Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hi friends, I'm Laura, and welcome to my podcast, Her
Journey Towards Change. This is a faith based life coaching
podcast for women who, like me, are on a journey
to live the best life possible. And then something happens,
something unforeseen, and everything changes. Life feels foreign and you
feel stuck and it's difficult to move forward and reaching
(00:27):
out can be hard. Right Believe me, I know if
this is you, this podcast is for you. I don't
claim to have all the answers, but I know who does.
God wants more for us, for you and for me.
You are created to live your best life, So I
hope you will go on this journey with me to
(00:49):
a more positive perspective and take those hard steps together
through Her Journey Towards Change. Together, let's break through the
barriers which are holding us back from a tie what
God has called us to be. So let's go, and
I hope you will go on this journey with me. Well, hello, friends,
(01:30):
welcome back. You are listening to Her Journey Towards Change
podcast And I'm Laura and I am the host of
this podcast, and I want to say thank you for
being here. You could be anywhere right now and if
you're listening to this, I appreciate you being here. It
(01:50):
means a lot to me. Well, what that said today
is episode number ninety nine, and I'm calling it. Some
times you just have to dot dot dot. And a
lot of times when I'm writing, I use the dot
dot dot. It says a lot to me. It just
(02:11):
keeps the thought, could just keep going. You could just
open it up to anything with the dot dot dot.
So the title is sometimes you just have to dot
dot dot and uh, I think I have twenty three here.
But you know, there comes a time when holding on
does more harm than letting go. And that's with anything
(02:34):
in life. And I think God invites us to release
the burdens, the fears, and all the expectations that keep
us stuck so that we can walk in freedom and
we can walk in truth. And I really believe that
healing begins when we trust Him enough to take the
next step, even when it feels hard. So I have
(02:57):
twenty three here, and I'll just start off with sometimes
you just have to let go of what's weighing you down.
That's number one. Number two, sometimes you just have to
show up even when you don't feel ready. Number three
Sometimes you just have to trust that God's plan is
(03:21):
bigger than what you see. Number four. Sometimes you just
have to let faith and God carry you when nothing
else will. Number five. Sometimes you just have to stop
waiting for an apology you're never gonna get. Number six.
(03:45):
Sometimes you just have to take the first step, even
if it terrifies you. Number seven. Sometimes you have to
love people who don't love you back and keep your
heart soft. Number eight. Sometimes you just have to remind
yourself that surviving is just all you can do and
(04:10):
it's enough for today. Number nine. Sometimes you just have
to break your own toxic cycles. Number ten. Sometimes you
just have to choose hope even when it feels like
a battle. Number eleven. Sometimes you just have to say
the truth, no matter how messy it sounds. And number twelve.
(04:35):
Sometimes you have to forgive yourself for the mistakes that
you can't undo. Number thirteen. Sometimes you have to leave
the door open for grace and second chances. Number fourteen.
Sometimes you just have to stand up for yourself, even
if your voice shakes. Number fifteen. Sometimes you just have
(04:59):
to feel the year and do it anyway. Number sixteen.
Sometimes you have to burn and build the bridges to
move forward. Number seventeen. Sometimes you have to let people
think what they want about you. Number eighteen. Sometimes you
(05:22):
just have to stop living small to make others comfortable.
Let me say that again. Sometimes you just have to
stop living small to make others comfortable. Number nineteen. Sometimes
you have to believe that God hasn't forgotten about you,
And I don't think that's sometimes. Sometimes it's not for
(05:46):
this one. It's always believe that God has not forgotten you.
Number twenty. Sometimes you just have to speak the truth,
even if it costs you. Number twenty one. Sometimes you
have to release the people who aren't meant to stay
in your life. Number twenty two. Sometimes you have to
(06:08):
drop the mask and be fully, unapologetically yourself. And last,
but not least, twenty three Sometimes you have to quit
the thing that's killing your joy. You know you were
never meant to carry the weight of life aloom. I
(06:29):
think we have to trust God's plan and release the
things that are beyond our control, and we have to
step forward in our faith. His grace will meet you
where you are, and his strength will carry you where
you're meant to be. And I want to close with
(06:51):
a Bible verse Psalms fifty five cast your cheek, cast
your cares on the Law, and he will sustain you.
He will never let the righteous be shaken again Psalms
fifty five two, cast your cares on the Lord, and
(07:12):
he will sustain you. He will never let the righteous
be shaken. So I hope that this episode has been
encouraging for you, and maybe one or two of these
will speak to you and you can go forward with
the remaining of the week and be a little stronger,
be a little wiser, love a little more, and definitely
(07:38):
look up to God more and depend on him more.
And until next time, Love you guys,
