Gavin has a chat with Quint, but it doesn't turn out as Dee and Val hoped. Now, with Dee having a curfew, Val decides that he'll be the one to go to the lighthouse when the time comes.

Time is running out. Val wants to try the lighthouse, Dee wants to search the shack by the boathouse. They compromise, but in the meantime, Val works out, trying to strengthen himself in an effort to make himself useful.

It's been three days since Val and Dee reunited, but things haven't been easy. While Val is getting somewhat better, they still don't have a way off the island. And with Gavin demanding Dee express her love in the physical form, time is running out.

Val and Dee are back together, but that doesn't mean everything is great. Val is still injured and realizes he can't stay in the new cave any longer. Delilah finds a way to get him on the old rusted ship. She then goes back to get him food and blankets to keep him comfortable for the night.

Delilah finds blue paint on a windowsill and hopes to search the island at night, especially when Gavin conks out after a big dinner. Meanwhile, Val is struggling to survive as he hides out in the blue paint cave. And when the strange man appears, he knows that his hiding spot is no longer ideal.

Delilah plans on staying up at night to follow Gavin into the woods. After his outburst about a broken chicken coop in the barn, Noah proves to Dee that there is someone else on the island. And this person knows Gavin.

Delilah decides to get some answers about not only the house, but about Gavin and Noah as well. Meanwhile, Val, still stuck in the cave, searches the corpses to do his own research. But he can't keep waiting around. He's getting weaker with each passing hour. He must find a way to escape.

Once again, Gavin disappears into the woods at night. But this time a storm has moved in. While he's gone, Noah visits Delilah in her room. It doesn't take long before Delilah is uncovering the mystery of the taped up photos in the living room. Meanwhile, Val finds something he can use as a splint at the bottom of the pool. But then he rests and thinks back on his talks with a friendly pastor.

Delilah becomes more and more confused with each passing day as she tries to cope with Gavin and wait for the boat. But now she's sure the boat isn't coming. Meanwhile, Val frees the bodies at the bottom of the pool, and fights to stay alive.

Val thinks back to his rock climbing days which gives him the motivation to try for an escape. But he's already weak, tired, and cold. Can he climb over twenty feet to escape the confines of the cave? Meanwhile, Delilah continues searching the beach. At night she comes back to the house to find Gavin leaving and heading into the woods. Where could he be possibly going so late at night?

Gavin wakes Delilah to tell her of the terrible news: Val drunkenly fell off a rocky cliff to his doom. Caught off guard and completely distraught she goes searching for Val. But it doesn't take long before she truly questions what Gavin is telling her. Meanwhile, Val finds himself falling through a cave into an icy pool, tied to a rock. Can he get out in time before he drowns??

Val and Dee are ready to go home, but Gavin refuses to give them a straight answer about the ship's arrival. As they prepare to spend another night in the stone house, Val and Dee reconcile and end up sharing a bed. When Val awakens he finds Gavin waiting for him at the dining table. Gavin invites Val to a friendly drink which puts Val on edge.
