We emphasize the importance of pausing before committing to tasks and asking oneself if the action would still be a "yes" even without external appreciation or reciprocation.
Tonya and I also discuss strategies for understanding and interacting with loved ones through the lens of the Enneagram. We highlight the significance of the three centers of intelligence (instinctual, feeling, and thinking) and how recognizing these can improve communication and relationships within families, including with children and grandchildren.
