Tristan Saint Reynolds is an author, actor, model, and spiritual

(01:18):
creator known for intuitive works such as The Cryptid Whisperers,
Oracle Deck, Cryptied Whisperers, the book, which has been featured
on the cover of several publications and contributions to Brains
Magazine as an executive contributor, and Tristan is whether it's
here or just now? How are you today?

Speaker 2 (01:37):
I am I'm a white I'm good, I'm alive.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Well, yes, because we were just saying, it's about quarter
to five in the morning for you, that's like airport time. Yes.
So let's start with some of your work in front
of the camera. What was it that drew you into
the world of acting and modeling. Was there a particular
aha moment that made you think that that your path?

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Well, I never really saw it as sort of my path.
It was more I have this thing where I always
say I aspire to inspire people. So, no matter what
it is, if people say he can do it, oh,
I can do it too. So it kind of became
an accident. I just you know, I started doing it.
I was going to actually become a professional wrestler, I thought.

(02:23):
So I deviated and thought, well, people think I'm attractive.
They always talk about how I look rather than how
smart I am. Although I am quite smart.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Yes, and you've been on the cover of several publications.
So how different is the energy of a photo shoot
compared to being on a film set. I mean, do
you prepare differently?

Speaker 2 (02:45):
I definitely do. I prepare differently, but I also have
the same So I guess there's this idea that when
you're on the cover of a magazine or if you're
on the set of a film, you have to look good.
So I tend to prepare myself physically by eating really

(03:05):
really well and looking after my skin. But I guess
the difference is with a photo shoot is you don't
have to get into a character so much, rather than
you just have to know what the product is or no,
I guess your angles and things like that, because they
can photoshop your skin and everything, but they can't, you know,

(03:27):
make cuts like they would on a camera.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
Absolutely, And you're a crypted Wespers series on the book
side of things that blames mysticism, folklore and personal intuition.
So what was the first Well, how did that idea
come about? Initially?

Speaker 2 (03:44):
So it was you hear these stories all the time? Oh,
you know, during COVID nineteen, I had this big revelation.
So during COVID nineteen, I was spending a lot more time,
I guess, sitting in my stuff. And I was always
quite drawn to all that, and you know, the readings
and all that. And I had someone say to me, oh,

(04:07):
you could never make an oracle deck, and I said, oh, okay,
and then it was more of a you could never
make one, and I just went, well, actually I can
so than I did. And that's actually it was. That's
that's all it was, was someone saying you can't, and I.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
Said, well, I can absolutely, And you call yourself a
spiritual creator as well, So how do you balance that intuitive,
otherworldly side with the demands of I guess, publishing, performing
and being in a business.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
So the funny thing is I've never personally called myself
that that was that was a few publications have, and
it's just kind of stuck. I just I'm just like,
I'm a regular dude, and so with this spiritual it
kind of it's funny because some people think of it

(04:57):
as it's not like, oh, it's a bit weird. But
the way I balance it is, you know, I just
lived my life as I normally would. You know, you meditate,
you do all your things and it's just part of
my practice. But I don't try to make it like
my identity. You know how Sometimes you've got those people
who they're they're this way of being and it's like
it's the only thing they are. Like I tend to

(05:19):
try and balance it all as in, like, this is
part of who I am, but it's not the only
thing that I am.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
Absolutely, And what's one cryptive thing that doesn't make it
into your oracle deck but should have?

Speaker 2 (05:34):
I mean, there's lots of things that should have and
could have, but I was I was more at the time.
I was like, you know, I just I worked on
more so than number, so I could have fit so
many things in there. But when I made it, it
was based around have you heard of like angel numbers
stuff like that, So it's more around the number thirty one.

(05:57):
It really felt important at the time. It was like
it was relevant to I guess my time in life.
It's meaning all that sort of stuff because it's around creativity,
change in progress, and for me it was it was
my first big creative outlet. There was a change happening,

(06:17):
and I felt like I was progressing in my life.
But I guess if I was to answer that there
are things to come which maybe didn't make it in there,
that may make it into something else soon.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
But that's exciting and in the world of music as well,
you've depth into that with a new album. So what
can you tell us about that briefly?

Speaker 2 (06:41):
Well, that also was you couldn't do that thing. So
it was during we had this this big cyclone or
supposed cyclone, like I wasn't affected in Australia, so it
was not long after. Earlier in the year I went
to a Kylie Minogue concert and someone was like, oh,

(07:03):
you know, Kyler Minogue's really great and I was like yeah,
and they're like, oh, you could never do something like that,
and I was like, well, well, if you say that
I could never, maybe I should. And it was more
of that. So a lot of the time it's someone
saying I couldn't do something, or if you put a
little bit of doubt somewhere for me, I will probably
most likely try to do it. So I made two

(07:25):
songs and then I put them up on Spotify, and
then I had lots of listens in the first couple
of weeks, and I went, well, now I have an audience,
I think, so I should probably do something with that.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
Absolutely well, You've done so many things already, modeling, acting, writing,
and music. So is there an area that you'd love
to Dale Vinta that you've not tried yet.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
I mean, if you look at my certificate filer, I've
done finance, I've done a lot of stuff I would
like to I'd say that if there's something out there
someone thinks I can't do and they would suggest it
and it's ethical and moral and it would you know,
inspire someone to strive to be better or to move

(08:11):
forward in a certain direction, I'm totally totally game to
try it. But otherwise, you know, I'm pretty happy moving
forward in the world of you know, creating publications and
modeling and acting, and you know, I'd like to be
probably a little bit more step deeper into that acting world.
Possibly that might you know, capture a slightly deeper audience

(08:34):
because I've been in it, but you know, there's there's
still a missing audience there of people that could be inspired.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Absolutely well, in the meantime, where are we able to
keep up to date with you and find out everything
that you're working on.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
I mean, my Instagram's open for the public to see,
so they could always look at me on Instagram. There's
a few different you know, websites and places people can
see me, like Brains Magazine. I'm letting articles out as
regularly as I can, and I think that they're the
main two places. Like I mean, if you look me up,

(09:09):
you'll find me somewhere.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
That is.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
That is what I've I've discovered recently that you know,
the internet seems to hold a lot of information on people.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
Yeah, that's true. Well, many thanks for joining us today
and I'll let you get back to sleep.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
Note thanks so much.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
Fridays for celebration, good times and relaxations. Will turn the
radio up and just listen.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
Listen.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
If you've got that Freddy feeling, you'll soon be tensing
on the ceiling. I'll be because of your host, Toby Graham.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
I guess some brilliant miss fantastic.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
Tommy is terrific and this feature is a classic. Soon
it's reach now.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Heights, it's start though we can right, Thank god it's Toby.
