Sam Vander Wielen - Creativity, Connection, & New Perspectives

Today we are chatting with the most lovely human, Sam Vander Wielen an attorney-turned-entrepreneur  who helps creatives and other entrepreneurs legally protect their own businesses. We loved this conversation with Sam as we talk about how our lives have changed over the past month during the pandemic and what we hope continues in the future and what we hope does not. Sam tells us about how her career has shifted, how this legal business kind of found her, and how she had to change her perspective around starting her business. She shares about not making your passion your business and how listening to people can help you create your business of service. We discuss how sometimes out of necessity comes invention and how this time has forced a lot of businesses to shift and evolve the way they operate and how it's actually been a pretty cool transition to witness. We also chat a lot about food and finding ways to be more mindful about waste and getting creative with recipes due to limited ingredients.
