Linux è un sistema operativo... Ma non è un sistema come gli altri: è un sistema «libero» ed «open source»; ciò significa che non solo potete usarlo senza pagare alcuna licenza ma potete guardare nel suo codice sorgente e modificarlo senza infrangere alcun accordo con il produttore del software...
Ma di quale libertà si parla commemorando il 17 settembre? Si parla, in questo caso, di libertà nell'uso del software...
Tutto ciò premesso, è con immensa gioia che Radio Penisola Salentina, RPS DX TEAM e il LUG (Linux User Group) di Albaredo per San Marco (Sondrio), in collaborazione con la Italian Linux Society (ILS) ed il suo Presidente, Valerio (Boz) Bozzolan, e con il patrocinio del comune di Albaredo, presentano il primo Diploma Radioamatoriale dedicato a Linux, questo fantastico sistema libero, per diffonderne la conoscenza e l'uso tra i Radioamatori di tutto il mondo.
