She could do a live chat with me over there
as well. Today. What's your proof? I'm gonna ask you

(00:49):
a question, what's your proof? When people ask you, why
do you believe what you believe? And how do you
know who you believe in as Jesus Christ, as Lord?
How what's your proof? Why do you believe that? Amen? Now,
I'm going to say this upfront. This way of presenting
your proof is not the end all people. Sometimes when

(01:10):
you tell your stories, share testimony of how God changed
your life, they'll still go against that too. Amen. Some
people are just fled out, ready to argue. Amen. They
don't want they don't want our Jesus to be true
for whatever reason. They don't want God to be real
for whatever reason. Amen. So upfront, I'll tell you this

(01:31):
is not going to solve every single issue with people's
lives and hearts. But amen, but I will encourage you
to tell your story by sharing your testimony. So bold
testimonies create bold believers. Think about it. If you boldly
share your testimony, you boldly proclaiming or declaring, or you're
starting to lift up your own faith. Amen, and be

(01:54):
a bold believer. When you speak up, others find their
courage to speak up to. So when they see a
brother in Christ or assistant Christ sharing their testimony of
how God changed their lives, it stirs up our spirit,
it stirs up our faith, and it gives us more courage,
and we're gonna want to share our story too, right
because we see Sometimes you'll see immediate immediate responses to

(02:17):
someone's testimony as people think and they listen and they ponder,
and they say, wait, let me investigate this Jesus, let
me look at his claims. Let me see what God
they're talking about or who who's their God. They're gonna
want to get answers to certain questions after you share

(02:38):
your story. So what's your proof? Today in the Morning Devo,
we're gonna be on Psalms chapter sixty six, verse sixteen.
Psalms sixty six, verse sixteen said that real FA has
a lot of essays there. Amen, And if you have
any questions, comments, concerns, prayer requests, or anything along those lines,
please don't hesitate to leave it on a live chat.
That's what we're here for. Shout out some groups that

(03:01):
allow this Morning Devo on their pages, Global Outreach Ministries,
God is Great, podcast promotion group, Amen, Born Again Christians
go yee into all the world and preach the good News.
That's the name of that group, Wow teen Jesus Daily Encouragement,
and some others that are usually coming on board sooner

(03:23):
or later. Amen, Since the Joyce, I see you, Good morning, God,
bless you, welcome back to the Morning Devo. My system,
my friend is good to see you. Thank you for
the blessings to me and my family. I send the
same blessings to you and your family as well, and
thank you for blessing the group with your presence and
with your prayers. Thank you so much, my sister, my friend.
So let's go for it. We're gonna pray first. After

(03:44):
we pray, we share us out for like sixty seconds,
and then on the other side of those sixty seconds,
we'll get right into today's morning devo. Asking the question
what's your proof? Amen? What's your proof? Because people are
gonna ask you. They ask me all the time, what's
your approof where's your evidence? And sometimes I'll share my testimony.
It depends on how the spirit leads mean to that

(04:05):
individual person that's asking me the question. But a lot
of times, I would say, most often they want to
hear my story of how why I believe that God
changed my life and there is a God. So Father,
I thank you that you give us strategies, that you
give us most importantly, your love. That you are concerned

(04:26):
with souls and you are the savior of souls. Thank
you so much for encouraging us, giving us the boldness
to share our testimony, our story, giving us your word
on it, Amen and revelation. Thank you, Lord God, that
you are more than enough, You are more than a teacher.
You are more than a helper, You are more than

(04:46):
a prophet. You are Lord and Savior, Sovereign God, Almighty God,
and you rest your spirit in our bodies so that
way we could function and we have the foundation of Christ,
and we could function properly and move forward in victory
and boldly, boldly share our story, boldly share our testimony.

(05:10):
Thank you, Lord God, that you guide, guard us and
protect us. I pray right now, I pray peace over
everybody's mind, physically, emotionally and spiritually over their bodies. I pray,
Lord God, and I thank you for our health to
our body and strength to our bones. I pray, Lord God,
that you would encamp your angels around us like your
word says, the Angel of the Lord is encamped around

(05:30):
those who love you and follow your commandments. I thank you,
Love God, that you give us the gift of faith,
and you give us a gift of life, abundant life.
And I pray Lord God, that you would continue to
guide and guard and protect my family physically, emotionally and spiritually,
my wife, our children, our grandchildren, our family members from
the very oldest to the very youngest, and every single

(05:51):
one in between. And also I pray earnestly and hard
for every single person on the other side of the screen,
the peace of God upon them on the other side
of this mic, the love of God, the grace of God,
the mercy of God that will be experienced through your word.
In Jesus Holy Name. I pray this by faith, and
those who agree we say Amen to the Amen. Help
me share this out sixty seconds. When we come back,

(06:13):
We'll get right into today's morning Devo. I'll be right back. Amen. Amen,

(07:31):
We're back, Peter Zimberg, God bless you. Welcome to the
morning DEVO. My brother, my friend, is good to see
you back in the morning DEVO. Sister Joanne, I see you,
good morning. God bless you. Welcome back, my sister, my friend,
to the morning devo. Amen. So let me put this
on the screen. For those who are watching, Amen you do.
This is your first time watching or listening. Welcome to

(07:52):
the morning. Try to get here live in the studio
Mondays through Fridays, five thirty am Eastern Standard time. Amen.
Course just turns into replay. Is limited on the meta pages,
but it's more permanent on YouTube and very limited on
the website. As I switch daily. Amen, The Morning DeVos.

(08:15):
So however you want to listen or watch, Amen, you'll
find us, especially as so wins with a zena org
to celebrate the network. You'll find all the links to
the podcast and everything you need to watch at your convenience.
So welcome to the one in Devo, Welcome to the group,
Welcome to the family. Amen. If this is your first time, thanks,
who are just listening? Amen to that way, you don't

(08:35):
miss out on what's going on. So I'm sure I
read it word for work the way we see it
on the screen. Amen. So the question is what's your proof?
What's your proof? Amen? And just track Whippy and you're
gonna understand why I ask the question. And Psalms chapter
sixty six, verse number sixteen, Salmon says, come and hear

(09:00):
here all who fear God and worship Him with all
inspired reverence and obedience. Not only respect God, but obey God.
And I will tell you, and I will tell what
He has done for me. So once you see.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
A group of people that fear and respect God and
are obedience to his word, Amen, that should pique your interests,
That should encourage you, That should inspire you, and you
go don't want to tell what God has done for
your life, in your life and through your life.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
Amen. Right Like, when I'm in a crowd of people
that are all fired for the Lord, it makes me courageous.
Sometimes I want to get up and run around the church,
run around the ministry, and be like, I want to
share my story. God is that good, Amen, And he
deserves all the praise, honored, glory and worship. Amen. To
think about it when you're surrounding yourself by group of

(10:00):
believers that are bold believers, and they're bold about sharing
the testimonies and their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
They no scripture, they no word. Most importantly, they love
one another. They love their neighbor like they love themselves.
When you see that, you're gonna want to be a
part of that. Amen. Sister Nilsa, I see you. Good morning,
God bless you, good morning. Welcome back to the morning devo.
My sister, my friend is good to see you. So listen.

(10:23):
Let me get too much. I had something in my
mind just now, but I don't want to start preaching.
This is a morning devotion. We devote some time to
the Lord's word a man early in the morning. As
we start our day. Right, This is the thing. Your
testimony is proof not that God exists, because a lot

(10:45):
of people are gonna still say, yeah, I don't believe
his story. It's a nice story, that's good for you,
that's true for you. But you know they're gonna resist.
Sometimes they resist our own story. And to me, that's
actually like colonss liars. But okay, testimony is proof of
God's power. Amen. So as long as you share your testimony,

(11:08):
people should hear the transformative power of God's word will
purpose plan a man his love. They should see his
grace's mercy somewhere along your testimony. They get us find
out quickly that God had mercy on us, that God's
grace is incredible, amazing, and that he saved and transformed lives. Amen.

(11:32):
They should hear that in your testimony, in my testimony,
without us even trying, they're gonna hear it. They're gonna
be like, you mean to tell me you were into
X y Z and now you're in church and now
you're willing to die for the Lord. You're willing to
share your story no matter what. And that's gonna make
them scratch their head and be like why Amen? And

(11:53):
that's good. Then you can share the gospel. But your
testimony is proof of God's power. Don't ever forget that. Amen.
People are going to doubt the Bible. We see that
and we know that. But but they can't really doubt
what God has done in you. Right? And like I said,
I've met people not very often does this happen after

(12:15):
share my testimony, But it happens. People like they go
to me and first of all they give you that look,
like that sympathetic look, or we feel sorry for you
that you buy into that you brought into all this
God stuff. And then they always say, you know, I
like your story and you real passionate about it? Right

(12:39):
and sincere, but have you considered that you were already
on your way to change? Have you considered that you
since when you hit rock bottom, then you needed to
create something to get you out of that, you know.
So they put it right back on me as if
I had the power to change myself. And ninety nine

(13:00):
point nine percent, I always look at the person in love,
amen and say, if I could have changed myself, why
wouldn't I All those years ago? They said, well, you
know circumstances, you know, so they had their they try
to dismiss your story sometimes, so don't take a personal

(13:22):
you know to me, it's frustrating. I'm like, I just
shared my heart. I told you the truth of how
God changed my life, and now you want to put
it back on me as if I have my own
power to do my own thing at any time. It's
like someone who is addicted to nicotine cigarettes. Right. You
hear them sometimes saying I'll quit next week, and then
next week comes, and then the next week comes, and

(13:44):
then thirty years later, they're still trying to quit. If
they had the ability to just stop and quit, why
wouldn't they. Amen, So I told you I want to
start preaching. Your testimony says that God still does what
he does. Your testimony says that God still saves, God

(14:04):
still heals, God still restores, God still delivers. He's still
in the business of transforming lives. Amen, It's going to
come out of you. You know the truth. You know
how where God met you? Amen? Now, Granted, when I
first got saved, I always just tell people I found God,

(14:25):
I found Christ, I found Jesus, and then as I
grew in my faith, I realized Wait, God was always there.
He wasn't lost. I was lost. Amen. So if you
say that, I think it's a common thing that a
lot of Christians say, Oh I found Jesus, I found God,
you know. But when you do your Bible studies, when

(14:47):
you look into the scriptures, you get to realize that
it wasn't that God was lost. It's that we were
lost and He found us where we were, and now
He's taken us to where he is. It's a beautiful
love story, a redemption story. Jesus the Christ died so
we could live Jesus Christ and then dies so that

(15:08):
way now we have to die to self. We need
to deny our flesh and live for Christ, not die
to self and then have no identity. Our identity is
in Christ a man. And if you notice, the personality
that He gave us originally is still with us. Amen.
Some people have a bold on personality. Some people are

(15:31):
more laid back personality, but they still stay born again.
They're still on fire for the Lord, a man and
their own strength. I met a man during the marriage
weekend that me and my wife are on. He was
real like laid back, quiet, but when he prayed, you
felt the armies of heaven. Move a man in that room,

(15:52):
but he was real, laid back, so his personality is there. Amen,
your story makes the invisible God visible to people. Yeah,
there's no pressure. Your story though, right, and your proof,
your evidence of God's power. It makes the invisible God

(16:13):
visible to people like you're a painting the image of
a loving, holy, righteous, saving God to your story. Amen,
through your story. Also, when you share your story, you
share your testimony. Your testimony opens the door for others

(16:34):
to believe in the God who transformed your life. Right,
It's an open invitation because usually when I share my testimony,
at the end I tell people, listen, if God could
save me and change me, he could change anybody. I'm totally,
one hundred percent convinced that God could change anybody's life

(16:55):
if he changed me. And why can I boldly say
that is because I knew and I know where I
was going, where I was headed, what I was doing,
my mindset at the time, Amen, the people I was
hanging out with, the activities I was involved in. I
knew who and what I was doing at the time.
And to be trained and transformed by God is something

(17:19):
I will never deny, never forget right, and I will
always testify of God's goodness and grace and his mercy.
So God could use your testimony as a weapon against disbelief,
unbelieved doubt, and against the enemy and his tactics. Right. So,

(17:40):
the enemy hates when you're bold about your story. He
hates it. It's a headache to him. He's like another
creation of God, a born again believer, a son or
a daughter of God sharing their story. And then he
knows that in the crowd that you're sharing it to,
maybe you're sharing it in your family for family member
for the first time, sharing your story for the first time.

(18:02):
Amen to a coworker, a student, a boss, whoever, he
gets upset, mad and frightened too, because he's like, this
gives the other person that's listening to our story. It
gives them an idea of why we believe in Christ.
And once they see that we really are believers in Christ,

(18:25):
the enemy shudders and shivers and is mad and angry
because he knows that our testimony becomes a weapon against
him and his tactic. Enemy hates your story because every
time you tell it, you remind him that he lost.
The enemy has been defeated. Death couldn't hold the Lord down.

(18:46):
Victory belongs to us because victory was Jesus' first. Amen.
You remind yourself and others that God wins, that God won, Amen,
and he wins over people every single day. And the
enemy hates that you remind others that victory in this

(19:09):
side of eternity, on this side of eternity, is possible
when you're following the victorious one. Amen. So when you testify,
when you share your story, right, when you give your
proof of God's power, you are swinging a spiritual sword
and cutting the necks off the demons that are trying

(19:29):
to keep our family members, our friends, ourselves sometimes in captivity. Right.
God broke the chains, right, so we are free. We're
literally free. Some people, even though their chains are broken,
they want to snatch other people's change and put them

(19:49):
back on. I don't know why, Amen. Only that I
can think is that it's the flesh. The flesh causes
people to stay stuck in sin, sex, drugs, alcohol, her
sing and all that stuff. And when you fuel your flesh, Amen,
and you feed your flesh, You're gonna get the results
of the flesh. And the Bible is honest, Ladies and gentlemen,

(20:11):
the Bible says that sin is pleasurr bowl for a season. Well,
some people are on that season, in that season right now.
We need to pray for them because they're in the
pleasure season. But that pleasure is not the purpose that
God has died for them and set them free and
set them, you know, free for works to the Lord.

(20:33):
So we just got to keep on praying, Amen, keep
on praying for those people, and be mindful that that
prayer could be for us too if we're not careful.
When you testify, you are swinging a spiritual sword. But silence, right,
and I've had to repent for being silent. It gives
room for the enemy. It gives space for the enemy

(20:58):
to do something when you silent about sharing who God
is in your life, or you're being silent about approaching
someone who's in sin that you love, and it's calling
themselves Christians. Right. The other day, I was called judgmental
and holier than thou, Amen, And I'll accept that because

(21:23):
people who knew me from back in the day, they
knew that I wasn't holy, and if I was just mental,
I was not judging us. I was judging religious people Christians. Amen.
So now that I'm called that, I started realizing, well,
it is what it is. Amen. The Gospel's message is

(21:45):
still going to go through whoever thinks I'm religious, holier
than thou and judgmental. Amen. It is what it is.
They called Jesus much worse things than that. And look,
the Lord Jesus is the God of love, grace, and mercy. Amen.
And I'm still going to testify of his goodness and
how he changed my life. So I'm not the main
topic here, Amen. The Lord is always going to be

(22:07):
the main topic. I don't know if you've been called that.
You probably have been as soon as you start looking
more and more like Christ, and they're gonna start calling
you more and more things that they call Christ. Just
put it like that, right, So your testimony opens the
door for others to believe. We know that God uses
our proof, He uses our bold testimony to create the

(22:33):
key to unlock someone else's heart. It's incredible, Amen, It's
incredible what God does. So when somebody hears how God
brought you from point A to point Z, how God
brought you out of storms, how God brought you out
from being, you know, whatever it is, something rises inside
of them. It's called hope. It's called hope. Ladies and gentlemen.

(22:56):
You're putting hope into others that maybe are secret about
their struggle, or maybe they've been curious about Christ and
they just never heard somebody's story, Amen, about how God
saved and rescued and transformed you. So silent gives the

(23:17):
enemy space to move, but when we speak, it holds
the enemy down because people will start saying, if God
did it for him or her, why couldn't he do
it for me? Right. A lot of people are tired
of hearing preachings and sermons, a lot of people are
tired of hearing Bible studies like this or morning DeVos.

(23:38):
But for some reason, they're not tired of hearing stories Amen,
because they're curious. They want to know, And a lot
of people do it secretly because they don't want their
friends to know that they're on a journey to investigate Christianity.
They don't want other people to know that they're seeking
God Amen, in their own way, so they'll go to

(24:01):
platforms that have testimonies of people's lives that has been changed. Amen,
So keep on going. I want to encourage you to
remind people of what your proof is, of why you
believe that God is real. Your testimony gives God the glory. Amen.
If you start realizing that people are starting to follow

(24:23):
your life and your story, Amen, remind them that the
glory goes to the Lord. And because of our testimony,
God will be glorified, not the other way around. I'm
not going to be glorifying myself or look what I did,
Look what happened to me. No, it doesn't matter what
happened to me, right if I did it for myself,
but it matters when we can point to a living, holy, righteous,

(24:46):
loving God that can change people's lives. And they're going
to want to know who that God is, not who
I am, not who you are. Look what the Lord
has done. Every testimony ultimately points back to Jesus. It's
plain and simple. I can't tell you that I saved myself.
There's people out there that are telling you that there's
other ways to heaven, there's other ways to salvation, there's

(25:07):
other ways to save yourself. There's other help, self help
books and all that stuff. Googles and they're telling you
all these other things, and they're trying to delete Jesus.
But guess what. Jesus cannot be deleted. Jesus is always
the author, perfect of our faith. He's the only way
to the Father. He's the only way, the only truth,
and the only life that we need and that we

(25:28):
can have eternal life through. This is why the enemy
fights your voice. This is why he doesn't want you
to speak up. This is why he wants you to
remain silent. This is why he wants you to remain discouraged.
This is why he doesn't want you to have courage.
This is why he doesn't want you to have faith.
This is why he doesn't want you to have hope,
because he doesn't want your voice to speak out on
God's behalf or to tell people what God has done

(25:51):
in your life. But the John, I see you, good morning,
a man all one love. Yes, God bless you, my
brother and my friend. It's good to see you in
the morning. So your testimony is gonna shift the spotlight
off your past and point it onto God's grace. I mean,
we're gonna share about a past in our stories. Right.

(26:12):
You want to let people know. And some people who
already know you, they stop talking to you, probably because
they're still trying to figure out a way to disprove
that God is real in your life. It's crazy, right,
especially people who really know us, they're deep down they're
trying to disprove that there's a real God living inside

(26:35):
of us. I don't know why, Amen, but sometimes it
happens too. So be bold because boldness is contagious. Right.
Be courageous, because courage is contagious. Right. Share your story,
that's your proof. It won't settle people's arguments, amen, all

(26:56):
the time because they wanted to try to discount testimony
for whatever reason. Or but share it anyway. Some people
are going to be believers. Some people are going to
be cynics, and they're never going to believe their hearts
are heard. Amen. But that's the work of the Holy Spirit.
We're not here to convince anybody that God is real.
We're here to priest the gospel, right, baptize people in

(27:19):
the name of the Father's Son and Holy Ghost and Disciple,
men and women, right, and continue going. So point to
Jesus and remind people that every trial in your life
is a new chapter, every breakthrough. Right, it's like a
new verse for us to find in the scriptures. And

(27:41):
every tear is like a new teaching in our lives. Right.
The one thing I know for sure is that your
life is a living love letter. Your life is a
visible expression of an invisible God, Amen, And that God
could use our pain to point the one who takes
it away one day. Amen. So I hope you were encouraged.

(28:05):
I hope you don't understand what I'm saying. Psalm sixty six,
Verse number sixteen is where we started. Read Psalm sixty
six the whole chapter. Amen. So that way you can
see whether or not I'm taking this out of context.
That's what the Lord gave me, So that's what I'm giving. Amen.
So God bless you all. Thank you so much for
hanging out with me for this morning devo is. I'm
so humbled that people still want to know the Word

(28:28):
and get into the word first part of the day. Amen.
So God bless you all. Got to keep you all
or remember always that God is good. These

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant.
