And you might think that after wearing all those hats
and wearing them so effectively, producers would be banging down
her doors, but she says that actually isn't the case,
and she attributes it in part to Hollywood's perception of

female creators not being as responsible for a show success
as their male counterparts. But she says she's always managed
to find her footing because of a hustler's mentality. She
tells Variety, the job is to continue to do the work,
to have the talent and back up the talent, and
do we have to do to stay inspired and stay
connected to the people that you care about, and to
keep your head down and just focus on doing the work.

the opportunities for free, because it's not exactly like that.
