Paramedic and Fire Captain Ryan Esparza - From Angry to Happy

Ryan Espanza worked as a military firefighter, a private ambulance 911 paramedic and is now a Fire Captain with the Suisun Fire Department. He became angry with a short fuse, ready to knuckle up all the time. He started working two jobs around the clock to keep from feeling the crap inside. Once he finally broke and began to deal with the pain that he didn't even know he had, he lives a life full of gratitude and is present for those he loves and for a job he loves. We talk about how our childhoods affect our lives and careers, how being an ALS 911 transport paramedic is on of the hardest and most thankless jobs out there.
