Give Me Back My Action&Horror Movies

While there are new movies that are fun and enjoyable, they just don‘t have the same impact as the Action and Horror Movies we remember as kids/teenagers. So we figured we were not alone in our nostalgia and created a podcast to entertain people who feel the same as us. We will talk about what made certain movies so memorable. We will talk about a movie so cheesy but still makes us smile. We will share a memory of watching a movie for the first time.

Mickey's March Madness kicks off with a doozy! MORTAL KOMBAT!!!... Annihilation. I know, you may be asking yourself “Why do the sequel?”, well, because it's MADNESS, THAT'S WHY! Friends, we've hit a nostalgia ceiling that I'm not sure we can ever eclipse. Equal? Probably, but never exceed. I honestly don't remember a time in my life when Batman wasn't around. The earliest memories of my grandfather are playing Batman with him on a rusty swing set. Mickey and Charlie share similar stories as we cover Batman 1989. Well...I say cover...we talk more about Batman memories than we do the film. Please join the th...

From the acting to the set pieces and the absurdly silly red coloring of blood, it's no surprise that if you throw some boobs into t...

The horror side of the podcast kicks off with a film that put Jamie Lee Curtis on the map. She owes her entire career to this one single epic movie that is beloved by all. Halloween? pfft boring. Trading Places? SNORE. No way. I'm talking about the Oscar winning treasure from 1999: Virus. Wait, what? You've never heard of this movie? Mickey from the B-Action podcast joins us for Charlie's first action pick of his birthday month and arguably the best Die Hard rip-off of all time, Sudden Death. If you think physics is stupid and logic is overrated, then this is your kind of film. While the film is insulting to anyone who's graduated from middle school, it is unquestionably entertaining and worth a...
