things all the time, all glimphall glimps. It's all good. Definitely
shout out the pool. Always missedhis energy when he's not in the room.

(01:11):
Yeah, man, I gotta starting. Thank y'all the same person.
I seen you in the same roomat the same time. And well we'll
get y'all back together. H Iguess next week we'll see right right,
just doing a little rotation cameo goingon here. Yeah, well, last

(01:32):
week, in your absence, whogot the opportunity to talk about his Chicago
Bears ad nausea because there was noCowboys and and and Jets talked to interrupt
him. So he went in andcan I get a little highlight, Uh,
kind of give some of my Jetsand the Cowboys since I missed last

(01:53):
week, and that's what I wasleading to. Yeah, so in his
absence, you get the opportunity todo the same. So we'll start with
the with the Jets, they haveto hire a draft pick. What was
were your thoughts on the Jets draftclass. I think overall, you know,
I was surprised that they throws upgoing crazy on the fact that they

(02:28):
picked those two running backs, butdefinitely seemed a little odd. But Braylen
Allen, I think is going tobe a steal. I really like his
skill set, I like his speed, I like his size, and I
think it's going to translate whether wellin the NFL. But when you look
at what the Jets accomplished, man, they was able to trade back a
little bit and pick up a draftpick later in the draft. I they

(02:52):
might have turned into the quarterback fromFlorida State, Jordan Travis, but I
like who they picked up. Ithink that line in from Penn State is
going to be a beast. AndI think with the no they got a
shot for Shane Yeah. Absolutely,Yeah, he's a monster. And we

(03:15):
got Tyron Smith and I can't thinkof the other tackle that we brought in
from free agency, but both ofthem got INJURDI, thank you, Moses,
and so those with those histories, chances are this dude is gonna see
the field at some point going intothis year. So really excited about that.

(03:38):
I really like the wide receiver thatthey picked up, Malachi Corley.
I think it is the yack Kingwhat they called, yes him, the
yack King. I think we needthat in our wide receiver room. And

(04:00):
then you know, I'm I'm pleased. I think they they gave the protection
for Aaron that he needed, aswell as getting some weapons that I think
also will translate and as we gothrough the season. So I'm I'm pretty
cool what they did. Yeah, absolutely, What do you What did you

(04:26):
think about the Cowboys class? Youknow, I wasn't a huge Guidon fan,
so you know, in terms ofthe tackles that were available, I'm
definitely looking at others as better talentedthan Guiden. But he had a size,

(04:50):
he we got some really good coaching, and so if we can build
him up and turn him into thatleft tackle, and I think we really
hit a home run because I thinkthem trading back and then picking up an
extra pick to get BB. Ithink his name is a guard, Hooper

(05:13):
BB, a guard that they're goingto basically probably make our center. So
I really liked. I like thatdepth, depth move trying to because we
needed a center and a tackle aswe picked the draft. As we went
into the draft, so hm,the one pick, the one place I

(05:34):
thought they would have went earlier butthey didn't was well, actually it was
two. One was running back.I thought we would come out of this
draft with a running back. AndI also I also thought we'd get a
linebacker earlier. I do when I'mreading a couple of videos. I watched

(05:55):
the linebacker that we got out ofNotre Dame. You know, we'll see,
we'll see, but he's not DrianCooper, who I really liked.
You know, that's kind of Iwas hoping we might get no doubt.
So that was actually my first questionto you about the Cowboys, considering they

(06:16):
didn't take a running back. Yeah, at least not early and as early
as expected. But with that theybrought back Zeke. Yeah, so I
mean you are where you are.But is Zeke the answer at this point?

(06:36):
I think he's an answer and notthe answer just depends on what the
us right. So the question isis he the answer of having him get
four hundred carries and be the bellCow running back that he was five years
ago. No, I don't thinkhe's the answer. I do think and

(07:00):
answer to a question of is herea role for a veteran running back who
can get you the tough yards, could be a mentor and in some games
maybe still get it twenty twenty fivegames because he had to high hand.
I do think really good teams thatgo on you know, they have that

(07:21):
player, and I think he couldbe that player. So I'm not I'm
not looking for him to be ourstar running back. I don't think we
have a star running back on histeam, which was disappointing, which is
what I was hoping we get inthe draft. But I do like rical
dabdo I think he's solid. Wegot the real really short running back,

(07:42):
Deuce Vaughan. He hasn't shown muchin his one year, so we'll see
what he looks like here two.So not what I was hoping for with
the running backs. Yeah, andyou know, a stable of backs at
this point in his career service. But he's you know, he's you know,

(08:03):
a reliable veteran. You know whatyou're getting and in that running back
room and a bunch of young talent, right you know, kind of be
the leader of that pack. So, I mean, every every roster has
holes, and we we we arelooking We're looking better. I think with

(08:24):
the we picked up a tackle,a big three one and forty pound tackle
late in the draft. I thinkthat's gonna help. I like the guy,
Marshawn Neeling, Yeah, I likeneed. I think for our like
we had trouble stopping to run lastyear and so I'm hoping added him.

(08:50):
Also considering we lost Darrence Armstrong,we lost Dante, so we needed some
defensive end right support in that room. So I'm not mad with that,
especially with DeMarcus Lawrence also on thetail, and we got to start building
that defensive end. Yeah, nodoubt so you might be in this situation

(09:18):
next year, considering Dak may notbe back, but possibility it is.
Right, So we're gonna talk quarterbacks. So out of all the first round
quarterbacks, yeah, all of them, there was a lot of them,
who do you feel is in thebest situation and going into their rookie year.

(09:43):
So when you look at what Calebhas on his roster, I think
from a talent perspective, he hasthe best roster in terms of talentable side
of the ball and ability to comein and be successful. I do think

(10:05):
it's a lot of pressure also,so I don't I wouldn't come to me
even with the talent. When youadd that level of pressure, I don't
think that's the best situation. Ialso like Pinnix in terms of a roster.
I think Atlanta is building a decentroster there that at the time he

(10:26):
plays, I think he's going tobe in a really good situation. Right,
But everything right, right, soallow that other other young talent to
improve. By the time he takesover, he should be the head of
a nice a nice offense. ButI think this year everything being everything,

(10:48):
I like what's going on with Jadeand Daniels. I think he's going to
be the one that probably doesn't startimmediately and it pays off and he's very
successful at Washington. Yeah, Ilike, you know, his opportunity,

(11:13):
Like you said, if he doesn'thave to play right away, you know,
if they you know, trying toforce him in and play him before
he's ready, it could get ugly. And yeah, you know you can.
You can ruin the core young quarterbackthat way. So hopefully they let
him grow into the job and notsuccumbed to pressure to play on me.

(11:35):
I hope. So I think becausethey are you know, I don't think
they expect to win their division thisyear, so I mean, I think
that gives their franchise a restart, and so you know, don't even put
him on the field to you confidentthat he's ready and a game one,

(12:00):
maybe it's Game four, but justmake sure he's ready and there's nothing wrong
with allow him to season up alittle bit, right, Yeah, definitely,
what are you who you think isin the worst situation? Honestly,

(12:22):
I think out of them all,i'm because I think it was most of
them landed pretty and pretty good places. The one that I worry about most
of is Michael Pennix. To behonest, that that draft pick surprised me,

(12:48):
and so I think it surprises everybodyin in in Atlanta especially that's I'll
just say, it's just trying tobe nice. That surprised me. When
you look at the other quarterbacks. This is relative relatively speaking. I think
bo Nick's landed in a really goodspot. He's in Denver, and so

(13:13):
I think having no expectation of winningright now, but a coach who has
shown the ability to develop a reallygood quarterback. I like that. I
like where Drake ended up in NewEngland, like that. Even even JJ

(13:35):
in Minnesota. Mm hmmm. Ithink that's that's gonna be a nice fit.
And so the one that I worrymost about is Panix because he's a
he's an older guy. I justI wonder if it starts to affect him,
like because I think he probably couldplay somewhere right now. I mean,
I think he was the one thatI liked. I thought he was

(13:56):
underrated. I thought he was underrated. Yeah, but I guess like it's
kind of like a mean linked atthis conversation about Michael Pennix. My thought
is, I know, he's anolder prospect, but if he gives you

(14:18):
he's a starter when he's twenty six, and he gives you ten years of
solid to great quarterback play, whocares how he wasn't. Yeah, yeah,
I'll definitely take that. But yougotta get to that point first,
like you said, So you know, as long as he develops as he
should by sitting, yeah, itshould be an issue. And I really

(14:41):
like the situation that Jaj McCarthy's in, you know, especially again if they
don't play him right away, whichthey there's no expectation to win big early
and he'll be able to sit behinda veteran and Sam Donald and h you
know, let him be as mediocreas he's gonna be and and step in

(15:05):
when he's ready. And I guessmy biggest concern is with bow Knicks is
because I guess because he's bow Knicks, so it really wouldn't matter where like
the situation he's in, but he'sI do agree that you know, Sean
Payton's and that offense is going tobe, you know, good for him,

(15:30):
but bo Nicks is a checkdown mate. And if he's not able to
push the ball down the field, like we saw with Drew bi Drew Brees
was like at the end of hiscareer when he couldn't push the ball down
the field, But there was atime, right, But bo Knicks,
you know, even as he's anolder prospect, but even early in like

(15:52):
his his college career, he wasn'ta big down the field pass or a
lot of his like big completions wereoff you know, catching runs and a
lot of checkdowns. So if he'snot able to push the ball down the
field, it's not going to createa lot in that offense. So that's
my biggest concern is just that it'sbow Knicks. But like I said,

(16:15):
relatively speaking of course, because Ithink they all ended up in solid situation.
Yeah, I think I can't thinkof who they had total rock,
But I definitely think Denver is goingto need a solid running game to open
up some play action opportunities to gethim and throw it down the field.

(16:38):
Yeah, they have a running backWilliams North Carolina. He was coming off
in a c L last year,so hopefully's Devonte Williams. Yeah, sopefully
he's uh fully recovered. But yeah, I agree that they need a running
game. They're gonna need defense andoffensive line, and he won't he will

(16:59):
not need to be the focus ofthat that offense. And again I think
they're in a division that then kindof like Washington, no one's expecting y'all
to contend. Yeah, you gotKansas City Raiders, the Chargers. I
mean, I know, you know, you got Peyton and everything, and
so I'm sure he chomping at thebit wanting to win. But again this

(17:22):
is definitely a reset year. Yeah, absolutely, Yeah, don't know.
And so so what were I meanI heard from Kean and through YouTube and
yeah tv clips, like what waswhat was the what were some of the

(17:44):
best reactions you saw to the MichaelPennis I think as it the I think
the best way to describe it isjust how it evolved. And so the
initial reaction you just would be thetypical you know, fanatic fan who just
loses it, just kind of likeI can't believe here we go again,

(18:06):
you know, you know what werethey thinking? But I think so as
you know, people started to maybelearn up a little bit more about who
this pendis do it is, learnmore about the contract for cousins and understanding
that it's kind of just like atwo year contract. So in essence,

(18:27):
if after the second year they wantto hand it over, the pendis you
didn't lose nothing financially. So Ithink some of those things help people kind
of temper their emotions. But Ithink also this is where you know,
the mock draft process has created suchexpectations for people. Most people had Atlanta

(18:51):
picking a defensive player, and sothis came to be a shock to t
point earlier, like everybody. So, but I definitely think it's evolved where
people are, you know, lookingat this as the future quarterback and are
really anxious to see what it lookslike on the field. Yeah, and

(19:17):
you got a point, like mydraft process from since they a million outsiders,
whether we're they're experts or professionals orsitting in their mom's basement making like
gats, we're all outsiders, right, so we don't know and like we

(19:38):
always say, all it takes isone team to shake up what you thought
might happen. So nobody none ofus were inside of the you know,
the Facons draft room, and weweren't privy to what they were thinking,

(20:00):
what any of the other teams think. Who's to say that if he got
past Atlanta and Oakland wouldn't taken orDenver wouldn't taken. So we don't know,
but we all kind of becomes groupthink. When everybody gets set on,
uh, he's that Atlanta's gonna takea defensive player, we assume that
they're wrong for taking him. No, that's that's obviously that was their guy

(20:25):
and that guy, and and themore you heard is like, hmmm,
right, man, that might notbe a bad idea. Yeah. And
so you know, like I said, the pool last weekend, like we
always say, nobody knows it'll bein at least another three to four years
before we really know about any ofthese players. Easy. So, and

(20:48):
that's why, you know, it'salways good to look at drafts from three
or four years ago and be like, oh yeah, yeah, totally this
one. Yeah, and you know, and and it's funny because everybody likes
to give like Malk hyper heat becauseof his missed assumptions on players, and
it's bad takes on prospects from threeyears ago. That happens to all of

(21:08):
us. Oh yeah, you know, but you know, he's an easy
target because he's malekper but and Ithink that's really what you learn by looking
at the draft is that it isso hit and miss, and even some
of the ones who at the timepeople imagine, oh yeah, that's a
great pick, that's a solid pick, whatever reason, they just don't work

(21:32):
out as all, like very risky, right, and like we just situations
matter, man, mhm, andlike talent and past performance doesn't always indicate
like what's gonna happen when they gettheir situations always matter and not even the
situation that they go into. Thatsituation can change year or year. It

(21:55):
does change. So, yeah, can you of off the top of your
head, think about one prospect youthe most wrong about, like in real
time, the most wrong about.Oh there was oh man, I wish

(22:15):
I knew this cat's name, buteverybody was wrong about this guy. But
he was an alignment that came cameout of Ohio state. The Jets drafted
him very very early. He's apass rusher, oh h and n him?

(22:37):
Yeah him, And you know it'sa it's a situation where the Jets
are craving a pass rusher. Thisone drops. I mean, he's perfect.
We pick him and it's like soliddraft. Jets get the pass rusher
that they've been looking for, neverpanned out never panned out. That's definitely

(23:00):
when that comes. Yeah, alot of people were wrong about Front and
Ghost. It's looked like Tarzan playedlike James that that is what they said
about. How about you? Anybodycome to mind off the top of my
head and I run. I thinkthe Cowboys just picked him up running back
from Oregon. Jeez, what ishis name? Played for the Bronco Royce

(23:29):
Royce Freeman. Oh, I didn'teven know who this guy was. But
yes, okay, yeah, wedid just sign him. Okay, yeah,
Royce. I thought Royce Freeman wasgonna be the next Le'Veon Bell.
Wow. And I mean he maybe the next Le'Veon Bell in the sense
that they'll both be out of theleague in two years. But uh yeah,

(23:51):
panned out right. But man,it's uh his college fam. I
was all over him. That wasat the time when you know, Le'Veon
was going through his contract issues andwe were planning for what whom who might
be the next back, And Iwas like, Oh, that's the guy

(24:12):
that's gonna be the guy. Hewas not the guy. He was not
the guy that seems so long agowith the Le'Veon Bell contract dispute. But
he ends up playing with the Jets. Yeah, man, oh man,
it was the Jets. Yeah, and won a Super Bowl with the Chiefs.

(24:32):
Wow, right, Yeah. Iwas looking at this thing the other
day, so of course Le'Veon beingwho he is. I knew he was
with the Chiefs, but I totallyforgot Terrell Suggs also won the Super Bowl
Chiefs. Mm hmm, right likethe earlier one. I guess I rushing

(24:55):
look at that. Dang's people alwaysgot to roll for a good pass rush,
all right, But yeah, Ijust saw Terrell's Suggs in a Chief
uniform and I was like, huhfor that? About that? We have
to go through a few always ravenright right right right, yeah, switching

(25:15):
gears, last thing I want totalk to you about. So it seems
to be a bit of a AndI'm glad who's now for then this in
this regard because who don't even know? The NBA Playoffs is going on right
now, so I can't discuss nothingwith it. So he te he checked
out Chicago not in it, right, and so so I'm glad you're here.

(25:41):
But he might have had something tosay on this as well, because
he saw the changing on the guardwhen Michael retired for the third time.
So, but what being where weare now, we're in the midst of
the playoffs and there's no Lebron,no staff, no kd M and we're

(26:03):
starting this there's a shift, adefinitely shift, and that's been coming for
a while. But who do yousee? And asses with the caveat because
I think it's difficult for international playersto achieve their status game here. So
who do you see? Even ifit is one of the international players,

(26:26):
who do you see is the nextface of the NBA court. So I
think that's where we're at, kindof like as this rap Beef rap beef
is playing out that people are fightingfor the game of thrones. I think
that's what's happening over the next coupleof years with the NBA, And so

(26:47):
I think this playoff season this yearis going to be real interesting as I
think one of the new potential facesends up with the title rights. And
I'm saying this assuming that Denver doesn'tget it, because I'm with you,

(27:07):
it's hard for the t Dyokovich tobe the face of the NBA just because
he's international. It's going to takehomegrown player on that Crown. So I
like, I like Anthony Edwards.I think he has a lot of what
it takes. And I also likeJason Tatum. I think both of them

(27:32):
have the makeup the talent to bethere, but winning is going to you
know, have a lot to dowith it. Who kind of assumes that
new role. And they also havea good duo, like a good player
playing next with them, good teamsthat they could win within a sustained manner.

(27:55):
And so it's kind of who I'mlooking at Tatum and Anthony Edwards.
Yeah, I think those two arehigh list as well as his name escapes
you right now from Orlando Zion,no from from the Magic, from Duke
the other Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, he's very talented. Yeah,

(28:18):
but again it's gonna take winning toachieve that. But yeah, and you
mentioned Zion, Like I think GiantZion fumble the bag so bad he could
have Ben jam yeah right. AndI like Wemby like in terms of his
talent, right, Like, hehas a talent to be the face of

(28:44):
the NBA, and assuming he stayshealthy, he will be kind of like
Giannis and yeah, you know, like that the best international player who could
be the face of the NBA.But since you're not born here, you
will never be the face of theNBA, right type of fella. Yeah,
and you know there's so many likenuances to that, because I mean,

(29:07):
not only were you not born here, but then there's you know,
people talks funny. Yeah, andthis is just what people think, you
know, you know, I wouldimagine no, go ahead, No,
I'm saying that just not as relatableas of course, but yeah, so

(29:29):
I get it, go ahead.I was gonna say, it's definitely a
marketing thing. And it is quitepossible that in our lifetimes that you know,
these statements aren't applicable, right likethat, you know, maybe the
game has become so so so internationalthat the face of the NBA does become
possible a possibly a international player. But I think where we are now,

(29:55):
this next generation, yeah, yeah, no need because because I'm in the
midst of, you know, findingmy guy after Lebron, and I can't
seem to find him. I loveAnthony Edwards. I was about to say,

(30:17):
keep watching Anthony Edwards, man, watch his game. I'm like he's
got and especially because they're playing theNuggets, you know me, and that's
my son's favorite team. So I'mjust like, yo, don't be surprised
he is cooking your boys. Ratherjust saying what I see from his kid

(30:38):
is special. And what we saidwas what I said, shout out to
you who you know Lebron. Mynext comment, I said, what it's
going to take is that he isestablished as like Lebron established himself very early
in his career by taking down someheavyweights by himself. I was like,

(31:00):
this is Anthony Edwards moment. Youknow he could have a Lebron type effort
and where people are like anybody watchingAnthony Edwards? Nice? Yeah, and
you know, and he's his gameand it is not just his talent,
but the way he plays the gameis he's so mature beyond his years.

(31:22):
I appreciate it. I can.I think his mental toughness is at even
at another level above somebody like Tatum, who's you know, had his struggles
taking that next step. Yeah, but yeah, Anthony is definitely a guy.
And I like Paolo because you know, he's super talented. But it's

(31:45):
tough to be a fan of themagic. I think that's gonna be his
prime area obstacle. You know,he might have to leave, like Shaq.
Yeah. Yeah, Magic is hardto keep players and fans down there,

(32:06):
and we'll see if he can continue. He needs some additional help,
and so I liked what I sawfrom some of the backup not back up,
but supporting staff, and so theycould continue to grow as he grows.
Yeah, it might be interested.Yeah, I mean, they got
some nice pieces down there, butI ain't wearing no pinstripe jersey. You

(32:30):
got standards. Ever. Last thingyou mentioned, the rat beef is currently
going on right now, and wewe kind of touched on, you know,
current hip hop battles and beef ona previous episode. But what are

(32:52):
your thoughts on Uh, well,I'll assume that you think like I think
that Kendrick at at this point isjust shooting up Drake's funeral. But tell
me what you think, so I'llbe honest. I haven't listened to the
songs mhm at all enough to judge, like, just offer my personal assessment.

(33:15):
Definitely from what I have heard asI'm listening to others, it seems
like like to your point, it'snot even close and it's been I mean,
I've just been kind of getting itfrom my children, like where are
we to play by play and yeah, it hasn't been pretty. It hasn't

(33:37):
been pretty, not at all.And uh, you know I was I
was aware from the from the beginning, but I wasn't really up on it
like that until a fourteen year oldson m into it. So every morning
waking me up like, Yo,did you hear about so? Okay,
it's tough for me start paying attention, like really paying attention, And yeah,

(34:01):
I did hear his original not original, I mean the first of the
distracts from Kendrick. I did thatone. That was the one I listened
to, and then they just startedcoming in a flurry and I just haven't
caught up yet. Yeah, it'scrazy. I texted Kean and I was
like, yo, uh you know, Kendrick is cooking Drake. He was

(34:24):
like, yeah, Drake's Drake's humebackwas trash and I was like, yo,
I just dropped another one at midnight, and then the following night he
fallowing morning he texted me like, yeah, Kendrick just shooting at the hearst
at this point because he been therelike being ben there. Yeah, but

(34:47):
it's fun as long as it stayson wax right, stay and you know
as it has played out, Iwas defended when he did it, and
I just hope people have gained someappreciation for Ja Cole stepping back m hm
and saying, you know what, this ain't about me and you so you

(35:12):
know what, I ain't even mybad for even doing that bad yeah,
and staying true to who he is, because that's not Jake Cole's lane.
He's you know, you know, you know what I mean. I think
if somebody well, I mean Ithink I don't think he would duck one
if somebody was coming for him.But I think on another strength of just

(35:34):
because my brother steps on my footor bumps me, that dont mean we
got to fight in a parking lotexactly. So he wanted to keep peace.
I get that. I respect that, and I don't think he was
looking forward to having something draw outlike you know, going and for right
and and that's what I was saying, like with Drake Drake, but he

(36:02):
that's not who he is. He'snot someone who's shown that he can not
say something mm hmm. You know. And I think at this point Kendrick
has shown that, oh this hasbeen well, you might want to be
quiet, and this is well, like he's calculating. And so I think

(36:28):
when Drake make the comeback, youknow they know his comeback. He didn't
take into a cant that Kendrick alreadyhad songs like oh, I'm waiting on
you to like he baited, completelybaited. But I said, man,

(36:49):
it's fun and I'm enjoying Drake payingcheckers, right, yeah, absolutely,
And Kendrick is playing Calculus right, but you know it's uh and it's you
know, it's good that this tooms at the top of the game and

(37:10):
you know one is getting cooked partof the party comes to the territory.
I would love to have a deeperconversation if Drake is an MC. But
yeah, two rappers at the topof the game. Yes, thanks,
thanks for correcting. I agree, which is what he's being exposed, right,

(37:35):
reminded. And now it's to thepoint where you know, Daylight's one
of his ghost writers, and Daylightsdropped the track mm hmm trackted, so
his ghost ride dropping the dish trackright, yeah, and you know they're
right, and and Daylight is noslouch mm hm. So I'm gonna have

(38:01):
to check this out. We're talkingabout shooting at the Hurst. This is
somebody now throwing rocks at the Hurstlike right, drove off and rocks rocks
at the Bears, Like yeah, like what we're doing here? You shut
it up? Don't matter, y'allgonna hear me. Everybody catches straight.

(38:27):
Wow. But that's enjoyable, right, I love it? And just one
more just before we leave, totallyuh s g A Oklahoma City is high
level ball of young dude. Ifhe happens to pull it out and win
one, you know, I wouldn'tbe surprised if he now elevates to superstar

(38:51):
status. Yeah, and he's technicallyan he could pull it off. He's
from Canada, but he can pullit off. Yeah, and you know
he ain't he ain't crossed him fromacross the water, right, but yeah,
I can see him. And theygot there. They got some good
pieces on that squad. Oh yeah, no doubt. But it's just you

(39:15):
know, it's I mean, Ihate the Lakers and Lebron out of course,
not that you know, I trulybelieved that they were going there for
even though where they were in mypredictions, but I just had to be
different. But this, this thistype of NBA playoffs to me is fun
because it's so wide of it,and especially to see a matchup like Minnesota

(39:39):
and Denver this early in the playoffs, because I think Minnesota has a legit
chance of winning that series. AndI explained that. I was you know
two things. One when you haveyou don't have the benefit of decades of
watching this stuff mm hmm. Andthen two, when you're it's not your

(40:01):
team so you're not emotionally attached toit. I had this conversation with your
son last year after Denver won championship, and he was just Dad said,
they're gonna repeat. You know, they got a bomb squad. I was
like that, it's not as easyas you think. And I know y'all
have finally arrived. You've been aDenver fan for a long time and you

(40:22):
finally got one, and you think, oh, we're here, now we're
gonna stay. It is not thateasy for several reasons. We all know
those reasons. But you know, this is fun. I don't think young
people appreciate how different a year later. Yes, absolutely, yeah, and

(40:45):
just like like seeing something once andthinking that's how it's gonna be. Like,
so, I remember when the Knicksand Bulls were going at it,
and the Knicks are trying to getover that hull. And it was when
I think it might have been ninetiesninety seven, ninety eight, but the

(41:07):
Bulls. The Knicks beat the Bullsin like the first game of the series,
and I was like, oh,just that year, they're gonna highly
beat the Bulls. We see howthey beat them that first game, and
after that it was more of theprevious years because you know, it's after
you've seen something so many times, like it's just not as easy to do

(41:31):
and to keep going right, andso seeing teams that you think are on
top of the pedestal never reached thatmoment again, especially not to be able
to do it back to back, because that shit is hard. I mean,
injuries, matchups, there's so manydifferent factors that play into a team.

(41:54):
Wear and tear, wear and tearbeing a target. That's that one
that one one please understand. Peopleare going to bring the best effort every
time from the beginning of the seasonall the way through, and that has
the way you down. You're notsneaking up on nobody. But I just
think people don't understand that not onlydoes a year later mean you might have

(42:16):
got worse as a team than whenyou were last year. But usually there
are teams that got a whole lotbetter, and I think that, to
me is something that makes it sohard. Yeah, and just the natural
human side of it is not working. It's hard to stay there as you

(42:36):
did to get there. That's justpart of it. Maybe not all twelve
players on the roster, but maybefive of them don't work quite hard,
right, right, So it's thecollective and it's chemistry, like just so
many things that goes into it.But yeah, it's definitely fun to watching
at this point. You know,I'm not I'm not a different fan at

(42:59):
all, not a Yoki train itall. So this point, it's not
about Minnesota winning. It's for Denverlosing. To me, it's kind of
like watching for me, it's kindof like watching the Ravens. I don't
care. Yeah, I don't evenknow who they playing. Nobody need to
right, It wasn't the Patriots backin the day. Yeah, yeah,

(43:19):
somebody need to beat them. Theonly team, you know, I got
an interest in the Knicks. Idefinitely pulling for them. But other than
that, man, the ability tojust watch good basketball, competitive basketball going
down to the wire. Some ofthese refs need to get get they you
know, I see a lot ofbad call. We're not gonna bring that
up absolutely, but uh, definitelybeen a fun playoffs so far to watch.

(43:43):
And so I'm hoping for shout outto Jayen Brooks and killing what Yeah,
I'm just saying, right, Sothis is when you you know,
when I like to again, weall wrong about something at some point,
a lot of things, self included. But it's good to like, you
know, to know there are receiptsout there for the people clown the jail

(44:06):
and Bronson Sweet Steaks or you knowthe Rudy Gober Sweet Steaks in Minnesota.
Like, yeah, it's good tosee it on the other end and see
these guys prove people wrong. Yes, because these cats, I mean to
me, especially when dudes are doingit the right way, right and you

(44:29):
know, hard work. Yeah,it's just so much to support with Jaen
Brounson. Yes, it's good tosee things turn out good. Yeah,
no doubt. Yeah. So andnext week we uh, we're gonna talk
from some w n B A withthe U. The season start next week,

(44:50):
you know, we uh, theyhad the preseason open this week,
but I want to wait to theto the real Bullets star flying, because
uh yeah, it'll it'll be official, it will. Yeah. We'll talk
some w n b A stuff,some more NBA playoffs. We'll get you
hockey and a baseball check in.There's a lot to talk about in this

(45:10):
downtime of the n IF the NFLoffseason, right right, we got to
talk about something. Yeah, soand hopefully you know, maybe maybe Drake
wuld be resurrected by then. Wedon't know, we'll see. It'll probably
be like twelve more songs dropped beforethen, I'll tell you that at this
pace. All right, Kindram, hold this out right right right right now.

(45:34):
You understand I've been writing for thisfor months, all right, yeah,
yeah, well again, shout outThomas Man. Will uh you know,
be back next week. Anything elsebefore we go, man n Man,
been a good week. Appreciate it. Appreciate y'all absolutely no doubt ya.
