(02:16):
the last minute I had to cancel. I'm sure everyone's here by now.
My wife Ruby felt very ill, very fast, and wound up having emergency
surgery. But I won't go intoall that. But what I wasn't going

And I can tell you, andI mean this is as humbly as possible.
It's what got me through. Thishas been two weeks of living hell.
And you know when everyone sees onFacebook, you know when someone has

(02:57):
some sort of emergency or set backand people are sending prayers and the emoji
the praying hands. Trust me whenI tell you it works. The prayers
work. And Ruby and I she'sI read every comment to her every night
when I went over to the hospital, and thank you, thank you,
thank you, and uh, Iguess you know I would have made it

(03:20):
without our paranormal family again, sothank you, guys, and also to
our friend Deanna from uh so OsTeam Paranormal Camp. Deanna unfortunately lost her
husband the other night. So thoughtsand prayers are with Deanna and her whole
family and her closest friends and JojanNettles. Make sure you take care of

(03:43):
Deanna and send her all the lovepossible from Dave and I. So now
you gon announcement. Who's got Ihave an announcement? No, I said,
I wanted to touch on, nottouch Yea, we have a man.
We got a hell of a showlined up tonight. Our guest tonight

(04:05):

most sincere people and hard working people. She wears a variety of hats guys,
and we can't wait to bring herin. So, without further ado,
Miss Lauren Malloy, what's up?I don't even get that. I

(04:33):
usually get the fun. Thank you, thank you very much. How are
you doing, miss Malloy? Iam doing excellent, mister atwell, hell
are you? I'm good man,We're all we're all good. We're trying
to we're trying to back into theswim of things and keep it really know
how that goes. You gotta justkeep on swimming. How how's the weather

(04:55):
up there in New York today?Um, it's not bad. It's been
a little bit bolder. Yesterday itwas sixty degrees and I he stoke in
the offit I had because you know, you leave the house thinking it's gonna
winter and it wasn't. Yeah. And then today I had to leave the
house and I needed my thermals. It was about thirty so I said this

(05:15):
and I got back to the house. Yeah, it's it's it's crazy,
man, Like No. Last weekendI was traveled back and four several times
a day up to the hospital whenit was like eleven degrees, you know.
And then the other day I washeaded over and I had the windows
down, the sunroof open. I'mlike, yeah, I was like a

(05:36):
cat the stuff. You had alittle bit of sympathy there in New York.
Sorry, Yeah, how are youdoing harm like he does? Where
we got go? Heys a ray? Will be it our revenge? In
two weeks at the Haunted Ramble.Yeah, yeah, it's gonna be good

(06:00):
time. I'm not sure if there'stickets still available, but check on our
site. Miss Flora posted up Yesee if there's more tickets left. If
not, maybe we can pull somestrings. And I'm gonna hide in somebody's
back pocket because I wish I couldgo. I hate when work conflicts.
But you know how it is,well you or whatever day you were,

(06:24):
what happened last time we were there, what we were It was the end
end of the night. We wereup in this room, and we heard
before talking downstairs. And also shescreamed, well Arnie goes running down the
step to find her. Turns outshe Alreadie left. Yeah, I knew
I was only myself, and um, forgive me. I can't think of
that. The gentleman's name. Twoof us knew Laura had left because he

(06:46):
had actually walked Laura out to hercar because it's so bark where we were
at, so I didn't know thatLaura wasn't there. I didn't know,
and that's when we found the frontdoor open. But also, Ernie,
that was not the first time thathappened, because when we were at the
whatever place I can't remember, wehad somebody that kept seeking they saw you

(07:08):
and it wasn't you. And thenwe heard a voice when we were following
it and when we Laurent, I'mso glad because it's this totally slipped my
mind, and I wanted to mentionthis because we have UM In four weeks,
we're we've been asked to host aprivate investigation. A pro famous company

(07:30):
in the area rented out the mansionfor an investigation and asked us to lead.
But my point being UM, Iwas telling them the story and well,
we were at Sam Miller. Itwas me game of course, you,
Jeff Leeper, and Kelly Miller. Now Jeff and Kelly wasn't there yet,

(07:55):
Dave was out Siy. You maynot even been there yet, or
maybe you were, but either way, Dave wasn't in the building. It
was just Loren and I Amy wasn'teven there, so I was giving Loren
towards the mansion. So I said, hey, look while we're it's daylight
and we're making our way up.They have the big red curtains that you

(08:16):
string up. Yes, exactly likeLoren, and I was going in each
of the rooms and shutting the curtainspreparing for the night. So we went
all way up. And I havea crazy OTG. So every time I'm
given a task fight Ernie, Daveand those types of things, I want

(08:37):
to be meticulous, so I makefreaking sure that they're exactly I'm supposed to
be. I don't want to bethe person to let them down. So
so we go up, We goup to the third floor, We get
all the curtains shut, we comeback down to the second floor. I
go one way, Lorene goes theother way, and I hear her yellow
for me. Now, this wasour first time here, and some of

(08:58):
them rooms they do get kind ofconfusing, if not role familiar. But
Loren is like, hey, youdid shut these curtains, right, and
I'm like, yeah, we wantroom the room. But point being,
when I go into the room,Loren's like, in the archway there the
curtains were strong and again, andI was like, no, I had

(09:20):
dumb one because there was something ona team that reminded me of like an
old weird thing that I would wantto use in a movie. That's how
I remembered we were in that room. But I had to check with you
because otherwise it focus if you're notchecking with the other person, and be
like oh no, yeah, sodecarct that they were mess with that.
And then they actually moved one ofthose pieces that we had figured all the
way into another room. Remember thatwe had what was it that we said

(09:41):
that we set something on the windowsill. Oh, it was a big piece
of um plastic that was like aconnector piece almost looked like a Lego piece.
But wasn't we put on a ledgebecause it got kicked and went flying
into another room. Well, ifyou remember later that even when you go

(10:01):
to the second floor and you gotoward the back where the entrances to the
old slave quarters, yes, Iwill never forget if you the very far
back room is cowardened off because thefloor is collapsing. Absolutely just as you
enter that room. Later that evening, somebody stepped on something was like,

(10:24):
ah, I just stepped on somethingand I lit it up to see what
it was to pick it up,and it was the same piece of whatever
hell that was. I remembered thatI was the one that put it there,
because we were going to check onit later to see if it moved
again. And it was after Iripped open that slave door and I was

(10:46):
like, we're not having this lobed. You're never gonna leave this loged and
said to anything up there, ifyou feel like you dropped, you're more
than well going to leave nothing, stop anywhever. Yeah, and then you
were huge foe. And that's whenall of the time I was like,
look, I think it was thatgot pushed. He always gets and I
got it and already's like Fox's ring. I think I think it's I think

(11:09):
it's such an accomplishment for Spirit thepush day because he's so big. I'm
like, is there a parking onmy bed? You heard what happened in
the base with me me there?Right? No, I don't. I
will not go in the basement toSam Miller. I know I have to
be with you. Next time youneed the bodyguard, I'll be there.
I know. I literally I'm walkingout I have Mike putting in my hand,

(11:30):
I have my five fight and Istopped and I went, hey,
guys, just be careful and I'maiming down right down here there's a slope.
And literally, the guy behind thecamera he said, it looked like
a football player hit me on theside to begin with, knocks me into
a wall. I scraped the heckout of this. And then he said
it looked like something hit me inthe front again and went maybe go back.

(11:52):
I'm like, no, you ain'taim me for the big guy in
no more. Nope, yeah, you know, I just remember running your
I don't blame you on. Thisis the funniest thing man. We had
um April, the psychic housewife ofNew Jersey with us. We were at
the what was that place in YorkThat bar started with a R. Yes,

(12:16):
I know what you're talking about,um remnant. Anyway, do you
remember when you had your this isdirect so funny, this is such a
day moment. Do you remember whenyou had your group in the basement and
you guys saw a shadow or something? Yes, look, we got the

(12:41):
group. We got the group splitin half, right, So we've been
investigating for a while Dave's in thebasement, and you come down the steps,
you make a left, and it'sall they're in the back, and
I'm up. We were taking abreak, okay, so I'd not be
in the back of the second floorheading them back there. I look back

(13:03):
there to the right of the kitchenand then to the left of the hallway
with the door. So me andthis other guy go down this hallway and
we're standing at the top of it. But didn't you'll originally see a shadow.
Lookute. So we're standing at thebot the top of this hallway and
both was like, but that wasthat? Oh my god, we're seeing
the shadow walking back and forth. We're watching it. This was a legit

(13:26):
and it was a legiti. Sowe're just what is that? What?
What is that? Now? Yougo, Well, my Broub was on
a break too, So I decidedit that I'll go downstairs and see what
they're getting into. So I comedown the steps nice and quiet. I
don't want to interfere or contaminate anyany record. He came came home,
Nina, pardon me, I'm lookingdown the bay. I come around the

(13:52):
corner and is they're looking down thehallway I come because you know I'm always
walking fast. Yeah, is therewatching in black? Is they're watching the
shadow walking real fist down the hallwayright here. We're looking down and it
comes right at us. All Ihear, I hear Dave's scream, I
hear another guy's scream, and Ihear this thud. And when I look

(14:16):
everybody, everybody's laying on the floor. All three of us back down over
each other, look at and I'mlike, what the hell are you guys
doing? It scared the yell outof us. Oh my god. We
were looking focused down at the shadow. He comes out of the side pit
here behind us, like thing wewere We need to have you hired and

(14:37):
haunted locations in the skills for severalpeople ever, loving Jesus out of us.
But it was perfect timing because they'rethey're so focused and concentrated on watching
the shadow, and we're listening, and I just out it wasn't all It

(14:58):
wasn't all person really well, hadwe feel to allow the entire party up
front heard us. They're coming runningback to you who got murdered? Love
it? Hey, I got afunny story. It says nothing to do
with the paranormal. But on theway over, on the way over today,
you can't make this ship up.Man. I wanted to get gas.

(15:20):
I had to get gas in mycar. So I've finished getting gas.
I sit in the car for amoment, and the pump next to
me. I noticed this lady pullup. She's in a little compact car
and apparently her gas nozzle or whateveris on the side on the driver's side.
Well, she pulled up, andshe pulled up too close to the

(15:43):
pump, and she just got thisreal bewildered look on her face and she
just sat there and I'm like,oh, I gotta see how this plays
out. So I pretend I'm likeplaying my phone and I'm kind of like,
so this woman is just staring atthis gas pump and she finally opens
her door. Now she only managedto get it open like this much,

(16:04):
and I see like this leg comeout, and all of a sudden she's
gone like and I'm thinking, onmyself, you realize all you gotta do
is back up and just post sixinches away. But when I left,
she was still trying to get it. Looked like she was trapped in her
car, and I'm like, Idon't know why. I mean, forgive

(16:27):
me, I'm not making That's likewatching the trade wrecord. You just can't
turn away much. But I waslike, you can't lie about those things.
It really happens. I'm like, really, all I gotta do is
just back up a little again.Oh good, I start one. Literally,

(16:48):
they were trying to walk it allthe way around the other side of
the vehicle to try to get itin the Yeah, she doesn't make it
it. I literally got out ofmy pick up, looked at her,
mandam, We're gonna teach you something, so you stop embarrassing us. This
is no good. We can't dothis ever again. I saw a guy
call up to them, realized thatit was on the other side. So

(17:10):
what he does He comes around, looks like and you get talk wheel back
to the bull like yeah, sometimesyou just get so stuck, like you
get so focused on the take inhand that you don't see. I actually
had to tell recently. I'm like, you can tell way where your your

(17:33):
gas tanket is by looking on thefront of your channel. There's literally an
arrow with a gas symbol showing goodside your gases on. So you just
have to look in front of youand go oh arrols like this, and
people are always mystified by this informationthat makes I can't I have three different

(17:53):
vehicles. I have three different vehicles, and each one the gases on the
other side. So there's many timesgot up and like you know, and
I always have to switch vehicles becauseone of the jobs I always do so
every time, like you said,it's a different one to all hold up,
and it's always the same people thegas stations and are like sometimes I

(18:15):
swear, I have to figure outwhat you fucking in this moment, to
figure out what I'm supposed to bedoing with it. It's true, though
it's horrible. Oh my goodness, that's funny. But I don't know why
I found that. Just we say, don't buy it if you can't drive
it. No no, no,no no no. We always say,

(18:37):
teach them so they know how todrive it. Damn. That breaks the
whole nonsense. I really slowly.I couldn't. Don't buy unless you unless
you can't drive we at all. It's so funny, man. My motorcycle
friends just always tease me because everystuff. Every couple of years, I

(19:02):
buy a new motorcycle and they say, you know, for the first couple
hundred miles easy ease into the gears, breaking in. And they used to
always like we'd be on the roadonce somewhere and I'd be in the back,
you know, trying to catch up. Grat Gradually they're like, come
on, man, you gotta drivethat thing like you just stole it.
And I'm like, that's like trywith my king, my king here he

(19:26):
goes Hamitizes like about twenty road.Yeah, and you're just trying to just
be a lit like where did mygo? Not to catch up where you
guys been. I had a homeand let's see, that's my problem.
People usually have to catch up withme. I'm going sorry, sorry,
sorry, Wow, what have youbeen up to you, my dear.

(19:51):
I've been wearing a lot of hatsand trying to keep my head catched to
my head because that's a little difficultsometimes. I've been there, right,
just stape a little little bit.No, um, I actually it's one
of those weird things. I've beendoing so many different things that I feel

(20:14):
like, I'm sure it circuting someof these days. Because we went from
COVID times where everything was locked downand you had to change how you did
everything. I did two movies duringthose COVID days, how to finish them
all up, and then all ofa sudden, it feels like the world
clicked into a different cycle. Likeyou said, we're trying to get back
into the gear of everything, soto get people to want to work on
projects again and trust things and wantto go back out. It's crazy.

(20:37):
But I am working on The BedtimeKiller being turned into a TV series.
By the way, if you don'tknow, the Bedtime Killer is one of
my novels that I just won andI worked for it. I I just
finally finished it last well was aweek ago, two weeks ago. Yes,
tell us about the award that yourlatest one you just received it.

(21:02):
I'm really excited about it. It'scalled, Um Best of Long Island is
a huge deal. Um, anybodywho lives on Long Island knows Best of
Long Island because every time you gointo a restaurant or a store or a
business, there's a huge sign. They will say, you know, best
restaurant of Long Island or this sideof the other. So it's one of
those like, um, you reallywish you could get it, but not

(21:26):
many do kind of things. Sothis past year, somebody nominated me,
the company nominated me, and Iwant best Author as a January and the
best Author of twenty twenty three. And that's a big deal for me because
born raised on Long Island. It'slike a little like hey moment for all
the book. I'll tell you what, man, And I'm not saying this

(21:47):
because you're you're my friend and publisherand all that stuff. I'm being completely
honest that you know how many booksI've probably read in my life, and
you know, I just finished TheBedtime Killer, and I mean that is
you know that Tom and saying isyou know amongst my top ten, that's

(22:07):
probably amongst my top three, andfeeling and I can't you know, that's
even not enough because for right nowI can't even think of what the other
two might be. But I justbecause I've read so many books, you
know, I won't keep it humble. But if you yeah, I got

(22:29):
to give you this book, dabutif if you like suspense and just you
know, you can get so lostin this story. But the scariest thing
about reading her books is I forgetthat Loren wrote it when I'm reading it.
They're that good. They take youto that place. But when I

(22:55):
shot the book and I was like, through me one favor, remind me
to never get on her badside becausewhat I just finished came out of that
brain. But it is and shecan hide DNA. Oh oh, I
can't let me tell you what manthat book. You know how normally a

(23:18):
movie, you watch a movie andyou're like, oh wow, I didn't
see that twist coming, you know, or you read a book. Oh
I didn't see that comment, butit's like every other chapter's like every other
chapter's like, oh shit, Ididn't see that. Oh wait a minute,
there's an Oh I'm twisting back thisway. Now, I just see
that comment either, you know.So it's very good. If I had

(23:40):
the time and I'm not so busy, I would easily read that in one
sitting, you know. I meanit's that type of book I appreciate.
Trying to watch a book. Yeah, basically, you know, I'm trying
to write, I'm trying to read, you know. Um, but plus
you know coming from you and whatyou do, and you know all this
things that you already know. Oneof the reasons I was concerned about my

(24:03):
dear friend Ernie reading it is one. He'll tell me the truth, just
for all those that are watching. He'll tell me the truth. If he
didn't like, be like learn lessonand it'll be forget out it. So
but also the Bedtime Killer is abouta peeping tom turned serial killer because he
goes from a peeping tom and itjust is not enough going a lot of
peeping toms, you know. Thepsychology is it suddenly is not enough for

(24:25):
that type of personality. They needto go to the next step to get
that thrill, and that's how theyturn into either someone who hurts or whatever.
And this is one of those extremeswhere a peeping tom turned into a
serial killer. And I had tomake sure that all the crime scenes,
all the police scenes made sense toGod of it. If a friend of
mine, like a top, orany kind of police, or any kind

(24:45):
of anybody that's in any field ofany of these realms of things, even
psychology reads this and goes, okay, this makes sense, because that's my
friends who are psychologists. And ifI think, if they read this book
and go this is a piece ofcrash, this is not how it works,
I wouldn't be able to live withmyself properly, I'd be later,
should have done more research. Allthink you desert. I love you,

(25:07):
So for me, it's very importantto do the amount of research to get
why walking a Christ in a certainway works or why this mentality of up
keeping tom with this type of disorganizedmentality versus super brilliant smart keeps being able
to get away with things. Andthe premise starts with do you ever can't
how many people show up to landscapeyour property versus how many leaves nobody really

(25:33):
does? You just don't last gamesa year and then you stop paying attention
and then all of a sudden it'swell, I said, that must be
gone. That's how it starts,is what would happen? It definitely start
doing that. It definitely sucks youinto the story, man, because it
was just like you know, inthe in the midst of reading it,

(25:53):
and we will be chatting about allthe things. I'm like, man,
I can't wait to see how thisends. Like I was so anxious to
the end because I know of watchingum Lorenz films. I watched two of
her films over the past year. And the end you never turn it off
thirty seconds too soon, because youknow there's a surprise coming. And that

(26:15):
was the same for the books. But um on the one, I don't
know if I feel so silly tonightone the topic of one, the topic
of peeping toms. Did I evertell you my peeping tom story? At
work? Not work? I needto live vicariously through y'all. I try

(26:38):
to make light of things, youknow what I mean. I try to
um break the tension. So afew of us responding to a call one
night for a peeping Tom. Sowe get through the woman's house and she
was hysterical, and she's explaining, you know, I was in the kitchen,

(27:00):
I was putting the dishes whatever, and out through the window I see
it peeping. I'm like, okay, what was he wearing? I was
dark, closed, like he hada hoodle on. I really couldn't tell.
I said, so, you've neverseen this guy before? No,
you have no idea who I mightbe. No said, so, how

(27:22):
do you know his name was Tom? I kind of thought I was lightening
the moon and kind of get alaugh. But oh my gosh, she
didn't take it. It didn't goover too well. I thought, oh

(27:49):
my lord, I thought it waskind of funny. Not on a real
scene. It might have to dothat in a movie or something. I
mean, and and and and.A further investigation revealed it wasn't even a
peep of Tom. It was shesaw her neighbor and he saw a light
on, so he decided to look. It's always that kind of thing.

(28:11):
And then then's all of a sudden, Oh, the fun part is when
you were talking about the gardener.Yeah, how many coming in and come
out? I have cameras all overmy house facing the outside. Well,
a couple of a couple weeks ago. I getting alert on my phone and
it sends me a static picture. It looks like a guy walking out my
driveway with a shotgun. Oh like, oh my god. Because my daughter's

(28:33):
still there asleep, I'm calling her, get up, get up, get
up, And I'm jumping into thevideo looking at it. I forgot my
gardeners around there with leaf blocks.Jesus at me. I had a silar
thing happened. Never mind, itwas a squirrel. But he was like

(28:55):
here and he had like a handlike he was like saying hi. He
kept going. I was all right, I move this camera. This is
gonna be now. I'm moving onmoving on to the next book. I
haven't finished this one yet, butI'm reading The Storyteller of Pain. Ohhi
is also a Looy exclusive. UmI'm not that far in Thatt to determine

(29:18):
where I think it might head.I'm I mean, I'm a good couple
chapters in, but I am not. I'm still at that curiosity point,
you know what I mean. I'mpretty good at figuring out who done it
before they've done it. I'm lookingforward to reading. But see, here's
the good thing about and I'm notgiving nothing away with the bed Time Killer.

(29:42):
You know from page one who itis and what exactly they're doing.
But it's just a matter of holandwhen is he going to get caught or
is he gonna get you know whatI mean? And it's just shot where
it was from the point of viewof the police, and then there were

(30:02):
a chapter's point of view of theserial killer, then point of view of
the victims, so that you havethe three different point of views of the
conscious cycle of trying to figure outlike you know, you know, I
really, um man. I tellyou what was real intriguing and and just

(30:22):
brought everything out was when you kindof like uh, dove into his past
a little bit and his dad andI was like, I just I'm just
sitting there, like like I said, man, you know, we watched
our friends on TV all the time, and you know we might be watching

(30:44):
episode of our favorite go show andsee one like I remember when that we're
talking about this Imber. But whenI read her book, man, I
completely forgot that you wrote it.I mean it seriously, it took me
that far into it. Like Itold her, I was talking to about
book when I finished it, andI can honestly say maybe it's just me
because I'm just a book nerd. But when I was reading it, man,

(31:07):
it was like I wasn't even read. I wasn't seeing the words.
It was like a movie playing inmy brain. You know. Yeah,
and you can get the site ofsmells, the sounds and you're just but
for me, that's how I seeit. In my head. Everything is
already finished in my head and Ijust have to get it out like automatic
writing. It's all of that. And then I was saying to somebody,

(31:32):
once I have I have this thingwhere I can like macro and micro different
moments, so like seeing tassels androoms before I written it versus like grand
scale of the smell of the placewhile it's just already in there. So
it's a lot of weird stuff goingon in different capacities, and that's getting
it out on paper. But I'mglad that you said that, because that's

(31:52):
how it comes out, or that'show it's seen in my head. So
that's good. I appreciate that.Um with the storage pain, I actually
went back to a time period.I feel like I either lived through a
previous life or there's just some weirdlike coincidence. I don't know. Interest
in it because going back to theearly nineteen twentys, yes, I love

(32:15):
that too, deser I when abook sucks you in like that, going
I took the bedtime Killer back toYes, you can find all my books
on Amazon and they ship everywhere. So I was nineteen twenties to nineteen forties
kind of time period because it's thatold, tiny, historical kind of it's

(32:35):
also an insane asylum that was actuallyaround. I have always fascinated by Danvers
lnatic asylum. Now why who knowsthat? In a vyum? I mean
they're two completely different origins, differenttimeline. Always fascinated The Very Younger Self
is the first book I wrote, and I desperately always wanted to write it
into that one. So I havethese time periods where it's just I want

(32:58):
to look up all the details. With a storyteller of pain, you have
all these different demons trying to likemess with things at this psych board with
a surgeonis trying to mess with peopleat the psych board. And then an
historical flood that actually happened in reallife causing everybody to get stuck, and
what could possibly happen without a priest. That's the premise of this book.

(33:21):
So I actually did the infertile researchinto what Massachusetts and dan Verse was like
at the time. Then I lookinto the seventy two types of demons that
the certain book has, and Iwanted to make sure that I wrote it
authentically and accurately enough, but thentwisted it so nobody could get the wrong
kind of knowledge and use it incorrectly, while still trying to show little nuances

(33:44):
of ways different cultures and faiths battleagainst netidentities, native forces, negative energies
that we don't always care about, because I mean, priests been there,
done that. We've seen the moviewe've known the premise. I'm not going
to really make that feel that's perfectalready for me. Why I wrote that
one? Our audio momentarily cut out. Can you repeat all that please?

(34:07):
I'm joking so hopefully you really likethat one too? Now? Oh man,
and this, I gotta bring thisup. Um we were at where

(34:28):
were we at? All these eventsrun together when you're old, blur after
a while. Oh, we werein Strasburg, Virginia at the Parasian uh
Cohn. We were in that lastyear. It was so cool. It
was us and Jeremy Leonard from Ghostand Morgan City, Mike King everybody knows
Mike, and doctor Rebecca and ChrisTchesire who has a mini series mini series

(34:52):
getting Ready Come one Netflix called TheGhost Boy Geneseo. There's a whole was
there? Rique? So mahow?I asked, um, they were having
a like a silent auction or silentauction. I think it was, So,
I asked Lorenz. She had justI didn't even know about it.

(35:13):
She even kept from me. Um, but she had published a children's book,
a spooky children's book. So Isaid, hey, look, yeah,
I'm gonna do. This is whatI'm gonna do send me a copy
of your book because we're making aparanormally package for the Silent Auction. You
know, one of my books, one of our paranormally t shirts hats.

(35:35):
We would love to add your children'sbook to it. So, um,
I can't what's the name of theshow? Um? Oh the Ghostfinders with
Dan Class and Melody Knapps and SteveDills. Um. Well, Steve Dills
was part of the event, anduh, he saw the he saw your

(35:57):
book, and he had his childrenand I didn't know it, man,
but he's just like been been biddenon the ar was it a raffle?
But the moral of the story ishe was he wanted this book so bad
for his child, and I waslike, no, I wish I haven't
known, I'd have brought one foryou know, we already have it in
the well. Steve Dill's wound upwinning the Paranormaling package, so I'm not

(36:21):
so already deal with the paranormal inkstuff. But I know that the thrill
of his weekend was his daughter, his daughter getting that book. She wrote,
I told you that it was areally cool book man for children.
That's I like that. Yeah, that's The Creature from the Void. That
was another one that just popped intomy head and became an automatic writing.

(36:42):
And um, I had always beenfascinated and in love with this one woman's
art, Emily de Black. I'mgonna have to spell it out the top
the book. She has a veryunique lass name UM, and she has
a very unique starlet makes me thinkof Tim Burton, and UM, I
don't know if you guys remember theLenore cartoons. So I always loved those

(37:04):
kinds of styles. And The Creaturefrom the Void is basically a children's story,
was kind of a creepy edge forall the kids like me that love
grim fairy tales. But I stillneeded to have a good moral and that
book is more about how like theway we are speaking unto each other is
poisoning and draining us of the happiness, the joy, the love, and

(37:25):
it's making us sick. Where ifwe're you know, showing love and real,
you know, being caring kind,it could be energized. So I
had to be very dark ink andpen this bir always genius. I literally
gave her like the pages of thebook and told her just do whatever you
think is for that, and shecame out with the most brilliant art work

(37:46):
I've ever seen, and at theend she used so she started off with
just gray scale and pen and atthe end it's beautiful colors and like mind
blowing, like almost like trippy psychedellike beautiful whatever. And it's children fixing
the world by not following the patternsof the toxic or unhealthy that have been

(38:07):
perpetuating too much unhealthy interactions. Soyou can come to say if you want
for the private yes, sounds good. We'll have to see if I can
make it to the next one.But after that's good. Um my friend
Kathy there, um, she's theone that actually called me her companies having

(38:29):
the private event that we're hostings. No, Rambull was in two weeks.
Yeah, that is March eleventh.Okay, my brain, yeah, my
brain is just going. All I'mfocusing on is I've been I've been working
so hard these past few days whenthis next book that my brain is like

(38:51):
one part of my brain is stilltwisting and turning and the other half is
here. So as to Dave, and it's just well, your publisher is
very proud of you. So yourpr manager he's going to buipolar hey,
let me let me let me talkto on this man. Um this pop
I told you because you were talking, you were talking about asylums. Um.

(39:13):
Everyone that uh saw my my episodeon Honted Hospitals knows that story about
the ghost on the Road. Now. Originally, and I've said this in
the past, it was originally calleda gray Lady. But I guess the
ghost on the Road sounds personally changedto the road. Um. I was

(39:35):
waiting for the book I'm finishing now. The whole Handed Hospitals story that was
featured on there will be in thisbook now, just not too long ago.
Um, my coworker sent me somephotos now the hospital that I thought

(39:55):
the appearance of the woman had somethingto do with the there's a functioning building
next door to the hospital, whichis now closed. Um, it's like
doctors offices, you know, inoutpatient you go see your doctor or whatever.
Well, prior to that being there, it was an asylum. And

(40:17):
he sent me photos of it,and I got the photos on my phone
of what used to stand with hisproperty. And Laurent brought my attention when
I sent her the photos because wewere discussing the second book that you said
about the You gave the perfect explanationbecause of the they wore, the greygowns

(40:39):
and the asides that time period whenthat that that building stood there, and
that completely coincides with the episode thateveryone saw, you know, of what
we saw when we saw this woman. So it's all going to be in
there, but I had to bringit to But yeah, it was just

(41:00):
so it was a big follow upto the original story. I love that
you got pictures about it. Imean, it is so amazing that you
were able to find that because Iremember when we first were talking about the
story before it aired, you andI were talking like, well, what
was it before him? You know, we were how many properties are recycled
and those moments you wanted to liketake you know, a dusty library.

(41:23):
First, my first thought was,you know a few hundred feet from where
a lady put her own life afew years ago is where I saw the
great lady. Then up on thehospital probably is where the security officer saw
her, and the lady who hasnothing to do with anything saw her.

(41:47):
Um so of course, you know, being the road adjacent to a hospital
and what appeared to be a hospitalgown, it all was like Okay,
I must have something to do withthe hospital. But now you know,
based on the clothing, the color, all that stuff. But he wrote,
he wrote to grab clean toilets. We'll get into that in a second.

(42:14):
Everybody products that trans into mustard gas, mix them. He's okay,
but that's why I've been kind ofquiet tonight. Yeah. I could have
my lungs yesterday the hard way.But uh but yeah, but based on
what you were saying about the timeperiod and the color and the gay,
it just makes much more sense thanwhat I possibly thought it could have been.

(42:37):
So well, we'll see how itplays out. But for those that
um this comment here, uh,Dave, let's just repost that to embarrassday
of a little more. Tell us, Dave, tell us, how so
my daughter has a dance tonight.Um, she has a frank coming over.

(42:57):
Of course she wants to clean thehouse. They get impressive, her
her friend blah blah blah. Soshe cleans the bathroom. I just cleans
it. I clean the bathroom, breakby. But she wanted to be clean.
She wanted to wipe down the bowling. Make sure to show with everything,
you know, but the toilet wentbad. You're a problem. Okay,
fair enough, Okay, So Iget the outside, I'm lights along

(43:19):
the heck, guy, man,I'm sanmitizing, you know, to see
the bag and the bowl. Ihave hard part here so be so it
looked like steaming coming down because it'syeah, it's iron. So I use
a product called iron AATs. SoI usually just sprink a little bit of
the bowl and just never have thatproduct in your house. Again. Well,
no iron out, don't get mewrong. Iron not as good.

(43:40):
It works. The thing is usuallywhat I do is afterward, I flushed
to get that, and then Iuse the lights all toilet bowl cleaner.
Well I stepped out, got thebow out. That started thinner blah blah
blah, kids yapping at me inthe air. So I go back in
to finish up. I just squirtthe lights all toilet a boat later in

(44:00):
it, and all of a sudden, I'm like, I mean literally you
could almost see the fog coming outof it. It was like I literally
russ quickly. I'm like hitting thefan closed. I don't go in there.
My daughter looks me, said,Dad, you're turning blue. Yeah.

(44:22):
I'm like, I'm called called boysto control. I was amazing this
is the I mean, I couldn'tstop hacking and my my test I still
feel it in but yeah, soI decided to share it with everybody yesterday
on Facebook. Going though, Iwas stupid when we did the night's episode
because we come, you know, come help water. We were doing to

(44:45):
Night's episode because we had to cancel. I'm glad we had to cancel Santiago's
two weeks ago, and we didn'twant to cancel you because, you know,
with your schedule. But I thoughtwe were gonna be sitting here,
remember at the end of ET whenthey all come in and the white That's
what I thought we were gonna besitting here and dressed as No, he's
sending me things. I'm going ifwe have to, I'm gonna be going,

(45:06):
Dave, can you move the greenlight and turn it off? So
well, that's one thing man,in case you ever decide to completely go
crazy. Now you know how tomake Now you know how to make your
own mustard gas. Yeah no,that was not intentional. So yeah,
oops, So life was fun.Um, I can tell you're you're you've

(45:30):
lost part of your signal, loret. Your signal is getting very low,
so you're like one bar. No, that's I'm on wire. I'm wired.
We're on hard wire. We're ona hard wire. We're on a
physical cable. We still got it. Hey, tell us, I've been

(45:52):
I've been saving this for last.Tell us real quick about your movies.
Okay, So I have true. The first one is Yield, the horror
movie, and it's about a familycalled the Carnego Plan who use the nature
trails as their catch and kill themfor food. So the whole movie is

(46:15):
about um people who go in butnever come out and what actually happens,
and I might play a part orAnd the other one is the very the
Devil's Lettuce movie, and that oneeven has COVID captions and used the masks
because I was not gonna let usever forget this happened. And that one

(46:39):
is about a group of people decidesto party in a graveyard on Friday thirteenth
and one of the dudes breaks thebowl. It's all mad, goes to
take a little wee, finds askull and goes, you know what,
let's party with the skull smokes outof the skull, and all of a
sudden, the two guys that weresmoking out of the skull. Their eyes

(47:01):
start changing, they're sweating, they'regetting aggressive, and the girls freaked out.
What happens is the movie and it'sa lot of fun, and you
know I might play a part orso I don't need to do you need
to put at the end close capturingprovided to buy COVID. I didn't.
Actually, I literally have COVID captainsbecause at one part I wanted them to

(47:22):
walk into the movie wearing the masks, like we all had to watch,
like, how is anybody gonna hearwhat we're saying? If we have to,
I'm like, don't worry. Iunderstand the magic of my brain.
You see, literally it says everythingon it. And here's the muffle on
purpose, because that's all we dealtwith. For somebody who have read lips

(47:43):
all their lives are like I wanted, I did. I did watch both
Yield and The Devil's Lettuce. NowI've watched The Devil's Lettuce three times.
I gotta say both movies were outstanding, outstanding. However, I favored The
Devil I know it's not a bud, it's however, I favored The Devil's

(48:08):
Lettuce because that was more my flavorof liking. Now, for those that
like the horror in the Gore, this is what I can tell you about
Yield day being a former cop andmeeting a current cop. We have seen

(48:29):
things that our brains will never forgetand our eyes will never erase. And
we see this sometimes on a dailybasis, and it's the truth. But
there was a part in the movieYield that I literally had to pause it

(48:50):
like get myself together and started backup. And I actually I was sitting
there like I didn't even know whatto think, and I was like,
there's no way I'm gonna throw upover a film that Laurent made, you
know what I mean. But ifyou like that stuff watching watch both of

(49:14):
them. But they were both there, both bilable on YouTube for free on
my YouTube channel. Look up onYouTube and you'll find both of them on
there for free. Because I decidedat this point, look at the scrolling
down here, that's how to finderon YouTube. But I'm not taking away
from Yield. But my liking mygenre was the Devil's Lettuce use like four

(49:38):
gallons of blood as you're getting thatchainsaw. That's a good movie. See
I'm more I mean body parts fallingoff and put on your head. Like
all the three of us here,we all love this scary, spooky all
year around Halloween. But I alwaysfavored the spiritualit y and the supernatural to

(50:00):
the guts and gore. That's justmy thing, you know, Yeah,
when when you're wearing for the face, you know. Yeah. I feel
like for those that like House ofa Thousand Corpses, you'll love yield yea
for those that like, um,more of a you know, police.

(50:21):
And we actually had a guy whocreated his own bathomet costume, so which
is like a horned goat kind ofcreepy guy in a church. When he
when he made his presence known forthe first time in the movie, I
was like, man, I wasbummed because that the whole the whole church
scene, and that's just that's rightup my alley change. Yeah, And

(50:45):
just so you know, that churchhad an upsound, upside down cross before
we even got there, and therewas a skeleton, literal skeleton on the
other side already on the cross beforewe ever got there. We didn't need
to do a thing to this.I remember during production of that movie,
I happened to see some of yourphotos that you and I believe Jessica may

(51:07):
have posted and it was the insideof the church, and I was like,
it's so bad as that place isamazing. You can find it in
New Jersey. It's there somewhere still. Well. One thing I did is
I edited on the IMDb pages foreach movie so that if somebody wants to

(51:28):
look it up. Also on theYouTube channel, there's lots of us behind
the scene footage of walk through tothe church. There's one time there's a
scene from the Double Lettuce where weactually had a corner. We actually had
real emt who played in the parkand when we found that spot, I
actually walked the perimeter and you watchedme. Fine, but looks like a

(51:52):
torture shed all the way in theback and where the mushrooms are all this
stuff. And I didn't post ituntil after we had been away from that
seen for overall months. About amonth later, they discovered bodies and that
was sort of a way from wherewe filmed. A part of it was
at night, and I actually hadto have two guys who were ex military

(52:14):
to watch the property because they wasn'tgonna let guy get harmed while we're filming.
And that I had to get thefall out and you can watch that.
I can completely vouch for because duringthat hole wash she was just describing.
She was like keeping me posted alongthe way and wow, you know,
and look, when you all dowatch the Devils, let us keep

(52:37):
this in mind. Keep it ontothe very last second because it's one of
those lorene moments at the end,So you have to watch it to the
very last second thanking was yelled, otherwise you'll miss the real good moment about
a certain little something something somewhere withsomeone. If you're gonna watch this is

(52:58):
just me because I will eventually, because I love read, expect because this
is what put me in mind of. And I don't want to label your
film and I don't want to takeaway, but to me, it put
me in mind of one of thosewhere I like to call like a cult
classic, like a certain time ina year, you just rewatch that movie,

(53:21):
you know what I mean? Like, you know, I'm that way
with The Exorcist, the Blair WitchProject, Scream. They're my three favorite
all time movies. And now I'veadded The Devil's Letters to it, and
I'm gonna even though it kind ofmade me queasy in my stomach. I'm
gonna rewatch Yield, you know whatI think. For me, I also

(53:44):
made it in the mind of peoplewho would rewatch it, in the mindset
of hopefully, but so that themore you watch it there's more little details,
like there are little things where you'llsee um, you'll see where um
in Yield. You'll see that somebody'swearing a shirt for the second movie was
already promoting it. There are momentswhere there are people arguing, and literally

(54:06):
one of my books is on thebedstand. Those little things I noticed that
I know what I'm saying. Iknow the shirt I noticed, the shirt,
the book I did and I'm notgoing to say yeah, but the
shirt I did. So. Butthat's the kind of stuff I try to
keep in mind because when I watchedmovies, I want to find something new,
hopefully every time. And that's whyI try to add those little things

(54:28):
in now so um, including theyour latest children's book. That's what eight
eight books total? Or seven?Yes? Yeah? Like I think yes,
um, eight so far, andI have two more on a back
burner that I just am judgling.I can't do that and give it the
right attention at the moment because I'malso creating protection stones, like remember I

(54:51):
used to do that all the conventions. Yeah, I have, so they're
blessed and ample the everything. Andthen I started doing those again, um
I do you know and tarret readingsand then you know, do blessings and
all those things. You have aum, do you have a protection stone
or crystal that combats um like chemicalwarfare? And they decided to clean it.

(55:15):
I was waiting to see to start, I might make him fun.
It was just a biohazard symbol. At this point, I'm afraid for you.
Well, here's what I'm going toHey, you know how my mind's
always on marketing and for those likecoming to all the upcoming events of Dave
and I decided to switch it upthis year and we're premiering a new um

(55:38):
T shirt design. And what we'redoing is we're using our original logo that
only Dave and I wear. We'renow on the flashlight. Anyway, Our
new merchandise coming out is gonna havethat that logo, but now we need
to create one with like a isthere not a bite but like a mustard

(56:02):
gas mushroom cloud with Dave and Oh, I could say I hugged Mustard Gas.
I'll make it for you. Yeah, I can say I fugged Dave
silent Hey that actually you might beable to include that, and like we
could, we could come up witha new movie idea like Paranormal Investigator,

(56:28):
like poisons himself and no one wakesup somewhere. We can go so many
different directions with that. Yeah, all I'm excited. Is that mean I
get to mess with Dave bite?Never mind? Was that an offer?
I don't think you want the wayI'm talking. Oh yeah, I forgotten.

(56:49):
It's not a single singular thing. It's not a thing. You think
it's I'm murder you think, yeah, it's technically true. But now let
me no, never just spell thisdistract just smell. It's my pre just

(57:19):
my h latest book. I'm right, And I just finished the chapter today
and I was going tapping a littlebit to like fan of smells and and
you know the anyway. But nowwe can include like somebody picking up on
this, like fam smell and like, no, that's just they've cleaning something

(57:43):
again. Well, now I knowyou can go for a Halloween get.
Actually, I think the last monetI think I still got one trying to
clean again in the house. Letme tell you you want man, if
I had one of those, likeet has Matt suits, my ass would

(58:05):
have been sitting here at the beginningof the episode with that and tonight I
would have Would you needed to talkto me, I would have made sure
you had one by now, allright, it is about that time,
my dear. How can people findall yourself? Um l O r E
N M O l l O Y. You would just put it anywhere I
would probably find me YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, im um, IMDb,

(58:32):
Talk by Them, book Stokes byThem, book b I T l Y
slash for more about me. Ifyou enjoy reading, take my advice read
The Bedtime Killer first. Please rememberthere's also The Very Devil Herself, which

(58:55):
is about an immortal killer who huntsdown serial killers in sixteen hundred England.
It's also fun. Oh, Ifeel like movies. Both my movies are
on YouTube. Aren't you kind ofstarting to see like a pattern here with
her work? Like a theme?Or no? No, never, noreak.

(59:20):
I got a great idea. Igot a great idea how to create
a new I'm not gonna say HappyHorrors productions, which is Brian's company.
I'm gonna say I know how tocreate a new Loren Malloy production. Oh,
I'm gonna call you and tell youwhat Dave said about you. Oh

(59:40):
no, I'm joking. I'm joking. In the night, he'd be like,
look, man, I know she'salway in up state New York,
but I'd be damned in the middleof the night, looked like a crazy
woman looking in my window. Honey. It's never too long a drive to
have something to be accomplished. Allgotta get long here. Hi, I'm

(01:00:04):
a bow. I would never Iwould always send someone. I would always
make sure I have alibi. Comeon, that's the key, that's the
key. We love. I have. I have an al I have an
alibi and a shovel. I havean idea. Lord, thank you for

I'm not because I don't even knowwho's playing. I don't. I
want to see football cool, I'min yes, yes, that's all that

(01:01:15):
Didn't I mean, didn't there bea huge right in Philly last time?
Yeah? So I mean, Idon't know if that city wants to take
that. They're gonna win. They'regonna win. The only thing I like,
I'm a big I mean, I'ma big sports guy. I love
sports, but I'm not like onewalk around watching ESPN. But the one

(01:01:35):
thing I am excited about is overthe next couple of weeks the pitchers and
catchers from baseball or to be reportingto UH Sara Soda for spring training.
So I'm a huge Ruby and Iboth are a huge Baltimore Orioles fan.

I believe that when you (yes you) feel seen, heard and understood you’re able to deal with relationship struggles, work challenges and life’s ups and downs with more ease and grace. I interview experts, celebrities, thought leaders and athletes so that we can grow our mindset, build better habits and uncover a side of them we’ve never seen before. New episodes every Monday and Friday. Your support means the world to me and I don’t take it for granted — click the follow button and leave a review to help us spread the love with On Purpose. I can’t wait for you to listen to your first or 500th episode!
