Questo metodo di cottura è adatto praticamente a tutto: primi piatti di pasta e di riso, carni bianche e rosse, pesce, verdure, pizze, torte salate, uova, pane e dolci.
Per la buona riuscita delle pietanze, soprattutto per carne, pesce e verdure, ci sono dei piccoli accorgimenti da seguire, se non si vuole rischiare il classico arrosto bruciato, o peggio trovare a fine cottura le verdure o il pesce rinsecchiti.
La cottura in forno ci permette inoltre di creare diversi piatti, sarà per questo che si dimostra una delle cotture preferite.
