Speaker 1 (01:22):
Alrighty, thank you guys so much for joint rejoining us.
Hopefully everything will go through a lot smoother. I apologize
for the interruption. There are storms in the area, so
not quite sure if I don't believe it was the

(01:42):
the old Mayhem machine. She's open reading just fine. But
maybe maybe I think we got We can have this uninterrupted,
and I can stop having so many squirrels popping up here,
too many grimlins. So let's say cheers to being back

(02:07):
on the air. Alrighty, folks. So you know, we were
talking a little bit about the Loud and Local festival
before the live stream was interrupted. We featured one of
those bands, Oklahoma Blood, and then we were also talking

(02:31):
about the next event that's going to be on the
horizon this month. We the next event for everyone to
show up and show out for Surviving Rocklaholma ten years
of Mayham, a special event, a celebration, if you will,
of the Roklahoma community. We have been doing this since

(02:54):
two thousand and fifteen, which later on evolved into a podcast,
a full fledged podcast, and then six years ago we
expanded on and brought it in our own personal photographer
and it has been an incredible journey over the last

(03:15):
decade of decadence. I guess you could say we are
hoping everybody will be joining us, especially the Rocklaholma family.
And speaking of we have been inviting a lot of
the folks that make up the Rocklaholma campgrounds from where
we get so much support, including throwing a bit of

(03:43):
a swag swap. Now, what the world is a swag swap,
you ask, Well, other than being extremely difficult to pronounce
while a live microphone is in your face, it is
basically an opportunity for all of our friends to get

(04:05):
together and represent your camps. Now, a lot of us
like to go all out, and we like to decorate
our campsites and invite friends over to come and party
with us, and just put our own personal flare on
where we stay at those festivals. Now, some of us,

(04:26):
such as Camp Marty Grass, we also are excited to
have some wristbands and stickers and things that we like
to share with our other friends. And a lot of
friends like to do the same thing. So this is
a great opportunity for everybody to represent your camp come

(04:47):
together and party at the shrine, and you don't have
to worry about throwing your events, or all of those
other things that keep us all so busy and pulled
in a million directions that busy, busy weekend at Rockaholma
Labor Day weekend. Now, in addition to all of this, folks,

(05:09):
we are going to be having a photo booth courtesy
of photography by Angel Lee, our own rebel. Angel is
going to be setting up a photo booth inside the

(05:32):
VIP area where is normally somewhat restricted inside that venue.
Also up there, we will be having super short interviews
with some of the bands, are sponsors, and other folks
that we partner with and collaborate with. They're at Rocklaholma

(05:55):
and throughout the Rockaholma community. Now, in addition to this,
Angel will also be having an auction for a twelve
hundred dollars boudoir package. And as I was saying at
the beginning of the first attempt live stream tonight, guys,

(06:22):
this is an amazing gift for your significant other or
just a gift to yourself. I mean, who doesn't want
to look like a freaking model in your own photos
for which you can share at your own discretion, super

(06:44):
tasteful and professionals. She also has other surfaces available as well,
but that's one of the auctions that she's going to
be having that weekend. We are also putting together some
bags for auction or raffle. So since you're going to

(07:05):
be bringing your swag up for the swag Swap, you
might as well help us put together some swag bags.
So if you are a camp, or a business, or
just someone who would like to kick in on these
gift bags at the event, shoot us an email Surviving
Rockklahoma at gmail dot com. Now with that being said, folks,

(07:32):
we've got another musical feature for you all, and I
want to take advantage of the live stream working so well.
Now let's go ahead and give you a taste of
another band that has an event coming up. Let me
see when is this Okay? I had my notes. Anyway,

was ARCon with social program. You can see them in
a couple of weeks at the t LP show coming

of the DR twenty twenty five show featuring authors of Fate,
she Hates Me Not, and that band that you just
watched r Con. The show is twenty dollars in advance,

(14:18):
twenty five dollars the day of once again. That's coming
up here in a couple of weeks. Thanks again to
she Hates Me Not and TOLP for putting that on
our radar. They rocked the box by submitting their gig
and letting us know where to go to find some local,

(14:39):
local music. And it is going to be a heavy,
heavy show. And speaking of shows, as those of you
who have been struggling to keep up with us all night,
we've had our own technical grimblings that have been running
rampant on the show tonight. But I found some old

(15:01):
runchata and I'd believe they are pacified at the moment,
so we're going to have a smooth show for the
remainder of the evening. And we have been talking about
a couple of local events once again loud and local
coming up this weekend. This will be where I will

(15:22):
be this weekend and I hope to see a lot
of you folks out at the American Legion here in
Muskogee for two days of local music. You can also
see Arkhan May fifteenth at the Chimera and I also
have a list of events here. What else do we gone?

featuring featuring RockA Holme, artists from past including The Normandyes

(16:06):
Even in Death, and this year's debut local act Crimson
Love for their first time on a Oklahoma stage. Hey Doug,
what do you think of Crimson Love? Yeah, they're going
to be a rock in the DV concert stage inside

(16:27):
the Roadhouse. After that, we've got another She Hates Me
Not show that is also including Crimson Love, Teyrannis and
Circus that's going to be an awesome event that's going

(16:49):
to be taking place at the Vanguard and let's not
forget after Rocklaholma and Born and Raised. There's also a
free festival going on in stigm Oklahoma called Rock the

(17:09):
featuring locals in Fall Copper Steels, She Hates Me Not

(17:56):
family friendly environment though, folks. We will have bouncers from
Adam's Backyard Bouncers out there that weekend as well for
the kiddos and the Big O' buss will have some
family fun, family friendly affair as well. So I can't
wait to see what comes together for Rock the Equinox.
