Speaker 1 (00:03):
D Time camp.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Man.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
That was funny because the last funkle pop I bought
in an investment head kind of thing is the Toxic Convention.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
What do you mean by investment.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Is basically the beanie babies of the twenty first century, right,
And you know, there's literally twenty thousand unique funk pops
out there, and some of them sell more than others,
you know, But and like to me, it's like everybody
fucking loves Toxic Avenger.

Speaker 4 (00:34):
I know that, not everybody, just us and I.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
Know this ship. Someone will can buy that because there's
not enough to Rememberabla.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Memorabilia, Toxic memorabilia. There's something. I think the next one
it's going to be big is the Loki on the
Chair because it's could have come out soon. Oh really,
this isn't going to be I want to try to
buy that one.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
So those about this one?

Speaker 3 (00:55):
It is the is.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
The Orsha worsh Yeah Watchman one, and like I've never
seen it.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
They're not worth the life. They're out of the box.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
If you got everything complete, it's a lot.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
More So there's some of the Instagram girls they have
like ten thousand of these funkos and I'm like, I know,
maybe worthless.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
I won't.

Speaker 4 (01:15):
I can't get one.

Speaker 5 (01:15):
I can't.

Speaker 4 (01:16):
I can't get one of them. With one infiltrates in
my place.

Speaker 5 (01:19):
I'm gonna become an Instagram chick and it's gonna be
like fucking nine thousand.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
I have like four. I have what's the name from
Bobs Burger playing to Keyboard nice to John Wick ones.
It's cool because like they come with a little dog
that looks like our dogs.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
The dog that's the dog.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
And then I have another one, Christ but that's only
like this tiny one, right, a serial one.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
I have that one, but yeah, because the same thing.
I see him and I'm like, oh, I want that's
kind of cool. But then I'm like, I'm gonna have
fucking five hundred of them at.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
You start right now, That's how it happens.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
And then because I wanted I wanted the mister Rogers one,
but I wanted the one where he has the puppets,
the King and the Queen.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
Oh, that was rare.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
You can't find out. You can only find him the
one where he told the train. But there's the one
where he has the King Friday Friday. Yeah, and I
wanted that one. That one you can't find, and that
one was like crazy expensive, Like this.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
Is like a like a comic Con only exclusive or something.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
I don't think so. I think it's just they they
made less of that one.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
It's like that weird Al one, right, I got right
there with the Simpsons action figure. Uh, that's a that's
a green shirt variation with him in glasses. Okay, that's
that's the rarer one. But that's a No, it's not
a funko. It's just a straight up Simpsons Simpsons action figure.
That's cool, but it's weird al all, you know, and
the Simpsons where he made that grist experience. But the
one that's more regular, it's him without the glasses and

(02:35):
the more current weird out look as the accordion, but
it's you know, it doesn't have the old eighties weird out.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Where have you seen the American dad with weird ol
or he does a song that one.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
Now.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
The other day I didn't even know it was him,
and I looked it up and it was he does
they start a farm and then they start growing carrots.

Speaker 5 (02:53):
And then the.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Rabbits started attaching it, and then so Rogers is like, oh,
we need to figure out what you could do, and
we need a sabotage as far. And then he's like,
how about rabbitage.

Speaker 5 (03:03):
And then boom boom boomoo it's like rabotage. Yeah, and
then he's like, hey, that's a good idea.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
We could sell this the weird Out and then it
starts off and it's weird Out doing the beauty boys man,
and the lyrics are all about like rabbits. It's kind
of funny.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
I'm sure you wrote it just for this.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
No, he said that he didn't write it, he just
performed it.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Oh, he just did.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
But it's really it's really good.

Speaker 5 (03:22):
Yeah, it's really good.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
You got a rabbitage.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Rabbits, but the funny episode you check it off.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
You guys, remember you part lines.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
I never had never called them.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
I never called nineties nowhere.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
I had no phone rights back.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
But you heard about them?

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Maybe I saw the ads?

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Is it no ads? This is kind of like a
weird how do you?

Speaker 3 (03:44):
How do you get them? Then I annoy you.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
There's like some bad kid in your class that knows
about it, and then you call it his house.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
There's something he's like a gangster and like his uncle
is probably like to call this number.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
And it's like, there's like forty numbers in the.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
Number that you It's like, I don't know what it is.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
Forty numbers.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
It's a long, long number. I couldn't even explain it
to you. There's no zip code to just dial these numbers.
I remember a piece of paper somebody gave it to me,
and I'm like, no one's home. I start typing away
and I.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
Call you call, and it's like a bunch of like
teens and tweens and like older people and like, I
don't know, maybe like eighteen people all talking shit simultaneously NonStop.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
There's girls, there's dudes. It's just it's so strange and
it's live like people. They're interacting, huh, and you're just
trying to get a word in edgewise, you know, and
you're trying to hey, what's what was you like? You're
trying to you know, trying to talk a girl really right.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Right, But everybody got a chat room there.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
It's a big chat room and everybody's just talking at
the same time. And that's what it's called the party room.
You call that.

Speaker 5 (04:46):
I remember calling.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
I remember like a friend calling and then listening to
it and it's and It reminds me of like the
precursor to like it's like early America.

Speaker 5 (04:54):
Online exactly right, We're so exciting, but at the same
time because it's real, right obviously, but at the same time,
it's like, like, how do you there's really no sense,
there's no rhyme or reason to what's happening.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
But here's the kicker. A phone bill comes, my mom
confronts me. It's fucking one hundred and twenty dollars dollars
because how long time I was just listening because I
was so fascinated people talking shit, you know, and you're
just kind of like I was probably like in seventh
or eighth grade, and then I say, oh, my friend
moved the out of states. I wanted to come. That's

(05:25):
I like to live.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
These people were like from out of state, right or
I think it was.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
In Vegas, Vegas because some people were saying like like
you know, they're calling out their Gangsians and they were saying,
you know, you can kind of hear because people like
kind of cat it's all over the place.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
It sounds chaotic.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
It's weird.

Speaker 5 (05:41):
Man.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
I don't know if obviously don't exist anymore, like chat
rooms and stuff that's crazy.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
Like I can't like so it's like a bunch of
numbers and then you have to get them all right,
and then.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
You'll hear a ring, yeah, and you get dropped into
this conversation that's already happening. People drop out, people come in.
It's yeah, it's like a chat. If you don't talk,
no one knows you're there, right, Yeah, there's got to
be like some internet article, you know, like a retro
article about stuff like this, because it's a very weird thing.
But yeah, I remember a lot of kids in junior
high and in early high school they would talk about that.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
I'm sure.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
We started that right where you can all log in
at the same time.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Probably the guys that started the like the wolf of.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Because it's dude, it's obviously man. It was one hundred
something dollars. Man, my mom, damn.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
So like who who who makes the money? Then the
ones who set up the network.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
Whoever that line belongs to. That's why it's such a
weird number to call.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
So did she make it pay for it?

Speaker 1 (06:39):
No? I was. I was pretty real. It was like
one of the party line guys, and I was also real,
and I got up on that. Oh yeah, I was scared.
There was a lot of you know that for nineteen
ninety one bucks, like five hundred bucks. Jesus, yeah, insult.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
It's done.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
