Speaker 1 (00:00):
Did you know that one aspect of being a really
successful trader is to surround yourself with other successful traders,
other like minded people from all around the world who
are out there achieving greatness in their trading and in
their lives in general. Let's talk about that really important
topic and more right now, Hey the traders, it's Andrew
(00:28):
Mitchum here at the Forst Trading Coach with the video
and podcast number six hundred and fourteen. Do they don't
want to talk about a topic that does not get
discussed very much. Is a really important topic though, and
it can make or break you're trading. It's been part
of a community, surrounding yourself, whether it's in person or online,
with other like minded people, people out there who are
(00:50):
trading the same way as you. People are out there
who are trying to achieve things in their life in general.
And I think that's such an important part of and
I know that for you that's also really important. And
the reason I know that is that a couple of
weeks ago, I sent out a survey to people who
are not my clients, So people who have written to
(01:11):
me over the years asking for help or downloaded ebooks
being on webinars, etc. But have not yet joined. And
one of the questions was all about trading community, and
it actually had the highest single response with one answer,
and it was an overwhelming majority of people. In fact,
it was seventy six percent of all respondents said that
(01:33):
being part of a community of traders just like them
and other traders from around the world is the thing
that they are missing out on and the thing that
they value most. Seventy six percent of all respondents said yes,
it's very, very important to me. And so it got
me thinking because one of the things that we really
(01:54):
pride ourselves on here at the Frest Training Coach is
our community. And there's a number of ways that we
do that we keep in touch with people. And when
I think about how people interact and I look at
other ways that people interact online, what we do is
vastly different. I see. The trouble is out there most
(02:16):
social media, let's say you're full of keyboard warriors out there,
it's full of quite honestly idiots at times majority probably,
or people who are out there telling people what they
should and shouldn't do, or people are taking advice from
people who don't really know what they're doing, and they're
all out there with an agenda of not really trading.
(02:39):
And the other thing I used to be part of
years ago and I haven't for a long time now
is other forums. And the problem is that it gets
overtaken by some clown who thinks they're going to dominate
the forum and they know more than everybody else, and
a discussion disc gets out of hand and it arguing
starts and it's just or someone comes up with a
(03:01):
good idea and a strategy and you look through that
post several threads later and it's completely changed because someone said, oh,
we need to add this, and I don't like that
we need to do that, and it just all implodes.
It always does. And so what I find out there
in general social media people are lonely. They think they're
part of a group, but they're not. They're just people
(03:22):
are lonely. Trading by yourself, whether it's at home, on
your laptop somewhere, it's lonely. How many people there listening
to this right now? How many of you have friends
who honestly know what you're doing as a trader. Do
they think you're gambling? They think you're just throwing your
money away to have a husband and wife, kids, you know,
parents that just think, oh, you're just wasting your time
(03:44):
looking at these charts and doing silly things and gambling
your money. And so as a result of that, you
don't have anybody to contact, you don't have anybody to
speak to. Now, that's all what ninety five percent of
people do. What we do is massively different. The forum
site is full of traders from right around the world,
one hundred and nine countries, all out there trading one system,
(04:06):
one strategy, all helping each other, multiple sets of eyes
looking at the charts at the same time, all helping
each other to achieve that same goal of being a good,
consistent or great and consistent forest trader. And of course
we look at other markets as well, not just forusts.
You know, we've just taken sell positions on cryptos this
week and you would have noticed that a lot of
(04:28):
those are coming down. We've got buyer positions on some
of the US in indices and you'd have noticed that
they're going up. And of course we've got metals et
cetera as well, and we're all out there doing the
same thing. We're all out there helping each other we've got.
We've got like minded people right around the world. As
I mentioned, trading one strategy. We don't have people in fighting,
(04:51):
we don't have like clans and idiots in there dominating.
It just doesn't happen. And so it's a great way
for people to connect with each other, ask questions. We
have live webinars again when people from around the world
can attend and ask us questions about trading and watch
us trading and discuss trades in real time. So that
(05:12):
whole community aspect is really important. We have other groups
that are geographically focused that people can get together if
they wish to, like physically in person, if they wish to,
And so there's all these additional items that we provide.
Of course personal mentorship and personal tutoring as well. And
so the community that we have developed over sixteen plus
(05:36):
years is massive and I don't think you can underestimate
how powerful that is. And as I mentioned from the survey,
they are sent out to people who are not clients.
Seventy six percent of people said it was really really
important that they become part of a community. Now, obviously
people out there are not part of a community, and
that becomes an issue. You know, there's loneliness, there's self doubt,
(05:58):
there's all these things. There's no one to ask. And
when you think about what we offer, it's not just
the strategy. Now, the strategy works, we know it works,
has been proven for years and years. It's the daily
information that we provide that works. The indicators that we
have here and that works. All of that works. But
there's more to it than that, and that community aspect
(06:18):
of being able to talk to someone, ask someone questions,
see what they're doing in real time, and follow along
while you're learning, while you're training. Your eye cannot underestimate that.
So if you'd like to know more, have a look
at my webinar. If you've not been on it, I'll
put a link to it here. It's about thirty minutes long.
You can join it at any stage. It's an on
demand webinar. Have a look at that. If you like
(06:39):
to book a call to talk to myself or one
of the team, I'll put a link here as well.
And if you're out there looking for a very very
good broke up, I can highly recommend Blueberry Markets. Again
when it comes to maybe not so much community, but
when it comes to support, and knowing who to go
and contact and that type of thing. Blueberry Markets are
absolutely fantastic, great support platform on the Mediterrade of fire
(07:02):
platform here behind me with multiple markets as mentioned, cryptos
and indices and metals commodities as well as the obvious
forest markets as well. I'll put a link to Blueberry
Markets here as well. So that's it for this week.
Do not underestimate the power of being a community and
having like minded people, you know, whether it would be
the trading or just like minded in general. People are
(07:22):
out there trying to achieve things, keep them with their
bodies healthy, keep fit families, whatever it is that you do.
We're all out there trying to do that same thing
and better ourselves and better our communities and better each
other and help you know where to find us. Have
a look at the webinar or contact us directly if
you need some help. We'll like to come and join us.
(07:43):
