F1-update: Dubbelslag Verstappen na dramatisch scenario McLaren, Russell heeft theorie over Red Bull
Max Verstappen heeft zaterdag een dubbelslag geslagen door zowel de Formule 1-sprintrace in Austin te winnen als ook pole-position voor de Grand Prix te pakken. De Nederlander was niet helemaal tevreden over het gevoel tijdens de sprint, al hoopt Red Bull dat de race pace na aanpassingen aan de set-up is verbeterd. George Russell kwam overigens met een andere theorie over het verschil tussen Red Bulls kracht over één ronde en het mindere gevoel in de race. Ronald Vording bespreekt het uitgebreid in een nieuwe F1-update vanuit de paddock. Daarin natuurlijk ook alle aandacht voor het dramatische scenario van McLaren. Oscar Piastri en Lando Norris bleven puntloos na contact, waarna Zak Brown de schuld in eerste instantie bij Nico Hülkenberg legde. Die woorden nam hij uiteindelijk terug, waarna Andrea Stella heeft laten weten dat er na het weekend nog een 'review' van het moment volgt. Tijdens de kwalificatie was McLaren overigens ook nog niet je van het, vooral Piastri worstelde. Tot slot aandacht voor de nogal opmerkelijke actie van Lance Stroll en Yuki Tsunoda die zich beklaagde over Liam Lawson.
