Good morning, Welcome back to the Morning Devo. So cut
off access, don't manage sin, don't manage sin, don't tolerate sin.
Eliminate the opportunities for it to control you. Right, So,
if you just are in sin management, behavior management, then

you're just allowing that sin to stay and to control
you eventually because you're just tolerating it, you just managing it.
We're gonna hit a scripture today that our Lord Jesus
Christ spoke out of his own mouth of how we
should be dealing with sin. Matthew, Chapter five, verses twenty

nine and thirty. A man is going to be an
eye opener for Morning Devo. But we're here and we're
opening our eyes, Amen, And it's powerful the way the
Lord responds to the situation and to the issue of access.
We need to cut off access to the things that
promote death, to the things that promote violence, to the

things that promote temptation to the things that promote insecurity,
you know, things along those lines. We need to cut
off access. And it's not as hard as you might think. Amen,
Matthew five twenty nine and thirty. If you have any questions, comments, concerns,

have mercy on us, Amen, as we are seeing things
to the left of us, left to the right of us,

things that are not right, things that are that we're
dealing with in our own personal life. We have issues
with our finances, relationships, our children, just people in general
that are not responding to your gospel message. So much
going on, so little time, Amen, that we need to

get some things done. But God, you are faithful to
your word. Your word never returns back to you void.
Your word is full of power. Your word is more
than energy. Amen. Your word is true. Your word is faithful.
Your word transforms. And we rely on that word, the
word that you give us, the word that we're going
to read, the word that you spoke, the word that
you encourage inspire others to speak to another person. Thank you,

Lord God, for your power. I pray a hedge you
protection over every single person listening and watching right now,
over myself, my family, my wife, our children, our grandchildren,
both sides of our family, from the very oldest family
member to the very youngest family member, and every single
person in between. That, Lord God, Holy Spirit, you would
touch their lives with holiness, but righteousness, with grace and

with mercy. And you would do the same for every
single person on the other side of the screen and
on the other side of this mic. We come to you,
Lord God, willing to learn, willing to listen, willing to
try to apply what we learn today so we could
cut off access to those things that try to promote
in our lives, and we come against those things by
the power of Your Holy Spirit. We dispatch arqueen angels

right now to annihilate the tactics and eliminate the tactics
of the enemy over our family, over ourselves, over our nation.
In Jesus Holy Name, we praise our faith and those
who agree with this prayer. We say Amen to the Amen.

Jesus Christ. It's amazing how God could use anyone for

accept the challenge, accept the mission that he gives us. Amen,
because we're already commissioned. We don't need permission. You don't
need permission, or I don't need permission to do what
I'm doing Right now, a man, We're commissioned to do
what we're doing. Amen. God will give us what we
need to get what He wants done through our lives.
That's powerful. Right gives us the strength to do it

as well. So let's go for it. Cut off access,
cut it off in the name of Jesus. Amen. Let's
follow what the Lord says. Let's follow how to do this, Amen,
Matthew Chapter five, twenty nine and thirty. The Lord says,
if your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out,
and throw it away, it is better for you to

lose one part of your body than for your whole
body to be thrown into hell. And if your right
hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw
it away, it is better for you to lose one
part of your body, then for your whole body to

(08:44):
go into hell. Wow, this is our Lord speaking. Amen,
cut off access right now, the name of Jesus. Cut
it off, cut it out, cut it off. I want
to explain what this really means. Amen. This is of
course an analogy. Please don't think that the Lord literally

(09:07):
is telling us to gouge out our eye or to
cut off our arm, cut off our hand. Please, this
is a powerful way of the Lord dealing, helping us
deal with sin, because remember, he himself did not sin, right,

(09:30):
the Lord Jesus did not sin, never sin, never will.
It's holy set apart perfect. I want to let let
you know that right off the hand, about off the back,
because I'm going to explain that this scripture amen, because
if you take it literally, if you take that literally, amen,

(09:53):
that's not going to be a good day for you
or for me. We took this literally. So if you're
the right eye causes you to sin, Jesus said, gouge
it out and throw it away. It is better for
you to lose one part of your body. Think about it.
It's better to get into heaven. Even though we're gonna

(10:15):
be restored. But think about it. Get into heaven one arm,
one hand, one eye, then to be thrown into a
place separated from the Lord Jesus and the goodness of God,
separate from Him for all eternity, with everything intact right.

(10:36):
That's why I believe Jesus said, listen, if you hold
onto your life, you're gonna lose it. But if you
let go of your life, gain it. In other words,
if you want everything your way right, if you let
selfishness rule your life, you're gonna get what you get
according to how you want it or how I want it.

(11:00):
And if you're honest, that's not good all the time.
That's not good for all eternity. I should say. The
only way that we should be living is the way
that the Lord wants it to live. The only truth
we should know to live by is the truth of Jesus.
And the only life that we should be a part

(11:22):
of or wanting the most is the life of Christ
living through us. They abundant life for this side of eternity.
So cutting off access to temptation, cutting off access to sin,
cutting off access to just think these things that lead
to death. Think about things that lead to death, Jesus

(11:44):
didn't tell us to try harder. He said to take
radical action when something causes us to stumble. Think about it.
I'm a little radical at my ways. Amen, what'spill you?
As some of my spiritual sons can tell you that
I get radical in certain situations, especially when it deals

(12:06):
with sexual sin. Amen, we don't play, Amen. I ask
them to do certain things that are radical in their
lives to eliminate those things. Why because I know how
to deal with it, because I've dealt with it right,
and I'm not saying I'm done dealing with it. I've
dealt with it in radical ways. And in my testimony,

(12:26):
if you know it, you know I had to do
some radical things to take me away from my old
sinful nature when it dealt with sexual temptation and sin. Radical.
So this is what Jesus meant. Before you make little
clips of this and say, look, Christians are saying that
you need to guide your eye out and cut your

(12:47):
hand off, and then they'll put that, you know, and
use it for evil ways. But I'm gonna explain this
so that way we all know, Amen, that if somebody
takes a clip and only quotes me from the scripture
of what I say that it leaves it there. It's
going to sound like that we're literally believing that the
Lord wants us to guide out our eye and chop
off our hands. Jesus wasn't calling for self harm. Jesus

(13:12):
is not calling for something that Momo would tell kids
to do on the internet. Jesus was calling for self discipline.
The difference, he wasn't selling or mutilate yourself, you know,
do this to your body, guige your eye out, cut
off your hand. No, he wasn't calling for self harm.

(13:34):
The devil is a liar. Jesus doesn't want us to
harm ourselves. He doesn't want to harm us period, doesn't
want us to hurt. He has a plan for us
to prosper. He was calling for self discipline. He was
showing the seriousness of sin and the urgency of dealing
with it. All that. Now, deal with it, now, cut

(13:56):
off access, don't play around, hey, man. Know the flesh
is like, oh no, this is cool, man. Let's just
keep thinking about it. Let's just keep on doing this,
that and the third. That's pleasurable for the reason, for
the season and for your flesh. I know everybody deals
with it. Don't think that preachers, evangelists, apostles, pastors, teachers

(14:19):
don't think that they don't deal with that. They're all human.
I don't understand why certain people think, and my timer
is gone, Amen, that some people are exempt from this.
I don't. I don't. I don't understand that when no
one's exempt, we don't. No one gets a past. What

(14:42):
we do have, though, is the word to help us
through things. Amen. And we don't have to act like
the world, because we're not. We're in this world, We're
not of this world. Amen. Don't manage sin. Eliminate the
opportunities for it to control you and to control me.
So if you know something triggers you to think like

(15:06):
you used to think in always like for instance, I'm
a DJ music, I have to be careful with music.
I listen to music all the time, listen to new
music that's coming out so that it could be on
the cutting edge of things when I do my DJ services.
But I can't listen to certain music any any longer. Right.
I don't listen to gangster rap, I don't listen to

(15:29):
twerk music. I listen to some house music that reminds
me of X Y z hey man. So I gotta
be mindful of music is powerful. Right. When you know
something triggers, you don't flirt with it. Run from it.
First Corinthians six'. Eighteen read it for. Yourself First, corinthians
chapter number, six verse number. Eighteen so when you give

access to, something, anything it could Be i'm going to
give access for this person to you, know steal from
me Because i'm gonna leave my door card door open
and leave My i'm gonna leave my house door, open,
Amen And i'm just gonna leave it open so that
way when the thief comes, around they'll be, Like, wow
the door is already, open And i'm gonna leave all

(16:14):
my stuff. Out i'll even put it in in boxes
ready for it to. Go and if you're like, wow
this person really is giving me, access this is. Easy
you Know i'm gonna come here later on and get more.
Stuff don't give access to a. Thief don't give access
to a. Liar don't give access to an. Abuser don't
give access to a. Manipulator don't give access to someone

who's tempting you to send more and more and. More
cut it. Off so when you know something, triggers you
don't flirt with. It run from. It, so when you're
tempted to do something apart from What god has told
us to, Do jesus, said, listen if you're watching things
that you shouldn't be, watching cut it, out cut it,

off cut it, out cut it. Off and the figure Is.
God rot your. Eye don't look at those. Things the
more if something's causing you to touch some things that
you're not supposed to be, Touching, amen cut off your,
hands cut off your. Hand it's a figure of. Speech
radical figure of. Speech but it's a figure of speech
BECAUSE i, Said jesus wasn't calling for self. Harm he

wasn't commanding harm. Yourself, no he's calling for self. Discipline
self control is the fruit Of Holy spirit living within. Us,
amen the fruit of holy. Spirit if sin keeps knocking
at your, door it's time to ask some. Questions why

does it know where you live and WHERE i? Live
the same sin keeps on, Knocking, amen give it access
to keep on knocking out our hearts or our. Minds,
right think about. It if it Ain't god given, Access
devil's not in our. Lives the more like he's. Manipulating

he can't control. Us who's really giving access to these
sins and these. Temptations the temptation only has power when
it has. Access, right you can't defeat what you keep on.
Feeding you can't stop what you keep on. Inviting you
can't kick out what you're. Inviting in, right you can't

protect yourself from something that you're leaving yourself wide open.

the website we're visiting that's causing us to be, tempted,
right and giving access to the, enemy giving access to the,
flesh giving access to people promoting death to, us and

we're giving access about this social media accounts you, follow,
Bro like literally every other, Month i'm like deleting People
i'm following people is crazy Because i'm, like why AM
i getting these on my. Feeds true. STORY i took
like it was like three and a half four. Hours
and during the, SUMMER i was, putting not interested in

a whole bunch of raunchy videos that kept on popping
up on my. Feet AND i THINK i did. Good like,
now maybe two or three times some raunchy videos would
come up on my, feet you, know when you're just.
Scrolling but now you, know you, know it's crazy now
getting raunchy feeds In chinese and In spanish from the other,

countries because they're going to keep on feeding you and
feeding you and feeding you and feeding you until you
click on those ads and until you buy something off
those ads that are on those launchy. Videos it's a NonStop. Thing.
Man don't think you do it. Once you clean up
your social media accounts once and, okay that's. It i'm,
good smooth. Sailing yeah, Right they're gonna keep on sending

you more and more and more of the. Garbage how about,
this the friends who pull you back into your old.
Habits we talk about this all the. Time the men
Of god talk about this all the. Time me and
my little brother In, christ we got together. Yesterday we
talk about that all the. Time we can't let people
pull us, Back, amen into the same situations that we

just came out, of or that we don't want to
be a part of the. More. Amen. Right we could
still hang out with the same people for a, little
for a limited, time but let's surround ourselves with people
who Love, god who love, Us, amen who are about
the life of living and the light night in the,
dark who are about living on righteous you, know at
least trying. To because if we keep on hanging out

with the people who is every day's gloom and, doom
they're still in the. Struggle they don't want nothing, Good,
amen they want to harm other. People then we're going
to be influenced by that and, eventually one way or,
another we're going to become those. People so the friends
who pull you back into old, habits maybe it's, That
maybe it's the, music the movies or environments that kind

of like make us, weak, Right it makes us talk,
different act. Different we gotta be mindful of. That how
about this late night hours when you're most. VULNERABLE i
always tell my brother's In christ and my sisters In,
christ if you're outside after ten, Pm, amen or what
are you expecting to. Happen think about, It, okay where you're,

at what neighborhood you? Know after ten o'clock it starts
getting different in the environments. Outside, amen the night life

what are you doing outside after ten? Pm a, man

outside a man at ten o'clock at the bar or,

i'm gonna leave. Soon i'm gonna leave. Soon you know that,

Morning so maybe it's that. Too so those type of
things give sin a. Foothold so guess What jesus wants
us to? Do cut it off, right cut off, access

hit the delete, button deny, that deny the. Flesh we're
not supposed to die to ourselves a. Man we're supposed
to deny the. Flesh jesus dies so we could. Live
jesus didn't dine across so we could die of. Self
jesus dieding across to take care of the sin det

pay off the sin det But jesus died so we
could live and live a, powerful, holy ghost filled, life
not that we won't sin or be. Sinless is the
power to send less because we have the strategies to
cut off access to the things that want to destroy,

life that you're trying to follow is read you're reading the.
Scriptures they're gonna talk about. You they're gonna be, like oh,
man this person thinks. This this person thinks that freedom

is about setting up boundaries that protect your yes To.
God if you say no to everything and you don't

give people reasons why you don't want to do, stuff
they're gonna be, like he's, religious leave him, alone and
then you're gonna lose. Access they're not even gonna trusting
no more because they're gonna be, like, man ANYTHING i,

Distraction they kind of like spark up. Lessening you just
delete those, Apps, amen the number of those people that
are calling you. Randomly just block those. Numbers, Bro it's.

the number that tempts you to. Compromise how about. This
unfollow the people or pages that feed your, flesh and

it's gonna if you have a lot of followers or
a lot of activity going on social, media it's gonna
take you. Hours i'm telling you took me three and
a half hours in the, summer AND i gotta do
it again because all these things keep on popping. Up
And i'm gonna stay on social, media even though sometimes
it's a dark place to be. On But i'm gonna
stay on social media because social media is where the

people That i'm trying to reach out. AT i want
to make my exodus, though but that's another. Story avoid
the places where temptation always, Wins, Amen stay away from
you know where to stay away, From, Amen just stay
away from those places and limit your screen. Time late night,
Scrolling amen is dangerous because you're, tired, Right you're getting.

Sleepy you're not as, responsive you're not as alert as
you are when you're wired. Awake So i'm gonna leave
