How you been, Thank you? How you doing.

I'm doing well, man.

We saw you recently, right we did promotions.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
We did, we did, and we were there was a
little contraptions and stuff that were involved. Always a good
time seeing you guys. Yeah, congrats on season four. It's
premiering later this month. Where are we finding the crew
the season?
Speaker 3 (00:29):
We're back in.
Speaker 4 (00:29):
Business where we had a little cliffhanger at the end
of this last season. But this season we're back in
the station. We got a new rookie and it's coming
back to business. All the hygiens in the station.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
Tony Danza is a guest star this season. Asked my
guy right there, did you enjoy working with him?
Speaker 1 (00:46):
Tony Danza? I followed him around like a puppy dog,
like I don't get starstruck very often, and uh, except
for you and Tony Danza so sweet. But it was cool,
like he was talking about he was telling stories from
New York City, I'm from New York City, was telling
Brooklyn stories. He was telling boxing stories. He was telling

stories from like you know TV in the seventies and eighties.
It was and he's a professional he is he knows
his lines unlike us.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
He came in and drilled it. It was a blast.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
I got to see his one man chow. He's a
song of dance man too, which is cool.
Speaker 4 (01:22):
He came into the makeup trailer one day with his
ukulele and did a song and dance for everyone in
the makeup trailer.
Speaker 3 (01:27):
It was just stunning.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
Look at that. That's cool. David Arkatt also plays the
rival captain this season, right.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
Yeah, he plays Teddy Decozy, who is the rival captain
to Eddie PINIESI and so let me squares off against
David Arquette, which was a blast.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
Also, that's great man fun guest stars right there. Also
now out Quasi on Hulu, which is basically your take
on Hunchback and Order.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
Dane.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
You happy with the reception that is getting.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
Yeah, it's fantastic. You know, it's the fans seem to
love it, and you know, it's the first time we've
ever done something for a streamer. Usually our movies are
all theatrical and so this was, you know, this was
kind of a different experience, but hey, it was a
period piece and our homage to Monty Python, who are
big influences. So yeah, we love it.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
Is it true that that movie had been in the
works for like twenty years?
Speaker 4 (02:17):
Yeah, we wrote it like fresh out of college, back
when we were kind of like doing sketch comedy, and
it has that vibe to it, that sketch comedy vibe,
and it was based on this character that let Me
used to do in one of our sketches, and we
just kind of wrote it so long ago and everything
we make it, and then to our surprise, we finally
got to make it.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
That's awesome, man. And what about super Trooper super Troopers three?
I read you've you've gone through like ten drafts already.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
Yeah, we're about ten drafts. And we handed it into
the studio right before the strike, like literally the day
before the WGA writers' strike, and so we can't get
notes from them, but we have started the we started
the process and I think we will probably begin shooting
it early next year. As my guess, good for you,
Good for you, man.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
It's awesome.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
And what about kids.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
You all have kids?
Speaker 2 (03:03):
Yeah, how many guys?
Speaker 4 (03:05):
I got three, but they're kind of I'm becoming empty
nester sometimes. Leny's got younger kids, but I got I
got two kids in college because one in high.
Speaker 3 (03:14):
School and one in high school.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
Yeah, and I have two boys nine and eleven.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
Now we're on the same page, right there, you have
nine and eleven or like the right, well nine and twelve.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
So I think it's a phenomenal age.
Speaker 2 (03:24):
It's fine.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
It's fun, you know, like like they've got jokes.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
Yeah, right, exactly.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
They're a little disobedient in a fun way. But you
can still count to three and they'll snap two.
Speaker 4 (03:34):
And go do the thing.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
Yeah, it's made them do it. And I'm telling you,
like they take karate and so they're in their their
sparing and they're in a ring.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
I'd love to hear that. That's awesome, man, Good for you.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
Someday your kids are able to beat you guys up. I'm
at that age. My kids can beat me up.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
So no one can beat up Mario Lopez.

Are you kidding?

They got a long way to go. I got a
long way to go, but I look forward to the
