Speaker 2 (00:23):
It could be Buckle up and hold on tight. We
got it for you.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
Here.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
It is Strawberry Letter.

Speaker 4 (00:27):
Thank you Birthday boys.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Subject he had on brand new Boxers. Dear Stephen Shirley,
My husband and I have been married for twelve years
and we have two children. He's a division head down
at the plan and I work as a customer service
operator a supervisor. Over the years, he's worked his way
up from dump truck driver to manager and that means
he travels within the region occasionally for meetings. And he's

(00:52):
been doing this for almost a year. And I hope
that he did okay with being away from me at
night because he loves sex and said every night. I
oblige him most of the time because I don't want
him to go find sex in the streets while he's traveling,
we talk.

Speaker 4 (01:09):
As much as we can.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
But the last trip he went on, he said he
had a lot to drink and he was going to
bed early. I know he can't hold his liquors, so
I believed him. He was supposed to be coming home.
On the next day. He called and said he was
still feeling ill and did not feel like driving three
hours back home. I told him to get some rest.

(01:30):
I was so happy when he called me that afternoon
to tell me he was coming home, because it bothered
me that he was so far away and not feeling good.
I was at work when he got home, and he
had dinner ready by the time I got home.

Speaker 4 (01:43):
I went to change my.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
Clothes and I saw his travel bag, so I started
unpacking it for him. There was a new three pack
of boxer briefs in his bag, and a pair was missing.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
I walked up.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
I walked up on him and peeked in his jig
pants and asked why he had a new underwear. He
said he saw them and he liked them, so he
bought them. I buy his underwear, and he had some
newer ones at home already, so why would he go
by underwear? Makes me think he wasn't sick at all.

(02:18):
He turned this on me and said, I am insinuating
that he cheated, Well didn't he. I hate to say this,
I really do, but you're probably right. I mean, because
where there's smoke. Hell, where there's smoke, there's almost always fire,
almost always fire.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
Where there's smoke, no matter how much.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
They try to cover it up or flip it or
turn it around on you. When he's what is he
getting mad for if he's done nothing wrong? I mean,
what usually gives men away is the change of their
normal routine, you know, and in his case, brand new underwear.
Everyone knows new underwear is a dead giveaway. And if

(03:00):
he was so sick, when did he have time to
go underwear shopping?

Speaker 4 (03:04):
Okay, let's look at the facts here. He likes sex.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
Every night, but he's been away from home for three nights,
So no sex for three nights from a man who
loves it so much he can't go without it, who
has to have it? According to you, he said he
had a lot to drink and got sick because he
was drinking so much. Well, why was he drinking so much?
Was he away working or was he partying? I mean,

(03:28):
you know, your husband, and your instincts are telling you
that just something isn't right about his story. I say,
trust what you feel in your gut, and you know what,
you don't have to catch a person in the act.
You don't have to do that to know in your
soul and your spirit, in your gut that they've been cheating.

Speaker 4 (03:45):
Steve.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
Surely, surely, surely, go on, come on, Lord Lord, Lord,
Lord Lord, bring it. I a elv seen no mess
like the platter of it you just served up on
this radio show. I am almost a shamed to be

(04:10):
a part of this strawberry letter.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
Bring it.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
I want to apologize it to our listening artist for
subjecting y'all to my co hope response to this letter, ladies, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong,
I mean, did not say nothing correct. Her entire response

(04:40):
is just like this entire letter, built not on intuition
but on speculation.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Lord her murder. Y'all be married twelve years, two children.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
He's a division head down at the plant you and
custom to serve. He'd worked away up from a dump
trunk driver. The manager. Now he traveled a region for me.
He been doing this for a year, and you had
hoped he'd okay with being away from you at night,
because he loves sex and wants it every night. And

(05:17):
Shirley says, these are the signs. Here's the correction, Miss Strawberry.
He loved sex and won't sit every night from his wife.

Speaker 4 (05:31):
She didn't say that in the last.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
No, but that's all it says in the letter.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
It didn't say he loves sex from everybody and anybody.
All he said, well, hold on, let me prove it.
Let me prove it. I oblige him most of the
time because I don't want him to go find it
in the street. So now once again he has six

(06:01):
almost every night with his wife because he liked having
sex with his wife. Ain't no way in this letter,
he said. And when he ain't home, he getting it
somewhere else. So that right there proves what I had
to say.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Why he's traveling. We talk as much as we can.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
But the last trip he went on, he said he
had a lot to drink and he was going to bed.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
That can't happen. What will let me prove it to you?
I know he can't hold.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
His list rail hold that thought, mister Harvey. So sorry,
I choose well that.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
Part too of Steve's response coming up at twenty three
minutes after the hour of today's Strawberry letter, subject he
had on brand new Boxers.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
We'll get to that part right after this. You're listening
Steve Harvey Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
The subject he had un brand new boxers.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
He had on brand new box So damn what Shirley
destroy an entire marriage with no cheating evidence at all,
not one drop of evidence.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
All this letter was about.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
Speculation, Shirley said, swear thess smoke that is always a
fire almost that ain't true. Let me give you an example.
I'm smoking a cigar this morning. You will see smoke,

(07:40):
but you will not see fire.

Speaker 4 (07:42):
Make your case.

Speaker 3 (07:44):
What you.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Trying to stay with me?

Speaker 4 (07:52):
He smoking cigar but ain't no final.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
But now you surely are talking about And the other
reason is it's because he loves to have sex every day. Yeah,
his wife says she has have sex ay day.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
But I say he likes to have sex every day
with his wife.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
Then she said she didn't say it was nowhere else.
She said, because I oblige him most of the time,
because I don't want him to go find it in
the street. He didn't say he wanted it in the streets.
He said he wanted it while he's traveling. We talked
as much as we can. But the last trip he
went on, he said he had a lot to drink
and he was going to bed early. Sherley had a

(08:36):
problem with that. She said, why would it? Is he
drinking or is he parted well? But then guess what,
she said. I know he can't hold his liquor, so
why would the.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
Man not want to go there?

Speaker 3 (08:48):
And then guess what, Shirlie, she said, I believed him,
cad I, but you don't all us her You trying
to wreck these people home, and I'm not gonna let you.
He was supposed to be coming home on the next day.
He called me and said he was still feeling ill
and didn't feel like driving for three hours back home.

(09:09):
I told him get some rest. Then, she said, I
was so happy when he called me that afternoon to
tell me he was gonna come on home, because they
bothered me that he was so far away in that
feeling Come now, man works through his sickness, gets in
his car, not feeling the best and driving just to
make his wife feel better.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
Ah.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
Now, I was at work when he got home, and
he had dinner ready by the time I got What
when you came home, he had dinner ready.

Speaker 2 (09:41):
I'll be there.

Speaker 4 (09:41):
The actions of a guilty person right here.

Speaker 3 (09:44):
No, the actions of a person who cooked dinner for his.

Speaker 4 (09:47):
Wife because he's guilty because he.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
Was away for the night. Ain't nothing in his letter
say this man cheated. What are you doing, Sheriffan, Are
you listening to yourself? Why are you just these people
home like that? I went to change. I went to
change my clothes, and I saw his travel bag, so
I started unpacking it for him. There was a new
pack of box of briefs in his bag, and the

(10:11):
pair was missing. I walked up on him and picked
in his jocket pants and asked.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Why he had on new underwear.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
He said, he saw him and he liked him, so
he bought it. Oh, you said, if he was so
sick with why did he have time to buy the underwear.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
He bought the underwear when he landed in town before
he got drunk. Damn girl, But.

Speaker 4 (10:37):
Why he didn't take underwear in the suitcase with him?

Speaker 3 (10:42):
He saw some underwear, he said, he liked them, and
he bought him his man when he got drunk. Sureley,
he got drunk, he took a shower and put the
new underwear on because he liked him. He could have
easily just put if the underwear was packed, He could
have easily just put the underwear that was on that

(11:02):
he had because he didn't package more than ware. You know,
he packed more than one pack, So why did because
he wanted to wear the news he wants to dance,
Why does that say? Surely, why wouldn't he put on
the Listen? If you cheat, why go buy a pack
of new underwear when you could just leave that underwear
any trash and put the other panel that you had.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
So it sounds to me like he really did buy
some new car.

Speaker 3 (11:28):
I buy his underwear, and he has some newer ones
at home already, So why would he go buy underwear
I can't buy.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
He saw up. He like, he can't buy nothing.

Speaker 4 (11:40):
He knows I buy his underwear, he knows.

Speaker 3 (11:42):
It makes me think he wasn't sick at all. So
you just said you believe him. He turned this on
me and said, I'm insinuating that cheat. The well, didn't
he No, he didn't cheat. Why would you think he
was cheating? You said you believe you saw pack a
new underwear and he had it on. Why did you

(12:04):
put since you packed underwear which could have not been packed,
because if there was some more underwear, all he had
to do was put the new ones on. Make the
underwear wasn't didn't the he bought some new.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
But what are some of the the reasons that a
man would buy you underwear because.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
Your wife who packed or he didn't pack underwear?

Speaker 4 (12:25):
Well, would you buy new underwear if you did? She
say he did cheat?

Speaker 2 (12:30):
Would you buy a jailing myself in the jeans out man?
Though ye were doing that?

Speaker 4 (12:37):
Boy can't do that get hurt?

Speaker 2 (12:40):
Surely I cannot believe your responding.

Speaker 4 (12:43):
I can believe yourlogize to me.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
And out here everywhere because nothing that is nothing, ladies
say with me nothing that is to say if he cheated,
ladies are with me nothing to just let him say
he has sick. Nothing, they know what's up?

Speaker 4 (12:56):
