In today's episode, I share the secret to self-love and how it involves allowing your darkest emotions to show you the truth about who you really are. I talk about the importance of embracing shame, guilt, regret, and anger, and how learning to feel these vibrations in our bodies can lead to healing and self-love.

Join me as we dive into where these emotions come from and imagine what they might say to us if they had a voice. By facing these dreaded emotions, we are provided with an opportunity to heal our inner child, let go of negative thought patterns, and increase self-trust and self-love. We also explore how self-love and self-care mean feeling all of our emotions, including the negative and dark ones, because without our shadows, we can not stand in our own light.

We discuss the importance of emotional connection in relationships. We explore how vulnerability and expressing our feelings, both beautiful and challenging, can help deepen the emotional bond with our spouse. However, we also acknowledge the vulnerability hangover that can follow and discuss strategies for embracing this vulnerability.

Finally, we share three ways to support ourselves during the inevitable times when emotions are high and strong. We dive into the power of self-compassion, mindfulness, and grounding techniques, as well as healthy coping strategies such as exercise, journaling, music, and nature. We also emphasize the value of seeking professional support for emotional challenges, as working with qualified professionals in coaching or therapy can provide a loving and safe space for healing.

Tune in to this episode to learn more about the secret to self-love, emotional connection in relationships, and strategies for supporting yourself during difficult times. Don't forget to share your own self-support techniques in the comments section.
