For our first episode my guest is Keith Jacks of Third Rail Productions, based in Teaneck, NJ. He’s a world-class engineer who’s worked with Najee, KRS One, Michael Bolton, and the late Donna Summer, just to name a few. He’s a graduate of Full Sail Center for the Recording Arts (Full Sail University) in Florida and also studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Keith and I talk about T-R-P, his creation process in the studio, the gear used for various types of projects, the gigs he’s been a part of, building an audience, promoting independent projects, client contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and more…
