Through interviews with friends, simple and practical scripture application to your life and some good old fashion tough love at times, you will be more equipped to have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ after hanging out here with us. I’m a woman just like you, who loves the Lord with all my heart and is doing my best to follow his will for my life. Meeting you here weekly and passing on the knowledge he has given me is part of what that looks like. I’m so honored that you’re here and I can’t wait to help you get to know God in new and exciting ways!

When we talk about walking by faith and not by sight most of the time we are being figurative in our meaning. Not this week!! I had the blessed opportunity to talk with Chad Roberts and his lovely wife Sadie about their testimony of when Chad lost his sight in his mid-20's. Imagine going from being able to see, to absolutely nothing. What would that do to your faith? What would that do to your relationship with Chri...

As Christ followers who want to be more serious in our relationship with Jesus we hear a lot about being a disciple of Jesus. We hear so much in church about "making disciples" and "being disciples" but what does it actually mean? How do we do this practically in our every day life?

To help us understand this better I invited Roger Ross on this week to walk us through some simple yet super effective w...

Let's talk about when God feels silent. In today's world we would say God has "ghosted" us aka... gone silent. It can totally feel like that at times. Things get hard, situations feel impossible and now all of a sudden God feels like he's stopped speaking completely. What's up with that? How do we handle that?

My new friend Autumn wrote a book about it and I am so excited to tell you about i...

What is it about the hard questions in life that make us sink back and avoid them? Is it the awkwardness? The unknown? The not fully understanding the topic? It could be any number of these things or others but what we are asking this week on the podcast is, why not talk about it?

That's why the wonderful and talented Kendall Mariah wrote this book on this very topic. She isn't afraid to go to those hard topics...

The idea that we have the potential to burn down our own house and not even know it seems absurd... until it isn't. I'm not talking about our physical house, I'm talking about marriage. Things like contempt, bitterness and unforgiveness creep in and we don't know it until it seems like it too late.

Happy first episode of season 8!

Whether we grew up in the church or accepted Christ at a later age, we need to remember just how wildly in love with us our amazing God is. That he is actively pursing us in our current season of life. That's exactly what my new friend Whitney's book is all about. She shares part of her story during the episode and it's a beautiful reminder of how God never stops chasing aft...

Have you ever felt like you may have been a little too reckless or gone a little too far for God to forgive you? Today we are here to tell you that that's just not true! There is nothing you can do to make God stop loving you. He will continue to pursue you even in your sin.

My guest today is a new friend whom I go to church with! He actually reached out to share his testimony on our church's podcast and after ...

Part of the reason we need to be in scripture so much is because sooner or later we are going to be faced with questions. Questions about why you believe what you believe, evidence for what you believe, etc. That sounds terrifying to most of us, right? We'd rather hide under a rock than have to defend what we believe. Why is that? If I had to take a guess, it's because we ourselves aren't even sure of the ...

Anxious thoughts can be a constant in our lives and sometimes they seem like they will never quiet down. What do we do when they seem to swirl around our mind constantly? If we believe in Jesus Christ as our savior there is actually a lot we can do about it! First, we remind them of the truths we know from scripture. Second step can look different for all of us but it can include physical activity, breathing exercises an...

The topic of spiritual warfare is not one you will hear preached on or talked about often. Why, because it makes people uncomfortable. We tend to avoid things that we don't fully understand and when it comes to talking about things we can't see with our eyes it adds another layer of uncertainty. This is the reason I wanted to have a conversation about it on the podcast.

We are approaching the darkest holiday of...

We've all heard things like, " You can do anything!", "She believed she could so she did!", "I am enough!"... the list goes on right? None of these are true!! Some of these sound totally valid though don't they?

Isn't it funny how a simple little statement like that which is completely unbiblical can tickle our ears and make us feel secure and blessed? There are a slew of state...

Sometimes we struggle with finding the courage to be who God has called us to be. Maybe we aren't even sure who that person is? Discovering who God says you are as a child of His changes everything! It helps solidify your identity in Christ, it makes walking in your calling and purpose clearer because of your relationship with the Lord. We talk all about it in today's episode with Cally!

Rest. It feels like a luxury most days doesn't it? Something that is fleeting and nonexistent in some of our lives. But what if rest wasn't just something we did, but a way in which we lived? I'm not talking about a laziness or disinterest in doing the things God has called us to. I'm referring to the way we see things and experience them through the lens of the presence of God.

That is exactly why I i...
