Un ponte che ha fondamenta commerciali e artistiche. Le due città, all'apice della loro crescita, hanno instaurato dialoghi diretti ed indiretti che hanno influenzato diversi campi dell'arte: la pittura, la musica, ma anche le arti applicate.
La mostra "Da Tiziano a Rubens. Capolavori da Anversa e da altre collezioni fiamminghe" è un'occasione incredibile per riattraversare quel ponte. È un progetto di ampio respiro che restituisce a Venezia due dipinti a lungo tenuti lontani dalla città - due quadri con alle spalle storie rocambolesche -, e con questa occasione racconta dei rapporti tra due mondi così lontani e al tempo stesso così vicini.
