talking chess and Patriots, and my god, it's already started.
I am Brian Powers sitting in for Lawrence President. This
is the best betting show ever, and of course because
of the best betting show ever, we'll be talking college basketball,
NBA and which way the money is going this weekend.
I am, of course joined by not my number one fan,

Where the people are betting college football, tell us what
sides they're like for Saturday.

Absolutely, three more games to run down. Oklahoma at Bama
obviously a very big game. Sharps took Oklahoma at plus seven.
We're now sitting Bama minus six. Have not budged back,
have not seen any Bama money. Total has not moved
at all. We've been forty six from our opener Michigan
at Northwestern. That is a game being played at Wrigley Field.

Sharp's layed ten. They played, they played eleven as well.
It's now twelve and a half. We always talk about
that dead number twelve, twelve and a half, those are
dead numbers, probably gets pushed up even higher, probably gonna
see at thirteen at some point there. Northwestern is going
to be a big need for us. And then a
very odd game Louisiana Tech goes to Washington State. Their

quarterback is out, and we've been on the high end
all week of Washington State minus eight and a half
total with the quarterback ins probably around forty eight. We're
now forty three on the game. We have yet to
have anyone want to take Louisiana Tech with their backup
plus eight and a half. Like I said, even us
being on the high end. So that's one to just
kind of keep your eye on.

The strange game, art, is it not? I mean, that's
a little interesting there with Washington State. I guess there's
a couple We're getting to that part of the season
here where there's enough data in where we're starting to
see maybe somebody is really oddballt teams are off the radar,
team start to get a little bit of a pro

Yeah, definitely, I mean I think you know, early on
in the season, obviously you know the pros and all
the sharps. They stick to their numbers as long as possible,
and then there's obviously a readjustment period, so you start
to see that with some of these teams.

That Louisiana Tech team was quite fortunate early in the season.
For what it's worth, job that was. That was a
fortunate team. We bet against them oh weeks ago. Yeah, yeah,
it's it's Ohio.

How about the NFL keep it down because I still
have Lawrence pressmen up there because I don't feel like

Yeah, three games to talk about Chargers at Jags. You know,
we were two and a half minus, you know, one
sixteen trending to three. When we got to three, they
actually took the Jags with the three. So we're back
to the two and a half open forty four and
a half that's been beat down to forty three and
a half. We touched on this yesterday the game in Madrid, Washington,
Miami two and a half minus one sixteen as well.

We went to three on the game, then it went back,
so that game has kind of bounced back and forth.
Totals gone up from forty six and a half to
forty seven and a half. And then Texans at Titans.
We were seven all week on that game. Saw some
Titan money at seven, now six and a half to
the Texans. We know we're gonna take no matter who

the quarterback is Houston, We're gonna take a lot of
Textan money on teasers and money line parlays. So despite
all the Titans money at seven, we'll probably still need
the Titans.

of these stinkers of a game on a Thursday where
you're not really seeing a ton of action. We've just
kind of been moving with the market on this number.

Here's a random question. Do we have any idea who
the hell's playing quarterbacks for the chance tonight? I know
Aaron Glady's all, so it's a secretive there because you know,
I don't want to give too much away. I guess

That was a bizarre press conference that I think a
lot of people were scratching their heads, you know, as
disgusting as it may be, though, I'm kind of with
Art that this is probably dogg or pass.

I mean, what is the peak of the market on
this New England team.

One of the stories of the NFL this year, guys
that all these teams with good records that we maybe
didn't expect that good records have really taken advantage of
favorable schedules. New England certainly has. This is their first
time as a double digit favorite in four years, So
guys bet carefully there. I know the Jets aren't good,
but you know, they've won back to back games and
at some point New England has to kind of have

a letdown spot.

Do you see in art any any props or or
I don't even know who to consider in the touchdown
market for the Jet I mean Breeze Hall, but I
mean the whole world is going to be on Breeze Hall,
right Any special teams props we should take with the
Jets because that seems to be the only way that
can get points here hard. I mean, honestly, it's a
very strange game from the jet side, is it not?

It is, And it's a strange prop market where we've
been very careful on jet props, like we don't have
any quarterback props up right now, because you know, we
also have to keep in mind of our house rules
and things like that. Eventually we will get some up,
but we just don't want to put things up and
have to do refunds and all the type of nonsense
you have to go through. But when you look at

New England side of it, there's been some love for
the running back Henderson. It looks like he's basically the
only guy going. Both his backups are done. There's like
a four string guy behind him. So he has a
really high number seventy five and a half. I mean,
I know he broke out last week, but I mean
this is a guy who was barely playing, so that
number is really really high up there. And he's basically
minus two dollars just scoring any time touchdown. So I mean,

for you. We're gonna start in a weird spot in
the sun Belt, Coastal Carolina and Georgia Southern. This Coastal
Carolina voodoo needs to end, guys, and I think it
does this Saturday in States bro shoutout to the Allman
Brothers band. I'm going Georgia Southern minus two and a
half six pm Eastern on ESPN plus. Georgia Southern was

a nice winner for me last Thursday plus five and
a half against another fraud Sun Belt team, app State.

and they showed it again last week by easily defeating
previously undefeated BYU. The fact the Red Raiders Joe went

off close to a two touchdown favor in that game
tells you all about the kind of respect odds makers
have for them. Safe to say text, the clearly the
best team in the Big twelve, and I think they're
well on their way to a college football playoff appearance.
But this game against UCF three thirty Eastern on Fox,
it feels like a classic letdown spot to me. Now,
Tavian Jackson, the UCF quarterback, he's hurt, He's dealing with

had a few years ago. It doesn't happen. But they
are taking on Penn States and Michigan State and Penn

Penn State terrible spot here of the season. I mean
credit to them for fighting almost pulling off the upset,
but yeah, came up just a little bit shorts. And now,
of course they got to take on a Michigan State
team that has actually played better as up late here

and I think them getting seven I think now seven
and a half is probably a little bit too much.
I don't expect Penn State to show off a showout
in any way, shape or for Michigan State is home,
so that is the way I am going to look
at that one, and I'm gonna throw another game out there.
Art just talked about it as well, and this one

is gonna be Michigan at Northwestern. Take a look at
the total in this one. Because it is being played
at Wrigley Fields. There are absolutely gonna be more Michigan
fans there the Northwestern fans in that area. I know
there's a huge Michigan alumni base uh in Chicago there.
And also the weather doesn't looking it's going to be

cooperating all that much. Given the fact that Michigan is
the one who can run the ball and Northwestern can't.
This is probably going to be a much lower scoring
game than people think. I think the under is the
way to look with Michigan and Northwestern Michigan getting a
ton of money here. But I just don't see how
the passing in that wind and that weather is going

to work. I think it's a rock fight there BP.

here's here's what a lot of people care about. Damn
you for doing Alabama the headliner tonight in college basketball
number two versus number eight, seven pm Eastern on ESPN two.
Purdue drops from number one to number two in the
rankings because they beat Oakland by only ten points last
time out. That's an Oakland team that the new number

one team Houston just beat last night by thirty three.
So now that win looks a little worse than it
even did at the time. Truth be told, I think
Purdue and Bama coming to this game both slightly overrated.
I'm a little concerned with the Purdue defense though. They
allowed one point one points per possession and a fifty
two percent shooting on two point attempt to get to Oakland.

Getting ready to face a team like Alabama. Joe, you
know that Alabama last time out they put up one

spot for the Crimson tight after beating Saint John's, though

at Northwestern. That is a game being played at Wrigley Field.

It's now twelve and a half. We always talk about
that dead number twelve, twelve and a half, those are
dead numbers, probably gets pushed up even higher, probably gonna
see at thirteen at some point there. Northwestern is going

very odd game Louisiana Tech goes to Washington State. Their

quarterback is out, and we've been on the high end
all week of Washington State minus eight and a half
total with the quarterback ins probably around forty eight. We're
now forty three on the game. We have yet to
have anyone want to take Louisiana Tech with their backup
plus eight and a half. Like I said, even us
being on the high end. So that's one to just
kind of keep your eye on.

a little interesting there with Washington State. I guess there's
a couple We're getting to that part of the season
here where there's enough data in where we're starting to

I don't expect Penn State to show off a showout
in any way, shape or for Michigan State is home,

is gonna be Michigan at Northwestern. Take a look at
the total in this one. Because it is being played
at Wrigley Fields. There are absolutely gonna be more Michigan
fans there the Northwestern fans in that area. I know

cooperating all that much. Given the fact that Michigan is
the one who can run the ball and Northwestern can't.
This is probably going to be a much lower scoring

So now that win looks a little worse than it
even did at the time. Truth be told, I think
Purdue and Bama coming to this game both slightly overrated.
I'm a little concerned with the Purdue defense though. They
allowed one point one points per possession and a fifty
two percent shooting on two point attempt to get to Oakland.

know that Alabama last time out they put up one

take the under there, Green Bay and Saint Thomas. I'm

win last night, but they didn't play anybody the game
the night off. Donovan, Mitchell and Mobley and company. Chances aren't.

They'll be back on the court here tonight taking on
the Raptors, who are also playing some pretty darn good
basketball right now. They didn't have a game last night,
but this is now I think the third game in
four nights for the Cavs, hence why they sat a
lot of guys down yesterday. But the reality is, listen,
Raptors have been pretty good here. Brandon Ingram a hell

of an addition for the Toronto Raptors. I'm expecting a
lot of points in this game. I do think seven
and a half might be a little extreme in this one,
but it should be one of the more entertaining games here.
And then you head out west. Here we got a
couple of other games, including the Phoenix Suns at home
taking on the Indiana Pacers, who just can't seem to

get healthy. But Phoenix my good winners up what six
of their last seven they have not met a three
point shot they didn't like to take nor make for
that matter, they made fourteen of them last night from
three point range in that or rather against Dallas on Wednesday,
and then of course they handled their business rather easily

last night as well. So we've got a couple of
teams here going in complete opposite directions. That's the Pacers,
who can't trust them to score enough. I think to
get this thing up and over. But you can count
on the Phoenix Suns. We're only laying four and a half,
and yes, the second of a back to back, but

I had last night, Atlanta Hawks taking on the Utah
Jazz second of a back to back for Atlanta, I
don't care. I still like them here tonight. I think
they're on the roll. So the Hawks for me in
that one.
