Speaker 1 (00:00):
Attention. You're listening to the Todd Huff Show, America's Home, Poor, Conservative,
not Bitter Talk and education. Be advised. The content of
this program has been talking about it to prevents and
even cure liberalism, and listening may cause you to lean
to the right. And now coming to you from the
(00:29):
full suite Wealth Studios, here is your conservative but not
Bitter host, Todd Huff.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
My friends, how does it feel to be light years
ahead of everyone else out there? Because you listen to
this program each and every day, you are welcome. I
tell you what, It's good, good stuff. I'm kidding, but
just a little bit, my friends. I want to talk today.
I want to talk today about Trump now calling for
(00:56):
the Senate to end the filibuster, to end the filibusters,
so that this nation, this government, i should say, will reopen.
As we're now on the thirty first day of the
Schumer shut down, the Democrats shutting down the governments, prepared
(01:17):
to hurt people however they can. They do not care.
They do not care if your holiday travel plans are thwarted.
They don't care if your paychecks aren't coming in. They're
gonna take their paychecks. By the way, you see the
journalists are actually people that have been make believe journalists
for a long time are now actually maybe I've got
(01:39):
no obviously expectations here, but they're asking about these things.
I sold Caitlin Collins from CNN asking Kakeem Jefferies if
he was going to take a check his paycheck. The
answer should have been unequivocally know, by the way, you
shouldn't be paying yourselves. Shouldn't be paying yourselves if you're
not going to let other people get their paychecks. Anyway,
(02:02):
Trump's Trump is calling for this end of the filibuster.
I want to talk about that. I want to talk
a little bit about Speaker Mike Johnson was out there
kind of framing what's been going on. He's right, by
the way, you know, Stylistically, I want to be careful here.
I think that there's some good things about Speaker Johnson,
but stylistically, I don't know that he can communicate some
(02:27):
of these things to some of the audience, some of
the folks out there that need to hear it anyway.
But that's out there. He's saying the things that are
true and accurate and properly explaining what's going on. We've
got the Pentagon ordering national guards from around the country
to be prepared well, actually to form what's called a QRF,
(02:50):
a quick reaction force. They've directed every States National Guard
to do this because of well, to be prepared for
domestic disturbances, which of course could erupt tomorrow with the
ending of the snap benefits. That's in the stack of
(03:12):
stuff today as well. DHS reports eight and eight thousand
percent eight thousand percent surge in death threats against Ice.
That is, where do you think this is coming from?
By the way, just something they're going to blame on
Trump and conservatives as well. I'm sure they will, because
they're going to start from the position that these folks
(03:33):
are just to fawell that they need to be harmed
because they're enforcing the law, which is a wild, wild
thing to say in a country of law and order anyway.
Jake Tapper also predicts that gen Z is going to
be becoming more conservative than previous generations. That's actually the
subject of the Todd talk. I did that because I
don't think I'll get to that, but you never know,
(03:55):
might get to that as well. That's where we're headed today,
my friends, might, of course, as usual take little minor
detours along the route, depending upon what the where the
conversation leads us. And so that's what we're doing, and
it's good to be here with you today, my friends.
Let me ask you a question here off the top.
(04:16):
Would you rather take two soft gels a day or
spend hours in a doctor's office talking about your cholesterol. Listen,
I'm not against doctor's offices. I'm even friends with my doctor.
Don't tell him that he'll get the big head. But
I know what I would prefer to choose, and that's
why I take salty. It's an all natural, clinically proven
(04:38):
dietary supplement that lowers cholesterol. No prescriptions, no doctors visits.
It's not even a drug, my friends, It's all natural.
All you have to do is take two soft jails
a day. I take mine in the midday after lunch.
That's all it takes to take care of your health.
We need you, listen. Your family needs you, your bi
(05:00):
business needs you, your employer needs you, your community needs you,
Your family of course needs you, your church needs you.
But we need you healthy as well to push this
country in the right direction. Folks. We have a lot
of momentum, but we need healthy, strong patriots. Solty can
help you stay healthyanstrong. Go to solty dot com so

O l t e A promo code Todd. All right,
let's start here today. Let's start here today by talking
about Trump calling for the Senate to scrap at CNPC
here has said in its title, to scrap the filibuster
(05:45):
rule Republican US President Donald Trump. You know, every time
I read words like that in an article, or hear
those words uttered by someone on the left, it makes
me wonder how difficult that is to say that. They
thought back in twenty twenty they were never going to
(06:06):
have to write those words again. They thought back in
twenty twenty two, twenty three that Trump was going to
be wearing an orange jumpsuit, not to be confused with
Hillary Clinton's orange pantsuit circa twenty sixteen. But that's what
they thought. They thought. This guy is going to be
in prison. This is what We've got him right where
they won him. We got them right where we want them.
(06:28):
We've got the weaponization of the Department of Justice. We've
got Marrek Garland here, We've got the full arsenal of
radical leftists prepared to do whatever it takes to silence Trump.
They failed, They failed miserably. They lost the election bigley
in twenty twenty four, and we are now reaping the
results of that. So he the President called yesterday for
(06:54):
the removal of the Senate's filibuster rule to bypass a
democratic roadblock or in the government shut down. Now, this
was written yesterday in its thirtieth day. Of course. Now
we're on the thirty first day, on this day of Halloween.
Whatever you think about that, we're on thirty first day. Okay.
So the filibuster, it says, is the Senate rule for
(07:16):
agreement of by sixty of its one hundred members to
pass most select That's not right. That's not what the philibusters.
That's how it's used in practice. The filibuster is a
rule that says three fifths of the Senate must vote
to in debate on an issue, thereby calling it, you know,
calling it to a final vote. It's not required to
(07:40):
pass the legislation. I mean again, it isn't purpose or
I guess it is in function and in in practice,
I should say, but it's not. There's nothing there that
says that three fifths of Senators must pass a bill,
three fitts of Senators must vote to agree to in
debate on a bill so that it can then be
vote on, and a simple majority would vote for that anyway.
(08:03):
They do get it right here. They say Republicans hold
a fifty three to forty seven majority in the Senate
and a two nineteen two thirteen majority in the House
of Representatives. What they didn't quite connect there. I don't
know if leftists and liberals are reading this publication. Take
it easy. I'm just playing a little bit, but there
is some truth here. I'm not sure how many Democrats?
(08:24):
How many? How about this, well, how many Democrats are
leftists or liberals connected? That Republicans have fifty three Senate
seats and the Senate rule of the filibuster requires sixty
votes to actually get something done. So that should tell
an average person, a person of reasonable intelligence, that you
(08:45):
need Democrats to join the Republicans in the Senate. I've
said this, you know, I try to think of different
ways to say this to people, because this is this
is a fact. This is they're being lied to by
Democrat senators. They're being lied to by members of Congress
in the Democrat Party. But if you listen to them
(09:05):
talk long enough, you'll hear them say. I almost pulled
the SoundBite of Jasmine Crockett saying something to the effect
of Republicans, because of the Senate filibuster rule, need to
sit down and negotiate with Democrats, and so by saying that,
she's acknowledging that it's not simply to the Republicans to
(09:25):
end the government shutdown, it is remarkable to me, and
I'll go this far to say this. I was thinking
about this earlier today. For those who think that this
shutdown is the fault of Republicans, you're either willfully ignorant,
you're either deliberately trying to misunderstand things, or you generally
(09:48):
don't understand the process, which I'm here to help. I'm
here to explain this every way that I know. This
is the way. In fact, if you watch even there
are now many media sources out there that typically I mean,
they're leftists and Democrat talking point generation machines. They're part
(10:09):
of the pr movement of the Democrat party. That's how
these folks are typically engaging in politics at CNN and
MSNBC and so forth. But there have been more and
more journalists at some of these well networks or cable
news networks who have come out and basically said, this
(10:30):
is on the Democrats. Look, you may have valid concerns
about other things that need to be negotiated, but everything
that we have the way that we the media would say,
the way the media has always covered the government shutdown
is that they say, if you are for a continuing
resolution that is clean, which basically means status quo, spending
(10:54):
remains the same, nothing new is added, nothing is taken out.
If you've vote for that, you have voted to keep
the government open. If you vote against that, you have
voted to shut down the government. And that's how they
assign blame. This is how they've done this for as
long as this shut down drama has been a thing
(11:15):
in modern America. And they are correct. Even the people
on the left in the media are saying, Democrats, you
are lying to your constituency. It's almost like they're saying,
you better be careful here, because you are going to
create a scenario whereby you're going to alienate your voters,
whereby you are going to potentially cause a worse political
(11:40):
situation for yourselves. Now, if you want to dig deep
in the weeds, which I'm not going to do just yet,
maybe if this continues, we'll look further into this. I
don't know, but there are some people out there that
say that this is actually about insurance company, insurance companies,
the people that they have given the most money to,
(12:03):
and there may be truth in this. In fact, there's
probably a degree of truth in this. They have given
lots of money to many of these Democrats, which again
shockingly given well it's not that's that was meant to
be hyperbole in exaggeration. It's obvious that the Democrat Party,
even though they try to position themselves as the party
(12:23):
of the people, the party of the working class, these
are elitists who manipulate people, oftentimes in the so called
I don't think about people in classes, but the so
called working class voter. I don't like that, but that's
how they do it. And they take money from their
wealthy liberal and leftists corporations, billionaires and millionaires and all
(12:47):
this stuff, and they keep people feeding that, they keep
feeding the base the lie that we're here to protect you,
when in reality they're here to protect the interests of
their well of their cronies in the corporate world, their donors.
And this happens on the Republican side too. I'm not
but I'm saying in this case, if you follow the
(13:09):
money and the concern about the subsidies maybe not making
their way into a negotiated bill here once we get
the government reopened, that this is why they're trying to
stand on this hill. I don't know. I'll let you
decide if you think that's part of it or not.
I think part of it is the Democrats are desperate.
(13:31):
They're looking for something that they can do to create
discord and disharmony in this great nation, because when they're
not in power, what they seek is for them to
be unrest. They want their py I'm telling you it.
I don't take I don't want to say this, I
really don't, but I believe that they actually want to
(13:53):
see what could happen tomorrow. What's being threatened on social media,
which we talked about briefly yesterday, which is is the
potential of people who are on who are receiving snap
benefits to loot and to riot and so forth. I
think they they want this. I know that that I
think that you know this. I think that many people
(14:15):
who don't pay close attention think that that sounds crazy,
and I'm trying to speak to them in a way
that they might understand. But I think that there are
people in Congress who are actually rooting for this, not
because not because for any other reason other than it
will help them, they think politically, and I just think
that the jig is up here, I do. I think
(14:36):
that the American people are more aware of the of
these tactics and techniques than ever before. The political theater
has lost it's its effectiveness in a lot of ways,
not completely. There's still a group of mind numb robots
out there that are ready to press or pull the
(14:56):
lever for Democrats no matter what happens, or can it
even people that are going to do that for Republicans
no matter what happens, I guess. But the reality is
this is the Democrats shut down, and Donald Trump is
right when he says here, which I said in the
past couple of weeks. Trump said this yesterday on social media.
(15:17):
It is now time for the Republicans to play there
quote all caps by the way, trump card, which I like,
and go for what is called the nuclear option, get
rid of the filibuster, and get rid of it now
all caps. Now, that is something we had talked about
here in a previous episode. It's probably come up a
(15:40):
couple of times. So if you're on the website and
you want to hear more about that, I'm not going
to go into the details of that just on today's program,
because we literally just did this probably last week. If
you go through the stack, you'll see a title or
two regarding the filibuster, and we'll go into that in
more detail. But so suffice it to say, suffice it
(16:02):
to say that if the filibuster rule is Rule twenty two,
I think in the Senate, I went through the process
of how that can be done in the US Senate,
and long story short, the Senate can change its own rules.
This is not something that is written into the Constitution.
This is a Senate rule. This is something that has
(16:24):
been done historically. This is a tradition. This is to
really it's designed to encourage debate without debate getting shut
off and things forced upon thrust upon the American people.
But it's now being used as a tool to well
to cause harm for Americans. That's what the Democrats are
(16:45):
doing with this, and I think that the Republicans should
think very very seriously about getting rid of the filibuster.
You can carve out exceptions. You can say that it
cannot be used in a situation where the government is
being shut down, where a vote for a clean continuing
resolution is on the floor. You can say that the
(17:07):
filibuster can't be used for that. There are other carve
outs for what the filibuster cannot be used for. That's
what Republicans, that's what Trump is calling for. That's what
Republicans should talk about, and I think probably do because this, again,
it's going to demonstrate once they do that. If they
do that, they if they eliminate the filibuster for this
(17:27):
specific purpose, not get rid of it for everything else,
But if you get rid of it for this particular purpose,
it's going to show. It's going to demonstrate immediately to
the world. Of course, a lot of people will never
even acknowledge this because they'll move on to the next
thing to be enraged about, which is the fact that
the Republicans actually use their political power to reopen the
(17:48):
government and to stop the Democrats from holding the American
people hostage and taking away their paychecks and so forth
as they're still getting paid. By the way, if Republicans
do this, it's going to demonstrate that the filibuster was
the problem, because they're going to pass this bill, probably
be joined by a couple of Democrats. By the way, Fetterman,
(18:09):
who is a Democrat, Senator John Fetterman, who is on
the Republican side on this, he's actually one who was
calling for this. He's when he said this in an
interview a week or two ago. That's when I talked
about it on this program, and I said Republicans should
look very seriously into doing this. I may have even
said they should do it, because this is a very
(18:32):
very reasonable step to take. Democrats are being they're not
acting in good faith. This is one hundred percent designed
to cause harm and hurt on the very Americans that
they're telling at the podium on the Senate floor that
they're there to help. They're telling these people, I'm here
to help you. I'm trying to keep your government open,
(18:54):
I'm trying to keep your benefits coming in whatever else.
But the problem is the problem is that is a
complete lie. They're not for them, They're for political victories. Therefore,
trying to find an advantage. They are trying to get
into the midterms hoping they can regain control of the
House of Representatives for two reasons. Number one, to stop
(19:16):
Trump's agenda. Number two, to turn the House of Representatives
into an instrument where they can once again weaponize the
government against President Trump. And you can be prepared for
all sorts of investigations, all sorts of well impeachment proceedings.
(19:36):
Possibly any of those things, of course, are possible, and
I would say likely if Democrats win Congress, that's going
to put a wrench in the gears for Trump's final
two years in office. And so they are grasping at
straws here to find a way to get some traction
heading into the midterms. If they can cause social unrest,
(19:58):
if they can give their base some red meat, if
they can blame Trump for causing real harm and havoc
on the average American out there who is unable to
get the government paycheck, or who is you know who
is losing access to benefits, or just simply trying to
travel to visit family during Thanksgiving in the airport's be
(20:21):
an absolute debacle because of this shutdown. That's what they want.
The best thing think about this. For Democrats to get
an advantage, they need your world. They need the world
of enough people to be tossed into turmoil that they cause.
That they cause. That is a prerequisite for what democrats
(20:42):
success in the midterms is requiring. They have acknowledged it
by their behavior here, my friends, and I've got more
to say about this, but before I do, my friends,
let's be honest. When your financial world old starts getting

first segment, as I look ahead here, we're gonna stop. Actually,
I'm gonna stop talking about Trump's call for the filibush.
I laid that out pretty clearly. I do. In the
(22:12):
next segment, want to talk a little bit about Democrats
still taking paychecks during the shutdown. I might play a
little bit of the clip of Hakeem Jeffries speaking with
Caitlyn Collins of CNN about that. I also may play
a little bit of Mike speaker Mike Johnson's framing of
this shutdown, and then time permitting, in the final segment,
(22:36):
we'll talk about the Pentagon ordering National Guards to form
quick reaction forces because of this chaos, because of the
bedlam being caused or I guess created by those on
the left. My friends, I have to take a breakdough
up against the time out. You're listening here to conservative
not better Talk. I'm your host, Tod Huff Back in
(22:59):
just a minute. Welcome back, my friends. So I told
you during the break we were going to have a
well move on here headline here RedState dot com. Hypocritical
(23:20):
dims are well, so I cut the top light off.
Hakeem Jeffries shows how hypocritical dims are gets nailed over
his paycheck during the shutdown. I'll play that here, my friends,
momentarily and unmomento. There's a lot of confusion out there,
my friends, about creatom. You've probably heard the headlines and
(23:44):
most of them are based on the synthetic junk that
is not real kreatim at all. Real kreatom, my friends,
and listen, I encourage you to do your own research.
Real creatom is you know, natural, tested and handled with care.
It's not mixed with other items that make it dangerous,
(24:09):
and so it's been used for centuries, and I encourage
you to research it. In fact, Christopher's Organic Botanicals every
Thursday evening at seven pm they have a they have
a a talk about this. They have a webinar where
(24:30):
you can ask questions and learn more about it. They
partner directly with farmers in Indonesia. Every batch is lab
tested for purity and safety. They don't use chemicals or fillers.
They don't take shortcuts. Again, this is a trusted herbal
option that's been used for generations, and it's a real
(24:51):
alternative for people looking for something that does not come
with a warning label a mile long. That doesn't mean
that you don't need to research stay on top of it,
but it does mean that it is a real alternative.
And if you're getting the real stuff instead of these
chemical mixtures, that is a big deal, a big difference.
(25:15):
So you can start with their Kratim starter pack. Use
coupon code todd Huff to get ten percent off your
first order. Visit Christopher's Organic Botanicals dot com. That's Christopher's
Organic Botanicals dot com. Truth, Tradition and transparency, my friend. Okay,
let's move on here. I told you we were going
(25:36):
to play a SoundBite. So Hakeem Jeffries was on a
couple of days ago with CNN's Caitlin Collins and she
asks him, I mean, these are these are actually good questions.
I don't know where this is from the make believe
journalist crowd in most other situations, but they, at least
(25:57):
in this particular issue, have realize they're going to at
least ask legitimate questions. And I give her credit for this.
I think in many instances she's not a terrible job.
I think in many instances Caitlin Collins is pushing the
talking points and the perspective of the left. That's what
(26:17):
I think. I think here that these are fair and
good questions that need to be asked of all members,
all members, especially those who are preventing people from getting paid.
But the bottom line is, if you're in government right now,
if you're a legislator, you are responsible. Now listen, I
(26:38):
understand the fault lies with the Democrats, but Republicans could
do exactly what we talked about in the last segment
and do away with the filibuster rule at least as
it pertains to closing down the government, having a shutdown,
or refusing to vote on a clean, a truly clean
cr there's a way to do that. I think that
needs to be pursued. Trump is calling for that openly
(27:01):
now as well. And so because of that, you can
say that's where the blame. You can say at that point,
everyone deserves blame, at least in the Senate. I don't
know what the House can do. The houses already passed this.
The House was already passed this, So so it Keim Jeffries.
There's nothing he can personally do to stop this because
he's not in the Senate, but he's out there trying
(27:22):
to rally support to keep the government shut down. That's
what he's trying to do. Now you can say he's
trying to negotiate. Okay, Fine, you can say he's trying
to negotiate. But we're thirty one days into this. No
one said there wouldn't be any negotiations after the government
was reopened. They simply said, we're not going to shut
down the government to engage in these well, engage in
(27:44):
these sorts of negotiations at that time. That being said,
here's Caitlin Collins actually being a journalist here with Hakim Jeffries,
who's the minority leader in the House of Representatives. You
or us today if you will defer your paycheck during
the shutdown. Obviously a lot of federal workers ts agents
are going without paychecks. Have you made a decision on
(28:05):
that yet, sir.
Speaker 3 (28:06):
I'll be commenting on that shortly, but kind understand the
sacrifice that people are making, including Capitol police officers here,
and I'm going to stuck myself accordingly given that sacrifice.
Speaker 2 (28:16):
So that sounds like a yes, then you will to
for your paycheck.
Speaker 3 (28:19):
Well, well, I have more to say about that shortly,
but I think consistent with the values that I just articulated.
Speaker 2 (28:24):
Yeah, okay, I don't know that that sounds like a
yes or not. But you figured if he would just
if the answer is yes, you would just say yes.
But these are fair questions. Some people have put their
paychecks on hold. Some people have said, we're not going
to be paying ourselves if we're not paying the people
(28:45):
who are in our government who were not allowing to
get paid, because we will not go along with something
that we had voted for the same In many cases,
a lot of these Democrats had already voted for this
stuff in the past. Why can't they vote for it now?
They will? They want there to be hurt. That's what
they want. And that's what Mike Johnson's out there saying.
(29:07):
He took to the podium yesterday. Actually this might have
been well it was either yesterday morning or Wednesday evening,
but this is what Mike speaker, Mike Johnson had to say.
This is a longer clip. I might just play a
little bit of it, but it gets a lot of
this right. He's framing this correctly as to what the
(29:29):
problem is in Washington.
Speaker 4 (29:31):
I want to quote to you a couple of senators
over there in the Democrat sign listen to this nonsense.
Senator Mark Warner, the senior senator from Virginia, and this
is noteworthy because Virginia is the state with the largest
number of federal employees. He claims that federal workers want
him to vote against reopening the government. He literally said, quote,
I think they want us to fight this fight. What Mark,
(29:52):
what are you talking about? We have a clin cr.
This is not a partisan dispute. It's ridiculous. Senator Tim
Gain is the junior senator in front of the same
state of Virginia with the largest number of federal employees,
and he said, quote, I work very closely with them,
and the AFGE would not want us to cut a deal.
What the heck are you talking about, Senator. There's no
deal here. We're not talking about a deal. We're talking
(30:14):
about a clean CR that all of you voted for,
even as recently as this year. Here's my favorite one.
This is the best quote. When asked about the AFGE
statement from the Big Union. Senator Janine Shaheen said, quote,
I had a conversation with the president of AFGE earlier,
right after the shutdown, and that was their position. Then,
(30:36):
So let me just translate for you. Senator Shaheen spoke
with the head of the largest federal employee labor union.
The president of that union explained to her the harmful
effects of a shutdown, and then Senator Shaheen went out
and voted to close the government anyway, and continued to
do that more than a dozen additional times. Senate Democrats
(30:56):
knew the pain this would cause. They knew about the
miss paychecks, They knew the uncertainty of making rent for
so many people. They knew about the missed meals, they
knew about delayed flights. They knew that our nuclear arsenal
in our national defense will be negatively affected by this,
and they did not care. They shut the government down
anyway to appease the far left voices of their base,
(31:17):
and the Democrats have soul searching to do. Are they
going to continue to do that? Are they going to
run from the far left and do their bidding, or
are they're going to do right by millions of federal
workers in the American people who continue to show up
to work daily without pay. Are they going to do
right and reopen the government so that those people are
taken care of instead of the Marxist far left base
and their party. That is the question. And we pray
(31:39):
that Senate Democrats come to their senses before the situation
becomes too dire.
Speaker 2 (31:44):
Yeah, and we're at the doorstep of that. By the way,
he's talking about the largest federal workers union, the AFGE.
He referenced that a few times. These are the folks
who have basically been saying, we're hurting, we need the
government reopen. Democrats aren't afraid to say that. But the
Democrats are then saying it's not open because of Republicans.
(32:06):
What Mike Johnson just did here For those of you
I was talking about gen Z and today's Todd Talk
gen Z, this is for you. If Mike Johnson's up
here spitting facts, he's telling the truth, my friends, he's
framing this properly. And the radical left, the Democrat Party,
they're looking for a political winner, that's what they're looking for.
(32:27):
And the political winner, unfortunately means that Americans have to
suffer because that's what it takes for people to change
enough votes well to change their votes from voting for
Republicans to Democrats, as if they can somehow create a
scenario where there's a lot of harm in this country
inflicted upon people based upon votes by Democrats. But then
(32:51):
they somehow with their accomplices in the media, who, by
the way, at this point in time, are not on
their side. There are accomplices in the media actually asking
them tough questions. They're not colluding and cooperating with the Democrats,
they are actually asking them tough questions. So this entire
strategy is about to come unraveled, and I hope it does.
(33:13):
I hope it does. I hope they suffer massive defeats
in the mid They should. They should suffer massive defeats.
So they want to shut down the government. They want
to cause harm for average Americans as much as possible.
They want to get turmoil in the streets. They want
to get the Pentagon to maybe say, let's deploy these
QRF forces to say Trump has caused chaos and tumult
(33:36):
in our nation's capital, of course, blaming Trump for that,
when in reality, they're the ones that are feeding this
narrative and feeding this junk. That's their strategy. That's their hope,
and we can't fall for it, my friends, You're too
smart for that. I hope that, I hope that there
are enough other people out there that see through this
garbage as well. But I've got to take a break,
(33:57):
quick time out, my friends. Back in just a minute.
Welcome back, my friends. Third and final segment of today,
last segment of the week, last segment of the month.
My friends, I understand it's a tough time for many
of you, knowing that you're not going to hear this
program until Monday. But take heart, my friends. You can
listen to archives of this program anytime, anything you might
(34:20):
have missed at Todhefshow dot com. You can also sign
up to receive our free email newsletter, in which we
have some a little bit of behind the scenes stuff.
Some sometimes we get more into things that we didn't
get into here on the program. Sometimes we make announcements.
I've got one that we're going to announce here to
(34:41):
the inner Circle. That's our newsletter, my friends. If you
want to get those in advance, sign up for free
at Todhefshow dot com. So, but I know it's the last.
I got a few more things I want to get
to here, my friends, before we wrap up for the week,
Let's talk about something that's important and my friends, your money.
(35:01):
You worked hard for it, but isn't working hard for
you and what you believe in. At for eight Financial,
they specialize in biblically responsible investing. That means they screen
out companies that do not align with your faith and
your values, and they'll help create a plan that fits
your goals and purpose. The best part is that they'll
(35:22):
take the time to show you if and how or
to what degree your current investments stack up against your values.
Are they in alignment with your values? Are they standing
against your values? Are you promoting unknowingly wokeness through the
investments that you make, which is something that you're fighting
(35:43):
against here in the conservative movement. You can take an
assessment to find out. All you have to do is
go to forour eightfinancial dot com slash todd for eight
financial dot com slash todd for eight financial helping you
align your money with your mission. A couple things I
want to get to. Number one, The Pentagon has ordered
(36:04):
national Guard in each state to create quote QRF forces
trained in civil unrest. This is the article here I'm
looking at is from the AP, but you'll find this
reported in lots of places. Military leaders have ordered the
National Guard in every state to develop a quick Reaction
Force that's a QRF of troops trained to deal with
(36:25):
civil disturbances and riots that can be ready to deploy
within just hours. Notice the latest indication of longer term
Trump administration plans to more readily dispatch soldiers. This says
to the streets, well, why would they have to do that,
that's the first question. Why. Because of what we talked
(36:47):
about in the previous segment. The left is trying to
stir up as much of this as they can. They've
cut off They've shut down the government. They are about
to cut off the payment of well some people aren't
getting checks, some in the government, some government services are
(37:07):
being disrupted. Airports have experienced delays. We're heading into the
busiest travel season of the year, with Thanksgiving just what
four weeks away, three weeks away, whatever it is, and
so they are basically setting us up for this, And
of course, as I've stated clearly multiple times, they then
want to point the finger at Trump and the Republicans
(37:28):
that say, you're the ones that's in charge of government.
Look at what you did. Why couldn't you have fixed this?
Why couldn't you have prevented this? They also know by
taking away snap benefits, they know this. There are people
on social media. I talked about this yesterday who have
been who have been threatening to riot and loot out there,
saying they're going to walk into Walmart or wherever and
(37:51):
take whatever they want because they feel entitled to do so.
We've created this monster. By the way, my friends, you
can You don't have to pose every single federal program,
although maybe you do. To understand that that you can
see the risk associated with creating a mindset of entitlement
(38:12):
that someone else out there is responsible for providing for
me and my family. We all may need help from
time to time. But to but to say that you're
entitled to it, but to say that the American people
are having to foot the bill, But to say that,
regardless of your role in whatever circumstances you may find yourself,
(38:35):
which may be, you know, sometimes circumstances are beyond our
control something. Sometimes bad things happen to people. Sometimes we
make idiotic choices. It's usually a mixture, right, I mean,
that's just nobody's perfect, it's usually a mixture. I remember
when I was in Washington, d C. One of our
(38:56):
pastors he was he had been homeless for I believe
three and I remember watching him. We would go and
feed the homeless at Lafayette Park, directly across from the
White House, which was an interesting scene to just juxtapose
those two worlds. But I remember he would stand up
and give a very short sermon, and he would say,
anybody can end up out here. You know, if you
(39:18):
lose a job, if you're in an area where you
don't have many family or friends, you know, you haven't
built up a big enough nest egg. Whatever, if the
you know, maybe you've had a huge medical expense, or
you can't work, whatever the case may be. He would say,
this could happen to anybody, but nobody should be out
here for years. That's what he said. Nobody should be
out here for years. There are ways to get back
(39:40):
on your feet, and if you don't have that component
of this, you end up creating people who believe that
they're entitled. So the left knows this, the Democrat Party
knows this, and I think that they are hoping for
this unrest. I also want to mention. In the time
I have available, DHS has report an eight thousand percent
(40:03):
increase in death threats against ICE officers. This is at
newsmax dot com. It is in the stack of the
stack of stuff if you want to read it. I
don't really have time to get into it. But who
caused this? Who is causing this? Who are the ones
responsible for this? Is it not the people on the
(40:24):
lat I'm not blaming every rank and filed Democrat. I
am blaming the people in Washington, d C. The people
with the platforms, the people with the podiums the language
to talk about Trump being a Nazi. They've encouraged these
mayors and governors around the country have told people that
fighting against ICE is effectively becoming a patriot in twenty
(40:45):
twenty five. But anyway, folks, I gotta go. SDG
