(01:06):
Well and David Siler, brought toyou by Paranormal Inc. Right here on
w LFE dB Radio. Well,Hello, everybody, hit round two.
Y'all missed it. We've actually hadlike ten minutes of show. I forgot

(01:29):
to Yeah, sorry for the delay. Um, we had brought our guests
and and Dave was Dave was tellinghim just how great of a tech guy
he was, and then he realizedthat he did not hit the go live.
But welcome to episode fifty. Let'sfeed this out. We have an
amazing guest we've been trying to geton our program for some time now and

(01:49):
finally managed to laughing at me frommy stupid um. You may have seen
him briefly last year. He madean appearance yet he's bird bashing, will
be there for a few days thisyear or so. From A and E's
hit show ghost Hunters. Our buddyDarryl, what's up brother? Round two?

(02:10):
Damn Banner Right, it's a good. Yeah, I'm not technical at
all. Man's what Siler does. But I'm sitting here and I'm looking at
the bond. I'm like that's notsupposed to I'm thinking to myself, that's
not supposed to be that color. No, I didn't want to say nothing
because I figured I wasn't right.No, I missed every down again,

(02:31):
but we were the only thing peoplemissed. We were talking about the excitement
that's in the air with the youknow, the Bash coming up, and
you know everybody's getting Uh some folksare even leaving tomorrow to go, and
Dave and I will be up thereThursday, and Daryl one Friday. And
you know, it's just the energy. Man, you can actually feel it

(02:51):
through your devices. I can't believe, man, how quick the Bash came
up again. It was like usuallyit just feels like it never gets here,
and this time this year it waslike a blink of here and gone
it's back. So um wow, yeah, Daryl, what have you been
up to? My man, You'vebeen crazy busy, crazy busy. Uh

(03:13):
just finished my book. Uh,it just went into publishing, Um well,
probably about three months ago. ButI'm just able, like this week,
in the last couple of days tostart talking about it out there and
things like that. But uh,yeah, I got a book that I've
been working on since June of lastyear and finished it, probably writing it

(03:35):
in February this year. And um, it's kind of yeah, just going
through the process man. Besides that, doing lots of events, gearing out
from my new show coming out DeadLive with some great people Chelsea Gill,
Court of Bentley, Mike Diamond,Um, and I'm super excited about that.

(03:58):
Matter of fact, I'll have thoseguys with me at the Bash on
Friday and Saturday, my new castmembers, and they'll actually be doing a
Q and A with me. They'llbe at my table. We're also representing
the world's largest ghost line at mytable as well. So yeah, because
we're actually producing that this year mycompany Paramoun Warehouse. Wow. Nice.
I saw the photos, um,because I'm very good friends with Chelsea,

(04:23):
and I saw the photos. Ithink it was just yesterday or maybe this
morning when I got up different photosof you and uh Chelsea and everything you
guys been doing. It looks socool, man. I can't wait.
I can't wait to see it.As far as your book, I mean,
can you give everybody because I knowyou're still in the Yeah, I

(04:46):
can't what it's about. Yeah,A lot of people already do the name
but I just found out this week. I'm not even about to say the
name, but I can tell youwhat it's about, little bit of it.
Basically, it's about an investigation Idid seven years ago, and a
matter of fact, it was sevenyears ago this July, just and it

(05:11):
was in Cleveland, a place calledthe House of Wills, and uh an
investigation area that really, uh itreally changed my way of investigating. It
really played havoc on my life forquite a while and almost made me quit
the paranormal altogether. And uh soI wrote a book about it. It's
very it's it's got a lot goingon. It's it's not just paranormal,

(05:33):
but I want to call it aparanormal slash horror slash true crime. And
it's a bunch of different genres. And it's all my u me accounting of
what happened over that period of timeand leading up to that. And it's
got some other chapters there about youknow me, how I got into investigating,

(05:57):
and leads up to that and theninto me going on ghost hunters and
all that stuff. So it's it'sit's a gamut, it's a it's it's
a good read. People are lovingit so far the publishers are loving it,
so see what happens here doesn't comeout until this time next year,
but I'm super excited about it.Wow. Yeah, man, that's that's

(06:18):
that's real cool. I can't becauseI'm a huge fan of books. I
I read so much and um,he should have been a librarian. I
should I should have been. ButI can't wait to add that add to
the collection. Man's that's like everyevent we go to, Man, I
just go around like bookshop. Sooh yeah, back there, different stuff.

(06:43):
Yeah, definitely, uh, definitelylooking forward to Yeah, looking forward
to that one. That's gonna befun. Wow. What Um, I
know this is a vague question,Daryl, but what what got you into
into the paranormal? What? Imean? What sport that start? What
got that fire going? I wascomplete accident. Um. I actually when

(07:06):
I was a kid, I grewup in a holiday house. But I
don't remember. I was so young. I was like six weeks moved out
of there. I just remember thestories my parents would would talk about and
my grandparents. Um. And inOctober of two thousand and in five,
I actually got him invited to aparanormal Mom. But here's a story,

(07:30):
you know, quick story behind it. My mom actually got tickets to go
to like an investigation by a localteam here at Delaware, at Fort Delaware
and UM and she had nobody togo with her. So it was around
Halloween. It's like literally two weeksbefore Halloween. And uh so I said,
I'll go see what this stuff about. You know I did. I

(07:51):
knew nothing, you know, orany of that stuff. I mean that
was all like taboo back then.People really didn't talk about it. So
I went in long story short,on my first time outs. It wasn't
even investigation. It more like awalk through and you know, like there's
a paramount investigator with us who waskind of walking us through the location.

(08:11):
I actually witnessed a half body apparition. This gentleman was standing literally ten feet
from me. All was like asee was from the shoulders up. I
remember very you know, very likeI could see it still to this day
and it's been you know, almosttwenty years ago. He had maybe shoulder

(08:35):
linked, scraggly hair, a verydisheveled beard with debris in it. I
could see like dirt and like itwas just if you made bits of leaves
or something and he was there forabout a good ten seconds and he kind
of like sucked into a ball andjust going. And you know, with
my research over the years, Ikind of find out quite possibly, I

(08:58):
mean, being or Delaware, hewas probably a Confederate prisoner of war from
the Battle of Gettysburg because of theprisoners there were from the Battle of Gettysburg,
so he was probably a prisoner ofwar pow um. It was very
harsh conditions there. I don't knowif you guys are familiar with Fort Delaware,

(09:18):
but it was called the Andersonville ofthe North Um. It's basically an
island in the middle of the DelawareRiver, and that's where they was sending
everybody. And over a period ofyou know, three three and a half
years, something like an ungall theamount of people died there from starvation,
disease, murder, um. There'seven reports of cannibalism. So yeah,

(09:43):
it was it was. It wasa harsh place. And but that's what
I saw. And I know whenI left there that night that somehow,
some way I was going to tryto figure this thing out. And I
just started doing it locally, youknow, like on the weekends once a
month whenever I had a chance to. It was just me and beginning until
I met my wife and we wereyou know, we were dating at the
time, and she never been andso we started going to Gettysburg and we

(10:09):
know that's all it takes. Yeah, right, that actually marries in the
field right now, Hey, Pam, how you doing? Yeah? We
um we We actually got to thepoint where we started like running the cash
Town in weeks at a time andstaying there and uh, we had so
many great experiences there at Cashtown, and it just grew and and that's you

(10:31):
know, and you know fast forward, you know, with me doing you
know, podcasting and live streams. That's kind of worked Center's family. Then
it grew from their. Man,that's where I'm at now. Wow,
I mean this might be a badanalogy, but I always call I always
refer to Gettysburg as our parent orthe paranormal playground, because it's so funny,

(10:56):
man, over the years, youknow, going up there just to
take a bike ride or you know, sit on the hill and smoke a
cigar saying m Pam, you know, I like taking photographs of stuff and
not even being there for anything paranormal. Of course, when I come home,
I'm going to analyze my photos anyway. Yeah, and you know,

(11:20):
some of the best um pictures I'veever gotten in Gettysburg was during the day
when I was just there sight seeingwith no intention of trying to do something
paranormal. Absolutely, I mean,we've got some amazing pictures there just hanging
out um right in town. Imean, like like especially like where the
Orphanage is. I remember, Yeah, my wife was taking pictures one night.

(11:43):
We did like a tour of theOrphanage, and they actually had us
outside like I guess he used tobe the actual yard of the Orphanage.
Now it's kind of like a restaurantand there's like a little like backside to
it where there's a gazebo type structureand a couple of trees. And she
took a bunch of pictures of thistree in this gazebo, and like three

(12:07):
or four pictures. You go throughthem and they're probably a length of ten
seconds altogether. You start seeing thislittle thing forming, and by the time
it was done, there was animage of a little boy peering around the
tree. Um in like period outfitum being that's an orphanage, I mean,
you know, he quite possibly couldhave been a child that died there.

(12:30):
Uh, not sure about that, but it was, you know it
it was compelling to see that thatwas years ago. It was ten to
twelve years ago we had that picture. But um, yeah, it's just
like I said, I used towe run into the cash Town and all
the time we go there. There'sone time we actually run it for five
days straight. We had so muchexperiences at that location alone. It's just
yeah, it's it's it's my goto. I love I love Gettysburg.

(12:54):
I mean about man. I can'ttell you the exact year. It was
a good while ago. I didn'teven know Dave then. But a friend
of mine, we just saw,a guy used to work with before he
retired. We decided to go toGettysburg for the evening. You know,
he was starting to really get intothe paranormal. So I was like,

(13:16):
hey, let's just spending the youknow, spend the evening in Gettysburg and
just have some fun. So wedecided to go on one of the Orphanage
tours. So we're like out inthe parking lot and it's a whole group
of people were waiting to take thistour and we're just having fun and everybody,
you know, like, I getat a picture of me and my
buddy for me, you know, stuff like that. And it's the funniest

(13:39):
thing because someone took a photo withmy actual camera and right by my body
it looked like an electric streak, almost like the swoosh on a Nike shoe.
Yeah, and we're wow, thatwas a pretty cool camera glitch.
Well, as we're talking, someoneelse had taken a picture and um,

(14:03):
my body and I happened to bein the background, just standing there talking
and that same mark was by himtaking with someone's phone. And like three
or four times we still can't explainthis, three or four times out of
the night, taken with different phonesand different locations. While we were at
the Orphanage, my buddy always hadthis streak somewhere around him. Yeah.

(14:26):
I never even told you about that, but that that was that was kind
of web. The first time Iwent there that I got choked. Oh
I got it felt like somebody literallygrabbing my throat and I'm like, get
me at it. I mean,I was having problems breathing and everybody yell
to get off, you get off, you get off you. They had
to pull me out of that backlower room. Yeah, that's we were

(14:46):
up there with Pam and Steve andhell out of me because I had never
been touched before by anything but Gettysburg. Man. It's just like that's so
much fun up there, you know. Yeah. I love everybody every time
I do, like a podcast orsomething. And it's funny to see because
some people have never been there. They always wanted to go, and like,

(15:09):
if you're in the paranormal, youhave to go. I mean,
it's it's like such a hotbed andit's just such an amazing experience just even
hanging out there and just the wholeyou can feel it in the air.
I mean people of Gettysburg, youknow, being in the battlefield or being
in town, there's this you know, I don't know, it's this or

(15:31):
this aura about it, just likeit just permeates and it's it's such an
amazing place. I love. Imean, I love the atmosphere. I
love that the people were are great, um ocations are amazing, you know.
I just love going there. Imean it's not for paranormal, just
going there on vacation or hanging back. Yeah, it's it's great. Food.

(15:52):
Yeah. I was just gonna say, yeah, well for how the
world's largest coast on what three yearfour year years ago at the at a
farm, David Stewart farm. Wewere with Pam and Steve yep, and
we we got so much stuff offthis farm there, um from the Civil
War, from the World eighteen twelve, from you know, just different.

(16:15):
We had, um we had puta camera. We were at the David
Stewart farm and beside them, Iguess that was like the barn or whatever,
there's the field. So we hadput a camera. Actually ran a
wire way out into the field andjust as it was turning dark, myself

(16:36):
and um Steve Barry, we werewalking out. I had my um flare
camera with me and we were walkingout just to check the camera or adjust
it or something before we start. So as Steve and I are walking across
this field, I got my cameraout and I'm really not paying attention,
and Steve says, hey, lookman, there's a heat signature on your

(17:00):
camera. So we're still walking andI was like, we were coming up
on a tree, so we're like, ah, maybe the tree's putting off
some heat. So this is thisis no bullcrap man. You can ask
Steve in a couple of days whenyou see him. We make it to
the tree, but the heat signaturestill ahead office on the camera, so

(17:21):
we steady keep walking. As weapproached the woodline where the camera is,
the heat signature starts to come intoshape and it was a man, right,
And Steve's like, oh man, that looks like a man standing error.
So we start trying to communicate andSteve I forget his I can't quote
and verbade him, but he's like, hey, can you say hi to

(17:45):
us? And Steve goes like this. All of a sudden, Man,
you see this arm come up andgo like this, And I mean it
was like, oh wow. Sowe're close enough now, Daryl where we
can see that there's no one inthere with the naked eye right and the
poper we get the heat signature justfaded. That's what that was. Yeah,

(18:07):
that farm if you have you beenthere yet? The David Stewart farm
sounds familiar? Whereabout in Gettysburg,is it it? I if Pam or
Eric or somebody's watching, give uscall us where it's at. I forget
um. It's just like on theoutskirts of town. Yeah, it's on
the outskirts and it's back off ofthe Long Road. If it weren't for

(18:30):
GPS, we I mean, we'dstill be trying to find, still be
trying to find. So the GPStook us like across the street and down
the road a little bit and it'sjust like little hidden road to go in
Fairfield. Thank you, Pam Fairfield. See now I'll tell you what's really
cool man. And I'm sure youhave the hours of the bash and everything,

(18:52):
but for those watching the UM thehours this year is Friday and Saturday
noon to six and Sunday noon tothree. And that's so cool because it
gives you time in the morning ifyou want to go out and explore.
Also gives you time in the evening. I mean the bash. You know,
you still get a good amount ofhours the bash will be ending and
it'll still be daylight. Yeah,so you know, people bringing any equipment

(19:17):
with you. Yeah, I'm gonnabring my usual, my um E EDI
and my camera as my partners bringinga bunch of stuff. I'm sure Chelsea
is Corvitte also on our show. He's flying in from Indiana. Um so
yeah, I'm sure we're gonna havesome stuff because we're actually gonna go live
on Friday night from someplace where we'llfind a location out there and do a

(19:38):
live feed on parent of warehouse justto do something. You know, I'll
bring a bag of tricks with me. So if you're board, I'll come
and if you're at some point atthe in the night inviting the public to
come to a free investigation with us, like show up to this space if
you want to investigate, we'll bethere. And so we'll probably talk more

(20:00):
about that this week before we getout there. But uh yeah, we're
gonna make the most of it,man, because it's an exciting time.
We're gonna have all these great peoplethere and see what happens. Man,
I'm super excited. But you know, one one great thing about Gettysburg,
Darrell, is you don't have toplan like, hey, let's go to

(20:22):
this venue tonight and set up andinvest in the gates. You can go
anywhere, you can land anywhere next. Now that's weird because I try to
explain it to people because I actuallygot stuck in that rut probably ten years
ago where we went there. Wewere going to film this you know,
this YouTube series we were doing andit was me and a couple of people
from Ohio, my wife and myother friend. We get there and the

(20:45):
person who was this location they hadwas it was it was a joke um
and they were trying to charge likesome ungo the amount of money. We're
like, a screw this, Sowe just went out. We went out
into a random yield and started gettingcrazy stuff happening. Then we jumped over
to the to the was the CoochesBridge or and we went back in the

(21:08):
woods back there and we're getting crazythings happening. So I mean, it's
like I was telling people like, look, you don't have to plan,
like you don't like pay money togo and it just go. Because I've
seen a lot of people out theredoing that without trying to rock the public.
People who don't know any better, like and they try, oh we'll
give you a ghost tour, willticket to this place and that place.
You know, you get to spenda half hour here, forty five minutes

(21:30):
there, and they're spending like onehundred bucks. Like you don't have to
spend anything just not in Getty's notNo. I mean things like the Wax
Museum and the orphanage that goes tosupport also a historic yeah monument. So
yeah, those are good places, but they're trying to set you know,
get you over here, seventy fivehundred dollars the pop come out to.
Hey, let's go. No,now, don't get me wrong. Man,

(21:52):
back in the day, you know, I'm going way way way back.
You know. I've been on theghost tours up there. Whatever,
Yeah, the ghost tours up there. But I tell you what, man,
as far as evidence, the bestevidence I personally have is just being
standing on the hillside or hey, let's take a picture of this cool looking
building and just stuff pops up,you know what I mean. It was

(22:17):
nothing, you know, Like Isaid, the majority of the evidence I
got out of the town of Gettysburgitself was I was just there sightseeing,
having a gelato or sitting on ahill smoking a cigar, you know.
And it now we know what isproblem is. Yeah, Hey, um,
have you been to Stephen Yeah,Stephen Pam's playsche at the Hoover House.

(22:40):
No, I actually did at whenthey had Lookout house. Yeah yeah,
yeah, I haven't not been tothe Hoover House yet. Now you
are board two weeks from Saturday. We're gonna be there. No, No,
September tenth, September. We're hostinga public investigation September. Yeah.
I got into bet in West Virginia. Yeah. Two weeks is uh Miller

(23:03):
mansion. Two weeks. I thoughtit was a week with I'm slow,
um, but you got to getthe Hoover House. Man. That place.
It's I tell you what's good.I tell you what's fun about the
Hoover House. First of all,it's absolutely beautiful. It's like you're stepping
back into time. And you know, being a person, you know me
personally, I don't feel stuff.I'm not psychic and medium, you know,

(23:26):
don't go for the don't do that. I don't. I don't feel
anything when I walk in places. But when you walk into the Hoover House,
man, there is nothing that makesyou feel uncomfortable. It's a very
welcoming you can feel the energy relax. Yeah. Yeah, and it's it's
a positive energy. Yeah. Andlike we've I think we've investigated there maybe

(23:47):
two or three times. We've hadpublic investigations there and man, it's it's
we come up with some great evidenceout there. We're so looking to I've
heard great things about her. I'veknown some people have been there and they
they talked to place up and that'skind of what you're explaining, is like
the same way I feel able togo to cash um down. It's like
for a long time there for agood ten years of my life, we

(24:11):
were going there, Yeah, twoor three times a year and that um
and it was like a home awayfrom home, Like I felt that location
um and uh, but yeah,I know the feeling you're talking about it.
There was nothing threatening there, butwhatever there is very it's pleasant um
you being there, and it willit will communicate with you if you wait

(24:37):
long enough. Yeah. Yeah. And that's the funny thing because a lot
of the venues we do events atand you do the same, but you
go in and they're creepy and they'redingy and they're dusty, and you're like,
oh, you get that feeling. But when you walk into the Hoover
House and even like when the guestshow up, they're like wow, you
know, they're looking just an amazementand how beautiful it is and how everything's

(25:00):
set up, and you know,it's just like this feeling a comfort that
comes over you. And then whenyou start investigating. Man, it comes
to life. Well, yeah, table tipping. You're a little intro.
You got hold of a mansion there. I've been there many times. Yeah
yeah, I've done like two orthree events there. I actually investigate there

(25:21):
back ten years ago when no likeno one even knew about the place.
Um, and I've definitely just Imean, hands down, it's amazing.
Oh yeah yeah you know, um, you know they have no paranormal program,
no more. Right, Yeah,it's it's such a shame man,
because oh my goodness, man,how how many times we've been there and

(25:44):
just the evidence that you know, you go on our archives, you know,
we got just a whole thing ofhalt of the mansion. Uh yeah
yeah. What what was you goingto say to them about that table tipping?
Um? Have you ever done tabletip before? At the Hoover House?
Dave Haney, who's a friend ofours, another team, Um,

(26:06):
they do this table tipping, whichis you put your hands on the table
and the table literally starts like tippingit first. But we were there and
literally you're everybody's hands were on topof the table and this table was literally
coming up off the floor doing this. I participated because I never did it,
and I'm like, I said,I'm one of those people. I

(26:27):
gotta have heart of it. AndI don't know if it's from being a
cop or what, but you needto show me something to make me,
make me a believer. And wesat there that night and I was there.
I was watching people with their hands. Yeah, and if anybody went
under and their hands are up here, and it literally the table is levitating
that far off the floor. Wewere white like because they were trying to

(26:48):
get join in, and We're like, we was up there. We were
we were doing an event with umI think it was Laurie Johnson and Jeff
Leeper and we were sitting there andwe're like Dave and are like now we're
good. We're good. We're justgonna observe and we're trying to figure and
so we joined in eventually, andI tell you what it's like, UM

(27:10):
like, how you you place yourhands on a Wuiji board like barely touch
and yeah, I don't know.My insides felt like they dropped when I
felt that table come up and Icould see the other three people like,
yeah, their hands are on topand literally the table's rising and I'm like
the first time, I'm like,I'm looking for fans, I'm looking for
magnets, I'm looking for I'm like, Steve, this is kid, No,

(27:32):
you can't do that. That's that'sand then literally it starts going back
and forth well and then coming upthe part that got me. And I
know this sounds crazy, man,but we scooted it out like this,
Darrel right and stood up with theirhands on the table like this and started
walking like like we were marching andit was going. Now, apparently,
do a table tipping at the bashnext weekend. We'll see if it works.

(27:53):
Yeah, I did. I didsee. Uh. Stephanie posted something
something about that that. I mean, if you never experienced that, jump
in on that that just first ofall, you can feel like weird vibes
going through you. Yeah, justweird energy. It feels weird. That's
the only way I can put it. Now, if you want you want
to experience do I just never done. I've never I've seen it done.

(28:15):
Like actually, when we were doinglive stream for Parable Warehouse several years ago,
people were doing it in this livestream and I was like, yeah,
you know, I have to bethere. I'm a lot like you
guys. I have to like, yeah, like dissect everything. So yeah,
absolutely if you want to experience somethinggreat. When you go to the

(28:36):
bash and everyone watching is sick ofhearing me talk about this, I don't
know what you're eating, habits areor whatever, but when you're at the
Wyndham Hotel, man, go intothe little bar lounge air and get a
cheeseburger. They're cheeseburgers, and thentheir morning breakfast is just I don't leave
that play. I don't leave thatplace the whole four days I'm there.

(28:57):
Literally, yea, literally, theyhave a I'm shorts increase by now,
but they have a fifteen dollar breakfastbuffet eat and you won't need to eat
the rest of the day. Man, you'll be good, very cool.
Let me tell what we go therefor, right, has nothing to do
with paranormal, and that's my nextthing with Geinsburg. I go there for

(29:18):
the paranormal, but I tell you, my true love is like all the
little pubs and restaurants. Yeah,we were actually, uh, we were
staying in Gettysburg. We were filmingin Pennsylvania when I was filming Ghost Hunters,
and the closest town was Gettysburg. We were staying in Getinsburg, and
one night we had some free timeand we found this. I mean,

(29:38):
I've been to Geinsburg for twenty yearsand I always find something new. We
found this little like hole in thewall bar on this backstreet. I love
them. And it's probably no biggerthan maybe, I don't know, one
hundred square feet. It wasn't bigat all. It was like a bar,

(30:00):
a little side rule, a pooltable, and it was the coolest
place. They're the best kind ofplaces though. And the reason I say
that, um a few years back. I guess it was about twenty seventeen
eighteen or whatever. Uh Mike Kingfrom Ghosts of Shepherdstown invited us to his

(30:22):
house for the season to premier party. So Dave and I, you know,
my theory is, it's not thedestination, it's a journey getting there.
So of course we decide, youknow, the parties that at night.
We're leaving in the morning. Youknow, we're only an hour and
a half away, so we're goingto We're gonna take a pit stop in
uh Shepherdstown. So we're going aroundtaking pictures and all that good stuff,

(30:45):
and we find this little hole inthe wall pizza Joint and Tommy's Tommy's Pizza.
We walked in and ordered a pepperonipie and it was so much pepperoni
on it you couldn't see any thingelse on the pizza. You could not
see the chie pepperoni. It's justI mean, you you like, it's
a heart attack on the plate.I love it, and uh flavor on

(31:08):
it was just outstanding. And theprice was only like ten bucks. Yeah,
I mean that they're the best bestplaces, man. I took a
couple of months ago just to getpizza. I actually stopped it when I
might go for pizza. I mean, I don't know how often, Daryl,
you get up to like the NewYork or upstate New York area,
But we were up there two weeksago. Um myself and three others were

(31:32):
doing a paranormal book lecture and Davewas out for the day. He went
to Lake Ontario and with some friendsand I was at the hotel by myself.
So I get up and start walkingup and down the main road looking
for a place to eat. Ifound this place called Sticky Lips. It's
a barbecue place. Yeah, enoughsaid man. That way and you see

(31:56):
one of them. We have aquestion from Art, where is the scariest
place you've ever investigated? Scari isUM? I put that in a bunch
of different categories because scary could canmean a lot of things. When you're
investigating UM. Scary meaning paranormal wouldprobably be either Anderson Hotel in Kentucky or

(32:23):
the House of Wills in Cleveland.Scariest when it comes to location wise,
as far as the surroundings, thepeople, UM and the actual investigation would
probably be Clifton, Arizona and probablyuh House of Wills again Cleveland. Yeah,

(32:52):
is there a place you would nevergo back to because of something that
happened? Well? That was Thatwould be Well, if you're well our
Clifton Arizona episode, that's where weactually got UM. I hate to put
this way, we kind of gotlike attacked. We were leaving the town

(33:13):
it was, and we actually somethingshot out our back tire. Oh I
remember, I remember, remember,I remember an episode. I didn't remember
that's where it was, though,Yeah, we were there. We were
filming there for fifteen days. Becauseit was such a large it was a
whole town. It wasn't just onelocation. It was like we basically you're
talking thirty forty buildings and we hadto like narrow it down to like seven

(33:37):
six or seven eight. And itwas And this is nothing against the people
of Clifton. I know we uhwe had some death threats and stuff like
that, but uh people, thepeople of Clifton were amazing people. Um.
And if I gotta set I gottakind of set the story for you

(33:58):
because Clifton, Arizona is the bloodiesttown in the wild West that no one's
ever heard of. The only reason, probably two hours two and a half
hours away, is Tombstone. Andthe only reason Tombstone got the notoriety is
because of Doc Holliday Wide Earth, those guys and the gunflay through Oki route.

(34:19):
But Clifton, Arizona was much worse, much bloodier, and it was
a murderer day. It wasn't justshootings, it was stabbings, it was
lynchings and drownings. It was itwas just a bad place, man.
The whole town was nothing but brothelsand saloons. It was a mining town.

(34:40):
It's it's still today. It's acopper mine m to this very day.
It's the world's largest copper mine stilland the operations from two hundred years
ago. We're still going on todaythere and it's this little town in the
middle of Arizona. It literally ittakes the nearest town where we stayed.

(35:01):
Our hotel was an hour and ahalf away closest. So you're driving,
you leave our little town that we'restaying in at the hotel, and you
would drive an hour and a halfinto the desert until all of a sudden
you come across you start seeing thisa little speck in the town. It's
a little bit bigger, a littlebigger, until you finally get to it.

(35:22):
It sets down like in a valley, and it's it's it's almost it's
at some points a little bit Wallas. Uh. They they're kind of setting
their ways, great people though, like they we actually they actually made us
honorary members of the board of theChamber of convers Excuse me, but there

(35:43):
was a small portion of people there, um that didn't want to stare.
And the reason being is, um, there's there's a lot, I mean,
this is a lot of this isspeculation. Someone that has to do
with drug running, Uh, someonethat has to do with there's um,
black and white witches. There there'sstill practice today we were warned about them.

(36:06):
The first second day we were there, me, Grant and Brandon,
We're standing on the street filming ascene. Like we were actually talking to
this gentleman m. A. Koush, who was the He was like the
head of the chamber of Converse there, and he was kind of like the
one who called us in. Andwe're standing in the street and where you

(36:27):
know, we had cameraps, rounds, producers and nurse you with all these
people, and this car kept drivingby on this little back street and like
he was like, we all sawit. And he was kind of like
he's like, hey, guys, like we stopped, we stopped filming for
a minute. He's like, thisis who they are, and he explained
who they were, these witches, and here, you know, we're like

(36:53):
okay. And then they drove backby and then they rolled the window down
and the lady said some things andI don't know what language she was either
speaking. It could have been NativeAmerican, but it was supposually some kind
of witchcraft us. Yeah, andshe they left, and uh, it

(37:15):
was crazy for two weeks there. It was. It got so bad the
second week we're there. In thelast three or four days. They actually
hired an entire police force from aneighboring town to come and be our our
bodyguards. Yeah, because they didthey didn't trust the police force in that
town. Oh wow. Yeah. And I'm not saying it is that that

(37:40):
was all speculation, right right.I would love to go back there some
day. I don't know if Iwould, because, yeah, we got
death threats. It was so bad. When we'd go back to our hotel,
you'd have to clear the rooms inthe hotel, every room to make
sure no one was in there waiting. Yeah, that kind of u nerving

(38:00):
man. Yeah, that's that's amazingepisode. It really did. It was
right up my alley. The typeof investigating I love to do where it's
not just ghost and paranormal, it'syou know, you get this human side
of things where and you have theparanormal side things and they clash, they
collide some time, and you getto weird mixture and it can get bad,

(38:24):
especially when people we are into likethe dark arts, you know,
and you know, the higher lowerkeys of Solomon and sigils and things like
that nature. We had sigils writtenin our cars in the hotel parking lot.
Um things of that nature. Soyeah, it got a little wild
man, a little weird, alittle wild West going on. Wow,

(38:45):
yeah it sounds like it. Itwas man. Yeah that sounds really cool
though. But yeah, I meanbecause at that point you don't sleep,
I know, and then so theparanormal side kind of messes with your brain.
And oh yeah, we were allthese approach too. I mean,
like by the second week, likeeverybody wanted to kill each other. Like

(39:07):
it was like it was constant, constant bickering and everyone's turning on each other
and no one's getting along, anda lot I had to do with the
constant stress we were under, umand everything. You know, Yeah,
I got you couldn't like to getthe hell out there and get home.
Yeah, ready to get out ofthere. But I look back on it

(39:30):
and I and it was like myfavorite episode actually, because there's one thing
I could say about that team, you know, of of of myself brand
and brand stuff or Brian, RachelleKristen. You put us under pressure,
We did our best. Yeah, exactly. We always like you put us
under the gun, We did ourbest. Like for instance, we um

(39:52):
we were filming up in Pennsylvania ata location we went there. I mean
they flew everybody in. I actuallydrove because it's only like maybe three hour
drive from me get to this location. We start filming. The first day,
we're just doing to walk through. It's being grant and all the camera
people, producers and everything that wassent to our production. You know,

(40:15):
post back in La was all lie. It wasn't it was. It wasn't
real. It was supposed to bean orphanage it was. It wasn't an
orphanage at all. It was aboarding house. It was you know,
a private it was nothing matched up. Then the whole location was full of
asbestos, so they had filming likeThey're like, they shut it down.
We sat there for two days inour hotel rooms and they're like, what

(40:37):
do we do? We got tofind our location right away, and usually
it took us about five to sixdays a film an episode. So we're
down a day and a half already, and my executive producer, just out
in La called me. It's like, hey, I need I need ideas.
I need a place And I said, I you know a lot of

(40:59):
people in this business us find mea place. I said, Madison seminary.
We could be there in six hours. He said, you got five
minutes to make it happen. Hesaid, I said well. I said,
well, I was getting out ofthe shower. I said, hey,
dude, give me a half hour. He said, no, you
got five minutes. Oh. Ihung up, and I literally called the
owner of Madison Seminary, who neverpicked up. He never picked up his

(41:22):
phone. He happened to pick uphis phone in the first the second ring,
Ilie, Hey, dude, needa favor. I need a spot
to shoot ghost unners. He's like, dude, doors open, I said
today, He's like, okay, okay. Said literally, you gotta imagine
there's there's twenty six of us onour production team on the street, on

(41:45):
the road. They packed us allup, drove from this location in Pennsylvania.
I'm not gonna be in the locationbecause I want to throw her at
a bus, drove that he leftthe hotel room, drove all way to
Madison, Ohio. Problem being iswe could the only hotel they could find

(42:07):
for us. Because it was actuallythe weekend of the uh the All Star
Baseball Game in Cleveland. They hadto put us in Cleveland, and like
this, eight hundred dollars a nighthotel. That's the only place. We're
fine with it. Like, um, I know that food was good.

(42:30):
Yeah yeah, yeah, you getthere and like you still had to drive
an hour to Madison, Ohio, which is like an hour outside of Cleveland.
But we we that was one ofthe ones we on the first season
we shot that knocked it out theballpark Madison seven Ary No, Hey,

(42:50):
look, everybody that's watching, We'renot trying to cut Darryl short. But
he's got another show to do.So I told you i'd give you the
seven forty five markets seven forty sixDar. So I appreciate you coming on,
