Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Watchdog on Wall Street podcast explaining the news coming
out of the complex worlds of finance, economics, and politics
and the impact it we'll have on everyday Americans. Author,

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Donald Trump delivers on an Israeli Hamas ceasefire deal from
Donald Trump. We have a deal for the hostages in
the Middle East. They will be released shortly. Thank you,
was the tweet that was put out. Again, this is reminiscent,

(00:41):
quite frankly of what took place when Ronald Reagan was
coming into office and the Iranians after it was born
in actually released American hostages from the embassy takeover in Iran.
I remember it was facilitated through Algeria. If I'm not mistaken,

(01:06):
this is this is Trump's doing, make no bones about it.
The information we have right now, it's the deal is
not completely done. There's more negotiations that need to take place.
But again the there's going to be a trade for
the Israeli hostages and various different Hamas prisoners that are

(01:31):
being held by Israel. The negotiators were including Steve Whitkoff,
which is Trump's designated Middle East Envoy, along with officials
from the US, Israel, and Arab countries, and again the
official announcement. Well, you know, we'll get to that in

(01:51):
a bit, but I'm sorry, you have to give credit
where credit is due here. Now that the first stage
the deal would pause the fighting in Gaza, allow for
the release of some Palestine prisoners held in Israel in
exchange for the release of thirty three hostages being held
in Gaza, women, children, people with severe injuries, and those

(02:13):
above the age of fifty. Hamas is also going to
hand over the dead bodies. The test is going to
be over the first sixteen days, when the parties are
going to be in debating whether to extend the pause
into a permanent end to the fighting over the second
and third stages of the deal. These stages would include
the release of all the hostages and eventually a plan

(02:34):
to rebuild Gaza again. The got to hand it. I mean,
look at a million different people. People are going to
loathe to give credit to Donald Trump for getting something
done here. God willing, we should all be saying our
prayers that at some point in time, you know, this

(02:57):
thing will eventually work out again. Credit to Donald Trump
for getting something done that has been How many months
are we in with this? Fifteen months? Watchdog on Wallstreet

Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
