Speaker 3 (00:31):
Lear's on the Cardinals fans and welcome to the latest
edition of the Rise of Seward podcast, best our Cardinals
Talk on the Web. I'm your host Jessroot from Cardswire
dot com. US say today's NFL wireside covered, of course
your Arizona Cardinals episode seven hundred and sixteen. And this
is our opponent preview show for week ten. It's been
a couple of weeks since we've had an opponent guest on,
but friend of the show, Cole Muskrove from Seahawkswire dot
(00:55):
Com joined us in week four. Joined us in the
off season. He's been joining us for multiple years. Now
is the Cardinals take on kafresh off There Monday night
win over the Dallas Cowboys are now set to go
to the Pacific Northwest uh take on the Red Hot
Seattle Seahawks, who currently lead the NFC West. Cole, welcome
(01:18):
back to the show. How have things been. Obviously, things
are going well in Seattle and in the NFC West
except for Arizona, because everyone got six wins except for us.
Speaker 4 (01:29):
Well, I saw something. It was, you know, it's that
classic King Gadora meme where it's a three dragon head
or two dragon heads and one is do ify looking,
and this one it was four dragonheads. One Seahawks six
and two together was forty nine ers five and three
is bandaged rams scary six and two, and then the
Dirpy one was the Cardinals at three and five. But
they've updated, they updated it. They put some sunglasses on it,
(01:52):
so at least they're kind of fun.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
Yes, yes, oh goodness. So Seattle six and two leading
the NFC West, and we got to say this, Holy cow.
Sam Donald continues, I was very hesitant, I was very
question I questioned the move to go from Gino Smith
(02:16):
to Sam Darnald. I thought at best it was a
lateral move, and boy did that work out on both ends.
Because Gino has been kind of hot garbage this year
down in Las Vegas, maybe not necessarily his fault, and
Sam Donald has been every bit as good as he
was a year ago. Holy cow, what tell me since
week four what has been what has been great about
(02:40):
the Seahawks team.
Speaker 4 (02:41):
Well, when you said lateral move, that's exactly what I
thought too. I figured, Okay, well, you're getting younger, you're
getting cheaper at than with some courtant position. Okay, that's great,
but you know, Sam has a higher ceiling but a
lower floor. And Gino. I mean, for all as bad
as he has been this year, people forget he was
good in Seattle. He wasn't, you know, pairing the world
(03:03):
on fire, but he was a solid starting quarterback. So
I figured, Okay, Sam Darnold, you're probably at best getting
the same thing, but for cheaper that's not the case
at all. We you know, I think in the back
of everyone's mind, Sam was you know, there was an excitement, sure,
but I think everyone was kind of like, okay, was
last year really just the one hit wonder, the perfect
(03:24):
scenario in a dome justin Jefferson, Kevin O'Connell. No, Sam
just is good. He just flat out good. And by
pfst Anders he's the best quarterback in the league this season.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
That's crazy. So, I mean, offensively, so every metric about
Seattle is good. Right now, they are number five in
point points scored, end points allowed averaging just a titch
under twenty eight point nine, just under twenty nine points
a game. They're allowing under nineteen points game and the
(03:56):
yardage that they're giving up and scored. And it's comparable
because sometimes you get the sometimes you get the fraud.
Looks like the Cardinals are, you know, thirteenth in points
allowed or were fifteen points allowed and twenty fifth in
yards allowed, Like that's that that's a fraud alert there.
But they're ninth in yards and eleventh in yards allowed,
(04:18):
so just outside the top ten in terms of yards allowed.
It seems like everything is going the Seahawks way right now.
Tell us about what obviously they lost that that back
and forth to Tampa Bay in Week five A what
a game. But Tampa Bay one of my favorite teams
(04:43):
to watch, other than the Cardinals, but bet Baker Mayfield
is one of my favorite players. And but what a
showdown there at the end of the game because both teams,
Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield going through it being clutched,
beating Jackson, beating Houston and beating down Washington, and sadly,
(05:04):
said Jaden Daniels goes down with an injury. What what
is there not to like about what what Seattle is
doing right now?
Speaker 4 (05:11):
So just kind of backtrack just a little for your
last question, what's going right with Sam Donald? You heard it.
You heard it from Chris Collins, where like forty times
on the broadcast, Sam Donald is beyond confidence. He is
getting the ball out quickly, He's making extremely decisive reads
and that we saw last year. That was what fueled
the success with the Vikings. But overall, you know what,
(05:32):
what's been going on with the Seahawks. Yeah, A lot's
been going right, A lot has been going right. However,
I think the issue, any issues that have arise are
self inflicted. I think that's why you lost, or sorry
if that's why they lost against Dampa Bay Buccaneers. They
had a couple of self inflicted wounds. They're a good team,
it's possibly even a great team, but they're not good
(05:52):
enough to overcome dumb penalties or bad in opportunity fumbles
or blocked field goals. And really that's what the difference was.
I mean, yeah, Sam had the inner set at the end,
but all those little mistakes add up and against the
Texans that game should have been thirty to zero. It
ended up being twenty seven nineteen. There was no there
was no doubt the Seams are gonna lose, but it's
(06:13):
closer because they just started getting sloppy. So right now,
the only thing kind of slowing the Seahawks down is themselves,
and we saw that against the Commanders once. You know,
that game was well out of reach by halftime, so
there wasn't really much to do. But in that second half,
things kind of got a little bit choppy on the
Seattle's end, and then it no longer was just the
(06:34):
outright blowout. It just ended up being just a run
of the mill, you know, quote unquote run of the
mill blowout.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (06:42):
Defensively, well, it evens obviously the passing game is doing
very well. He's Sam darl leaveraging nearly ten yards per tempt.
He's only been sacked nine times in eight games. That
is incredible. Sixteen touchdown passes, five interceptions, and Jackson Smith
(07:05):
and Jigma leads the NFL in receiving in receiving yards
and his average and it's not only that, so it's
not volume receptions like he's got nine hundred and forty
eight receiving yards, but he's averaging over sixteen yards a catch,
which means he's he's making plays fifty eight receptions still
(07:26):
a lot, but it's they're not spamming him at the
line of scrimmage there, He's just he's just getting open.
Sam Darnold's given in the ball and he's getting yards
after the catch.
Speaker 4 (07:39):
Absolutely. I mean with what's crazy is he probably has
like what less than thirty less targets than Jamar Chase,
and he's got over one hundred yards more receiving than him.
He has become just a truly bonafide nuclear weapon for
the Seahawks. Teams can try their best to hold them down,
and you know enough, it was the Arizona Cardinals that
(08:01):
has held them to his first game four. His worst
game was still seventy nine yards, which by the way,
all seventy nine came in the second half. They held
them to zero yards in the first half and then
Boom exploded in the second half. Teams can do their
best to try and slow him down. It's not working.
It's just the system is too good. He is too good.
(08:24):
He has answered any and all questions about is he
a legitimate number one? Can you fill in with Dk Metcalf,
we'll be well, we'll have that time production without Metcalf.
That was the other biggest question other than Sam Darnald
Gino Smith was, Hey, you know Json had a breakout year.
Is it was a result of the teams focusing on
DK Metcalf? Can you really replicate it? Oh? Yeah, he
(08:47):
can rephit it, and then some which side Tangent. I'm
wondering if DK Metcalf is now learning the grass isn't
always greener because when the Seahawks hired Clint Kubiak to
be their offensive coordinator, Mike mcda specifically said one of
the reasons why Kubiak was hired was because he had
the best idea for how to use Metcalf, and apparently
(09:09):
Metcalf didn't want any part of it, didn't want any
party what the Seahawks wanted out. And now JSN is
contributed producing in a way that we've never seen from DK,
and I just kind of kind of makes you think, man,
what would it have looked like in a system where
he is clearly the number one guy in the offense
is built around him. Because I don't even think it's
(09:30):
even back Wwayne Pittsburgh and.
Speaker 3 (09:33):
Then defensively, you're getting there's twenty seven sacks on the year,
five and a half from Nuosu, who's been more or
less a journeyman produced but very productive. We talked about
Byron Murphy and his kind of unspectacular rookie year. He
(09:55):
has exceeded. I mean, he's looking great. Five sacks. Leonard
Williams is always productive. To Marcus Lawrence, Drake Thomas. They're
getting like, is there any weakness right now with this
Seattle team?
Speaker 4 (10:11):
Well, so, I said, you know, the issue, you know,
one of the biggest issues is just self inflicted. Right
They they're very well coached, they're very well disciplined, but
they're just you know, there's still a couple of mistakes
growing pain mistakes on the field issue. They really are
just not that good at running the ball, which I
know is frustrating the hell out of Mike MacDonald, it's
(10:34):
frustrating the hell out of Klin Kubak, it's frustrating the
hell of everybody who's rooting for the Seahawks. And it's
not for lack of trying, which is the concerning thing.
The Seahawks are feeding Charbonnat and they're feeding Kennth Walker.
They're running, you know, thirty plus times a game, and
it's just so hit or miss, and it's really the
best rushing games have come from just big home run plays.
(10:55):
You take those out, the artist total isn't that great. Hopefully,
you know, adding Rashi Shahi kind of will help open up,
you know, open up the run game because defenses will
have to be focused on yet another explosive playmaker on offense.
But right now, that's kind of the issue. It's it's
kind of funny. We've entered a little bit of a
bizarro world with the Seahawks where the offensive line is
(11:18):
really good at protecting the quarterback and yet they just
cannot get the push up front to open up these
run games. So I think that is the number one
concern with the Seahawks on either side of the ball.
Speaker 3 (11:30):
For me, they have Kenneth Wall obviously sharbon a average
in two point yards two point nine yards per ten,
but he's got five touchdowns and they do use they
do like using him in short yarded situations. But ken
Walker is four and a half yards of carry, so
has that been that has then been bolstered by splash
(11:50):
plays where he's explosive, but not nearly as efficient.
Speaker 4 (11:56):
Yeah, it's kind of weird. You know. It's if I
if I were tick one running back to trust on
like a traditional like ground attack, just hit the hole. Go,
it's probably sharbon Ay, But in terms of just like
raw athleticism and home run hitting ability, it's Kenneth Walker. Now.
He kind of frustrates me because he kind of does
the Russell Wilson thing where he kind of runs around
a little bit in the backfield where it's like, just go,
(12:18):
just hit the hole. And of course I'm sure every
fantasy team owner is frustrated that he's never getting any
touches at the goal line. It's always going to charbon
Ay or even tighten a J barner. So I'm not
sure how they feel. I'm sure it's not great. I
don't know. It's just there. They're trying very hard to
(12:39):
incorporate both to limited success, and it just kind of
feels like they haven't quite figured out the ratio of
when to use kind of the speedy, elusive, explosive back
versus just the hard nosed power back. I have confidence
they're going to be able to figure it out. Like
(12:59):
I'm if you have to choose between an offensive coordinator
who just abandons the run if you can't get it
right in the first couple of plays and just that's it,
versus you just keep running, keep running, keep running, regardless
of it's working. You always pick option number two because
eventually you're probably gonna get it right. Two. It helps
your identity. Three By the end of the season, when
(13:19):
defenses are worn down, it's probably gonna start becoming more
and more effective. Just so I prefer that. I'm still
confident is going to get resolved at some point, but
it's still it's still kind of just a mixed bag
right now.
Speaker 3 (13:36):
I'm not excited as a Cardinals span as a not
a fan of the rest of the NFC West to
see Seattle pick up Rashid Shaheed that is, And I
mean JSN has been unstoppable, Cooper Cup when he's healthy
is as productive as anyone, and crafty but and Tory
(13:57):
Horten has been really really good. But adding the breakaway
speed of Shaheed, holy cow, I'm really scared about this
Seattle offense moving forward.
Speaker 4 (14:11):
It's kind of an Again, this is uncharted territory for
Seahawks fans, because every historic good Seahawks team has always
been defensive focused in the ground attack, and it's always
been and I mean this is dating back to the
five team with Sean Alexander Matt Hasselbeck. This was never
the dynamic, explosive offensive team. The only time we've ever
seen anything kind of close was the twenty twenty let
(14:33):
Russ Cook year and not only lasted like half a
season before that just kind of evolved into just a
sloppy mess. It's fun. This team is fun to watch.
This offense is really fun to watch. Sam Darnold might
be one of the best just pure arm talents the
Seahawks have ever had. And with all due respect to Russ,
(14:54):
whose moonball ability has been well documented and well praised,
and there may never be anything like that again. But
just in terms of the Sam, you know, hitting fade routes,
that's something we haven't seen in years, throwing over the
middle of the field. That never happened with Russ, barely
happened with Gino. Just the confidence and just the ability
(15:15):
to just make quick decisions. He's not playing hero ball,
which is so refreshing to watch. He's just a point guard.
He is distributing the ball necessary to all the playmakers.
And look at Sunday night. You know Elijah Ryle got
his first touchdown, Tory Horton got two touchdowns, Cody White
got a touch in his first touchdown, and then JSN
was just all over the field. So he's not just
(15:36):
honing in on one guy. The Seahawks team can attack
from multiple ways. So pick your poison.
Speaker 3 (15:44):
I'm not next on the Rose of Savorite podcast, but
or Cardinals Talk of Little Webits move on to pick
talk about this particular matchup, keys to this game, matchups,
little matter that's cover to next and rise ups read
back on the Rise of Secret podcast. This are Cardinal's
Talk of the Web talking to Cole musk Groove over
the Seahawks wire. Is we do our opponent preview? Talking
about Cardinals Seahawks in Week ten? Obviously, the Cardinals have
(16:11):
been an interesting team to say the least, as they
finally got off the schneid with their five game losing streak,
but only losing those games by total of thirteen points.
Last second losses in three straight, including against Seattle in
the Week four when Kyler Murray took them scored fourteen
(16:32):
to fourth quarter points to tie the game. They only
had what twenty six seconds or something like that, twenty
eight seconds left in the game, and the defense immediately
gives up a thirty six yard pass to JSN, they
miss up on the kickoff, and then another game winning
kick ends it. How do you see this game not
(16:55):
prediction wise? How do you see this game matchup wise
differently than Week four is? Now that the Cardinals have
moved on to Jacoby Brissette in the lineup, I'll be.
Speaker 4 (17:07):
Honest, Jacoby Brissette concerns me more than Kyler Murray has
ever concerned me. I have never feared him. I know
he's an incredible athletic talent, but as a leader and
a winning quarterback, of which he is not, that's never
He's never been a thing a player that's concerned me.
Jacoby Brissette similar to Sam Darnold. He's not playing hero ball.
(17:29):
He's not trying to light the world on fire. He's
just trying to operate the He's a professional trying to
operate the offense at the highest level possible. And he's
been around this league. There isn't anything he hasn't seen,
including the Seahawks defense, which he played last year when
he was with the Patriots in Week two. Now a
lot's changed, you know. I think this defensive unit is
a lot better than it was Week two of last season.
(17:51):
But Brissette was fine. One hundred and fifty yards interception,
not anything tremendous, But he wasn't the reason they lost
that game. Right now, I think that offense is going
to operate a little bit better with him. It's going
to be a little more cohesive. Marvin Harrison is certainly
going to get more looks as the game goes on.
So I think you're dealing with kind of a more
(18:14):
professional operation with the Cardinals. So yeah, Persette concerns me more.
Can Cardinal Seahawks games are always weird, like nineteen to nine,
seventeen to seven, sixteen to six, twenty to ten, weird,
ugly slot fests, and quite frankly, at this point, I
might as well just say we haven't we haven't had
(18:34):
an eighteen to eight game, so it's probably going to
be that we've had sixteen to six we've had you know,
I think it's probably going to be a lower we've
had six six six'. Six. Uh these two teams are just.
Chaos chaos always ensues when these two teams, plays they're always,
weird bizarre. Games i'm expecting something. Similar it's going to
(18:58):
be a lower scoring it's going to be a defense
OF i. THINK i don't know if it's necessarily THE
cx come back down to, life but The cardinals need to.
Win they need to win. More seahawks are desperate. Too
they got to keep pace with The rams correct and
you know with The ram coming next, week first time
with The. RAMS i Think seahawks will Be they'll be,
(19:19):
good but they'll be a little tight because not that
they'll be looking, ahead but they got in the back
of their minds now we can't drop this. ONE i
think it's going to be a tough, game AND i
Think cardinals are going to give The seahawks a little
bit better of a.
Speaker 3 (19:32):
Fight.
Speaker 4 (19:33):
FAN i think many in the national media are, predicting.
Speaker 3 (19:36):
How do you see the pass russ impacting this? Game
because in the one thing that there is major, concern
at least for, me With brissett at, quarterback and he
has operated the offense quite. Well he's been sacked thirteen
times in three games and been hit thirty five. Times
are The seahawks going to add.
Speaker 4 (19:57):
To that this, WEEK i think so is. ONE i
think that's going to be the true difference maker in this.
Game you, KNOW i said before the season, started the
best way for The seahawks to take that leap from
good to, great both as just a defense and as
a team as a franchise overall is find a way
(20:18):
to get one position group into elite. Status find a.
Way AND i thought that the position group that had
the best chance of making that jump was the defensive,
line and so far they have just been an absolute
night quarterbacks worst. Nightmare Leonard williams is as good a
player as there is in THE. Nfl Byron murphy has
(20:38):
taken that second year. Leap you, know it's like every
it's like last. YEAR i just felt like he was
just like a fraction of a second behind every, sack
just not able to just seal the. Deal now he's
he's made up that one. Second this team is just
an absolute tear on front of the defensive. Front AND
i think that is going to be the difference maker On.
Speaker 3 (21:00):
Sunday what matchups are you in particularly in particular looking AT,
i for, one as good as this run defense, is
and That cardinals don't run the ball particularly well now
because you know they're going with a guy Named Bam
(21:22):
knight in A Mariti. Mercado, now they ran the ball
FOR i think one hundred and nineteen yards against The,
cowboys but we know The cowboys defense is no good.
Speaker 4 (21:31):
And they THINK i think you AND i think you
AND i could have one hundred yards of rushing against
The cowboys right. Now that's bold coming.
Speaker 3 (21:39):
From, Now i'm a forty eight year old out of. Shape.
Speaker 4 (21:43):
Man that's just they're not, good.
Speaker 1 (21:48):
Oh.
Speaker 3 (21:49):
Man BUT i worry about like because The cardinals aren't
a good running team right. Now to begin with two
for the The, sea we'll probably able to shut that
down at The cardinals are one. DIMENSIONAL i don't know
how that's gonna. Go but matchup, wise what's gonna be
different this? Week it will be different this week. Though
(22:10):
and here's the funny thing is that the return Of Will.
Hernandez he can point To Will hernandez and if you
look at his, grades his grades are awful right, now
like the metrics say he's, bad but his insertion into
the starting starting, lineup his return to the lineup has
(22:30):
led to the offense being. Good he entered so he
started the game In week. Five it was he made
his debut this, season and he was in the game
for four drives Against. Tennessee The cardinals scored three touchdowns
in the first four. Drives he came out because he
was on a pitch, count didn't play the rest of the.
Game The cardinals didn't score another point since. Then since,
(22:52):
then in the three games That Kyler murray, missed they
scored twenty three or. So they scored twenty, seven twenty
three and twenty seven. Games and you could say It's Jacoby,
brissett but also you look at Will hernandez in the
lineup in the first half Against. Tennessee his addition has
(23:14):
really for some. Reason, again individually his play does not
great out, well but his presence on that line has
been a difference. Maker and that's a big thing over
last year because they didn't play Against seattle and what
Did Leonard williams do absolutely eat for, Lunch Isaiah adams
And Tristan cologne and whatever guy they had playing it right,
(23:36):
GUARD i really want to see that Matchup Will hernandas
And Leonard williams this.
Speaker 4 (23:41):
Week, well, well you're telling, him you're talking to the
guy whose team spent a first round pick on a
guard out OF, ndsu and THAT ndsu rookie is playing
like a ten year, veteran so you're not not. Surprising oh,
No and as somebody WHO i went To Eastern Washing,
UNIVERSITY i saw up close and personal multiple times just
(24:02):
how damn good The bison are and what kind of
players they churn. Out But gray's abel has been an
absolute revelation for this offensive. Line so, Yeah Will hernand
is coming back in that should make an. Impact, NOW
i still think there's you, Know Will hernan is one,
guy there's still too many other, Guys DeMarcus, Lawrence Jared, Reid, Boye,
Mafe Derek. HALL i think defensive line is still going
(24:25):
to feast. Overall but in terms of what Matchup i'm
most excited, FOR i, mean it's kind of an easy,
answer but everyone wants to play with the new Toy christmas.
RIGHT i cannot wait to see how they Incorporate Rashid,
shahid especially since he Knows kubiak system That i'm sure
the learning curve to catch him up to speed is
(24:45):
going to be very very low since he played In
kubiak system last. Year When clinton was with The, Saints
So i'm excited to see what he can bring to this,
offense what he can bring to the passing. Attack LIKE
i said earlier in the Running, GAMES i think it's
going to open things up because now you, know, hey
it's no longer hey we just have to focus ON
jsn and Maybe Odie. White you, know, no it's it's
(25:10):
going to make an. Impact SO i cannot wait to
see how quickly him And darnold connect and what THE
seahowk seven.
Speaker 3 (25:16):
Store yes and, yeah the cornerback, matchup which is going
to be. Interesting of, course a little bit of doubt
as to what's happening Because Max melton and the fact
that he missed practice today doesn't bode well for his
return to the. Lineup The, cardinals Against dallas for the
(25:38):
first time Since week, two had their three best cornerbacks
on the, field together With Garrett williams return to the.
Lineup Max melton was just in, There Will johnson was in,
there and Then Max milton suffered a concussion in the
first half and missed the rest of the. Game Max
melton has not practiced this. Week Will, johnson with a
growing issue downgraded to did not practice On. Thursday so
(26:03):
WHAT i was excited to see a healthy secondary AGAINST
jsn And Cooper cup and She. Heed only now it
looks like it's going to Be Garrett, Williams Denzel burke
And Keechral clark sadly trying to slow that passing, attack
(26:25):
which does not bode.
Speaker 4 (26:26):
WELL i WISH i could BE i, mean Obviously i'm.
Biased you know That i'm A seahawks guy Or cardinals.
Guy WHILE i do think that this both division games
are always closer than people, think especially when these two
teams meet In, SEATTLE i just think, OVERALL i, mean
it's any Given, SUNDAY i just don't think The cardinals
(26:47):
have enough firepower offensively or defensively to overcome The sea
BECAUSE i think they can slow them down given the.
Familiarity but, Uh i'm thinking twenty three Seventeen Seahawks and
so let's do.
Speaker 3 (27:04):
That so coming on next Ros rise of St, Podcast
Best Her Cardinals, Talking let's talk. Prediction cole gave us the,
prediction but we'll talk more about That covenant next And
rods Of Sea. Red we're back on the right Of sere,
Podcast Best Our Cardinals talk of The way picks predictions
what we think is gonna. Happen cole already said. It
he thinks it will be a close game twenty three.
Seventeen THAT I i as much AS i love The
(27:27):
cardinals AND i everyone is in love With Jacobe prissett right,
now the offense looks so much better this and THAT
i think this is The kryptonite. GAME i think this
is The kryptonite. Game And i'll be, HONEST i don't
trust the defense that. Much the defense has been very
up and, down especially in the fourth, quarter have been
(27:48):
really bad this. Year but you predict a close game
twenty three to, SEVENTEEN i don't. KNOW i like The
cardinals proved me wrong this this this last, week but
getting that WIN i think was out of desperation and
(28:10):
A dallas team that mismanaged it was like That dallas
mismanaged that. Game they kick the two field goals instead
of going for, it and it's a four point, game
and that game BECOMES i think The cardinals defense and
ever won in that on that team starts puckering up
because of how fourth quarters have. Gone that, SAID i
(28:31):
don't know if this time around they're going to be
as good defensively for most of the. Game, now Ultimately
smith And jigba just tore them apart in the second.
Half BUT i don't see The cardinals slowing this offense very.
Well AND i think it's going to be a.
Speaker 4 (28:52):
Thirty two.
Speaker 3 (28:56):
Sixteen game that the offense is going to come down
to earth and suddenly the problems That kyler had are
going to be the same problems That jakobe. Has and,
Honestly i'm a little worried that the thirty five hits
plus Whatever seattle's got coming is going to lead us
(29:19):
to Having Keyton slovas playing quarterback at some point during the.
Game and nobody Wants keaton slows playing in THE. Nfl
Keithen slovas can be on AN nfl, roster great. Story
he's a local kid from. Here looked his freshman year AT.
Usc he looked like something. Special If Keaton slovas is
(29:40):
playing football for you in THE nfl in twenty twenty,
five that's bad news for everyone.
Speaker 4 (29:45):
Involved if your name sounds more like A Star wars,
NAME i THINK i would have to. Agree my biggest
thing is The seahawks just had The Sam don'll play
the game of his life last. Week literally literally. Perfect
The stiff's offense looked as good As i've seen it in.
(30:07):
YEARS i think with the division game at, home it's
not a full letdown. Spot BUT i Just i'm not
going to BE i, know how this team. Goes i'm
just not going to be that surprised if the offense
is a little, clunkier a little less, efficient especially against
a division. Opponent and recent history just suggests these games
(30:29):
are always, weird low scoring. Affairs but you, know maybe
the leaf has been turned because it's been you, know
this is The Sam darnold, Years, no This Geno smith.
Years But i'm thinking it's going to be twenty three to.
Seventeen it may not feel as. Close it may be
one of those kind of weird games Where seattle just
is in control the whole. TIME i just THINK i
(30:52):
can envision a scenario where it comes down to The
cardinals have the ball late And Jacoby brissett has just
eaten alive By Byron murpy Being Leonard.
Speaker 3 (31:00):
Williams, yeah because you know what he has not done
is finished. Games, Well brissette has. Not he had he
had the ball in his hands, Twice, yeah at heat
against The, indie against Green bay and didn't look good
in those final. Drives they scored no points in the
fourth quarter Against, Dallas and the spread has shifted on
(31:22):
that actually just a little bit. Ago it's now moved
up to a full seven, points and with projected total
at forty, five eighty one percent of the handle is
on the over right.
Speaker 4 (31:33):
Now OH I i'm Not i'm not. Rich i've never
gotten rich from. Gambling but this feels and AND i
adhere to the life to. Bet life too short to
bet the. Under but for this sort of game that,
feels that feels outlandishly, high for these two, teams where
it's gonna be cold and possibly. Rainy you got A
(31:56):
dome team going out in the. COLD i think it's
gonna be. LOVE i think it's be lower. SCORING i
think The cardinals are going to put a more of
a fight than folks. Think BUT i like you.
Speaker 3 (32:06):
You if you like the, under if you like the
game playing, out How cole, says if you're looking at,
odds so you've got the forty five set at minus
one ten either, way if you want to ratchet that
down to under forty three or under forty two and a,
(32:26):
half let's go. Under forty two and a half just
to give yourself an extra. Lay you can get plus
one twenty five odds on that ON betamgm let's and
if you if you are like me and believe that
this Because cole likes The cardinals to cover the plus
seven or plus six and a half depending where you get.
Speaker 4 (32:45):
It But.
Speaker 3 (32:47):
I've got The cardinals losing by double, digits and if
we go With seattle by a, touchdown oh, no that's
start at The so IF i ratchet that to minus
nine and a half, half you get plus one twenty five,
odds which you know if you if you trust The
cardinals to well he trust The seahawks more likely than.
(33:09):
Not that'll give you a little bit of. Value, now
in terms of, players let's look at. This do you
think so the odds say over one and a half
touchdown passes For Sam donald mine in one sixty. Five
how many touchdown pass you Think San donald's throwing against The.
Speaker 4 (33:30):
Cardinals i'm saying he throws, Two i'll say two. Touchdowns in, INTERCEPTION.
Speaker 3 (33:37):
I think he throws an. Interception, Okay so then if
that you get plus one ten odds For donald throwing an.
Interception so they can do that, that which which means
he's not expected to throw an interception that. Game let's
see what we've got FOR jsn seven and a half?
(33:58):
Receptions do we go over that? Total he has what
has had eight receptions in four straight games and at
least eight in six of, eight but the last four
have been exactly eight, receptions and then he's had eight
or more in six of. Eight do you like that
over seven and a half?
Speaker 4 (34:18):
RECEPTIONS i, don't AND i don't feel good about saying
that BECAUSE i want it to Be BUT i just
think With Rashid, SHAHEED i think there's going to be
at least a concerted effort to try and get him involved,
quickly spread the love a little bit and maybe focus
on the ground attack a little bit. More So i'm
going to pick the under that being, said knowing HOW i,
(34:39):
gamble it's probably going to have like.
Speaker 3 (34:41):
Fifteen if you Like, shaheed then three and a half
is the total for at plus at three and a.
Half and if you go over three and a half
plus one thirty and his yardage is thirty nine and a,
half are you saying that they're they're going to feed
him a little bit in that first, GAME.
Speaker 4 (35:00):
I, think SO i would take the over on.
Speaker 3 (35:01):
That, okay, Good what about does Does smith And jigma
hit one hundred?
Speaker 4 (35:09):
YARDS i will say he. DOES i think that it
was certainly you, know zero receiving yards in the first
half against The. CARDINALS i don't think that's going to happen.
AGAIN i, mean even if he has fifteen in the first,
half even if at you, know twenty one in the
first half last, Time he's still had one hundred yards
(35:30):
in That week four. Game So i'm thinking he's getting.
Back he's going to keep with one hundred.
Speaker 3 (35:34):
Yards, hey we've Got Kenneth walker fifty one and a
half rushing yards is the projected, total And Zach charbonne
at forty three and a. Half do you like the
over or under for either of those?
Speaker 4 (35:47):
GUYS i like the ender for. BOTH i don't think
charbon has had more than forty seven yards all, season
And walker is continuing to split carries With.
Speaker 3 (35:56):
Charboney, hey kicking. PROPS i always like to look at
the kicking. Props nothing. Fantastic let's, see twenty three points
would mean three field, goals and so you, Like, okay
there's not great odds on, those But Jason myers over
(36:21):
those not, no no great bets on, that but you
can get over one and a half field goals at
minus one thirty. Over oh but if you like, this
so if you, like twenty three points is of your,
Total if you like under two and a half extra,
points that's plus one oh five. Money There's seth AND
(36:42):
i on the regular. Show we like to point out
some of our favorite prop, bets AND i particularly look for,
easy like low total things that you can get plus money.
Speaker 4 (36:52):
On how many?
Speaker 3 (36:54):
Sacks now this is not one of the, props but
how many sacks do you think think The seahawks will
get Against jacobe Precent.
Speaker 4 (37:06):
I'm saying they're going to have at least three, sacks
at least three.
Speaker 3 (37:09):
