Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Chat Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
It's getting ugly with Trump, Marjorie Taylor Green, a lot
of maga not happy about what's happening. And I told
you guys, this Epstein stuff wasn't going to go away.
The flips, the flops, the flops, the flips is not

(00:35):
helping Trump. It's not this weekend. He has been all
over the place from Friday. We're going to start an investigation,
and you go after everybody. Even two hours before he
goes and says, now we should release everything. Trump's like, Nope,

(00:58):
you got to go after these people. We got to
get these people. What are you hiding, sir? That's it.
What are you hiding? Who are you protecting? That's what
people want to know. You promised you were going to
be different. You promised you were going to be this transparent,
transcendent leader, and it feels like you're the same, old, same.

(01:23):
And I think he's finding out that there's a lot
of Republicans out there that are nervous about this. Not
so much that they're on it, although I'm sure if
there's a few, they would be, but more that if
there's a lot more to it, and they were seen
as somebody protecting powerful billionaires and donors that they're going

(01:45):
to get the stink on them.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
A major reversal from President Trump.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
I don't care about it released or not what I
think he should do.

Speaker 4 (01:53):
If you're going to do it, that you have to
go into Epstein's friends.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
This read often spend a lot of time the island.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
Why I was dever in his island, Bill Clint is
there supposedly twenty eight times.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
Trump last night making his new position clear. House Republicans
should vote to release the Epstein files because we have
nothing to hide and it's time to move on from
this Democrat hoax.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Well, it's going to happen. It's going to happen probably tomorrow.
Don Bacon, Republican Again, I told you guys, once it
got through and they got to two hundred and eighteen,
there was nothing that was going to stop them from
getting this vote out there. And now that it's out there,
guess what's going to happen. You're going to get a
ton of Republicans that will vote for this thing, far

(02:40):
more than people realize.

Speaker 5 (02:42):
I think the speaker realizes the train has left the
station on us. Let's rip the band aid off and
get it done.

Speaker 4 (02:47):
Now.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
I wish the President realized that.

Speaker 5 (02:48):
The more the White House pushes back on us, you know,
it just looks bad, right, I mean, it was the
Attorney General chaos on all these white binders. We're going
to release all this information and then a month later,
so no, we're not. So it's been a pr blunder
from the beginning. And I think the Speaker is right,
this is going to happen. So let's get it done
and vote on it. And we've got to realize it
still has to go to the Senate, that has to

(03:10):
go to the President for signature. Meanwhile, our Oversight Committee
is releasing thousands and thousands of pages of evidence concerning Epstein.
So for example, like three thousand pages was released late
last week. So the Oversight Committee, Republicans and Democrats are
putting out the data, they're putting out subpoenas. I think

(03:30):
it's already working. But like Tom, when this comes on
the floor, I'm going to vote yes on it. I
want transparency, we must. We want to protect the victims,
but everything else should just be should be open.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
And by the way, the victims, most of them, they
want it out there. How many of them are there
I don't know plenty, and that's where I'm with the victims.
I'm with the victims in this. They deserve other voice heard,
and they deserve to know that, yes, even the powerful

(04:04):
can pay the price for being awful. Megan Kelly's absolutely
getting just thumped as she should be, by her insanity
last week of trying to, in some weird way justify
what one of her friends told her about kids being
fifteen and that's barely legal. That's a bunch of crap.

(04:29):
Where the hell did that come from? What are you thinking?
That is not even close to anything? That is a minor,
That's what that is, and somehow that that's okay. Tara Palmery,
who's probably done the most work investigation wise for god

(04:52):
knows how long on this, has released something that I
think is very tersting. Just to give you an example
of fifteen, Hey.

Speaker 6 (05:04):
Megan Kelly, you want to hear the sound of one
of the girls that was recruited from her high school
by Jeffrey Epstein. We had a plus that was there.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
We had almost like product Alice west lethifin this book.

Speaker 7 (05:20):
One of his stuff, I'm one of his tell you
that he has one with them and when if they
played like want to girls that he bought, they like
hepback with him?

Speaker 2 (05:29):
They are so young.

Speaker 6 (05:32):
One of the girls, a fourteen year old, according to
police reports, referred to his penis as a wee wee.
Courtney Wilde showed up at his doorstep with braces on
her teeth at fourteen.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
This is not.

Speaker 6 (05:42):
Normal for a fifty something year old man to date
a fifteen or fourteen year old. It is pedophilia. And
in fact, I would recommend that you actually go and
listen to all of the audio from the police reports.
I think you would actually understand what was really happening here,
a sex trafficking operation at a nearby high school for

(06:03):
eight fifty something year old man.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
I agree. Disgusting, violent, disgusting. Hopefully we will get this
out and the people that did something paid the price.
But America wants transparency, and I have said, until you

(06:29):
can show me Trump did something, then that's just hearsay.
For the left, that's a want. They want that to
happen so they could say, look, we got them. There
are plenty of people in this that should pay the price.

(06:49):
And we as human beings, we as mothers and fathers,
sons and daughters should demand accountability. And if you fail
to do this, people are going to look at you
in a much different way. And I continue to say
this over and over again. Watergate took two years before

(07:10):
it finally blew up. Just putting that out there. Three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show,
is Your Acts, your insta, YouTube, Facebook, and more. A
lot of stuff to get to on this Monday. Affordability
always sitting there number one when it comes to us
as voters, as people who are out there every single day.

(07:36):
We're still a checkbook society when it comes to our vote,
and affordability is an issue. And Trump and the messaging
of the entire team hasn't been great in the administration.
It hasn't been last week. Of course, he flipped on
the tariffs, and there was a reason for that because
he's realizing they don't work. Look, when we were a

(07:59):
society that was a manufacturing society, tariffs played a much
bigger role. We're a consumption based society that is much different.

Speaker 7 (08:14):
One survey showing a basket of seventeen popular things giving
items in New York is up from about one hundred
and thirty five dollars last year to one hundred and
fifty eight this year. The report also finding some sharp
individual spikes, yam prices jumping a wopping one hundred and
eighty eight percent, but these high prices are not limited
to the grocery store. The cost of holiday shopping also

(08:34):
feeling that pinch this year. Some business owners say steeper
tariffs are raising their costs, giving them less room to
roll out Black Friday sales.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
Tariffs have always been at tax I could say it
over and over again. Thirty years ago, forty years ago,
fifty years when we were a nation that produced stuff,
tariffs may have been something that was a good idea
to protect. We don't we consume now. And it's not
just tariffs that have caused an issue. The insane printing

(09:06):
of money and handing it out, the four and a
half five years of chaos with COVID, all of those
things have played a role in this. But you can't
gaslight America and tell everybody how cheap everything is. And
I know it's their job to do that, but I
continue to say this over and over again. Be honest

(09:26):
with the people. They can handle it. That's it, be honest,
prices have gone up, some prices will come down, and yes,
over time, do I think in a year from now,
our prices are going to be down and we're gonna
be a great situation. I do believe that.

Speaker 8 (09:44):
Coffee, as you mentioned, up fifteen percent, uncooked ground beef
up fourteen percent, bananas up eight percent, fresh cakes and
cupcakes up six percent, let us up almost six percent,
launch meat, salad, dressings, tomatoes all up well more than
that two and a half percent. I mean, Americans are
clearly feeling the prices are continuing to go up, and

(10:08):
many with many of the goods that they buy regularly,
they are going up well and again more, I mean
my significant number.

Speaker 9 (10:15):
Let's look at it. First of all, when we came in,
the very first thing that all of you folks were
talking to us about was egg crisis. Yeah, and egg
prices are down year over year. You could have put
that in your church tho. But the fact is when
we had almost ten percent inflation, any I.

Speaker 8 (10:31):
Mean, that wasn't about economic factors. That was bird flu
with the egg prices.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
Just to be yes, that was bird flu, just to
be honest. But yeah, let's be real. The inflation under
Biden was insane. Why printed a whole bunch of money,
lied about it being you know this is this is
no big this is transitory, this no big deal, and
then did the ultimate to America, told them to stop

(10:55):
worrying about it because everything was great, which caused him
to piss people off and to lose even more trust
in him, if that was even possible, because you know
he was Biden. Not many people are trust in him
or what was going on. Be honest, it's simple. You're

(11:17):
honest with the people. They'll stick with you if they
see you trying to make an effort, continue to tell
the people that everything is great and you just don't
get it and your bank account's lying to you. You
watch what Happens three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty
four to twenty three at Ched Benson Show. It's Your Acts,

(11:38):

stuff to get to today, Venezuela. Will we or won't

Speaker 1 (13:09):
You're listening to the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
Israel not happy, Not a shaker. Why is that new resolution? UN?
They don't like it? Not a shaker.

Speaker 10 (13:19):
Israeli officials are criticizing a newly proposed UN resolution for Gaza.
The plan, backed by President Trump, offers a pathway to
Palestinian statehood. According to a statement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin
et Yahoo said, our opposition to a Palestinian state in
any territory has not changed, and that Gaza will be
demilitarized and Hamas will be disarmed, the easy way or

(13:41):
the hard way. News of the resolution comes ahead of
Saudi Arabia's Mohammed ben Salmon's planned visit to Washington, d C.
This week.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
That's right, he's visiting this week. I wonder what he's
bringing with him. So the Swiss came last week and
they brought chocolates, a Rolex, a gold bar. What do
you think he's going to bring with him. He's got
more money than the Swiss. I mean, you know, in
some ways, not in the banks that nobody knows about.

(14:09):
The meeting's going to be interesting, though, because all of
this stuff going on still the battle that's happening with
Hamas and Israel is one thing. But the political side
of it, because there's still plenty of people in Israel,
in the government that want nothing but to take over

(14:31):
the rest of Palestine and move on to the West Bank.
That is their belief, the Greater Israel plan. Do I
think it's gonna happen. I have no idea what's gonna happen.
I don't, But it's going to be very interesting to
see because while all this is swirling around, obviously you
still have what's happening with the conspiracies of Israel. Did

(14:55):
all this when it comes to Epstein. Look, we've talked
about it, We're going to continue to talk about because
you can't not talk about it. The fact is, did
Israel play a role in some of this Epstein stuff? Well,
I think they had a relationship. How much of a
relationship I don't know. Again, it goes back to the
conspiracy side of things that everybody talks about, and we'll

(15:18):
touch on that a little bit more. But when it
comes to the political side of it, net Yahoo in
them they want more than what they have, and as
far as they're concerned, it is a no go for
a two state solution. You can't have a one state solution.
It's not possible. Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four,

(15:40):
twenty three at Chad Benson Show. Is your Acts, your Insta, YouTube,
Facebook and more love hearing from all your ready on
the Chad Benson Show. Because eventually Palestine will outnumber the Israelis.
So the Palestinians will outnumber the Israelis, and they look
at that is there's a chance for them to pay
the ultimate price at the ballot box and then everything changes.

(16:03):
So that's just never gonna happen. Let me know what
you think. Meanwhile, in Mexico, if you're not paying attention,
and we have talked about this and will continue to
talk about this, the young, pissed and angry watching the
old get wealthy and be complicit in what they see
as a world that is going against them, are dangerous.

(16:28):
We will discuss a little bit more in detail about
what's happening in Mexico. But first, relief factor. Relief factor
is awesome. I worked out so much over the last
week and a half, and yesterday, having not golfed in

Speaker 1 (18:01):
The Chat Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
Are we going into Venezuela? Maybe? Maybe not? Is it possible? Maybe?

Speaker 11 (18:13):
The State Department has announced it's designating another cartel as
a foreign terrorist organization, even accusing Maduro of leading it himself.
The administration releasing the video of its twenty first airstrike
on alleged drug smuggling boats. President Trump has threatened to
go further and strike on Venezuelan and soil.

Speaker 2 (18:31):
I'll stay.

Speaker 11 (18:33):
But Maduro over the weekend calling for peace, singing the
John Lennon song.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
Imagine that was specta, imagine the paper. Yeah, he's terrified
by the way he's already offered us everything. He's already
offered us the whole kit and kaboodle. You want to
come in and take all the oil, you want knock
yourself out. You want to come in and grab all
the rare earth minerals. Knock yourself out. He's even said

(18:59):
he would step down, but not until after twenty thirty.
He gets what's coming. And the cartel they're going after
is the Suns. Are the Cartel of the Suns, so
is what they're called. And it is kind of funny though,
except that am my only people just it's not very

(19:22):
nice yet, No he is. Look, I don't we have
no reason to be there. We don't. The drug thing
is not really the issue that the you know, the
right the Maga folks want to make it out to be. Okay,
very little comes from Venezuela. Yes, some gets traffic through there,

(19:48):
but there's no reason for us at this moment in
time to be thinking about going in into there. And
as you've heard, and we'll talk tomorrow, do our buddy
Mike Lions our military animal. You know, if we were
to go in there hardcore, it would be a nightmare.
Doesn't mean we're not going to win and we're going
to just destroy them. They're very top heavy, so the

(20:12):
military that they have, the closer it gets to Maduro,
the better it is. But like anything else, we saw
that with in Iraq right the first desert storm. You know,
the further away you were from Saddam, the less you
cared about fighting for. So those guys are surrendering within
two minutes. So that's always a possibility. But he does

(20:33):
have militias and stuff of that nature that may cause
you know, some issues, But I think we're going to
bomb the hell out of them. If we do anything
at all, or he is going to bounce, which look again,
I don't think we should be going in there at all.

(20:56):
That being said, it would be great if the show
of force got him to act, because it's too late. Now.
We can't walk away. We can't move all of those
those men and all that machinery there and not get
something out of it, because it's going to make him

(21:16):
feel like he's won.

Speaker 11 (21:17):
President Trump says the US may hold talks with Venezuela's
authoritarian president, Nicholas Maduro.

Speaker 4 (21:23):
We may be having some discussions with Maduro, and we'll
see how that turns out. They would like, they would.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
Like to talk.

Speaker 11 (21:33):
It comes as the US mounts a show of force
in the region, the Navy showing the world's largest and
most advanced aircraft carrier, the USS Gerald Ford, arriving in
the Caribbean. It's joined by three destroyers, a B fifty
two bomber, and multiple fighter jets.

Speaker 2 (21:48):
The B fifty twos. We got them there, love shack
babe la. No, that's not them, wrong ones. So do
I think that some will get done? Yeah? I think
there will be some sort of bizarre compromise. But here's
the thing like anything. If we get into something and

(22:10):
we replace Maduro, which we're going to at some point
in time by the looks of it, we think in
our mind, well, this is going to go smooth and
everybody hates Maduro and all's going to be well. And
well that's not going to be the case. Inflation is
still going to be a rampant. Now you're going to

(22:31):
have more of a free market. People are going to
be struggling. There's going to be some anger, there's no doubt.
And so you're worry is does it break down and
become some sort of civil war, and there's going to
be people that are from the old Maduro regime. So
the US right now recognizes ed Mundo Gonzalez Urutilla. Now
he is the recognized by the US who won last

(22:55):
year's election. But here's the issue, no power in side
and in exile. Then you turn to Maria Corina Mushado
and she is the one who won the Nobel Peace
Prize then dedicated to Trump. So there's no verified official

(23:16):
USA government document out there, because they've talked about this
one hundred hour plan, so it's not something just kind
of flying around, but that they would try to install
her as the president. So I again, it is one
of those things where what are the unintended consequences if
we do something? What does that look like? And is

(23:40):
there a chance? And this is what you got to
think about all of the bad things. Is there a
chance that things could go sideways and then all of
a sudden there's a civil war because you got the
guy who thinks he should be president, the guy that
was just ousted as president, and then this person Maria
Corina Mushado. I have no idea. What I do know

(24:03):
is we're there, we're not going anywhere, and God willing
we fire no more bullets or drones or kill anybody else,
and that there could be some peaceful resolution, and you
never know. I'm hoping for it. I know I'm weird.
Let me know what you think. Three two, three, five, three, eight,

(24:24):
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson shows your
ex your insta Well. More on this later. Mexico over
the weekend, So you guys aren't paying attention. We touched
on it just briefly earlier. But Mexico this weekend had
a rally. The younger pissed and they're angry and I

(24:45):
think they're they're taking to the interwebs in a way
that kind of like they did earlier this year in
Nepaul when Nepoul tried to get rid of you know,
social media and the Internet. Next thing, you know, it
went sideways for them, and you know, people were, you know,
all of a sudden resigning people in mexicopists, especially the young.

(25:05):
They're looking around, they're angry. They don't feel like they
have anything going for them. The violence, they're over it,
and they're angry because they're looking around going this government,
along with many other have been corrupted by the cartels.
One of what many people looked at as kind of

(25:29):
this point of no return when it came to the
anger that they're feeling, was the killing of a very
popular mayor of European Mitukhan on November first, and that
has sparked absolute outrage because he was leading the anti

(25:54):
carteil efforts and it showed that, you know, without the
government really caring and the federal government side of it,
you're screwed. And these people are angry and pissed. So
yet thousands took to the streets over the weekend, all
right under the gen Z bantner. It's a banner, it's

(26:15):
a pirate flag upside down. And there was some issues,
not many. There was a lot more older people than
people realized. And there's this battle going on about who
sent who out there. Why should the gen Z be mad? Well,
they're mad because there's no transparency in the public resources,
no accountability they see for elected officials. The drug cartels

(26:39):
seem to be running so much, and the local corruption
is massive. They want better security policy for local communities
and officials, and they want a revitalization of democracy less
interferenced by criminal groups and politics. Good luck with that.
So this is you know, we're sitting your talking about,

(27:00):
you know, all the stuff that could go on with
Venezuela right next door to us, next door to us
in a much different way with the Venezuela is Mexico,
and their corruption is massive. Their situation when it comes
to the cartels is way greater than anything Venezuela has.
And yeah, it's happening. And the worry is for Mexico

(27:24):
that we're going to get involved, which God knows, I
don't want to get involved with anything, but let's be real,
you've got serious issues when it comes to Cartels. I
was talking to my kids this weekend about it. Mexico
City is like Barcelona or Rome or any big beautiful

(27:45):
city in Europe. You would see, right you get outside
of there and a few of the other big cities,
you know what you have. It's the wild West. And
the younger generation is tired of it. The younger generation
is tired of watching hundreds and thousands of people die
violence everywhere. Nobody cares who gets killed. And while this

(28:08):
is going on, they're also dealing with the same thing
that many others are dealing with, their age, affordability and
a future. So yeah, I think they're pissed. And what
do I always tell you about the young You put
the young together with time on their hands, frustration and anger,
and watch what happens. It is not a good place
for politicians to be. Three two, three, five, three, eight,

(28:31):
twenty four to twenty three at ched Benson shows your act,
your insta, YouTube, and more. Lot of stuff still to
get to today, and we're going to have a deeper
dive into what's going on with Marjorie Taylor Green and Maga.
A lot of people say this is it for Maga.
There's a lot of things going on in the Maga world.
And yes, Jeffrey Epstein could be the straw that breaks

(28:51):
the camel's back in some ways. But there's a lot
going on because the future of the party's looking around
going okay, who is the future of the party, What
does the party actually stand for? And who is going
to lead it? And because again, the Maga world is
different than the conservative world. And I think that's one

(29:14):
of the other things that you know, people are starting
to figure out. When I hear the word rhino, who's rhino?
You have no idea Republicans. I can't even tell you
how many Republicans are around anymore. Maga is different than
Conservatism in a much different way than you saw the
eighties Reagan Conservatives. Much different's talk about that also got

(29:39):
issues with betting again, the net, shall they say, is expanding.
But first, raycon best earbuds around. Love my Racon, you
will love yours, fit, feel, comfort, seconds and non sound quality. Well,
come on, it's the best around. I have the everyday earbuds,
and I also have the Classic earbuds, and these things
are incredible. I wear them every single day and right

(30:02):
now with the Classic earbuds, thirty percent off. So this
is your Black Friday Cyber Monday sale going on right now.
You need to take advantage of this, get ahead of
everything and start winning the holiday season. Over four million
people already have a pair. So if you're curious and
you think, hm, I'd like to try it, now is

surprised this weekend. One movie didn't do as well as
that thought it was going to do, and you have
more issues with gambling the hell that's going on. We
shall discuss that, among other things. Straight ahead, Jad Bencon.

Speaker 12 (31:03):
Joe Running with Scissors sounds great compared to.

Speaker 2 (31:16):
This say, The Running Man didn't run so well this weekend,
but there was magic everywhere.

Speaker 1 (31:24):
Who wants to see a magic trend?

Speaker 13 (31:25):
The third installment and The Thieving Magician Now You See
These series was number one with twenty one point three
million dollars in ticket sales they study U estimates, beating
the high profile action pick Welcome to the Running Man.

Speaker 14 (31:38):
People on these games never come back.

Speaker 13 (31:40):
The Running Man in second place with seventeen million at
the North American box office this weekend. Predator bad Lands
was third, Regretting You fourth, and Black Phone two fifth.

Speaker 2 (31:50):
They pumped a lot of money into The Running Man
and it did not do well twenty eight million dollars globally.
That's not big. Now You See Me though, did like
fifty five million dollars elsewhere, which was something I don't
think they were expecting. And Predator bad Lands it's already
done one hundred and forty million dollars. That's going to
get a sequel. But the whole money, the amount of

(32:13):
money they poured into Running Man, I thought, because fans
seem to like it, there's just no they're there. I
don't know why. No, they're there because it looks good.
Looks fun, but you can't have a twenty eight million
dollar opening weekend on one hundred million dollar budget, and

(32:35):
you got to double that, so you're looking at two
hundred million ways away before you break even on that.
Speaking of money gambling, sports, woo. Not a good situation.

Speaker 7 (32:46):
Did Quavious day Day Hunter sitting down with Good Morning Americas,
we'll reave after an NCAA investigation found Hunter and two
of the University of New Orleans teammates engaged in so
called point shaving, manipulating their on court performance to influence
the outcome of select games for betting purposes.

Speaker 15 (33:02):
I died, I mean I need to go out there
and I do my.

Speaker 7 (33:06):
ABASA investigators say the players even used a code phrase
to signal when they were altering their performance, and when
Will Reeve asked why he did it, Hunter began breaking
down a tear, saying he needed the money.

Speaker 2 (33:18):
He needed the money. Well, guess what you're done, as
you should be, do I understand why people do certain things. Yes,
that being said, this is this is different than the NBA,
But there's a betting scandal all over the place now
and you've got, of course baseball and now basketball, which

(33:44):
has already been investigated and then come back into light,
and theirs is very different because you also had cards
in basketball, and now it is expanding the search to
find out if there was more to this than just
what we've seen so far.

Speaker 7 (34:02):
The betting scandal in the NBA appears to be expanding.

Speaker 1 (34:05):
Reuter's reports.

Speaker 7 (34:06):
The league has asked multiple teams, including the Lakers, to
turn over phone records pulls up for jun A league
spokesperson confirming a number of individuals and organizations were asked
to preserve documents and records. Source to say two Lakers employees,
an assistant trainer, and an administrator have been contacted in
are cooperating.

Speaker 2 (34:26):
How much money could you've gotten to throw everything away
like that? Like if somebody said you got fifty million,
I'm like, well, at least you got something for it.
Right When you when you hear about some of the
numbers these people are offered, You're like, what the hell
are you doing? Are you blanking kidding me? That's all
you got as baseball players? I mean they were getting

(34:48):
two thousand, three thousand and four thousand. I just I'm
what's the mindset in that situation? What is the mindset
where you would go and throw everything away, hundreds of

(35:08):
thousands and in some case millions of dollars on two
thousand here and three thousand there. If they've got your
family and they say they're gonna kill them, Okay, all right,
well you know what I have to do. What I
have to do. But this wasn't that. Still don't know
the mindset three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four

We have to talk about what's going on Maga. What

(35:49):
is going on with Magga? Is this the beginning of
the end for MAGA or is this just a kind
of recon figuring of it. There's no doubt there's a
lot of issues right now in Mecca, and they seem
to be going in several different directions, not just a
singular thing. We'll discuss that Sharia law what in Texas.

(36:14):
We will discuss that as well a bunch of other
good stuff on the way. Can you see the show?

This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (36:53):
Release the Epstein No, don't really no, absolute no, go
after the Democrat. No, you better release the fun No,
don't you do it? You better want know you better
lely No. Yes, that's kind of what I think is
going through Trump's head right now. If you guys haven't heard, uh,
there's been a bit of a reversal from we're going

(37:15):
to investigate all of the Democrats to we're not going
to do that. Now we're going to release all of
these things. I have no idea what's going on. I
could not tell you what's happening. What I do know
is there's a vote coming.

Speaker 16 (37:32):
The Republican Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, who initially
resisted this effort, is now predicting this will get significant
support from Republicans when he brings it to the floor
for a vote tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (37:41):
Yes, significant support. Several Republicans who didn't sign on to
it said they will vote for it. So that's good
news because it should come out now. While all this
is going on. Somebody who's led the charge has been MTG.
Marjorie Taylor Green. You guys know, if you listen to
the show, I've had some issues with Marjorie the you know,

(38:01):
some of the stuff that she said crazy, Some of
the stuff that she said was for effect. In fact,
a lot of it was, And we'll get to that
in a minute in what she said this weekend. But
with all this going on and the push Trump is over.

Speaker 17 (38:17):
Marjorie, President Trump repeatedly going after one of his closest
nowallies and staunchest defenders, Congressman Marjorie Taylor Green Colin Green
a trader and wacky, saying he's now withdrawing his support
and endorsement, even dismissing death threat she says she received
in the wake of his attacks.

Speaker 2 (38:34):
I don't think her life is in danger.

Speaker 4 (38:36):
I don't think, frankly, I don't think anybody cares about her.

Speaker 17 (38:39):
Green was one of the four Republicans who signed on
to that petition to force that vote in the House.

Speaker 2 (38:44):
One of the four. All Right, you had Bobert who
really got the pressure, and she dug in harder and
now says there may be some more there there. You
had Nancy Mace, who has said this is very personal
having been a survivor of sexual assault, and Thomas, who
Trump calls Ran Paul Junior, who hates America, always votes no,

(39:05):
et cetera, et cetera, which is a bunch of crap.
So you have it. It's coming out Tuesday. So Trump's like, no,
we're not going to do this. They're weak, blah blah blah.
Now go investigate, Go investigate, Go investigate all the Democrats,
Go investigate this. Read Hoffman character and and and go
investigate the Clintons, and go investigate every Democrat you could find.

(39:28):
And then all of a sudden, it's like, now release it.
Wait what Yeah, now release it? So now we release it? Yeah,
now release it. That's what he's saying. I just want
you to understand that what he's saying is now release it,
because I don't think he thinks is going to get

(39:50):
through the Senate. And if it doesn't get through the
Senate doesn't matter. He's canna say, well, I wanted them
to release it, but you know what, they couldn't get
it through. And that's the that's on them, it's not
on me. But the MTG thing is very interesting. This
is not going anywhere anytime soon, and he is coming

(40:13):
for her again. Took away his support for her in
her reelection and now is floating all kinds of you
know who could run in that. It's so insane, But
there's no doubt right now there is a rift in MAGA.
Affordability is a big deal, and they want transparency. You

(40:37):
were supposed to be a change agent, and the only
change they see is the swamp was dominated by somebody
who was playing for the blue team, and now somebody
for the red teams in there and is dominating the swamp.
But still the swamp is the swamp. You're not cleaning
anything up. In fact, you're making it worse. You're protecting billionaires.

(40:59):
Tell me, anybody out there listening right now, name me
one good reason why these people should be protected. Tell me,
tell me one good reason why they should be protected. Anybody, Yeah,
I doubt you're going to come up with one good
reason why billionaires and millionaires, leaders of industry, and yes,

(41:26):
even certain countries should be protected. In this situation. Going
after her is I think a very big riff. She
still hopes they can repair their relationship. The fact is
is there's some serious issues here when it comes to

(41:46):
what's happening with this that I think people are starting
to understand. This isn't going away. This isn't going to
change tomorrow. This isn't going to change three weeks from now.
This is still going to be hanging out over everybody's head.
And now you've put so much chaos out there, and
you've confused so many people who believed you that now

(42:10):
they feel they can't trust you it's not a hoax.
Saying it's a hoax is doing a disservice to the victims,
and it's hurting Maga. It's hurting them in a major way.
And you're seeing more than a riff on. This is

(42:31):
one of the what have I told you guys about winning, sir?
You know, really solves everything. If you win, things get solved.
If you don't win, small things become big things, big
things become even bigger things, and things like this, well,
guess what happens. They show up and they start kicking
you in the grundle, and all of a sudden, people

(42:52):
are going, oh, so this is all you were about?
What we're done with you? What do you think happened?
What do you think is the reason for this.

Speaker 18 (43:02):
Unfortunately, it has all come down to the Epstein files,
and that is shocking. And you know, I stand with
these women. I stand with rape victims. I stand with
children who are in terrible sex abuse situations. And I
stand with survivors of trafficking and those that are trapped
in sex trafficking.

Speaker 12 (43:24):
And I will not.

Speaker 1 (43:25):
Apologize for that.

Speaker 18 (43:27):
I believe the country deserves transparency in these files, and
I don't believe that rich, powerful people should be protected
if they have if they have done anything wrong. And
so I'm standing with the women and I will continue
to do my small part to get the files released.

Speaker 2 (43:48):
I think that's a damn good thing. This is not
one of those things where you sit back and you say, well,
you know, it's not a big deal. No, it is
a big deal. It's a big deal because for the Republicans,
you guys made this mess. For the Republicans, you guys
created this mess by making this an issue. Well, why

(44:11):
didn't the Democrats. I don't think the Democrats really cared.
I think they thought everything that the Republicans were talking
about were just, you know, wacky stuff. I don't think
they cared because to them, it was. It's just another
conspiracy theory. It's another chem trail, it's other Jewish laser
beams from space destroying stuff. It's that kind of craziness.

(44:32):
They thought, wah, But MAGA wanted this younger generation of
MAGA wanted this, and now they're demanding it and Trump
stuck between a rock and a hard place. No, you're
not truth about this matters. Getting this out matters, and

(44:56):
it's not about catching the people inside there. Yes, that's important,
but it's also about showing, Hey, we're not gonna let
anybody get away with this, not now, not in the past,
not in the future. We promise you would get this done.
And this is what's going to happen if you protect
these people. What does that say to everybody else? Hey,

(45:21):
you're just as bad, because I think you are. There's
a serious issue here and MAGA is battling it and
Trump and the Republicans in particular, the MAGA side of
the Republican world. Do you put yourself in this position?
You put yourself in this position because you push for it,

(45:43):
which is great, But now that it's here and there's
a chance that this and again this has nothing to
do with justice, This is all to do with politics.
Could my side look bad, not whether or not these
young well these women now who are young girls get
their opportunity to have some justice, to have their voices

(46:06):
or no, no, no, no, it's not about that. It's
about politics. Is my side going to look bad out
of this? Is my side going to pay the biggest
price for this at the ballot box, not whether or
not they're with justice. That's what we should care about
in this situation. And the Republicans, if you hide this

(46:28):
and you don't vote for it, that's one of the
things we'll get to Thomas Massey a little bit later.
That's one of the things that he said is a
lot of Republicans are worried that they're going to be
seen as somebody who didn't vote for something that they
should have voted for. And they looked more like they
were protecting billionaires and donors than they were protecting the

(46:52):
people they said they were going to protect. Let me
know what you think. Three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four to twenty three acts had been to show
with your ex your Insta, YouTube and more. Next week,
travel time wise that Thanksgiving.

Speaker 19 (47:05):

one of them.

Speaker 19 (47:18):
Says travel industry analyst Henry Hartevelt.

Speaker 15 (47:20):
Monitor your reservation to make sure it hasn't been canceled
or changed.

Speaker 19 (47:24):
He says, the end of the government shutdown doesn't mean
the automatic end of flight disruptions.

Speaker 2 (47:29):
Speaking of flights, most things are back to normal for now,
their restrictions are lifted. The question, of course is going
to be whether things of that nature. But things are
back somewhat to normal now, so that's damn good news.
But yes, next week is going to be well, they're
expecting the two busiest days in history next week Sunday

(47:52):

You're listening to the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (49:51):
Charia law in Texas. Not so, says Chip Roy.

Speaker 20 (49:55):
What I would point out here is that we're dealing
with a cultural problem about who we are as America.

Speaker 21 (50:00):
Congressmanship Roy says the Pause Act is necessary because of
what he calls a mass foreign born population and a
decline in quality of life and opportunities for Americans.

Speaker 20 (50:11):
The people we're importing are often the ones that are
churning babies. Our core Americans who inherited this country aren't
having babies, and now we have a demographics problem and
we have a cultural problem.

Speaker 21 (50:24):
This is a non exhaustive list, but Roy said he
wants to either end or revamp H one B visas,
which allow companies to hire foreigners with specialized skills to
fill technical jobs. Birthright citizenship, chain migration, which allows citizens
and lawful permanent residents to sponsor family members to come
to the United States, and Plyilo v do the Supreme

(50:45):
Court ruling that requires states to allow the children of
illegal immigrants to attend public schools.

Speaker 2 (50:51):
Now you're thinking, Chad, what's the whole thing with shira law? Well,
here's the thing. First and foremost, affordability is one of
the recents people are having kids. We've talked about that,
we'll talk about again little b later. But the worry
in Texas is Sharia law. It's going to take over,
which makes me laugh. But Alas, what are you going
to do? Right? This is Remember, fear is the best

(51:14):
seller when it comes to getting people motivated to do things.
It's just easier to scare the be Jesus out of people.
So why does Roy want to do this?

Speaker 21 (51:26):
Well, to put it in his words, he says he's
noticed an advancement of Islamism and Sharia law in his
home state of Texas.

Speaker 20 (51:33):
We're dealing with a massive problem of the advancement of
Sharia law. We're dealing with a mass community that is
growing up that have no desire to assimilate and come
here to become American and embrace Western civilization, embrace our constitution,
embrace our values.

Speaker 21 (51:49):
Roy's bill will not become law because it won't get
sixty votes in the Senate, but it does represent a
larger trend throughout the conservative movement. Republican lawmakers have introduced
bills to end a and change birthright citizenship so that
it only applies to the children of US citizens and
permanent residents.

Speaker 2 (52:08):
There is no sharia law in Texas. Now, Is he
right in some ways about the fact that you have
people that come here and do not want to integrate
in society. Absolutely? Three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty
four to twenty three At Chad Benson shows your acts,
your Insta, YouTube, Facebook, and more. Let me know what
you think right here on the Chad Benson Show. Sharia

(52:29):
law is never going to happen, first of all in
Texas because well Texas, Okay, this is not gonna happen.
It isn't. But fear again gets people motivated to do things.
Always has been, always will be one of the great
drivers in politics. Speaking of immigration and whatnot, Guess who's

(52:52):
next up on the dhs searge, Come on down, Charlotte.

Speaker 22 (52:59):
The Department of Homeland Security has announced this operation as
Operations Charlotte's Web, saying it's targeting quote criminal illegal aliens,
crowded in Charlotte taking to the streets in protest as
some residents voiced their frustration. It all comes after similar
operations in cities like Los Angeles and Chicago have at
times turned violent. Officials in North Carolina now urgent.

Speaker 2 (53:22):
Calm, Relax, relax, This is what Trump promised. Again, people
don't like the way that the sausage is made. Doesn't
mean it's going to be perfect. Now pleading for calm.
We shouldn't have to do. But we're going to see
what this looks like. Again, this will happen on several occasions,
there are several cities and then what well, then we'll

(53:42):
go from there. A lot of it's going to depend
on how people feel about the way it looks. It's
sad to say we shouldn't be in this situation what
we are. We allowed how many people to come across
the border? Bidened it millions upon millions. So this is
something that is an issue. It is being dealt with
and at times, yes it doesn't look good, but what

(54:06):
did you expect. You can't allow eight ten million people
to wander across the border and there not be some
frustration and repercussion. Misney Show grad the podcast this is
the Chad Benson Show, The Chad.

Speaker 1 (54:20):
Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (54:43):
I've heard a reality homeownership. The American dream used to be.
Is it that way anymore? I think for a lot
of young people in particular, now it's not that I
believe they feel as well, that's gone away.

Speaker 23 (55:00):
We wanted the real McCoy a place of our own.

Speaker 24 (55:04):
It's the American dream buying your first home. But today
it's an opportunity that for many fields out of reach.

Speaker 2 (55:12):
It is literally impossible to buy a house right now.
Sousing market just keeps getting more and more discouraging.

Speaker 24 (55:18):
According to the National Association of Realtors, the median home
price is now above four hundred and fifteen thousand dollars,
up more than thirty three percent since twenty twenty. Twenty
nine year old Sam Hart and her husband purchased their
first home this summer, two years after posting this.

Speaker 1 (55:35):
Okay, so I'm just checking, we're all an able to
buy house right now?

Speaker 24 (55:38):
Right hearts video going viral on TikTok hello, with those
views turning into dollars that she combined with the family
loan to help make a down payment.

Speaker 25 (55:47):
The house that we bought was much more expensive than
what we thought we would end up buying.

Speaker 2 (55:52):
Yeah, I hear it every day. My little brothers and
sisters who do quite well for themselves. They can afford
to own a house, not right now, and if they could,
I mean together, they could easily pull together enough. The
problem is is do they really want to buy a
house together? And the second thing is because you can

(56:17):
your entire you know, as I was talking to my
little brother, it's like, Okay, yeah, I can afford to
put some money down and buy a house. The issue
is the house I want to buy is nowhere near
anything that I would want to be near because you
have to buy it so far out. He's out in California,
so you know, take it for what it's worth because
it's California, and it goes in the other side of

(56:39):
it is Then all of a sudden, I am a
homeowner at a home that I've probably overpaid for and
all of my money, for the most part, goes into
the home. Well, Chad, that's part of it. No, that's
not part of what I think most young people were
dreaming of thinking of when it came to homeownership. Now

(57:04):
there's a lot of things to go into it. Supply
is a big thing. The other thing is we build
these homes nowadays. They're not starter homes. They're not a
thousand square feet, They're not twelve hundred square feet you know,
two bedroom, three bedroom, they're four bedroom, three bad twenty
two hundred square feet and somewhere. I mean, they're big
homes comparatively to what we had in the past. But
it's still a supply and demand thing.

Speaker 24 (57:26):
While twenty eight year old Katie Geigel and her husband
say they're holding off on starting a family until they
can purchase a home.

Speaker 1 (57:33):
You said this was your biggest dream, it is.

Speaker 25 (57:36):
Yeah, we would love to own a ho and be
able to raise children somewhere, but we just don't know
if that's going to happen for us.

Speaker 24 (57:41):
On truth Social this past week, President Trump floated a
new fifty year mortgage up from the standard thirty as
a way to help home buyers.

Speaker 4 (57:50):
All it means is you pay less for monty paid
over a longer period of time.

Speaker 1 (57:54):
It's not like a big factor.

Speaker 3 (57:56):
It might help a little bit.

Speaker 2 (57:59):
No, who gets richer at the bank. It want to
be one hundred and seven still paying off yoursk still
paying off your mortgage. I mean it's it's look, they
threw something out there. For most people, it's not even
the payment, it's the down that they're going to struggle
coming up with. You know, the couple at the beginning
of this, they saved up for a year or two,

(58:19):
but they also got a loan from mom and dad.
A lot of people I know that have got homes,
you know who again, I'm fifty four and they're on
their second home. But that wouldn't have been the first
home if it wasn't for mom and Dad given them money.
Most people don't have that.

Speaker 24 (58:35):
But critics argue it doesn't address rising home prices and
could lead to more pain in the long run.

Speaker 25 (58:41):
The thought of our best option being a fifty year
mortgage and we're paying our mortgage off still in our seventies,
in our eighties, it's really discouraging.

Speaker 24 (58:50):
Experts estimating a buyer purchasing a median home under a
fifty year mortgage would likely spend around two hundred dollars
less in monthly payments than if they had a thirty alone,
an option that realture dot COM's senior economist Joel Berner
says comes with pros and cons, and.

Speaker 26 (59:07):
That might make a difference for some people. But the
cons are that when we make financing more flexible in
this way, it's more buyers going after the same number
of homes and prices will go up.

Speaker 2 (59:18):
It's still supply and demand. It's still supplying to me.
And I saw this weekend they tried to blame immigrants
for buying up all the houses. I'm like, what are
you guys talking about. That's insane, That is absolutely crazy
that they came over nobody's talking about the fact that
there are huge companies out there that are purch purchasing

(59:38):
single family homes everywhere and controlling the housing market in
that direction. Nobody's talking about that. No, it's immigrants. They
came over here and they bought homes, which immigrants legal immigrants.
Is that what you're telling me again? Looking for the villain.
The villain is supply and demand. Not enough supply for

(01:00:01):
the demand that's out there, not enough supply for the
amount of people that would like to purchase a home.
That's the big one. Some of it is red tape
when it comes to just getting the permits. Some of
it is zoning right when it comes to cities and states.

(01:00:22):
There's a lot of things to go into it, But
to try to blame one singular thing, it's ridiculous when
we know the biggest of all the things that we're
going to blame anything. It's just here's the supply, here's
the demand. If I have nine homes but I got

(01:00:43):
twelve buyers, what do you think is going to happen
to those homes? The people that really want to buy?
Are we going to be willing to spend more to
get what they want?

Speaker 24 (01:00:57):
That's the law of supply and demand, and loans would
be more expensive. Compared to a thirty year mortgage, A
fifty year would cost buyers almost four hundred thousand dollars
more over the lifetime of the loan.

Speaker 26 (01:01:11):
After those ten years, and on a fifty year mortgage,
you normally have about a fourteen percent stake in your home,
So wealth just grows a lot more slowly.

Speaker 24 (01:01:19):
A grim reality for first time home buyers desperate for
a solution to help keep the American dream alive.

Speaker 25 (01:01:26):
At this point, when someone of my age does it,
it's like, wow, how did you do that? The idea
of the American dream and being able to come and
have your own place has been essentially nothing that I've
seen in the past a couple of years.

Speaker 2 (01:01:41):
And it's going to be tougher until we figure out
the supply and demand we need that supply. I don't
think the demand's going anywhere. You get a lot of
people are giving up, but the supply side you build
that up. And again we have to start thinking about
how we're building up homes. Do we need eighteen hundred,
two thousand square feet for a starter home or can

(01:02:03):
we think about a starter home being in a situation
where you know it's a home of where it's a
thousand square feet? Is that something because it's not your
forever home. It's a stepping stone, but it gets you
in the game. Let me know what you think. Three two, three, five, three, eight,

(01:02:24):
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson, show it
to your ex, your Insta, YouTube and more. Meanwhile, speaking
of affordability, there is issues with affordability when it comes
to other things that aren't homes, like food and whatnot,
in particular beef. Where is the beef? Well, my stakes
has the beef? We understand that.

Speaker 27 (01:02:44):
I want to move on to affordability because this is
another issue that the Biden administration brought you. Of course,
we remember when inflation was at forty year high's. President
Trump has made this a priority, but suddenly there is
more talk about the struggles in the living. I spoke
with the CEO of Omaha Steaks on Friday on Mornings

(01:03:05):
with Maria, and here's what he told me.

Speaker 2 (01:03:06):
Watch this.

Speaker 28 (01:03:07):
So we are headed for what I'm calling, Maria, the
ten dollars a pound reality. By third quarter of twenty six,
families are going to see ten dollars a pound ground
beef in the grocery store.

Speaker 2 (01:03:21):
So we're in for a bit of a haul here.

Speaker 28 (01:03:24):
I don't believe we'll see price come down in any
meaningful way until sometime in twenty twenty seven.

Speaker 2 (01:03:31):
That's not good. That doesn't help. Remember, everything being done
is politically to set yourself up to win next year's midterms.
So you're truly not a lame duck who is then
being investigated over and over again by the Democrats. You

(01:03:51):
can't have realistically, you can go through the first quarter
and have a shot. If you think that we are
going to get into the middle of next year and
prices are still going to be up and we're in
a position where we could be heading towards or maybe
in the midst of a recession, and you think, well,
it's just a matter of time before things get good.

(01:04:14):
It's too late at that point in time. It is.
It is very much too late at that point in time.
And you couple that with all the stuff going on
with Epstein. You guys, see where I'm going with this.
Winning cures all ills. And the Republicans know that, the
Democrats know that. And it's sad because you know, there
are Democrats pulling that we go into some sort of
recession into the first quarter into the second quarter to

(01:04:37):
give them the power to grab the House and potentially
the Senate, because it's politics. Remember it's never about what's
good for American people. It's politics. On the other side, again,
the Republicans do everything they can to try to fix
this situation, especially when it comes to things like inflation.

(01:04:57):
I mean, they're starting to realize now the tariff issue,
you is a very real issue. And you saw them
pull back last week. Trump goes, Okay, we can't do this,
so do I think, Look, we're due for a pullback.
It doesn't mean we're not going to be sitting good
a year from now, but a year from now is
too late for the Republicans this sectuary.

Speaker 27 (01:05:20):
I know that President Trump has been able to rain
in inflation, certainly the cost of some foods and energy,
But what is your take on what you just heard
He's expecting ten dollars meat?

Speaker 29 (01:05:33):
Well, well, Maria, Maria, the beef market is a very
specialized market. It goes in long cycles, and that this
is the perfect storm again something we inherited. And there's
also because of the mass immigration, a disease that had

(01:05:53):
been we've been rid of in North America made its
way up through South America as these migrants they have
brought some of their cattle with them. So part of
the problem is we've had to shut the border to
Mexican beef because of this disease called the screwworms. So
we're not going to let that get into our supply chain.

(01:06:15):
And again, I don't want to focus on one product.
It's a very important product, and we are laser focused
on this issue.

Speaker 2 (01:06:27):
I have no idea. So wait, I just want to
go over this again. You think that Scott Passant there
everything is awkward with him. You think that the screwworm
was caused by illegal Mexican beef that came with people
that cross the border illegally. Is that what you're trying

(01:06:50):
to tell me. I was trying to figure this out.
This feels a little awkward. No, what you have is
we've had very very small amount of herds over the
last several years. Okay, you've also got the meat packers.
But is there four meat packers that dominate. They have

(01:07:10):
a monopoly, and the way that they work this is
so there's four major meat packers, Tyson, JBS, Cargill, and
National Beef Okay, And the way it works is even
when prices go down for beef, prices that we pay
go up because they can restrict slaughter capacity. So even

(01:07:35):
when cattle prices drop, they can go up. They can
maintain the wide profit margins regardless of the fluctuation. So
what happened is you saw a bunch of ranch or
sell their cattle prices collapse during COVID, consumer saw prices
go up right for beef. Packers made huge, huge profits

(01:07:57):
during that time. And we're seeing it over and over
in several different ways. And everybody's known about it, including
the government. Yet they do nothing. There's been several lawsuits,
price fixing, bid rigging, coordinated reduction in slaughter volume, manipulating
the future's market. And now what you have is a

(01:08:18):
situation too where JBSUSA is a subsidiary of a Brazilian company.
National Beef Packing Company is the majority ownership is a
Brazilian company. So you've got all of this as a
perfect storm and a nightmare when it comes to prices.

(01:08:39):
So this is something that is going to be around
for a bit and the government's got to figure something
out because no paying ten dollars a pound next year
for beef is going to not help you win reelection.
It's going to anger people. I think we understand that.
So we're going we're gonna see the way this thing

(01:09:00):
goes moving forward. But there's no doubt that this affordability crisis,
not just in the homes, but when it comes to
the necessities of life like food is a huge issue,
the number one issue for Americans. Let me know what
you think. Three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four

It's time for the urban word of the day.

Speaker 4 (01:11:08):
The young have a vocabulary all their own, and we
break it down for you.

Speaker 2 (01:11:13):
It's called the urban word of the day. All right,
your urban word of the day. Many of you feel
this way. I know I have in the past. Sometimes
you're not feeling good, and you know what you need,
not medicine, but medicine. Medicine. That's where you just need
to chill in your bed all day, relax, get yourself better, right,

(01:11:34):
take a little bedicin. Oh yeah, I like that. Medicine
is your urban word of the day. That was the
urban word of the day. Now, you know, I think
all of us could use a little medicine. Every now
and then. I'll tell you what I'm looking forward to
having some days off next week, for the next you know,
a couple weeks through Christmas. We're gonna have time off
because i haven't taken that much off and I'm doing

We go live usually most nights during the week on
the old YouTube and Twitter and Insta, So if you
have a chance, check us out, we'll be there right
around seven o'clock Eastern tonight, right here in the Chad

(01:12:15):
Benson Show. Coming up, our number three of the program,
Marjorie Taylor Green apologize for something this weekend. We'll talk
a little bit about that. Obviously, the Epstein files are
the big news. I'm trying not to bomb part us
with that because I don't want it to be that's all,
because I think there's a lot of things out there.
But there's no doubt you have to talk about it,

(01:12:36):
especially as they head into tomorrow and the big vote
and what does that look like and what's fun going
to do Over in the Senate side of stuff. We'll
talk about that, and then Trump talks about America, America, America,
and I hear a lot of things from people out
there who big Trump supporters about finally making America great. Well,
I got news for your kids. We were always great.

(01:12:57):
We'll talk a bit about that as well. If you're
missing the show, make sure if you have the podcast
our number three Straight Edge. I've been the job.

Speaker 1 (01:13:02):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (01:13:32):
What's gonna happen with Epstein? Well, he's dead, so that's
good news. I know that sounds horrible to say, isn't
it weird? Though, Let's be honest. Okay, it's not weird.
But if there's a person who's murdered somebody and they're
trying to get their life straight and they've served their time,

(01:13:53):
we in many cases will do what we can to
give them the opportunity to do that and wish them
the best and hope that they got their life straightened out.
If you've done something horrific to a child, even if
you don't do anything else but you've served your time,

(01:14:16):
want nothing to do with you. We don't. We want
nothing to do with you, which I get, I totally get.
I mean it is you know, it's not about forgiveness,
it's not about any of that, and because unless you
were a part of it, it's just there is something different.
You know, if you've done something to a child, there

(01:14:39):
is just no forgiveness. There isn't. And I'm not talking
about if you were eighteen and she was seventeen or
something like that. I'm talking about like what we saw
with e Stein. And you know, we went through something
similar here locally with a client that people have found
out about something that he had done. That's all I'm

(01:15:00):
going to say. And it was no sorry, and you know,
it's just but had he honestly, had he killed somebody,
paid his debt to society and was getting his life
in order and doing okay, it would have been a
much different thing. It is just that is how we

(01:15:23):
view what happens to children, the most vulnerable in our society.
Children when we see it's such as children, by the way,
when you see there's a reason nobody wants to watch that.
Damn Ah, We'll remember there's a reason for that. And
the reason is simple because when we see things that
are vulnerable, children animals are heart no matter how hardened

(01:15:47):
it is, goes out and we want to protect and
we get angry. We do, and there's just something about that.
So I understand because let me tell you something. This

(01:16:07):
to me, this whole thing with Epstein, because of what
I went through as a child, understanding that there needs
to be a reckoning, and that protecting people who hurt
the most vulnerable and took advantage of the most vulnerable
need to pay the price for it, and that if
you're not going to actually follow through with what you said,

(01:16:32):
you are a huge part of the problem. And that's
what people are looking at tomorrow a vote, And I
think this vote is going to be very interesting the
way this happens.

Speaker 16 (01:16:47):
The Republican Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, who initially
resisted this effort, is now predicting this will get significant
support from Republicans when he brings it to the floor
for a vote tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (01:16:56):
And I think it's going to get a lot more
than significant support any of them. I don't know. Thomas
Massey talking about this weekend, who, by the way, is
a perfect example of how horrible politics can be. Thomas Massey,
Trump goes after him all the time, right, he like
allal Ran, Paul Junior and stuff. He's from Kentucky. He
always votes No. What he is is he's a principal.
He's a libertarian who you know, much like Bernie and

(01:17:20):
Angus King Caucus with the Democrats. He's a Republican, but
he's not. He's a liberty. He's far more a libertarian
than most libertarians if you think about it. And he's
very principled in what he does. He's very principled in
what he does. So just a quick thing about just
to show you how nasty politics has gotten. Thomas Massey's

(01:17:43):
wife of thirty years died last June. They've been married
thirty years and he got remarried not too long ago.
Trump came out hammered him on that, said what a
lou he was, and then of course Laura Lumer chimed

(01:18:06):
in to raise questions about the wife and what happened,
as if to allude to they did something for that.
It is so insane how politics has gotten to the
point where it's like, you guys are the worst type
of people. And look, I Thomas Massey, you know, do

(01:18:30):
I agree with everything?

Speaker 7 (01:18:31):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:18:32):
But I will tell you what, he's principled. He believes
what he believes in so wholeheartedly when it comes to
you know, the politics of the spending and stuff like
this with the transparency that he believes it, and he
walks the walk and he talks to talk when very

(01:18:54):
few do. And for that, I mean, good on you, brother,
good on you. But he was on yesterday talking about
the vote, what's coming and why. You know the fear
factor of this for the Republicans.

Speaker 8 (01:19:07):
President Trump fought long and hard to prevent your discharge
petition from going through. You won that battle. Now what
happens how many Republicans in the House follow your lead
and defy the President on this.

Speaker 15 (01:19:22):
I think we could have a deluge of Republicans. There
could be one hundred or more. I'm hoping to get
a veto proof majority on this legislation when it comes
up for a vote. And you know, the President's been
saying this is a hoax. He's been saying that for months.
Well he's just now decided to investigate a hoax.

Speaker 1 (01:19:40):
If it's a hoax.

Speaker 15 (01:19:41):
And I have another concern about these investigations that he's announced.
If they have ongoing investigations in certain areas those documents
can't be released. So this might be a big smoke
screen these investigations to open a bunch of them to
as a last ditch effort to prevent the release of
the Epstein file.

Speaker 2 (01:20:00):
Now that was yesterday, and now Trump's out there going, no,
we need to vote on it, we need to get
this out there, we need to release it. But I
don't know what's going to happen. Are you saying you're
going to release it? But then you're going to say, well,
hold on a second, we are doing investigations. It's all
this stuff that's swirling around. And my question goes on
and on. What are you afraid of? What are you
afraid of? When it comes to this, and more and

(01:20:23):
more Republicans are voting for this because they look around
and they say, you know what, I don't want to
get the stink on me.

Speaker 8 (01:20:30):
I mean, it is extraordinary to hear him demand an
investigation and only mentioned democrats, only mention his political opponents.
But you're saying he doesn't really he may not really
even want any investigation. He wants to prevent the release.
Why does he want to prevent this? What is he
what is he afraid of.

Speaker 15 (01:20:46):
You know, I've never said that these files will implicate
Donald Trump, and I really don't think that they will.
I think he's trying to protect a bunch of rich
and powerful friends, billionaires, donors to his campaign, friends, in
his social circles. And that's my operating theory on why
he's trying so hard to keep these files closed.

Speaker 2 (01:21:08):
I will tell you if that is why he's doing it,
that is vile and disgusting and just as bad because
those people are still out there, and they're still out
there and they can do whatever they want. At that
point in time, we got away with it. Now, why
shouldn't we get away with it in the future. People
will remember that. People will remember that what do.

Speaker 8 (01:21:28):
You think is actually in these files? I mean, we've
seen so much Ebstein material from the criminal cases, the
stuff that just came out this week, you know, from
the estate.

Speaker 2 (01:21:37):
What do you think is left?

Speaker 15 (01:21:39):
Yeah, I don't have to guess at what's in the files.
I've talked to the survivors through their lawyer, and we
know there are at least twenty people in those files.
There are politicians, billionaires, movie producers who are implicated criminally
who haven't been investigated. And it's up to the FBI,
not the survivors, and the DOJ to release those names

(01:22:01):
or at least to investigate them. And when I see
Donald Trump announce a bunch of investigations, I don't see
him going after these rich elites that are implicated in
these files, according to the survivors.

Speaker 2 (01:22:13):
No, he says, go after Read Hoffman and Clinton and
everybody by the way, read Hoffman, who is a big
Democrat donor and everything. He said, Yeah, bring out the files,
bring them all out. Let's see what they all are.
And I told you guys last week, if you go
look at any of these things, any of the files,
don't look at the names in the you know, so

(01:22:35):
you know, send to and there'll be fifteen people, of
which ten of them you will recognize as powerful people.
Sometimes a lot of times it's just their emails back
and forth about dinner or this, that and the other.
But you recognize, Okay, this is the circle that this
person travels in. This is that circle. So just to

(01:22:58):
put that out there, that is what you're dealing with here.
And there's a fear factor. And the question is why
why are you not allowing this to happen. And can
this hurt MAGA. I think it absolutely can hurt MAGA.
I think what you have going on right now, this
battle of Maga, is a bunch of people out there

(01:23:22):
in the MAGA world are looking around saying, you know what,
I've had enough. I've had enough of this. You promised
all of these things. We thought you were something that
you really not. You're no different than the rest.

Speaker 14 (01:23:39):
You have an instance where the president's America First policy
starts to break with what Congresswoman Green and others in
the MAGA movement have been running on and in full
support of. They're the saying in politics, if you want
a friend, get a dog, right, and this puts the
congresswoman in a position to choose to represent the interests
of her constituents, which is not just on the Epstein

(01:23:59):
files in transparency promise there by Trump included. I think
we're starting to see that we're in a second administration
where they're looking at the future of the Republican Party
where Donald Trump is not the leader of You've.

Speaker 2 (01:24:11):
Got a lot of stuff going on. You got people
who are frustrated and pissed about the fact that he's
not releasing stuff the prices are up. Like I say,
winning cures all ills. The second side of it, and
this is very important, is they're looking around saying, well,
what happens next year? Because you got midterms and if
you're a lame duck, but you're kind of becoming a
lame duck right now, then what happens? Where does it

(01:24:34):
go from there? And who is the next guy. I
couldn't tell you who the next guy is, but I
will tell you this. There is lots of infighting. But
you never want to be the guy after the guy.

of the thanks trending in the magical world of X. Obviously,

(01:29:27):
Marjorietaylor Green and Trump. Fighting is a big deal. Affordability
is a big deal. One of them is politics and
the other one is life. One of them is about
politics and has very little to do with life itself

(01:29:49):
for the average person. The battle that you see going
on between Marjorie Taylor Green and stuff. While she says
she's fighting for certain things and again, I've had my
issues MDG in the past, the reality is is that's
a political thing. Life being affordability is much different, and
we have an affordability problem. I think people are starting

(01:30:12):
to recognize that, even on the right. I think most
people recognize that who are independent and on the left.
It's just amazing to watch people battle over this. There's
no reason to battle over this. We have an affordability problem.
Recognize it. And if you're the government and you think

(01:30:32):
that you can do something about it, that's great. But
you're fighting the fight of what matters in the political world,
not what matters to the average person. And that's the
thing I think most people are frustrated with. Let me
know what you think three two, three, five, twenty four,
twenty three at Chad Benson Shows, your ex your Insta,
your YouTube and more, Phumosity Show, the podcast, This is

(01:30:54):
the Chad Benson Show, Son, Chad.

Speaker 1 (01:30:59):
Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (01:31:22):
Marjorie Taylor Green, who of course now is hated by
MAGA because that's what you do. You spoke against him out.
Dare you do that? No, you should be able to
call out anybody in politics, right or left. I spoke
out against Biden in his insanity the entire time he
was running for president, and when he was in office.

(01:31:49):
If he did something good, I would say something he'd
really do anything outside of letting god knows how many
people into the country unfettered access, put a hyper speed
on inflation. I told the world it was transitory, don't
worry about it. Yeah. So yeah, I went after Bide
and Trump if he does good, I think he's done
a hell of a job at the border. I think

(01:32:10):
immigration on the other side, as far as the deportation side,
hasn't gone as well as he thought. That being said,
you should be able to critique. Most people are terrified.
The thing with modern politics. Modern politics is this pelebrities

(01:32:32):
say stuff loud, say stuff outrageous, build up a base,
keep them hyped, keep them scared, keep them in your corner.
That's not a good thing. It isn't. Modern politics is
telling everybody that you're there to save them. You know

(01:32:57):
on oh really once or twice today, but over the
last couple of days, because you know, we've talked about
on my national show and my local show, what is
going on with obviously Epstein and what is happening in
that situation where I've called BS on more than a

(01:33:18):
few occasions, and I get pushed back all the time.
And I get more people though, over the last several
weeks that have come out and said, you know what,
I'm glad that you're pushing back. I'm glad. I don't
know if I do that, but I'm glad you're pushing back.
And it's not about pushing back. I'm not pushing I
don't want Trump to fail because if he fails, it
makes our life harder. That's what happens. He makes our

(01:33:45):
life harder, just like when Biden failed, it made our
life harder, more expensive. When I hear people say all
the time, well, if it wasn't for him, you know,
America wouldn't be great again, I said, well, that's what
you really think. That's sad. America's always been great. Yeah,
we've got some egg on our face and some situations. Yeah,

(01:34:05):
we have made some mistakes. But I believe in America
because of Americans. I believe in America because I know
who we are, and when push comes to shove, I
know the people we are. I get frustrated that we

(01:34:26):
have too many people now that are driven by the
cult of personality. Too many people out there who are well,
they're just hell bent on saying the most outrageous things
they possibly can, so they can get likes and clicks
and build up a brand. Like I said Marjorie Taylor
Green this weekend was on CNN, and of course she's

(01:34:47):
evil and bad. And let me tell you something, I've
hammered her insane ideas and the stuff that she has
said for quite a long time. I find a lot
of what she said it was abhorrent. I find a
lot of what she said was ridiculous. I found it
to be no more than clout chasing, if you will.

Speaker 18 (01:35:02):
In the world of politics, I would like to say humbly,
I'm sorry for taking part in the toxic politics. It's
very bad for our country, and it's been something I've
thought about a lot, especially since Charlie Kirk was assassinated,
is that I'm only responsible for myself and my own

(01:35:25):
words and actions, and I am going, I am committed,
and I've been working on this a lot lately to
put down the knives and politics. I really just want
to see people be kind to one another, and we
need to figure out a new path forward that is
focused on the American people, because as Americans, no matter

(01:35:46):
what side of the eye we're on, we have far
more in common than we have differences, and we need
to be able to respect each other with our disagreements.

Speaker 2 (01:35:56):
Absolutely, and I hope she really means that I do.
Modern politics is about a bunch of people coming pelebrities
saying the most outrageous things to get likes and clicks
to build up their brand. It doesn't bring us closer together,
does the exact opposite. And unfortunately, not only do people

(01:36:17):
say that, then you have to look at things like
the algorithm that feed into this situation where you can
say the most outrageous things and get more and more
likes and clicks. My buddy yesterday asked me, he goes,
does it bug you all the things that people say
about you? I go, no, doesn't bug me. He's like,

(01:36:37):
why doesn't it bug you? And I said, well, to
be honest with you, I said, it's a great saying
from the magic television sho called Rick and Morty. If
you guys ever watched Rick and Morty, Rick Sanchez is awesome.
It's about this grandfather who's the smartest human being on
the planet or any planet, and he travel around and
they go on all these adventures and they fight aliens

(01:36:57):
and whatnot. But he said this episode, and I said,
I think this matches a lot of the way I
feel about many people out there who say horrible things
about me. I've seen what makes you cheer? I love
that line. Your booze me nothing. I've seen what makes
you people cheer. We're an amazing nation. We're incredible nation.

(01:37:22):
And when I hear people say, well, we're gonna make
America great again, or two out of every five women
now want to leave America for good because they hate
America for some and I think to myself, the grass
that is and greener as you think it is elsewhere,
and this country is the greatest, and the reason many
other countries that you would like to go to are
able to live the lives they're able to lead is

(01:37:44):
because of us. We're a very blessed nation. But so
much of that blessing comes from us, the individuals, not government.
Government is a means to an end, and in many cases,
like now, whether it's tariffs or inflation, because they're the
only ones who can print money or wars or whatever

(01:38:06):
it is, they're more of a hindrance than a help.
But it is us that moves things forward. I believe
in US. I don't believe in government. I believe in
me and my fellow man and my fellow American, even
though at times they're a little wacky. I'm a little whacky.
I'm not perfect by any means. But I look around

(01:38:29):
and modern politics is boring because it's not politics, it's
high school. They're not interested in the truth. They're interested
in the politics and getting you to believe something they say.
They're not interested in in justice. Say for what's going
on right now in the chaos that is Epstein, they're

(01:38:53):
interested in the politics of it. If the justice help
their sof they'd be interested. If it potentially hurts them
or everyone, they want no part of it. We've got
to do better as a nation. There is no doubt

(01:39:15):
in my mind that we can and we will. But
right now we're in a situation where algorithms, bots anger
are driving our emotions, and because of that, the fear
is winning out and it can't and it shouldn't. We

(01:39:39):
need to get back to having conversations with one another.
We need to get back.

Speaker 24 (01:39:43):
To being.

Speaker 2 (01:39:45):
Neighbors that even if we disagree, it doesn't mean we
have to hate each other. And we need to get
back to what is the actual truth. We were talking
the other day about Ronald Reagan, and I said, the
greatest line I think in politics, in my mind, came

(01:40:06):
out of what Ronald Reagan said. And it's a quote
that's been kind of credited it to him in modern times,
although it may have come from a minister or scholar
back in the day something similar. But Reagan used to
go around saying there's no limit to what we can
achieve if no one cares. Who gets the credit? And

(01:40:26):
he kept it right there on his old desk. We're
too busy trying to win for a party, for our tribe,
for the right meme than actually trying to do what's
best for the American people, which is what I care about.

(01:40:46):
That's what I care about. Let me know what you think.
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four, twenty three
at Chad Benson Show. Is your ex your Insta, your YouTube? Facebook?
And more? Meanwhile, speaking of chaos and craziness, are we
going into Venezuela? Maybe? Yes? Maybe no? This weekend was
so bizarre. So if you guys didn't see this weekend, uh,

(01:41:10):
let's just say now that we've got the Gerald R. R.
Ford there maneuvers are happening. Show of force is more
than real at this point in time. This isn't about
blowing up you know boats. This is about look what
we can do. Look what we have in front. You
have nothing, Maduro singing a different tune.

Speaker 11 (01:41:33):
The State Department has announced it's designating another cartel as
a foreign terrorist organization, even accusing Maduro of leading it himself.
The administration releasing the video of its twenty first airstrike
on alleged drug smuggling boats. President Trump has threatened to
go further and strike on Venezuelan and soil.

Speaker 28 (01:41:50):
Then I'll stay ball.

Speaker 11 (01:41:53):
But Maduro over the weekend calling for peace, singing the
John Lennon song.

Speaker 2 (01:41:58):
Imagine it was so spectac Imagine all the people sounds
like my grandfather seeing it. It's just spectacular. I'm like,
is this the most surreal thing you've ever seen? But yes,
what we've brought is is badass. And we're not there

(01:42:18):
to say hi or be pals. It's there for a reason,
and that reason is simple. Do we have to blow
you up to take you out? What are we going
to do? Who are we going to replace you with? Now?
Maduro is trying to do everything. He wants to stay
in power, but mostly wants to stay alive.

Speaker 11 (01:42:36):
President Trump says the US may hold talks with Venezuela's
authoritarian president, Nicholas Maduro.

Speaker 4 (01:42:41):
We may be having some discussions with Maduro, and we'll
see how that turns out.

Speaker 2 (01:42:48):
They would like, they would like to talk.

Speaker 11 (01:42:51):
It comes as the US mounts a show of force
in the region, the Navy showing the world's largest and
most advanced aircraft carrier, the USS Gerald Ford, arrived in
the Caribbean. It's joined by three destroyers, a B fifty
two bomber, and multiple fighter jets.

Speaker 2 (01:43:06):
Yeah, there is a show of force, and he's offering
US oil, natural resources. He wants to figure out a
way to stay till twenty thirty, which I don't think
is going to happen. I think we can all understand
that he also wants to try to figure out a
way to put his second in charge in charge or whatever.
But there is somebody outside of the country that in

(01:43:31):
twenty twenty four we recognize as the winner of their elections.
But then you've got the woman who won the Nobel
Peace Prize who believes that maybe she should run this
and there's a supposed one hundred hour kind of paper
or something out there plan that if they were to

(01:43:53):
take him out or he was to leave, that within
the first one hundred hours would do this, this, and
this again. All of it is in the air. But
we're not there because he gets to stay in charge.
Because if he got to stay in charge and we
left and nothing happened, he would just say I stood
up to America. So we'll see. We'll talk to Everyudy

(01:44:17):

(01:45:23):
Benson Show.

Speaker 31 (01:45:34):
Irreverence, Like, yeah, so what it's the Chat Benson Show.

Speaker 1 (01:45:41):
Jeffrey Epstein, I Billy knew the guy.

Speaker 23 (01:45:43):
Okay, as evidenced by the thousands of pictures of us together,
dancing and grinding our teeth at various parties, always leering
and pointing at something just off camera, probably a book
we're excited to read.

Speaker 9 (01:45:57):
Okay, what about the specific email where Epstein said that
Trump was the dog that hasn't barked?

Speaker 2 (01:46:04):
Okay, okay, okay, First.

Speaker 32 (01:46:06):
Of all, all right, I'm not a dog. I'm not
a dog. I'm more of a cub or, possibly an honor.
Definitely not a twink. I think that's clear. Not a twink, right,
maybe twink. You know, gays of words for everything. Right,
geeky we like to say geeky. It means talking. Second,
I thought Meghan Kelly made a terrific point this week.

(01:46:29):
She said, Epstein's not a better viile terrific thing.

Speaker 23 (01:46:31):
Did you say out of nowhere?

Speaker 32 (01:46:33):
Great job, Megan, Meghan.

Speaker 23 (01:46:35):
They should put it back on TV legalized Meghan.

Speaker 2 (01:46:38):
Yeah, No, what she said the other day was abhorrent
Sarenai Live went off on all that was going on
on the whole Epstein thing, which is not goingwhere. Tomorrow.
We're going to get a vote, I think, and it's
going to be interesting to see how many people actually
vote in favor of releasing the files.

Speaker 24 (01:46:58):
Okad?

Speaker 2 (01:46:58):
Is that not releasing the file? It's about is there
going to be justice? That's the thing that should matter.
And I keep saying that over and over again for
the people, for the young women who were young girls
who were abused by these filthy, awful, horrific men. Will

(01:47:21):
they get justice? Will they get the opportunity to have
some justice because they're not all dead, and chances are
they're running around doing well what they've been doing, and
we can't have that and you can't protect them, nor
should they be protected, but they should have their day

(01:47:46):
in court. But hiding it from everybody shows more guilt
than it does innocence. And now that he's flip flopped
from we're never gonna release this because we're going to
go investigate into all the hopes to absolutely release this,
well we'll see what ends up happening. But this isn't

(01:48:08):
going away. And I've told you guys that on numerous
occasions it was never going away because MAGA wasn't going
to let it go away, and the Democrats eventually, once
they realized there may be some there there that it
wasn't going to go away, will lo and behold. Now
you have what you have and if there's nothing there
and nobody should be worried, well, then what's the big deal.

(01:48:31):
And as far as protecting the young women who this
happened to, I think a vast majority of them have
come out and said we want this released. Let me
know what you think. Three two, three, five, three eight
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Shows, your

(01:48:54):
hearing from all of you right here on The Chad

To remember that if you're exhausted, your head's not clear,

just twelve hours of sleeping and doing nothing. So I

(01:49:16):
think all of us can deserve once in a while
as well, a lot of stuff we hit today. Affordability
thing is still big. It's not going anywhere. That's for
damn sure. Reach out to us across all of our
social media. I love hearing from all of you. Mike

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
