We are often tempted to love the things of the world and listen to the lies of the antichrists. In today's passage, John warns his readers against the dangers of these spiritual threats and urges them to remain in Christ because they have all that they need: the truth and the Spirit.

There is a line of tantalising joy in today's bible reading as Jesus promises his followers that he won't drink wine again until he drinks it with them (us!) in heaven! But there's a super confronting line as well for the person who betrays Jesus. Join us at Village Church.

How can Christians be united when we are each so different. Dominic Steele takes us to the Apostle Paul’s teachings to the church in Rome - which was at risk of splitting between two massive factions. Romans 14.

There are three challenges today to live totally counter cultural lives. We are in Romans 13:8-14 and the Apostle Paul challenges in relationship to love, living wakeful lives and walking in obedience to Jesus.

What does it mean for us to relate well as Christians to our government? Where should we extend honour? What place to object? How should we think about tax? What if we don't like the government or the way it is administering society?

What does it mean for us to love sincerely. It's not just do what feels right. But God gives us real content to love. We explore that together with our lead pastor Dominic Steele.
