Two weeks? Man, we gotthe first annual. First annual.
It was originally set for twenty twenty, but we know what killed that The
Strasburg Pervation event in Strasburg, Virginiafrom May twentieth through the twenty second.

(03:50):
And this special lady that we're aboutto bring in, miss Jennifer Kennedy.
She is the founder and organizer ofthis amazing event that we're all going to

(04:14):
know her Mike is not give usone second. I see if I could
clear that up. Can you bringthe mic a little bit close to your
mouth? Can you talk to meagain? That's a little better. Yep,
give that a try and see that. If we don't, people let
us know real quick in the stream. Okay, I have another hit so
that I can try. But yeah, I don't know how well it's gonna

(04:35):
work. Yeah, I think youwere gonna have to try the other one.
Okay, she sounded better without Yeah, you sounded better without it.
But let's see what happened. Butshe's getting a lot of feedback, so
let's head. What do you sayyou all coming up this summer for a

(04:55):

(05:16):
Jennifer, Jennifer. How are youdoing, dear? I'm doing all
right. How are you guys doingwell? We're making it has been a
long week. It's a little bita weird week. It's we're getting in
that phase now, Like Dave andI were just talking before we went on
the air here that we're starting toget that pre anticipation, not jitters,

(05:38):
but excitement about the event. We'vereally been looking forward to this event and
we I mean we were heartbroken whenit had to be postponed because of the
pandemic, and uh, when youcame up to us in Gettysburg, U
last year and told us it wasback on. Man, we we were
just so excited. Um, wewant we can't wait to get back down

(06:00):
that way and see everyone that weknow from from down that area. And
it's gonna be amazing and from whatI hear, from what I'm reading what
you're telling me. We got alot of people coming from all over,
not just down that way. Yes, um, we have. I have
several people who are flying in.Um, Jeremy Leonard is gonna be there.

(06:24):
He's coming up from Louisiana. Um, the Foxes, Um, I
know they're flying in. I can'tremember from where though. Yeah. I
spoke briefly with Jeremy. I believeit was last week. We were talking
about the event, and um,it's actually it'll be day. I mean,
Dave and I are friends with Jeremy, but through Mike King, of

(06:46):
course, but it'll be our firsttime actually meeting him in person. So
even though we've been friends with him, chatting with him for years. Um,
wow, you know it's it's gonnabe great to meet him and one
of our you got Hey, Iwas so happy to hear this man,
you have one of our dearest friendsfrom upstate New York coming down to join
us. Which one is that?Christopher Chris? Yeah, yes, yes,

(07:12):
yes, he's driving. Oh yeah, yeah, he's he's making the
drive. I'm really happy about himbeing able to come because when I was
planning it in twenty twenty. Hewasn't going to be able to make it.
That's what he said. That's whathe said. Yeah, yeah,
So I'm really excited to have himbecause we were just with Chris Um last
month when we were all up inRochester for the Parafest, and he's such

(07:39):
a funny guy, man, Imean, he's he's so amazing in his
story and yes, you know,it's just a lot of people may have
saw him on different shows on theTravel Channel and he's known as the ghost
Boy of Geneseo. So he's oneof the speakers, right, He's one
of the speakers. He's gonna betelling about his experience and he is.

(08:01):
He's he's just a really positive,positive attitude, like a really fun energy
to be around. We got it'sa funny story. It was the last
day of Parafest and Dave and Iwe were at the far end of the
room, up against the back wall, and Chris was set up in one

(08:22):
of the aisles and they were doinglike the like the silent auction or whatever,
and then they started like auctioning offour books and stuff like that,
and Dave Jell and you know, hey, Ernie, raise your hand and
I'm like, I'm thinking I'm gonnaput my hand up and then all of
a sudden they're gonna be like yeah, and Ernie bids one hundred dollars.
You know, I thought it wasa setup. So I'm like kind of

(08:45):
leriu and I'm waving my hand.Well, Chris didn't see where we were
at or whatever. And he comesback and he's he's like, hey,
man, I gotta you can Iborrow a sharpie? And I'm like yeah,
sure. He's like someone wants myautograph. Well, he's a character,
man, all that that whole crewfrom up like the New England,

(09:05):
upstate New York area. Man,they're just a bunch of great people.
And absolutely you know. Um soJennifer, give everybody. I know there's
gonna be a lot of people tuningin. If not, why I'm watching
this later that's excited to hear aboutthe paravasion event. So please tell him
where's that's going on, tell usanything and everything that you need to get

(09:26):
out there about it. Okay,So the paravasion, the Strasbourg Historical Paravasion
is being held at Hubstill Battlefield inStrasbourg, Virginia, and it is on
May twentieth. The VIP party isactually on the twentieth, and the main
event is on the twenty first andtwenty second. It is a charity event

(09:46):
to raise money for the historic HeaterHouse. And the heater House is um
kind of up the road from whereit's located. It is over two hundred
and seventy years old, and it'sin pretty bad disrepair. But at the
same time, it's got some reallygood bones and some really neat original architectural

(10:07):
features, such as the original plaster, the limestone and hair plaster. Back
in those days and their seventeen hundreds, they mixed hair with the plaster for
installation. Yeah, I've got abunch of pictures that I plan on posting
on the website. I was ableto get my own personal tour back in

(10:28):
twenty twenty. Right now, it'sclosed to the public, so I do
want to ask please do not goup and try and sneak in. There
will be police checking on it duringthe weekend of the event. It's just
not safe. It's got a lotof water damage on one side of the
house, but it's a really coolhistoric house. And the cedar. Sorry,
my catisonzing the cedar Creek Battlefield Foundationis the people who own the house,

(10:54):
and they are working on doing researchand studies on it. They just
recently got the first report back forit. They're going to be doing probably
in a few years, some archaeologyon it and working to restore it.
And this specific year we are raisingmoney to replace the windows and the window

(11:18):
sills. They actually just lost anotherwindow this past winter. They're trying to
get some restorations like that done asthey're studying it, just to try and
prevent any more damage. But yeah, the all of the ticket sales,
the vendor tables, everything, allof that money is going to the heater

(11:41):
house and you're going to have likea silent auction type. Yes, we
are going to have speakers. There'sa full day of speakers on Saturday and
Sunday. And sorry, my catkeeps rubbing against my laptop so it's bouncing
the camera. Full day of speakSaturday and Sunday. The VIP party is

(12:03):
Friday from seven pm two ten pmand that is in the banquet room at
the Ramada Inn, which is directlyacross the street from the event where we
are. Yeah, there's going tobe a DJ at the VIP party and
food and refreshments there nice and umat yeah, DJ dancing. I actually

(12:24):
know that DJ. I've known herfor for decades and she's awesome. Um,
her name is DJ Sunny. Well, what we're gonna do? I
just came up with a brilliant ideato raise money. Since you're having a
DJ and you said it's going tobe dancing, We're gonna have Dave start
off in his speedo dancing. Andwhat we're gonna do is we're trying to

(12:46):
make more on it. Wait minute, let let me finish. We're gonna
do this in reverse. Every timesomeone donates a dollar to his speedo,
we're gonna have him put an articlea close. Yeah I do that,
but I got a I got alittle bit of a surprise for the auction.
Um, when you and I weretalking about that, uh, you

(13:07):
know, of course we're gonna donatesome paranormal ink stuff and I'm gonna throw
a copy in my book in there, but also um, adding to the
little bundle provided by Dave and I. My editor just published her eighth book
and it's a children's book, soI'm gonna be donating. It's really cool

(13:28):
book for kids too. Man,it's got the little spooky going on,
but not nothing, you know whatI mean, great children's book and I'm
gonna throw that copy of that inthere in the in the bundle that we're
donating for the auction. So I'mawesome. Yeah, we're I'm taking donations
from the vendors. The Cedar CreekBattlefield Foundation is also going to be um

(13:50):
putting together some gift baskets, someartwork, a lot of cool stuff.
We're gonna be doing a silent auctionand um another like raffle where you'll get
to buy tickets for specific items. My my store, I own a metaphysical
shop and which is the sponsor ofthe event. Uh, my shop will

(14:13):
be donating items as well, differentmetaphysical items kind of what kind of items
you have in your shop for thosethat aren't familiar, I have crystals,
candles, incense, UM, basicallymetaphysical tools for like healing and for spellcraft,
a big variety of things like that. Very good. Where where's your

(14:37):
shop located at? It is atseven sixty four South Main Street and Woodstock,
Virginia. It's about about thirty minutesor so away from the event itself.
Are you going to be selling itemsthere from your shop or YouTube?
Yes, because I know you've gota block going on. Oh, I
have a great support network. Ummy paranormal team, Um, Shannon do

(15:01):
a Paranormal Watch. They're going tobe helping during the events, and I
will have a table set up.I have some people who are going to
be helping me for the Crystal Cat. The Crystal Cat will have a table
there, Um Shannon, Normal Watchwill have a table there, and UM,
we'll be they'll, like I said, they'll be helping with the event
and the Crystal Cat will be sellingitems as well. Very nice, who

(15:26):
um I mean? And also Iwanted to tell you you did an amazing
job on the website. Every nowand then I check it and you know,
for the updates and what have you. And li's the website so that
people can find it. It's it'sparavasition dot org. It's p A R
A v A t I O Nparavasition dot org. And well, I

(15:52):
was so surprised because I had noidea, but um, I forget what
I clicked on one but then itwas like special event and I've seen Haunted
doll and I'm like, oh,shoot, somebody else. No, I
didn't know that she listed sands Or. I didn't know it was our I
thought somebody else. And I clickedon theirs minding your MUSHes on air with
Sandsor and I'm like, oh,so funny. Party is. As we

(16:14):
were getting we were down here gettingready for the show. We were listening
to footsteps roam around upstairs at thetop of my house and her and he's
like, it's great. It was. It was crazy because we were getting
ready because our studio here is inDave's basement, we have a separate section.
And I was upstairs in the restroomand I thought Dave came back upstairs.
I mean, Dave's a heavy walker, He's a big guy. And

(16:37):
I heard him and I was waitingfor him to say something. So I
come down and he was in thesame spot and I said, were you
upstairs? He said now, soDave's dog laze here with us while we
broadcast the show. And I heardthe footsteps again. Well, she was
right here and his dog Rose actuallylooked upstairs and then ran up to see

(17:00):
what it was. And there's noone up there. Man. It was
I'm like, welcome to my world. That happens all the time here.
Yeah, I honestly, Dave,I thought I thought it was I thought
you'd come back upstairs, like toget your phone or a speaker. It
was crazy. Yeah, it's crazy. That happens all the time. And
um, Sandra, she loves movingto right here on our desk when you're

(17:22):
not looking. The times that Ifound it, I thought he was squirreling
around with me. But yeah, she moves on her own. You hear
a kid giggling here every now andthen when there's nobody here. Um.
Yeah, so it does happen. But Sandra will be with us during the
whole whole event. She'll be outon display and everyone could come up and

(17:42):
see her and people like taking picturesof her and all that good stuff.
So, um, Jennifer, there'sthat Sandra is going to be there.
Also, the Foxes are bringing ahunted not really haunted, but a cursed
box, and um, this isactually a pretty cool story. Um.

(18:04):
I studied demonology with Jeremy Leonard andthey were in the class with me,
and they were working a paranormal caseat the time, and they found this
box buried on this property and ithad all these weird symbols on it,
and they opened it up and therewas a doll inside with these a bunch

(18:26):
of nails nailed into the chests, and a lot of other weird personal items
and it was an old doll. And I'm an a cult specialist. I've
been studying a cult for decades, and I was working with them to help
them figure out what it was.I explained to them what it was.
It was it was a curse, and I worked with them to break the

(18:48):
curse and to bind the box andget rid of any entity's attached to it.
And it all went pretty well. And they're going to have that box
and the content at the event showeverybody, and they're going to be speaking
to tell their a story of it. Wow, that's very cool. The
haunted items things, man, II've always been like back when um,

(19:12):
I mean they still uh reshow them. But when John Zapis's show The Haunted
Collector was on and um, BrianKano and the rest of his crew was
on there that that was such anamazing show man. And I got such
a kick out of it because someof the items that they would come across

(19:33):
and find and take out of there, and of course, you know,
the client would want some sort ofum resolution from it, so it would
be stored into the The John's Museum. But it was so cool some of
the items I get out of there. Oh yeah, but um, it's
funny you were talking about the occultand all that stuff. Um, I

(19:53):
noticed is a sidetrack. But theother night when Dave and I were to
VFDLB, I was in the backof the I can't think of a guy's
name. I was in the backof the room sitting there at the table
while Margaret was speaking, and Iwas signing a book for one of the
people there. His name, Oh, I know, his name was Jim.

(20:14):
But he kept looking at me andhe goes, man them eyes and
I was like, huh, hegoes, your eyes look like and you
may know who I'm referencing. Ican't think of a guy's name, and
I know the whole story. Buthe was God forgive me. He was
the founder of the Church of Satanin California. Yeah, he said that.

(20:37):
I know, he said that myeyes looked just like his, and
I'm like, I never really likedlooked at his eyes that in depth.
But I thought that when you thoughtwhen you brought up the occult. Anyway,
now that we've covered parravation, Iknow you got a hell of a
backstory with you know this entire field. Tell us a little bit about yourself,

(21:02):
Jennifer, and how you got intoall this Before I do that,
There's two more things I want tobring up about the parabasition real quick.
Rick Hayes, he's known as oneof the top twenty five psychics in the
country. He's going to be doinga special Connections Gallery on Sunday from two
pm to four pm, and thosetickets are on sale right now. You

(21:26):
can find the link on the website. If you order them ahead of time
online, it's ten dollars off, okay. And there's also the Sisterhood.
They're going to be doing something thatwe've never seen done before. This is
the first time they're doing it,but they're doing a raiky and healing session
gallery Wow where you can. Thetickets are only ten dollars and a portion
of these ticket sales are all goingto the heater house that the gallery I

(21:52):
believe is eleven or eleven thirty.I'll have to look at the schedule.
On Sunday, it's going to beI believe an hour. Can you can
you elaborate a little bit on umthe special event that Rick Hayes is doing
for those it's a psychic connections galleryto connect with past left ones. Wow,
okay, yeah, I'm gonna checkthat one out. I might because

(22:17):
um, two of those spirits thatI know here in my house with my
grandparents. We've had too many peopleconfirmed that, too many mediums and too
many things that have We've gotten veryspecific names that I don't tell anybody that
came across the show that it's mygrandparents. Well tell her when you was
with um. I mean this confirmsit beyond a reasonable doubt for me,

(22:38):
when you were with Amy Allen.Um. Oh, First of all,
I love Amy. Amy. Ifyou're watching, I love you. Yeah,
You're like my dream girl anyway.Oh no, sorry, um different
we went We went into the NewJersey para con and her line was like
God for long, for all that, and then at the very end of

(23:02):
the day, I looked down itwas like three people left the line.
So I scurried down the hallway andjump in, and then one lady jumps
in behind me. Now, theonly thing I have on is badger,
says vendor on one side. Youflip it over and says Haldiman mansion on
the other. And she looks atme, goes, hi, David,
Hi, and she goes, youhave two people hanging with you, one

(23:23):
guy over here. And then shedoes her thing, goes into the eye
roll thing. She describes my grandmotherand grandfather and also my father who I
barely knew, and she like, just roll my jaw back here, and
so she's she is just an amazingwoman. So she told me that they're

(23:44):
following me everywhere. And then Ihave a blue aura whatever that means,
and that you know, spirits areattracted to me, which is why I
do what I do. I loveher. What do you do? Run
from you? So you asked meabout myself. I have been interested in

(24:07):
the paranormal for a very long time. I saw my first entity when I
was like eight years old. Itwas out in a field and it was
just a pair of legs. Ididn't see any of the part. It
was just a pair of legs walkingacross the field. I saw my first
full body apparition when I was thirteenyears old. I mean it was a

(24:27):
full body woman in period clothing, standing next to the bed, just stare
looking down at me and smiling. Now, I'm a psychic medium. I've
had my abilities forever. I rememberwhen I was five years old, I
used to run up to the telephoneright before it would ring and stick my
hand on it ready to answer it. And yeah, when I was twelve

(24:55):
years old, I went through areally traumatic event basically, And when I
was around twelve years old, Idiscovered what all these things that I could
do were. I you know,I discover what esp was and what psychic
abilities were. So I went tothe school library and I checked out every
kind of book I could to learnabout them. And I have been honing

(25:18):
my abilities ever since, so thatit's been like close to forty years.
And I used to do readings backin the early two thousands, and my
reputation grew to the point where peoplewere showing up on my doorstep at two
and three o'clock in the morning.Yeah, I stopped doing readings because I

(25:41):
just, you know, I needsleep. So years later, you could
probably hear my crying in the background. He wants he wants to play with
my other cat, and she's juststaring at him. She won't play with
them. That's what he does whenhe wants to play, as he cries

(26:02):
at them. But um, anyways, I had I developed five or miles
in twenty twelve, and I kindof had to totally reinvent myself. And
I kind of said to myself, look, I've got these abilities, and
I'm not putting use to him.I was trying to find some new things
to do, and I was Ihad been hobby paranormal investigating on my own

(26:26):
for years, and I decided togo ahead and try and join a paranormal
team, and so I did,and I've that was in twenty seventeen.
I've been on a couple of differentparanormal teams. I have my own team
now, So I mean that's whatled me into the whole paranormal field.
Now on the other side, thehistoric side, I am currently in college

(26:52):
to finish the degree that I startedtwenty five years ago, and that is
I am a triple major in anthropology, specializing in archaeology and philosophy in history.
So that aspect, I've been fascinatedand interested in history, historic places

(27:12):
in archaeology since I was like twentynineteen. So that's kind of both worlds
coming together. And I'm actually doingan internship for archaeology at a different place
called Bellgrove Plantation that is like rightnext to the Heater House. And I'm

(27:37):
hoping to be able to work onthe archaeology the Heater House in the future.
Maybe that's my hope. I don'tknow if it's going to happen,
but I actually heard of Bellgrove Plantationbecause the reason that sticks out in my
mind the main road going to myhouse is bell Grove Road. And I
don't remember if I saw something orI read something, but it was about

(27:59):
Bellgrove and I was like, ohwow, I just found it, like
cool. You know. So whatis um, Jennifer, what is one
of the whether it's with your currentteam that you you formed or one of
your prior teams, what's one ofyour most memorable investigations? That would definitely

(28:19):
have to be a house that Iit was a personal residence and um,
I'm just going to give the cityname because it's a big city in Harrisonburg,
Virginia. This house was it sitson hold on, I've got a
cat fight? What sorry? Thishouse sits on historic land. Um,

(28:44):
And I didn't know the history ofthe house. When I went in,
I went in and um, weactually investigated this house three different times.
I went in, I did mypsychic reading of the house. UM,
I came across several different entities. They're like several and our investigations we picked
up some of the most amazing EVPsI've ever heard. Class a sound like

(29:11):
you're in the same room. AndI actually had Cody Ray with tabs at
the Pajama Factory. I let himhear a few of them and he ran
them through different types of software. He taught me how to use them to
determine if they were human or not. And he was pretty fascinated because the

(29:32):
software showed that they're not. Theyweren't human, they were on a totally
different decibel level. But this house, there were so many different EVPs and
so many different entities, and itwas just a cool house historically. But
once we went I went in anddid the historical research for the house and

(29:52):
everything that I had seen, allthe entities, Civil War soldiers and stuff,
it all lined up up when Iwas there doing my read. Now,
it was the main house and therewas a slave house out back.
It was pre Civil War and whenI was out back, I saw a
line of Union soldiers, like abig line of Union soldiers walking across the

(30:15):
field, and they had like theirheads down. They were all disheveled and
they looked defeated. And when Idid the historic research, I learned that
literally in their backyard was where aspecific Civil War battle. I found the
old maps and everything converged right inthe backyard and the Union lost. I

(30:37):
saw a specific Union soldier and wasspeaking to the Union soldier. He would
not crossover, try to get himto crossover because he felt and mense guilt
because when he left for the war, he told his wife that he would
return, and he never returned, and he's afraid to face her on the
other side, so he would notcrossover. Wow, uh yeah, I

(31:02):
uh. We had EVPs of womenand children and doing the history looking at
the history of the house, Iwent through looking at all the deeds and
come to find out the house hasbeen in the exact same family ever since
the land was taken. Basically it'sstill to this day in the same family

(31:23):
and Harrisonburg, Virginia. It's um, it's actually like about an hour south
of where I live, but thatI saw um Revolutionary War soldiers there.
I actually saw a specific type oftype of uniform that I was not like

(31:44):
the normal Revolutionary War uniforms. AndI went and did some digging to look
for the uniforms and um I discoveredthat the uniform that I saw this soldier
wearing was a Brigadoon uniform. Andcome to find out in the family history
they had a family member that wasin the brigad dance. Oh wow,

(32:07):
it was. It was. Itwas such a cool case because the personal
experiences and the EVPs and the thingsthat we caught, the evidence, everything
just lined up, not just withwhat I experienced as a psychic, but
historically as well. There's a child'svoice that kept seeing and hearing a child
there. Come to find out therewas a three year old child in the

(32:29):
family. Um back in the priestscivil word part that had passed away.
Oh wow, you know lined upwith with the size and everything of the
child that I just love. That'sthe part I love about ghost because it's
like I had back in two thousandand eight, I captured a photo at

(32:52):
a specific location during the day inGettysburg, and it appeared to be a
soldier leaning on a rock, lookedlike he was looking up a hill,
and I mean it was. Itwas clear as day. I mean.
So anyway, I knew a friendof mine he since passed away. He

(33:15):
was like the encyclopedia on Civil War, Like this guy knew every like everything
about every location and everything. SoI was talking about the photo and I
took it in and showed him onenight. And the photo that I captured,
the uniform that this apparent apparition waswearing was the same colors and style

(33:39):
of hats that the troop from whateverstate took over that location of that hill.
So he confirmed that the picture didlook like a uniform of a soldier
that's troop took over that hill.So I was like, well, and
I had no idea. I wasjust happy that I got it thought up
now. So it's so cool whenthings like that line up. Yeah,

(34:02):
That's why I like when we whenwe do when we do a lot of
residential cases. I mean, wewant kind of like the nuts and bolts
of the case, but not tootoo specific, you know what I mean,
because you know, we don't likehaving like yes, like right,

(34:22):
yeah, and we don't want ourmind muddied up or clouded because even if
like a certain name or whatever isn'ton the tip of our tongue at the
time, it's still you know, embedding in our brain somewhere. That's why
we like to just you're very vague, you know information, just a little
this or that that we need toget started. And then times when you

(34:45):
have that information. I've seen investigatorswho go in and they only focus on
that information. They only ask questionsabout that specific person or that specific situation,
and they're not open to any otheridea. See if we would have
been that way when we did them. Remember the guy thought a demon or

(35:06):
something that we had a case justtake one hundred and eighty degree turn on
us, and it was nothing atall what the client thought it. Clients
thought that there was a demon inhis house, which there wasn't. It
turned out it was his roommate justtrying to get him to leave the house
because she wanted the house by herself. But during the investigation it came full

(35:28):
circle. We got a name througha spirit box. Since the guy heard
it, he jumps up and runsout of the first first and last name,
actual first and last name of Wedidn't know who it was, and
this guy went and literally scurret outof the room, comes back with the
deed from before him, saying, and the guy's name was on it.
Yeah. So we came to theconclusion, Jennifer that since this roommate was

(35:52):
trying to trick him into thinking somethingwas there to scare him, that the
previous owner of the house had somesort of liking or attack that his kid
and was warning him about what wasgoing on. Yeah, so it you
know, if we didn't know hima little too much, you know,
such a great real when we figuredit out. So I've recently closed the

(36:15):
case like that. It did acomplete one eighty UM, completely similar to
that, but it actually turned outto be demonic UM. And this case
it was really interesting because it wasit didn't follow your typical demonic It was
very hard to detect. I woundup making a total of nine visits to

(36:36):
this home over period of I startedin November last year, December, Junior,
Fivorite March. I just wrapped itup in April. So um yeah,
total of like nine visits. Andwhen I went in originally, UM,
A lot of times I like tojust do a preliminary I'll go in
with just a basic equipment like aK two meter and U spirit box and

(37:02):
EVP recorder, take some base readswith the K two, some base reads
with the temperature, and just stayfor a couple of hours, Just do
short little EVP sessions, you know, do a client interview, and then
see what I get and kind ofgo from there. Determined, Okay,
this is enough to kind of figureout where we're headed if I want to

(37:22):
do a full investigation. And thisone at first seemed pretty cut and dry.
It was a house that had neverbeen owned by anybody else. It
was a single owner home until shebought it. The owner had passed away,
not in the house, but hehad passed away, and the owner
was the person who built the house, and some of the furniture had been

(37:44):
left behind. She was using it. She got it with the house,
and she was having items up herein the house. And there were items
that the previous owner had used, like like a spool of thread nobody in
her house sows or anything like that, and it was a specific type of

(38:04):
bull of thread that the previous ownerhad used in a hobby. She had
a couple other little things like that, like barber scissors just show up.
So you know, usually in ademonic case, you're gonna see coins or
like a lot of the same thing. Coins are pretty common. I had
one demonic case where the socks, just old socks kept showing up, So

(38:29):
usually you don't see things like that, right, And when we did the
EVP session, the spirit Box session, we were asking questions kind of a
variety, but we started getting responsesthat went along the lines of the previous
owner, and then we kind ofstuck to that the previous owner and some
of the responses were like, Hey, are you in the military, and

(38:52):
the response was yes, And weasked what branch and the response was a
Navy, And so we went andwe kind of looked that up and discovered,
okay, yes he acted because wedidn't know at the time if he
was in the military, and wewent up and looked his obituary up and
come to find out the previous ownerwas in the Navy. So you know,

(39:14):
initially it looked like, Okay, this is just a previous owner and
he's you know, hanging out becauseit's his old house. He lived here
for thirty years and he's attached tothe furniture. But when I went home
and I reviewed that the hour longspearbox and EVP session, the first thirty
minutes alone, there were over twodozen EVPs, most of them Class aavps.

(39:38):
Now we've got a quick question. Why would socks be demonic? The
socks specifically aren't demonic, but usuallynot usually, but in a lot of
demonic cases, you'll see items justup here that weren't there before. It's
it's when it's a specific item.It doesn't really matter what it is.

(39:59):
But it's usually the same thing comingup repeatedly, and often it'll be rocks,
it could be something as simple aspencils. You know, it's not
the item that's demonic. It's justthat it's a specific kind of item that
shows up repeatedly, over and overthat wasn't there to begin with, and
it just so happened that that thatone case, it was old socks.

(40:21):
Just these old socks just kept appearing, and like children's socks, adult socks,
and they weren't hers. So theclients, is there any significance between
the client and an item that mayshow up or is it just random because
it's it's random? Okay, Yeah, but um, yeah, back to

(40:45):
the case. I thought it wasthe owner. Oh. I had listened
just in the first thirty minutes aheadover two days and EVPs. I've never
ever, even when I was hobbyhobby ghost hunting, I've never I mean,
you're lucky to get one EVP inan eight hour night. Yeah,
you know. I'm like, holdon, this is a travel point of

(41:07):
something. They're coming from somewhere, because you just don't get this. I
got multiple men, women, childrennames. Wow, that's what I was
going to ask. Was it thesame person or a few people in all
the air? It was a lotof different people. Wow. Yeah.
And I also my daughter's name cameup, my ex husband's name came up,

(41:30):
and they weren't present. So Ihad the two relatives of the women
of the clients. Their names cameup, and a lot of different names
that we didn't recognize. I mean, it was a lot. And I
was like, wait a minute, pump the brakes, we need to I
need to figure out what's going onhere because it's just not normal and to

(41:52):
get that many EVPs, especially inthirty minutes, right. And I went
back and I talked to her, explain to her. I let her hear
some of the EVPs and she recognizedone of the voices as her grandmother.
But I told her, like, look, you know, initially I was
going to do a crossing over andyou know, wrap the case up.

(42:14):
And I told her, there's there'ssomething else going on here. There's got
to be a portal here or somesome sort of travel point. So I
went back another time, set upa time, and I checked the whole
property for portals, and I couldn'tfind one. So I set up an
investigation, all full blown investigation, and I was talking with Melody Brooke,

(42:37):
who's also going to be at theparavasition. She was initially going to come
help with the investigation, but shewounded up not being able to. But
she told me, you need tocheck the mirrors. So when I did
the full investigation, I checked themirrors and come to find out, in
the primary room that was experiencing theactivity, there was indeed a portal.

(42:58):
It was a closet. The wholehire closet door was a mirror. You
know there's old eighties style closets, closet doors. It was all a mirror
and there was a portal on it. Yeah, Melody Um, Melody is
amazing. She helped us. Wecalled Melody and Ray and I guess it
was like a year a year anda half ago. Um, during the
wintertime. Yeah, Mike King hadbrought us a case down in West Virginia,

(43:22):
and you know, we knew thatit was going to require some of
the things that Melody you know,is capable of doing. And she's just
amazing her and Ray and it's alwayssuch a pleasure when, you know,
when we do things like that together. I actually spoke to Melody yesterday,
so every you know, um,everyone's so excited about Yeah, yeah,

(43:43):
hey, can I actually be leadingthe paranormal investigation that I forgot to mention
that there is just ready, Jennifer, That's just what I was ready,
That's where I was leading with this. I was going to say, because
you're talking about the investigations, andyou know, I was like, let
everyone know about the investigation there atthe paravation event, there's going to be

(44:04):
a public investigation of the Huts HillBattlefield, which is haunted. I'm not
going to give any information. Ialready know some of the information about it.
There is a definitely a resident spiritand they've had reports dating back to
the eighties. They were actually featuredon a TV show back in the eighties

(44:24):
for the Haunting. But there's goingto be a public investigation. Tickets for
fifty dollars and we're doing We're splittingeverybody up in two groups, and one
group is going to be led bySteve Dills from Ghost Finders and Melody Brook
and the other group is going tobe led by Jeremy Lennard and myself and

(44:46):
John and Wie Covey. Good.Yeah, Steve. I talked to Steve
about a week or two ago. He's up there with Dan class. He's
right. Like I said, everybodykeep saying the same thing, but everybody
saw everybody I talked to. We'vebeen looking forward to this for so long.

(45:07):
Um, I can't believe going inmy head every day like is there
something I forgot to do? Ifeel like like I should be doing something,
and I keep going over No,I've I've done everything. I can't
believe it's finally here. Man.I got just a few more evenings of
work and then I'm done until wecome back. I can't wait. Yeah,
he's like bragging, I got thisinto this and then I got seven

(45:29):
days off to the pyramid. I'mlike, oh my lord. And so
far the weather is supposed to bereally nice. It's supposed to be in
the mid seventies, very good theweekend. I'm keeping an eye on it.
I'm so looking forward to just thevariety of vendors that are there.
I mean, it's going to beso much. Yeah, I'm still I
just got another vendor today. Imean its being that it's out it's outdoors

(45:53):
and indoors, primarily outdoors because it'sthe outdoors. It's on the battlefield,
so I I have almost an unlimitednumber amount of space. I can put
as many vendors in as I want. Um, the indoors, there's going
to be a few vendors. Youguys are in the indoors, and there's

(46:13):
that's where the speakers are. There'san actual auditorium and everything for the speakers
to speak. I think Jeremy's insidetoo, right, I think he's like
to and Mike King. Yes,When when you first um enter the building,
the building is actually the gift shopand the museum. So when you
first enter, you're entering into thegift shop and you guys and Rebecca Foster

(46:36):
are going to be in the giftshop, and then you keep walking,
walk past you guys, and yougo into the museum. And inside the
museum is where the auditorium where thespeakers are going to be. Melody Brooke
is going to be in there.Rick Hayes, Jeremy Leonard, Krista Chesire
and John and Wie Covey are allgoing to be inside there, and you

(46:57):
can walk around and see the CivilWar Museum in there for free. Our
cameraman John McGinnis is asking how muchare the tickets for the paravasition. Okay,
it depends on which things you want. The general admission tickets for just
to get in for Saturday and Sundayare ten dollars from each day, but
if you buy tickets ahead of timeonline you can get both days for fifteen

(47:20):
dollars. The paranormal investigation is fiftydollars. The VIP party is ten dollars.
Rick Hayes's Connections Gallery. If youbuy tickets in person, it's fifty
dollars, I believe, and ifyou buy them online it's forty. And
the Reikie and Healing session is tendollars. Now, if you buy your

(47:44):
tickets online and the links are onthe website. You can get discounts,
like I believe there's an all inone ticket for seventy dollars two and that
gives you the general admission for bothdays and the v P party in the
investigation. I'm looking forward to theVIP party. I am too. Now.

(48:06):
We got a question from Madeline chapRout. She forgot to ask do
you have an online shop me myselfor well, the Crystal Cat is online.
We do have an online website.Everything that's in my store is on
the website, and that's at theCrystal Cat Online dot com. And then
I have my own personal um Psychicwebsite. It's um Psychic Jen Kennedy dot

(48:31):

follow up to do at the endof the show. But if we appreciate
you being on with us and thankyou, we will see you in like
a week and a half. Yeah, Jennifer five, I'm sure I'll speak
to you prior. But if Idon't speak to you, m Dave and
I are arriving early on Friday.I may get there a little bit earlier

(48:52):
than Dave, so I will hityou up as soon as we get into
town and get checked in, andI'm just happy to do IP party is
where we're staying at. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I tried to keep
everything centralized. You don't have totravel around much. That's so cool because
when Dave unloads my car to seteverything up Saturday, he doesn't have far

(49:13):
to walk, just across the street. I was very fortunate that the Ramada
Inn was was happy to be asponsor to provide the room block and the
banquet room. I called make thereservations for Dave and I and the lady
I spoke with m she like kneweverything about it and was like she was

(49:35):
She sounded more excited than I was, and I was like, okay,
yeah, everybody in the area thatis very excited, the town of Strasbourg.
I've been very fortunate. Everybody's justbeen completely on board and super excited
about the whole event. And that'swhy I said, as long as it
as it's a success and nothing goesterribly disastrous, everybody wants to keep it

(49:58):
going on annually. That's good. And for those watching that are attending,
we will be speaking at twelve noonon Sunday, so you'll get to hear
me babbel a little just a littlebit more. I'm the guy behind the
scenes. I do this, Jennifer. Thank you for taking an hour out
of Mother's Day to spend with Daveand I. And Happy Mother's Day to
