road Show. Gosh, it's beena while since you guys heard that.
Huh, it's been a while sinceI've heard that. We're back season nine,
(00:23):
episode one. It's been a while. The Robbie road Show Baseball Podcast
with your host Robbie Rowan. Hey, what is up, guys. I'm
chilling in the hotel here in PuertoRico. Fourth season in indios, Mike
was I want to apologize for youpodcast listeners out there for being absent.
(00:44):
There's been just a lot going onand just not a lot of time to
get going on it. WHOA,that actually made sense. I hope you
guys are doing well. It isalmost Christmas, is almost December. I'm
recording this. What is it,November twenty fifth, something like that.
(01:06):
Anyways, it doesn't really matter.I'm going to give you guys an update.
I just wanted to do a littlepre roll because I got a new
microphone and I'm testing out these inkBit headphones that were sent to me by
the company, and I'm going todo a little review on them, which
you guys can check out on myYouTube channel. I wanted to hop on
this pre roll before we actually getto the meat and potatoes of this episode,
(01:30):
and just tell you that in theshow notes that I'm actually writing up
at this moment, not at thismoment. I'm talking at this moment.
After this moment. Well, I'llinclude all the links so I think I
talk about in this particular episode, links to my Winterball breakdowns, the links
(01:51):
to Winterball streams, how you guyscan watch the game, so on and
so on. I am working onthe vlogs. By the way, they
are an absolute grind, but I'mworking on them. I told myself,
even if it takes until fricking Juneof twenty twenty four to release my first
episode, I'm still just going todo it. So all of those you
(02:13):
guys. Was that a sentence forall those of you guys reaching out saying
vlogs, vlogs, vlogs, They'recoming. It's just going to be a
wow. Man. If you're avlog editor out there, hit me up.
Would love to have you on thesquad. All right, let's get
to the episode, guys. Irecorded this in a sauna blanket. That's
how much time I don't have thesedays. Is now. I'm picking out
(02:36):
probably a day a week to goin when I do my morning's sauna if
we're home that day, to recorda little episode. It actually turned out
pretty decent. I was worried aboutthe hotel room and all the doors being
closed and being in a sweaty saunablanket by higher dose discount code. Wait
till you guys see my new dreamglove. By the way, speaking of
(02:58):
discount code, I actually got thaton my dream glove. I'll include that
link in the show notes as wellto check out the newest dream Glove custom.
All right, guys, but heywe're here. It took a while.
There's been a lot of stuff thathas happened. I'll talk about it
in the episode that you're about tolisten to, but I also have to
do a little bit more context oneverything. Yeah. Ooh, okay,
(03:24):
let's get to this episode that Irecorded on the floor of my Puerto Rican
apartment hotel thing. Yeah, enjoyguys. Wow, okay, guys,
I know you're like, what theheck's going on. I'll tell you what's
going on. I'm in Puerto Ricoplaying for India. Stay My was for
my fourth season sixth now seventh, seven total seasons in Puerto Rico winter Ball.
(03:52):
That's sick. Why am I doingthis in this on I'll tell you
why. I had originally scheduled toair my first episode of my podcast season
nine. It was July first, then it was August first, then it
was September first, then it wasOctober first, then it was November first.
I don't even know what today is. The reason I'm doing this episode
in this in the little sauna blanketis because when I'm in Puerto Rico,
(04:15):
I bring this bad boy down here, shout out to higher dose. I'll
include a little discount pay in thedescription or in the show notes. But
the reason why I'm doing in theSauna is because this is kind of the
only time that I have where likeI'm not doing anything, and there's times
where I need that and I needto disconnect. But I'm just sitting here
(04:36):
thinking the other day, like Trick, I gotta do the vlogs. I
got to do my clients, Igot to do my catch plays, my
bullpens, my game outings. Igot all these things to do, and
I just don't have time to podcast. Well I do, and it's at
this point in time. So Ispent about thirty minutes in here every single
(04:56):
morning, and everyone else is sleeping. We had a Sunday day game,
so it got to bed at adecent hour. My sleep's been terrible,
but we're working on it. We'regetting there. I pulled an eighty one
on Ore this morning, and Iwas in the green on Whoop, so
that's dope. I wanted to giveyou guys, essentially episode one of season
nine, being the intro to seasonnine, talk about a bunch of different
things that have been going on.Obviously taking a few taking a few bullet
(05:19):
points from the previous two episodes thatI kind of just scrapped. But I
wanted to talk about why I didn'tplay baseball during the summer. I did
play baseball during the summer, butwhy I didn't play for a professional team
during the summer. I want totalk about my experience in winter ball last
year and how that left a badtaste in my mouth. Wanted to talk
about futuristic plans. I get alot of questions, and I love you
(05:42):
guys for reaching out and asking, but I get a lot of questions about
my playing career, my coaching, career. What the plan is. So
I was just going to treat episodeone of season nine kind of just like
a little refresher, get you guysup to speed on what's been going on
in my melon. I'm just goingto use this podcast as Oh, dude,
if we have a fly that sucks, man, why is the fly
(06:05):
got to come to I mean, this whole room is available for flying space,
and this fly decides to come rightinto my little area or my faces.
That just sucks. It's not it. Did you hear it? I
wonder if you heard it. Anyways, I have no visual, So we're
going to proceed into talking. Yeah, I want to start. Oh and
(06:29):
then another bulleted point is what's thereason I'm throwing from three different arm slots?
Man? We better you're going becausewe got allowed to cover. Also,
I did just wake up and thisis the first morning of my entire
Puerto Rican Winter Ball experience that isjust torrential downpouring outside, and I cannot
do my typical beach workout morning routine. And it's really upsetting. And you
(06:55):
can see and maybe hear from myvoice that I'm kind of out of I
am not a slave to my routines. But I love my routines, and
if I don't get to, especiallymy morning routines. If I don't do
my morning routines, man, oh, it's like not a productive day,
not a productive morning for me.But you can check out my morning routine
(07:15):
for Puerto Rico. I'll include alink to that in the show notes as
well. Season nine, I wantto get back into some guest episodes.
I want to start bringing some guestson. I already recorded a podcast with
Fourth Frontier as our rate monitor, and I've already recorded a little little episode
with pitch Logic, and I'm goingto be doing some more podcasting with the
(07:35):
boys here at our hotel that westay at, So that's gonna be fun.
Season nine. I also want todo more deep dives into the mental
game. I want to do moredeep dives into the life of a ballplayer,
the life of an athlete, butlike outside of the clubhouse, outside
of the field, right. Iwant to talk about strategies and routines and
(07:59):
practices you can implement as an athleteto just kind of get the most out
of your body and mind throughout theseason. I want to spend some time
on that throughout season nine. Buthere we are, season nine. I
haven't done an episode in almost ayear. It's been a long time,
all right, So back to thebollded points. We'll start with why I
didn't play last summer. I don'tknow what you did last summer. That
(08:22):
is on to me. Then noweather anyways, But in order for me
to talk about I I didn't playlast summer, I actually have to start
with my winter Ball experience last year. And this goes hand in hand to
a lot of the podcasts that I'vebeen doing in years past about putting yourself
in the best possible situation and positionto have success and to accomplish your goals.
(08:46):
And for a pitcher, I've saidthis before. Train stuff over everything,
stuff, the nastiness of your stuff. I'm talking fastball velocity, I'm
talking off speed, movement profiles, spin rates, freaking all that hoopla stuff,
stuff stuff. Why so last Wonderballexperience, And this is what I'm
(09:09):
about to say, Like I wantto preface by literally saying, this is
no disrespect to anyone involved, anyorganization that is involved in this story.
I am not upset, mad, irritated, like annoyed like this is part
of the job, and it's actuallya really good insight for a lot of
the kids and people watching or listeningto this episode to get a viewpoint for
(09:33):
like the reality of professional sports.Okay, so started winter ball here last
year. I pitched until my birthday. So I pitched until December fifteenth,
and aside from my last outing,I think I had a sub two ERA.
But including my last outing in whichI gave up two or three ear
and runs and about an Indian change, I went to it like a middle
(09:56):
too, I think a two sixor whatever. So I finished my wonder
season with like a two to sixyear ARRA. The reason why I say
I finished it in the middle ofDecember is because they put me on the
inactive list. Now, the organizationis great. I love it here.
I think they love me. Theygave me the option to stay even though
I was on the inactive list forthe rest of the month of December and
(10:18):
then into the playoffs and throughout theplayoffs, and it just so happened to
be that last year we won thewhole frickin thing. So I got to
stay around. I got to shootsome content. As probably saw some of
that stuff on my Instagram. Iput up a YouTube video me Warnegopro during
our Game seven celebration. It wassick we won. But back to the
(10:39):
stuff. The stuffing so obviously likethe numbers from an the RA standpoint and
like a walks Fer standpoint a whip. I was doing really well, but
I think my velocity was like eightyeight, ninety maybe ninety one, and
I wasn't striking anyone out. Idon't have that number is in front of
(11:00):
me, but I could potentially getthose. And it's interesting because everyone's so
quick to look at like RA asa key indicator of how somebody's pishing,
and organizations don't hypically look at thatlike or even think that way. So
the biggest reason why I was onthe an active list because when push comes
to shove and you throw a guyout there, you know, middle of
(11:24):
the game, late in the game, whatever, like, you want to
have as a coach a sense ofconfidence that this guy can miss bats.
You don't want to leave it upto chance, or you don't want to
leave it up to defense sometimes especiallyback end bullpen stuff. So that's why
it's always important guys like train thatstuff because that's something that's going to be
there consistently. And that's why Ithink, you know, the you're seeing
(11:46):
it over and over again with guyswith high aras, you know, getting
opportunities after opportunities, and it's becauseof their stuff. Dude. It's just
a simplistic approach of like, allright, well, the reaction time is
going to be way less, whichis essentially allowing for more room for air
as a pitcher, right, andwe can't argue that. And as a
(12:09):
professional. In my twelfth year nowor when it happened my twelfth year,
I was completely on the same page. I had known that whole year that
I wasn't missing bats, and Ifelt as if my stuff was okay.
It was great enough to have successand miss barrels, but I wasn't missing
bats. And there's such a goodlesson to be had there because I think
(12:33):
at first glance or sitting there likeFrick, there's a lot to do,
Like I want to reach my goalsand make my dream become a reality,
Like there's a guy, there's stilla lot of work I got to put
in, absolutely, dude. That'swhy there's only x a lot of players
that have ever played in the freakingbig leagues, right, and that's what
makes it so dang precious. Butlastually, it was a really good experience
(12:54):
for me to go through that becauseit was just like something I had never
really experienced. You got to alsotake in the fact that I was coming
from a twenty twenty two season inwhich I was the pitching coach and a
starting pitcher for the Boulders, andmy numbers were terrible, like all across
the board, high era, highhigh walks. I don't know if Philip
(13:15):
Sinie walks, but and whatever, high home runs, high extra base hits,
high whip, low strikeouts. Andso I put in a good amount
of work throughout that I think, what's or four to six weeks I had
after the molder season before winterball, got my velocity up a little bit and
then went in And I just thinkit's one of those things, man,
(13:37):
Like I sit here and talk aboutall the time, how I'm so passionate
about this sport and I love thissport, and that's going to be my
foundation for propelling me to do allthe little things and put in the extra
hours and wake up early and doall the stuff that needed to be done.
Blah, blah blah blah blah. But at the same time, dude,
like, I'm a human being,you know, I got I got
(14:00):
done with that winterball season. AndI'll tell you what, I don't know
if this is selfish or not.I don't mean this what I'm about to
say in any selfish intentionent I'll tellyou what, the hardest thing in my
career probably was celebrating a championship knowingthat I didn't even get to play in
the playoffs. And that was justsuch a weird dynamic because on one hand,
I had this emotional connection to alot of the players and just this
(14:24):
sense of like so happy for theseguys, just being with these guys each
and every day, and some ofthe players like, you know, we're
out there because I got them, you know, a job out there and
talk to my GM beforehand, andit was just so cool to see that
side of it. And then onthe other side, it was like,
dang, I kind of feel weirdright now celebrating And obviously that's a lot
(14:48):
of you know, personal insecurities,But as I mentioned earlier, I am
a freaking human being, you know, And it's cool because I think those
opportunities in those moments that you getin your life are really good out to
grow. Right. It's like it'suncomfortable, and I think within uncomfort,
there's a lot of opportunity to grow. So that was a weird experience,
(15:09):
but it kind of just took meinto this season of my life that wasn't
necessarily like a vendetta against baseball perse. I still love the game,
and like I said, I didn'tplay for a team throughout the summer of
twenty twenty three, but I stillplayed every day. Like I took on
I took on some in person clientswith a lot of lessons, got my
(15:33):
family up there, did PFPS,we hit a few times, we did
live abs, and it was justfun. It was like being a kid
again, you know, kind ofreigniting that. Not that my passion had
simmered down, if you will, but it was just like, kind of,
man, this is nice, youknow, like a little disconnect.
I have to focus on some otherareas and avenues in my life that I
(15:56):
that I hold a high importance.I had to spend more time with my
family, which is always a goodreset from you know, the stresses of
everyday life as a professional athlete,So it was just really good, like
what I have loved to play duringthe summer. Absolutely, I had a
few offers that I didn't think werethe right fit and we moved on.
(16:17):
But it was the first time Ididn't play since twenty nineteen. And the
reason I didn't play in twenty nineteenwas I blew my lad out. So
it was actually the first time Ihadn't played a season while fully healthy.
It's interesting. I hope my SONAdidn't just turn off because I just remember
that I have to restart the littlething every hour, and I'm pretty sure
(16:41):
it's off. So that's a terriblestart to this. Frick. Will you
guys hold please while I go turnit back on. So I didn't play,
Is that where we're at. Ididn't play in the summer of twenty
twenty three. That kind of ledme into this, this beautiful finding of
freaking throwing from three arm slots. So if you guys haven't been falling on
my stuff, I'll tell you howthe origin started. It was kind of
(17:03):
neat. Actually. I had afew clients that reached out to me that
are potential clients. They want clientsat the time reach out to me about
like throwing submarine, throwing sidearm, all these things. And I have a
really good understanding of the overhead throw, the three quarter throw, side arm
throw a little bit, and thenI'll be honest, like with the submarine
(17:23):
throw, I was kind of justlike, Okay, I think this is
you know, I think I havea pretty good foundation of my understanding and
what you got to do from amovement perspective to generate power output. But
I was like, what the heck, dude, Like I'm in the summer.
I'm not you know, I don'thave to compete or whatever. Like
I'm going to go out to thepark for the next week or so,
(17:44):
and I'm going to throw from likedifferent angles just to get these different feelings.
And I'm a big feels guy forme. That's how I've learned a
lot of what I've learned about pitchingmechanics is just like self evaluation, self
experimentation, drowning down like the feelingsthat I get playing around with different movements,
different things patterns, and then likekind of piggybacking off that and drill
(18:08):
progressions, throw variations, and thenobviously everyone's movements feedback is a little bit
different, so you kind of justtrial and error. But so I went
up to the park with intentions ofjust kind of experimenting with different army angles
to create these feelings that create anenvironment of feelings to like better equip myself
to be able to coach and instructvarious types of throwers, right, and
(18:37):
so that turned into like, holysmokes, I love this thing. And
now I've been doing like what Iwould call arm path deviation throwing for like
ever since twenty nineteen, coming backfrom last surgery. And what armpath deviation
throwing is is essentially like athletic taskcompletion, where you're playing catch. You
(18:57):
feel the backhand, you feel theground, ball, you side shuffle,
you cross your hands, you goover the head, you throw summarine,
you throw over the top, youthrow a side arm, make a play
in the six hole, throw offyour right foot, throw off your left
foot, turn around, pick offs, you know, inside moves, whatever,
it is, just like you youchange the the way that your arm
and hand have to travel through spacein accordance with where your body is,
(19:21):
and you just complete the task. And what I have found from that has
been this this undeniable truth of Iam able to repeat any slot on a
dime, whatever you use there.I haven't knows itch right now because a
sweat gland just like stopped in themiddle of my nose and it's really annoying.
(19:41):
This is how I do mental skillstraining with. I just get these
like little itches in the sauna andI'm just like, oh, reathrough it,
mentally overcome it. Even though Ijust didn't do that, I just
itched it. But anyways, yeah, this so I've been doing arm path
deviation training, you know, takingground balls, throwing throwing home from the
outfield. I've been doing that fora long time, but I had never
(20:06):
done like intentionally deviating armslots from likea pitching mechanics. And so it started,
I want to say, middle ofJuly, and then fast forward to
September. From the beginning of September, getting a call from my winter ball
GM and asking what the plan wasinteresting coming out x y Z. And
(20:30):
it was so funny because I knewthat the season was coming up. And
that's another thing that I could talkabout, is like how fast time goes
by when there's no baseball, Holyyow. But anyways, I knew it
was coming up and Honestly, Ijust hadn't really knows itch there it is.
I hadn't put much thought into,Man, is this going to be
something I'm going to do during games? But after I talked to my Winter
(20:52):
Ball GM and there was an interestfrom both parties about playing another season,
I was like, well, Ibetter figure out. I better figure out
if this thing is sustainable, ifthis thing is like repeatable, and I
can actually have the stones to dothis in a game. So I started
doing live abs and started competing alittle bit, and holy smokes man,
(21:14):
it's kind of like. It's interestingbecause I talked earlier about like my passion
for baseball has never really wavered.I've always loved the game. I haven't
always loved like the business side ofthings. And you know that can leave
a bad taste in your mouth alot of times, and it can skew
your perception on the sport itself andthe game itself, but it doesn't really
(21:37):
take it to a different level. Now I'd say this, it like reignited
this sense of joy and longing forthe game that I haven't really had in
a while. I had that intwenty nineteen eighty. Time you step away
from something right. Anytime you spendtime away from something that you had loved
(22:00):
and then kind of just the candleburns out and then you come back to
it, it's like it's really good. It's really nice. And that's where
I was at, I'd say, coming into winter Ball, I'm starting to
get into that sweat phase two guys, where it's like you break the Is
it called breaking the seal? Idon't know, but it's you break that
initial sweat land and then it's likea waterfall, non stop. Here we
(22:22):
go, boom boom boom. Speakingof waterfalls, Higher Dose on a Blanket,
that's what I'm in. I'll putthe discount link in the description or
the show notes. If you guysgo to the Robbery roshow dot com slash
product discounts. Product discounts is oneword. I have all my discounts there,
including this higher Dose on a Blanket. I am getting a PF ke
(22:42):
E MF matt from them. Also, So where was I back to the
story? So yeah, I starteddoing live abs from three slots. The
original intention was to do like oneslot over the top right like pre og,
the other slot from three core, which if you guys are like Havid
fans and followers. You guys knowthat I've done drop down rob experiments on
(23:07):
I think four different occasions. Donethem during the season, I've done them
during the off season, done themfor live abs, and it's kind of
just something that I've gone back tohere and there. Then I wanted one
more, one more slot. Iwas like this deceptive, fun key,
uncomfortable dynamic. So here's the thing, this is a good conversation too.
(23:30):
My entire career, I would saynot even now. I wouldn't say my
entire career. I'd probably say sinceI since I was nineteen, because when
I was eighteen, when I firstgot drafted eighteen, I went and played
rookie ball like I threw well. But since nineteen and since the idea of
I have to perfect my pitching mechanicscame into my mind, hitters have always
(23:56):
told me that I'm very comfortable.I'm a very comfortable at bat, meaning
my mechanics are repeatable. There's smooth, there's no really hiccups, there's no
hitches. The timing is is kindof easy to pick up in slow with
the hitters timing. There's nothing Ido from a mechanical standpoint, that is
deceiving. That's uncomfortable. Right,Like I'm a linear guy. I don't
(24:19):
crossfire. I used to have abigger glove side. I used to have
more of a stab, I usedto have a longer path, whatever you
want to call it. But youknow, I've been a very comfortable,
comfortable at bat for quite some time. And that changed a little bit when
I went to the bullpen and Istarted throwing, you know, one hundred
miles an hour. But in termsof the mechanical aspect of it, I've
(24:42):
always been pretty comfortable. And whatI mean by comfortable is there's no there's
no movement in my delivery that thehitter isn't or hasn't like seen. Right,
Because the more reps you get withtiming for different guys, there's the
more comfortable their their eyes are andare their their brain is when they're in
(25:02):
the box, more sweat. Sothe idea was, I wanted like one
slot, even if it was justlike me dropping it down one time per
at bat. I wanted one slotthat was just so funky and so like
different and uncomfortable that I was justgoing to probably draw a lot of takes.
(25:26):
So the idea was never to reallygo submarine per se, but it
was to do something drastically different thanthe other two slots, which over the
top it's smooth. Three quarters it'ssmooth. I'd say even the three quarter
drop down rob was is even smootherthan over the top because it kind of
(25:47):
is a little flowy, more flowyor rhythmic. So yeah, the idea
stem from just like wanting something superdifferent and dev eight just to get guys
off the other other slots that Ihad envisioned me going to more often,
right, And then fast forward tonow and yesterday I just had I think
my fifth Winter Bawl experience. WhatI just had my fifth Winter Bowl outing
(26:11):
And I'll have to go back tothe videos honestly and look at like the
percentages of what slot that I'm using, But shoot, man, it's probably
thirty three percent, thirty three percent, thirty three percent across the board.
It's been actually really interesting, exciting, fun, Holy smokes, is it
fun? Guys? Remember I wastalking about like that reignition, re ignition
(26:36):
wow hot and fresh out the kitchen, mama. Now that reignition of like
the joy and fun and like thelooking forward to competing everyone that's listening to
this. It's like pitched before.I think you guys understand this, like
when you're going bad, or noteven when you're going bad, but just
like when your stuff doesn't feel electricas it has been at once point at
(26:56):
another point in your career, it'sjust like it's just something missing, and
it feels like you're consistently searching andseeking and reaching out for that one thing,
and when you do that, youmiss out on like the enjoying of
the moment. Dude, I'm inthe middle of a freaking pod. Look
at this. Go ahead and getin it. Dude, I'm potting in
(27:18):
the sauna blanket. Oh no,I don't really need you to knock.
But hey, guys, harmless justwalked in. How long does this say
I've been recording because I have noperception of time in here? Really Yeah,
only like four eyeball itches too. Thanks for getting that, dude.
(27:41):
It's raining or and I was Ijust told the show. I was like,
dude, this is the first timein my experience, say Anta hoyta,
that it's been like this in themorning. Not once have I ever
had rain in the morning to whereI couldn't go out to the beach.
I don't know what to do withmyself. That's why I'm doing a podcast
in a sauna blanket discount code.Robie lives are yea and it looks like
(28:03):
back how I'm green? Yeah yeah, I'm actually just niving a look outside
because I don't want my eyes tosee that frickin' Yeah, Hey, do
you want to pod now? Liketonight? Because Danny wanted a pod,
Brett wanted a pod, and thenI was like, well, shoot,
(28:25):
how do we pod? Holly broughtone set of roads, and then the
DJs aren't reliable because they operated adifferent wavelength. I don't either. I
don't even think I brought the podtrack. I guess what we could do
is turn up the DBS to likethe road, the receiver to like zero,
and then just put the two transmitterslike on different sides of the room
(28:47):
where different people are, right,But then you'll probably get echoes, yeah,
speaking echoes. I was like, shoot, I can't record this episode
and have all the doors closed, because you're supposed to have like a door
open to like not block the sound. But everyone was sleeping, so I
was like, uh, I don'tknow how this is going to sound,
but it's right on my lips, and I'm talking in a very stizzy podcast
(29:08):
voice because actually I just I hadn'treally said a word until I hit record,
and then I was like, hey, guys, this is my fifth
take at season nine, episode one. That's a little time lapse over there
with the what's the it's season nineintro talking about everything like giving some kids
(29:32):
some advice on striking out guys sothey don't get put on the national list.
Trawl from three slots. Oh,for those of you guys don't know,
Harmless is out here with me inPuerto Rico. It's been amazing.
He's the best. All right, let me outro this, mother fricker.
(29:52):
Yeah you will the blip, don'tget blipped? Where were we? WHOA?
So this camera that I'm using, right, I was gonna die.
Harmless just brought in the Baker cameraso that won't die, but this one
will die. So I need tooutro this, I need to end this.
I just want to give you guysa little update pe on this dynamic.
(30:14):
But what I was saying about theslots is like, I'm pretty even.
I'll go back I'm gonna Today's anoff day, so I'm going to
create a good amount of YouTube videostoday, showcase, game outings and whatnot,
do some voiceovers. I gotta doa lot of content today, boys,
Holy smokes. But anyways, withthat being said, welcome to season
nine and I hope you guys stayaround. This is going to get more
(30:38):
in depth. Don't worry, Idon't plan on doing every one of my
season nine episodes in a sauna blanket, but it's just a good way to
get this bad boy out there. So without further ado, guys, be
sure to be on the lookout onmy YouTube channel, be sure to be
on the lookout on my gram atoc tic, and we'll go from there.
(30:59):
But yeah, man, outing breakdowns back. I'm excited for you
guys to see this new rob. It's been fun. Man. Hopefully I
can get some more strikeouts. Lastnight I threw I've been walking a lot
of people though, and by alot, I mean one and out.
And that's kind of the fine linethat I'm managing right now, is the
balance between seeking strikeouts right, likeseeking missed bats, but then like not
(31:21):
hitching to contact because I feel myselflike the last night was a good example.
I think there was two particular atbats in which I got like two
to one to two, and thenthey went to three two, And it's
like that idea of trying to geta strikeout, trying to miss a bat
for me personally, has always restrictedmy my strikeout stuff. Like if I
(31:45):
just stay consistent in a mindset ofit's one to one, I'm sure that
that pitch would be much better executed. You know, there's a little bit
of hesitancy right, like I don'twant you to hit this, don't even
foul it off, don't hit this, and then it's like it's not a
competitive pitch. So that's what I'mI'm kind of balancing right now, is
(32:07):
the aggression in leverage counts. Right, I'm gonna go now, cold shower,
I'm actually gonna run in the rain. That sounds fun. Love you
guys, God bless. I'll includea link to the YouTube channel that live
streams are Winter ball games as well, and as always, reach out to
