Speaker 1 (00:12):
The headquarters Club His High, Lost Vegas. Welcome back, Welcome back, family,

(00:37):
to another powerful episode of Acts, Verse by Verse series.
Today we step into one of the most important moments
in our faith in the church history. Today the very
first gospel sermon ever ever preached in the very first

(01:00):
message of revival. We're talking about three thousand souls saved
in one day, and I mean boy missing his hop.
You know, it's eleven o'clock here in the Las Vegas City, Yo,
eleven am where we come on here live so that

(01:23):
we can meet you in the live chat, so that
we can say what's up to the community, so that
we can fellowship and love on one another. Yes, sir, Yes, sir.
All you have to do is download that his radio
app Hi Shop on all platforms. Download that app and

(01:47):
once you download it, go to the top left menu,
hit that drop down, click on live chat and click
on register And it's real simple, real easy, real quick.
All you need is to user name, email address and
password and bang. Yes, you are a part of the family.
You can call us your small group on the radio station. Uh.

(02:11):
This is where we fellowship, where we get into the
word together, and where we hold each other accountable, right,
Real successful people know that they have to have accountability,
that they have to have a coach. That's why you
get a life coach, or a coach on a basketball
team or in the Olympics. You know, if you're really

(02:32):
gonna train and you're really gonna get good at something,
you get a coach, someone that can pour into you,
or a mentor or what the Bible calls it discipleship. Right,
you pour into someone and then raise them up so
they can pour into someone else. And what we pour
is a word of God, because on this podcast, we

(02:53):
believe that the ingrafted word is able to save your soul.
You know what I'm saying. So we want to welcome
you in a life chat. Say something, give us a
shout out so that we can shout you out back
on the radio station. And if you're tuning in so
that you can get infu about the Christmas event, we

(03:14):
give updates here on the show daily, so just stick around.
Later in the podcast will be giving you updates and
info that you are going to need to get your
toys this year. Amen, let's go before the Father in prayer.

(03:38):
Heavenly Father, we come before you, Heavenly Father. We thank
you for another day. We thank you for your provision.
Every day. You provide the sun, the moon, and the stars.
So God, You've allowed our eyes to wake up and
to open. Oh God, thank you that we are in
our right mindset. Hey God, Thank you, Lord, and I

(04:00):
thank you for the cross. Thank you for the victory
that has already been won. Oh God, thank you for
the blood that has been shed. Oh God, so that
we can be made righteous in your sight. Father, we
thank you and we praise you in the mighty name
of Jesus. And God's people said, that's right, all right,

(04:26):
grab your bibles, you know, pads, and your highlighters as
we dive into the Word today. As I said a
minute ago, we're in Acts chapter two. We're actually going
to finish the chapter today, verse thirty six, all the
way through forty seven. And I'm coming from the New
King James. And the title of today's episode is cut

(04:51):
to the heart, the first Revival. Amen. Cut to the
heart here in verse thirty six. So let's see how
it's done by the early Church, and the Word of
God says, Therefore, let all the House of Israel know

(05:16):
assuredly that God has made this Jesus whom you crucified
both Lord and Christ. Amen. Hallelujah. Now let's break this
down real quick. Peter now brings this sermon home. This

(05:37):
is the punch, This is the chin checker. Right here,
the bold spirit filled declaration that Jesus is not only
Messiah but Lord. Peter, formerly fearful right now stands fearless

(06:00):
because his spirit empowers him. This is the power of transformation.
This is what the Holy Spirit would like to do
in our lives. We need to cooperate and allow the
Holy Spirit to do so. The same Spirit who didn't

(06:22):
the same not Spirit, but the same Peter who denies Jesus,
is now confronting an entire nation. Wow, look at the
power of the Holy Spirit. That's what the Holy Spirit does.
He gives you backbone. Peter is not gentle here. He

(06:46):
is truthful and he is direct. He doesn't say Israel
misunderstood Jesus. He says, you crucified him. Conviction begins with
the truth. Amen, And you said that again, convictions. Conviction

(07:09):
begins with the truth. Whenever you want to change, or
we wouldever you want to evaluate yourself or someone else.
Whenever there's an issue whenever there's a problem, remember this.
Always remember, and this is the pattern of Scripture. I'm

(07:33):
talking Bible to you right now. The only way to
change yourself and your situation or circumstances, your marriage, even
your children. Listen up. The first step is you have
to acknowledge the truth. You have to introduce the truth

(07:55):
in each and every situation. And the only way is
done is by the power of the Holy Spirit. God
has to reveal the truth in us. Add this to
your prayer list. Lord, tell me the truth about myself.
And sometimes it gets ugly, sometimes it hurts, but God

(08:17):
is trying to heal us. And I started praying this prayer.
I lifted up my voice and I said, Lord, show
me the truth about myself. A couple of days later,
I had a conversation with my pastor and he was
breaking some stuff down, you know what I mean. We
had to deal with different issues, and you know, the
truth was spoken and I had to just sit there

(08:39):
and take it right. Because the Bible says in Book
of Proverbs that the righteous man loves wisdom and correction.
And I'm thankful. I thank God for it. And that's
one of the benefits we have in our accountability partners. Right,
Joining the group, joining the life chat is we can

(09:03):
go to a place. We're developing relationships where we speak
truth to one another. Sometimes your situation will not change.
You need someone to speak truth in your life. And
this is what Peter is doing. He's speaking truth to
the whole entire nation that you, with your bloody hands

(09:25):
crucified the Messiah. He would not let them off the hook,
all right now verse thirty seven. Now when he heard this,
they were cut to the heart. The truth will cut sometimes.
When was the last time the truth cut you? When

(09:46):
was the last time you sat down and read the
Bible and allowed the Bible to like just cut you
all up and down? Its vital is important allow the
word to do so, And said to Peter and the
rest of the apostles, men and brethren, what shall we do? Hallelujah?

(10:14):
That is a very good question, and that's a question
we need to ask today. Right. Conviction is the work
of the Holy Spirit. You can argue with men, but
you can't argue with conviction. It pierces deeper than intelligence,

(10:37):
than intellect. Conviction can go deeper than your intellect. It
could reach your very heart. And we need this today.
We need to be convicted every time we open the Bible,
every time we go to church. We should always be
challenged to change and to improve and to do better. Right.

(11:04):
We need conviction, not entertainment, not hype, but conviction. The
Bible begins when the heart gets pierced. This also shows
that the truth doesn't push people away.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
It looks like you lost another one.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
Then the spirit is behind it. It draws them to repentance.
And man, let me say that's a little better here.
This it just show us that truth should not draw

(11:51):
people away when the Holy Spirit is speaking behind it.
Sometimes you could say something be truthful, but it could
be hurtful. Right. Sometimes we use the truth to tear
a person down or to have something over someone. But
when the Holy Spirit is involved, the truth will draw

(12:15):
people closer to God. Amen, all right? Verse thirty seven.
Now when they heard this, they were cut to the
heart and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles,

(12:36):
men and brethren, what shall we do that was worth
reading in right the works of the Holy Spirit verse
thirty eight. And Peter said to them, repent, and let
every one of you be baptized in the name of
Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall

(13:03):
receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise
is to you and to your children, into all who
are far off, as many as a lord will call, Amen, hallelujah.
Let's break this down. Repent and let every one of

(13:29):
you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for
the remission of sins. Now, Repentance means a change of
mind that brings a change of direction. Baptism is the

(13:49):
outward expression of inward faith. Baptism by itself does not
save us, but it is a command that we be baptized.
It's an outward expression that you receive the faith that

(14:10):
you're no longer gonna live a life controlled by the flesh,
but now you're gonna live a life controlled by the
Holy Spirit. Now, Peter, he didn't say try Jesus. Peter
said repent. He said, change your mind, turn from a

(14:35):
life of sin and turn to Christ. We need to
be doing a lot of turning. This is intentional. This
is not something to play with that doesn't happen automatically.
Or we can put this on cruise control. We have
to when we are tempted or when we feel that sin,

(14:56):
that those thoughts that are rising up, right, then we
take those thoughts captive and we turn to the Lord,
our savior and yield to him. Then he said to
be baptized publicly, die to the old life, and rise
up into the new life that God has provided for us,

(15:26):
and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Now this is the promise. This is a precious promise. Amen,
And I hope everyone take advantage of this amazing promise
that God has provided forgiveness, salvation, and empowerment. This is

(15:54):
the promise. This is the work that God wants to do.
Let me repeat that for given, He's ready to forgive
us salvation, He's ready to save us from the wrath
to come, and empowerment. He wants to empower our lives
even here and even now. Jesus doesn't just save you

(16:20):
from sin, he empowers you to overcome sin. And I
mentioned yesterday that I wanted to do a little study
or make a list concerning all of the benefits that
comes with the Cross, everything that Christ paid for us

(16:43):
to have and is actually on the website if you
go to his High Nation dot com and scroll down
and go to the blog his High Radio blog. It
shows the episode and it shows like the benefit of
the Cross, and I encourage everyone to go and check

(17:09):
that out and do a thorough study of what we
now have access to because of our Lord and Savior Jesus.
God doesn't do anything halfway, have baked, or have done.
He has paid a high price so that you can
have these benefits a man, at least find out what

(17:30):
they are. You know, I'm gonna put a link on
the app as well on my podcast, similar to where
the Accountability Partner link is. Will put a link somewhere
in that area as well. All right, Verse thirty nine,

(17:55):
For the promise is to you and your children and
to who all who are far off. Now, this promise
exists to every generation. The outpoint of the Spirit wasn't
a one time historical event. This verse kills an argument

(18:19):
that the gifts of the Spirit died with the apostles.
That is a lie straight from the pits of hell.
The promise is still alive to all who are afar off,
including us. Amen, we can have all the power of

(18:41):
the Spirit if we only believe. Amen, hallelujah. Verse forty
and with many other words. He testifies and exhorted them, saying,

(19:02):
be saved from this perverse generation. Hallelujah, Lord, save me
from this perverse generation. She ain't said nothing but a word, Peter. Hallelujah.
Now Peter preached this same message we must preach today.

(19:22):
Come out of the world. The world system has always
been cricket. It's been twisted, and it is an anti
christ system, an anti God system. Salvation means separation from
this system, not participation, but seporation, Amen, Verse forty one.

(20:00):
Then those who gladly receive this word were baptized, and
that day about three thousand souls were added to them. Hallelujah.
Three thousand souls. The first sermon in the New Church

(20:24):
Age Amen, in the Early Church age. Now a fisherman
preaches one sermon and three thousand people get saved. This

(20:54):
is revival power. Now, that's what happens when the Holy Spirit,
the Word of God, and pure obedience collide. Is it manufactured?
It is birth. You need to birth a revival. Now

(21:16):
let me say this again. Now, this is what happens
when the Holy Spirit and the Word of God and
obedience collide. Hey man, this is where they meet forty two.
And they continue steadfastening in the apostles, doctrine and fellowship,

(21:41):
in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. Hallelujah. So
there's one thing I'm going to say about the live
chat our community. I meet when my brother's on three.
We try to meet after the podcast when our schedules
work together to make it more consistent. But look at

(22:03):
how they they were steadfast in their fellowship. They were
consistently praying, They broke bread together, they hung out together,
and they continued in the doctrine. They continued to learn,
They sharpened their minds. The Word of God is alive.

(22:24):
The word of God, word of God is something that
we need to learn continuously until the day we leave
this earth. Amen, hallelujah. Where we at now verse forty three.
Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and

(22:49):
signs were done through the apostles. Those gad didn't just
finish out the chapter. Now all who believed were together
and had all things in common, and sold their possessions
and goods and divided them among all as anyone had need.

(23:12):
So continuing, continuing daily with one accord. And this is
what we do here on a podcast. My brother told
my brother Corinth, I'm like, man, we're on here every day,
and he was like, what every day? I mean because
people they're used to like a new episode once a

(23:32):
week or maybe once a month on most podcasts. But
we're here every day. And this is one of the
reasons why we need to develop that spiritual discipline. Right,
we need to spend time in word and time in
God's presence and prayer. But the Lawyer wants us daily,

(23:53):
and they did it daily. Now, the fear came upon
every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through
the apostles. So continuing daily with one accord verse forty
six in the temple and breaking bread from house to house,

(24:15):
they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,
praising God and having favor with all people. And the
Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved. Amen,
the Lord added to the church. Amen. Now fear came

(24:42):
upon every soul. The fear of the Lord returns order
and also purity and reverence. Miracles flow in environments where
God is honored. Hallelujah. You honor God in your church.

(25:02):
That's one thing I love about fresh Wind. They are
big on honoring God, like you can't use your phone
or text doing service right and even during the altar
call if you're not engaged in prayer, our pastor will
ask you to step out. If you're just having an
idle conversation and not engaged in what God is doing,

(25:25):
you know they hold you to a high standard because
we want to honor God, hallelujah, and I want to
honor God on this podcast, and we do need the
fear of God. He brings everything in order. It's just
like a home with a father, a godly father. He

(25:46):
brings order to his home. He returns purity, reverence, and
honor and respect. Loujah forty four and forty five. The
church shall now the church. They were willing to share,

(26:12):
and it was not by force, It was not by
a government system, but out of love. They shared. They
sold their possessions right now. This wasn't socialism. This was
surrendered hearts loving on each other and their love overflowed

(26:38):
to generosity. If we go back to this, there would
not be one person that you need on this planet
if we just had a heart of love, and naturally
generosity will follow that Amen. Verse forty six, it worshiped

(27:00):
daily eight together fellowshipt with joy and simplicity. Sometimes we
just need to go back to the simplicity of our faith. Amen,
Sometimes we just need to keep it simple and forty seven,

(27:20):
and the Lord added to the church daily those who
are being saved. This is healthy church growth. Healthy churches,
healthy ministries will grow, will multiply. Sometimes that growth can
be slow, but there's growth. There's good fruit there. Spirit

(27:44):
filled believers attract the lost. Then we say that again,
that's a t shirt. Spirit field believers attract the loss,
not people who are full of themselves and full of
the flesh, full of the kernel mind. The Bible says,
the kernel mind will mind things of the flesh. And

(28:09):
where your mind goes, your mind is your forerunner. If
you don't control your thoughts, if you allow your mind
to wonder like that, then your flesh will follow. That's
why we need to meditate on the word. Amen. When
Christ is exalted, that is when souls will enter the kingdom.

(28:36):
Let me say that again, When Christ is exalted, that's
where we will bear most fruit. Amen, where souls will
get saved, touched, healed, and delivered the word of God. Says,
if you lift me up, I will draw all mens

(28:56):
unto me. Amen, lou Jah, let's put a break right there.

Speaker 2 (29:04):
You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
is the Hiss Hop radio show.

Speaker 3 (29:18):
Yeah, I better lust than the pressure, suic I said
in my mind, I had to fight with digression. I
used to think about time. I used to lost for
the past. I used to lost for the grind. I
used to lust for the fame, used to be scared
of my cond I used to lust for my rhymes
till saying, God put for hond and I put my
faith in the practice. But then he still drew a line.
He said, I got all these limits. He told me

(29:38):
stop that repent, and I got delivered in Atlanta when
I ask.

Speaker 4 (29:41):
Gott to fix it.

Speaker 3 (29:41):
So many talks of the spits. When they talk, I
don't hear it. They printen me. I don't fear. If
God is for me, who's a kiss me. I'm on
top of my business. I can't stop being a witness.
God is so so good. It's just the fact that
I'm living Yeah, a range a way because it can't
tell me who I am. They can't save today because
who am I have got condemn and when I pray away,
oh I'm problem, start to swim, telling him Jesus is
the king, and when he comes time to win a

(30:03):
pain when I ain't want to see another day.

Speaker 4 (30:08):
God telling me there you all letting me go. We
give me against Wayne. Gods, I got you a pain.

Speaker 3 (30:14):
Away, but I ain't want to.

Speaker 4 (30:16):
See another day.

Speaker 3 (30:18):
God telling me that you all let me give you
against Wayne. Guys, you know I spend many days thinking
I was thinking for no reason. It was Jesus who
believed I get the freedom. Yeah, and know I'm nice,
still madicitious was controlling me in sickness that was roaming
in the not No, I.

Speaker 4 (30:34):
Could see it.

Speaker 3 (30:34):
Yeah, as soon as I got my deliver room, as
I saw the demons coming somewhere running though they ain't
hate that I am breathing. Yeah, but I am here
for many reasons, I've been walking in new seasons. Used
to Fred about the little bit of pieces on. I've
had support that's in my life. No, they've been praying
for my sight to start increasing in my faith and
never weaken. Yeah, I realized this is spiritual material us
that's there that you will vanish and eternity will seek you.

Speaker 4 (30:56):
Yeah, So I started working on myself.

Speaker 3 (30:58):
To the day I lose my flesh, I'll be saving
so because I know that guy gave me this breath
for a reason, and this time I gotta keep him
up in my mind.

Speaker 4 (31:07):
I got my pain away.

Speaker 3 (31:09):
When I ain't want to see another day, God.

Speaker 4 (31:12):
Telling me that he won't let me go. Who can
be against way? And got Mom?

Speaker 3 (31:17):
I got my pain away, But now I ain't want
to see another day. God telling me.

Speaker 4 (31:23):
That he won't let me go. Who can be against way?
Ain't got mom? Through the rain doing storm. He go
through the car hard days, he go through the car
hard nights, he go through the.

Speaker 3 (31:37):
Car hard days.

Speaker 4 (31:38):
He go through.

Speaker 3 (31:39):
The rain door the storm.

Speaker 4 (31:40):
Here you go the car hard days.

Speaker 2 (31:43):
He go.

Speaker 4 (31:44):
No, he won't let me go through the car hard days.

Speaker 3 (31:49):
He won't let me go.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
You are listening to the Light of Las Vegas. This
is the his hop radio show.

Speaker 1 (32:16):
All right, I'm right and we're back. This is his
hot radio podcast going through the book of Vacs. That's
our sister kid Lee with the cut. He won't let
me go. Come on, now take the pain away. Now

(32:38):
it was time for the accountability Partners segment. As I
said before, the heart behind this was working the altar
at church, ministering the people, noticing that people have been
struggling with the same thing for years and wanting to help,
wanting to be able to help people actually make a change,

(33:01):
make a difference, make a lasting change in our lives.
We need that accountability partner. We need it. That's what
Jesus is, Go and make disciples. We need to be
pouring into each other. Amen. And so in order to
do that, I said, well, let me add this to

(33:21):
the podcast, right, because they're already meeting together like a
small group on this app. I mean we're more than
that too. We can have fun. There's a lot that
we can do here on the app as we build
our community. But one thing we want to do is
hold each other accountable. Because a lot of people are

(33:43):
going to church and they're still on their way to
hell because they choose to skip this part of it.
Just think of it like this, like a lion out
hunting for their prey, and when they look at the pack,
they look for the stragglers, the ones who are isolated,

(34:05):
the ones who can't keep up, the young, the ones
who are vulnerable, the babes in Christ. That's why we
got to stay together as a pack, as a group,
stay on that narrow road. Amen. And so if you
would like to reach out to us and becoming a

(34:26):
if you would like someone to pour into you and
make that next step, fill out the form on the app.
Just go to the top left menu look on podcasts
clok on his Hot radio podcasts to scroll down to
Accountability Partner. Fill it out, fill out the information. And
actually what I would like to do on this podcast

(34:48):
is read your information if you're struggling with something, because
you get blessed and help someone else. Right it could
be a porn addiction or anything like that that you
may be struggling, and then we can actually walk you
through the process live here online and witness your growth

(35:09):
and your breakthrough. That's what we really want to do
with this segment. And also we give you daily challenges
and questions. So call your accountability partner and talk about
this topic. Ask him, are you allowing the Holy Spirit

(35:29):
to pierce your heart when he convicts you or do
you just resist him? A man, we could grieve and
resist the Holy Spirit. We can do that to our
hurt and our demids. We can do that. Let's not
resist him. Amen. Also, it's our radio is a monitored

(35:56):
in a reporting radio station. We report your data, your information,
the spins, how many times you get played, It goes
out there, and there's a couple of charts that we
do report to. And also the app itself is a chart.
You can become number one on the app. All you
have to do is click the thumbs up button when

(36:18):
your favorite song comes on. He also give yourself a
five star rating and all this information gets reported. It
helps to get you exposure, It helps you come and
allow our community to discover you. But you gotta purchase

(36:40):
one of our advertisement packages in order to chart. Amen.
Now it's time for a trivia question. Trivia question. Now,
I'm gonna tell you a little secret. Zone three gets
the answers mostly every time, but he likes to delay.

(37:03):
He likes to like, see who's gonna answer first, right,
He just got a big heart like that. But also
he likes to, well, we would like to, you know,
just to have fun, right, just to see all the
answers that everybody come up with and see who gets
the right one. Ain't that what it's about, all right?

(37:25):
So the first one to answer this question wins for
today and these are posted in the Life Chat. The
question is how many souls are added to the church
after Peter's sermon and Acts two? Again, how many souls
were added to the church after Peter's sermon and Acts

(37:51):
Chapter two? All right, go over there and see if
you can be his own. He's gonna give you a
head start community shout out. This is where we give
you the updates about community events. If you have an event,
send that into us. Go to his hop nation dot

(38:13):
com you can submit that. And uh, we're just gonna
update on this segment our event that is going down
December the twentythh December the twentieth here in Las Vegas.
Were actually gonna go by the venue today and kind

(38:37):
of scope it out. So keep that up in prayer
and we will we will release an address and everything
a little later on one of these other episodes. But
also get ready for the trivia if you wanna have
fun and uh do a little trivia, little scavenger hunt,

(38:59):
I mean trivia, Get ready for this scavenger And I
meant we'll give you updates on that. We're still gathering
those who will participate and once we get all that finalized,
we'll let you know where you can go and what
you can expect as we do these things. Amen, No,

(39:22):
I want to highlight our organization and his our nation.
We are a nonprofit organization five oh one c three
public charity. We're looking for grants, We're looking for sponsors
and donors. So if you want to sew into good ground,
of course, you know the biblical principle. It works every

(39:43):
time when you sow, you shall reap. Right, it's better
to give than to receive, and it's also good to
give into good ground. We want to relaunch or reopen
Club His Hot Las Vegas. There's a lot of things
we do throughout the community. We minister with the at
risk youth. We visit the detention centers, we do Bible studies, mentorships,

have benefits, we have things that are given to us.
We just have to use them. We have to believe God,
trust God, and put these things into practice. Amen. With
that being said, I'm gonna head out. This is my time.

social media platforms in our period his Hop. Some platforms
don't have a period, So just type in mister his Hop, like, subscribe, follow,

It's all about the Christ in us. God bless you.

The Male Room with Dr. Jesse Mills

As Director of The Men’s Clinic at UCLA, Dr. Jesse Mills has spent his career helping men understand their bodies, their hormones, and their health. Now he’s bringing that expertise to The Male Room — a podcast where data-driven medicine meets common sense. Each episode separates fact from hype, science from snake oil, and gives men the tools to live longer, stronger, and happier lives. With candor, humor, and real-world experience from the exam room and the operating room, Dr. Mills breaks down the latest health headlines, dissects trends, and explains what actually works — and what doesn’t.
