Speaker 1 (00:31):
Yo, yo, yo, what up? What up? You know what
time it is. It is eleven o'clock right here on
his Hot radio and it's time for his Hoigh Radio podcast.
I'm your boy, I'm your host, mister his hob and
we are taking y'all through a Book of Acts today
and more specifically the Book of Acts chapter two, and

(00:56):
we're going to pick up in verse thirteen. Hey, this
is where the power finally fell on the early church.
Our brothers from Galilee are right, the brothers who turned
the whole world upside down. I'm talking about the apostles,
our leaders. And they began to speak in tongues fire,

(01:20):
and the shape of a tongue was just over everyone's head.
And this was a powerful movement of the church. And
as they were speaking, people heard in their own language
words that were glorifying God, hallelujah. And also there's some
people that wanted to mock. Right, there's some people always

(01:43):
hating on the move of God. You're always gonna have
the haters out there. But we're gonna dive into it.
We're gonna look at it all. We're gonna see Peter
stands up. We saw Peter deny Christ three times. We
saw him hide in fear, we saw him fail, then

(02:04):
we saw the Lord restore him. And now he's gonna
stand up with boldness and preach the first message of
the Church age. So we're gonna dive into that shout
out to the powerful boldness of the Holy Spirit that
he wants to do in our lives. But first, you

(02:25):
know what I'm gonna say, We need y'all to make
this official and take that second step and join us.
Every day at eleven o'clock am, we will be live
in the Life Chat located on his hot radio app.
So come on and join the family. All you have
to do is look up the app Hishop Radio. Make

(02:50):
sure there's space. Is there his space hop Space Radio
on all platforms download that bad boy. You know what,
if you want to give us, it's a five star rating.
You want to give us a review on whatever app
store you're in, we would appreciate that. You can find
us in the iOS Store, ANDROI, the Google Play Store,

(03:12):
and also Windows. If you have a laptop or desktop
and you got Windows Microsoft, give us a review on there.
As a matter of fact, I don't think we have
anything on Microsoft as far as reviews, so we'd appreciate
that if y'all can help us out with that. And
once you download it, go to the top left menu,

(03:34):
click that drop down click on live chat and it's
easy just to use a name, email address, and password
and bang, you are a part of the family right here.
We like to encourage each other, hold each other accountable,
pray for each other. This is where we connect Monday
through Saturday at eleven o'clock am Pacific Standard time. Yours

(03:58):
truly mister his hot, We'll be there and also say
what's up to our brother Zone three? Say what's up
to our brother corinth Corinthian all the way in Chicago
and everybody else who likes to pop in. Let's grow
this community because on this podcast we believe that then

(04:19):
grafted word is able to save our souls. We are
on that narrow path and we want you all to
join us and connect with us. Say man. And also
we do a phone call after the podcast, so if
you want to jump on the call, hit us up
in a live chat, let us know. I'll reach out
to you. We can DM each other in the live chat,

(04:42):
so DM me your phone number, or I'll just create
a conference number and everybody can call into that and
we can have a call a fellowship and prayer after
the podcast. How many podcasts out there do you know
that does that where you can call the hosts after

(05:02):
the show. Well, you got it right here on his
high radio. And with that, that's good. Be for Father,
Heavenly Father. Thank you, Father God for another day allowing
us to open up our eyes, allowing us to wake up.
Oh God. There's people today that did not wake up.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
Oh God.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
There are people out there who cannot move around, people
who are not in their right minds. Oh God, But
you've blessed us. So God, Oh Lord, and Father, help
us to make the most of it. God, help us
to spend this time together in your word. We ask
for the spirit of wisdom and revelation and understanding. Oh God.
Thank you, Father God for putting this podcast in prominent places,

(05:42):
Oh God, on websites and social media, so people can
click on it. God, and people can hear what they
need to hear, Father God, and be touched by you.
Father God, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Use
this podcast as an arrow to pierce the darkness. So God,
and we ask this in Jesus Mighty name. Amen. All right,

(06:08):
let's dive into it. Grab your bibles, your highlighters, and
your notepads. Let's feast. Amen. And I already gave it
the background. This is the booking backs the early Church,
the Upper Room experience, also known as the Dead Pentecost.

(06:30):
The Holy Spirit is now poured out on the New
Testament Church. And this is the beginning of the Church age,
the age we are in now. And so let's see
how it's supposed to be done. Right, Let's go back
to the original blueprint, and let's pray as we go

(06:50):
through this. Let's pray that God will do this again
in us. Let us be the New Testament Church. Let
us have the power of the Holy Spirit that we
see was poured out on our apostles. Amen. This was
written so that we can learn and apply it and
understand it. Amen. All right. Acts Chapter two, verse fourteen.

(07:16):
But Peter standing up with the eleven, as I said
a minute ago, they were mocking. They were saying that
this is new wine, and so you know, this is
a move of God, and people began to mock it.
So Peter is going to defend it. Peters, standing up
with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them,

(07:40):
men of Judah and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let
this be known to you, and heed my words. For
these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is
only the third hour of the day. But this is

(08:02):
what was spoken by the Prophet Joel. Remember I mentioned
any other podcasts. I'm amazed at the knowledge of scripture
that Peter has. Peter was a common fisherman, but he
spent time with God. And look at how powerful the
word of God is when you quote it. Amen. And

(08:26):
you always gotta have scripture reference to things that we experience. Amen.
Now he's quoting the prophet Joel. And it shall come
to pass in the last days, says God, that I
will pour out my spirit on all flesh. Your sons
and daughters will prophesy. Your young men shall see visions,

(08:51):
your old men shall dream dreams. And my manservants, and
on my manservance and on my maid servants. I will
pour out my spirit in those days, and they shall prophesy.
I will show wonders in heaven above, in signs and

(09:13):
earth beneath, blood and fire and vapor and smoke. The
sun shall turn into darkness and the moon into blood
before the coming of the great and awesome day of
the Lord. Wow. And I shall come, and it shall

(09:34):
come to pass that whosoever calls on the name of
the Lord shall be saved. Hallelujah. Men of Israel, hear
these words Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested by God

(09:55):
to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did
through him in your mist as you yourselves also know
him being delivered by the determined, by the determined. Suppose

(10:17):
the fore knowledge of God. Excuse me, I'm I know,
I'm jumbling this up. Him being delivered by the determined
purpose and for knowledge of God you have taken by
lawless hands and has crucified and put to death, whom

(10:40):
God raised, having loose the pains of death because it
was not possible that he should be held by it.
Amen a l alujah. All right, let's start breaking this down. Amen.

(11:00):
Now this is the saint Peter who denied Jesus three times,
as I mentioned before. Now he's transformed by the Holy Spirit.
Now he stands up boldly before thousands. I believe a
lot of people or the commentators that I've read said

(11:25):
it was about three thousand people that were converted to
the early Church. Now the third hour will equal nine am,
showing that darkness wasn't reasonable.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
It looks like you.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
Lost another one, right, it wasn't reasonable to be drunk
at nine am. People normally got drunk at night in
the dark. Right. So Peter uses logic in scripture also

(12:07):
to bring clarity. And as I said, you know the
knowledge of the word, this is how we're supposed to
use the word, is not There's nothing wrong with using
knowledge in common sense, in mixing it with the word
of God in scripture. But look at how he uses
scripture to correct their thinking. It's important to understand our

(12:32):
thoughts and man think about what we think about. And
then he goes to Joel. He goes to the prophecy
of Joel, and Joel prophesied about the Last days, and
the last days began at Pentecosts. We've been in the
Last Days for about two thousand years now, so we're

(12:55):
really at the end of the end. That this actually
includes the entire church age. Now, josephs I will Joel reread,
I will pour out my spirit on all flesh. Shows

(13:20):
the Spirit is not limited to a select few. It
says that all flesh will receive the spirits, sons, daughters, servants, old, young,
everyone can receive the Holy Spirit, the spirit of God.

(13:45):
Now the signs in verses nineteen and twenty look beyond
Pentecosts to the end of times, or should I say
that in times events? Like I believe that we're about

(14:06):
to see all these things in the time, the generation
we're living in right now. You see. At this point
Peter connects prophecy to the full plan of God, how
it plays out completely, and then his message shifts to

(14:34):
Jesus himself, his life, his miracles, and his crucifixion and
his resurrection. And then what he did with that is
he placed the responsibility on the crowd, but shows how

(14:56):
God was sovereign and how the will of God was
done even though the responsibility was placed on them. He said,
whom you crucify? And then he leaves off of something

(15:18):
that is very encouraging. He speaks about death, and he
says that it is not possible that he should be
held by it. Death has no authority over the sinless one. Amen.
The wages of sin is death. But Jesus is the

(15:43):
sinless one. Death has no authority, and death has no
jurisdiction over our Savior. And that follows over to us
as well. We do not have to fear death if
we choose to abide in Christ. Hey man, let's put

(16:08):
a praise right there all right, now, let me mention
something that is very powerful about this chapter. The Holy
Spirit will turn crowds into warriors. Right, the Holy Spirit

(16:34):
will turn nations into warriors. Look at Peter a few
weeks earlier. He was scared of the servant girl. Right
when the servant girl called him out, he denied Christ.
Now his preaching, he is preaching to thousands without fears. Hallelujah.

(17:02):
That's the dunamous power of the Holy Spirit that is
available unto us. What changed Pentecosts changed this man? Allelujah.

Speaker 3 (17:20):
Now.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
The Spirit did not make Peter perfect, but it made
Peter powerful. Now listen, when the Holy Spirit feels you,
he doesn't just give you tongues, right, The Holy Spirit

(17:42):
gives you boldness, clarity, and strength. If you're trying to
do this thing without the Holy Spirit, it's like trying
to drive a car without gas. Look how Peter preached, right,
Look how powerful it was. He explains what's happening to

(18:07):
the crowd. He goes straight to scripture. Then he points
everything back to Jesus, which any good preacher would do right,
instead of trying to take credit or take the glory.
What only belongs to God, and he calls people to salvation.

(18:37):
Now that is the model for kingdom ministry. To explain
what is happening. In other words, to expose the truth.
Jesus said, truth will set you free. And we need
to know and ask God what is the truth about

(18:58):
our situation, our circumstance. Ask God to show us our hearts.
Where is your heart today? What are you believing today?
We are able to deceive ourselves. We are able to
allow ourselves to walk away from God when we lean

(19:21):
to our own understanding and go our own way. So
we got to understand the truth about the situation. Then
we got to back it up with scripture, with the
word of God. We have to go and see what
God has to say about our situation, and then we

(19:42):
have to go to Christ because he is the only
one who can help us. This speaks of our prayer life.
Right we go to Christ. Those who call upon the
name of the Lord shall be saved. Right, and then
we call people to salvation. We invite others to participate

(20:09):
in this time of redemption. Amen. But here's the part
that shakes me. The same spirit given to Peter is

(20:30):
also given to you. You have access to that same
Holy spirit, courage, you have access to that. You just
have to stand up like Peter did. Amen. You just

(20:52):
have to stand up and access. It's like the apostle
heater in the midst of thousands. So whatever it is
that God has called you to do, remember he will

(21:13):
empower you to do it. First as for the power,
as for the grace, as for the favor, as for
the anointing. Aymen, hallelujah. All right, we'll be back after this.

Speaker 4 (21:37):
You are listening to the Light of Las Vegas. This
is the Hiss Hop radio show.

Speaker 5 (21:48):

Speaker 2 (23:13):
I worked in the church, told him meet me on
the ave again. I can't see you're bad. Look at
God to get that one.

Speaker 5 (23:17):
Of the one.

Speaker 6 (23:19):
I don't mean the too, I mean the one, you
know one you know I can call God and get
it done, get it done.

Speaker 5 (23:24):
We never running out of nothing, out of nothing. Yeah,
I'm one of them. One and the one.

Speaker 2 (23:28):
I don't mean the two. I mean the one, you
know what, I can call God and get.

Speaker 5 (23:32):
It done, get it done.

Speaker 6 (23:33):
We ain't never running out of nothing, out of everything.
Coming in a bunk back back, back it up, Yeah,
I want it all back, rack it up, back back,
back it up.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
Yeah, I want it all back, rack it up.

Speaker 3 (23:47):
Wreck it up.

Speaker 5 (23:58):
Yeah, I'm one of them.

Speaker 3 (23:59):
One.

Speaker 4 (24:12):
You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
is the Hiss Hop radio Show.

Speaker 3 (24:28):
It looks like you lost another one.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
All right, all right, we are back from that music.
Break that song one of the ones by Mission Man.
That was some high heat right there. Check them out,
look them up. Let's support those who are pushing the
kingdom you know what I'm saying. I was hot right there.

(25:04):
All right, all right, Well, we are going through the
Book of Acts chapter two. We see the boldness, the power,
and the authority that we have in the Holy Spirit. Amen.
So I don't want us just to read about it.

(25:25):
I want us to experience it. I want us to
walk in it. I want manifestation of it now, just
like it was two thousand years ago. Amen. So I
want us to be a one accord and believe God together,
which brings us to the Accountability Partner segments. Now, we

(25:49):
were never meant to do this walk alone, right, We
were meant to do this in fellowship, to do it
in oneness, to support one another, to bless one another,
to help on another, to correct, if need be, to instruct.
The Bible says a wise man loves instruction and correction,

(26:09):
because it's gonna say if our bacon right, hallelujah. And So,
if you want to connect with us with the Accountability
Partner and go to the top level menu on the app,
hit that drop down, hit podcast, hit the hits How
Radio podcast, and then go down to the link that
says the Accountability Partner. Go over those answers and also

(26:32):
fill it out if you'll like for us to follow
up with you. Amen. And the challenge for today is
stand up for Jesus at least once this week.

Speaker 5 (26:48):
Right.

Speaker 1 (26:50):
It could be in a conversation, it could be in
public on social media, and you can pray for someone.
Stand up. Take one bold step. Then tell your accountability
partner what you did. Amen, hallelujah. Take a bold saying.

(27:12):
If Peter can do it, he can do it. That's
a whole point, right, If Peter can do it. If
Peter was afraid of a servant girl who was just
chilling by the fire, and he ran right in the

(27:37):
midst of the heat, and then he was transformed by
the power of the Holy Spirit speaking boldly to thousands,
how many of us get nervous when it comes to
public speaking. Will tap in to the power of the
Holy Spirit and be in bolding by our heavenly Savior. Amen, hallelujah.

(28:05):
I'll that's your challenge. Also, we want to just let
you know that his Hot Radio is a monitored in

we give away food, we give away prizes, you know,

Is it A Isaiah? Is it B Joel? Or is
it C. Jeremiah? All right, head over to that life

Each episode separates fact from hype, science from snake oil, and gives men the tools to live longer, stronger, and happier lives. With candor, humor, and real-world experience from the exam room and the operating room, Dr. Mills breaks down the latest health headlines, dissects trends, and explains what actually works — and what doesn’t. Smart, straightforward, and entertaining, The Male Room is the show that helps men take charge of their health without the jargon.
