A is the significant other, or bride, so to speak,
of our Dnkenstein's Monster. We sewed together a bouquet of
Citra Idaho seven Cascade, cashmere strata and Amarillo to create
a beer that is lighter and more fruit forward than
her more monstrous other half, although sure still the Electrify

(01:10):
seven cent alcohol by volume average score three point eighty
three out of five on untapped out of three thousand,
six hundred and twenty nine ratings. Sweet. Yeah, so I
think we need to find Dankinstein's the monster.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
Now, well we'll see.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
I didn't even see it this year. I haven't, you
know what I mean, only saw two. I saw a
nightmare fuel with beetlejuice on it. Yeah, And then I
saw this and I was wanting this and we talked
about it.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
It's like, all right, it's hoppy. There's something about like
that et cetera.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Is it you say, mosaic hops two?

Speaker 4 (01:46):
God, there were so many No, no, No, Citra Idaho
seven Cascade, Cashmere Strata and Amarillo. Is There's something about
like smelling a really hoppy beer. It just gives me
the warm and fluffy butterflies, like you know, like the
first time you like eat your first crush.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Right, it smells juicy, like super juicy. Look at the
color on this thing too, you know it's translose. I
was watching our guy from Louisiana Beer Reviews.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
He goes, it's translucent.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
It's not transparent, you can't see through it, but it's translucent.
I go, ah, there we go. I was like, my man,
but yeah, this.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
One, Oh my god, it's a great looking color. Cheers, but.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
We've been slamming beers instead of actually just sitting there
and drinking them and enjoying them.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
She really smooth. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Would you say the IBus were and a is what
it says?

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Oh yeah, they're so damn how they can't. But I
wouldn't say. It's really it's like I said, it's very
fruit forward.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Yeah, it's juicy.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
It's fruity, juicy, fruity. Let's put the back end, the
bitterness on the back end.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
You know.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
It keeps reminding right, this is a West Coast I'm
not mistaking at West Coast, I PA. So it's going
to have that little that kick towards West coast single.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
Yeah it ah, that's that's really good.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
I just want to be a sipper, just want to
I just want to sip it. Uh we got us
on Ah that's sixteen, so seven percent of Alcopo volume. I
don't have anything else on here. Artwork by Billy Daggers
at Billy Daggers.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Well that's kind of cool. I don't see a.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Lot of people tagging the the actual artist that's neat
and electrifying. West Coast, India Pale double feature. Yeah, Bruden
Cane by Mason L.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
Works.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Mason you go uh at Mason L Works and in
San Diego, California.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
How about that?

Speaker 2 (03:41):
I love this can dude.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
I like it. Just it's awesome. It's it's pretty cool. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Her eyes they they sparkle. Yeah, it's electrifying.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
Yeah, I like it.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
You watched the franken Stin or Brider Frankenstein or that
frank Stin Martin.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
I mean it's been like, I don't know, ninety eight years.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
I fire them up and I just kind of sit
there like, okay, cool, I'm sure this was cutting.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
Edge back then. Yeah, you know what I mean. Chris
was telling me on Amazon Prime they have the original
uh notes for some Yeah too the Silent movie, because
the original one was a silent Is that one silent?

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Yeah, it's the picture of him as the cover art, right, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
So I didn't go check that one out.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
I hadn't looked at.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
That one, and I watched you know, I like watching
movies like that right around now obviously in like October.
But yeah, it's like, I I like, there's the swamp thing,
the monster the Blue was it.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
Sponsor from the Blue Blue Lagoon? Swam Thing's a comic
book thing.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Yeah. And so there's all these different like movies out there,
like from like the thirties and forties and fifties.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
I think, like the whole awesome Paramount movie, Monster Universes
all that.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
It's all it's all on Amazon.

Speaker 4 (04:54):
Yeah, that's awesome, all the original stuff, and they're they're
working on redoing a lot of them and and some
newer versions and stuff.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
So we'll see what that does.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
But I mean, it's you gotta do something, I think,
I think bringing back.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
There's such a great character like you just but you
got to do it right, right, That's the thing.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
It's like they they tried to do some Mummy thing
with like Tom Cruise or something like that, and let's
just not do that.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
That just sounds awful. Let's not.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
That sounds terrible. But yeah, give me, give me some
classic monster movie. You know, that were Wolf They just.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
Had a were wolf that came out last year.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
I think the cocaine Werewolf thing that what was the
werewolf one that we watched welf It was one that
was like some rando you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
Wear cop or something wolf cup?

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Yeah, bring it, you know, I mean I like I
like those, but yeah, you gotta do it right.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
Just come on, man, let's yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
I want to end it because they're classic figures.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
I'll tell you a movie I will like to see them. Redo.
Did you ever see the old Monstro Squad movie? Yes?

Speaker 1 (06:04):
I don't remember a lot of it, but every time
I fire it up, I go, oh, that's the kids
from Blah blah blah.

Speaker 4 (06:09):
And it's funny because like the last time I fired
it up, the oldest and she was younger then, right,
and I was like, oh, this movie was great.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
I remember watching When as a kid.

Speaker 5 (06:19):
Yeah, and they cussed so much in that movie, and
I'm just like, oh crap, Like this is when When
the Oldest She was younger too, and so it was
like I had found it on like Blu Ray for
like five bucks at Walmart.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
I was like, oh, we're watching this tonight, and this
is like, oh yeah, I remember that being good. And
then we're watching I'm like, oh oh, and it's like PG,
like it's like PG or maybe even PG.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
I was just like, oh, oh god, it much for you.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
I was like, I mean, I was okay because as
I'm watching it was like my seven year old.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
I'm like, I want to see what it So that's
from oh I said ninety three, it's eighty seven?

Speaker 2 (06:59):
Uh the rating on here a group of twelve year
olds for me, where the hell's PG? Thirteen?

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (07:07):
Yeah, things were different back then, Like you know what
I mean, it's like, eh, let it rain.

Speaker 4 (07:14):
It was like, oh, I was like, oh god, all right,
that's I mean, we're already pot committed in this.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Oh God, I gotta say how it ends. But yeah,
so back to the beer real quick. Bride of Dankenstein. Uh,
looks great, smells great, actually had great carbonation to. I
didn't worry about it like blowing up on us or
anything like that. As you see it's starting to get
a little bit more translucent. But yeah, you can definitely
see right through this from the top and that he's

(07:39):
still good. You can.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
It's not dressed down in the glass act you like,
you get a little bit there.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
A little bit, but that's also like just from some swirls,
right yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
Yeah, it it carbs right up and it's nice perfect,
smells great, taste great to really I like that fruity flavor.

Speaker 4 (07:54):
Yeah, and that's what they're talking about. Like right here,
it is like the lower Ibu combined with the hot
blend of Citra. All the those results in a beer
that's more fruit.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
Forward and less bitter.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
Oh buddy, here we go.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
Bubbles will get you. Yeah, you know, hey, cheers Jersey
out there.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
There you go. Don'tee anything falling behind. So obviously it's
a filtered beer. Don't get anything. I don't have anything
left in the glass like floating around.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
That is, there's no date on this, so we can't tell.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
There's nothing on the bottom. Now, it's obviously from this year.
That's one cool thing I like about these cans. I
like about this this brand too. Mason Networks has some
really cool can art, but you know it's from this
year because it does. The can changed a little bit. Yeah,
and I remember her from last year, but I didn't
have that side profile that it was more of the
front there heard like you know, from a portrait standpoint.

(08:47):
But uh, but yeah, I can are ten out of ten,
Oh yeah, for sure.

Speaker 3 (08:52):
For sure. It's got a comic book look to it, yeah,
which I like. Yeah, I definitely love it. You got
the little a lot for finding things. But with the
hops on the top, you know, because they just brought
her to life and uh little Tesla towers and what
they're called. Yeah that's right. Yeah, yeah, good job buddy,

(09:12):
Jesus what just tell you good job?

Speaker 4 (09:15):
Sorry you suck?

Speaker 2 (09:16):
How about that?

Speaker 3 (09:17):
That's before let us know what you think.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
And would you yes, let us know. As always, I'm
allan talk to you guys later.

Speaker 3 (09:28):

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
