What up, Cut Up! Welcome to the first episode of A Poor Excuse for a Podcast. In Episode 1 we take an in-depth look at the story "Innocence is Bliss" in which the author and podcast host Nathan McDougal, recounts the time he casually stumbled across a dead body at the tender age of 8 years old.
In episode 2 of A Poor Excuse for a Podcast, Host Nathan McDougal brings in two very special guests, his father, and uncle. Along with his younger brother and returning co-host Boochee, the guys discuss everything from growing up in the ’70s, the power and influence of male role models and the challenges and rewards of fatherhood.
In episode 3, Nate and the crew sit down and discuss bullying, bullies and the bullied. In "Like a Punch to the Face" Nate recounts his own experience with a childhood bully and everything it took to overcome it. Joined by Trace and Natasha the Poor Excuse crew explores the idea behind why some kids bully and why some kids allow themselves to be bullied.
