Speaker 1 (00:56):
Hallelujah. Welcome my friends in studio here. This is Michael
Bash and we are alive. And I am so thankful,
so happy. I am so happy you here today. As
we get into the Word of God, the authority and
power of God's would, yes, yes, the power, yes, the
(01:19):
Word of God cannot be stopped. Somebody trying to apologize
for the Word of God is like an aunt trying
to defend a tank. I'm going to start off with
this Derek Prince quote here and teaching. As regards to
the interpretation of Scripture, there is only one authorized interpreter,
(01:40):
the author himself. There are quite a number of books
bearing my name as the author. If anyone is not
quite certain what they mean, I would be the best
person to consult because I know what I meant. I
may not have said it as clearly as I should have,
but I do know what I meant by what I wrote.
If we want to know what any passage of Scripture means,
(02:01):
we must likewise consult the author. So this is so important.
I don't know if we really have this down because
I keep meeting people Christians, so called Christians, most of
them back slidden Christians, to just be honest who love
to just say, well, the Bible was written by men. Well,
(02:23):
you're not obviously in obedience with God. You're looking for excuses.
And the Bible is God's actual, manifested form for us.
This is the perfect word of God. Jesus Christ, the
word of God. He's one with his word. That's like
level one baby steps ABC and then you go on
(02:45):
from there. And that's where these Derek Prince books are
so good because people need They don't listen to good
old Macbierstrom, like, well, who you think you are? Get
boned dingy bingie. Well then you have this guy with
a British accent that's knows this stuff, and he's like,
I will tell you the truth of God's world. I
(03:07):
know what I meant by what I wrote. If we
want to know what any passage of scripture means, we
must likewise consult the author. He is the only one
who was authorized to interpret scripture. Peter says, knowing this first,
that no prophecy of scripture is of any private interpretation,
(03:28):
For prophecy never came by the will of man, but
holy men of God spoke as they were moved or
born along by the Holy Spirit. Wow, I've never heard
that translation before. But moved could also be borne along
by the Holy Spirit. So every day we get to
be in the position where we've got to pass basic training.
(03:52):
You've got to get the basics down about what it
means to be a Christian, what it means to be
having faith in God. And if you can't even pass basics,
don't expect God to butt you in any kind of office,
of any type of leadership or authority. I mean the
really cool, fancy stuff that's for the people that went
(04:15):
through the training, and all of us get to do this.
All of us get to read the Word of God
day by day, movement to movement. Hallelujah. No individual can
interpret scripture. Only the Holy Spirit is authorized to do that.
Peter agrees with what Paul pointed out. The authority behind scripture,
the source of its inspiration is the Holy Spirit. Amen,
(04:38):
I'm gonna stop there, get into Philippians. Thank you very
much for joining us. This is Michael Bashom for the
Spear Force podcast on Spotify, iTunes. iHeart. You can leave
us a review. You can even leave a Yelp review.
If you really want to help us, you can give
us a Yelp review. Most of all, we appreciate your prayers.
(05:00):
And there's a lot going on with veterans with the
I used to call them the proud mountain folk, but
now due to the reading of the word, where's my Bible?
How dare I go live without my Bible? What thanks to?
I was in here last night doing a show, so
(05:22):
it's kind of we're bouncing between microphones and cars. But yeah,
I mean there's a lot going on up here in
the mountains, and prayer is the main thing, the main
reason I'm still here. I've seen a lot of warriors
come in and go. Main reason I'm still here is
the Word of God and your prayers, the mercy of
(05:45):
God actually, because I mean, I've seen so many warriors
lose their faith, backslide, steep into just outright rebellion, and
then actually physically die. I've had people that I worked
with on the mission field that I stood shoulder to shoulders,
shield the shield on the battlefield of Harbin, China in Taiwan,
(06:12):
in many a battlefield, and it doesn't I don't say
that with joy or like, hey, I'm a survivor, but
I have a whole bunch of warrior weapons and soldier
ammunition for other warriors if you want any. I mean,
I don't know what to do with all this stuff.
I've got like warehouses of it in heaven. If you
(06:33):
need it, sign up today. All you have to lose
is your entire identity. So I've been going through First
Samuel and really getting into the anointing. I just recorded
something in the car because it's just it's the word
is so loud, and you need to read this prayer.
(06:53):
I would recommend every day Hannah's prayer. I'm not going
to read the whole thing to you, but the way
that this woman talks, the Lord maketh poor and maketh rich.
He bringeth low and lifteth up. He raiseth up the
poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar
(07:13):
from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to
make them inherit the throne of glory. For the pillars
of the earth are the lords, and he has set
the world upon them. He will keep the feet of
his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness,
for by strength shall no man prevail. You got a business,
You're thinking about making some money you think you're gonna
(07:34):
be successful, you think you're gonna be all cutthroat and
pushy and shove, and know that's not how to do it.
You're going to quote these words that by strength no
man shall prevail, and God will uphold the humble. And
when you read this and you realize that the anointing
(07:55):
that destroys the yoke is all throughout the Holy Bible,
throughout the Psalms, throughout the things that Jesus spoke. When
he quoted the Psalms, it started with one woman's prayer
in the midst of a faithless and wicked generation. You
go to your town supermarket, you go to the library's
(08:16):
town city hall, you look at the internet, you look
at the way things are. We are in a wicked generation.
It's not being self righteous to acknowledge that people don't
want God in their life, not more than they're used
(08:36):
to or comfortable with. This show is about getting so
into God and letting God get so into you. And
I haven't. I'm not where I want to be. I've
definitely overcome some things, but there is so much work
to do when it comes to getting into Bible faith.
There is so much fun work It's like finding out
(08:57):
about protein and going to the gym. Nobody told me
about If you eat lots of protein and then you
go work out, you're gonna get like buff like Arnold Schwartzenek.
I just came from the gym.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
Excuse me, I need to get my I need to
get my delicious protein shake.
Speaker 3 (09:31):
Warriors, you must train. You must drink of the word morning,
day and night. Every great warrior starts out drinking the milky's.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
Join the spell force. Get the milkies of the word,
so that then you may grow strong like pool and
you can read the meat of the word.
Speaker 4 (09:57):
Also, Yes, hallelujah Ah.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnash a gnasheth
upon him with his teeth.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
The Lord shall laugh at him, for.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
He sees that his days coming. The wicked have drawn
out the sword and have bent their bow, and cast
down the poor and the needy, and to slay such
as be of upright conversation. Their swords shall enter into
their own heart, and their bows shall be broken. When
(11:01):
you go back to Samuel's mommy, she said the exact
same thing.
Speaker 5 (11:10):
The bows of.
Speaker 1 (11:11):
The mighty men are broken.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
Amen. They that stumbled are girded with strength. I am
Optimus Prime, and I am here to read the Word.
Ever since I left the auto box and I decided
to join the Kingdom of Heaven via the Spirit Force,
I started reading the Word every day.
Speaker 5 (11:37):
All right, hallelujah.
Speaker 1 (11:40):
That was fun. So it's it's amazing. I literally just
opened to the Psalms and my eyes fell upon an
exact quote, an exact quote from the Prayer of Hannah,
exact a mundo. So all you mommies out there, you
have an important part to play. Like all the of
(12:00):
the drama and the soul versus David and David is
I will not strike down the Lord's anointed and all
the things. And know that Philistines, I mean, first, Samuel
ends on kind of a sad note for Samuel thirty
one eight through thirteen. I won't read it at all.
But I just finished the whole book, and I'm not
(12:22):
going to read it word for word, not right now.
Maybe another day we do read. I mean, that's why
this this podcast is a little verbose, because we do
go through chapters of the Bible books of the Bible,
chapter by chapter. Hey Christy Johnson, Hey lo, Yeah, whoo,
Christy Johnson. But between reading a chapter of Samuel or
(12:47):
Chronicles or Kings, what's after Samuel's Like Kings are chronicles.
I'm just reading through the whole thing, and i have
to get out of the midst of this faithless generation
with all the hubbub but bad decisions and people facing
the consequences for their bad decisions, and get back into
that anointing where where it's Hannah's prayer and it's it's
(13:09):
David's prayers. The steps of a good man are ordered
by the Lord, and he delighteth in his way, you know,
Psalm thirty seven. Though he fall, he shall not be
utterly cast down, for the Lord to pull with him
with his hand. We've got to let the Word uphold us,
the word of God. The hand of the Lord will
come through this word and will uphold you in your
(13:32):
day to day life. As you're driving your car, you'll
be reminded to speak in tongues and don't speed, and
and maybe call somebody pray with them, Maybe maybe start
another business. Maybe there's like problems that you're facing and
the Holy Spirit's giving you the ideas the solutions, Like
for our car rental business, it's it's almost more of
(13:53):
a ministry than a money making thing. But it's very
meaningful to help poor mountain folk that are getting out
of their poverty. Done and my wife's divorce, me, I
got my dog dad, and my truck's broke down, and
I mean you got to break off and get them
in the Bible and say He raises up the poor
out of the dust. I mean that's where those that's
(14:14):
where Samuel's mommy really came in real handy. And then
all the rest of this hubbub and oh yeay yay,
the drama and the Jews and they're fighting of the
twelve tribes of Israel, yay yay yay, and they're fighting
each other non stop. Hey, hey, well, what we really
(14:36):
need in these mountains is not more cars, although I
would gladly receive a car. We're gonna set up our
Donatable Car Foundation, and God's good timing to help these people.
But the Lord gives you ideas like I might have
a jeep that needs to be fixed, and then so
and so doesn't have no kaiosh, but they've got a
(14:58):
friend who knows how to fix japes, and so next thing,
you know, I mean, instead of calling people up and
fudging and fussing. I pray. I pray over my business,
I pray over the ministry, I pray over the different
people that are in desperate needs sometimes of just getting
(15:20):
freedom from all kinds of mess. And I mean that's
pretty much what we do, is we pray, and then
the Lord he is able to do the thing that
I cannot do very well. And the answer is just there,
(15:42):
And he was just waiting for us to pray and
ask him, and then he does it. He's already paid
the price for your sin. I mean, he can pay
the price for a car that needs to get fixed
in Jesus' name, Can I.
Speaker 5 (15:54):
Hear her name?
Speaker 1 (15:55):
Man? Are you nailing with something like that? Oh? I
don't got time to read the Bible. Sorry, I got
to run. I've got a hundred million problems to fix
by myself. You're like this little ant running around trying
to build the city. It's just silly and and God
is not afraid of our mess. Otherwise he wouldn't have
chosen the people that he chose. I mean, hello, look
(16:18):
at the people that he picked out. He chose some
pretty messy ones. But instead of getting all like into
the history and dealing with the I'm going back to
the Psalms, then I go to the next chapter. Then
I go back to the Psalms again, then I go
back to the other channel. Then we go to the
New Testament. Of course, don't just stay in the Old
Testament all the time, Hally Elijah. We are in Philippians today.
(16:47):
I'm telling you, the more you get into this word,
and the more you let the word get into you,
eventually the word will swallow up the rest of your life.
And people can argue about doctrine all day. That gets
to be goofy, But it's the question is are you
in this? Is this in you? Is this your life? Now?
(17:09):
People that like to boast beyond the Word, they're like, oh,
I have these revelations, I don't need my Bible. Guess what,
You're going to go to heaven and you're going to
see the Word everywhere. You're going to see giant citadels
coming down from the sky, landing on mountains that people
use their faith to cast into the sea. And those
(17:30):
citadels are going to be emblazoned with not just banners,
but golden words of the Lord and in the Bible.
And you're going to go and visit the places that
the Word spoke of. But these words, it's easier for
heaven and earth to be passed, to be done away with,
(17:51):
then one jot or tittle of this to fail. So
you better be modeling your life around the Bible, I mean,
the word of God. People will then try to fight
the Bible. They'll say, oh, you know, well, the word
is whatever I think the word is. Yeah, that's not
gonna work either. Just I mean, where do you even
start with some of these people. So hallelujah, praise God.
(18:16):
So we are in Philippian's chepdels three runs straight for
the goal. Oki Doki, let's actually rev up. We're on
Rumble Live right now. Se your facts as well, So hallelujah. Finally,
my brethren, rejoice in the Lord to write the same
(18:39):
things to you. To me, indeed is not grievous, But
for you it is safe. Isn't that beautiful? That means
don't be afraid of repetition. People get bored and they're like, oh,
I already know this, No you don't. You think you
know it, then you really don't know it. Kenneth Hagen
was the one that really helped Pastor Mark Hankins to
(19:04):
be set free from the fear of repetition. Because if
you can't do one hundred push ups in a day
because they're boring, and you're like above that, and I'm
a five star general, now I'm a ten star general
in the Spirit Force, I'll just I'll put on new
stars every day instead of doing push ups, I just
(19:25):
add stickers mustars. Well, bless my stars. I still need
to do one hundred push ups a day to pass
the PT exam, to pass the basics, to pass the
basics of this if I still want to be a
disciple today, if I want to be a warrior. Otherwise
you know you're gonna everything else will take the place
(19:46):
of the word and you won't get those ideas that
you need. So it is safe to do repetition, repetition,
repetition with the word, read it again, pray it, pray it,
pray the word, and then beware of dogs. Does that
mean you got to be aware of every needy person
out there that might not be able to keep their
(20:08):
promises or something. No, I promise will pay you next week,
I'll pay you tomorrow. I mean, that's the nature of
the lying spirit we rebuke that in Jesus name. But
it says beware of evil workers, beware of the concision,
for we are the circumcision, which worship God in this
spirit and rejoice in Christ Jesus and have no confidence
(20:31):
in the flesh. That's talking about people that like to
get into like, oh, you gotta still be Jewish. I
got my prayer shawl right there. I blew my show
far this morning. Don't you talk like that to me.
I'm all about him Jewish things not going to get
into circumcision. But people like to make it all about
(20:53):
like did you speak the name of God and Hebrew?
And did you you know, did you clap five times
and sit down two times and turn around three times
and do the hokey poke enough times for God to
actually hear your prayer. Here's what keeps God from hearing
your prayer. Wickedness regarded in your heart. If I regard
(21:14):
iniquity in my heart, then the Lord shall not hear me.
If I'm saying stuff about other people, if I'm backbiting
and instead of praying for somebody, if I'm not forgiving somebody,
then I'm not going to be forgiven. If I'm not
living in this constant flow, the river of life, pouring out,
(21:39):
giving liberally to all men, praying for all men. Anybody
pops in your head, how am I supposed to pray
for everybody all the time? We'll just pray for that
person's pop in your head. How am I supposed to
do that? Just do one of them at a time.
How am I supposed to give and receive at the
(21:59):
same time. Well, you actually open up your hands to receive,
but then you also take time sewing and giving, so
you do do both. And you know, God bless us.
At some point, this chapter in our life is going
to be done, and we're going to be in the
(22:21):
eternal realm with God doing things that we can't even
conceive of right now because the technology doesn't exist yet.
But for us who are operating in the Word of
God and in prayer and releasing the word and speaking
the word and obeying the word, it's going to happen.
You're going to start getting glimpses of this stuff, and
(22:41):
it is amazing. There are missions to be done accomplished
in the spirit that you cannot perceive. You should pay
attention to your dreams, though He will show you in
the dreams. So here we go. Paul's like, though I
might have confidence in the flesh, if any other man
thinketh that he he has whereof he might trust in
(23:02):
the flesh, I am more circumcised. Eighth day of the
stock of Israel.
Speaker 5 (23:05):
Yeah, h.
Speaker 1 (23:08):
Shall I go on of the tribe of Benjamin, A
Hebrew of the Hebrews is touching the law of Pharisee
concerning zeal, persecuting the church, touching the rights. I mean
that was like their badge of honor. So did you
kill any Christians recently? Oh? Yeah, I persecuted that church.
That's like they're like, how to join the club? Thing
still exists. Real Christians get persecuted touching the righteousness which
(23:36):
is in the law blameless. But that what things were
gained to me? Those I counted loss for Christ? Yay, doubtless,
I call I count all things but for loss for
the excellency of the knowledge of Christ, Jesus my Lord,
for whom I have suffered the loss of all things,
and do count them but dung that I might win
(23:56):
Christ and be found in Him. Not having mine ownrighteousness
which is of the Law, but that which is through
the faith of Christ. The righteousness which is of God,
by faith, that I may know him in the power
of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings, being
made conformable unto his death. I mean, can we just
like stop there and be.
Speaker 5 (24:15):
Like, oh what.
Speaker 1 (24:19):
To know him? Which also, by the way, means obeying
him in the Hebrew. You know something that you do,
you're doing the word? Which word? All of it, whichever
one the Holy Spirit shows you to do, he will
work through you. And the power of his resurrection, the
(24:40):
mighty power that works through us, that raised Jesus from
the dead. It's more powerful than the power of creating worlds.
I mean, snapping your fingers and speaking the right words
and creating a planet and terraforming Mars or terraforming a planet.
Less awesome than raising up Jesus from the dead after
he had become sin and paid for all of our
(25:01):
sins in hell. Wow. And if you're going through stuff,
guess what you get the fellowship of his sufferings. So
you get to cash in. Even the bad, sad stuff
is cash in. Point, you're gonna milk that for all
it's worth. Oh so and so committed suicide. Oh, this
(25:22):
horrible debt bill came in. Oh, guess what you're gonna
milk that for all it's worth. Because the fellowship his
sufferings being made conformable unto his death. This is the
identification with Christ, unto his death. Then if by any
means I might attain to the resurrection of the dead.
(25:46):
I mean, this is the Bible, guys, this is what
we're pressing on towards. And we already have access to that,
not as though I had already attained either were already perfect,
but I follow after if that I may apprehend that,
for which also I am apprehended of Christ. Jesus. You're
(26:08):
caught in this. As a Christian, you should be the
Holy Spirit, but you're also reaching for it. It's almost
like if you were to be able to never be full,
and you had this amazing feast in front of you,
and rather than like how most people, you know, they
eat their burger king or they eat their McDonald's, and
(26:30):
then they're full, and then they feel gross, but then
they get hungry again and they've got this addiction to
junk food. But instead of that, you get to keep
coming back and keep coming back and keep coming back
to the most pure delicious sound, doctrine, the pure living
Word of God, and you never get full because inside
(26:51):
of you, well, there's a way that you can imagine
a portal inside of you where you're just dropping treasures
in through the word, confession of the word, listening to
the word, believing the word, obeying the word, and your
storehouse in heaven is filling up. I mean, picture like
(27:14):
Fort Knox or just an unimaginably gigantic cave within a mountain,
and then you've got like a whole mountain range of those,
and you're just getting these treasures in you and they're
getting deposited in those storehouses, and then when you need them, boom, healing, finances, miracles, protection.
(27:41):
You don't walk around with it all day showing it off,
but it's there for you. That's your inheritance in Christ,
and you can have anything as long as you are
in alignment with the Word, which is why it's so
important to keep getting it in so we know what
the Word of God says, because faith begins where the
Word of God is understood, is known. So you can't
(28:05):
have faith for stuff that you don't even know you're
supposed to have. But this is big I mean, you
are reaching for this and we're not storing up treasures
in heaven. I mean my car, God bless it. I
thank God we have good cars, new cars, businesses. Thank
God for our LLC that we've got now. But that's
not me. In fact, it's really not me. I own it.
(28:27):
It's like a separate entity that we're building. It's pretty interesting.
It's quantum. I mean, having an LLC is like a
quantum paradox. It's really interesting. There's a spiritual aspect to that.
But I no longer identify with Michael Basham. I identify
with Jesus Christ, and I come under that leadership and
(28:52):
it's a kingdom and it's a government, and he set
up a church and five full ministry gifts and the
shepherds and the pastors, and you know, I've got Pastor George.
I was just listening to him teaching this morning. It
was a recording on the Victory Channel. But I also
come under other authorities, and I'm responsible. And because I
(29:14):
am responsible to check in with other people, other people
also are responsible to check in with me. And when
there's something that's out of line, I have to say
no and be the guy to have the little conversation
with people, and you most of this is done in
the spirit. Don't don't get all culty like, oh, we
got to have this church where you know, you show
(29:35):
up at every meeting every night, But there there is
a place for that. And I think what I'm seeing
more often is in this spirit, there's a lot of babies.
There's a lot of children in the spirit, and they
need to go back to kindergarten. And you might, if
(29:56):
you want to retain some ego man pride. Think of
it like going back through basic training as a soldier
and if you can't do those hunder push ups and
run ten miles and then guess what time to retire
because we don't have grandpause leading the battle. At some
point the throne of Saul is passed to David, and
(30:21):
then it's at some point the throne of David is
passed to Solomon, which I'm very interested in reading because
there's a lot of treasures that we've glossed over about
Solomon's throne and about the temple that he created under
God's direction, and that temple is coming back and it's
(30:41):
actually a good thing. It's not a bad thing, even
though it's a sign of the end, and we don't
have to have the Temple to talk to God or
the arc of the Covenant. But that's all going to
be revealed as what it actually is. There's some really
fascinating secrets that Solomon attained before he fell, before you
(31:02):
turn to the dark side of the false I mean,
the Star Wars Jedi is all based off of fallen Solomon.
That's why there's like a weird feeling you get. You
get into the Jedi and it's like they're kind of
dressed like Bible characters, but I don't know. None of
them are professing Jesus. That's because they're all basically backslid
in Solomon. That's what Jedi are. Jedediah actually means Solomon.
(31:24):
It's a name that means Solomon. All right, let's continue here.
Almost done power the Resurrection. I mean, we are way
beyond just little tricks and how to get rich, how
to do miracles. I was so good yesterday. All seek
(31:44):
their own, not the things that are Jesus Christ is
so true. And that's the theme recently is just like
we live in a faithless generation. Just be honest, Just
be honest. I talked to some ministers and they're like, so,
what are the Bashums doing for God?
Speaker 5 (31:59):
Eh?
Speaker 1 (32:00):
Well, yeah, we're you know, uh so, so are the
bastions baxladen? Are they basically backslain? I was like, I
wouldn't say they're backs Actually, yes, it's that's a really
honest thing to come to the conclusion of, because once
(32:23):
you recognize backsliding, you can get your butt back in gear,
get under authority again. Oh no, don't talk about authority. Well,
my grandfather taught endless teachings about that. Was it misused? Yes?
Is it still misused? Yes? Does that mean you should
have no authority? Everybody just do whatever you want. That's
(32:44):
pretty much the situation with most Baxletten situations. We're getting
back into authority and that's gonna be one of the
foundations of the teaching with God is gonna be And
I would like to probably use these these newer books
(33:06):
like the Manual of Church Discipline, which David Miller left
me with. So are the Bashams they're basically Baxliden Or
like when Worley's family he's talking, he's a searcher for
all kinds of ministries and he's in his twenties and
he's a pastor and he's ordaining other pastors. It's it's great.
It's also something where you know you're gonna need some
(33:29):
some more structure to deal with wildfar. But I ain't
afraid to know Wildfar. I went to David Miller's the
guy that he just ordained, Dennis Andros' house in Tennessee.
Dennis comes out, He's like, you're ready for the demon rodeo?
And I was so exhausted and like feeling nauseous. Actually,
(33:54):
I was like, oh my gosh, am I getting deliverance?
Like demon what? So we were up late doing deliverance
and I went to the bathroom and kind of just
prayed and was like, all right, anything in me needs
to get out of me right now in Jesus name.
But I don't get into all this like whoa, whoa
wow oe wooh, Like get the name as the talk
(34:15):
and get them to do. They kind of did, and
they do to a certain extent. But honestly, after years
of that, you kind of end up learning how to
just get people delivered with the Gospel and not have
to stir up the devil each time. But anyway, I'm
afraid no, Wow, far I wish I had the Ghostbuster's soundtrack.
(34:36):
We Aren't Afraid to Know Wild far bed beird do dude, dude, dude, wow, Okay,
I don't know. I don't want to play worldly things.
Let's take a quick break and we'll come back to
the Wood of God. I actually want to read a
little bit of my grandfather's teachings because I think that
is very needed. So I will be right back in
(34:57):
Jesus name, God willing. Every breath is a gift. Every
word of God we get to read is a present. Hallelujah.
Speaker 6 (35:04):
You're alrighty.
Speaker 1 (36:35):
Then I hold in my hand true and False Prophets
only copy that I've got. I don't have any others.
I'd like to read a few words out of this
just because it's beautiful. Cover too true and false prophets.
Don basham. This is kind of stuff we're producing again.
(36:59):
I think the reason that the Lord let me hear
that demonic voice speaking to me through a deliverance service
Dennis Andros and David Miller were conducting was they these
two guys were very excited that we're bringing these back
into operation. This is pretty interesting. It's basically confronting immorality
(37:34):
in ministry, which I mean, I'm not actually in any
specific office of ministry, just intercession and podcasting. But this
is this is the chapter the Invisible War, which I'm
not going to read all of it. I think I'll
just read a bit, a literally bit the introduction. We
(38:00):
read the introduction in a previous broadcast. But yeah, I
think I will actually get into that a little bit. First,
Let's finish Philippians, because really, what truly happens is you
get the Word in these immoral situations that are excess
of flesh. Eventually they just go away. You just don't
(38:23):
have any room for them. I mean, people don't have
room and time to have affairs when they're so busy
serving God, winning souls, getting people saved, teaching disciples, getting
persecution for the Word's sake. I mean, you want to
know what I really find very exciting about the Word
(38:46):
of Faith community is that they are hated by the
people on the internet, by the other ministries that don't
have that kind of thing, and they just say, well,
you're getting that money because you're greedy. No, you have
the faith for it. I'm going to donate a small amount,
(39:10):
but it'll be more in the future by faith. I
will be contributing something to Jeremy Pearson's Jet fund that
he'd showed on the Sunday Morning service or one of
his teachings recently, and he said, look, this is this
is a ministry machine. This is a preaching machine. I
(39:32):
mean he grew up with actual jets, like how you
actually use an airplane to serve God faster, better go
more places, and that investment to get the word of
God out there, and you have excellent preaching like Jesse
duplantis like the Copeland family and able to plant churches,
(39:54):
plant the Holy Spirit in places that otherwise I mean
the amount of time investment of time to to get
on even first class would be so much wasted time
when the real purpose for jets was not for whiskey
salesmen to sell bourbon, but to help the men of
(40:18):
God minister the Word of God faster. The purpose of
AI isn't for people to play video games and get
addicted to weird, perverted things, whether it's pornography or if
it's an actual like a false twisted reality where you're
listening to someone's voice but it's not really them and
(40:42):
it's just making up whatever you want to hear, and
it's a lie Satanic. But the purpose for AI is
going to be to prosper the people of God and
to help us get the Gospel out, just like the
jet plane, just like the automobile. Purpose of self driving
cars is not going to be to to lock people
in the fifteen minute cities. The purpose for the mRNA
(41:05):
vaccine is not to create superstructures of nanobots in your
body and turn you into a borg cyborg. The technology
exists because we are programmable, Our DNA can be changed,
and the blood of Jesus and the messenger RNA, which
(41:28):
is science. I mean, it's real science. People use it
for wickedness, but I'm claiming that for the Kingdom. All
of this sci fi stuff that is happening around us
at a lightning fast speed, and we're just kind of like, Eh,
what now I gotta pay the bills again?
Speaker 5 (41:46):
Eh?
Speaker 1 (41:48):
Well, guess what Romans eight twenty eight, what does it say,
thank you Lord for Romans chapter eight. Oh my gosh,
I was in Romans eight this morning.
Speaker 5 (41:59):
It was unbelievable, so good.
Speaker 1 (42:11):
And we know that all things work together for good
to them that love God to them who are the
called according to His purpose. So I don't even have
to deal with those things. The things themselves are gonna
work together for good. Because I love God. I am called.
(42:33):
I am the called. Can you say that I am
the called? I am the called according to His purpose?
I thank God that we speak that over our lives,
over our situations, moment to moment, day to day. Back
(42:54):
to Philippians, brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended,
But this one thing I do forgetting those which are behind,
and reaching forth under those things which are before, I
press toward the mark of the prize of the high
calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as
many as be perfect, be thus minded, And if anything
ye'd be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Nevertheless,
(43:18):
where to we have already attained, let us walk by
the same rule. Let us mind the same thing. So
there's a big theme in Philippians about having one mind,
and that's where I'm bouncing between these different ministries. But
as we're reviving the Basha ministry, which is clean from
(43:39):
the last forty years of not having been a part
of anything, everybody that felt like my grandfather was into
some controversy that went over the top. They're probably all
gone now, I think except for that one guy. No,
just kidding, um, I mean it's a good ship. It's
(44:00):
like having like a starship that's just been in storage
and hasn't been used. It has like like only ten
light years mileage on it. That's kind of what it
feels like having the Don Basham Ministries at our at
our fingertips hallelujah and Don Basham Ministry is coming soon.
(44:25):
There is a gifts and go fundraiser for a church actually,
and we don't have like the structure of a flock
and all that, but we have a lot of ministries
we want to partner with when invite to Waynesville and
all around the world. But it's more of like having
a better Sacer sanct Ministry hub for these Derek Prince
(44:48):
materials and primarily I mean kind of like they do
this for starters to emulate the successful things that Derek
Prince Ministries has done and to obviously be blessing them
and promoting these booklets and books and CDs and podcasts.
You know, guys, you know, any podcasters, anybody, maybe we
(45:10):
could get a podcast going. Don Basham Teaching's podcast. But
there are so many teachings of his, so many books,
so many writings, so many articles that I mean, this
is exciting. And the Devil the reason I was saying,
the Devil is really angry about this. I a demon
(45:32):
actually spoke out loud. It was all freaking angry and remembered,
remembered the damage that the Basham family had waged on
the Devil's kingdom for decades, continues to do vicariously through
Derek Prince Ministries. But let's let's not only have one superhero.
Let's have all of the superheroes, all of them rising together.
(46:04):
Cue the superhero music.
Speaker 3 (46:07):
And now Derek Prince Ministry is going strong and yet
looking for another. The prophecy foretold that there would come
in the last days another to ride alongside Derek Prince.
Speaker 1 (46:25):
Nobody better make any anime weird AI thing with this.
I don't want to see Derek Prince on a horse
and then Don Basham riding in.
Speaker 5 (46:32):
But alas.
Speaker 1 (46:34):
It does happen, rising forward towards the Battle of Armageddon,
these warriors of Derek Prince, Derek Prince and Don Basham
rising together fellow brothers in the spirit coming forth. Yes,
it shall happen. The prophecy shall be favilled. All right,
(46:57):
I don't even see. I'm already bored of this vision.
I'm just hallelujah. So the invisible war coming in a second.
Let's finish this. Philippians, three brethren, be followers together of me,
and mark them which walk so as ye have for us,
have us for an ensample for many walk of whom
(47:20):
I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping,
that they are the enemies of the Cross of Christ,
whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and
whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.
For our conversion is in heaven. From whence also we
look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall
change our vital, vile body, that it may be fashioned
(47:43):
like unto His glorious body, according to the working, whereby
he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
Thank you, Lord. I love how Rick Renner always ends
with that cadence. He's always leading into the next sentence.
Rick Renner ministries, man, oh yeah, oh yeah, friends of
(48:05):
the Bashams as well. Alrighty the Invisible War from true
and false prophets by Don Basham year a year. In
the conclusion of his letter to the Ephesian Church, Paul
issues a strong challenge for us to engage in spiritual warfare. Finally,
(48:25):
be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
Put on the full armor of Gods, that you can
take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggles
not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against
the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and
against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
(48:47):
This book will portray a stark and dramatic picture of
the warfare Paul describes. It will both document and address
the tragic problems arising from an invisible war being waged
against Christians and the Church of Jesus Christ. While the
evil effects of that war are plainly visible immorality, deception, betrayal,
wrecked and broken lives, sound familiar slander and character assassination,
(49:11):
the demonic forces creating such havoc are at best only
dimly perceived and seldom opposed. Such ignorance not only assures
our failure to defeat our spiritual enemies. It often leads
to our assisting them in their campaign to destroy us,
the people of God. Jesus said this about such well
(49:31):
meaning but ignorant people, They will put you out of
the synagogue. In fact, a time is coming when anyone
who kills you will think he is offering a service
to God. That is the level of disunity that we
have seen among us. In Micah chapter five, we read
(49:54):
that we talked about that. Jesus prophesied it. It's what
we're seeing. It's ministry fighting ministry, instead of the unity
that you could have where people are they're willing and
ready to help each other, to do things, to assist
(50:14):
each other, to have Pastor George preaching in Texas and
his son preaching Colorado at the same time, that level
of unity that we've seen with the covenanted Brothers of
the Victory Channel. We could have that. But most small
(50:37):
churches slandering other ministries, Most small Christians slandering other Christians.
So you go nowhere. This book will help us to
navigate dealing with the problem of just not facing problems
kind of until they get too bad. Unfortunately, we often
(51:00):
visualize warfare in an unrealistic way. We picture armies of
infantry firing at one another across the no man's land,
each side defending territory it already occupies. But the war
we refer to as not being fought on a recognized battlefield,
with us on one side and the enemy on the
other side. Rather, Scripture reveals that in this invisible war,
(51:20):
the Kingdom of God and the people of God are
the battleground. Even though Jesus Christ did triumph over Satan
on the cross, the devil still stubbornly occupies territory he
is no longer legally entitled to. So what has been
legally imputed to us by Christ's death has not yet
been fully imparted to us. One of the least understood
(51:41):
realities of the Christian life today is this, in this
present age, the Kingdom of God is still partially occupied
by the enemy. That's exactly what Church Paducah pastor Nancy
in World Harvest Church in Kentucky said yesterday. I was
listening to their transmissions. To no small degree, we have
(52:06):
misunderstood the nature of the Kingdom of God. The biblical
account of the nation of Israel and its struggle to
claim its inheritance and The Promised Land is a picture
of the Christian's struggle to claim his inheritance in the
Kingdom of God. God promised Israel the whole land of
Canaan as its inheritance forever. But when it came time
to occupy the land, the Israelites made a disturbing discovery.
(52:26):
While Canaan was a land of unbelievable riches in abundance,
it was also occupied by giants, walled cities, and seven
evil nations larger and stronger than Israel. Thus the Israelites
learned the painful lesson that the battleground is in the
war to claim their inheritance was not somewhere outside of
(52:47):
the Promised Land, but was the Promised Land itself. So
you get that attitude, you go to church, You're like, Okay,
I'm going to battle because you're praying for the pastor
you're praying for the people in there. This is so good.
Like the spies sent by Moses to survey Canaan, we
have glimpsed the wealth of the Kingdom of God, the
(53:08):
riches of his glorious inheritance and the saints. But like
Israel itself, we have often failed to drive the evil
inhabitants out of our land. In fact, the Gospel is
often presented as if our initial commitment to Jesus Christ
were practically the end of the matter. The result has
been that many converts, having been assured by some eager
evangelist that once they accept Christ's savior their problems are over,
(53:30):
discover in dismay that the warfare has only begun. As
my friend Bob Mumford has testified, before I was saved,
all my Christian friends said, Bob, you need to accept Christ.
That will solve all your problems. So I took their
advice and I accepted the Lord. Then I found I
had a whole new set of problems. And I don't
completely agree with accept I believe that you can live
(53:53):
in a level of faith where all things work together
for good. To these is that like, as I read
this book, I'm going to be taking advantage of the
superstructures of faith that are within me about dealing with
(54:13):
problems and in a godly way, dealing with what happened
in my own family in the past, and moving forward.
How we're able to make use of these words, these teachings.
We're not going to be like putting all of these
books on a pedestal and say yes, every single word
in here. Yes, agree. You need to read the Word
(54:35):
for yourself and exercise your faith muscles so that when
you're looking at stuff, you're not just blindly accepting everything,
but know that every single one of these books is
full of treasures that's going to help us to defeat
Satan's kingdom. Not just get out of poverty, not just
get out of debt, not just get healed, not just
(54:58):
learn some new spiritual tactics. See the whole body of
Christ coming together as key, not one man to rule
them all. Yes, Jesus Christ, but not my doctrine is
the best kind of thing. Like the spies sent by Moses,
(55:18):
so we glimpse the wealth of the Kingdom of God
in Canaan, the riches of his glorious inheritance of the
saints Ephesian twent eighteen. But like Israel itself, we have
often failed to drive the evil inhabitants out of our land.
In fact, the Gospel is often presented as if our
initial commitment to Jesus Christ were practically the end of
the matter. So I read that already, But that is
(55:40):
so important to grasp, while acceptance of Jesus Christ as
Savior settles our eternal destiny. Victory over sin in this
life remains to be one, and the warfare for the
ultimate triumph of the Kingdom of God, both within us
and on earth, goes on. So it is within, not
outside the boundaries of the Kingdom of God, that the
(56:00):
battle rages. Man, Thank you Lord, we are in a battle.
Speaker 5 (56:15):
Man.
Speaker 1 (56:16):
It is not within, not outside the life of the believer,
that the struggle for maturity and holiness is waged. So this,
this fight is something that is so real that people
are struggling with and they might look like they're doing
(56:37):
okay on the outside. Everybody needs prayer like all the time.
That great good and evil and great evil can flourish
in the same place at the same time, and that
men can be instruments of God at one minute and
tools of the devil the next. Appear to be two
of the least understood facts of the Christian life. The
(56:59):
following personal sample illustrates the first fact. So this is
going to get into some deep teaching about leadership and
how can this guy be doing healings while he's having
an affair. God isn't like approving of the affair. But
this book is gonna show how there can be all
these different dynamic messes in the actual church that's alive,
(57:25):
that's getting stuff done. And this is true and false profits.
If anybody is joining us, we're reading true and false prophets.
I just started the stream on Rumble, so if you
miss that, we've got about an hour.
Speaker 3 (57:38):
Of fine spiritual guiding, commentary and jokes as well.
Speaker 1 (57:47):
On the Spear Force proadcast on Spotify and Fringe Radio Network.
For years I heard stories of revivals where the glory
of God supernaturally appeared as flames resting on top of
the church building. I often wondered what it would be
(58:09):
like to be in a service where such a manifestation
took place. Then a few years ago, at a church
in a Western state, I was the speaker at a
seminar where some lives were dramatically changed by the power
of God. On the final night, I was sitting on
the platform while the minister led the people into high
realms of worship, waiting for my time to speak. Far
(58:31):
back in a corner of the large auditorium was a
window door that opened directly onto the church parking lot.
Through the window, I suddenly saw brightly blinking red lights,
which indicated that some emergency vehicles had pulled up outside.
Only later did I learn that there were fire engines
(58:51):
responding to a call from neighbors across the street who
saw tall flames leaping into the sky above the church
while the final service was in Progres. With no way
of knowing the flames were a supernatural sign of the
presence of God resting on the meeting they had called
the fire department. One might naturally expect such a spiritual
(59:11):
manifestation to signify a high level of piety among the
church's leaders and members. Sadly, that was not the case.
At the same time I learned about the flames that
drew the fire engines, I also learned the minister of
the church had resigned after it was discovered that he
was engaging in adultery with several female members of his congregation.
(59:32):
Great good and great evil can flourish in the same
place at the same time. Wow Wow, we Christy says,
But when the fullness of the Kingdom comes, Satan will
be chained and casts for a thousand years.
Speaker 5 (59:46):
Amen.
Speaker 1 (59:48):
Until then we will need our Manuals of Church Disciplined
by David Miller. I'm holding here in my hand. We're
gonna need these Don Basham teachings. I mean, I'm doing
what I can. Guys, I'm working like five jobs. We're
building our LLC, we're reaching out to the poor, and
(01:00:11):
we're dealing with soldiers and like suicidal overcoming suicide, some
some people that didn't sadly overcome suicide. We're doing a lot.
We need prayer, we need support. We managed to secure
don bashum dot com. I've spent months uploading those audios.
More needs to be done. Don bashum dot com takes
(01:00:33):
you to all the don Bashum audios and so there
is a fundraiser to get don Bashum ministries online. It
is online, but it's I'm believing and I'm not begging
or speaking to you the audience to be the source
(01:00:54):
of this. I'm the Lord is our source. God is
our source. And I have no idea where all that
money's going to come from. And also the loyal and
hard working staff that we're going to be putting into operation.
I have no idea where that's going to come from.
All I know is God is very resourceful. So if
(01:01:18):
you can be in agreement for that I would much
appreciate in a parable In Matthew thirteen, Jesus describes the
Kingdom of Heaven as a field in which good and
bad seed produce both wheat and weeds, but the owner, God,
the Father, decides to allow both wheat and weeds to
(01:01:39):
grow and flourish alongside each other in the same field
until the harvest. Then the wheat will be gathered and stored,
and the weeds will be burned. Jesus identifies the Son
of Man as the sower of the good seed seed
that stands for the sons of the kingdom, and he
describes the weeds as the sons of the evil one
sown by the devil Verses thirty eight through thirty nine.
(01:02:02):
The separation of the weed from the weeds does not
take place until the end of the age Matthew thirteen,
forty forty one, as the weeds are pulled up and
burned in the fire. So it will be at the
end of the age the Son of Man will send
out his angels, but they will weed out of his
kingdom everything that causes sin, and all who do evil.
There's also scriptural support of the second misunderstood fact that
(01:02:25):
men can be instruments of God one minute and instruments
of Satan the next. And that's the whole scene with
Peter being called Satan. It's worth reading. I love how
my grandfather teaches. I've been listening to a lot of
(01:02:46):
ministers of God recently, and you learn to develop an
appreciation like for fine wine or well, I don't want
to make this about wine, but you know, good food,
delicious food. And my grandfather has a very special way
of preaching that I want to bring back to the table. Hallelujah,
(01:03:07):
And by golly, he is coming back. Resrection, gott.
Speaker 7 (01:03:37):
Stop, got.
Speaker 5 (01:03:55):
Stop.
Speaker 1 (01:04:17):
Oh yeah, I'm not trying to be disrespectful with the music.
It's just the kind of thing that we do. We
have many, many fun ways of discussing the things of
the Kingdom of God. I mean, I'm having fun. I'm
not gonna do something that's like torture and not fun,
(01:04:43):
even if it is a little bit of torture. At
least we can have fun while we creative creative miracles.
They're they're exciting. Well, we got a few minutes left,
so I'm going to read a little more from my
grandfather's true and false prophets, confronting immorality in ministry. Wow,
(01:05:05):
it just feels like every I'm like hanging on every word.
In Matthew sixteen, Peter declares Jesus to be this Christ,
the son of the Living God, and immediately Jesus confirms
his revelation, Blessed are you Simon's son of Jonah, for
(01:05:28):
this was not revealed to you by man, but by
my father in heaven. But only five verses later, when
Peter rebukes Jesus for speaking about his approaching death, Jesus
says to him, out of my sight, Satan, you are
a stumbling block to me. You do not have in
the mind the things of God, but the things of men.
How sobering to discover that Peter the Rock, Jesus's number
one disciple, could serve as mouthpeace for God one minute
(01:05:51):
and mouthpiece for Satan next. I mean you could say
even when we say stuff like getting souls, reading the
word and Jesus saves and then we say like, well
it is what it is and God helps those who
help themselves. No, those are satanic statements. Instead of saying
(01:06:13):
we command that mountain to be removed in the name
of Jesus. And God can do anything. He can even
heal you from that thing. In Jesus name, we resist Satan.
Satan wants to say, oh, you're gonna have to get
a surgery on that. You're gonna have to go into
debt for that. No, I speak to that mountain. I
speak to it in Jesus name. I'm not gonna live
(01:06:34):
in the world anymore. So this is applicable to our
mouths in a day to day moment. It doesn't always
have to be about adultery or embezzling church money. But
this is so useful. This teaching is so useful for us.
When I apply it to the Word of Faith, to
(01:06:56):
my own mouth, I think this is even more useful.
We will have much more to say about men being
mouthpieces for Satan in chapters eleven through thirteen. In one
Corinthians three, we find Paul addresses dressing the same mixture
of good and evil in the Kingdom of God. Having
defined Jesus Christ as our foundation, he adds if any
(01:07:17):
man builds on that foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood,
hay or straw, his work will be shown for what
it is, because the day will bring it to light.
It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will
test the quality of each man's work. If what he
has built survives, he will receive his reward. If it
is burned up, he will suffer loss. He himself will
be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames. Obviously,
(01:07:41):
the gold, silver, and costly stones with which we build
and which emerge from the fires of testing intact refer
to gifts, ministries, and achievements that come from God's grace
at work within us. Just as obviously the wood, hay,
or straw with which Christians also try to build, and
which are consumed in the fires of testing, are works
(01:08:04):
of carnality and demonic deception, the fruit of the devil. Finally,
we see good and evil flourishing in the same person
described in James's teaching about Taming the Tongue. Remember he
is writing to Christians. If you're listening to me, this
is a book that is not available in any Christian
bookstore I have ever seen. And I'm reading this as
(01:08:27):
a statement, as a legal statement to the whole kingdom
of darkness. I am declaring these words out loud. The
bash and family is not backsliden. We're not a bunch
of backsliders that don't regard our father and our mother
with honor. We are honoring our father and our mother.
And this ministry is these books are going to be
(01:08:50):
available to people that are ministers of God who highly
regard the Word of God and aren't just doom scrolling
on TikTok all day. We bless you. Anybody watch here TikTok.
Of course we'll use it, but it's about making the
word available. Ebooks, physical copies. They're coming and I'm not waiting.
(01:09:11):
I just got a whole box of Derek Prince books
and we're using those too, right here in the missionary base.
That's a good look and cover. Man, I like it.
Derek Prince, the authority of God's Word. We read another
page of that earlier in the transmission. But no man
(01:09:33):
contained the tongue. It is a restless evil full of
deadly poison. With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father,
and with it we curse men. Out of the same
mouth come praise and cursing, my brethren. This should not be,
Oh my gosh, so good. According to James, when a
Christian speaks, he can be either the mouthpiece for the
Holy Spirit, who blesses God, or the mouthpiece for Satan,
(01:09:56):
who curses both God and man. James then warns again,
it's a certain wisdom born of bitty, bitter envy and
selfish ambition that is of the devil and produces disorder
in every evil practice. Then he describes a wisdom from
Heaven that is pure and peace loving. Two kinds of speech,
blessing and cursing in the believer's mouth, two kinds of wisdom,
(01:10:18):
one devilish, one heavenly in the believer's mind, good and
evil flourishing in the same place. Let us say it again,
in this present age, the Kingdom of God is still
partially occupied by the enemy. In this present age, the
Kingdom of God is still partially occupied by the enemy.
That is not a comfortable thing to talk about. We
(01:10:40):
don't want to focus on it. But if you're going
to be doing any kind of ministry, you have to
have this understanding that there are such things as infiltrators,
there are such things as fakers. We don't focus on
this all the time, but when you're dealing with like
the kind of ministries that I've been through, God ain't
(01:11:04):
afraid of controversy, is not afraid of dealing with your mess.
He can he can use you in the midst of
your mess, and you can get you through the mess.
And he can break through the mess and get the
job done. And he did that with Israelites, with Jesus
and his disciples. He got the job done. So now
(01:11:24):
we get to step into that done job. But the
church is still oh needs a lot of work, all right.
I mean literally, like we're in a ministry base next
door that has so many messes. I mean basically, it's
just the podcast studio and it's the front TV playing
the Victory channel twenty four hours a day. I actually
(01:11:44):
played the podcast last night. It looked pretty cool. We
should get some more screens. So in this book, we
are attempting to expose Satan's scheme for destroying the Church
of Jesus Christ. Who ever owned this book before highlighted
(01:12:05):
this whole section. Who bought this book? I think my
brother in law, Brandon actually bought this. Somebody bought this online, Yeah,
Brandon Chadwick. So this is actually his copy. I should
probably tell him that I have it. I don't know
(01:12:26):
how I got it. I think Dad was reading it.
It's like the only copy that we have, so I
don't know how much he paid for it, but it
was definitely a used copy of true and false prophets,
and it's extremely useful for what we're doing here. It'd
(01:12:48):
be good to actually read this and do an audiobook.
I would probably not have so much Michael Basham commentary
over so what my grandfather wrote, but it would be
nice to maybe find a way to do some readings
with you guys and let you know, like, Okay, now
we're going into audiobook mode and I can just read
(01:13:11):
a few paragraphs without interruption, it might be the way
to go. So in this book, we are attempting to
expose Satan's scheme for destroying the Church of Jesus Christ
by tempting, provoking, deceiving, and seducing dedicated believers. He seeks
to sear the Christian conscience until all traditional moral and
spiritual values have been forsaken. Though eventually destined to fail,
(01:13:37):
his presently successful strategy includes arousing unholy lusts that drive
believers into immoral behavior that makes a mockery of marriage
and covenantal love. It includes the use of prideful men
who pervert the truth until divine grace becomes nothing more
than amuse toleration from an indulgent God who winks at sin.
(01:14:00):
It includes the vicious and repeated verbal attacks on believers
by other sincere believers who assume they have all the
truth and refuse to accept personal accountability for the destructive
effect of their words. Thus, an arrogant and unseen enemy
continues to bully his way through the ranks of Christians,
exploiting the Church's reluctance to take a moral stand or
raise an indignant voice in protest of his loathsome acts.
(01:14:26):
Sometimes God will show sensitive believers through a dream or
vision the grave pearl peril the Church faces from evil
forces lying in wait. Recently, a pastor friend sent me
a letter in which he shared the chilling account of
one such prophetic dream. The dream, I was standing in
the middle of a small field, surrounded by trees of
(01:14:47):
several tropical varieties. I was not alone. There were twenty
to twenty five other men with me. I have no
recollection of faces. I only knew we belong to the
same group. Then what appeared to be enemy soldiers emerged
from under the trees advancing towards us. We retreated, only
(01:15:07):
to discover soldiers converging on us from all sides. They
herded us together into a tent about thirty feet long
and twenty feet wide. It had a six foot side
wall hanging loose and not quite touching the ground. We
were forced into the middle of the tent and made
to sit on the ground. Suddenly, a new group of
men entered the tent, and somehow it was made known
(01:15:29):
to me that they had come as our protectors. But
instead of remaining alert and watchful, they lay down on
their backs all around the inside of the tent, and
each of them thrust both his feet under the wall
of the tent to the outside. Only then did I
become aware of the terrible activities taking place outside the tent.
All the enemy soldiers disrobed and began to engage in
a mass sexual orgy. Hundreds of bronzed bodies became involved
(01:15:53):
in every sort of sexual perversion right before my eyes.
Ugh Stunned with horror, I watched as at regular intervals,
one of the naked soldiers would race up, grab the
extended feet of one of our protectors, jerk him out
from under the tent and pass him on to one
of the groups engaged in the acts of perversion. When
the last of the quote unquote protectors had been abducted,
(01:16:15):
the soldiers began snatching men from the groups groups sitting
with me one by one. It wasn't long until I
was the only one left. I stood fearfully at one
end of the tent, knowing that the soldiers would soon
come for me. Yet somehow, in the midst of that
terrifying nightmare, shaking with fear over what I knew might
happen to me, I realized I could pray for protection.
(01:16:35):
Just before the soldiers came for me, I pled with
God for grace enough not to respond to anything that
they might do to me. I had no sooner prayed
when several naked soldiers seized me and dragged me out
of the tent. Just as one of the men leaned
down to molest me, I was able to break out
of the dreams, struggle up out of bed, and grope
my way into the living room and turn on the light.
(01:16:58):
While the light of after the dream so while the
light afforded a measure of relief, if I closed my eyes,
I could feel the awful nightmare beginning again, I felt
as if my very sanity were being threatened. I paced
back and forth in my living room, crying out to
God for help. Was only after repeatedly singing, Bless the Lord,
Oh my soul, Bless the Lord, all that is within me,
Bless His Holy Name, that relief came. It took ninety
(01:17:22):
minutes of singing, plus desperate, agonizing prayer before this awful
vision finally receded and I regained a perspective that was
sane and rational. As I sat exhausted on the sofa,
I realized I had experienced something far more significant than
a simple nightmare. I had been given a sober, spiritual
warning when an evaluation. When a measure of peace finally
(01:17:45):
returned and I regained most of my composure, the spiritual
significance of what I had just experienced began to break
in on me. I felt God was showing me that
the protectors in my dream were pastors and ministers who
were insensitive and indifferent in regard to guarding their flock,
and whose desire to walk in both the spiritual and
carnal worlds at the same time, as evidenced by their
(01:18:05):
feet being extended outside the tent would prove disastrous for
many of them. I felt God was showing me that
in the days ahead, every pastor or shepherd called to
protect the people of God will be increasingly subjected to
demonic temptations of all kinds, particularly sexual temptation. Just think
this is even before before the Internet. I saw that
(01:18:31):
as the level of spiritual warfare in the Church continue
to intensify, increasing numbers of pastors and spiritual leaders would
be seduced by demonic forces and would abandon the congregations
they were called to pastor and protect, leaving their people
open to Satanic attack as well. For days after that strange,
terrifying experience, I found myself earnestly praying for God to
(01:18:51):
help me find a way to warn our nations, pastors
and spiritual leaders of the peril they face. Man. That
is in Tanse and it goes with what we read
in Philippians three. Hey, Marcus, dooms crueling? Yes, warn your child. Yes, sir,
(01:19:22):
my mustache is getting kind of bushy. It's probably time
to shave. But this is so good man, Oh my gosh,
don basham true and false prophets that Minister's dream is
already a nightmare of reality for many believers. Christian readers
of July nineteen eighty five Ladies Home Journal were undoubtedly
(01:19:44):
shocked by an anonymous article entitled My Minister Kept making Passes.
The sordid account described the plight of a church's secretary
whose boss couldn't keep his hands off her. A married
woman with a semi invalid husband invalid husbands, she needed
a job desperately, and for several months endured the sexual
(01:20:06):
harassment of the minister while managing to avoid outright immorality.
The article detailed her agonizing struggle not only to avoid
being seduced by the minister, but to find responsible mature
Christians to help her in her dilemma. After learning that
two other women in the church had been similarly accosted,
she sought help from the minister's superiors, only to be
(01:20:29):
told only to be told that unless she and the
other women publicly confronted the minister nothing could be done.
Even then, they were told there was no assurance he
would be removed from ministry. Eventually, the minister, piously protesting
that his affectionate gestures had been misunderstood, was transferred and
the offended women suffered painful and unjust condemnation by church
(01:20:51):
members who refused to believe their stories and sided with
the minister. The author's closing observations are significant throughout this
entire ordeal. I feel that what hurt me the most
was the automatic assumption that because the charges were made
against the minister, they must be lies. People simply do
(01:21:12):
not want to believe a minister could do anything immoral
at church. I pray for Reverend Smithson, and I hope
he will come to acknowledge the im morality of his
behavior and get help. I also pray for the unsuspecting
women he will be working with. Finally, I pray hardest
for my fellow churchgoers. I pray that they will recognize
that spiritual leaders are human. While the secretary's confession undoubtedly
(01:21:37):
shocked many readers of Ladies Home Journal, but I wonder
if a woman's magazine would publish something like that today. Whoo,
It was no surprise to many of us in ministry.
In fact, I felt she should be grateful to have
escaped actual sexual seduction, since many women caught in her
situation do not. You know what's interesting? I was listening
(01:22:03):
to Kenneth Hagen last night, and I noticed that ministers
that have a lot of experience in ministry when they preach,
especially at the end of their life, which this was
my grandfather's, one of his last books. I think, let's see,
he'd already written face up with a miracle handbook on
Holy Spirit baptism, lead us, not a temptation, huh. It
(01:22:33):
doesn't say deliver us from evil on here, so maybe
this was a later edition. I don't know. Nineteen eighty six.
He passed away nineteen eighty nine. Pretty young too, sixty
three years old, sixty two years old. I mean, why
(01:22:54):
reinvent the wheel. Let's let's get these Let's get these
books out there. Let's get work and with ministries. You
got the Victory Channel ministers. We've got podcaster Christians, we've
got church Tidenku, we've got all kinds of warriors, we've
got little remote bases like Father's House. We just need
(01:23:18):
to actually sit down and read our Bibles and make
our lives about the Word more than about our lives.
I mean, that's what we're doing here. And I'll be
doing this from time to time. I don't know if
I'll like only read it's not really the best way
to do radio, honestly, but I feel like this is
(01:23:39):
what's needed, whether whether it's Orthodox or not. I mean,
we just read like a good chunk of my papa's book.
He hallelujah, maya look at her. Just read like eight
pages of this. It's pretty juicy. I mean it's like, wow,
dang man, man, you and if you think this is
(01:24:00):
just recent stuff, read go read First and Second Corinthians. Man,
they were getting into somethings back man. And by the way,
I was in the Children of God, and I still
remember a lot of miracles that took place despite some
pretty uh fresh key missionary situations. Nothing with malicious intent,
(01:24:27):
just the flesh. I mean, you get the flesh out
of control and you don't have that safety net and boundaries,
anything can happen. That's why it's so important that we
have a body that's aware. We have leadership structure as
well that's kept conscious of these things. But what is
really focused on is the power of God, not the sins.
(01:24:50):
We're not focusing on sins here. It's just something that
is very needed that's been neglected for some time. Okay,
here's another one. Some time ago, during meetings in a
church in a large city, I was approached for counseling
by a woman who tearfully confessed to an extramarital affair
with a prominent local clergyman. She refused to divulge his name.
(01:25:14):
The next day I spoke with another young woman who
also confessed to a lengthy, adulterous affair, apparently with the
same minister. Neither woman would name the man because they
said he was highly admired spiritual leader in the city,
and besides, they were not sure anyone would believe them.
I flew home wondering darkly how many more women that
lustful minister had seduced. Then a few weeks later, during
(01:25:37):
a Bible teaching mission in a certain eastern city, a
lovely young woman made an appointment to see me, Reverend Basham.
She said, as we sat in the pastor's study, I
have a problem so unusual I hardly know how to
tell you about it. It wasn't nearly as unusual as
she thought. A few weeks ago, our church sponsored an
evangelist whose preaching was just wonderful. Many people were saved
(01:25:59):
and blessed. It was a wonderful week of ministry. She paused,
and her eyes filled with tears. But it wasn't a
wonderful week for me. I know the minister was a
servant of God, since God used his ministry in such
a wonderful way. Only she paused again. Hello, Well, we're
(01:26:21):
gonna leave it there, guys. It keeps going. It's a
long story, and it's dealing with the immorality of ministry,
and it's nothing to be embarrassed about. Like this kind
of thing is pretty normal, but it has we have
to have safeguards. We have to we have to basically
face the fact that that the enemy will just use
(01:26:43):
anything he can get at any time, anything, so we
we are not ignorant of his devices. Pray for us,
Pray for don bash Ministries coming back strong. We're going
all in and you can help support the gives go
don Basham give send Go. And I'm confident that the
(01:27:05):
Lord is going to do new things. He's going to
elevate us into places where rather than this kind of
back studio with the mop bucket behind me as you
can see, and coffee maker. And but we're making it happen.
I mean, the word is still being spoken. It's just
we've lost most of our team members after the hurricane,
(01:27:27):
and I mean they just got involved with their own
lives and people have struggled. There's been various parallel issues
to this book. So I really truly believe that that
you're going to see breakthrough like you've never seen before
as you confess, repent, get rid of things in your
(01:27:49):
life in an appropriate way, whatever, and then just don't
be afraid to confront problems, but first pray about them
and then see how God will take care of things,
almost like automatically. I mean, I was in situations in
Taiwan that were absolutely compromised, and what we're seeing, what
(01:28:12):
we learned from that has helped us to navigate situations
that are like less extreme. But we've had to navigate
some situations and it's it's been amazing just to see
the word of God in prayer go to fight for us. Hallelujah.
Well y'all, haleelui. Got my wife, got my kids here,
(01:28:35):
My wife is ready to start pastoring a church soon.
He's that right, My lady, mahoney, you got to get
yourself a good wife that loves the Lord Proverbs thirty
one Woman. And then you go to war, you know,
with those proper with that framework in gear. Doesn't mean
(01:28:56):
everything's perfect. But you should have seen how she cleaned
the house last night. Oh my gosh. Wow. We incidentally,
we do have a cleaning business, and we've been doing
one thing at a time in the car rental business,
cleaning business, property management. But just pray for us because
it's it's exciting to have an LLC and to have
these different components coming together. But all the power really
(01:29:21):
lies in prayer, in the prayer closet, and you with
your Bible, that's where the power is, and then letting
God do the work. So I think we read a
lot of good words today. I hope you all having
a nice day and join your lunch, and we shall
see you again in the sequel.
