Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Chat Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Now what Epstein files? Will we actually see anything, hear anything.
It's not about politics. I've told you guys that over
and over again. Yesterday was pretty damn amazing when you
consider I don't know who our politicians are and how

(00:38):
they can take a different side of the same coin.
That makes sense. Wait, it's heads. Yeah, but we're going
to go on the other side now because you guys
are here. It doesn't matter. They make everything about politics,
but yesterday they came together and they did something.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
The votes here is quite significant. I mean, we've been
covering Congress now for years and it is hard to
find Democrats and Republicans really agree on very much these days.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
The fact that this.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
Was a sweeping and significant bipartisan vote, not just from
Democrats supporting this, but also Republicans that are calling from transparency,
even though the White House, the Trump administration, the President himself,
Republican leadership tried to stall this very vote now for
months and.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
That was an awful look. I think we recognize that
this was a this is all self inflicted. And now
do I think we're going to find everything out? I
don't do I think that they're going to I think
Pambondy and then they were already talking about, you know,
national security, and I started laughing. I'm like, national security again,

(01:50):
what exactly does that mean? National security? I mean for
somebody who, as Pambondy and cash matel put it, they
did every he didn't try affect to anybody, and he
did everything basically for himself. And there was nothing to
see here. There sure seems to be a lot to
protect nothing, if that makes sense.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
This was an extraordinary moment, and it really caps off
months of Republicans demanding transparency, members of the president's own
party pushing for the release of these Jeffrey Epstein files. Now,
the president and Republican leadership have tried for months to
stop this vote from happening, but in the end it

(02:31):
did not matter. And President Trump, really recognizing the political
headwinds here, realizing that his party was going to vote
for this anyway, ended up reversing and encouraging Republicans to
support it.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
And they did. Everybody but one supported it.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
The only Republican to vote against this, to vote no,
was Congressman Clay Higgins of Louisiana, and he put out
his statement saying that he's basically a principal no on this.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
He believes there were not.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
Enough protections in this bill for innoc and people that
may be hurt whose names might be revealed as these
files are released, so he wanted to see more protections added.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
And I understand that. Look, I understand you know that
that's an argument to make that some people are going
to get caught up in this. Yes you may think that,
but I want to remind everybody that we are not idiots. Now,
there are plenty of idiots out there, but we can
make up our own mind. And if you were perfect

(03:32):
example is Larry Summers. If you're out there and you're
emailing a man and talking to a man and texting
with a man who you know was a convicted sex
offender miners, remember that even though he got a sweetheart deal,
it was still a convicted sex offender and you're still

(03:58):
talking to him, Well, then there's issues there for you
not saying he did anything, because talking to somebody doesn't
make you guilty, but you knew. And I think that's
also the big thing here. I mean, Trump is doing
everything and do I think, like I said, do I
think we're going to get any of this stuff. No,

(04:18):
and I go back to this over and over again
because it becomes about politics. This isn't about politics. This
is right, this is wrong, This isn't about politics. If
this was just a group of people who were trafficking

(04:38):
young girls and they got arrested, and there was no
issue as far as any kind of role they could
play in somebody's life that would better its you know,
meaning politically, well what happens, nothing, We cheer them on
good you got the bad guys. But because of politics,

(05:02):
my side, your side, this became something it never should
it never should. And as I remind people over and
over again about this, Gleainne, Maxwell and Epstein were the
only two ever to be charged. So we know Prince
Andrew did something. He was never charged with anything. Powerful

(05:28):
men shouldn't be able to get away with this. The
fact that there was a concerted effort to protect a
lot of things, names people who probably did horrible things,
on top of just having an association with even though
he had done stuff and everybody knew about it, yet

(05:49):
you still had an association with him because of what
you thought, well, this is what I can get away with.
Yet there are plenty of issues, but kind of like
OJ Simpson because everybody keeps going, well, you know, eventually,
you know, what about the investigation? What about the trials?
I'm like, what trials? What investigations? There is no investigations.

(06:11):
There is zero investigations going on. Nobody was out looking
for anybody. If you've got the names there of people
that you feel did horrible things to young girls, criminal
sexual things to young girls, and you do nothing about it,

(06:34):
what's that say about you. Nobody was investigating any of
these things. So take the politics out of it if
you can for a second, and I think you'll start
to realize, oh, okay, without the politics, this is criminal.

(06:57):
With the politics, it's just a story. Speaking of stories. Yesterday,
Saudi Arabia the house of who MBS in town. Now,
if you guys don't know who NBS is, he is
the leader of Saudi Arabia. He is it. He is

(07:23):
the head guy, the head honcho, the big cheese, if
you will. But he's got issues obviously, anytime Saudi Arabia
comes anywhere near here, and I'm talking about the leaders
of Saudi Arabia nine to eleven, obviously he's a big
deal for a lot of people. Understandably. And then most

(07:45):
recently Jamal Kushogi, who is the reporter and I say reporter,
I'm gonna say this that does a disservice to who
he was. He wasn't just a reporter. If you guys
don't remember, he was murdered in October of twenty eighteen.
He was in Istanbul, went into the Saudi consulate to

(08:11):
get a document for his planned marriage and he never left.
CCTV had him coming in but not going out, at
least not in one piece, and that's what happened to him.
Estimated fifteen guys tortured him, eventually killed him, dismembered his body.

(08:33):
It was horrific. So this was a guy who was
super influential. Like I said, saying he's a journalist, that's
an understatement. The guy was arguably the most important voice
in the Middle East as far as a journalist would go.
He was an influencer in a serious way. And he

(08:57):
was a pain in the ass for the Saudis, in
particular NBS because he saw what was going on with NBS.
So so if you guys don't know, NBS comes in
and he just completely consolidates power. Normally, Yes, the the
you know, you've got the princes and and certain you know,

(09:19):
powerful people inside of what would be we would consider
it an administration that runs the nation. He comes in
and says, nope, it's me and he handles everything. And
Kashogi was like, no, this guy is bad. This is

(09:40):
what he's doing. He's an autocrat. He's not trying to
change things. I mean, it was, you know as a
guy was he was you know, this was a guy
who was pushing back on the powers that be. So
that's just a little snapshot. So NBS is here. Remember
we do the with nations in today's world because we

(10:04):
have to. We may not like what they do, we
may not like what they represent, but that's the reality
of the world that we live in. Trump was asked
about this. Remember this all happened when Trump was president
the first time, and well, here's Trump.

Speaker 4 (10:20):
As far as this gentleman is concerned, he's done a
phenomenal job. You're mentioning somebody that was extremely controversial. A
lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about,
whether you like him or didn't like him. Things happened,
but he knew nothing about it. And we can leave
it at that. You don't have to embarrass our guests
by asking a question like.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
That, which our CIA and everybody else is that's a
bunch of crap. He knew exactly what happened. Because he
knows what happens. You don't grab all that power and
not know what's going on. So that was the controversy
around that yesterday. Like I say, I don't have to
like what other nations do. We just have to understand

(11:01):
that we do business with them. And that's a lot
of what this is selling them. F thirty Five's a
bunch of other stuff going on over there, pledges for us,
it's business and it's ugly, and some people are going
to hate it. Some people are going to say it's
just what it is in today's world. The truth is,
it is just what it is. The more global we are,

(11:22):

You're listening to the Chad Vincy Show.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
There's a massive out aggestday in the world of the Internet,
and people are going, how the hell did this happen?
What the hell is cloud Flare? Because many of us
have no idea how we get to a website. What's
the protocol when it comes to the Internet is like
we just go, we click, we get on a browser

(13:40):
in a way we go. But there are things that happen.

Speaker 5 (13:43):
If you want to go visit a website, you fire
up your browser and basically what that browser is doing
is it's requesting places to go online. Let's say abcnews
dot com. That website exists on a surfer generally somewhere
else and in the middle of all that is a
service like cloud Flare, and they provide security services for tech.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
Companies, which is a big deal because, as we all know,
we are not really set up the way we should
be in the way that we need to be to
protect ourselves. And before it all went sideways yesterday, there
was a lot of unusual amount of activity going towards
these websites, like just way more than normally would be

(14:30):
going there at that time of the day.

Speaker 5 (14:32):
Basically, they're ensuring that the request that's being made from
the browser is coming from a real person, it's not
a malicious actor or a bot. And then on the
other side, they're making sure that these websites are legitimate,
that they're not going to mess around with your browser,
and that the websites themselves aren't being overloaded. They're kind
of middlemen, is a good way to think about it.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
And middlemen, as we all know, get paid quite well.
But that being said, we are also it's a very
precarious situation. It's not if, but when it's not the
first time. And we've saw this same thing happened with
Amazon a few months ago, where you know, these things
as smooth as they run over and over again, they

(15:12):
have issues and they're easily picked apart. And you know,
as I was sitting there talking a couple of my
buddies yesterday about this, who are tech neers I said,
do you think this was a hack? They said, you
know what you see A lot of this stuff is probe, probe, probe,
let's just probe, let's see what happens. Sometimes they're just issues,

(15:34):
it happens, but other times they're probing. And I feel
like this was a bit of a probe as well.
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty
three at Chad Benson shows your ex, your Insta, YouTube
and more right here on The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 5 (15:50):
When a middleman like that goes down, it can have
wide reaching impacts. We saw x the social network formerly
known as Twitter, go down for seven hours. In addition
to that, Spotify, even the website that we use to
track outages like this, which is called down Detector, it's
self experience and outage fragile.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
Same thing with Amazon. It's the back end that it's
so important. Let me know what you think, a lot
of stuff to get to on today's program, But first
one talk about my friends of it, Raycon. Raycon is amazing.
Their earbuds are incredible, all right, The fit, as we
all know, is amazing. The feel so they fit perfect,
but then they don't feel like they're in your ears right,

(16:30):
So that's what they Ergonomically, they're just awesome balanced, an
amazing sound quality that is second to none, eight hours
of talk time, thirty two hours of battery life, multi connectivity,
and go on and on. Right now, they've got their
incredible deal going on. Okay, it's thirty percent off sidewide,
so you get up to thirty percent off side wide.
So if you've ever thought about m you know what

(16:51):
I'd like to try those? Now is the time to
do it. And here's something else that's amazing about these things.
And I hope people understand for all theF I talk about,
I know sound better than you can believe. It's what
I do with. It's the medium I have chosen to
work in. You will find nothing better than these, So
start winning the holidays early, get ahead of it. It's

(17:12):
their Black Friday Cyber Monday sale going on at the
thirty percent off site wide. Grab the classic earbuds among
other things. Got a buy raycon dot COM's last chad
buye raycon dot com slash chad. We got our one
hit wonder today. What will it be? It is a
song that you will recognize. You probably have no idea
who's sang it, And it took them a long time

(17:33):
before this thing actually got on the charts. Very interesting.
A bunch of other good stuff on the way. This
is the Chad Benson Show, Sun Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
It's Wednesday. You know what dad means on Wednesday's, kids,
we have a lot of fun. Not only we have
one hit Wonder Wednesday, which is we already know is
amazing and fun BANDO, I got one for you guys day,
but it's also White Woman Wednesday. We have a lot
of fun with this too. So White Woman Wednesday is
our friend Kylie and a French chess. They are uber
progressive ladies who love to tell mostly men how much

(18:24):
they suck. And I will be honest, there are times
that men do suck. But you know what, ladies, you
guys can suck too, So let's just all settle our
assets down. But the reason that we play them is
because it's funny and because it also shows the chasm
happening right now between the young men in this country
and the young women in this country. But this time

(18:45):
this is strictly about the president and how all presidents
are evil.

Speaker 6 (18:50):
The only requirement to run for president in this country,
to have money, and to either be a pervert, a rapist,
or a war criminal. The more I learn about US history,
the more I am convinced that every single person falls
into one of these three category. Even if they don't
start out as one of the three, they eventually become it.
And I'm sure a lot of this has to do
with the fact that men historically have only been in office.

(19:11):
We have not had any women, which personally and statistically
I feel that women are less likely to violate these
civil rights of others. But even some of our better
presidents still have had insane sex scandals, They've cheated total
ethical lapses. Even with the release of the Epstein files,
there's people in there that she would not necessarily expect

(19:31):
to be creeps.

Speaker 7 (19:33):
And the worst part.

Speaker 6 (19:34):
Is that even if they didn't specifically engage in these activities,
they a knew what was going on, and b did
absolutely nothing to intervene, and they shut their mouths and
let the trafficking continue. At this point, I will be shocked.
The first time that we have a president was zero
essay allegation that to me would be equally as surprising
as them electing a woman because of so much misogyny.

Speaker 2 (19:53):
There you gory about misogyny. Uh, the evil thing. You know,
let's be real. Narcissism. Absolutely, you cannot be the president
of the United States and not have some narcissism. You know,
yesterday was joking, Trump was talking. Ronaldo was there, the

(20:16):
soccer star and MBS and Trump And I'm like, is
there enough air and oxygen in that room for those egos?
I mean, is there? So yes, there's a portion of
it that is ego, maniacal and evil. Though it's a
different thing. That's a different that's a different thing. People

(20:38):
can be evil though, there's no doubt. But you don't
get to that position in life without having people trying
to step on you and you step back. It's a
you know, that's what I always tell you know, we
always joke about the fact because you'll get this situation
where you're here, women go, well, you know this, this
happened to me because I'm a woman, And I'm like, no,
it happened to you because you're in the world of politics,

(21:01):
you're in the world of you know, business. It's not
because you're a woman. Men will crush each other just
as bad when given the opportunity. So to think that
maybe Hillary was not evil, that is that you're thinking

(21:25):
that maybe that she was. There was no ego. Come on,
we all know there is. I mean, that was the
biggest issue with her, right, The biggest issue with her
was she wasn't human. There was nothing about her that
made her likable or human. So earlier we were talking

(21:47):
about what's going on yesterday at the White House. NBS
was in town and if you don't know it is
he is the crown prince, the ultimate ruler in Saudi Arabia.
And today watching people again react to Trump meeting with
somebody who's authoritarian and Saudi Arabia, Biden went to the

(22:15):
Saudi Arabia. You guys remember that right when oil got
to the point where when OPEC cut things and then
gas prices were out of control, that you couldn't go
to a gas pump without Biden stickers going. I did that.
He eventually had to, you know, go there and try
to have a conversation with him to turn the spickt on.

(22:39):
And I said earlier in a couple of you text in,
you know, how could you say that about this guy
who did this thing? Well, and if you doesn't know
what he did, he you know, well it wasn't alleged.
Our Cia, you could take it for what it's worth,
said as well as several other intelligence agencies all said
the same thing. He ordered the killing of Kushogi Istanbul

(23:00):
at the Saudi consulate that included him being dismembered. It
was brutal, and everybody's like, well, the way that you
were so nonchalant about it, now, it's just what it is.
We are dealing with a modern world where authoritarians, yes,

(23:21):
rural areas that we happen to do business with, in
areas that are important to our interest, and that includes
Saudi Arabia.

Speaker 8 (23:33):
I'm an the American president whoever, it was, no matter
which party, would try to be an example for the
rest of the world in terms of human rights, in
terms of freedom of the press, and that is something
that this president has never been interested in doing. He's
CosIng up to power authoritarians and the like. And yesterday
his response to that ABC reporter was as noted, things happen,

(23:53):
a bone saw happened. That's what happened to Jamal Kashogi.
He was chopped up with a bone saw, at at
least the knowledge and perhaps at the instruction of the
Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, he then won the Trump.
The President went on to say, there's some people who
didn't like Jamal Kashomi.

Speaker 7 (24:07):
Sort of sort of suggested that maybe.

Speaker 8 (24:09):
He had it coming, that some people disagreed with him,
and this is and then to feed him at another
opulent state dinner and all but name last night described
as the glitziest event that he has thrown for any
leader so far this year. The most lavish event the
White House has held so far this year, and we're
seeing images of it now, was last night in the

(24:32):
honor of MBS. You know, a problematic ally, to say
the least. And we have again this president using a
moment with the eyes of the world on him, to side,
to turn away from what would be considered traditional values
of the office.

Speaker 2 (24:48):
So if we were to and here's where I'll defend
Trump again, it was business yesterday. Trump loves business, That's
what he excels at, including business for himself. But that
being aside, So according to you, we should have nothing
to do with China, right, we should have nothing to
do with them. We should have nothing to do with

(25:10):
basically any authoritarian that we do business with, even though
other presidents have to do business. Do you think that
they got their weapons only from Trump? There was no
other administration. Cutar only got their weapons from Trump, right,

(25:32):
there's no other. I mean, we can go on and
on about the people that we don't like. When it
comes to these leaders, we want them to live in
our world and follow our rules. That's not the way
it works. So we can either ignore them all close
up shop. Then everybody will go, well, Trump is an

(25:53):
isolation and is evil, and or we could just recognize it.
It is what it is. We have to do business
with certain groups of people who lead nations that we
well disagree with in a major way in the way

(26:16):
that they handle their business at home. Go watch the
movie Lord of War if you've never seen it. It
stars Nicholas Cage Nick Cage, great American actor and treasure
by the way, but go watch that movie. Ethan Hawks
in it and it is incredible. Jared Leto's in it,

(26:39):
and it's about a guy who he's an arms dealer
and how he gets away with it. Not to give
too much away, but it's been out for a long time.
I think they're doing Lord of War two actually right now.
But at the end of the movie, Ethan hawksmen chasing
him all over the world and he catches him, reads

(27:00):
him the riot act. Nick Cage is just sitting there
with a smile on his face and he says, I
know what you're smiling about. And he says, well, you
know you're going to jail. And he says, I'm not
going to jail. He says, yes, you are. He goes,
in fact, you're going to spend the next ten years
going from courtroom to courtroom before you even start your sentence.

(27:22):
And he goes, no, I'm not. And then he pulls
there's like a newspaper there and there's like a civil
war going on, and he basically says, look, there's some
things that our boss, the president, can't be seen doing,

(27:42):
collaborating with certain people, and so the enemy of my enemy,
and they need people like me. And it was just
a very poignant thing about the fact that we do
so many things and have to be with people that we,
nationwise I'm talking that we find really awful. But what

(28:12):
do we do. We do what we have to, that's
what we do. And this clutching of pearls and freaking
out over it is asinine and stupid, it really is.
But because it's a great way to go after Trump,
they'll continue to do it. So there you go. But

(28:34):
if I was president, if you were president, are you
going to say, well, we can't work with the Sauteas,
we can't work with this group, we can't work with
that group. We can't so stupid, it is so ridiculous,
it's so political. Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty
four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show, is your ex,
your insta YouTube and more? Enough of the politics. Time

(28:56):
to get throw a one hit wonder coming up in
a little bit. You guys are gonna love it. It
is a song you have heard probably a gazillion times.
It is a song that you go, I love that song,
and it's also a song you go, I have no
idea who sings it. So we'll do that straight ahead.
But first, Birch Gold a perfect example. Gold conflicts globally
absolutely going on. People worried about the potential AI bubble.

(29:24):
So you ask yourself the question, what do I do?
I'll tell you what you do. Birch Gold. Do you
text the word benz in the ninety eight, ninety eight
ninety eight now and let me tell you what they're
doing right now. They've got their Black Friday special going on.
So if you converted an existing IRA or four one
K into an IRA backed by gold with Birch, you
spend twenty thousand. Guess what you get free gold sent

(29:45):
to your house. Boom. They're going to show you why
it's important at this time to diversify and Birch can
help you with that. But you got to get the
info first. That's always the most important thing. So this
is what I want you do. Text the word Benza
now to ninety eight ninety eight ninety get all the
info you can't find out how you qualify for the
free gold. Text to word Benson to ninety eight ninety
eight ninety eight for Birch Gold. This is the Chad

(30:09):
Benson Show.

Speaker 1 (30:16):
Welcome to Chade.

Speaker 9 (30:18):
No, not the country, the institution, the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (30:23):
Finally, it is one of our favorite parts of the week.
It's where we relive song right from a band that,
for a fleeting moment in time, rocked and rolled and
we love that song. We loved that band. We thought

(30:44):
they were gonna be the next it. This thing was
gonna live forever, and then lo and behold, we never
heard from them again. Sometimes the song lives on, sometimes
the band lives on. But one thing we do know
is nothing else came from them that we cared about.
But for that fleeting moment they had a hit. It

(31:06):
is One Hit Wonder Wednesday. Now it's time for another
edition of One Hit Wonder Wednesday. You may not remember
the name of the band, but you definitely know the song.

(31:39):
This Bruiser, this is One Hit Wonder Wednesday. All right,
Today's one Hit Wonder is so amazing, It is so incredible.
The song has been around for quite a long time,
but the hit itself didn't come for quite a long time.

(31:59):
You see, when they recorded it, originally, let's just say
it didn't go well. In fact, the song didn't just flop.
It flopped majorly. Originally was a dance song, and it
didn't well, as they would say dance. But then they
remixed it, and when they remixed it there was something

(32:22):
about it. The guy who put it together was in
the band. He walked over there and within thirty seconds
took the song. Forever Young from Alphaville got rid of
all the dance parts left in just a bit of
the symphony and their lead singer Marrying Gold's amazing voice,

(32:46):
and well you have a hit that, forty years after
its release, finally landed at the number one spot. Your
one hit wonder today, Alphaville, forever young, Let's stand instid,

(33:15):
Let's start, start a heaven can wait for only watching
the sky, hoping for the best and expecting the worst.

Speaker 10 (33:23):
Are you gonna drop the bob?

Speaker 11 (33:25):
And don't.

Speaker 10 (33:27):
Let us die out?

Speaker 6 (33:28):
Now?

Speaker 10 (33:29):
Let us leave you rather. We don't have the ball,
but we know the same now sitting in the sandpitch.
That is a sharp trip. The music saw the sad
man tell you all imagine when the safest undasism to
the super raising on. It is getting into the music's game.

Speaker 2 (33:53):
The man.

Speaker 10 (33:57):
I want to be forever.

Speaker 2 (34:10):
The song itself has been sample on so many occasions,
as you know now the likes of jay Z. It
is not a love song. It's actually about the Cold
War and the bomb, which is very interesting. It's now
a big prom theme and has been for the last

(34:36):
couple decades. It is a haunting song. It is an
amazing song, and yes, Alphaville is still going today Mary Gold,
who's the elite singer. His voice sounds exactly the same.
It's just incredible, and most people have no idea who

(34:56):
the hell Alphaville is. They had no other hits here,
They had hits in Europe and worldwide, they're massive, but
this was it for them when it came to America.
I just love this song, your one hit wonder on
this amazing and fun Wednesday. This Alpha Bill's Forever Young

(35:19):
for three, two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four, twenty
three at Chad Benson Show. It's your ex, your Insta,
your YouTube, your Facebook, and all the other things right
here on the Chad Benson Show. Coming up our number

(35:42):
two of the program. A lot of stuff to get to.
We're gonna get to Texas redistricting, the fight that's going
on there, and this is again it's politics. Is it
about doing right by the voter and the people? I'm
gonna say no, Moron Epstein talk a bit about that,
plus some hilarious stuff, including the Civil War that we
keep hearing so much about. Just you mean the old one, No,

(36:04):
the new one that's coming, The new one that's coming.
What do you hear? What a guy? Former CIA guy
who's a podcaster. Andre Bousamonte said about the upcoming civil war.
I think you will laugh hard about that. Bunch of
other good stuff to get to as well. If you're
missing the show, Sham when you've got the podcast our
number two straight ahead Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 1 (36:23):
This is the Chad Benson Show, the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (36:53):
Well they did it, you know, they being Congress when
it comes to Epstein.

Speaker 12 (37:02):
The House passed the bill nearly unanimously.

Speaker 10 (37:04):
The years are four hundred and twenty seven. The nays
are one.

Speaker 12 (37:09):
Only one lawmaker voted no, Republican Clay Higgins, who voiced
concern about the privacy of the victims and people mentioned
in the files who have not been criminally implicated. Higgins' writing,
if enacted in its current form, this type of broad
reveal of criminal investigative files released to a rabid media,
will absolutely result in innocent people being heard. The Senate

(37:30):
that approving the measure almost instantly.

Speaker 2 (37:32):
Does Clay Higgins have something there? Yes? Could some innocent
people be caught up in this? It's possible, There's no
doubt about it. We don't know what's going to come
out first and foremost so we have no idea, and
I'm going to tell you what's going to come out,
whatever the White House and the Department of Justice allowed
to come out. So to think that there's going to

(37:56):
be a massive tsunami of names, I think you'd be
fooling yourself to think that it will be put in
a light that, if anything, will shine a spotlight on
how bad the Democrats are and protect I still think

(38:20):
several people, including by the way, this administration's piss poor
job in hiding this and lying to us. So there's
also that. But yeah, they're going to use national security
and stuff like that. So to think that we're going

(38:42):
to get anything, you'd be fooling yourself. I'm not even
for a second thinking that we're going to get anything
real because of the way that they've gone about it.
They're already talking about, well, for national security reasons. Hold
on a second, what's the national security reason? Well, we
can't say, that's all you have to say. Well, we
can't say. But I thought this was just a guy

(39:06):
that was trafficking to himself, that's what you know. I
was told by cash Bettel that he didn't traffick to anybody.
It was just for him. So what could be the implications. Yeah,
they're going to do everything they can to cover up
as much as possible, and anything that comes out will
probably shine the light on the Democrats. But we'll see

(39:29):
what it looks like. The fact that they pushed it through.
I do think shows though that the I don't want
to see the grip of the party is slipping away
from Trump. We talked about it yesterday. There's no doubt
that he is somewhat of a lame duck. I mean,

(39:50):
just evident by the fact that you've got the exploratory
you know, putting your toe in the water from Ted
Cruz about running for president and stuff, shows that they
there is you know, they're smelling blood and the opportunity
to step up and to you know, create this path,
and we talked about it yesterday. Do one thing about
Trump is the problem with MAGA was always going to

(40:13):
be Trump because Trump is MAGA. His personality is so
big that it lives and dies with him, and that
was always going to be an issue with them. So
we'll see what comes out of this. We will, but
I the way that it got through and now the
fact that you know, they voted unanimously in the Senate,

(40:34):
and you know, to they're getting this done. What comes
out of it, We'll find out, take the politics out
of it. Will anybody ever be prosecuted? Or is it
going to be like, oh, Jay, they found him not
guilty and then nobody ever looked for the real murders.
Oh yeah, exactly. Meanwhile, Texas, what are you doing so

(40:59):
redistrict next year going to be a big deal on
how many seats you can jerrymander for yourself, whether it's
Texas or California or anywhere else in between. But not
so fast.

Speaker 7 (41:12):
This ruling was about race.

Speaker 13 (41:15):
He says, this is a racial jerrymander, not a partisan jerrymander,
which is what Texas Republicans said they had done and
defended it, saying that this was all about who was
going to win and nothing to.

Speaker 7 (41:26):
Do with race. But the judge says, you know, you targeted.

Speaker 13 (41:30):
Non white majority, non white districts in your redistricting. And
they also point to what the white the Trump's Department
of Justice said in a letter, which, as we recall
this summer, sort of gave Republicans cover because they said, look,
you know your map is unlawful because you have the
way you've crafted what's called coalition districts, which are majority

(41:51):
non white seats that don't have one race that makes
up a sort of more than fifty percent, so sort
of black and Latino districts that vote together but do.

Speaker 7 (42:01):
Not have one. They said, these seats are unlawful.

Speaker 13 (42:04):
You need to draw them differently, and Texas Republicans went
right ahead and changed those seats. The Court says, if
this wasn't about race, why did you only did you
mostly draw these seats in non white areas?

Speaker 2 (42:16):
What? No way? Yeah, and remember the Department of Justice, Pampondi,
she's going after California because they voted to also jerrymander,
because well that's modern politics nowadays. So remember it's redistricting
if it's your team. If it's the other team, it's jerrymandering.

(42:38):
It is just when it's so funny though, because Texas, like,
what must do something like that?

Speaker 7 (42:43):
No, the Supreme Court it's almost certainly going to rule
on this.

Speaker 13 (42:47):
Cases like this get a field directly to the Supreme Court,
and they will. They could send a one word ruling
affirmed denied, or they could hear arguments.

Speaker 7 (42:57):
So it really depends on how they want to hear this.

Speaker 13 (42:59):
But I think if there's a good chance they're going
to hear, and a good chance that control of Congress
from youth could come down to this case, it's.

Speaker 2 (43:06):
Going to come down to the law the Supreme Court.
That's what it's going to come down to. Everything in
modern politics now is you go you do something, You
pass a bill, you do an executive order, whatever it is,
it gets challenged immediately. Straight from there it goes where

(43:31):
through the courts or in some cases, straight to the
Supreme Court. Because modern politics is pass something, executive order,
whatever it is, challenging court, straight to the Supreme Court,
there'll be the ultimate decider. Is it something that falls
to constitution?

Speaker 11 (43:50):
Is it not?

Speaker 2 (43:51):
Next? So, yeah, I do think this is going to
end up being a big deal. And I was reading
a couple things yesterday that I found fascinating. By trying
to move so quickly in Texas, they've put some of

(44:13):
these potential districts into a situation where it may not
work out to their benefit. But we're still a long
way away from that. Let's get to the court. We'll
ask them what the oracles think and if they say
it's okay, then we'll go from there. If not, they'll
have to redraw it again, and then they'll probably have
to go back to the courts and then they'll redraw

(44:34):
it again. That's the way this is going to be.
Oh my lord, modern politics, kids, Modern politics. Speaking of politics,
do you guys know about Venezuela. Yeah, yeah, it's a
South American country and we're just hanging out, just kind
of peeking around, see what's going on.

Speaker 14 (44:54):
We're on a fishing boat just a few miles from
the coast of Venezuela when we spot it, a mass
of US warship in the distance. Moments later, a second
a destroyer and an amphibious assault ship, both sailing the
thin stretch of water between Venezuela and Trinidad. One of
those two Navy ships carrying marines from the same unit

(45:15):
taking part in joint training exercises on the islands this
week as President Trump reviews options for possible military strikes
inside Venezuela.

Speaker 2 (45:24):
And I you know, you heard our buddy yesterday, Mike
Lyon's talking about he has no idea what's going on.

Speaker 10 (45:37):
At all.

Speaker 2 (45:39):
Neither do many of the people associated with what's happening there.
They just feel like we have no idea what the
hell is happening. And several people that I have talked
to said that the higher ups in the military have
sought some legal advice and situations because they are worried

(46:02):
about what are we potentially getting ourselves into. I know
that sounds weird, but they again, we're looking around going well,
what are we doing? Who? What's the deal? What's the
deal is? I think if we get involved, it is
going to not only be ugly, it is going to

(46:22):
put us in a position to get rid of a
person and replace them with somebody. Miss Maschado would be
the one that everybody's you know, talking about.

Speaker 15 (46:35):
It became the sacred duty of the courageous Venezuelans to
rise when our voices were silents, our dignity denied, and
our diberty.

Speaker 7 (46:47):
Shuckled by the change of tyranny.

Speaker 15 (46:49):
We sent at the edge of a new era, one
where natural rights will prevail.

Speaker 7 (46:58):
These regimes long.

Speaker 15 (46:59):
And violent abuse of power is ending, and you're going
to sweetly submergent from the ashes, renewed in spirit and
united in purpose, like a phoenix, reborn fears, radiant and suppable.

Speaker 2 (47:13):
Yeah, I have a feeling we're going to go and
we're going to So she is wanting us to go
in there and bomb her country and depose their dictator
and replace it with her. I think she's won the
Nobel Peace Prize. And her first act, she said, is

(47:37):
to move the Venezuelan embassy to Jerusalem. I think that's
what she said. I'm not lying. And then from there
she thinks things are going to go what I feel
like things are gonna end up, much like we've seen
in a lot of places, think Libya, that it's going
to be a civil war, and you know what that means.

(48:00):
If we broke it, we ignore it. Probably that's what
it means. So God willing, nothing happens. But I don't know,
we're gonna find out. There's no doubt that there's you know,
Trump has not been paying that much attention to it
over the last couple of days, but Marco Rubio, I
tell everybody is Marco Rubio. This is his thing, so

(48:22):
he has been paying attention. Three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four to twenty three acts had been to show's

You're listening to the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (49:51):
You know what's funny. I get this all the time
from people who are fired up about where they think
America's going. And then we're headed towards a civil war.
And if you've listened to my show for any amount
of time, you know what I've said about a civil war.
We will fight a civil war again when it is
an app? What oh, come on, Chad, we're so divided.

Speaker 11 (50:14):
No.

Speaker 2 (50:15):
No, First of all, we are divided, but it's algorithm
based and most people are Wooz's. Secondly, if you don't
believe me, this is former CIA turned podcaster Andrew Bustamante
echoing something I've been saying for quite a long time. Again,
if it's an app, maybe we'll have a war.

Speaker 16 (50:35):
Reason there will not be a civil war in the
United States is because there aren't enough people who actually
care enough to get off there in asks grab a
gun and go fight. And of the people who do
care enough to get off their ass, grab a gun
and go fight, they're only going to be able to
walk like a quarter of a mile, and then they're
going to be out of breath and they're going to
be looking for their cores light and their sins. Yeah, right, right,

(50:57):
that's it, that's right. That's why there's not going to
be a civil war inside the United States. This I've
seen civil wars. They are in hard work. I've seen
them in Africa. I've seen them in Latin America. I've
seen them rage on in the Middle East. What we
have here, people can't even conceive what an actual civil
war looks like.

Speaker 11 (51:15):
To get to the place where you have a civil war,
so many cuts have happened, so many.

Speaker 16 (51:23):
The only option for rule cuts, the only option left
to you is to grab a gun and fight. And
when you grab a gun and fight, dude, like, you're
not carrying around six hundred rounds of ammunition with a
whole logistical supply chain behind you like we see with
the US military.

Speaker 2 (51:37):
That's why there will never be a civil war. It's
not convenient. We'd have to schedule it, there would be
certain rules. All right, here's the deal. I can only
fight till eight because then I got stuff to do
and I got to show that my wife and I've
been watching and I don't want to go too far.
What's the parking like, that's dreams of the kind of

(52:00):
civil war we would have. Hey, dude, we're having a
civil war. Can you make it? I don't know what's
the parking like? Oh, it's okay? What do you mean
it's okay? It's like, do I have to pay? No,
you'd have to pay, but you know you have to
walk a little bit. How far is a little bit? Okay? Well?
Times it start? It starts at eight tonight. Oh, I
can't make that three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four,

(52:23):
twenty three at Chad Benson shows your ex your instant
YouTube and more ready of the Chad Benson Joe. That's
our civil war. I mean that right there, in a
nutshell is how our civil war would go. We're gonna
fight between this and this. I can't make it. Oh,

(52:43):
what's wrong? I told them I go fight in the
civil war. But that was like three weeks ago, and
I'm just not feeling it now as hard a week
of work. What do you guys think? Let me know, now,
you guys are probably thinking, Chad, you're not taking the
civil war seriously. No, I'm not. No, I'm not for
so many reasons because it's not going to happen. And

(53:07):
you know, because the Internet, we'd have to get it sponsored.
The civil War is brought to you by and whoever
you know would want to sponsor it. It's got to
be one of the AI companies or the Internet, you know,
some provider that would be it. Can't believe you don't

(53:28):
take these things seriously. It's just hard to take stuff
like this serious. I get it every day. You know,
we're in the battle of our lives. I'm like, are
we really? You know? I can't take you seriously. Why
you're holding something from Starbucks? Like, go look around the world,
Go look at Sedan, parts of Nigeria, Gaza, Yemen, parts

(53:53):
of Lebanon that screams battle of lives. We're angry on
the internet. Totally different, totally different. Let me know what
you think. Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four,
twenty three At Chad Benson Show, it's your extra Insta,
your YouTube and more coming up a lot of good

(54:13):
things to get to this hour. If you miss the
new show, grab that podcast. You know what really helps
us out.

Speaker 9 (54:17):
This is the Chadmnton Show, then Chad Benson Show, The

(54:41):
Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (54:43):
Epstein, Epstein, Epstein, Man, it never goes away. You know.
I was talking to somebody a little bit earlier today,
did a hit on another station about this, and I
said to him, look, here's here's the reality of it. Unfortunately,
like everything, once politics gets involve, everybody's going to try
to twist it to the way that they want it done,

(55:04):
when in reality the only thing that should matter is justice,
that's it. But instead is how does my side look?
Does my side look good? Does it does it not
look good? Who's going to be in trouble? Never once

(55:26):
saying you know what, this is the right thing to do,
This is the right thing to do. This is and
do I think we're going to get everything out of this. Now,
You're nearly a unanimous vote in the House.

Speaker 16 (55:39):
The years are four hundred and twenty seven, the nays
are won, the.

Speaker 2 (55:44):
Senate taking quick action to get it to the President's.

Speaker 1 (55:46):
Desk without objection sordered.

Speaker 3 (55:48):
But President Trump has had the power to release this
all along. Our Mary Bruce asking him why wait for Congress?

Speaker 10 (55:55):
Why not just do it now?

Speaker 7 (55:56):
I have nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstett.

Speaker 3 (55:58):
Some within the President's party using that same question. Even
some Republicans are skeptical those files will ultimately be released.

Speaker 2 (56:06):
I don't think we're going to get really much of anything.
And the simple reason, and I do think it's a
simple reason, is because they're going to hide whatever they
have to and it should piss us all off because
the end of the day, there's a good chance that

(56:27):
people are going to get away with this. Remember, nobody's
been charged outside of Maxwell and Epstein, and this should
be absolutely about the victims and about them getting justice.
But instead it became politics. And you know, I always

(56:51):
the thing about politics that I always go back to
take COVID. If there was no politics involved, what would
it have been like. Would there have been a situation
where we approached it much differently. Absolutely, But it became
about politics. And once politics gets into the mix, that
means the tribes are in the mix. And once the

(57:13):
tribes are in the mix, it's about winning, not whether
or not it's the right winning. It's just about your
side winning whatever thing is in front of you at
this moment in time. So that's unfortunate. Unfortunate. Men are
struggling in America, There's no doubt about that. Scott Galloway

(57:36):
here talking about men and the pivot because men have
gone right, women have gone left.

Speaker 17 (57:41):
So I believe that the problem of young men and
Grant I'm a hammer s everything I see as a nail,
But I think struggling on men is the reason that
we elected Trump. And if you look at the groups
of the pivoted hardest from blue to red twenty twenty
to twenty twenty four, first was Latinos. I don't think
we can take a lot from that because that's it's
even weird we categorize it one community because there's so

(58:01):
much disparity in our identity. The second group was young people,
and when you're under the edge of thirty and you're
not doing well, you just want change. But the most
interesting group is the third hardest pivot was from women
age forty five to sixty four, and my thesis, Elizabeth
as that's their mothers. There's a disproportionate amount of women
who will still vote for who they perceive is in
the best interests of their husbands and their sons. And

(58:22):
if your son is in the basement playing video games
in baking, you don't care about tortorist sovereignty in Ukraine
or transgender rights.

Speaker 2 (58:29):
No, probably not. And I could ask why do I
care about Ukrainian sovereignty? Why should I be involved in that?
Or Venezuela, Venezuela, Why should I be involved in that?

Speaker 10 (58:45):
Why?

Speaker 2 (58:45):
Why should we be involved in those situations? Well, we
created some of these messages sometimes we do, right, but
you know, okay, so let's just take that off. But yeah,
if your kids in the basement doesn't look like you're
get outside. That's by the way, there's a lot of
people that are living at home in their thirties and
forties and they're working and they're not in the basement.

(59:10):
So yes, men in particular living at home much longer
than women.

Speaker 6 (59:16):
Mom.

Speaker 17 (59:16):
Donnie was elected for the same reason Trump was, and
that is, if your son, if you're not doing well,
you just want change. And Biden and Cuomo both represented
the status quo, so they're willing to vote for a
chaos candidate insurrection. I don't care. But also, Trump, to
his credit, flew right into the manisphere, right into the manisphere,

(59:38):
and by going on Rogan.

Speaker 7 (59:39):
Fifty five million views.

Speaker 17 (59:41):
Harris to Manchat exposure would have had to have done
on CNN, MSNBC and Fox every night for three hours
for two weeks. If she had taken the bus to Austin,
it would have been worth her time.

Speaker 2 (59:53):
She could have gone there. She could have gone there,
but she chose not to. They make it seem like, well,
she wasn't invited. She was absolutely invited. And yes, by
the way, Mandannie, men and tons of women, far more

(01:00:14):
women are to the left, and he's pretty damned to
the left. So don't think it's just about men. Sometimes
people look around and mandonnie and Trump they followed similar playbook.
Trump reinvented that portion of it. Mcdonnie grabbed that populace
and again just changed a few of the words. But

(01:00:35):
it's just hard to say, well, it's just men. Well,
hold on a second, So men pivoted hard, right, But
then Mandannie's not No, they just want chaos, which again
is not all men want chaos.

Speaker 17 (01:00:48):
Yeah, and I thought I didn't think the Democrats should
have caved on the shutdown, but they have a solid argument,
and that is they picked an issue that actually impacted
it will impact republic. It's more, and they really highlighted
the fact that what is it about fourteen million Americans
are about to lose their health insurance and millions are
going to see their great skyrocket. I think if you
look at a survey of the happiest nations in the world,

(01:01:10):
six of ten or in Northern Europe, and happiness we
tend to believe in America, it's about what you can get.
Happiness also, though, is about a fear from anxiety about
things being taken away from you. And essentially, in Denmark,
if your wife is diagnosed with lung cancer doesn't mean
you're going bankrupt, whereas in the US there's a one
in three chance that that'll happen when your wife is

(01:01:32):
diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. Forty percent of American households
of medical debt. Just the amount of anxiety people are
feeling and the shame.

Speaker 2 (01:01:41):
He's right about the bankruptcy thing. But when you talk
about healthcare ACA, that's the Democrats Obamacare again, all one
and the same. That is the Democrats. No Republicans voted
for it, and you're asking Americans to essentially cover the

(01:02:08):
cost and the bill of rising health care and insurance
for people, and the Republicans said no, you guys up
the ante during COVID and now you want to keep
it going. You had a chance, Democrats to make it permanent,
and you didn't. And Republicans, that being said, this is

(01:02:31):
going to land at your feet. So you better figure
out a way to make this work, to come up
with a plan that is going to be reasonable and affordable.
If you don't do that, you are going to be
held accountable. But Democrats remember, as they say, well, now

(01:02:52):
it's on you, No, it's on It's on all of
you because you created the mess. You want to see
the mess in full glory and see what it looks like. Well,
you better figure out how to clean the damn thing up.
But to kind of focus on well, this is now
a Republican thing.

Speaker 7 (01:03:11):
No, no, this is.

Speaker 2 (01:03:14):
A right and left thing.

Speaker 3 (01:03:15):
You know.

Speaker 17 (01:03:15):
You imagine you got a sevene year old daughter and
you have to borrow money for her to fix her
root canal. I mean, this is just the anxiety I
think Americans are feeling economically is pretty severe. And the
Democrats focused on that and also the Fstein files. There's
just no getting around it. The president he looks, I

(01:03:35):
jokingly say, my five year old one's true on the wall,
And the moment he realized he spelled out his own name,
he knew he was he just did look very guilty.

Speaker 2 (01:03:44):
I feel like Trump.

Speaker 17 (01:03:45):
Could not be acting more guilty because people have forgiven
him for a lot, and so he's acting like there's
something really really ugly in here. And I think for
the first time Republicans are seeing political advantage and taking
him on. Whereas before it was it was radioactive to

(01:04:06):
get anywhere near the third rail of challenging the president.
It feels like his grip on power is beginning to slip.

Speaker 2 (01:04:15):
I think some of that's absolutely true. I think his
grip on power isn't what it once was. And I
think there as we talked about yesterday, they're starting to
see fractures in this maga world and people are trying
to figure out what exactly is next and where do
they fit in on that three two, three, five, three eight,

(01:04:36):
twenty four to twenty three atch had Benson Show, is

Fronting with Scissors sounds great compared to this.

Speaker 2 (01:05:59):
Say it's Wednesdays.

Speaker 11 (01:06:01):
You know what that means.

Speaker 2 (01:06:01):
We're gona have a little fun with our friend. Kindly.
You don't know who she is. We do white woman Wednesday.
She's super progressive. She makes me laugh, but she also
makes me think, and she has me put in the
work like she has all of us put in the
work because progressive women, you guys, are change in the world. Okay,
you're changing the world one grievance at a time. Let's

(01:06:26):
find out what she's pissed off at. Now.

Speaker 6 (01:06:28):
I know this is going to piss a lot of
people off, but not every belief deserves to be respected.
If your beliefs in fringe upon the rights of other people,
I am not going to respect it. And in most cases,
you legally cannot use your religion to justify your hateful
actions against other people. That's why I think it's so
funny when people will comment on my page, Oh, it's
against my religion, like it's something against you personally. I

(01:06:48):
just I don't support gay rights.

Speaker 7 (01:06:50):
Okay, even if you.

Speaker 6 (01:06:51):
Say your religion stands for that, that's not an excuse.
You are a bigot, and I am going to call
you that. That's why it's so funny to get mad.
They're like, no, that's not true, she says, just my religion.
You believe in a religion that allows you to justify
discriminating against people. Therefore, you are a bigot. I do
not respect you, and I don't want to be around you.
I wanted to have a conversation I had with somebody
in my hometown. I was like, I don't respect you

(01:07:13):
for the way that you voted. It was like, well,
I just voted for him because the options were really bad,
and you know, it goes in line with my religion. Right,
this is our last time speaking, because I don't care.
Religion is not a justification for your hatred. They're like,
why can't we all just get along? There's why you
want me to respect you without respecting me and my
rights and agency.

Speaker 2 (01:07:30):
Very simple, very simple. First of all, let's unpack this,
shall we No, not every belief matches up, especially here
in the West. Let's talk about that for a second.
That's true. Last night we saw issues in Dearborn, Michigan
with you know, if you guys don't know, it's predominantly

(01:07:52):
Muslim and you had Christians and Muslims who were kind
of I don't know. Again, it seemed very childish. When
I watched a lot of the town hall meeting, it
seemed very how should we say this? Like you had
people that were wanting to be influencers going there to
fight some fight. Okay, is what it is. But on

(01:08:13):
her little rant there, that wasn't about Muslims, that was
about Christians, Okay, just put that out there. That wasn't
about Islam. Secondly, you equate me or somebody else who
has a belief in God. Okay. And and this is
my belief based on religion, and my belief is this okay?

(01:08:39):
When it comes to marriage equality, whatever it is, I'm
just I'm I'm this is an example. You equate me
saying marriage is between a man and a woman. And again,
if you listen to the show, you know, first of all,
government get out of my life. Secondly, marriage equality I'm
totally fine with. But you equate that with hate. If

(01:09:01):
I don't believe what you believe, you equate it with hate.
Because we have a differing of opinions in something doesn't
mean I hate something, okay. And I think this is
where things go sideways. Is is we now live in

(01:09:22):
this world where if I say, nah, you know what
that's I don't myself believe in that. I believe X,
Y and Z or whatever it is. You know, and
you're like well you don't believe it. I believe it's
because you hate. No, it's not because I hate. I
tell everybody this. You know when people try to you know,
and yes, there are a bunch of wackado Christians out
there try to twist things. I'm not going to pretend

(01:09:45):
there's not trust me. I understand out here in the South,
I get it. But what I will say, and I
continue to say this over and over again, even when
it comes to religion itself, God didn't hate the sinner.
He hated the sin, if that makes sense. God didn't

(01:10:13):
hate the individual. He hated the act that was a sin.
And we need to get back to that, not just
in the you know, this hypothetical religious conversation, but also
just back in life where you go. You know what,
I voted for him, whoever him is Trump or you know,

(01:10:37):
Biden or whatever because of this. Oh, it's because you
hate me and my beliefs. No, it's because I think X, Y,
and Z has nothing to do with you. It has
all to do with this. We make everything so personal. Yes,
if somebody comes out and said they hate you because
of that, there are people out there that are insane.
So don't buy into that, but it did make me

(01:10:57):
laugh because it is always so when everybody's like, well,
I can't your beliefs, you won't recognize my beliefs and
you won't respect them, so therefore I hate you and
your beliefs and I won't respect them. So that's not
a win. I'm just letting you guys know, none of
that right, there is a win at all. Hating each

(01:11:20):
other is silly. We got to stop taking things personally
and we got to start having more conversations in this
country with each other and seeing each other as neighbors,
as fellow humans. I know it sounds weird, like we
shouldn't have to say, hey, you know what, maybe I
should look at my neighbor as my neighbor, not somebody
voted for the other party or has a different belief

(01:11:44):
religion wise or whatever it is. It's just so insane
and hate is an emotion, telling you, guys, especially with politics,
it's about emotion. Emotion gets people to react, that does,
it does, and the algorithms love it. Three two, three, five,

(01:12:05):
three eight, twenty four twenty three at Chadbentson shows your

most people have no idea who the hell sang it,
and they released it, I think, some forty times before
it finally became a hit. It's crazy, So do that
more on Epstein obviously got a little What's Trending coming
up as well, and a bunch of other stuff including

(01:12:46):
our Happiness Are you happy? America doesn't seem to be
very happy? What the hell is going on? Why aren't
we happy? We shall discuss why we're not happy, and
hopefully we'll learn a little become more happy. Our number
three straight ahead chats track.

Speaker 1 (01:13:02):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (01:13:32):
The Internet is not going anywhere. If you've got kids,
making sure that you know what's going on in the
world of the internet and conversing with them is extremely important.
We'll tell you that right now. And yeah, sometimes no
matter how hard you try, sometimes things happen. And I
think people recognize that, but I will tell you there

(01:13:54):
are groups out there who apparently their main goal is
to do horrific things to our kids.

Speaker 7 (01:14:00):
I love you, I'm sorry I couldn't like talk to
you on FaceTime.

Speaker 18 (01:14:05):
Thirteen year old Jay Taylor loved crafting. See crochet all
over the place.

Speaker 10 (01:14:10):
This is beautiful.

Speaker 18 (01:14:11):
It's withdrew him to join online groups like Discord to
make friends as he struggled with his mental health after COVID.

Speaker 19 (01:14:18):
We knew there were bad people on the internet period
when we had those conversations.

Speaker 7 (01:14:21):
And you tried to limit it. Oh yeah, it was
locked down.

Speaker 19 (01:14:24):
We did all the things that are available to us, right.

Speaker 18 (01:14:28):
But that didn't stop an online network of extreme predators
known as seven sixty four from reaching Jay anyway and
allegedly pushing him to do the unthinkable, take his own life.
They took advantage of Jay's loneliness and his kindness, and
then they completely prayed on his insecurities.

Speaker 2 (01:14:47):
And that is I see it. I do you know again,
I've got kids who are in this age range, and
we talk every single day about what's going on in
the Internet. We check their stuff, we talk to them,
because you know, shielding them doesn't help and I know

(01:15:08):
there are people out there is like I'm not going
to give my kid a phone until they're forty three. Like, okay,
that's good. But I live in the real world and
talking to your children is important. But knowing what is
out there, and it's a little different for me because
of what I do for a living. You know, I'm

(01:15:31):
up on things that a lot of people normally wouldn't
be up on. I mean, even my kids find the
things that I do cringey because I know so much
because I talk to two youngsters who are influencers, and
I read so many things. I'm ahead of so many things.
So that's what drives them crazy. But they also recognize, oh,

(01:15:53):
we're not going to fool him, and always telling him
to be honest. And there are some groups you stay away,
And there's a group out there whose goal apparently is to,
like I said, destroy our kids.

Speaker 1 (01:16:02):
The goal of seven sixty four, to unleash chaos.

Speaker 2 (01:16:05):
Modern day terrorism in America seven sixty four crimes that
involve harming our children by going after them online, causing self.

Speaker 7 (01:16:15):
Mutilation, suicide, sexual abuse.

Speaker 18 (01:16:18):
At least thirty people have been charged by the Justice
Department in recent years with suspected ties to seven sixty
four or affiliated.

Speaker 7 (01:16:26):
Networks Martin like Leslim or new quarters.

Speaker 18 (01:16:31):
Including this young Arizona man indicted last month on twenty
nine federal charges from cyberstocking to alleged support of terrorists,
meaning seven sixty four. He intends to plead not guilty.
The FBI says it's now investigating more than three hundred
and fifty cases across the country.

Speaker 12 (01:16:49):
This new network has a potential national security implication.

Speaker 18 (01:16:52):
A dramatic spike since our ABC News Investigative Unit report
on seven sixty four earlier this year.

Speaker 7 (01:16:58):
It's one thing to learn learn that.

Speaker 18 (01:17:00):
Your child died by suicide. It's another thing to learn
that people were watching right and egging him on.

Speaker 2 (01:17:08):
Sickening, which is and again, the goal is to what
unleash chaos? What's the goal of chaos? Okay, like, if
you are the joker, the goal of chaos I get again.
It's a movie if you're the joker. But the goal

(01:17:28):
is to do what just to see how many people's
lives you can ruin for a laugh. Again, there's a
lot of twisted folk out.

Speaker 7 (01:17:36):
There, probably one of our favorites.

Speaker 18 (01:17:39):
The tailors say they're now fighting for accountability, planning to
sue Discord because that was.

Speaker 7 (01:17:45):
The doorway, not these bad guys that we would never
let into our home.

Speaker 18 (01:17:50):
Discord says the horrific actions of seven sixty four have
no place on Discord or anywhere in society, and that
it's working aggressively to keep bad actors and harmful content
off its platform, including investing heavily in new digital tools
and cooperating with law enforcement. But the tailors also want
lawmakers to take action.

Speaker 19 (01:18:11):
I couldn't live with myself not making this push now,
making it public, because if another if I read a
story like Jay's after Jay's past, we failed Jay in
this endeavor.

Speaker 18 (01:18:22):
The Taylors say that warning all their parents is part
of their healing now, and they are pushing both lawmakers
and tech leaders, hoping for justice now. The FBI did.

Speaker 20 (01:18:32):
Track down a teenager in Germany with a handle white Tiger,
and German authorities finally made an arrest charging him with
Jay's murder, as well as two hundred other alleged offenses
to more than thirty other alleged victims, and he has
pled not guilty.

Speaker 2 (01:18:46):
It is a weird situation. So the seven six'. Four
if your kids talking about this is something again you
pay attention to and for this you're. Listening, okay well
that's that's for older. Kids if you have younger, Kids
roadblocks which is. Massive so my little one Plays. Roadblocks she,

(01:19:07):
is by the, way my little one, seven lives for,
math LOVES. Stem it is, crazy you, know at, seven
because we, homeschool but we give them a lot of
leeway in the, Way like someday she'll work on stuff
for ten. Hours other days it'll be an hour or
two and she's ahead of the. Game but the she

(01:19:28):
could do math all. Day and she Loves. Roadblocks but
they've had issues and they're being sued across the. Board
it's one of the co founders talking about security once.

Speaker 21 (01:19:38):
Again it's an enormous responsibility with over one hundred and
fifty million people coming To roadblocks every day to, play to,
learn to get interested IN. Stem and in addition to
all of the, innovations we've shipped over one hundred safety
innovations in the last. Year today we're announcing what we
believe will become the gold standard for safety and civility

(01:19:59):
on The internet and really a first amongst gaming. Platforms
we're going to be requiring an age check for everyone
who uses communication and, chat and we're going to be
able to use this to connect people to similar age
groups for, chat to limit interaction between kids and. Adults
AND i want to highlight this compliments what we already

(01:20:22):
do and a lot of parents might not realize that
all of the chat on roadblocks is already. Filtered there's
no image sharing On. Roadblocks we monitor chat for critical.
Harms so we see this just as a, continuation but
really a new standard of what we think will become

(01:20:42):
the standard for all gaming platforms and ultimately social.

Speaker 2 (01:20:46):
Apps on the day on The. Internet and that might
be someone of the gold, standard but the question is, no,
wait what do you mean? Picture it's all trying to
get this right is, tough because this is why the
most important thing you can do is talk to your.
Kid this is why the most important thing you can

(01:21:07):
do is converse and have these conversations to get them
grounded in. Reality and roadblocks is. Fun you, Know i'll
play With charlie and we have a good time doing.
It but yes there are things that's like if she
wants to, like you, know where she'll play with her,

(01:21:27):
sister but she's not allowed to go over in this
little zone unless it's whether sister play these. Games you
have to do, this and, unfortunately evil sobs will always
go to where they think the opportunity is to pray
on other evil.

Speaker 21 (01:21:45):
SOBS i want to highlight this isn't a selfie or
this isn't capturing a picture that could ever be shared or.
Exposed what this is is using the selfie. Camera it's
really quite. Simple you, know capture your picture you're locally
on the, phone use it to figure out how old everyone,

(01:22:05):
is and really use that then to assign them to
the right people that might connect. With but we're really
not storing these. Images they're deleted soon after we process.

Speaker 2 (01:22:18):
Them it's never deleted. Though remember that nothing is ever.
Deleted just point that out to. People if it's on the,
net it's on the net.

Speaker 21 (01:22:30):
Forever we're constantly seeing technology get, better and we're SEEING
ai get. Better roadblocks has over four HUNDRED ai models
and in many ways we've been an innovator on. This
we've open sourced our voice, model for, example and many
other companies are starting to use some of THE ai

(01:22:50):
technology we've. Developed it has now become, possible and we've
already introduced using facial age estimation for other. Things as
it's become, possible we want to take advantage of, it
and we do think it's going to become really the.
Standard we think more and more people are going to
expect social, platforms gaming platforms to know the age everyone

(01:23:14):
has on the platform and use it not just for,
communication but also for content and other types of things
available to people on our.

Speaker 2 (01:23:23):
Platform no matter what, happens the first defense and the
best defense is you just ground to your kids in
the ways of what goes on on the, internet some
of the horrible things out, there and that's the best.
DEFENSE i, mean when you think about, it and this

(01:23:44):
is somehow ELSE i you, know because my wife worried
a bit about. This FIRST i, said when you honestly
think about, it the amount of interactions that go on
during the. Day, yeah there's some bad things that happen,
there but it is minuscule in reach to some of
These it's not saying that it can't, happen but comparatively
to you, know if there's one hundred and fifty million

(01:24:07):
people going to play the game or do something like,
this every single. Day the chances of it happening is,
slim it's not, none and you eliminate that by conversing
and grounding them in the rules of you, know giving

(01:24:27):
them a good base of what to, follow what to look.
For but you can't hide your. Kids AND i see
a lot of people out. There i'd never let me
kid have a. Phone you can't do. That you put
them behind the eight. Ball and here's the other. Thing
they'll find out, stuff they'll figure out a. Way their
friends have, phones their friends have internet. Access so that's

(01:24:48):
why the best defense is. Parents no note to think, three, two, three,

the more global we, are the more intertwined we, are
the more that we're going to have to deal with
people that we look and, think, oh what you've done
and how you treat your people is. Abhorrent but you're
buying stuff from. Us so to miss any, show grab the.
Podcast it is The chad bensa chow Fun Chad Bents, Show.

Speaker 1 (01:31:19):
The Chad Benson. Show it Is wednesday On.

Speaker 2 (01:31:23):
Wednesdays not only do we do one Hit Wonder, wednesday
our good Friend kylie stops by the. Show if you
don't know who she, is she went To Brown Ivy,
league educated and uber. Progressive loves to tell us, all
especially us, men are, heteronormative, toxic, masculinity patriarchal. Men how

(01:31:46):
evil we are this Time she's not only attacking you,
know men, somewhat but also the.

Speaker 6 (01:31:51):
Internet What, Hi I'm, kylie AND i THINK i just
figured out why so many young boys are being. Radicalized
just conducted a social experiment WHERE i literally signed out
on my YouTube profile so there was zero trace of
any of my previous. History when in a private browser
and searched, YouTube i typed in. Feminism in the first
four videos that came up were anti, feminists including a
famous Red pill. Podcast it was the first or second

(01:32:11):
search item that popped. Up even if young men go
in innocently trying to learn about, feminism they are immediately
exposed to anti, feminist misogynistic. CONTENT i also looked up
debate with, women and instead of something coming up related to,
politics like WITH aoc Or Hillary clinton Or Kamala, harris
even Red pill content came up immediately Like Man Dominates,
Women Candice owens versus Twenty feminists immediate anti feminist content

(01:32:34):
that is designed to, demean, dehumanize and humiliate. WOMEN i
am so concerned at this point as a teacher because
of the amount of People i've had come in safety
in my, classroom like your, body my, choice and a
lot of other boys being incredibly misogynistic to their classmates
and belittling. Women at this, POINT i think we need
to pass legislation about mandatory algorithmic changes because these boys
are being taught to hate women without even meaning.

Speaker 2 (01:32:56):
To that's a lot to digest. There by the, way
if you ever listen To, kylie she's. Fun AND i
will say, THIS i, joke BUT i do go on
AND i fight against all the idiot haters on Her
insta and stuff like that BECAUSE i think people are.
Idiots she's got her, opinion she puts it out. There

(01:33:18):
DO i think sometimes she hasn't a. Point, Yes but
a lot of times it's, just you, know she never
met a grievance that she didn't agree. With so you,
know The internet hates. Women by the, way CAN i
just SAY i believe The internet for the most, part hates.
Everybody Maybe i'm wrong, there BUT i feel like The

(01:33:41):
internet kind of hates. Everybody and don't say we need
to pass legislation for the algorithms because that just screams of,
yeah and then eventually we'll make sure that we get
rid of this, no no legislation for any of that.
Stuff but DO i understand why she would be frustrated
a little? BIT a little Bit, again The internet hates,

(01:34:04):
everybody which brings us to. This youngsters In america want
to Leave, america especially.

Speaker 11 (01:34:11):
Women i'd say there's no one single smoking gun that
lies behind this significant increase we've seen over the last,
decade more of a range of. Factors first of which
is the issue of. Politics so we've been asking this
question for many. Years, historically there wasn't much of a
partisan gap depending on whether people would want to move
abroad depending on how they viewed their. Leadership that changed

(01:34:33):
in twenty seventeen Upon President trump's first election and has
remained a partisan issue ever. Since and we know that
young women who've driven this spike in desire to migrate
tend to lean more heavily Towards democrats than other.

Speaker 7 (01:34:46):
Groups but that's not just politics that's playing a.

Speaker 11 (01:34:49):
Role there's also an interesting trend when you come to
look at people's confidence in.

Speaker 2 (01:34:53):
Institutions that's a big deal right.

Speaker 14 (01:34:56):
There so.

Speaker 2 (01:34:59):
The, institutions and we'll get to the happiness thing coming
up in a little. Bit why you, know happiness globally
and why we struggle at. It but it's very interesting
about The democrats want to, leave but It's, trump, right
they just said. It the don't Like. Trump they want
to tick their ball and they want to. Leave, okay
you know that's, fine but it's not just Okay, democrats

(01:35:22):
the the and look in above board all. HONESTY i
think everybody should do everything they can to spend a
year or two living elsewhere globally because you learn a
new love of your, country but you also get more
education and understanding of things when you're outside of your

(01:35:43):
own comfort zone and. Country AND i the best EDUCATION
i ever got was living In europe from the TIME
i was like sixteen or, seventeen all the way up
UNTIL i, was you, know my mid. Twenties it was.
Amazing it's not BECAUSE i hated the. COUNTRY i love my,
country but it's, because you, know my dream was to
play pro, soccer And europe offered me that opportunity to

(01:36:05):
try and you, know flail around in the lower. Leagues
so we didn't have, that so there was NO. Mls
SO i took my opportunity and it was always a,
dream you, Know it's like a dream as a kid,
like you want to play for The. Yankees, well, yeah,
ME i want to. Play oh my, god there wasn't
even A premier. League that's how long ago that. Was
it's just it's a great thing to get a feel

(01:36:27):
of what others go through on a day to day
basis and. Live AND i say live because going there
on vacation is not the same as being in a.
Culture so, YEAH i think it's. Good but these people
are moving for, politics not for.

Speaker 11 (01:36:45):
Opportunity so over the same period when young women have
been growing increasingly keen to desire to move broad, permanently
they've seen a similar drop in their confidence in national,
institutions particularly around the issue of the national and judicial
syst and the. Courts we think that is in part
related to the twenty twenty Two adobs, decision around which

(01:37:06):
we also saw a significant decrease in young women's faction
with their personal. Freedoms but there's a whole range of
factors playing into this over the last, decade AND i
think it's important to mention that this question that we
ask asks people about their desire to, migrate not intentions or,
plans and not everyone who expresses this will. Move BUT

(01:37:28):
i think that itself raises a more interesting, question which
is how people and young women in this case see
their futures in their, country their, communities and whether they
offer them the chance to live thriving.

Speaker 2 (01:37:40):
Lives our country offers people the chance to live thriving.
Lives let's so much of this is based in trump
and they're taking away freedoms in, this that and the,
other and the. Emotion and we know that mostly young women,
tenderling not just, left very progressively, left a lot of

(01:38:01):
what they desire and want is based in not in
reality but. Emotion and because of, that the grass is
greener somewhere. Else but you know, what, Good go see
what it's like. Elsewhere go see what it's like. Elsewhere
go to other places and find out, too Which i've
had friend's daughters, Say, yeah they found out what all

(01:38:23):
they thought it was going to. Be, no it. Isn't
and that's that's what you have to, do, right because
that's how you, grow get out of your comfort. Zone try,
something didn't like, it found. OUT i was.

Speaker 10 (01:38:33):
Lucky gallup have.

Speaker 11 (01:38:34):
Been asking this to much of the world for twenty,
years and such gaps as you, mentioned between young men
and young women are exceptionally.

Speaker 2 (01:38:43):
Rare so in the twenty years we've been asking this.

Speaker 11 (01:38:46):
To more than one hundred and forty countries, annually we'd
never before this year seen a gap of more than
twenty points between.

Speaker 7 (01:38:53):
Young, women young, women and young men in desire.

Speaker 11 (01:38:56):
To, migrate that is until The United states this, year
showing just how divided young men and young women are
on this. Topic and to your second question around where
they'd like to, go and we ask a follow up
question for those who say they would like to, move
and this year and in many years, before young women
In america say they'd most like to move To, canada

(01:39:17):
with the credit to be long list of other mostly
high income countries after, that places Like New, Zealand, Japan
italy And france and many.

Speaker 2 (01:39:24):
Others, yeah you're not going to Like japan the way
you think it. Is and it's always like they're never.

Speaker 22 (01:39:29):
Going, ah you know where i'd really like to, Go, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Nigeria.
Venezuela it's always super high end, income mostly homogeneous cultures.

Speaker 2 (01:39:49):
Where they think they're going to. Get you, know let's
go To france and we'll just drink tea in front
of The Eiffel tower and wax poetically about philosophy and
then that kind of. Stuff it. Is it's. Interesting and
the happiness thing is interesting, too and we said it
earlier and we'll get into a little bit more tomorrow
about happiness and why we struggle with. Happiness but one

(01:40:10):
of the things that brings nations like The scandinavian nations in,
particular who are always like the Northern european, countries it's
usually five or six of the top ten are these.
Nations and the number one thing for these nations they

(01:40:30):
trust their. Government they trust their. Government do we trust our?
Government we do not trust our. Government should we trust our?
Government we should never at this moment in, time from
the lies they've, told the things they have, done trust
our government in any, way shape or. Form, now you

(01:40:52):
give them the benefit of the, doubt but you verify not.
Trust But i'm gonna give you the benefit of the,
doubt BUT i am going to verify that they absolutely
trust their, government which is something that again we don't.
Do britain is having a massive problem right. Now why
is that they don't trust their? Government from unfettered access

(01:41:14):
immigration wise to the cover up of the grooming, gangs
they've lost full and complete trol of the government and
that includes the left and the right side of the.
Aisle so there is trust is a big. Deal and
The europeans they tend to trust their. Government we look
at our government like ye and now we were looking

(01:41:35):

it flopped. Majorly originally it was a dance, song and

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
