our guest co host joining us today. We have Tamara Braxton.
(00:22):
Welcome drumming a clue mom for Tamar Damning. Good morning, Tamaro,
Morning morning. How do I turn my headphones on? Right?
Can you help out? Red? Okay? Right here to make sure?
Good morning morning. How are you feeling minutes since I've
been here? That's right? Hi? Guys, Hi what you're doing
in town? Oh my god? Yesterday I shot um the
(00:45):
Basketball Wise reunion. That was very interesting And no we
don't do that. Okay. Who's who's on the show. He's
still on there, Okay, Jennifer is on there, British is
on there, Brook is on there. I mean it's a
lot of oldgs Okay, yeah, okay, just think everybody has
grown up good but no fighting, No, we don't do
(01:06):
that anymore. Grown good Now we're doing a lot of healing.
Let me tell something, the reunions of I Zoo. We're
not coming for fighting. First of all, I'm not messing
up my face. Okay, I'm not about that life. No,
mart We're gonna talk it through and we're gonna keep
it pushing, learn how to communicate. I like that, all right,
I like that. All right, Well, let's get this show cracking.
(01:27):
When we come back, we got front page News. Angela
Rai will be joining us. She'll break some stuff down.
She'll be here right yes, on the zoom. Okay, all right,
it's the Breakfast Club. Good morning. Everybody is Envy Charlemagne
the guy. We are the Breakfast Club. We got our
co host Tamaw Braxton joining us this morning, and it's
time for some front page news. Miss Angela Raid, good morning,
(01:48):
Good morning everybody. You know we're gonna start today off
with another Women's History Month newsmaker. She is Westlake High
School senior hailing from Atlanta, Georgia. Miss Dave Brown on
My Friend, Doctor David John says, teachs the babies, and
Miss Da is the poster child between community service projects,
launching a podcast and a production company. Da has found
(02:11):
time to apply for and receive one point three million
dollars in college scholarships, and she has been accepted, if
that's right, and over fifty colleges. She says she spent
three hours daily over the course of four months doing
just that. She's now committed to Duke University with interest
in production and journalism. Okay, Dave Brown, we hope to
(02:33):
see you on the Breakfast Club soon, little sists. We
are so proud of you day. What did that mean
When you get that type of money for scholarships, you
gotta pay that back? No, not alone. I didn't go
to college. That's why I asked. No, you go to
school for free. They pay for everything. They probably pay
for your books, your housing or like Okay, yeah, sorry, brother,
I didnt mean it's snapped you. Yes, it's not alone.
(02:55):
And sometimes there are restrictions on where those those scholarships
can be used. But sounds like she's figured it out
and usually gotta keep a GPA above a certain whatever, Okay,
certain average. Come on Hampton University coming through this morning
with knowledge on the scholarship you all right? So this one.
I can't wait to hear you what you all think?
(03:16):
About this. An Australian judge gives a breastfeeding woman the
boot from his courtroom. Why he says she's a distraction.
The incident took place in Melbourne County Court yesterday. The
judge informed this woman trial observer that she was not
allowed to rest breastfeed because it was a distraction. The
judge goes on to defend his actions to the jury
(03:38):
and this is what he said. What I told the
mother was this, madam, you will not be permitted to
breastfeed a baby in court. I'm sorry. I will have
to ask you to leave. It will be a distraction
for the jury at the very least. So y'all have
lots of babies. Taymar. We watched you raised your baby
on Braxton Family Value, So I gotta know if you
guys have words for your her. I need to hear
(04:01):
both sides. But what if the baby was slurping loud?
You know what I'm saying? What the what the top
to look like? I don't know. I got to hear more.
I gotta hit more than the baby with a bottle
in the cart room. You should be able to feed
the baby bottle. That's a breast It doesn't matters how
the baby eats. Man, I gotta hit more. It's natural.
I gotta hit more than just you know, it seems
(04:21):
like there's more to this story. Doesn't seem like to
the story. She pulled out hut and the baby was
sucking it. Yeah, and that's it. I know that sounds
easy to say, but we got to hit more. To
the man. A god can't handle himself. That's what it is,
a man of God. You get turned up by somebody
or distracted by somebody breastfeeding, then the problem is you.
(04:43):
So he knows the limitations. He knows can that woman out.
Man can't kick that woman. No, not at all. Yeah,
he tried to blame it on the jury. The jury
did not say they were distracted. I agree with Tamar.
I think he needs to get a better handle on himself.
Absolutely right. So the last thing I have for you
all this morning is a study that finds the leading
(05:05):
cause of poisoning of young children is opioids. Fifty two
percent of poisoning deaths of children five and under are
a result of opioids. Of study found most of the
poisoning deaths were infants, and the study doesn't make a
distinction between prescription drugs and illegal drugs like heroin, but
it marks a significant increase from the twenty four percent
(05:27):
total in two thousand and five. White children accounted for
nearly forty four percent of the deaths, Black children made
up nearly thirty three percent, Hispanic children accounted for seventeen percent,
An infanti of other races made up six percent. Opioids
killed twenty one out of one hundred thousand people now
getting out of young people during the same time period,
(05:50):
according to the Center for Disease Control and Preventions. So
they're saying that this is on pace with those overall numbers.
The rough Wow. Well, yeah, a lot going on, but
we are going to be back next hour with more
front page news. All right, thank you, miss Ry. Now
get it off your chest. Eight hundred five eight five
(06:11):
one oh five one. If you need to vent or
if you want to highlight me Charlemagne or Tamar, you

one oh five one. Call us up right now. It's

how cool y'all are hot, man, depends how cool y'all
are personally. I need my me time when I'm doing
the number two. I like to be alone. I don't
want talking about. I'm just who was you talking to?
(07:18):
Who was it? I can't feel that? Come on, you
gotta tell me. We need contacts. We gotta. I need
to know why who was it it was? It wasn't
girlfriend and like that. It was just something aboudy that
I'm real cool? Was it a man or woman? Oh?
Maybe she feel comfortable around you? Did she tell you
she was taking the number two? I heard the screen

They're arresting her brother, they arresting her daddy, and we'll

Good morning, the Breakfast Club, Friday morning. Everybody is DJ
m V Charlemagne the guy. We are to Breakfast Club.
We got our co host Tamar Braxton joining us this morning. Hilarious.
(13:27):
Let's get to the rumors. Let's talk Julia Fox from
my hat or you gossiping? Or you chatting? Is the
rumor report? I mean, I guess we're on the Breakfast Club.
This were the Tea spells right right on the Breakfast Club.
Now y'all remember who Julia Fox is? Right? I think so?
She's an actress that was dating Kanye the white girl.
Oh yes, yes, yes, hunch, white girl. He dates, a
(13:49):
lot of them. Her apartment was a little sketchy, a
lot sketchy. Yeah, she's the one that she said she
had rats, but she let the rats live in her apartment. Yes, Yes,
that was the one. Well, it looks like her dad
and brother have been arrested in an explosives and gun
raid in Manhattan. Police say this was part of a
long term investigation into ghost guns and narcotics, and the
suspect is the brother of a famous actress, thirty year
(14:12):
old Christopher Foxes, the brother of actress and modeled Julia Fox,
known for her breakout role in Uncut Gems. In a
twenty nineteen interview, Fox called her brother a mad scientist
type who likes to make three D printers. But it's
what police say he was making with those three D
printers that is diserbing. The NYPD's Major Case Field Intelligence Team,
(14:33):
acting on a tip from neighbors concerned about suspicious deliveries,
rated Fox's apartment at two hundred eighty fourth Street on Wednesday,
confiscating illegal, untraceable ghost guns. Fox's father was also home.
He was held for some time but not charged. Yes,
and they were allegedly making ghost guns and using bomb
(14:54):
making materials. A lot of people like that should be chargy,
like domestic terrorists. Absolutely or right, yeah, absolutely right now.
Of course that was Kanye's expert. Speaking of Kanye, Kanye
is being sued by Boogie Down Productions. He missed his
court dates, so I don't know what that means. I
don't know if that's an automatic win. Now they're suing him.
You remember the joint off for Kanye's one of his
recent albums, Life for the Party, featured on thousand play
(15:17):
a little bit of it. So I've been laying on
around gotty got up and miss you see my mom
see shot always light a cigarette. We talked. I would
call exaggerating them. Hit that little thing in the end
that that parent. Now play the South Bronx. If you
pop that job, you might not live because you're in
(15:38):
South South South. I'm still from Queen, so you can
take that off. Yes, so, but I don't know. It's
just a sound. Parent, Isn't that a sound? I don't know.
I wouldn't. I've never paid that no attention. I'd be
too bigy. Listening to Andrea's verse, that sound was there.
It's a sound, and it's the same sound. It is
the same sound. So they all suit him and Ya
(15:59):
miss this court date. And also Ya has been spotted out.
You know, we haven't seen Ya in a while. Yay
was out with his h I guess his wife. They
said they married, I don't know. In North they wed
Universal Studios and they were also out and about shopping.
And this is after him, you know, allegedly being sued
by a couple of different people. I know she white.
What will he saying that? I know she is? She is, right,
(16:23):
I think so she's not. She's not black. Man. There's others.
I just don't know what the others are. Okay, all right. Lastly,
Floyd Maywell he ran into Jake Paul in Miami. Did
you did you see the video? That's not a little
bit of okay. So they walk up to em Floyd's
with you know, about fifty sixty people and you see
Jake Paul, Jake Paul's talking is Jake Paul. Security jumps
(16:43):
in front of him. Man Floyd may Mayweather gets in
the security face like what you gonna do? And he
goes nothing, and then Jake Paul goes running smart move. Yeah,
what's going on? Cameras I'm just working time. What happens.
(17:04):
You're not tough on him, since you're loss. What happened?
Since you're lost, We're gonna bust him up, guys. Let's
bust him up. Were you running, Jake? Were you gone
your foot? Get your us? What's up Jake? Oh yeah,
he ran to the police. Were right down in the block.
He ran to, like the police. I'm not mad at him.
I ran two. It's fifty year one of me. But
Floyd and people wasn't gonna do nothing, know, Jake Paul? Yeah,
why act like Floyd may whether not smarter than that?
(17:26):
Jake Paul like stresses my soul though? Why his energy?
I don't know. It's like, oh that was very caring.
That's your Jake feeling. That's what I know what I mean,
Like he reacted like that on purpose, Like he don't.
They're not gonna do nothing. We may whether the multimillion
dollar man, Why are he gonna have his guys beat
up on Jake Paul. That's not gonna happen. Knock it off.
And the guy recording, I don't even think he was
(17:48):
with Floyd. He was with us. We're gonna bust up guys,
bust them up. Guys. We we wanna do guys tough
no more. Jake, come on, stop jesus all right, well
at his front page news. Now that's room of report.
Excuse me. When we come back with our front page news.
Angela Rai will be joining us, and we're gonna take
your calls. Eight hundred five eight five one oh five one.
We were talking good sex and Tamara said he'll be
(18:10):
talking good. I'm not having good sex at all. When
the hell was y'all talking about good He was in
the other room. We'll talk about it when we come
back period. Stick around for that story. The Breakfast Lumbard,
The Breakfast Club. Your morning's will never be the same.
Our Audiable pick of the day is The Light Podcast
with Michelle Obama. In this uplifting news series, Michelle Obama
(18:32):
discussed meeting life's challenges with Oprah Tyler Perry, David Letterman
and others. Listen free at the Home of storytelling audible
dot com. Slash the Light, buning everybody in sech Envy,
Charlomagne the Guy. We are the Breakfast Club. We got
our co host Tamar Braxton joining us, and it's time
for some front page News Angel, Why what we got? Okay,
good morning everybody. Today's When History Month. Newsmaker is a
(18:55):
Westlake High School senior Hailey from Atlanta, Georgia. Her name
is Dave Brown and this hour we're getting to add
her best friend, Jalen Ellison Daia has found time to
apply for and receive one point three million dollars in
college scholarships and has been accepted in over fifty colleges.
(19:15):
Her best friend Jalen one point five million in college
scholarships and has been accepted in forty eight colleges. I
don't know where Jalen has decided to go to school.
The day has committed to Duke University and she's got
some interest in production, in journalism, has spent a lot
of time doing community services. We are so proud of
Daya and Jalen Dale and Jeal's. That's a good company,
(19:39):
right when they said show me your friends and I'll
show you your future school who absolutely so powerful? Well,
it's not so good news. Yesterday was Fox. Today it's
Donald Trump facing legal issues, and this time it's another
criminal pro Donald Trump was asked to appear next week
before a grand jury charge with invest gating his business affairs.
(20:01):
The request was made by Alvin Bragg, who you all
know is the Manhattan District attorney. The matters include payments
who adult film star Stormy Daniels. Michael Cohen, who is
Trump's former attorney, leaded guilty to campaign finance charges related
to the payment of Daniels, and of course, was already
sentenced to three years in federal prison for this, as
(20:23):
well as other crimes. He said he will be meeting
with investigators about this case for the twentieth time. This
investigation began in twenty nineteen, and Trump has argued that
it's politically motivated. A reminder that the Trump organization was
indicted on tax rod with a subsequent conviction in December.
(20:44):
While there's no definitive answer on whether the DA will
pursue an indictment of the former president on this case,
it is a possibility. Nothing is going to happen more
pomp and circumstance, teflon Don. This country does not know
how to punish that level of whiteness. This country does
not know how to punish that level of privilege. They're
never gonna do anything to an next president. I don't
even know why we keep going down this role well
(21:05):
because the news keeps going down this road. And what
I think is important is there is a brand jury
that's been in panel. We have not seen that before
announcing criminal prole We're gonn Trump is a waste of
time at this point. We know they're not gonna do
nothing once again. They do not know how to punish
this level of whiteness and privilege, and they don't want to. Well,
you know, I might not be listening to you. I
have wishful thinking because I want this man to be prosecuted.
(21:26):
For you, you believe in either you believe any people
way more than I do. Then, because okay, you know
yesterday you tried to kill us in the environment. You
said half the people is gonna die. So I'm really
not trying to be on your side of the day.
I thought he's gonna be happy in but you know what,
we'll see. We'll see. I'm not a betting woman, but
we'll see. We have type for one more sure. On Wednesday,
(21:49):
we talked about the four Americans who were kidnapped in
a Mexico border city. According to a letter obtained by
the Associated Press, the Scorpions faction of the goulfur Tell
provided apologies to Matta Moron's residents, the Mexican woman who
was shot and killed, as well as to the four
Americans who were kidnapped and their families. Alison Wonderland once said,
(22:11):
curious sir, and curious sir, and that most certainly applies here.
This letter was sent with a picture of five men
who were bound and face down on the pavement. In
the letter, they say we have decided to turn over
those who were directly involved and responsible in the events,
who at all times acted under their own decision making
(22:32):
and lack of discipline. That lack of discipline resulted in
the death of three people, including two Americans crossing the
border to support their friend in the surgery. Our thoughts
and prayers are with the families who lost loved ones.
This has to be hurting. Definitely, send a healing inducial family.
But he's got to be hurt in Mexico tourism too,
because I saw that video of Chameleon yesterday when she
(22:54):
got ride down on by the by the police in Mexico. Yeah,
I mean, why y'all driving in Mexico though? Who does that?
I don't know, but a lot of a lot of
people doing in Mexico is knowing for that because a
lot of people can't forward the flight so they just
drive over and then you know, trying to go. But
it's like anything else, you go to the wrong place,
you don't know where you're going, you don't know what
hood yet that happens in d R A lot that happens,
and you know, so you just gotta be extra careful. Yeah, well,
(23:16):
thank you all. And on a brighter note, happy Friday.
This has been your front pages. All right, thank you,
miss Ryan. You have a good weekend. You got too.
All right when we come back eight hundred five eight
five one on five one, we were gonna do a
freaky freaky Friday time. Time for that. Your kids are
still in the car. Charlemagne to Homie Nicole. I was
talking to Nicole yesterday. Me and my wife was talking
(23:38):
to a homie Nicole, and she's an interior design and
Nicole was saying how she can't even turn the radio
on until I day o'clock. Sorry Nicole when her son
is in the car. So we repeat things that I say, Okay,
you know what I mean. So we're gonna need to
be doing a freaky Friday at seven am. So we'll
do that. Hey, we'll talk about the booky stuff and
all that help book. I don't even know what that is.
(23:58):
What's that? But down from South Carolina we say bunky,
bunky bunky. All right, But the question is eight hundred
five A five one on five one. What's the longest
you're willing to wait till somebody proposes to you? This
came from Tamar, right, the longest I'm willing to wait? Yes,
you start dating somebody, what's the longest you're willing to wait? Um,
at my big age about I'm gonna give you up
(24:21):
to a year? Damn. But shouldn't the other person be
at a big age too? Because that's what I'm saying.
So we're sure you know what I'm saying. Like for me,
it doesn't take a man long to know if he
wants to be with a woman, especially at our big age.
Like how much longer we got? Okay, let's discuss where
we come back. Yeah, eight hundred five A five one
on five one? Is Tamar bugging or is that around
(24:42):
the time? All right, let's talk about it. It's a
breakast club. Good morning, a breakfast club. I think big,
a big age for marriage, you know what I mean,
because you're you're in, you're at that point where you
don't you don't got time to play with nobody. Allies
is not that big age. It is for that type
of commitment, you know, I mean, not in the grand
scheme of life to be a city girl though, like
(25:04):
how saw the word? But that's what the problem is. Right,
you meet somebody, you'll start dating. You really don't know
the real somebody in a year because you really it's
the fake side. It's the hey baby, that's a flyer.
Five to six months, you can figure it out because
people really can't. You can hold their cards that long.
No more everybody, everybody you date at this point you
(25:26):
think you think about marriage. No, not everyone. Okay, I
don't know. Oh, a couple of city girls in there.
How do you know the difference? Um? The conversations. Um,
I can basically know right away. You know, I have
a really strong spirit that your discernment this topic comes
from someplace. Was then somebody you was dealing with and
(25:48):
they was taking too long? No, you don't get that
long with me. Listen this table, this reserve table. People
want to see at this table over here. Okay, you
can't hold on this table that long. Okay, see, but Tam,
you work a lot, right, I do? And I'm sure
whoever you you did, they work a lot too. So
y'all can't be in the same place to really feel
(26:09):
each other around and go through the work because you
you're you're on tour and you're doing this and you're
doing that. So a year might be too too little. No,
you see certain things you know, you know, like right
away if somebody's on the same waveleng if you're that
you're on you know what I'm saying, Like if you outside,
you know somebody who's outside you know, Yeah, like real fast.
(26:29):
But it's a year long enough to know if you
want to do with this person. How long we got
left it our big age? Yeah, we're supposed to be
doing this. I mean, how many dinners can we have?
How many conferences? Real? But it dinner is you gotta
meet my family, I gotta meet your family. You gotta
be around each other, you know, if you want to
be a part of somebody's family, you don't by the
second as you walk in the house. Okay, the first
(26:51):
visit everybody, the representation correct the second one. I mean, listen,
you don't like the smell of the house all kinds
of people, your cousin, a rich person like you? Do
you when you think about stuff like that, you think about,
you know, having to do that marriage contract and finances,
financials intertwining and all that. Yeah, you have to how
what do you mean? Wow? No, I would think you
(27:12):
would just keep all that to yourself. You come, you
come in, you leave with what you came in with.
That's what we're doing, okay, okay? And do you have
to open does he have to open up his spreadsheet
to let you know what he has with his account?
You got credit? All that we gotta know? How how
how do you ask that? For me? It's like date
three or four, that's a little bit much waste my time,
(27:35):
Like I don't have a lot of it, you know,
And so like we're not just gonna be sit up
here playing in each other faces like that, Like you
know what I'm saying, Like, especially if you're like attracted
to somebody, and so I'm gonna sleep with somebody who
can't be potentially my man? How do you asked to
see your accounts? How did that do you ask that question. Okay,
so what's our financials? Like, man, you know what I mean?
(27:58):
Financials are great? Well you open up yours opened up mind.
That's how it starts. I mean, because we have to
really normalize being honest, right, correct, You have to normalize
like having these uncomfortable conversations early on. Let's talk about Okay,
So I dated this guy, okay who told me his
(28:18):
body count was a thousand. That's ridiculous. I thought it
was ridiculouss a thousand that's in his lifetime. I don't
believe him. I think he's lying. I think he's lying.
He don't know math. That's that's you know, first of all,
he don't know math. Ain't no way he's left with
a thousand women. I think that's a little too honest.
People outside Jesus outside, What did he do at? No musicians.
(28:43):
I've never dated a rapper. I've never dated an athlete.
I like different kind of like lawyers and doctors, executives
and things like that. Yeah. Yeah, So after you tell
you that body count you I'm not interested. You don't
want to be thousand? That anyway? Like that's got it?
Sex women the max? You guys, A question like a
man in our forties, like, what's a normal body count? Man?
(29:05):
I just had this conversation this week. I'm forty four
years old, and one of my homeboys was talking about
he slept with fifty women. I'm like, you know how much?
Fifty women? And that's a line. That's a lot. I've
never been to fifty women. That's a lot of people.
But what does he do? A hundred is a lot
of people. What does he do nothing? The reason I
ask is because if you're usually I'm not gonna put
(29:25):
it on everybody. But if you're a musician or you're
an athlete, you travel from city to city, okay, and
a lot of times they knock off chicks in different cities, okay,
So that I would think that that body count will
be a lot higher than your average person. I don't think, y'all.
Can they travel a lot? You know much? A hundred
people is? That's what I'm saying. I was thinking, like,
if I'm in Best Buying, it's a hundred people in
Best Buy, you slept with all of these people? I don't.
(29:48):
I don't believehen people say stuff like that. A thousand
people is ridiculous. I don't believe that will chamber in
twenty thousand. I don't believe that either. That's not saying
all right, well he thought it was pretty normal. No, no,
that's not no. No, A thousand is not normal. So
what is normal? I don't know what normal is, but
I think when you start getting in the fifties to
one hundred, quiet, I need to know, like, are your
(30:08):
single friends and their forties? What's the normal number? So
if they knock if they knock off two people a year,
you guys are not knocking off two people a year.
It's like two people like a month. And you know,
you know how you know they're lying to them out
when you stay to them. So you slept with a
thousand people? How many fdds you had and they tell
you none? I ain't no way that probability is. Let's
(30:29):
go to the phone. Okay, Hello, who's this y'all doing this?
Take us off bluetooth for speaking? If you got us
on there, Hello, not talked to us? Good morning, How
are you feeling this morning? Thanks for taking my call? Good?
What's up? Um? Well, me with my sexuality and my
spiritual fate and things like that, six months to a year,
(30:52):
I'm going to What I mean by that is I
don't like, Oh my god, no, I'm not Jay, not
even just what is it? What are you? What are you?
I'm anti Jay, I'm I'm against the lgb I'm one
of those intolerant people who gets kicked out of places
for being against those people. I'm one of those guys,
(31:12):
not those people. I'm for people. That's weird. That's really
anti Jay. That's weird to have to announce your sexuality.
Well what I'm what I what I was, what I
was thinking that is I take sex serious because I
think that's a commit I mean, activity that's supposed to
share between a husband and a wife. So you're you're
you're you're really your Bible clearly. Well not just that,
(31:34):
but you know, like I understand the psycho emotional, you
know in chemical pH places and connections between those things.
Not at all, not at all, God bless you good night.
Like you're not open to the LGBTQ community, Like relax then,
like you want to only have sex to somebody because
you married, Like relax that you should have hung up
(31:56):
on what you want to for lgbt Who's yo yo club?
This is Tyler K didn't Yo, how y'all feeling Tyler
was uping? Man? Take us off blue too. I'm not
one to five street wear clothing. You sound like being
going blue? Dad didn't go tell us tell us about
(32:16):
what your thought to bro, Yes, sir. So As far
as being buried, well, the timetable that this Tamar put
off about a year for her, I get that, but
most men like, look, your year is just too soon.
That's too much pressure. We don't know what you've been
going on the last that last couple of years before
that globe up year, or whatever the case may be.
(32:36):
A guy needs at least two three four years if
they want to spend the rest of the number one.
I'm blocking you because your name is Dingo. How about
Jesus's that's the resting though, because I mean, I've been
with my wife. My wife for twenty five years and
marriage is twenty fourteen, so you know we were together
a long time. But one time proposed we got married
(32:58):
within the year. See what I'm saying, it's reasonable, But
how long were you with your wife before y'all got married?
Are you listening? But I did not? Just I don't
listen on this show. But Dad is the difference he
was with her? How long? Say it again? The number
were the other were together, It would be twenty five
years this year. So we were together for ninety eight,
you know what I mean? So yes, ninety eight and
the twenty thirteen I proposed twenty fourteen we got married.
(33:21):
But no, they kind of grew up together, right, Definitely different,
absolutely definitely. We've been growing up with these city boys
out here ding goals and ming goals and nine countries.
I guess my thing is why even proposed if you
don't know, if you're not ready and don't even know
the pre see what I'm saying, you know? All right?
Eight hundred five eight five one oh five one. We're
(33:42):
asking what's the longest you wait when you're dating somebody
to propose? All right, it's the Breakfast Club the Morning.
It's topic time. Eight hundred five eight five one oh
five Want to join it to the discussion with the
Breakfast Club Morning. Everybody is tj Envy Charlemagne the guy.
(34:03):
We are the Breakfast Club. We're here with our co
host Tamar Braxton Trouble. Eight hundred five eight five one
oh five one. The longest you'll wait if you're dating
somebody until he proposes. Tamar said, she's only giving you
a year. Have you been a fiance for a year.
He don't want to marry you, sister, at all, at all.
I think you did a little extra time just to
just to feel somebody else. Don't ask, that's real. Damn.
(34:27):
Let's go to the phone once. Hello, Hello, we're asking
what's the longest your way? Eight hundred five eight five
one on five one. You're saying a year is too
too little? I say about about what about two years?
Two years to be engaged? No, no, no, no, I
mean y yeah, well two years to be engaged. So
(34:48):
what's what y'all doing in those two years? That's what
I want to know. Give me the timeline. Let's pop it.
We get to know each other. You shouldn't get to
know somebody I'm proposing too. I agree. Hey, me and
my wife been together. You have been together twenty five years,
been married for twenty three from June sick. And in
that first year I wouldn't even show I wanted to
(35:09):
get married, and I never even know each other. That
second year was like I was the cold there, you
know what I mean? Like all right, you know, because
you know you go through things, and I mean we're blessed. Man,
my lady don't. Oh God is good. But that's a
different time, my darling, that's not these times. You know,
things are not the way that they once were. Hey, Shika,
(35:31):
beautiful Caucasian woman, I'm not he knows you not cocaine
with the name Shanika. He's got messing with Shamika McDonald
Shanika O Coffey Puerto Rican. Okay together, Hey, what's up?
(35:52):
Good morning, guy morning? How long are you waiting for?
Huh said, how long would you wait? Mama? I'm late.
I'm waiting long it takes for him selible financial secure
that he can take care of me, of his wife's
and of our fansom. You gotta I got flapper gass like. Okay,
(36:13):
keep waiting on him, Sis, you're waiting on him. He
ain't the one. I'm waiting on him because we're best friend.
For knock hears of waiting nine year suposed to get here.
I'll wait how long to take his wife because he's
not definitely worth it. I'm not losing him, Okay, different
though they got time in though well, Matt asked your age?
Hold are you I'm thirty one, thirty one. I mean
(36:36):
she got by four years to keep playing his game.
My eggs are not the same, all right, keep playing Hello?
Whose is all right? This is hey lynn? Good morning,
Good morning lynn. Um. I don't think I really have
a time for him. I feel like that all depends
(36:58):
on where you are, and like, because like what if
y'all both know y'all gonna be together and y'all want
to be engaged in all this extra stuff, but y'all
not out of place where y'all can do that right now.
I just also that also gives you a little bit
of control of the situation too, because then you get
the plan and you know all that good stuff, rather
than just running into it because there's a time frame
(37:21):
or or something like that. I kind of agree with that.
Tama said something that's interested just now. Tama said, just date.
But what if Tamar, somebody's into you and they know
what you're expecting and they know what you want, so
they're actually just telling you what you want just to
keep that time going because they feel like if I
don't propose to her, she's gonna walk away in the
clock starts meanly, clock starts, Sam, and you gotta love
(37:44):
yourself enough to you know, have the confidence that if
this person who proposes to you means what they say,
and you have to stick to your guns. You know
what I'm saying. You cannot like keep allowing these people
or these men or women to have that kind of
control over you, to be like, Okay, well I'm I'm
(38:05):
a I have a year to play this game. No,
you really do have a year to play this game.
It's overway after that. You gotta you gotta push, you
gotta keep the pushing. But table saying something too, But
you want you want more kids? I did, you did,
but not anymore because you said my eggs so that
usually Yeah, if you're thirty, if you're thirty one years
old and you're still playing with somebody after eight nine
(38:27):
years the clock you what you really want more kids?
What inspired you to break up? Our situation is it's
actually a miracle, right right. I don't know hurt circumstances.
Maybe she'll come up and tell y'all, but um, you know,
I just believe in having kids a different kind of way.
Like I'm into blended families now, you know what I mean.
I feel like I can offer another child a different
(38:49):
kind of love, you know, and so I'm into that.
So I mean, I don't necessarily have to you know,
birth another child for that child to feel like my
old Absolutely, I do think a lot of people proposed
to prolong the because the clock is ticket. I think
people proposed to prolonged the clock. That's why you gotta
love yourself to move to move on, I gotta go.
The clock starts now. So what if I like a
(39:10):
woman and I want to be with this woman, I'm
just not ready to propose, but I do want more time,
just to feel the whole situation. Date, date her and
see how long you you know what I mean, have
to play that game? Or do you Paul the clock
did well, if you're dating, you don't have any expectations.
So if you're engaged, now we are in the planning
of our life. So if you're not into the planning
(39:32):
of your life, then don't ask her. That's what I
have to say. Okay, what's some more little story? Is
that tomorrow? I feel like that's she just gave the
more Okay, all right, well, we got rumors on the way.
We got to tell you about Jonathan Majors and also, uh, well,
y'all be hating on Jonathan Major so bad. They don't
be hating man. Can men just admit they are jealous?
(39:53):
And any views of Jonathan Majors, I'll start. Somebody put over.
Somebody put a Facebook post up. Somebody sent to me
is Jonathan back in the day, he don't have all
the muscles and stuff. And the caption was like this
your little boyfriend before the muscles. Yesterday you said he
was sexy. He's a good looking man. I say he
was sexy. You did say was fine and sexy. That's
what you said. I said he was a good looking man.
I don't think nobody he definitely said he was fine sexy.
(40:14):
D did he say he was fine and sexy? I
said he's a good looking man. No man, sex man.
He's a good looking man. You said he was sexy.
I did not say sexy. Just say to say the truth.
He said the man was sex. I don't think he's
sexy here we was sexually attracted to somebody To say
that sexy, I mean I would think I was concerned.
I was gonna got rumors when we come back as
(40:38):
the Breakfast Club. Good boarding borning. Everybody's DJ N v
Charlemagne the guy we are to breakfast club out co
host team out. Braxton is here. Yes, shout out to
my kid. He's the only way to school. Good morning guys, Jackson, Brookie, Lundie.
My wife to that I have to go to the
school and read was naming out cities Philadelphia, Syracuse, Milwaukee.
Now I could have said Madison and Logan and Peyton
(41:00):
they're not there. I was gonna say, where's Logan? Logan
got he had to track meet this this weekend in Boston,
so dropping a clues bos with the man of the
Casey House. Shut up, big Logan. But today I got
to go to the kids school and I got to
read a book. Oh I did that one time. That's
what book did you? I don't remember, because you know,
my son had so much pressure on me because he
(41:22):
wanted me to come to his school dressed like I
was going to go on stage. Really did you do that? No?
I did not. I had the sweatsuit ministry like I do. Now, okay,
you know, NBA asked, He asked me, you know what
booksh did he read? I told him, don't hurt yourself.
The cat in the hat and the hat, don't hurt yourself.
Don't try to go too far. Just he said something
(41:42):
like Malcolm X, I'm like Brod the second third grade. Second,
that's fun. You say that's fun. You ain't never heard
him talk for too long on the period. Man. If
context is in that book, boy, what book you're reading?
I don't know. I'm gonna do cat and hat if
the word context is in that book a rustaur process.
I think I said that right. I had a fight
(42:04):
with context this this weekend. You see that Jesus y'all
on the top of my prayer list. Lost the fight,
all right, But anyway, when we come I want to
tell y'all too. Man, make sure you get your tickets
for the Black Effect Podcast Festival, happening April twenty second. Festival.
(42:24):
What I said, it's my line, anyone you tacked up
by a bigger line. The Black Effect Podcast Festival, happening
April twenty second in Atlanta. You can go to a
bit right for your tickets. Some of your favorite podcast
will be there, like the eighty five South Show, Horrible Decisions,
Reasonably Shady, and a whole lot more Than's hosted by
me and Jess Hilarious. Just go to a bit bright
(42:45):
to get your tickets for the First Step of Black
Effect Podcast Festival, happening at the Pullman Yards in Atlanta
on April twenty second. All right, when we come back,
we got the rumors, so don't move. It's to breakfast club.
Go morning. Everybody is j n V Charlemagne the guy.
We are to breakfast club. Let's get to the rumors.
Let's talk Jonathan and Majors from or you gossip and chatting.
(43:07):
This is the Ruble report. I mean, I guess we're
on the breakast club. This is where the tea spills,
right on the breakfast club. Now a man that Charlemagne
finds sexy. Jan Why, I don't know why you're projecting
on me, sir. That's how that's what you said. Yes,
that's how you feel. Yes said he was sexy. I
did not say that. Rad did he say he was sexy? Yesterday,
like three people said that you said projecting. No. What
(43:30):
I told them was, y'all just needed to admit that
people find the brothers sexy. It's okay, that's what I said. No,
you said you find sex anyway? He projects Jonathan Majors
talking about being in a new movie and he's gonna
be playing Dennis Rodman hopefully, like I get to sit
with him and chat with him, you know, when we
get closer, and you know, trying to get the script right,
all these things, you know, all these industry things. But
(43:53):
I never really put a ceiling on myself. But this
is definitely a role where I'm definitely gonna make sure
I'm pushing that ceiling out, you know, because he demands that.
You know, he's such a full individual, you know, so
he's he's gonna demand a lot, you know, and I'm
to figure out how to how to get that, you know.
So I'm interested, I'm excited about it. Let me say something.
Jonathan Majors is a phenomenal actor, and he has the
(44:14):
skill set to one day you know, I believe when
best actor at the Oscar is not that we need
or the white Man's Awards validated him. But how are
you gonna play Roma was six foot ten? How tall
is he? Jonathan? Probably like five nine, He's not. He's
(44:35):
met Jonathan Majors. He ain't no six feet talk. He's
way taller than you. He's not way taller than me.
He's about five eight, five nine. That's cat. There ain't
no cat. See I'm looking at right now, ain't hold
look at this? How about this? How about this? How
about this? But does he look way taller than me? Exactly?
(44:59):
Because he look y'all look like y' in the same game.
There you go, Yeah, it looks you mean like just
all right, all right, now some sad news. We got
a report. Of course, we've been talking about this Gloilla
concert and for that's two times another person has passed away.
(45:21):
This is the third fatality. The young lady's name was
Aisha Stevens. She's thirty five of Syracuse, all right. Her
death followed two other women who were caught up in
the crush. They believe that they were us, you know,
tramp old and you know, because of the stampede. So
definitely rest in peace and condolences to her family and
always sending healing energy. So I'm sad, so sad. We're
gonna talk to him that two times this morning too. Now.
(45:43):
Also Janet Jackson. What's going on with Janet Jackson? Oh,
y'all they say that Janet following her twenty twenty two
docuseries on Lifetime, And ay, I'll remember that. Well, my
sister says she want to go add it again and
do them on the docuseriies almost like a reality situation
and they are filming it right now. Isn't that deep?
(46:04):
I didn't I didn't see the first one show. What
did they not give us the whole story or what?
Well if this is like up today, like she's going
on tour right now, the baby and they said other
members of the Jackson family, it's going to be on
this too. If y'all doing Jackson Family Values, just say
that what you're doing a reality show, like come on,
(46:27):
this is Jackson Family Values. Come on now. Seem like
they tell me your script, Well they can have it, okay,
okay with that? Yeah, because people, I guess sometimes people
I don't know why, but people look at reality TV
like it's a negative connotation to it. So you probably
don't want to talk at a reality show and you know,
and you know it doesn't, but reality TV with black
people and black families, you know, I think that it's
hard for networks to stay the course of black families
(46:50):
being successful and being positive. You know what I'm saying.
They always, you know, want to turn the corner of negativity, fighting, arguing,
not getting along and falling into that stair your type,
and that's when I jumped ship. Would y'all do another show?
Tamar doesn't want to. No, No, I don't want to
do that kind of television because, like you said, it
shows black positivity. Your sisters are doing great, Y're positive,
(47:13):
y'a entrepreneurs, y'all making money like that's yeah, but that's
not the television people want to show all the time
period of time. They want the conflicate my foolishness, and
I'm not here for that. It's a done rap. It's
not gonna happens. Okay, yeah, I remember, didn't Janne have
a show back? And remember that was an MTV behind
that show called Diary Diary? Remember Jine up when when
(47:37):
she shot it back then? I remember that. Okay that
was back back, back, back back in the day. Okay,
all right, well that is your rumor of report, Charlom,
who're giving that down? Contu Man four after the hour, man,
let's talk about a young woman named step Steph for
Janna Santa Bria. I'm sure that's not her name. I'm
sure you chopped it up. I don't know, But what
would you do if your teacher putting hands on your child.
(47:58):
Let's talk about it for out that. Let's talk about
it for after that. All all right, we'll get into
that next it don't move. It's to Breakfast Club the morning,
the Breakfast Club. Your mornings will never be the same, dude.
You know, one word can change everything. Zach Levi returns
as Shazam and the new movie Jazam Fury of the Gods.
This film is a muscy event with epic action and
(48:19):
a whole lot of fun. March seventeen. See Shazam Fury
of the Gods only in theaters, rated PG thirteen. Donkey
of the Damn the hea Hog. It's termed dunk to Day.
I ain't trying to be dunkey today no more. They
should be embarrassed by what they already did. I'm not
making these people do these things called donkey of the day.
(48:42):
And it really caught me off guard. Damn Solomon, who
got the donkey out of the day to day? Well,
Jess hilarious Donkey to Day for Friday, March tenth. Goles
Di Stefania Santa Bria. She is a fifty year old
fifth grade math instructor. Listen to what I said, fifty
year old fifth grade math instructor. Math. Math, Okay, the
(49:04):
area of knowledge that includes the topics of numbers, formulas
and related structures, shapes, and spaces. Okay, you know five
plus five, six times two eight divided by four. We
all know what math is. And when you in fifth grade,
those students, you know they focused on adding, subtracting, multiplying,
and dividing whole numbers, fractions, decimals. You know what I'm
talking about. Okay. Well, Stefania Santabria, the fifth grade math teacher,
(49:25):
faces charges including strangulation in the second degree, risk of
injury to a minor, and reckless endangerment in the first degree.
How did we get to that equation? Okay? What plus
what equals scrangulation in the second degree, risk of injury
to a minor and reckless endangerment in the first degree. Well,
let's go to ABC seven New York. Put the report, please, kay, Liz.
(49:45):
Usually when we hear about choke holds in the news,
we're hearing about something that police are not supposed to
do because it's dangerous. Well, in this case, a teacher
who was working as a math coach is accused of
putting a fifth grader in a choke hold. Now, this
was supposed to to be educational, a demonstration, but the
school district says that student fainted, letting us know that
(50:07):
a staff member they're a math coach, had rendered one
of the students unconscious. According to the police reports, had
happened while teaching a group of fifth graders a defensive
jiu jitsu move and demonstrating on three of them. Someone
alerted the school nurse. The student regained consciousness, it says
the reports, within seconds. Any idea how it came to
(50:28):
be that she was teaching them martial arts when she's
a math coach, you know? The The investigation is still ongoing.
We're not sure exactly why she decided to do that,
an investigation that resulted in an arrest a week later,
a fifty year old Stephanie Senabria at her home in Danbury.
She's facing serious charges strangulation, risk of injury to a minor,
(50:49):
and reckless endangerment. Ma'am, ma'am, you're supposed to be a
math teacher. Night math hofl Okay, this is what I'd
be trying to explain to my wife. I don't understand
this new math at. Okay, Now, I'm all for teaching
kids how to defend themselves, but I'm also all for
everyone staying in their damn lane. If the class is math,
the subject is math, you are indeed a math instructor.
Then why the hell are you teaching my child how
(51:11):
to do a ridden that get choco? Okay, you're supposed
to be teaching calculus, not the Campbell clutch. You're supposed
to be teaching my child how to do fractions, not
thinking for a leg locks. Okay, this is the problem
with the era were in. Everybody thinks they're an expert
at everything. Nobody is actually in alignment with their actual purpose. Okay,
when you see a math teacher teaching kids how to
do tech dbos's a million dollar dream. Then best belief
(51:31):
the math and mathing. Now we all parents in this room, Tama,
what do you do when your child comes home and
says her mathifs scrupt to put them in the crypla
car the crippler cross face, Oh, pray for me and
somebody go get my bail. Oh baby, it's going down. Yeah,
I would have to have that math teacher teach me
so I can teach her yeah, and be what about you, well,
(51:56):
female teachers, they gotta deal with Gee. I'm sure Gil
will put it in the Brooklyn. The headlocks have some
way knock it right out, get put you in a
chokehold before she did. Yeah, and she and I almost
passed out like I was tapping up. Yes. So now
we can't play flight anymore because she she had me
in a lot and I couldn't get out, and I was,
I was dying and I was. It's not funny though,
dropping a clue monster again, don't you do it? That's
(52:18):
a shit. Maybe can't beat nobody in this house. Nobody
he can take. I can take Peyton. She wonted, Okay,
I will shoot this teacher a little bail. Maybe she's
been seeing all these teachers online getting beat up by kids,
so she was doing some preventative measures. She just had
to let these little kids know that she knows a
little something something, just in case one of them get
(52:39):
too sparty. Okay, sometimes you gotta show people your scrimp
so they know not to play with you. But here's
the thing, miss math instructive when playing with other people's kids,
or should I say, when calls it harm to other
people's churn. You need to ask yourself one simple question,
why is the math book sad? I repeat? Why is
the math book sad? Because it has too many problems?
(53:00):
That's exactly, That's exactly what you're gonna have and deserve
to have. Putting other people's kids in the cobra clutch. Okay,
please give Stefania Santa Bria the sweet sounds of the Hamletones.
Oh no, you are the doge of the day. We
do gee, oh the day. Ye fifty years old, big
(53:29):
age of fifty, still making choices last crazy. Yes, it
is all right, Well, thank you for that donkey. Today.
Now when we come back, let's open up the phone
lines eight undrink five eight five one or five one
this conversation, let's do it all. It's Friday, so you
know what that means. It's freaking freaky freaky Friday. All right,
freaky freaky freaky Friday. Question is all right? So can
(53:53):
you say that another man is sexy? That's where the
question comes from. Yes, yes, sexy? All right? Can the
man say another man sexy? And how do women look
at a man if a man says another man the sexy?
Now this comes yesterday was behind the sexy. We were
behind the scenes yesterday attractive. You said sexy. That came.
That came from two places one this audio right here. Charlemagne,
(54:17):
I think kind of have a he seemed like, oh
hero a little bit. He like a he have a
kind of a womanly look. He's beautiful. Yeah, dude, you
tell me Charlemagne ain't fine? Bro, Come on though, Oh
you put him in a wig. Dog. Some basketball players
gonna fuck him. That's a THEO Van. I let hear
theo Van preacher. I don't know why y'all trying to
discourage people from telling the pure and the do treat
(54:39):
the truth this world? And yesterday after the show, we
were talking about Michael B. Jordan, we were talking about
Jonathan Major's and Charva was like, yeah, that is not
what I said. What I said was people. What I
said was people just need to come men need to
just come to the term. What was I saying? Men
need to just understand that women find these brothers sexy.
That's what I said. Okay, are you sure? I'm pretty
(55:02):
sure that people who said that you got said that
these men were sexy. If I did say that, I'm sure.
I was just being funny in the room. But don't
understand Michael be joined. I mean he has a spirit
over him, so I understand what that means. Yes, that's sexy,
a strong sex strong, so I asked him strong five
(55:26):
five one oh five one. That's what we're making men
jealous right there when women talk about other men like that,
because that's what you would love to hear about yourself, Jesus,
A strong spirit of sex. Tell me that all you
don't count. Yes, you had that all the time, even
hand after years. All right, we have audio. If you
trust me enough to let me put my lips on you,
(55:46):
I'm gonna grip like a pit bull. I'm not. But
that's well, that's audio set me talking about other man.
So we'll talk about that when we come back. Wow,
no idea, it's not ready. I was not ready. I
know I wasn't ready. Can we hear that again? Play
that again? You trust me enough to let me put
my lips on you, I'm gonna grip like a pit
bulls I'm not man. First, I don't even know what
(56:08):
that we have explained. I don't want to spit on
the mic during this one. Oh, so you have a
history of this, that's that's what we say. Okay, that's
me all right? Eight hundred five five one oh five one.
The question is again, man, can you call another man sexy?
Why to be sexy? Though? Yes, you can call it that.
Yes you can say that man is attractive. Can't you
say that's not sexy? That's two different ways because sexy
(56:29):
is a sexual attraction, So that's different. If you say, yeah,
that that's a good looking brother right now, you can
do that. Why can't you do that? Let's talk about
it when they come back, and ladies, if your man
says another man is sexy or another man is attractive,
is that okay with you? Y'all are some crazy human job.
You can't look at another brother and be like, that's
a good looking brother right there, or even some brothers
could inspire you should look at Michael B. Jordan Jonathan
(56:50):
Major didn't want to do a push upper two. You
know I agree with that. Do you think they're sexy?
Do you? I ask you? I don't know. I'm not
sexually attractive to them? Guy? Do you do? You tell me? First?
You first? You first? Wow, breast, it's the breakfast club,
(57:13):
come morning, the breakfast Club it's freaky five. It's freaky
frid freaky call in that eight hundred five A five
one oh five one. We want to hear from you
on the Breakfast Club morning. Everybody is DJ Envy Charlemagne
(57:34):
the guy. We are the Breakfast Club. Our guest co
host Tama Braxton is here and it's Friday. So you
know what that means. It's freaky, freaky, freaky Friday. He's
freaky freaky freaky Friday. Question comes from a young man
that finds Charlemagne sexy. Let's listen, Charlemagne, I think kind
of have a he seemed like, oh he a little bit.
(57:54):
He's like a he have a kind of a womanly look.
He's beautiful, dude, you tell me Charlemagne ain't fine, bro
Come on though, Oh you put him in a wig dog.
Some basketball players gonna him, and not only that. Yesterday
after the showy THEO Van, by the way, saluted THEO Van.
I don't know THEO Van, but you know, I appreciate
you appreciating me. Okay, okay, and I agree with everything
(58:16):
you said. I am beautiful. I don't agree with the
NBA player part at the NBA players smashing me I'm
a faithfully, faithfully married man, all right, whatever. Flat. But
yesterday and we were talking behind the scenes, and you
were saying that you think that certain man of sexy.
I did not say that. Yes you. Dad said that
men just need to admit to themselves that these women
find people like Jonathan Majors and Michael B. Jordan's sexy,
and that's okay. He said, you found that guy sexy
(58:38):
and attractive. Yes, attractive is different. Yes, you can look
at a man and say, yo, that's a good looking brother.
You can do that. Attractive is different, good looking brother.
If Charlemagne was a man that you were dating, right,
and he said that another man was sexy or another man,
how would you feel. Oh, we're definitely having a conversation.
What do you mean by sexy and what makes him sexy?
To you telling me, I don't know. I never had
(59:00):
these conversations. I never said these things. Y'all. Keep y'all
keep playing these clips. That's clearly AI know that's you.
That's that's it's not me you. I just I don't
find another man sexy. It's something that's gonna come out
of my mouth. Pause. You can say a man looks good.
I could say that like ms on the line though,
(59:21):
Charlotte man what he said, say it again. I can
say I think women are like him. Now just you
might want to say sexy. No, that's not women like him.
Why women would be attracted to him? By way, that's
that's got sounds ye then yeah, then you might would
just say, yo, he looks good, he's attractive. I can
see why women like him. That's why women like he
(59:44):
could have like, you know, like regular attributes like you know, muscles, successful,
you know what I mean, like things like that. I
just find it hilarious how men are so intimidated by
Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors with their shirts off,
like these dudes be on social media. Great up hating
on these brothers. Those brothers should just motivate you. They're
(01:00:04):
not doing nothing that you can't do. You can go
into gym, you can do some push ups, you can
go get some hgh whatever it is. You can achieve
that too, if you truly want to. I just won't
find him sexy or attractive. You'll find him attractive. No, Hello,
sometimes out don't think I could be Jordan look good. No,
he's not my he's not my cup of tea cup
(01:00:25):
of tea. Hello, Jennie, No, this this dress bad? Bro?
You identify the janis No, No, that's okay, all right,
So we ask you. Can you say a guy is
sexy attracting? Bro? No, not at all? Man like like
(01:00:48):
if you want your home here, y'all get ready for something.
You're asking how I'm looking at it? Look good or
something like that. That's what's the difference. I know, not sexy,
but you can say a man look looking is like
like sex. It's like when your girls from all you
look sexy dab, but when you're homie in us in
a little suit or something. He asked if he looks straight,
(01:01:09):
that's that's cool. But like sex, I'm like, thank show you.
I'm not asking nobody do I look straight, because they're
gonna be like, no, you look gay. Your friends. That's
just your friends. Hello. Who's this? Hello? Hello? Hey, what's up?
Take us off bluetooth for speaker, Bro, you're breathing hard,
(01:01:30):
this conversation heavy. Yeah. Can you say another man look
sexy or attractor? Bro? You you can say it, man,
another man look attractive or good looking, But sexy is
kind of pushing them feel me Like if I'm putting
my my homie onto a female, how he looked. I
was like, Yo, he's attracted, still looking. But once I
stay sexy, I'm kind of awkward. You know what I mean?
(01:01:52):
What if you say you might find him sexy, you
can you can say that too, because I depend on
the contract. Like i'd be like, all right, Michael b.
Jordo with my homie, I'm like, yo, woman thinks he's sexy.
I don't, but the woman do. That's a different contexts. Yeah,
and I know, but you know you're lying about that.
I don't. Hello, Yo, good morning morning. What's up? Man?
(01:02:15):
What's your name? Chris from Arizona? Baby? All right, Chris?
You Caucasian? No, sir, I'm back to getting okay, So
could you call another man sexy to your your girl
or to anybody? Yeah? Bro, look so like my girl
was talking about this the other day with her cousin,
so um they were talking. We were watching the Blackguard
(01:02:36):
Problem movie, and my girls like, my man's like, you
know what I'm saying out loud, like telling straight upbout
I'll be like, dude, like backguard looking at that, like
you know, and it's not even about being game. Bro's
just you're giving this man his flowers. You're still looking
at food out So Zach bront school too, You see
Zac guy bron lately? Bro? Yeah, come on, man, come on,
(01:03:00):
he got what he got? Swollen here playing here, playing
some wrestler in a movie. I forgot with wrestler, but
he don't got diesels. Hey, hey, you're talking. Let's talk
about logan. What's up? But it sounds like so you
and you and Charlotmagne want to fight over Zach Efford.
I don't like white men. Hey, I would never if
(01:03:26):
I was that way, I would never date a white man. Okay,
I'm still following doctor Lamar's principles. Black man, would you
if it's not Zach Afford? Me? Look how beautiful I am?
You know what that man said? A man said, I'm beautiful? Okay,
she might have been on. I don't understand why it's
so hard for a man to give another man to complience.
Not but if I don't find another man sexy, sexy,
somebody I'm sexually attractive to, Okay? Attractive is somebody I
(01:03:49):
feel like I'm attracted to you? One? Okay? I don't
get those feelings for men, So you can say attractive,
good looking. I just can't sit trum. But why is
it okay for a woman say another woman is sexy?
Because we say that a lot. Yes, I don't see
the problem with it. Is that difference there shouldn't be okay.
I mean if you find it another woman sexy, I
don't find men sexy. That men are not sexy to me, Charlomagne,
(01:04:11):
I'm not attracted to women, but I've said that before.
Men are good looking, men are good looking. We're gonna
tread lightly on that line. Yeah, okay. Eight hundred five
and five one oh five one. Is it okay for
another man to call another man sexy or trusty sexy?
You said sexy? You did say sexy. It was seven
people in there that I heard you say sexy. You're
(01:04:32):
shooting a shot with John at the Majors eight hundred
five and five five one. We'll take the cool when
we come back. At the Breakfast Plood morning they talk
about it's freaky Friday. Goddamn call in now. Eight hundred
five eight five one oh five one. You want to
hear from you on the breakfast club morning. Everybody is
(01:04:55):
DJ Envy Charlomagne the guy we are the Breakfast Club.
It's Friday, so you know what that means, fay freaky
freaky Friday. And the freaky freaky freaky Friday. Question is uh.
You know Charlemagne was talking behind the scenes yesterday and
he was talking about different men. What sexy was talking
about Jonathan Majors. He was talking about Michael B. Jordan's,
talking about how attractive they were and all the things
he would think about when he's seen them. I did
(01:05:16):
not say any of that. Yes, yeah, it's true. All
of this is alive. By the way, y'all. So we're asking,
you know, canna guy? I feel I don't think so
unless you find a man sexy. I just don't find
next man as sexy. I think it's okay to tell
a man that it's okay to say the man is attractive.
I think it's okay to say a man it's good looking.
I think that you should look at people like Michael B.
Jordan's Jonathan Majors instead of hating, you know, to take
(01:05:37):
your ass to the gym. How about that? How about it?
How about that? Hello? Who's this more than breakfast? Talk
to us O empty, pretty fake? You tell you I
feel like you shouldn't it? Caller next man was a
beautiful right yes and sexy? Absolutely not, absolutely not, Uncle Charlotte, Man,
(01:06:00):
I'm gonna stop calling you up because you keep pushing
the arflow. Man. We'll call me Auntie then. But let
me tell you something nothing, there's nothing walcome to a
brother and say, beautiful black man and give him a pound?
At you that? Why not? Y'all? So absolutely black man?
(01:06:20):
He wanted the third to be a school calling the
next minute the blue boy, you're beautiful? What'sbout beautiful? Now?
Like that? But I'm saying, if I give a man
a pound, I give him hug is a beautiful black man?
Lead to Uncle Sharlotte black black is beautiful man? Yeah,
black is beautiful. But that's just like an overall state
that you know what I'm saying. We got our egos,
(01:06:41):
gotta stop being so try job that will make me hold?
Did he? He caught the docful so far beautiful at
my point too, we gotta fight. You gotta set that up.
They'd be the only one that to make that fight.
Who said that that part? Did he party loved? Oh?
Did he said? To dude from Snowfall was beautiful. Yeah
you see that? No, we missed that that one. Oh man.
(01:07:03):
I don't see anything wrong that fluted? Did he? Though?
Did he? By the way, didn't make you feel good
with them compliments? But then he gave you a compiment?
What did he said? He did? I saw that? U?
I mean, we see he did? He a lot. But
one time it was like it was last time that
Bishop td Jake's birthday party, and did he walked up
to me and he said the sexiest man alive. And
this was literally right after that Young Miami interview. So
he walked up to me and he goes, the sexiest
(01:07:25):
man alive. And I go miss the act bad? You're
acting bad tonight. And my wife was like, that's all
y'all can think to say to each other the wife, Wow,
your wife should be upset about like like that. You're
taking it too far now it's a joke. And y'all
said that at the Potter's house. Hume, Wow, it's getting interested.
(01:07:52):
What did that one listen to tell you that day?
Oh man? And they ain't got nothing to do with that, okay,
keep hello, oh hello, what's your name? Mama? My name
is Shana. Hey, Seana, what are you calling from. I'm
calling from Georgia. All right, Georgia, Now, Shana, would you
be how do you feel if another man says another
(01:08:13):
man is sexy? Okay? So my take on that, I
just feel like you don't up list each other and
those like it's okay for FEMA to be like, yes, girl,
yes you're doing that, but it's not okay for the
men to give the same energy to other men. No, you,
that's Atlanta talks sense. No man packy bags. See. But
(01:08:36):
it's a difference when I don't know, like if my
man had friends and he called them sexy, I don't
think that I would feel a typeful way about it,
because that's the Atlanta stuff. It's the culture. Didn't be
calling other men's sexy in all kind of different ways
when they'd be like, you got swag, he got swag.
Swag is just an acronym for sex with another guy.
So it's literally like, if you're saying that the man
(01:08:56):
you say any sexy? All right, Well, what's the border
of the story if there tomorrow, Tamar, I don't like it.
I don't have a problem with it. What do you
think I think it's it's the overcomplimenting, you know what
I mean. It's cool to be like, oh, well, most
women find you know, him attractive, but once you started
giving your opinion on how he looks to me, yeah,
we gotta, you know, look at the glass a little
(01:09:17):
bit more closely. Well, you know what I'm saying. I'm different.
I take compliments from anywhere I can get. Okay, they
compliment me. I don't care what you identify as. If
you think I'm beautiful, period, hell me? Okay, all right,
Well when we come back, we got past the OX.
I passed the OX as a segment we do with
(01:09:39):
Nila Simone when she comes up here and she tells
us what she what she's listening to on her playlist,
and we're gonna go through that today. I said, don't.
It's a breakfast club of the morning, the breakfast club.
Everybody is DJ n V Charlomagne, the guy. We are
the breakfast club. Tamar is here, she walking around, but
we have Nyla here and it's time for past the
(01:10:01):
past the oxes. Nala is our young DJ up here
and we gave her the OX card and she tells
us what's popping what we should be listening to and
she breaks it down and it's a it's off your
own personal playlist right now. Okay, so you're not following
trends or algorithms, just what you into. This is what
I'm into, true DJ curation, that's right, Okay, yes, yes,
(01:10:21):
And if you guys would like to check it out,
I got a playlist link and bio on Instagram. We'll
get into that, but I'm gonna start up this week
with a Daylas Soul record. So what you know about
I'm actually just not learning about day so don't shun me.
But their music hasn't been on DSPs. I obviously knew
like the obvious like me myself and I correct, but
I never knew their catalog to this extent. And it's
(01:10:42):
crazy because I'm a big like trip Cord Quest fan,
I like Backpack repperds, so like they're kind of like
that same family, yow finding them? What do you know?
The reason this is dope is because literally earlier this morning,
Angela Ry was listening to Uh, I forgot what Daylas
Soul record it was, But that's because knowledge is say
it's just gotten back on DSP so it gives a
(01:11:03):
whole new generation of people that's discovering day La soul.
And I think it's a generation of people that always
knew they loved Dla soul, but it's reminding them why
they loved them. So this is this is dope Dspeza
streaming services for everybody out there. You can find it
on your streaming service. For years, they weren't on streaming services.
And they just had a big party, I think about
a week ago announcing that, Yeah, so what's song from
(01:11:24):
day Law you blessing your young generation with? It's a
new one. It's a new song. She said, Oh, it's
a new record. Well it's not new, but it's new
to me. Okay, it's called I know featuring oldis reading,
and to me it just feels like, well, I've been
obsessed with like nineties cultures, so I'm like, if I
was in loving the nineties, I feel like I would
like my man have played with this joint ow They
with me? All right? I know this So recipes to
(01:11:45):
plug to Dave that's right, absolutely, yes, I like that now,
I like that? Yes, all right? Cool. I ain't know
if you guys would be like, why we know this
already okay, cool. So the next one is Misgo, who's
from Virginia. Now Missago's mad talented. You grew up in
the church. He plays a lot of instruments for part
of the don't give me Lyne, I don't know okay,
not Hampton, I'm seven five seven could be the seventy
(01:12:06):
five seven by but eight four. He just dropped the
album last week, and my favorite record on there it
is called you Never Visit Me You sound like for
all a little bit I hit Frella in the back
of his throat. And yes, he is from the seventy
five seven area. His family was in the military. Is
originally from Kingston, Jamaica. Yeah, so that that whole area
is where military families usually go because it's a huge
military base in that area. So Virginia, Newport News northfuking
(01:12:27):
all that dam you don't hit Forrell in the back end? None,
he was and maybe her a little Farrell all right, sure,
all right? Cool, shout out to the army brats in
my army brat too. So my last one is a
new artist that's out of Mississippi. His name is Superstar Pride.
The record is called Painting Pictures is going crazy right now. Okay,
(01:12:49):
what's his name? Superstar Pride? Okay, yeah, alright, really I
like him, so I feel like somebody just told me
about him, but I think it was somebody else, But
now he do. Well, thank you for putting a sou
onto him. Yes, of course. So it got a little
a bit of everything, got some jazz, we got some throwbacks,
and we got you know, some new traps. So make
sure you guys tap into the playlist past the ox.
You can follow me on Instagram at nil simone and
just click the Lincoln bio and to take you straight there.
(01:13:10):
I like you putting your generation on the day Law
soul Man, because your generation loves to de ride the nineties,
as they should, because you know, the nineteen hundred and
nineties was the best error I think you know what
I mean. So it's good that you're putting them on
more stuff from the nineteen hundred and nineties. Stop staying
the nineteen hundred. It is the nineteen hundreds. Just make
its sound so old. We are all right, and I'm
happy to be here myself. A pread do the god
(01:13:32):
you're going the nineteen hundreds. Yes, I didn't know that. Yes,
early two thousand, because now y'all aging me. It's fine,
We're cool. Well, it had to be like ninety nine
actually not ninety eight ninety six line. I know how
old you are, and I'm definitely not ninety six nine seventh,
God damnage? Can you mind? Thank you? How can they
(01:13:54):

(01:14:38):
sitting in here with us today because we got a
special guests we're about to talk to. It goes by
the name off next two times welcome brother man, Memphis
got another one. Damn, Memphis got another one. Man got
a record? No, damn, you know nothing to single on
the only part you got. It's cool when they do.
That's tell us about the name from that two times.
(01:15:02):
I can't really just put it on the earth, but
like just know it comes from like some legal situation
that I had to go out. Yeah, so you know,
an old school gave me the nine was I did
it twice. They're dating the nigs they handed out recos
like putting out rapping for people. I don't know how
you get into the rap game. Where are you from?
(01:15:23):
Break it down for a little bit, because this is
the first time a lot of people gonna know start
to know your story. You know, from memph Tennessee. You
know what I'm saying. I grew up on all sides
of maybe Tennessee North, maybe the East Mamphis South Memphis.
I spent a whole lot of time like in the streets,
you know, the average poverty, young kid coming up in
and out of jail. You know what I'm saying music.
I always been a passion though, you know what I'm
saying here since I was a kid, but I just
(01:15:44):
never knew it could make money. I'm thirty when I
was coming up on a lot of money being made
in music between fourteen and thirty. How much time did
you do fifteen? I got locked up at fourteen. I
got tried as an adult, damn. And it was since fourteen,
from fourteen to eighteen, and I went in probably like
two or three time. Then when I turned eighteen, I
finally got sentence. And when it did in my time
(01:16:05):
for what I did when I was fourteen, they can
charge you as an a doll at fourteen if you
had the type of charge ahead, which ain't fair. I
don't think, No, it's not. And I wanted to want
a later in my career be a spokesman foot it
because I don't even know who I am. I'm fourteen
years old, Like that's wow. Yes, it doesn't allow you
to make mistakes. Yes, it's not fair. I was a
feeling at fourteen, so it was it was a rap
(01:16:26):
for me then, like how'd you come out better? And
not bitter? Like I want to know, like just what
triggered you in there to say, now when I get out,
I'm gonna focus on I believe in um, you gotta
be a good follower to be a good leader. So
I watched everybody who was doing it, from fifty Cents
to jay Z too Little Baby to Bag to everybody.
I just I just I just glued in and locked
(01:16:48):
in on their career. Like look how they're moving, Like
I went into deep detail with it, Like they ain't
got no whole lot of with them. Dang, they moving
like this day, moving like the dain't responding to you
know what I'm saying, Like they just getting their money,
taking credate being and they out the way they ain't
and everybody club dang and everybody they taking credate bingis
and they gone on. So I'm like, I'm already going
(01:17:10):
home on federal probation. I'm black. You know what I'm saying.
The odds against me. I got this talent. I know
what I'm gonna go, do you know what I'm saying.
So I'm like, all right, what can you do to
not come back her? Like you see what I'm saying,
What can you do not to end back up in
this situation? So that's why I'm that's how I ended up.
I was gonna ask, you know you signed with money
bag y'all? Right, was that ever a feeling of I
(01:17:31):
don't want to say jealousy, but made you think about it?
Because y'all were in a group with each other, So
y'all started out with each other. Did you ever think
about that or do you think because it was like,
I'm a unity type dude, Like I'm a family orientated
type dude. So you know, like when we came from
nothing together and I come home and you up, I'm like, oh,
let's go like I was supposed to be. Yeah, like
put me on Yeah, like you up, like let's go.
(01:17:53):
Like you know what I'm saying, I'm gonna rip it
ruther own paper, all paper, like, let's go. Like y'all
have some issues at one point, didn't y'all real mild over?
I mean when we was when I was young, I
thought it was you know what I'm saying. But as
I got old, especially now you know what I'm saying
that during my five years I was transitioning to being
a man, I realized how ignity will childs with me
(01:18:16):
on mind? So I made it right mentally in my heart, spiritually,
and then I was able to come home and make
it right physically with him. What was the turning point
for your maturity? Because it really, it really did sadden
me to see you guys like not be on the
same page. So I'm happy to see you guys working
together again. But what was it for you? Just being
incarcerated and knowing that I had to change a lot
of ways. I looked at it like if I'm gonna
(01:18:38):
change one thing, I got to try everything. Like I'm
gonna do one thing right, I gotta do everything you
can't do right in Rome. You see what I'm saying.
So I ain't got no enemies, can't nobody somebody don't
like me, down't like me. You know what I'm saying.
I don't have enemies because it's negative. You know, I
try to be positive. I can like if negatively to
come to a meet, it was from the universe. I'm
not gonna put it out there. That's a good story
(01:18:59):
because we see it. Memphis. They don't. They don't settle
beef in Memphis. I feel like if there's a beef
between two people and Memphis, it always didn't kind of bad.
So the fact that you had money back was able
to get back on good terms. I think y'all should
talk about that more. Man. Yeah, I mean, we don't
talk about it a lot, but in person we do. Yeah.
We always chop it up over the phone. So we're
always talking about it and you know, still reconciling our
(01:19:20):
situation and still getting to reno each other, re meet
each other. So you know what I'm saying. For the
most part, it's good. Like we got a lot of
big things coming and everything. But the group was like
we was rocking. Like it just fell apart. I went
to jail, Youngster win one way, bad Win one way.
Everybody just you know, but everybody ended up meeting back later,
(01:19:41):
meeting back of it. You guys are gonna do a
drink project or me bad? Yeah, come back together. That
would be dope because y'all totally different places. Yeah, I mean,
I'm all for I'm with whatever, you know what I'm saying, Like,
especially when it comes to the city, you know what
I'm saying, with growth on we prosperity, Like don't with
the positive tivitis. I had, like all the hate and
(01:20:02):
the I don't like you because he don't like you
and his feminine female. I ain't dealing with all their
own man. I don't want to talk about negativity too much.
But there was a stampede at a concert you was at, Like,
what was your thought process behind that? I wouldn't even know. Yeah,
but they paid me to be the villain. Oh there's
two times show this did the third because this is
(01:20:22):
my history. This way then been happening. And then it's
so crazy because it's things that I can't even prevent.
But before I got out of the jail, I used
to tell my silly all the time my pot jet
got out. I said, my certain thing that's gonna happen
when I get out there that I ain't gonna be
able to stop. That's right. I like, it's gonna hurt,
you know what I'm saying. But I'm gonna be a hight.
But when you're against the rapper, you against the rapper.
And they say that somebody heard gunshots, which hasn't been proven. No,
(01:20:45):
it wasn't't even gunshot. Yeah, it would problem to so
I think something failed and it sounded like a gun
and people started running. That's what I heard, But I
was two hours away I'm my way here so people,
oh and this two time concert. But I overcoming condolencens
to the manly most definitely most different. I do want
to know what happened between you and Erica Banks. The
age thing. That's that's the thing I didn't I didn't
(01:21:07):
understand liked than now she's younger. You know what I'm saying.
You know, I'm a man. So when I wake up
in the morning and man, my woman, get it. When
I get up, my woman, get up because it's time
to cook, it's time to have some six, it's time
to clean up. And when you get up and you
get in your phone, I don't like that. Don't get
scraighted in your phone. When you're around a man, you're
(01:21:29):
not getting up and getting straight into your phone. No, No,
I'm getting up, taking curt of my beating. And that's
what I mean. Take curt to business. Yeah, I'm saying, yeah,
take here to don't jump scraight in your phone. You're
taking care of business. So you want her to be
about her business. Most different, and everybody around me, not
just my woman. If I'm taking curt of my business,
you need to take her. I thought I think I
read somebody you said she was too manly? What did
(01:21:49):
that mean? I didn't. I didn't mean manly. What I
meant was like the age thing, like bro. And you
know what I'm saying, Like, I went with it like
I'm a man, So don't say I don't really mean
you're bro. And it was no big issue. It was
just like, don't do that. And also as a partner,
I want my partner to call me something a little
more anti baby. Yeah, I get it. You making me
(01:22:10):
feel like you just the partner man. Y'all making love
And she's like bro from Heaven six and she says,
why then, Bro, kind of we appreciate you for joining us. Bro,
(01:22:33):
I appreciate Bro. This is the Breakfast Club. Good morning now,
Miss Tamar Braxton, thank you for joining us. Now what
you got going on? Man? You You've been doing so
much recently, so much. I'm on this nation now every day,
really excited. Do you like it? It's amazing? Um, Brad
and head Crack is so much fun us. Yeah, um,
(01:22:54):
and I have a new show on Peacock coming out
on March sixteen, and it's produced by Will Packer. Okay,
and it's called The Queen's card, and it's with Evelyn
Lozada and also with Nidia. Okay, and the three of
us are three queens looking for love rarely. Yeah, so
you're gonna be dating on the show. You're dating, like
really dating in real life. So what does Tama look for?
(01:23:16):
And a gentleman and a man somebody to propose within
six months? I like, nice gentlemen. Can they have kids? Yes,
I welcome kids. It doesn't matter how many you have
to make. Um. I really don't care about aesthetics that much. Okay, yeah,
black white agent, I'm open. I like that. That's interesting.
(01:23:37):
But you don't care about aesthetics that much. That's how
I know you are og. Yeah, we're not reproducing. So
they can look they can look but ugly. But as
long as they treat you nice, that's all the matter. Well,
there's a certain thing called makeoverse I've seen a few
really yeah, And I mean, listen, you have the car,
you know how to treat a woman. You know you
(01:23:57):
are spiritual, you know what you want in life. You're
already on the course. I mean, that's the trajectory of
what we're trying to do, right, So you already have
the blueprints is there anything that you're staying away from?
I know one time no athletes, musicians, miss and drama.
You know, I don't want that. You know, you can't like,
you can't be trying to figure it out at our
big age. You have to have it figured out. Yeah,
(01:24:19):
so that's it, all right, I can't watch that show.
Comes one to come on again. Good March sixteenth on Peacock.
I'm really really excited. It's really really good. It's probably
my top three fave of what I've done on television. Okay, yeah,
all right, Well Charloman, you got a positive note I do. Man.

on you. The way you move is on you. The
choices you make are all on you. The way you
live it's all on you. Stop absorbing the pain of
(01:25:23):
other people. Recognize what belongs to you and what doesn't.
