Speaker 1 (00:00):
Real fun with Mario little Best. It's everyone Mario Lopez,
jo any now on zoom from Fast ten, my man,
Scott Eastwood, welcome back to the show, buddy.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
How are you hold on? Brother? So?

Speaker 1 (00:12):
I was following you on social and Rome looked awesome.
The coliseum and I mean, wow, the only one premiere
that was a way to do it right there?

Speaker 2 (00:22):
How was it? So?

Speaker 3 (00:24):
It was the first ever premiere at the Coliseum. I mean,
and what people don't, I think really understand is it
is an active archaeological site. So to get to do that,
to get permission from the Italian government was like a
huge deal and hist quite special.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
I bet, I bet that's awesome that you got to
go and do that. We're talking of course about Fast
and Furious ten, the universe itself. I can't believe that
there's now talk that ten, which was supposed to be
the final installment, might be a trilogy. I don't know
how you have a final installment with a trilogy. And
I was trying to think of a franchise that had

(01:03):
more installments than the fact. I don't think there is
another one that exists. Do you know of one?

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Scott, No, I think you know, if you kind of
sort of evaluate Star Wars, it might be the only
like sort of contender.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
But I don't think with the same cast. I mean
that's true. Yes, Suttle right over over like over twenty
five years, dude, that's wild wild. It's just completely crazy
and insane and really cool.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
It is cool. And in part eight your character was
was a bit of a rookie from what I remember.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
What's his situation now? He's grown up.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
He's all grown up now, and he's he's willing to
break the law to get things done.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Oh you know what, sometimes you got to crack a
few eggs to make an olive. Right, he drove a
SuPAR U last time.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
What's your car now? Tell me? Tell me you stepped
it up.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
I don't want to give away the car I'm driving
now because I want audiences to come and be surprised.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
But it's pretty cool, Okay, fair enough, fair enough.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
We're gonna find out whatever happened to Kurt Russell's character
That wasn't really addressed in part nine.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Right, it wasn't.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
But you know, there's it seems like there's room for
him to come back in maybe without giving away too much.
Maybe part two of this sort of ending saga.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Yeah, well, the cast just keeps on growing. It's like
the ever growing cast right there. Who'd you kick it
with when you were on set? Who did did you
mainly hang out with?

Speaker 3 (02:33):
You know, normally I hang with Luda, I hang with
Tyresee Natalie Emmanuel, who's just so lovely and sweet.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
This time was actually it was crazy.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
So everyone you know on this cast right is, you know,
in their own regards, like a movie star.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
So to get everybody there, it was really quite tough.
So what they did was they shot.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
They shot everybody almost independently, and I don't know how
they did it, but they they sort of everyone was,
you know, battling schedules, so people were flying in from
other movies. They were on to shoot a day here,
a day there, and then flying out. And I was
doing the same thing.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
I was.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
I was, you know, the lead of this film in
Greece at the same time with Jamie Fox and de Niro,
and I was flying back and forth to London like
on weekends to shoot fast.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
That's wild.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
Sort of like when you hear these musical artists that
aren't in the same studio, they're always sort of recording
and they met. Dang, well, when you get ten to
your tenth installment, I'm assuming you have the budget to
do that sort of thing. And they pulled that off.
So that's awesome. Speaking of de Niro, I just sat
down with him in Chicago for a movie he did
with Manuscalco. My guy's eighty about to have a bit.

(03:52):
Oh no, just had a baby. Can you imagine?

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Brother? Can you then?

Speaker 1 (03:56):
And then, by the way, because I know he spent
some time with all, I'm like, I was very surprised
to hear that he's still putting in work that way.
What were your thoughts when you heard that news.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
I couldn't believe it. I watched it. The news got
broke to me. You know that guy who does the
thing for Barstool Sports, the one minute man. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
the deal. He was like Bobby de Niro. I was dying.
I was like, this has to be a lie.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
Yes, I mean, pretty spry, pretty spry for an eighty
year old to be getting it in like that.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
But hey, good for you. You know, it's it's I
don't know, you know, that's I love that.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
I love that you joined the Taylor Sheridan movie Wynne
River the next chapter.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
I love all his shows.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
His shows are fan I mean even a Yellowstone might
be the I don't want to say least favorite, but
the eighteen eighty three Night twenty three, they're fantastic.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
I really love them. Anything you could tell us about that.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
And how was it working with him?

Speaker 3 (04:52):
So Taylor did not direct this movie. It was It
was a director, Carrie Skogul and she's incredible. I don't
know if you've seen this Roger Ayles mini series she
did with with Russell Crowe, but she's a really great
director and she was really great to work with.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
It was Jason Clark Martin mispronounced his last name.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
Shemir Smyer Smir, great Native actor. Uh, it's actually really cool.
It's it's sort of it's like you took the story,
but then you just sort of moved, you know. You
don't know if it's you know, it's just like a
different crime, a different thing that happens. I don't want

(05:41):
to give away too much, but it's it's in the
same tone as the first wind River, but it's just
a whole different cast and a new crime.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Where did you film that one?

Speaker 3 (05:51):
We shot it up in Calgary, north of Calgary, actually
near near the the Ski Mountain bamp.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
Oh it's pretty up there, yeah beautiful.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
What's this? Uh?

Speaker 1 (06:02):
I read you've been raising your own chickens.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, well we've I've been having I've been
having chickens for at least four or five years.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Oh you've got chickens for a minute.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
Then, yeah, yeah, yeah, raised them from from little chicks.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
It's really quite fun to raise them in to see
sort of like that whole process I'm grow into actual
chickens and then them produce eggs for you, and you
go down and you get the eggs and you have.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
The eggs are so good too, And don't they do
like they produce like an egg a day pretty much?

Speaker 3 (06:34):
Yeah, man, that's that's It depends sometimes in the winter
when it gets cold, they'll maybe produce less.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
But that's awesome.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Every day you getting fresh eggs right there, that's awesome.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
Yea.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
The price of eggs definitely got up. Well, how much
space do a chickens need?

Speaker 3 (06:48):
Where you keep a chicken, Well, you let them let
them roam. We let them roam around the yard in
the day. You just got to remember to put them
up at night. If you if you, you know, you
fucked that up, you might be.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
Down a chickens.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
Yeah right, at Coyote, you jump in there, the whole
deal right there, all right, my man, Congratulations on everything
you got going on. Listen Fast ten is out now, Scott,
Thanks for hanging out. We look forward to the next projects.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
