Girls Cry Podcast. Hey everyone, welcome back to our second episode of Hawgirls
Cry. Yay. Number two ishere and we are on video now as
well, So if you guys arelistening on the audio form, there's a
(00:41):
YouTube version if you want to seeour faces, our beautiful faces with this
nice little setup we have going on. But yeah, we have the option.
Yes, we are all on it. So now we we'll be on
Spotify and Apple, all the placesand YouTube. Yes, ma'am so official.
Let let us go. Yes,it's podcasters' podcasters over here doing the
(01:06):
thing. But today's episode is oneof our favorite topics and it's also a
very trendy topic. But we're goingto be talking all about morning routines,
our morning routine, our dream morningroutines, and our daily non negotiables.
I love a good morning routine.I love to hear about other people's morning
routines and get like ideas and stufflike that. Me personally, I feel
(01:30):
like I have such a long morningroutine it can kind of be a little
bit like even ott for me.But when I do it, and I
do it well, I just feellike so good I can take on the
day. I'm good. So yeah, I'm so excited to get into this
episode. Yeah, And I thinkthat's the thing. Like I think like
(01:52):
TikTok and like being the main characterand I'm living our dream life and like
delusion and all that is making usfeel like we have to have like a
seventy five step routine and like whenI do, it's wonderful, but like
I can't. I mean I could, but I don't do that every day
and I would love to. ButI do feel like in general, if
(02:13):
you can just have your staples oflike what makes you feel good, that's
all you gotta have. Like, don't let us or TikTok pressure you.
No, No, one hundred percent. I feel like if having a super
long morning routine isn't in the cardsfor you, it's not in the cards
for you, you know. Ifthat's like not the type of person that
you are, that you want toget up and really do self care,
(02:35):
then don't do it. You know, you can always squeeze it in at
different points in your day, ordo it throughout the day multitasking with other
things. It doesn't have to bein the morning, and it definitely doesn't
have to be every day either,So do it whatever. And I think
it's like depends on your lifestyle.Like we're both people who work for ourselves,
primarily work from home with no children, so I think that plays a
(02:57):
part into our morning routines. Twohuge, huge part in our morning routines.
So I guess I'll just start withnine because she's a little longer,
because yours is more in death andI feel like you actually do yours more
consistently than I do mine. Yeah, I have been a lot better since
I've been in Dallas. I feellike in my new apartment I've been a
(03:17):
lot more on my morning routine becauseI've just done it. I've made it
a point to make it a habit, so now I can get through it
a little bit more quickly. Butat first it was taking me, Like
sometimes my morning routine can take mefour hours if I'm really sitting there really
milking everything, having a slow morning, doing everything I really, really really
(03:38):
want to do. But I justwake up in the morning. I really
oh sometimes six am, sometimes likeeight or nine. It's kind of all
over the place. But usually Ilike to be a six or seven that's
the dream. But sometimes eight, sometimes nine, I wake up and I
really have been trying not to geton my phone at all in the mornings.
(04:00):
I know that's so hard, andI used to be the worst at
that, especially living by myself.I used to just you don't have anyone
to talk to us or just like, let me see what the world's up
to, So I just hop onmy phone. But then your brain gets
so scrambled so early, and youreally don't have any time to like be
with yourself and think about what youhave going on. So I just get
up, brush my teeth first thingimmediately, and then go get some water,
(04:25):
come back to my skincare, andthen I will clean my house after
that, because I have to dothat in order for my head to be
functioning at any level. And whatis the cleaning and tail Oh gosh,
because you're not like a tidying upkind of clean in the morning. You're
like not a deep clean, butlike definitely not a tidy up, Like
(04:46):
it's a more involved clean. Yeah, it's honestly because I have these three
animals that get their hair absolutely everywhere. If I didn't have any animals,
I honestly don't even think I wouldhave to do anything. But I basically
just is on, you know, the laundry and the dishes, making sure
that's like kind of all put away, and then always always do a vacuum,
(05:09):
always wipe down, and that's kindof it. Sometimes all dhair,
like the the couch and fluff thepillows and do all that as well,
but kind of just varies like whatneeds to be done that morning, but
usually just a vacuum and a wipedown and like putting things in their places.
Just the vacuum, just the vacuum. This is not an ad for
Dyson, but if they wanted tosponsor, we're open to it. Oh
(05:31):
we are. We are begging,we're pleading, and dicon plea and then
what do I do? Make mybed? And then I will meditate for
twelve minutes in my red light? That is absolutely life changing. It's really
good for your skin. Red Lighttherapy is yeah, just really really good
(05:54):
for your skin, makes it sosoft, anti aging, collagen production.
And then I get dressed for thegym and then I go upside down for
three minutes. I go upside downfor three minutes on my yoga inversion bingched
because we all have one. Yeah, just just the little things, you
(06:15):
know. Um, and then inLayman's terms, it's a handstand. Yes,
yes, literally just use your wallif you need to know. It's
not that deep. But yeah, then I do that, and then I
make my breakfast and then after thatI'm off to the races, go to
the gym. Yeah, I say, what about the gym. Yeah,
I kind of consider that like outsideof my morning routine part two. Yeah,
(06:39):
because I feel like that's my day. Yeah, starting for the most
part, like I will go tothe gym sometimes or all red errands and
then go to the gym, andyou know, but you kind of like
get fully ready for the gym too, Like it's not like a pop to
the gym, pop back home, then start your day like you're you're kind
of like getting ready and then thegym is like part of the agenda,
you know. Yeah, I feellike I need to make it a whole
(07:00):
thing, because if I'm just draggingmyself there, like, oh, let
me just check this off, Idon't enjoy it as much. Yea.
So I felt like if I reallylike have a nice time and enjoy it,
and like I'm gonna get ready andgo and it's going to be like
a fun little outing, it's somuch easier for me. Especially. You
know, if you've look good atthe gym, you just you have a
better workout. Science. Yeah,I just can't try too hard for the
(07:21):
gum because I'm such a sweaty gowlthat like there's really no point for me.
No, it's just because you're perfecteither way, So you can just
hop in there looking gorgeous. Idon't know about that. But what about
on days when you work, becauseyou do almost all that on the days
that you work as well, youjust get up earlier. Yeah, I
just get up earlier and I dothe gym immediately. So I'll wake up,
(07:44):
brush my teeth, get water, and get dressed, go and then
I'll come back and then do thecleaning, the meditating and then inversion.
And obviously some days I can't dothe inversion or the red light meditation,
but most days I am definitely doingthe cleaning because I will go insane,
yeah, mentally, mentally go insane. And on those days, the days
(08:05):
that you're working, is that likea six am or yeah? Usually yeah,
six am. I think that's theearliest second get up. Honestly,
I was at these workout classes atthis place called Evolve in Dallas, and
they have five fifteen classes, andI'm like, how are y'all doing this?
Like how are y'all doing this?Because I go to bed at like
nine thirty when I have to wakeup at six, and I'm like,
(08:28):
how can you possibly go to bedany earlier? I can? It makes
sense to me. And your morningroutine starts with your nighttime routine, it
really does. So you're good aboutthat, Like you're good about like if
you need to get up early, you're putting yourself to bed. I'm like
the opposite where I get anxiety aboutgetting up early, so then I stay
up and then itself sabotage. Yeah, You're like you're thinking about having to
get up early, so it keepsyou up and I'm anticipating being tired,
(08:48):
and I'm like, I'm gonna beso tired tomorrow and then just it's a
spiral, yeah, and then theweek is ruined, and then it's a
downward spiral. I just know, like if I don't get enough sleep,
I will be insufferable. Yeah,So it's just to me, it's like
I have to get enough sleep otherwisethe day is down. And she's on
(09:09):
it, y'all, because like eve, when she comes to my house to
spend the night, she's like, okay, but I have to get up
at this time. So we're inbed by nine and I'm like, okay,
pop in my melotona. We're onit. She's like, let me
get this meltone and in baby, because I'm a bad sleeper and should I
can sleep like a rock at anymoment. It's true, it's true.
I do love my sleep. Ido love my sleep. But I feel
(09:31):
like that was very on brand forus as well as how we operate.
Like I'm very like non anxious andvery just go with the flow, and
you're very Yeah, it would belike the middle of my work day and
she's like, I'm gonna take apower nap, closes her eyes and takes
a power nap, and I'm like, how do you do that? Can
you teach me? That actually aboutthree hours to bentually prepare for a nap.
Can you can you teach me thatskill? Truly? Okay, what
(09:52):
is your morning routine? Vow?At the moment, it's chaos. Um.
I feel like it's been really hardfor me to like establish one,
and I feel like I had onefor a minute, but then my husband
change jobs, and like if you'recatching the drift, I'm a very anxious
person. I think in general,I really thrive off a routine, but
(10:13):
it has to be a routine thatI can keep no matter what. So
like I think if I have aroutine that then kind of like what you
were saying, like on some daysyou can get up at this time and
start your routine, and some daysyou need to make it wake up earlier.
I feel like that's really hard forme. It's like it needs to
be the routine no matter what. But then if it is a matter,
if it has to be changed, then I can't commit to it at all
(10:35):
because nothing. Yeah, I'm veryall or nothing. So it's like rather
than committing to it on the daysthat I can, it's like I will
just never commit to it. Yeah, So at the moment, I think,
in general, like I don't havethe healthiest morning routine. I'll walk
us through what it looks like youwake up on any given day, Yeah,
around seven, And I think it'shard to because aiden my husband,
(10:58):
he just changed jobs recently and heworks from home some days and works in
the office some days. So Ithink it really depends on like do I
have the morning to myself to likefocus on my routine or is he like
there? And I feel like ifyou're married or live with a partner,
it's like it makes a difference. No, it really does. Yeah,
but I try to get up atseven. Like my ideal day that I
actually have is like getting up atseven, and I like get dressed,
(11:22):
go straight to the gym. Likefor me, it's so much easier to
just like literally go straight to thegym and get my workout in. So
I get up at seven, I'llput war by seven fifteen, do F
forty five at seven thirty. That'slike my favorite, and I'm like,
Okay, today's gonna be a goodday. And then I get home.
I typically will make my iced coffee, which is very like religious to me,
(11:45):
and then I'll make my breakfast.I've been really good about like actually
having breakfast these days. I feellike that's a new thing for me because
for a while I was just survivingpurely off of like iced coffee. So
now I have a full on andfull breakfast in the morning and I'll have
my coffee. I do like todo my stretches and stuff, like right
(12:07):
after a forty five I've found thatlike when I do my stretches after forty
five, I get less migraines andmy hips feel a lot better because I
do like a lot of sitting andthen the picnics take a big toll on
my body. So stretching, justas wonders if you actually do it,
is so important. Yeah, Likewhen I actually started incorporating it, it
really changed, like my body, how I felt like everything. But you
(12:33):
know, when you're stressed, areanxious, like all the good things are
all with the window. Yeah,of course those are the first things to
go, the things that you actuallyneed to be doing for you to be
able to do anything for your companyor anyone else. Yeah, And so
when I do my seven thirty orforty five class, you usually home like
eight thirty, So like whilst likemaking breakfast and like doing all that I'll
feed my dogs, poop the dogs, that whole routine. But I think
(12:56):
in general, like my most realisticroutine is like I call it like time
stamps, because I've tried. Ithink it's would have been one of those
things since starting my business that like, I have all the flexibility in the
world because I'm the boss, butthen I'm really hard on myself because I
want to have routine. But thenat the same time, I have this
internal conflict of like I don't haveto have routine. I can be super
(13:18):
flexible, even though I know thatme as a person needs routine. Yeah,
so it's a constant internal battle. But I've established like timestamps, and
I feel like that keeps me sane. So I know that like getting up
at seven is ideal, getting tothe gym by seven thirty is ideal,
Feeding pooping my dogs at eight ish, as close to eight as I can
get for them is ideal. Andthen I don't start work until ten,
(13:39):
and then I just kind of smushmy morning routine in between those hours.
Yeah. So even if you like, you know, no matter what,
this is the time, Yeah, you're starting work. And I feel like
that's so helpful because on days thatI'm not working at the bar, I
feel like I can do that,I can just lolliag for so long doing
my morning routine and just little yeah, when in reality, it honestly just
(14:03):
makes me feel more anxious because I'mlike, Okay, when is this day
actually going to get started? Andyou almost have it all in your head,
all the things that you need todo, and they're just like lingering,
And so I think for me,like knowing I start at ten,
and like even all of my bookingsystems for both of my jobs, like
no one can book a call withme earlier than ten, no one can
book a shoot with me earlier thanten. So like if the earliest I
ever start work is like if Ihave a shoot at ten, I need
(14:26):
to be leaving my house at likenine. But like I always know that
I do not need to even checkin my brain into work until ten,
and so I've really just like createdthese time stamps to basically help No,
like, Okay, we get upat seven, we start work at ten,
we stop working at six, weare in bed by ten, and
so at least I have some sortof consistent structure across the board. Even
(14:48):
though my routine, and my schedulechanges every day. But my dream routine
set out a dream. We allhave one, you know, everybody my
dream. But my dream routine, like when I think of like my most
elevator, like you know on TikTok, when they're like, you know,
be the girl that you as yourhottest self. Yes, my hottest self
(15:09):
is getting up at five forty fiveand she's leaving at six to go to
the six fifteen period of forty fiveworkout and that way. And I'm like
a very like type, a liketwo kind of person. So she's going
to the six fifteen at forty fiveclass done by seven, home by seven
fifteen. She does her thirty minutestretch routine till seven forty five. Then
(15:33):
she feeds the dogs, then shepoops the dogs, takes the dogs for
a walk, and then she makesher iced coffee. She makes her iced
coffee before she eats. Um.Yes, because I'll sip on it,
okay while I cook. Yeah, but I am. I am pairing it
with food though these days. Okay, that's good except for today because I'm
(15:54):
literally having it right now and haven'teaten. That is all right, That
is all right. Welcome to mylife. But I'll have my breakfast and
then at that point I've lost trackof what time it is. Oh,
now from fifteen, I think, okay, seven fifteen, we're home,
we feed the dogs, poop thedogs, and then we that's like eight
ish, So like at this pointwe've done our stretching, taking the dogs
(16:15):
for a walk, it is probablylike nine. Then I take an eye
shower, and then I sit down. I do my skincare routine at my
new vanity table. This vanity tablehas changed my life, and then I
can peacefully at ten am, fullyprepared for the day, done all the
things that make me feel good,my stretching, my walking, my working
out. I've eaten a full breakfast, I've had my coffee. Now she
(16:37):
is fully prepared for a wonderful dayrunning her businesses at ten am. Wow,
that's not too far off from whatyou current. It's not. It's
about an hour and fifteen. Yeah, honestly, I think the only thing
that's more different is the time youwake up. And the reason I want
this routine is that I whether Ihave a photo shoot or if I'm working
(17:00):
out of the house or like whatever, my schedule looks like that day.
I can stick to that routine becausethere is enough time for me to still
leave the house by nine thirty ifI need to, because that's typically the
earliest I have to leave. Andso that's why I'd love to get into
the routine like for that because thenI'm like, Okay, I truly can
commit to that every single day.Yeah, so maybe I'll give it a
(17:21):
shot on Monday five forty five.Girl, I know, yeah, but
I'm going to bed earlier. Ifeel like I think that's a bigger issue
for me though, like a havemore deep rooted issue with my sleep problems.
But we're getting somewhere. She's workingon this. We're working. We
got that sleep hygiene, you know, we're improving. Yes, And it
really is true, like the sooneryou get in bed and like start coaxing
(17:41):
yourself to like just go to bedand you can get up and I know,
like when I go to the gym, when I go for my walks
and stuff, like I do sleepbetter. But also just you know,
reducing that caffeine and take has beenworks. Wonders imagine that it really does.
Yeah, like this stuff actually keepsyou up right, like weird like
me having a Celsius every day atfour is affecting my sleep. What you're
(18:03):
supposed to actually get me cracked outand allow me to sleep at the same
time. Okay, I mean that'show I literally lived for probably like since
college. Yeah, that was trulywhat what schedule you were on? I
mean I think I spent probably sixyears running off of pearre adrenaline. And
now I'm like having to run offof like discipline, and that's like been
a very rude awakening for me.I can't believe that there was a time
(18:26):
when I didn't need caffeine. Likewhen I was nineteen twenty, I wasn't
even into it. And I'm likeshe's like SIPs coffee and I'm like,
how because now every day it's Ilook forward to it's so much. Well,
the people who like tell me likethey don't drink coffee or macha.
I'm like, so when you wakeup, what do you do? Like
(18:48):
where does your energy come from? And like when does the day start?
Like like what's I feel like it'svery ritualistic, Like yeah, like because
I started drinking coffee in high school. Yeah, and I've been I'm not
even exaggerating, like a full blownaddict since high school. Like we don't
just have one coffee a day.We have Up until this year we had
three to five minimum. Yeah, this past year we've gotten down to two.
(19:11):
And that is huge, And I'mso proud of you because I mean,
coffee is so good for you,but anything in access is definitely And
as a high functioning anxiety, highstress person, yeah, she's adding fuel
to the fire. Oh yes, yeah. But I feel like that our
morning routines are also very true towho we are because you are such like
(19:33):
a doer and I feel like ifyou're sitting here like meditating and you know,
cleaning and all this stuff, whereaslike there's actual, you know,
boss things that need to get done, you would go crazy because you're like,
I'm not going to mess around withthis before I make sure all of
this is taken care of. Yeah, And I feel like, for a
(19:53):
long time, my anxiety was sobad that like I couldn't even fathom like
wait up and not immediately addressing workbecause my anxiety, Like my anxiety got
me up in the morning, andI would be so stressed about like people
emailing me or like needing me,or like my team having questions that like
I physically couldn't do anything else becausethe anxiety was so harsh that like the
(20:18):
only thing I could do to relieveit was immediately dive into work. So
I spent like the first three yearsrunning my business of like wake up and
then business, and then once Igot started, I couldn't stop. So
then I spent the whole day workingand then I was just brain dead at
the end of the day, sothen I would just go to bed.
So like I had absolutely nothing wellness, Like I wasn't taking care of myself
whatsoever. But I feel like you'vekind of like forced me and inspired me.
(20:41):
Inspiration and force have brought me toa point where I'm like, Okay,
the more I can take care ofmyself, it the better I feel.
And then I just know in general, because I was really running myself
into the ground that like the moretime I can dedicate to myself and like
take care of myself, the betterI feel, and the better I could
show up for everyone else, whichI feel like we all know in theory
and it's easy to say, butlike I've been truly trying to apply it
(21:02):
for the past year, because Imean I hit a breaking point. So
I feel like now I'm like,Okay, well I'm not going to be
able to show up in a goodway for work if I can't go to
the gym. And so that's actuallynow relieved my anxiety knowing like, Okay,
why can handle doing this for mefor an hour if it means I
can do a better day at work. But that's a whole another can of
work. I feel like that's thestep that's reality though, Like starting a
(21:26):
business is so hard, and you'rejumping into the unknown and your livelihood is
on the line and you're building yourown stuff. So that's the It's not
gonna be like you get to havethis your cake and eat it too,
where you're like taking care of absolutelyeverything. Of course, it's possible to
get to build it first to thenreap the benefits. Yeah, of course.
(21:47):
And I'm not saying it's impossible.Of course, you can start a
business and take care of yourself. But it's going to be it's going to
be so hard from any direction thatyou look at it, like it's just
not always pretty and meditations and machaand morning walks and like sometimes it just
and I started preached that, likeI truly think that's a misconception. Like,
again, this is probably like awhole other topic, but I do
(22:08):
think that's a misconception on social media, is that like when you work for
yourself, then you can't have thisbeautiful morning routine. You can't have this
macha that like you you know, roll up your windows in your high rise
apartment and then you go to freakingpilates with your three hundred dollars membership and
like you do all these things andlike, yeah, maybe eventually, like
it's been four years and I'm justnow like taking have like an actual normal
(22:29):
work schedule where I'm working less thanforty hours a week, like and that's
wild for me. And it's just, yeah, it's a huge misconception,
and I think like we're truly soldthis like false idea of like working for
yourself. You can be your ownboss and make your own schedule, and
like you can, but like Ipersonally don't think that you can make it
happen if you haven't like put inthe hours in the front end. Yeah,
(22:51):
like I wouldn't have the businesses Ihave had I not worked so hard
in the beginning. And like, yes, it was probably a very unhealthy
extreme. Yeah, but I trulydon't believe I would how the businesses I
have had, I not put thatput those hours in then. Yeah,
especially because you were just doing thebest that you could at that time.
Yeah, you know, you wereyoung. You were coming off of knowing
nothing about starting a business and justdoing it all yourself, so you didn't
(23:15):
have all this back in knowledge andpeople to delegate it, and it was
all just you. So it's likeyou were running on fumes and you were
running on a dream sister like youwere. Yeah, the circumstances are so
different now, but we can Imean, I'm down to talk to that,
talk about that on a whole episode. But when we talk about morning
routines, obviously, I think weboth kind of mentioned like, what like
(23:36):
the things that we have to do, like the even in the on and
off morning routines that we have.We both said like, but I have
to do this for my sanity,Like what are your like absolute non negotiables
for pure sanity and survival? Arewe talking daily? Are we talking just
morning non negotiables? Both? Okay, So I think mourning non negotiables a
(24:00):
salute must. I'm not gonna saymust because obviously there's always days where you
can't do something where you know you'recatching a flight or Yes, my ideal
non negotiable for my morning would definitelybe meditation, and I will link my
favorite one that I do every day. These are like our non negotiables that
we sometimes negotiate. Yes, exactly, are negotiable, non negotiable, perfect
(24:25):
episode names are negotiable, nonegotiable.Yeah, definitely in my meditation, I
love it so much. But Imean I think a part of that morning
non negotiable, and just like adaily non negotiable I would say is to
just say three things you're grateful for, and just because I feel like that
puts you in the mindset of likeseeing what you have instead of what you
(24:48):
don't. Yeah, just being justbeing grateful. I feel like it's such
a powerful emotion and I feel likeyou truly can't say those things without being
like wow, like yeah, likeyeah. Like I spent the night at
SAO last week and she was doingher morning routine as she does, and
but it was like a dress upday at work, and so she was
like in full blown like beautiful lingerie, but she was doing her handstands,
(25:10):
so she's like in this beautiful lingerieupside down in her handstands and adam nowhere.
She was like, three things you'regrateful for go and just put me
on the spot. And then Iwas like, I am grateful. Like
one of them was like I couldwork from home today, and I was
like, I am grateful I cando that. Like, yeah, we
did make a difference, but itwas also just like I feel like the
epitome of our relationship right there.Iconic, so iconic, but it really
(25:33):
does make you look at like yourday from a half full perspective instead of
half empty, because of course we'rebombarded with problems all day and that's going
to happen. But I love agood grateful moment, so meditates and gratefuls.
What else I feel like vacuuming.I feel like when you said,
like vacuuming's got to be part ofit, and like this girl loves I
(25:56):
mean she back into least twice today when I'm over there. Yeah,
one hundred percent. I will sayvacuuming is probably one of my non negotiables
every day. I mean that onany damn home is happening, it's happening
that that is a true no forme, Like it's like not even like
for the dirtiness, it's for theroutine. Yes, it really just makes
me. I like it, Honestly, I do really like it. Like
(26:19):
if I didn't, I wasn't ableto do it and the floor was just
clean, I don't think I wouldenjoy it as much. So it's very
therapeutic for me. So vacuuming isprobably my third or my second, sorry,
my second, and then I thinkmy third would probably be I guess
(26:40):
daily and morning would be working outor some type of movement, because it's
just it does it all. Really, it helps you feel better, it
helps you look better, it helpsyou get something done and just be on
a momentum of some sort. Andespecially living by myself, I feel like
to have that outing and go outand see people. It's just that's another
(27:02):
way it's good for my mental healthas well. It's like your appointment that
like you have somewhere to be,yes, exactly, and it's just it's
nice to work towards the goal andit's therapeutic and just wins all around.
With the gym. Yeah, likeyou, there's truly no negatives, like
it does wonders that's well, Idon't know. I guess you could probably
(27:23):
do too much. Yeah, it'slike I was like, I don't even
know if you could over do that, but yeah, you probably could.
Actually, what are your three daily, morning and all day non negotiable negotiables?
My negotiable non negotiables are. Ithink going to working out now has
become really important because for a whileI really put like my fitness and health
(27:44):
like on a back burner with allthe trauma of starting a business. And
I feel like since I've been reallylike dedicating the time to it and being
intentional about it, it has justmade me feel so much better. And
I can tell, like even onthe days, like I probably work out
now like at least three times aweek, ideally four or five, but
I can really tell the difference onthe days that I don't work out,
I'm like, okay, Like mymood was off, like everything was just
(28:07):
off. And so I feel likenow, like whether it's a full on
a forty five class, which canbe a lot, like I want to
at least like go for a walkover a run. I really want to
get into runnings. I feel likethat's just like a quick and easy thing
that you can do that makes youfeel good without it being like a hit
workout, So I think, like, yeah, working out is definitely one
of them. Now for sure.I don't even want to say my coffee
(28:29):
because like I feel like that's noteven like a step. But like I
literally, yeah, I have neverthat's a lie. I went. I
did a three month no coffee forlike the summer last year, and it's
so bad. Yeah, I'm likecaffeine, maybe just caffeine, yeah,
Because I can do machas, butthey have to have like a moment,
like I have to have like ithas to be like midsummer, and I
(28:53):
like I can't switch to macha's likepermanently unless it's like summertime, because I
feel like in the winter we justget way too much like seasonal depression.
Like it's just not a good timefor me to be trying to like pull
back on my addiction. Coffees areactually so good for you, there's so
much I'm not a scientist, sodo not ask me what the actual benefits
are, but there's so much stuffcoming out about how coffee is so good
(29:18):
for you. Yeah, And I'mlike at the point of addiction, where
like if I don't have a coffeeby noon, I'll have a full on
like caffeine and headache. So Ilike truly do need it. That's why
I feel like it's not even likepart of my non negotials at this point.
It's like clinical, Yeah, it'sjust a part of who you are.
Yeah, I feel like those.I mean, I guess coffee in
the gym, and then I feellike I'm like a calendar to do list
(29:41):
early. So I do feel likeI maybe not even like like an intentional
moment of sitting down and reviewing myworkload, which I would love to do
more intentionally, but I think ingeneral, just like sitting down reviewing my
workload, being aware of what's goingon, because with two businesses now and
then trying to have a social lifeand like put that, you know,
put more intention into that. It'sbeen a lot. And so I do
(30:03):
feel like in general, like I'mbig on time management and just awareness,
you know, being aware. SoI would say, you know, just
planning for the day ahead, theweek ahead, the month ahead, my
next ten years of life. Coffeein the gym. Y'all should see this
woman's calendar. It's especially horrifying rightnow because my birthdays next month. She
sends me invites for coming to pickup my dog for me, and I'm
(30:29):
like, yes, I will bethere. I'm like, yes, going
to this, except well, let'sjust if it doesn't exist in my calendar,
it truly doesn't exist. And becauseI have the two businesses now,
I have to even account for likemy drive time, because if I'm driving
to a shoot, like I needmy calendar to know that I'm unavailable for
a call for the other business.Yeah, you have a lot. I
(30:49):
don't blame you at all. Ithink I would one hundred percent if I
hadn't as many moving parts as you, I would have a color coded yeah,
and it's even color coded and Pastel's. I watched this YouTube video on
like color coding your planner because theysaid, like the general default to Google
calendar colors or quite aggressive, hideous. Yeah, and they're they're stressed inducing.
(31:11):
And so I actually have everything amuted color, and like I have
a color core over, like thebills are obviously like an a muted stage,
and like the picnics are like amuted pink and the other Yeah,
it's just it's a thing, LikeI'm big on calendars and planners and to
do list and optimization efficiency and processes. I mean you you are really good
at optimization, Like you always getthings done in the most like makes sense
(31:36):
for a timely Yeah, it reallyeffective way. I guess I should say.
Yeah, it gives me a lotof anxiety to like do things not
efficiently, and I feel like that'ssomething that like, like, I feel
like you've really helped me focus onwellness and I feel like with you,
like by force, I've had tobe like, we have to do this
in the most efficient way. Oh, I actually utilize a calendar now as
of last month, so it's soexciting. I know, I'm like,
(32:00):
hey, what's coming up on mycalendar? What are we doing? We
just functioned so differently looks and we'rewinning us to give visit to you in
LA Like you'd be like I havethese seven things on my list and we
would be driving around town like backtrackingof spending an hour in line here,
and then I'm like, how canyou live like this? It's all up
here, baby, all in thegood old noggat, And I'm like,
well if we go here, thenwell this is waiting we can go here
(32:22):
and this is on the way here, and I'm just flying by the seat
of my end street. But youget it done, like you still get
it done. I do get itdone. I do you get it done.
I might like want to scream inmy car in the middle of getting
it all done because I'm like, what the heck is going on? But
a good car cry never hurts crybaby a. Yeah, I mean I
(32:43):
think that's a really good look intolike our morning routines that we're passionate about,
but then also are very negotiable nonnegotiables that we apply to our daily
light. Yes, talking about thehottest versions of ourselves here what they would
