(00:22):
the ruler, rubbing you the wrong way. The breakfast clubs
made for everybody. I am murders. I ain't murders murders,
I ain't marmst What happened? You're right, Jaros, I don't

(00:51):
know what the hell is going on here. Let's starts again,
start starting the vouva. Let's do this right. Okay, you're
the only one hearing that. You realize that, Oh really? Yeah,
oh well you had dad Phones's messed up in Good
morning USSA, haydamn. Happy Valentine's dad boy. Yes, it's Valentine's Day,

(01:19):
February fourteenth. Happy Valentine's Day to everybody out there. Hopefully
you are getting ready for Valentine's Day. You are spending
the day with your bull, or you're planning your night
with your bull. You're about to have a lot of sex.
You're about to do things that you don't usually do,
or maybe today's just a regular day. It's the fourteen.
It's not the regular days, and for some people it is.

(01:41):
I woke my wife up this morning with a last
tongue down the throat and said, baby, I love the
immersion tea. No I kissed the first put my tongue
right down. I love you. Happy Valentine's Day, you are everything. Well,
I left my phone at home today by accident. Oh well,
you're not gonna get any Valentine's Days and I gotta
I gotta go to the dentist today. So that's not

(02:03):
a great Valentine's but that's it. Yeah, my uncle and
my dad. I see my uncle and my dad. To
see your uncle and your dad for Valentine's Day. You
know a lot of people ask me, you know, since
I have kids, what do I do for Valentine's Day
for my kids? Well, I mean now, but I have
an eighteen year old who's in high school, she's a senior,
so I sent her flowers to her school for her.
I have a six year old who's in first grade,

(02:23):
and I also sent her flowers as well. I just
sent them just to know about the boys, what about them?
If they don't get anything. No, wow, what I feel
like you should give them things too. You can't just
give on it's for everybody. Yeah. Yeah, then that's such
a tradition of them thinking that they don't deserve to
get presents on these holidays. I've never got presents on

(02:45):
Valentine's Day my mom and daddy never. You know, I
used to love Valentine's Day because I always got gifts
to my parents on VALENTI did they give your brother
Valentie's Day gifts? I don't know they did GIVEE don't
think that Logan would like chocolate? No, you don't think
that Jackson would like us Deff the animal? No, No,
I think kind that Charlemagne just walk in? What Charlemagne

(03:06):
the on air lighters broke guys, Yeah it is. I
was just saying that, you know, for Valentine's Day, I
buy my daughter flowers. I buy my daughter Teddy Bears.
And she was like, what about your something? I'm like,
what about him? He good? Not forgot? Yeah, That's what
I'm saying, Like, there's never been forgot he's doing. Hey,
you never know in this area. I get, I get
my boyfriend Valentine's Day presents all the time. What do
you what do you get him? Might get like a

(03:27):
nice little gift from nothing huge, but maybe then accessory
from Louistan or something like a relationship. But I wouldn't
you know what. I just wouldn't get my son of
Valentine's Your daughter is not in a relationship either, No,
but that's my baby girl though that she's your heart
about hearts, Yeah, she's always my love so the people
that are your hearts. But my son is my heart too.
But yeah, I don't know. I just I'm just asking.

(03:49):
You know, I don't have kids, but I know I
got presents every every single year. Maybe they left out.
I don't know how how my son would take it.
Flowers to his schools, be flowers, you know what I mean?
Like this about you're a sixteen year old teenage that
you walk into school, they see some flowers, Happy Valentine's
Day for dad. Like, guys don't like it, silence, I'm
not that progressive. I don't. I don't like. I mean,

(04:10):
I don't. I don't want to fly. We're not that
progressive that I would buy my sending my son flowers. No, sorry,
it can't be just a gift, though. I just don't
think Valentine's Day for God, and this is all about
all about the ladies personally, and I think that's cool.
It's it's a it's a holiday about romance and love,
and it's a day that we show that. I mean
not even a day, because we always show that. But
if it's a day of celebration for the one you love,

(04:31):
that's all. I always interpreted Valentine's Day as if you're
in a relationship or if you like somebody, because you know,
we always used to get those secret Valentine's Day cards
from people who are like your secret admirers. But I
always looked at it as a day for people who
love each other. So you get whoever you're with a present,
whether you're with a guy or two guys or two
whatever it is, whatever person is that you love. You know,

(04:52):
I get my boy in the present. If you're in
the same sex relationship, like two guys, of course they
would buy something. I wouldn't I buy my boyfriend and something.
You guys, now, I was just talking about for kids.
I mean, you gay guys are the kids too, But
I thought we were talking about our actual sons. I
was talking about excited because you guys were saying that
it's only for it's when you buy women presents, but
I felt like it's for each other. All of the

(05:14):
story is it's for people in relationships. So I'm sorry
to all you single women out there. Are you single
folks who can't relate to what we're talking about this morning? Okay,
because today, if it's not Valentine's Day for you, it's
actually a single Awareness Day? What does that mean? It's act,
it could be it could be an acronym for SAD. Okay, well, no,
SAD is the acronym for single awareness days. It's okay.

(05:38):
We're here for you this morning though you know radio,
even though it's old school, we are the companion to
you people every morning. And so for all you single
folks out there, for all you sing with companions, no
I call them companions, think that my petch. That's why,
for all you single folks out there, we are here
for you this morning. We are your Valentine's Okay to

(05:59):
Breakfast Club mean God, Angelie, DJ Andvy, we are your
Valentine this morning. We love you, I love you, which
but we're gonna do this morning because we're gonna do
this on our social media. Jimmy Jazz actually gave us
some gift cards after we did that whole story on
the Jimmy Jazz mannequins. We're gonna give a lonely girl.
So so each one of us has a gift card
to give away to somebody for Valentine's say. So if

(06:20):
you're not getting a present, if you're lonely by the all,
I don't put me in your illegal promotion. Don't see
no week did you run this bot corporate this on
my social media? But I just thought it was nice
because we mentioned it, and then we said we should
give away a Jimmy Jazz gift card because we liked
the way their clothes look. That's right, And so I
got something that's exactly what I want to give a

(06:41):
single person this morning, and gift called to Jimmy jazzs
let's do it baby, all right? Antonio Brown to be
joining us to small Oh my god, Antonio Brown. He's
a cancer like me. Yes, that good water sign energy,
that good unpredictable energy of being here this morning. Another
cancer being here this morning. More good water sign energy
and predictable energy. He'll be here this morning's gonna be

(07:02):
a very messy morning, all right, and us you're Valentine
for your single ass goodness, Gracis. Now youve got up
front based dudes. Yes, we are going to be talking
about some positive things. Somebody is getting in elementary school
named after her. We'll tell you who it is. All right.
Now we got an our Heart radio premiere. Uh this
is the Megos No such thing featuring Travis Scott and

(07:22):
Young what's such thing? That's what's radio premieres anymore? I mean,
what records out? But we gotta say that exactly. Can
we stop with this dated verbage? All right, Heart, there's
this thing is premieres anymore? All right, We're here's some
new music. It's Megos, Travis Scott. Okay, it's called Give
No f It's the Breakfast Local Morning. That was the music. Now,
I don't know how much time you have for front page.
That's not new music, but it's new to radio. It's

(07:43):
new music, came from new to radio. It came out today.
I think it's what we talk about. You. Well, let's
talk about William Barley, Attorney General. Now he's saying that
he cannot properly do his job. With Donald Trump tweeting.
And this is all after Donald Trump tweeted about Roger Stone.
They said he was responding to a tweet that said
prosecutors recommend up to nine years in prison for Rogerstone.

(08:04):
Donald Trump then tweeted out, this is a horrible and
very unfair situation. The real crimes were on the other side,
as nothing happens to them. Cannot allow this miscarriage of justice.
Here is what William Barr had to say. Public statements
and tweets made about the department, about cases pending in
the department, and about judges before whom we have cases

(08:27):
make it impossible for me to do my job and
to assure the courts and the prosecutors in the department
that we're doing our work with integrity. All right, So
that may be true. So I don't know how Donald
Trump is going to respond now, as you know, he
doesn't like people that work with him that criticize. Yeah,

(08:47):
that's why I think either that's troubling. Priority said that
was a well prepped statement, because I think William Ball
had to testify in front of the house soon, if
I if I'm not mistaken, So they probably sat down
and prepped that just to throw everybody off. All right, Now,
Michelle Obama will have an elementary school named after her
in northern California. West Contra Costa Unified School District has
voted to rename the school after former First Lady Michelle Obama.

(09:12):
So that'll be pretty nice to have a school named
after you. All right, Well, I manage you, la yea.
And that is your front page news. Let's let's keep
in mind your day's national. I'm single and sad about it,
but tomorrow I'm a front like being an independent single
lady is fund day. That's what today is. Well, today
is tomorrow. It's a lot of single men out there too,
by the way. And I want to slew Taylor because
yesterday I was. I was giving Taylor hell because you know,

(09:33):
she didn't have her head done or her nails did.
And that's how you can tell somebody don't have a Valentine's.
But the day she came in with the fresh poetic
justice braids, looking super fresh, she said, I'm good, I mean,
my big guy, all right, she got a rage struggling
to glose Mama Taylor, she got a Valentine Get it
off your ches. Eight hundred five eight five, one oh
five one. If you need to vent hit us up now.

(09:53):
It's the Breakfast Local boarding the Breakfast Club. Did your
time to get it off your chest, whether you're mad
or blast, So you better have the same industry we
want to hear from you on the breakfast club. Try

Have you Valentine's Day? Sar? Okay, thank you? You know
I know why Shan you're so angry Valentine's Day? Why
he always be so mad? Who's angry and be mean everybody?
And it's because he got to spend time with his
wife and his side man be at home. I don't

(10:43):
ever did respect my wife like that. I don't cheat
on my wife. Black men don't cheat. Okay, Yeah, there's
nothing sad about me on Valentine's Day. Actually love Valentine's
Day because I am in a healthy, loving relationship. What
about your side man? Um, I don't have I guess
I understand what you're saying. No, Chad, if you have

Day and sad as an acronym for that good morning trap.

(11:25):
And as I always do, shout out to all the
ladies that are happily single after getting out of a
really bad relationship. Sometimes rather you'd rather be happily single
than miserable in your relationship. Some people are lonelier when
they're with somebody they don't need. Some people are just
single because it's just not their time right now. That's all.
I'm sorry. Next year, next year, it will be your year. Okay, Well, well,

your man or blessed, we want to hear from you
on the Breakfast Club. Hello. Who's this Hey, It's just
Juice from takes Burg. Hey, Juice man, you sound single today? Bro?

(13:37):
I am. I'm real single man. So I had a friend.
We were a were uh we're official on Facebook, and
this happened during the Super Bowl. She was worried about
her ex popping up, and I like, you must be
still talking to him. So come Monday, I said, let's
break it off. She's like, no, I want to be
with you. Tuesday, I don't hear from her. Wednesday, I
don't hear from her. So I pull up at her
crib and her axes over there and I'm about he's big.

(14:00):
He's big, like he just got off the pen. So
you took your ass back in that car? Yes? Did?
I was like, dude, I don't want to fight y'all,
just want to show you the messages. He didn't know
about me. He didn't know. I didn't know, but I
knew she was kind of talking him. I was like, look,
I got pictures the little girls call me daddy, And
he's like, oh for real, how you stay? Just took
that on the chin and kept it moving, brous You

(14:22):
want to catch you want to catch your red handed.
So you know what I'm saying. We don't. We don't
talk no more. But I told her to kick rob
and she came up and apologized and saying she started
for wasting my time. But I ain't got time for that,
damn it. Well listen, man, enjoy today. Today is sad,

But I'm like, chill, why you I'm telling it's trying
to be positive. If you hit you over they talking
about as him and some irrelevant thing, why is that?
Why is that not being positive? Be together every more?
I'm you and your baby. That's not positive it's valentizing.

(15:06):

sad to me. Yeah, all right, you're gonna cry in
the car. Hello? Who's this? Hey? Hey Tisia? Hey, Okay,

(15:50):
I have to agree with Angela. Ye that one time
is just not for girls, guys to it. My son
is about to be twenty one. Every year he's growing up,
I always got him something for Valentine's Day. I even
send stuff to his college. Just it could be like
a pair of pants or socks to underwear, something with
a little heart candy. I love you. Yeah, there you

got an imaginary friend? Shout out to your imaginary that's
so mean. No, no, that's my ps. You was a

(16:55):

why are you upset if you're not single? Single? But
it's just bad. Why I'm not married and I'm not like,
this is not my per se boyfriend. But I go
out for me and I do things for him. But
you are such a Oh so it's not your it's

(17:17):

you're going out tomorrow? We're going out today? Well, congratulate
you guys. Have a wonderful evening. And I think it's
great that you send your son something for Valentine's Day
and that you get your man something as well. Start
out to the University of since you larkings out he's

(17:39):
a football player. Yes, I send himself, Charlotte. Quit hate.
They don't look good at it. You have a good morning.
Why can't I shout out to single people on Valentine's
Day that it's not my fault. Y'all leave them out
every year, or y'all think about it yourselves and y'all relationships.
I show love to the single people. Today is sad
single awayness? That everybody's not sad any single awareness Day

(18:04):
as a d it's an acronym. Nobody said anything about feelings.
Play the theme music dramas. This sounds like you're the
theme music. Yes, speaking of Valentine's Day, We'll tell you
what couple just put out a Valentine's Day songs just
in time for today. All right, we'll get into that next.

By the way, day holiday, four days. You got a

(18:46):

parents as I'm your news. I just want to know
everything you said, some news you up for me. I
want to know if we can love you. I mean

(19:52):
I love you, Manling. We come to mind you always
come through in the fall, and you know you've gotten
a tattoo dedicated to Klannie earlier in the month for love.
The two of them had gone through some ups and
downs because she had tweeted out before I'm single and
focused in December. But it looks like they're working things

(20:13):
out now. You were in Ready to day because he
in love, not because he's a blood Him and Klannie
will be somewhere to Night Butterling Now, I know the
song already being came out, but it also is a
great Valentine's Day song and it's Charlie Wilson, produced by
Bruno Mars. Forever Valentine, Come through, Charlie. I don't need
the four dree show. How much you the one thing

(20:38):
whom you fend so much, strowing energy, hold on, hold,
smell the Crown Royal Coolie Wilson, the Crown Orland cool

(21:00):
water is strong on that one, got it that one?
Hey hey? Now? Speaking of new music, Tink put out
a new album today, Drink Hopeless Romantic Our Ladies. She
is gone. I'm sick of starting over every month. I'm
always falling in and out of love us. I don't
want to be with a manny being. Ain't gone, lady.

(21:24):
I don't want to love anymoggause you don't take this series.
I don't want to talk things out of a hurd story.
It's the same old gys you know you think it,
same bike, how to get you out of my listen.
It discussed me how much the industry sleeps on Tink.
That woman is the young goat the young legend of

(21:46):
her tink damn, not just on a singing tip. She
can spit, she can wrap. She's dope and what I love.
She's the number two trending topic on Twitter right now.
All right. Also, hey Boogie with the Hoodie. He put
out his artist two point old album to day as well,
put a stain just funny. They just hank because I'm rumping.

(22:10):
Let me remember when we's doing Ruby, I'm just saying,
why are you working? Let go just a tickle. Let
take the get you know, that's all. Let's take the
get smoking. That's fat, I mean and quick. I come
a urgent woman, past bad cry into New Jersey because

(22:32):
New York don't like to strike me. Made it fronts
thirty and we run off with the sack. Clearly that's
the baby. That song is called Staying. Other guest appearances
on a Bookie's album feature Young Thug, Roddy Rich, Gonna
London on the track Summer Walker, Trap, Manny Khalid, little
Uzie Birt. So now why we took that hard left? Now?
I thought were playing Valentine's Day. They don't like the trap.

(22:56):
I thought it was dank. I thought it was you
can like your thugler to book, but not the day.
If he picks you up playing that to day, your
vagina has no value to him. Nah. People like this too. Also,
Justin Bieber, his album Changes is out Today's seventeen tracks.
This is his fifth studio album. Some days a moms
like water, Oh God, some days A burn like fire.

(23:20):
Some days I want to push further. Some days I
wanna do nothing. I just wanna be the best of me.
Sometimes we might disagree so that I can be the
best for you. That's all I want to do. I'm

(23:41):
going through changing. I like that. That's all the freshly
single people. On Valentine's Day. You've been messing up all year,
your dumb ass. And she she broke up with you
about two weeks ago, and now you're trying to get
her back to you, singing to her on Valentine's daw
You just trying to be the best year. You want
to make changes in your life, change talking. He clearly
in a happy relationship, married, He's that's romantic, all right,

(24:04):
right that so, of course when you don't write, that's
the type of stuff you make, even though you're in
a grade right there. Yeah, this is very personal. I
don't know, I don't all right. Other features on Justin
Bieber's album include Quaver, Post Malone and Clever Little Dickie Chavis,
Scott Klani and Collanie's Going on the Road with him
as well, and Summer Walker remix of course to Yummy.
All right, I'm angela ye oh, shout out to Boosey.

(24:25):
He got a new mixtape out and we'll get something
from that for you as well. So that's out today,
bass Mo three. If the man pick you up playing
Boosy the day, all he want to do is hit
you raw, get you pregnant, and leave you. I'm telling
you right now, Okay, I'm telling you that stereotype based
on what I'm just telling you what it is. The
man pick you up playing Booty the day, he is

(24:45):
gonna hit you raw, get you pregnant, and leave you. Okay,
take your chance. It's gone with you gone. All rights report.
We got front paced dudes. Next year. What we're talking about,
let's talk about a new memoir that's coming. And you've
been waiting to hear what this person has to say. Well,
he's finally writing a book. All right, we'll get into
that next. Now, let's get into a joint. This is

(25:06):
you know, it's weird. We're just playing this joying a
Valentine's Day. We could be playing like R and B
joints on this just this spot. But okay, I think
give the number two trending topic in America right now. Well,
you know we're playing me goals Travis Scott, young thug,
give no f on Valentine's Day? Have you Valentine's Day? Y'all? Listen,
somebody you gotta be a Reubel when you're single and angry,
say I don't give a Valance Day. It's the Breakfast Club.

(25:27):
Good morning. Everybody is DJ mvy Angela Yee, Charlemagne the guy.
We all to Breakfast Club. Let's getting some front page
news when we're starting easy. Well, former New York City
Mayor Michael Bloomberg has apologized again. Oh god, but they
stop and frisk remarks that he made. Now this all
came up again because back in twenty fifteen, he did
an appearance at the Aspen Institute where he said, ninety

(25:48):
five percent of your murders had murderers and murder victims
fit one mo. You can just take the description zerox
it and pass it out to all the cops. They
are male minorities sixteen to twenty one. That's true New
York is too, in virtually every city in America. That's
what he said in that audio, and that audio he
originally also had said minorities were arrested at a disproportional

(26:09):
rate because we put all the coups in the minority
neighborhoods because that's where all the crime is. Here's what
he is saying. Now. It's hard to talk about because
it's the one thing out of my twelve years in
city hall that I sort of regret. But I think
if you take a look, what we learned was that
we weren't on top of things and we didn't understand

(26:33):
just how impactful it is was on young amount of
color who got stopped. We did bring the murder rate down,
but it got out of hand and I didn't stop
it fast enough. And I apologize for it doesn't sound
very apologetic to me. Listen, the best apology is a
black agenda presents something to count of those racist policies

(26:53):
you implemented, simple and it's amazing to me how many
black people have already given Bloomberger keys to the car
the man over saw one of the most racist policies
in New York City history. Would stopping Friste man is
pro redlining, which is another systemic racist policy for Paul
black and brown people. And you need girls just fell
in line with him for some money. Y'all should be
a shame to yourself. What is Bloomberg doing the kind
of some of those racist policies he implemented? Man, Come on, well,

(27:15):
he has this whole Blackspot Bloomberg campaign that he was launching. Also,
what is it? What has he done again? Your trust?
Show us something. I don't know what it's going to
end up being because I haven't seen this specific policies yet,
but I do know that he is now trying to
I think people are so scared right now they just
don't want Trump to win that it's almost like that
just you know, they'll just go with anybody that think
that that's not a good enough trup. Let me tell something.

(27:36):
Voting out of fear, voting just because you want just
want Trump out the office, that's not a good enough reason,
but not voting at all. It's a terrible thing, it is.
But the best apology for people like Bloomberg Biden. You know,
Buddha Judge is a black agenda. Items. They seems like
they've all done something against black people. So it's like,
which way do you go? Once again, the person that
has the least amount of things against black about what

(27:57):
are you doing today? Now? Yeah, that's how you chang.
How are you going to write those wrongs? And what
are you doing that? That's what I'm telling you. The
best technology is a black agenda. Voting for people who
don't ff with you is not empowerment, is just keeping
the same people that keep they put on your neck
in power. Make these people present something to you for
you just aid them your ass. All right. Now, let's

(28:18):
talk about Colin Kaepernick. He is writing a memoir on
the National Anthem Protest, and that is going to break
down his whole decision to nail. It's his first project
in his new endeavor, Kaepernick Publishing, and he's going to
detail all of that. He said, my protest was the
culmination of years of thought and experiences of learning and
un learning. I want to tell the story of my

(28:39):
evolution and the events that led me to protest systemic
oppression and hope that it will inspire others to rise
in action. Well that's good because he's not doing any
interviews or anything like that. So maybe he's telling his
side from his way, so he should do interviews after
that though, And if you're going to put this book out, yeah,
speak on it. He should have been talking a long
time ago. And that's what leaders do. Leaders lead, You
know what I'm saying. You can't lead in silence, all right?

(28:59):
If Vanessa Bryant has renamed Kobe's charity to honor their
daughter Gianna as well Mamba and Mamba Sita, the Mamba
and Mambasita Sports Foundation, and that's to honor both of them.
As you know, there's no twenty four without two. So
that's why they have updated the Mamba Sports Foundation now.
And there are some memorial service plans that have been unveiled,

(29:21):
so sources who are familiar with the planning say that
they're working very closely with Kobe's family to finalize who
will speak at the service, what singers and entertainers will
be taking part. Tickets will be available to the general public,
but there will be a number of invited guests who
get tickets first. That includes family, friends, players, NBA officials,
and season ticket holders. So the seats that remain will

(29:42):
be sold to the public at a price that reflects
the memories of Kobe and Gig. They're talking about the
upper seats being sold for twenty four dollars and two cents.
Whatever that price ends up being, the said will reflect
whatever they're doing to honor Kobe and Gigi as well.
All right, I'm Angela Yee and that is your front
page news. All right, thank you, miss ye. Now when

(30:02):
we come back, we got a water sign in the building,
wide receiver, A fellow cancer, Antonio Brown will be joining us. Yes,
he's been doing his press run. He's a cancer. He's
a water sign. That means he's sensitive, emotional, very unpredictable. Okay,
so we don't know what may happening here today. All right.
I couldn't be overselling this thing though. All Right, we'll
talk to him when we come back, so don't move.
It's to Breakfast Club the morning, the Breakfast Club pointing.

(30:27):
Everybody is DJ mvy Angela Yee, Charlemagne the guy. We
are the Breakfast Club. We got a special guest in
the building. Just indeed, Antonio Brown, Yo, welcome sign. Thanks
maby got the clean ass cold on you. You're born
July ten, right, Are you in the scrology at all?
Horroscopes a little bit so you know you're a cancer? Yes, okay,

(30:49):
I have to finding that out. I feel like I
might understand you. It's a tad bit more emotional, a
little bit sensitive, hard on the outside, tend on the inside, right,
little man. If you don't know who ab is, of course,
he's from Miami football play played with US several teams,

(31:10):
the Steelers, the Raiders, the Patriots, and he's not in
the league currently. Right now, you've been in the news
lately for all are our reasons? You know that? Yeah?
You know Raiders wire yesterday they said that your apology
told wouldn't last long and they said they've seen this before.
How would you respond to that? Well, man, as a man,
you just gotta, you know, do what's best for yourself.
Anytime you're trying to make something right, it's always gonna

(31:32):
be people described the saying what they funds in towards it.
You just gotta stay focused on the purpose of the
message and what I'm trying to give off. Isn't true
that the Raiders are considering bringing you back at all? Hopefully.
I just want to be on the team that uh,
you know, protect my well being being around guys that
want to work hard and want to win the NFL
really good be able to say that they say they do.

(31:58):
But you know, you gotta take itself at all the time.
You feel like the league is gonna do what they
did to Kyla Kaepernick to try to do to you,
where they box you out and no team will try
to pick you up because of maybe your history and
some of the things that you've done off to feel
maybe you know, that's what it seemed like thus far,
you know, not being able to have a deadline or
have some type of information that give me any clarity,

(32:19):
would i'd be able to continue my career. So they
haven't told you nothing like that. You don't know what
they're saying on you coming back. Yeah, it's a lot
of unknown. What things have you been doing to work
on yourself? We saw the public apology you did to
your ex, and so what are some things that you
realize after having gone through everything that you've gone through,
are their regrets? Are there steps that you're taking and say, Okay,
this will never happen again. So for me, it was

(32:40):
just cleaning out the circle that I've been around, being
able to communicate with people that that really don't want
nothing from me and support my world being. You know,
it's hard every day when talking to people from different
agendas and everyone coming out with you for to get
some So just being with people that support my mental
health and and around the right circle of people. Let's

(33:01):
talk about that because a lot of people say that
they feel like you are suffering from some type of
mental health issues that have you Have you looked into that,
any therapy or anything like that. Now, I just think
you know, when you hold a lot of stuff in,
you build up anger. For me, you know, it's about
just being able to talk to someone that you know
that always don't regard to take back or what they
need or they want something from me. But that's why

(33:22):
therapist is good. You never sat down therapist. I go
to therapy once a week. My brother. Yeah, yeah, that's
what I'd be doing, Okay, like calling in talking to
the therapy because you know, as you say, the therapy,
you know they just hear you out. They could listen
to you with positive feedback and with no intention. So
you're you're aware that you're doing some Why Basically, I
feel like I've just been doing what's best for me.

(33:42):
You know, anytime someone's doing best for them and that's
outside the normal of woods and regulations, you know, it's
gonna be scrutiny. But I haven't done anything that bad.
You know. I think I showed some bad emotions that
some bad situations, but for the most part kind of
you know, I'm doing nothing, but you guys to givet

(34:10):
see what you got, see what you That's wu the
hate 's done. That's why the hate in me. I'm
not shouting man giving out a lot of gifting, mister

(34:33):
Mark shot man giving out a whole lot of that.
That's for the guys hate that. I'm fine with that.
Do you know you're getting me? You know, just listen.

(34:55):
I saw you do that, and I said, I know
what I'm getting Valentine Day. Now bank you ate it?
Now to eat it? You ate it? You look when

(35:22):
when you do eat this, what part do you start with?
What are you talking about? We had Terrell Owens over
here right we were talking about the situation. He said
the only thing he didn't like was he felt like
that you put your kids on camera. And I told him,
I said, I think he even did that to make
sure that he was treated fairly. Yeah, so why did

(35:45):
you do that for any reason? I just think at
that time, you know, I'm really emotional, and obviously I
was in an unfortunate situation with my girl, and uh,
you know the police wasn't you know, acting the correy.
So no, for me, obviously you want to you're a
good example for your kids, and I don't feel good
in no way to act in that manner in front
of them. Or you know, you're good, right, you made

(36:07):
it with your Yeah, yeah, yeah, we're good. Everything is good.
You know, we fight like that, but we gotta do
better for our kids independing and together leave. But you know,
everyone make speculations. Man. I got a beautiful relationship with
my kids, all of them. They all live with me
in Miami. So you know, I just regret that moment,
being on the respecting the police on camera, having the

(36:31):
kids to be there to witness. But you know, just
a human being emotional. Man. Anytime you emotional, someone trying
to take your stuff, what you work for, and the
police they're supposed to be to support you. And now
a lot of that happened you know, I kind of
acted frustrated. What do you think the NFL needs to
do as far as helping you or even other players

(36:51):
that are going through things in their personal life and
it's affecting business. Well, I think they just got to
really show the support to help you. You know, don't
don't just say they're gonna help. It's been like one
hundred and forty days. You know, my agent already gave
up on me, and yeah, run to the media to
tell people who don't work with me. So you know,
you just see when you're down and out, like, you know,

(37:12):
who really there for you? I think that was the
I think that has really been one of the main
reasons that so many doors are closed on you. That
your agent put that out there. Nah, but you know,
in actuality, we never really was under any contract or
nothing on paper. So for me and encouraging me to,
you know, the want to show people, you know, my side,
because you know, public perception seems to be everything. You know,

(37:34):
people write these stories and put negative things out there
about me. You know, I can't write the stories to
protect myself for the change the narrative. You know, I'm
just the presson to sit back and deal with the
consequences of what been put out. So for me, you know,
it's unfair because you know, no matter if it's right
or wrong, as long as it's out, people can deem
me for it, and I have to come and advocate

(37:57):
to try to protect myself in the regards of it.
So you know, that's why I'm grateful to be here
with you guys to do the interview and communicate a
lot of people. To know, control your own art exactly.
We have more with wide receiver Antonio Brown when we
come back. Don't move. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning morning.
Everybody is DJ Envy Angela Yee. Charlomagne, the guy we

(38:17):
are the Breakfast Club is still kicking it with wide
receiver Antonio Brown. Charlomagne, how do you feel about your
former agent Drew Rosenhouse. He recently parted ways with you man,
Drew Rosenhouse. You know he took advantage of a lot
of you know, guys from Miami and a lot of
guys from situations like me, and you just see at

(38:38):
the end of the tunnel, you know he's usually not there.
You know, guys like to real owen Fred Taylor chat
at your sink. A lot of great guys who you know,
come from our areas, other areas. You know, after the career,
you don't see him doing anything to rere Owen's. You know,
the guy got no money, went down their own path.
Still ain't in a good position. Actually should so when

(39:00):
I study the game and the history of players who
paved the way and did a good job in the
league with their careers and Hall of Fame type guys,
you know, you see them, they're working on sports show.
You know, that's all they doing. They don't seem to
me that like maybe a few of them like Dion
Centers and him maybe micro scrap. But besides a few

(39:20):
guys that we could probably hand count. You know, they've
been good on the field, but off the field, they
would come back regular Like I respect here. I think
he could have done more sustain them and keep him
on floating to do. That's what I'm doing right now,
you know, a whole lot of money, million screens. You know,
I'm just creating a lot of avenues. Though. You know,
I got a gym in Miami, eighty four seven fitness.

(39:41):
So he's trying to you know, establish a legacy, and
you know, somebody could provide to the youth to give
back that last forever. Why don't why don't more black
people talk out against God? If y'all don't say something,
and you can continue to take advantage of young girls
because these guys aren't in position to the position that
I am. You know, guys like to ro always. You know,
they don't have the financial freedom to be able to

(40:04):
say the truth or I think he got an agreement
with Drew Rosenhouse where he can't even speak out about
the facts. So it just you know, these guys being
manipulated from their finances, manipulated in their position, so they
do the code with the mouth. I'm just being grateful
and I'm at a different position. Now, let's talk about music.
You know what, what's what's your love for music? Why

(40:24):
are you get into the music industry? Why are you
always you know I had love for music, and you're
not being able to play. You know, I wanted someone
to be able to express my art and get my
emotion and my feelings out. So one of my boys,
Sean Kingston, come over my house a lot and we
just started getting it going. And you know, I've been
doing every since I listened to one record. We played
one record here and I was actually was like it

(40:45):
wasn't bad. A whole lot of money. But you know,
I'm be honest with y'all, just expecting it to be
whacked just because you're an athlete and you see athletes
do music and you're like, oh man, you know, but
I'm Himothy though, you know, like Himothy? Yeah, I mean
I'm that boy Himothy times you heard that's something like

(41:09):
a b you got you yea? Who was Himothy? Me?
That means like I'm him like you? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
yeah yeah. You think the createst people in America come
from Florida? Yeah, you gotta, you gotta, because it's like,
you know, it's a jungle. So Antonio, we know you've
been in the news a lot lately for mostly negative

(41:30):
things in some open cases. How many open cases do
you have? I don't even know that many do you have?
Like your lawyer is doing good or in one of them,
one of your cases, the lawyer stepped away right now,
she didn't step away. Just you know, when people holding
your money, you know, you get these lawyers two and
three hundred thousands, and it's no pleading, it's no it's

(41:52):
out of stand still and it's like they just hold
the money. I'm glad you said that because people think
losing your counsel in the middle of the of the
allegation it makes you look look guilty. No, there's there's
no case to no proceeding. There is none. It's just
you know, why would I have a lawyer just sitting
on two hundred thousand with no proceeding so they could
just tell me, Hey, aby, I ran up the time
and the money's gone. Did you watch the XFL games?

(42:15):
I don't really watch, you know, lord class football. But
if they don't, definitely know because he was a lord
class football player, you weren't curious to see what the
games were like. Support XFL man, like if it ain't
the highest level, man, I don't want to do. If
the NFL decides, you know what, we won't take it back. No,

(42:36):
I'm not playing XFL man. You had a conversation with
John Gruten recently, right, how you know that man? With
Charlotte Man, you'd be getting the homework. I'm just asking
how did that go? I think John Gruden was always
one of my big supporters. When I play with the Raiders,
we always did talk. But like, man, you was dynamic
this day, but this day you was emotional. But you know,
it just coming being in a new new places. You know,

(43:00):
I think if it was it happened to be a
second chance when I'm I look forward to it, you
think it's gonna happen? How likely that y'all talk about that?
You know, first I gotta first, I gotta remove all
the cases. You know, get a life coach, you know,
try to win over a coach in the NFL, have him,
try to win over the junior manager, and to have
the junior manager be able to tell the owner he

(43:20):
support a b And now that's kind of the process
and the steps of how I could get back, you know,
removing all of the cases, you know, getting with a
life coach and uh hopefully influencing one of the coaches
and junior managers and one of the owners give me
an opportunity. We ain't got time of all. I'll let
you you're not a young man. It's got to happen

(43:40):
sooner than later. They got five weeks, man, five weeks
is when free agency starts, so that's one of the
process for the years starts. So we'll see h where
they atte like you just didn't want to play in
the NFL anymore. No, I think I always wanted to play.
I just think the things that you gotta deal with
with playing is the things that kind of make you
run away from the NFL. Owners can't fall in lower players.

(44:03):
You know, it's a business when you kind of understand
the rules. You know, imagine, you know you've been in
a quarter the receiver. You gotta depend on the quarterback.
Quarterback never invite you over Year's house. You never really cheat.
You like a human being, so normally, naturally as a
human you're gonna be a resentment after a while. You know,
those resentments you know usually turned the anger and then
your anger, you know, turned to your frustration. Then now

(44:25):
you react in the wrong way. That will happened with
Big Ben. Yeah, Connor, that's what made you apologize to
him yesterday, because I'm like through it all, you know,
no matter if someone did negative or positive, you know,
I'm in control of my actions, you know, so I
gotta look at it. Even though this person in that way,
what could I have done? You know a lot of
things they might he might have did wrong, But I
can't make the excuses of or what I did. You know,

(44:47):
so I think I could have handled myself better right
at the time out of the motion, I just did
what I thought was right. So when he wouldn't invite
you over to his house for dinner and wouldn't hang
out with you, that's what mean you said, it's more races,
you know, you called them racist. I'm just trying to
put the people out. It was. It was a lot more,
you know, that was you know, into it. You know,
I think like what apogized for it, like as a

(45:12):
leader with Big Ben. You know, he already won championships,
he already done it. You know what everybody want to
do as a player. You know, every every player want
to win. You know. So for me, it ain't about
a personal relationship because you ain't got to be my friend.
You know, I'm familiar with just coming to working and
just doing my job. But you know it's another thing.
One people act like that your friend and it's really not.

(45:33):
You know, that's that's when you have an issue. So
he was acting like he was your friend. Yeah, I
think I think it was all act with him. You know,
guys around him, you know, they didn't never really see
out of eye. But you know, I just feel like
I'm at the point where, man, I'm trying to win.
You know, I'm getting older in the game, ten years
in and I'm like, man, you know what it takes
to win, man, just help us win. Do what it
takes the you know, bring bringing the guys around and

(45:55):
shows how to win. What made you call him racist though,
because you're from Florida, so you be around practice when
you call the white man race as you see some
baby now, I just think out of emotion, you know.
But all in a man, I'm father grateful for bat Man.
What being able to do in the NFL the last
ten years so unparalleled to none. All Right, we got

(46:16):
more with Antonio Brown when we come back. Don't move.
It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning morning. Everybody is DJ
Envy Angela Yee, Charlomagne, the guy we are the Breakfast
Club is still kicking it with wide receiver Antonio Brown, Charlemagne.
But you man, Juju Smith, you know you took some
shots at him on social media and he said like
that ain't be with my guy. Like, no, no, what

(46:36):
I came from, I never to I never took enough
shots at the kid like him personally. Let's like, if
Charlotte Man, you get a new job at another radio
station and DJ Envy, um, you know, you post a
picture with DJ Envy in the back of you saying
you ready. You know what I mean? That might have crazy?
That sound crazy? Know what I'm saying. Every How would
you take that? Envy? How would you take that? That

(46:57):
was that direspected? Respectful? Exactly this exactly so close behind
him standing he's standing like you know right there, so
listen he should have had if he should have had
it in his head. So he posts a picture when
I leave and get a new contract with the Raiders,

(47:18):
he posts a picture of him scoring on the Raiders
with me in the back like open, saying like he ready.
So all I said was I was just calling him
back out. They gave him MVP of the team the
year I had fifteen touchdown and and so I'm like, okay,
let's just you know, a sports competitors, Let's see if
you could you could be who I get it, who
I am. So then the guy get five hundred yards

(47:40):
and then I say, bro, you got five hundred yards.
It was a joke. I came out to him for football.
I didn't come out to him for personal. Have y'all
spoke at all? You pick up the phone and reach
out to him. Yeah, yeah, we we taught. Man, we
were starting to just hash it out. On a positive note.
I think, you know, people just do stuff online, you know,
I think online just can hype it up to Yeah,

(48:01):
they just that's that's what it is. People. Well, people
say the thing think about you lately on Instagram because
what I'm saying, I've just been showing like the reality.
I just I just got a lot of free time
bank account. Yeah, to let people know I'm not a
broke player. A lot of these players said they got
money like certain guys, and then they like, bro, you
on TV talking about me Like Roens are good friends

(48:23):
of mine. But it's like he coming at my house
and try to give me speeches. I'm like, bro, we
what I'm listening to you on? Like? You like if
you you know what I mean? If you don't get
if you ain't listen to yourself, Like how I'm gonna
take your advice? Well, maybe he made mistakes and he's like, look, yeah,
but guys, guys these days aren't good leaders. Man. Most
of these guys won't even show you their mistakes. Man,
you gotta already be knowledgeable about these guys already. Man.

(48:46):
Most people hiding their scars and can't even like say
the reality or what they've been through or what they did,
because if they cannot, we would already saw it already.
Who could you listen to? Like? Who do you feel
like there's somebody that talks to you that you're like, Okay,
I'll take advice from that person. I got some good
people on my corner. Now you know, they probably want
to rather me say their name. But you got to

(49:06):
have good people to talk to. That's why I talk
with the therapists as well. You know, someone who could
be receptive and not trying to social gain or do
something for cloud or take something from you, and that
support your mental health. You know, mental health is not
just you know, you know, having an issue or having
a frustration of anger, you know, just talking to people
that support your well being and people that just not

(49:29):
want to take and make something from you. I'm glad
that you say that because you know, especially coming from
you know, the environment you come from, you probably got
trauma to just from the hood that you didn't deal with.
Now you get into the NFL and you get all
of this money. Now you got to deal with all
of it. It's like a lot of un trauma to unpack,
you know. And I think we're comfortable dealing with trauma,
you know, because I'm having so much trauma. It's not normal,

(49:49):
not normal. For we deal with kill people get shot
like that ain't normal, but that would come out normal.
Were from those areas, you know, no matter how much
money we get or how far we go or where
we get, you know, we always baked some planning on
the soil where we're from. Back in twenty sixteen, Yeah,
you got a hit. You got hit by Vonta's perfect
Oh yeah, and it gave you a concussion. Yeah, you

(50:11):
think that that had any lasting impact? Man? I think
if you play the game long enough, you're gonna get
your ass kicked, or you're gonna get hit. I haven't
been hit like enough for those type of hits. You know,
I played ten years. One big hit wasn't that bad.
I don't know why people want to just you know,
always ask me about to hit like because they feel
like after that hit, the behavior started to get scrange.

(50:32):
And you know, people like to say, I think you
might have after that hit. They made me the highest
paid receiver in twenty seventeen. That still just gave me
five for seventy seventy ones. Like it's like facts. So
it's like I think people just be trying to find
anything and like pinpoint that I got the issues. Man,
I just told the whole NFL in the world I
needed thirty meal guaranteed or alwaysn't gonna play. I went

(50:53):
on the HBO show with Lebron Jays and scretched that
I got the thirty millions that and you lost it.
You know what I'm saying. But that wasn't the like
a troll, you know. I went and did what I
say now, I say, you I ain't need it. I
told you I wanted it. I went and got it.
They made a rule. Then I went to the Patriots.
I was gonna go for like two thousand yards and
then they didn't want to see it. They got rid
of me for who say, She say, you know, I

(51:15):
didn't really know you could lose your job off. He says,
she say, yeah, it's like, man, the k just on pause,
you know. And I got a confidentiality that I had
to sign in March. You know that I couldn't even
defend myself. You know, this is a trade A trainer,
girl who used to stay over my house, who used
to take me the gymnastis I was to trade who

(51:36):
wanted me to invest in her business. But you know,
the NFL no information. But you know I can't really
I can't even defend myself, like you know what I'm saying,
Like imagine that. You know what I mean? You see
the world just scrutinize you, and you can't even defend yourself.
And you don't even have no one out there advocating
for your well being. You know, what about the hundred
thousand and give to the hospital, what about the kids

(51:57):
in Liberty City? What about You know I missed not
a guy from Literalty City. You know, I'm like the
hero from Livery City. You know, do you regret texting
her after the film? Man? Like, imagine you know someone
envy like you, you took care of them? Like and
then as the side part is at my charity baseball
game in Pittsburgh, the young lady who on the assault,
she meets the same girl at the charity event who

(52:21):
said the same thing. So It's like it's already illegal.
You can't reach out to someone else's council to try
to bring them on board of your movement to bring
me down. So that's illegal in itself. You know that's
distortion or you know, you know, no one want to
seem to protect the guy who who seemed like they're
in the best position of life. You know, people want

(52:42):
to really bring you down. Do you hear these people
saying things like, oh, Antonio Brown might have CT have
you going and got checked? Got your brain checked? Anything?
I mean, you can't check until you die, you know.
So I'm sure everyone who playing football got some farm act.
How much personal accountability is Antonio Brown take for everything
that's happened to him over the past yea, so I
take I take full responsibility. You know, I'm a guy

(53:04):
in this position. I'm the guys in this shoes. You
know I put my heart, you know, my right under
my heart, my foot on the ground, and my attention set.
You know, I take four responsibility. You got the chuck
with sen in my heart? My goodness, way, that's good.
I'm glad to hear you say that, man, because a
lot of people can't take take personal County. That's what
being a man, and that's what being a right human

(53:25):
being is about, you know, growing and it's just a
part of my growth. You know, we've all been through
things that encourage our growth and make us better person.
Hopefully this will make me a better person, skoger person,
and I appreciate all my blessing move for So you're
going to therapy, you're taking personal accountability. You're still in shape. Yeah,
this up by going on Instagram and saying from wild

(53:46):
in the next week or so. Okay, you got five weeks?
All right, my goodness. Well, we appreciate you join us.
Introduce your record. Man, let let's play your record. And
it's a turning a brow right here on the Breface
Club just gave a bag of out. Man. I got
a whole lot of money as was man. This, Uh
what do you get for Valentine's there? If you're giving
out bagg Yeah, man, I'm taking my girls somewhere now

(54:06):
you're taking them. It's a whole weekend. The girl is
your ex. You guys are back together versus somebody different.
Oh no, it's complicated. Wow, you're about to be cursing.
You seen your shot people on social who I shot

(54:27):
my shot. But then we see so when you spend
you went out of time for Valentine's with your bay.
Yeah damn. Did your baby mama know that? You just
find out just now? Now, my baby mama, my ba,
why are you being noticed? My goodness, it's the Breakfast Club.

(54:49):
Good morning morning. Everybody is dj M v Angela, Yee,
Charlemagne all the Breakfast Club. Now shout to Jillian Chocolate berries.
They just dropped off for a nice package for my kids,
my daughter, some fresh strawberries and chocolate macaroons looking like unicorns,

(55:12):
which is my daughter's favorite animals. She loves unicorns. She
was very excited. She was very excited. FaceTime. Not gonna
salute Antonio Brown. Antonio Brown came up here and bought
a bought a very thoughtful Valentine's Day gift this morning.
Let you give Booty Brown yess like you don't know
you got one. Give you a chocolate penis. And he
gave me a chocolate penis. And when you opened the
box up and says edo D the thought that counts.

(55:35):
That counts. Okay, Well, thank you also for my present
as well. Okay, they got me some macaroons and some
chocolate covered strawberries that are gold and silver for chocol times.
They thank you and thank you to Sean as well.
All right, well let's get to the room as let's
talk Wendy Williams. Listen, Oh, go go, it's report breakfast club. Well,

(56:00):
people are upset about Wendy Williams and making these comments.
They were talking about Galantine's Day. What's that? It's a
holiday that was created by Parks and Recreation as a
ladies celebrating ladies. So she asked who was going to
be celebrating Galantine's Day. And that's when some gay men
started clapping. And here's what she said. Clap if you're
participating in Galantine's Day. Well, first of all, if you're

(56:24):
a man and you're clapping, you're not even a part
of this. Okay, I don't care if you're gay. You
don't get a MENSI Every twenty eight days, I get
offended by the idea that we go through something you
will never go through. And stop wearing our skirts on
our heels. He'll never get them in a plause. But
look at here now, gay man, you'll never be the

(56:46):
woman that we are. Damn, what she gave him that
type with tongue. Actually, what did they do? Stop wearing
our skirts and hills? So geez. A lot of people
were going in on her over that they called They
called a gay men sis. Sometime they say, Sis, why
can't a gay single man participating in Gallantine's day? And
why can't you wear whatever you decide you want to wear?

(57:08):
If you want to wear skirting heels, Hey, I mean
she's right about you want to be in that pain
of wearing heels and the uncomfortability of it, just like
we are, go right ahead. I mean, she's right about
the whole period in menopause stuff. But what they did
they have to do with anything, I don't know. I'm
not sure Jesus. All right, Rihanna is in the studio.
She posted on her Instagram stories gang back in the

(57:29):
stew and you could see the Neptunes on the screen
in the studio. So it looks like she's working on
some new music with the neptune. No, she might have
just been visiting passing through. I'm sure she was working
on some music. But she said back in the stew
so that means she's back in the studio. It makes
a lot of money. You know what she does like
that Finty Beauty brand is worth like a half of
billy and she owns like for I ain't gon live

(57:50):
if I was either music a scoff at music. But
maybe that's her first love and that's not all it's about.
If you love making music. She got performing. She got
eight albums, right, eight or ten. She's done enough. She
could just chill outs. She's in the studio, guys. So
that's what it is, alright. Gil King has accepted Snoop

(58:12):
Dogg's apology. We played this apology that Snoop made yesterday
because his mom told them two wrongs don't make it right.
Gil King, I probably joined you down by coming at
you in the bogatory matter based off of emotions me
being angry and questions that you asked. I should have
handled it way different than that. I was ways way
better than that. So I would like to apologize to you,

(58:32):
probably more the language that I use and calling you
out of your name and just being disrespectful anytime you
mess up. It's okay to fix it, it's okay to
man iver say that you walt. I apologize. Hopefully we
can sit down and talk privately, all right, gil King responded,
I accept the apology and understand the raw emotions caused
by this tragic loss. I'm deeply sorry that questions I

(58:54):
asked added to that pain. That was never my intention.
As a journalist, it is sometimes challenging to balance doing
my job with the emotions and feelings during difficult times.
I don't always get it perfect, but I'm constantly striving
to do it with compassion and integrity. Yeah, I respected
Gale offended people, she apologized. Snoop offended people he apologized.
The worst part about this whole situation to me is

(59:14):
the original discussion is lost. I don't even think we
even got to have the original discussion about journalism and
how soon it's too soul and should those things even
be talked about. But you know, it's always a difference
of opinion. Some people feel like, as a journalist, you
put aside emotions, and some people feel like, no, you
have to respect what's going on in the history of
accusations and allegations. So yeah, I agree, but it's a

(59:37):
difference of opinion. That's why I wish you'd have had
that discussion. That discussion I got lost amongst all of
this all right. Now, Jada Kiss has shared some details
about something I know we all want to see, the
upcoming Lock's documentary. It was an interview he did at
the Rock Nation brunch and he opened up a little
bit about it. So he said that he said that

(59:58):
it was originally filmed a twenty eighteen and it's still
not out, but he does want the world to see
a more human side to them. He said, it's about
showing people some side of the Locks you never get
to see. You only know us as rappers. But it
shows stories of fatherhood with our children and family moments
and things that you see off stage. So should be
interesting to check out that new documentary. All right, I'm

(01:00:19):
Angela Yee and that is your rumor report. All right,
thank you, miss Yee. Now when we come back, Charlemagne,
you're given donkey to daya who on this Valentine's Day? Man.
You know it's crazy, man, You know it's crazy when
you just be out here, you know, putting out positive
energy and trying to be here for people, and you
have people who hate on that. You know, it's people
who actually hate on me because I choose to celebrate

(01:00:43):
those who participate in this day that we call Valentine's Day,
but they call SAD, which is Single Awareness Day. We'll
talk about it for after the hour. I just can't
believe y'all mad at me because I'm here for the
less fortunate. Oh all right, we'll do that when we
come back, and the next hour also fifty cent will
be joining us. It's the breakfast Local morning. It don't
be a dusty because right now you want some real

(01:01:06):
It's time for Donkey of the day. So if we
ever feel I need to be a donky man with
the heat, did she get I had become Donkey of
the day the breakfast club bitching um um um dunk
ye today for Friday, February fourteenth, Valentine's Day, twenty twenty.

(01:01:29):
Today's dunk here today goes to everyone who gets mad
at me every year, because on today I don't just
celebrate folks like myself. Uh, folks like Envy, you know,
who are married and in relationships with their soul mates. Uh,
folks like myself who have women. We can't live without
women who when I look at I see God who
make me better and every way shaping for him. Uh No,

(01:01:51):
I just don't think about how good I got it. Okay,
I don't think about how good we got it. Okay.
On Valentine's Day, I think about the less fortunate, all
the folks who warn't in relationships. Okay, People mad at
me calling me a hater because I choose to celebrate
the folks who are single. Hey, listen to one of
the callers from this one and listen. Use a hater

(01:02:12):
every years? Why are you upset if you're not single?
But it's just bad? You are such a hate? Why
am I a hater because I choose the acknowledge a
single folks? Why am I a hater because I choose
the acknowledge that today is National Single Awareness Day the

(01:02:35):
acronym for Single Awareness Day. It's sad. So when I
say to you, today is sad, don't think I'm talking
about your feelings. Don't think I'm talking about your emotions.
This has nothing to do with the state of mind
that being single can have you in. For everyone listening
to me in the car right now, you have no Valentine.
Don't worry about it. Your seatbelt will hold you. I
ain't gonna hold you, Okay, literally, all figuratively meaning I'm

(01:02:57):
not gonna hold you and waste your time. And I'm
not gonna hold you because black men don't cheat. All right,
don't tell me I'm a hate it because I'm thinking
about how Valentine's there is one of the most unwelcome
days of the year for half of the population of
the universe that Thanos would have snapped. Some people are
forever alone, you know, some people instead of being single
as fresh I can still smell your ex on you.
In fact, it's a good chance you're also freshly broke

(01:03:18):
up that you know they may still be trying to
be your Valentine's right now. Trust me, if you're freshly
single and you're holding out hope that y'all may get
back together, if he or she doesn't show up today
with an oversized stuff animal or a bunch of red roses,
then it's probably over, over done, done, finished, And that's fine.
And I know, I know you can get your own candy.
You hate balloons, flowers die, I get it. Everybody hates

(01:03:41):
Valentine's Day stuff. But the funny thing is the people
who hate Valentine's Day stuff are usually the people who
are in healthy relationships who receive that kind of stuff
all of the time, so they kind of like take
it for granted. If you have to, you know, be
one of the folks celebrating sad single Awareness Day. Then
you realize, man, all that stuff you didn't appreciate, you

(01:04:02):
show which you had somebody, they hate it all with.
Today It's okay, it's okay. My therapist tells me all
the time that you have to feel it feels, so
don't be afraid to embrace that feeling of loneliness. You
are human. Of course you want a companion, a human companion,
not one of those creatures formerly called pet. Salute to Peter, Right, Steve,

(01:04:22):
you don't want to just be look at Oh Steve,
I'm sorry. I know that hurt. I know that hurts, Steve,
I know it did. Okay, you want a human Okay,
I know you want something with an arm leg leg
arm head that you can call your own. All praises
do to a lot, and that's exactly who you should
have been praying to, because if you did, then you
wouldn't be in the solentary Valentine's Day situation that you're

(01:04:44):
in right now. I'm not single shaming you, though, I'm
here for you. Okay, Seeing radio They teach us that
radio personalities are your friends when you don't have any,
your companions when you're a boy yourself. So if that
logic is true, we have to be You're Valentine when
you don't have one, and that's what we are here for.
All of you celebrating Valentine's Day with nobody. We are

(01:05:06):
here for you. We want the best for you. We
don't want you to be angry and been on today
because energy has never lost to destroyed, just merely transfer
from one party to the next. And some of y'all
out there upset thinking about how to ruin someone else's
Valentine's Day because you don't have anyone to celebrate it with,
and we don't want that. Don't be like Rufe Phoenix.
Do you know who Rufe Phoenix is? No, me neither,

(01:05:28):
but I know I saved one of her tweets to
use it as an example of what you don't want
to do. On January twenty four, twenty fourth, twenty fifteen,
Rufe Phoenix tweeted out, can't wait until Valentine's Day. I'm
gonna run into as many restaurants as I can, shouting no,
I would find you here you bathward then run out.
Don't do that. Don't be like Rufe. Okay, there's that's

(01:05:50):
no way to celebrate sad Single Awareness Day. And please
don't have the energy of Robin McCully, who on March
fift twenty fourteen, tweeted out saw a couple holding hands
all jogging and it made me hopeful that one day
I will meet someone who will hate them with me.
Don't be like robbing. When you see somebody else who's
blessing in love, you celebrate that because one day, one day,

(01:06:15):
it'll be your turn. Okay. By the way, does anyone
know if ruf Robin ever found somebody? I need to
go on their pages and see, Okay, and I will
as soon as I finished scrolling through my single homegirls
pages and seeing what their life is like. For example,
my family who goes by the name of DJ Coupy
trump on a clues bums to DJ CuPy. She just
posted all the way from Nigeria on her i G

(01:06:35):
page a big pink heart with the words single a F.
You know what AF stands for right single as my brothers,
please go to her i G pages Coupy music. She's
got like four point eight million followers. Please go to
her page and post under that picture and tell her
you will be her Valentine's Please and tell her I
sent you. All right. I can't stand to see her

(01:06:56):
like this. I went on her page and my first
reaction was to leave laughing emoji because I thought it
was hilarious. But then I left a broken heart emoji
because I felt my sister's pain. It's rough, man, today
is rough. Have you ever tried sleeping with a broken heart? Seriously,
you can turn it down a little bit, drum, it's
turn it down a little bit. No, seriously, have you

(01:07:17):
ever tried sleeping with a broken heart. It's not a
good feeling. It's worse than heartburn. And it hurts my
feelings that you have to feel that today. Okay, I
need you to have strength on sad Okay, single awareness day.
I need you to have strength. A matter of fact,
look in the mirror and say to yourself right now,
me myself and I Okay, that's all you got in

(01:07:43):
the end. Okay, today, today you got to be your
own best friend. No, seriously, stop, stop, drop stop. I
don't stop because I have empathy with these people. I
really do, all right, I don't want them to think
that they're alone today because you have us to breakfast club.
All right, now, you only got to tell ten am.
Keep that in mind, okay. I mean you can hit

(01:08:04):
us up on social media after that, but we probably
won't see it today because I have a wife and
maybe your other wife. You got a boyfriend. Okay. We
love our people dearly, and when you have someone you
love dearly on Valentine's Day, well you know I don't
need for me to rub it in, okay, because I
can see the tears welling up in your eyes. But
I need you, I right to tell yourself that you're
not gonna cry. Whoa, You're not gonna shed no tears. No,

(01:08:32):
it's not the time. He or she is not worth
your tears. Okay, it's not the time. All right. Look
all your folks stop, stop drum. You're doing too much.
I can't even believe you would do that. Look all
you folks who think I'm hating on single people, stop it.
I am not. I am providing support. And if you
are mad at the support that I provide on sad
with your single awareness Day, then I have to hit

(01:08:52):
you with the sweet sounds in the handle tones. Oh
now you are. Oh the day, oh the day. Ye

(01:09:13):
I'm trying not to be petty, but I have to
just say one more thing. I do have to tell
everyone out there with no Valentine the reality of the situation.
It's a few things that you should know, really, not
a few things, just just three. Number one, if you're
a woman, Sierra's prayer didn't work. Number two, if you're
a man, Russell Wilson's prayer didn't work, okay, And number three,

(01:09:35):
we are acknowledging you on sad with your single awareness day.
And even though I am with you now and tell
about ten am, I can't be with you all day.
And it pains me to tell you this harsh truth,
but you need to hear this. If she's take your
lonely now, oh my goodness, Oh it really hurts. I

(01:10:02):
have to tell you this every year, it really does.
But you can't argue with reality, all right, And that
is just the reality of the situation. It's early right now,
You're just getting up. People are up and about, hustling
and bustling you at work. To out the day. People
go start getting flowers and balloons and all types of stuff.
Then you realize you gotta go home and it's five
o'clock traffic. So he's feel like a lot of people

(01:10:23):
with you before when you're getting that goddamn house and
take that bros. And you take them boxes off and
put on the basketball shots. Whoa, whoa. That's all I'm saying.
It can be rough. Stayoff Instagram. So all, I'm gonna
tell you have a blessed day. Thank you today. Everybody
out there who's being patient until the right person comes up,

(01:10:45):
I can see the comments now. At least I'm happy.
I don't like Valentine's Day anyway. You know, you can't
be happy and be single. You can't. You can't. I'm
spreading love to all of my single people out there
who are listening. Y'all, don't feel pressured just to be
in a relationship just because it's Valentine's Day or everybody
else's has negative things to say about that. To be

(01:11:08):
patient and wait till you find the rights of her room. Yes,
but you gotta boodo. You got all right. She's telling
y'all all that, but she got no. I'm just spreading love.
If I'm happy, I'm gonna spread love to I'm spreading
love to we're here for y'all. Up next, fifty set
us up next, We're gonna kick him with fifties. Don't move.

(01:11:29):
It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, So sorry the Breakfast Club.
Everybody is DJ MV and Ula Yee Scholomagne the guy.
We are the Breakfast Club. We got a special guest
in the building. Ye good morning is positivity. Now apologize
for making you wait too. Man, listen to up a

(01:11:49):
boxing matter between me r and there. I'm tired and
they talking to me crazy, talking crazy if he used
to talking to these fat ass DJs and program directors.
And I know we had you waiting, but are you
gonna come to me talking about why you have a
man with forty five minutes come on beat talking about
it was traffic to it was traffic coming. So set
up the boxing match and they gotta put the gloves on.
I'm ready, I need I need three minutes minutes. That's

(01:12:17):
what that's all we need. Well, first of all, let's
just let's wrap up power now that you're here. Okay,
So you put out a lot of different endings. I
saw that, you know, I always watched the show in
the beginning on Sunday, like super early in the morning,
because I want to make sure I see it, you know,
before at nighttime because I always try to go to
bed early. So was that the ending that you had
always envisioned or did you think, well, maybe we should

(01:12:39):
try that. That was the first plan, like the shot,
like five different endings to it, like everybody actually killing
them in a different Well, it was just because the
possibility of it being leaked and which has happened before. Yeah,
So I was like we had to put that together
that that we would allow that to dictate what was

(01:13:00):
going on. But the ultimately that that led him too,
like the one that we use led to the stories
you didn't see that happens in power book too. And
that's where marriage obliged and met the man and what
a few other people that joint good cast for that.
Where the helly Kenan's ghosts come from? Man, that's the
only like, what did that happen? They need just be

(01:13:22):
talking to the ghosts like that's normal for them to
see ghosts all the time. Yeah, but you know you flashback,
they got that flashback flashback I was a ghost. Yeah,
like everybody that this this was one day the last
five episodes was the same day. So this is like
when people drifted off, they're like, yo, didn't even have
a funeral for ghosts, so it's only that he just
died today. You know, I know you ate it six

(01:13:43):
months to see that right, to see the next part
of it, But there was no It happened the same day,
like the way the concept of writing it. And now
there's four spinoffs. Yeah, four spinoff shows, PowerBook two, the
one we're talking about, Popblic three is raising Canaan think
think Good Fellas because I I have the voice of
a component like uh Radiodo was sunny voice, so I'll

(01:14:05):
be playing you hear my voice during the show at
different points of that one and then um time, well
yeah it's influenced. That's that's Lawrenz tates that that that
that one episode Lorenz did with his brother, and that
made me I'm like, I would like I would like
to see more on that story. And that one is
like like House of Cards, like because it starts to

(01:14:26):
get off a little more politics, but you already see
what kind of person Congressman Taate is. He'll do whatever
you gotta do, Like on the street side, how do
you put it out. How you put it all out
on one time? Or does you you know one Power
Book comes out of this month and this one come
out next year? How do how do you release those?
Theoko come on right where power would come on that,
so like summer, that'll be there, and then by the

(01:14:49):
next season you'll be seeing PowerBook three and then that
order so Popblic four, then Lorenz Tate, and then you'll
see the Timmy show. You own Starge, no but very
how much? What do you got fifth? I know you
got to have that. I don't know any but dude,
they're paying me enough enough for me to be happy
with it. I love seeing you talk to white people
crazy like I'm not even joking. I just don't know

(01:15:12):
how you get away, but I love it. He said
you went and away white, and exactly did you get away?
I'm a rapper. I'm a rapper. I get Sarce to
use the rapper card when they do. You know, as
soon as things go wrong, they go rapper fifty cent
between times they'd be like hip hop mogul, right right right, Well,

(01:15:35):
congratulations on your star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
About that was that was fun? Look I was anticipating
that one, Like you know the War shows, it's usually
you know, you you nominated, and you see whether you're
gonna get it or not. And a lot of the
guys that I appreciate don't even have that start yet,
don't have a star on the Walk of Fame. But
when they when they told me it was gonna do it,

(01:15:55):
I was like, okay, cool. And then it got got
really exciting when everybody was there, Yeah, doctor Drew, Yeah, yeah,
all these guys that worked with me in my career.
And then um uh Mary had hit me to congratulate me,
and I was like, yo, I'm nervous, because I still
get nervous. No, I said, I thought I should have
wrote something down now that everybody was there. I should

(01:16:17):
have had like planned it a little bit. And I'm like,
because you don't really get to do that again. Because
I saw you shot out Michael blacks and I was like,
shot out Michael black because I didn't have nothing to do.
You know, that was energy. Look, Michael had like a
big think suit. As I get shout to Michael Blackston,

(01:16:38):
I was all over, you are scattered. Now let's talk
about four. Wait a minute, I want you to cook
clear something up because that I don't like when people
put misinformation out there. I saw French Montana say that
you paid for the start, but once you get nominated,
everybody paid. I was always told, yeah, but the kid
just I don't know what's wrong with that kid, Like
something's wrong with him, you know what I mean, Like

(01:17:00):
it's the drugs. I think it's the drug getting high
and just say stuff because he didn't have to to
say anything. Like a lot of times, look when he's
doing all this with his face and stuff like that,
nobody said I wasn't gonna saying thing. Was he saying something?
You're not the one. They said we got into a
fight and that you beat up him outside of a club.
I didn't him. I didn't punch him, no, right, but

(01:17:20):
you didn't start. You didn't say that. It was just
somehow somebody said it when they saw a little altercation.
They put in The person who posted it said fifty
just punched French mon time right face And I didn't
do that. But he he makes it look crazy like
the all extra stuff made it, you know, just enhanced it.
Or what happened with the Buggatti. I went, look they
tried to play me man, I mean French butt. I

(01:17:42):
knew what har look after I went to man Modis
when we had that problem with Brian on him over there,
he puts up the Buggotti talking about well he had
toilet paper and his little little video and he's talking about,
I gotta be the biggest in New York because you know,
like he said, I got the Bugatti first, got to

(01:18:05):
be the biggest. And he's talking about it's the cars
even the same color as the wrong wrong year, Sharon,
I'm talking about it was twenty twenty Sharon, And he
had a I don't know, but it's Oh he got
an Old eight. If you buy an O eight, man,
it's like seven hundred thousand cars. It's not because you

(01:18:28):
could take think about it, if you took he said,
it's a lot of money. Money, yeah, but that's not
a lot like because if you put three hundred downs.
Now he's still paying like fifty thousand dollars a month,
so that as long as he's doing a show per month,
he's gonna be fine paying for the car. But it's
a bad investment because there ain't gonna be nowhere for

(01:18:50):
you to get rid of it, or they was happy
to get rid of it to him, like they found
the dummy. Didn't want it to have the name Bugatti
in the yard because at eight, what you want with that?
Like that? It was already to guys like his real car,
like he was driving it like a regular car. Now
because it's eight and it's two thousand and twenty. All right,
we got more than fifty cent when we come back.
Let's get into a fifty cent Mini Mix. It's the

(01:19:11):
Breakfast Club. Good morning, No, I love with me, Sam,
Let's go. We can get up and we don't pay.
It's going damn because I'm gonna round sh sick hundreds

(01:19:33):
down down? What up? What up? What up? What up?
Gamet sip? What up? What up? What up? Game st
This day? I walk around like I gotta ask so
much chests now that it invest so much. That was
a fifty cent Mini mix. Fifty is here morning, everybody?

(01:19:54):
We all the Breakfast Club. Ye. Let's flash back to
what you said on Instagram. You said, and I want
you to clarify this because we had a whole discussion
about what you meant by this statement. Right, you said,
I feel like I have to achieve what I went
in life. Now after this, I have to focus. I'm
not arguing with anyone anymore. I'll deal with it another
way if there's a problem. Now, I thought you meant that,
if there's a problem, it's not going to be any

(01:20:15):
back and forth on social media. I'm just gonna, you know,
punch in the face. Okay, So I was wrong. I
thought that you just meant we're gonna just talk it
out behind the scenes, but you are going to punch
about anything you steal with it differently, because I feel
like they turned them into the marketing campaign. Why do
you think people trying you now? I don't know. There
was a point where I don't think people would try you.

(01:20:36):
Why now you know? But I think, well, they go
and they've seen so many other people be recognizable during
those parts that they were attempting that, and then I don't,
I don't even look I think that. And I was
being funny when I said that, I think we could
talk it out. Okay, Yeah, I'd like to talk to me.
And Charlemaie thought, you, man, I'm gonna punch you in

(01:20:56):
the face when that's you, And I thought, light of
everything that's happened, No, more of this back and forth.
I'm not even dabbling in that. A. No, that was
me being competitive and competing because the competitive nature of
hip hop is that like that, you're going to compete,
got to compete and create something that it drives you

(01:21:17):
to go go write something or go do something right away.
You know, it's also records following those things. But when
you're not doing that, you're looking at You're going, why
did you why did you picking that? Like if I'm
talking to Puffy, I'm talking to Puff. Your name is
not Puffy, my name is not Ditty. You know what
I'm saying. He knows how to respond to it. Like
even if once his name his son Quincy, he's casted
in one of the shows, one of your yeah casting,

(01:21:40):
it ain't got nothing to do it part for his
work got him minute. You know he's been working doing
this thing. There's no permanent friends and enemies when it
comes to business, right, No, that's and it's just it's
this is somebody who who worked on it. He ain't
got like that's not I would never not work with
Puffy's kids or anybody around that. Like if we have
the issues issue between me and him and we'll talk

(01:22:02):
about it. Because back in the day, if you stood
by somebody fifth had a problem, if you took look
look na if you go no kids, never and nothing
I'm doing. This is not a big It was a
business situation anyway, upset about and then it's like justin

(01:22:27):
and them, I like, I kind of liked them. Okay,
you know what I'm saying. So it's like, I'm gonna
mess with nobody kids. That's YO. With that slap kids
fifty damn. Would you like when you did that? Yeah?
I did? Yeah I was, but in the house, you
know what I'm Yeah, because I'm looking like what happened?
I'm like, yo, way, you don't know. My eyes were

(01:22:48):
changed too. You did something around that about yea yo,
ye will react sometimes slap nobody, Yo, go too far.
If I tell you the stuff that yeyo called me
ready to do, ready for, you'd be like, yo, please no. Yeah,
but by the way, you can do that if you're
willing to deal with the consequences of what comes with it. Yeah.
Do you like I was saying, do you like being
the bad guy? Do you still like being a villain?

(01:23:10):
I was talking the other choice? No, No, the reason
is I was talking to Granadi of the day, right,
We're just talking about a lot of people don't know
what you do behind the scene, how you help people.
And I mean you didn't pay people's rent, you didn't
help people get out of jail, you didn't support the
people's acting careers, you didn't donate it to funds like
you didn't did so much for people behind the scenes. Yeah,
but they still paint you as the bad guy because

(01:23:31):
all they remember is the argument people to take note
of the things that they're not set for or if
they would ever issue with any type of direct confrontation,
they immediately that impression set so strong on them that
they just focus on that. Like I find the scenes
it's a whole different ball game. I think a lot
of that is the cancering YouTube. Like I'm big on
ask a lot of stuff. I'm a cancer. I think
cancer's got a big heart. But we have that that

(01:23:53):
crab outside because it's the hard and exterior. You know,
as soon as you get uncomfortable, we could quiet. That's
because it's easier for us to deal with whatever it's
going on internally. But I get quiet. So when you
see me when I'm the most uncomfortable. I'm not saying it,
you know what I mean. After I've assessed it and
i know where I'm at and then we're talking about it,

(01:24:15):
it doesn't really mean as much to me. That danger
took you processed it. And once you processed and figure
it out, old boy, So what do you do when
you celebrate your wins like you have for Life that
just came out and debut amazing, It's cool. You know
I had that win two years ago. Yeah, I've been
working on this form for two years. But now everybody's

(01:24:36):
seen it and you've seen how well it's been received, right,
But they're gonna see all the other projects that I
had that was on the line come up now because
the success of that just goes oh and it changes
everyone's perspective. Like for Stars, I could have first looked deal,
so they had to had to pitch that to them
before when they see so now let's see that, and
then like who did that? Who passed? And now you

(01:24:59):
know so now that they haven't passed since that project
got picked up and that was like what like a
year or so, why did you do that project? What? What?
What made you really love that project? Yeah? And it
was like, it's not like one in a million, it's
it's one to one with Isaac Wis type of scenario,
you know. So when I saw it was like, for real,
I'm googling it at the same time while we while

(01:25:20):
he was talking to me because I didn't believe that
it was one. The needy confirmation of it being true,
and I'm like, man, it really happened. I was like, yo,
I just started paying people. He from my hometown, Yeah,
Mont School in South Carolina, who the same high school
was me. I know. Ye, history is that he was
in jail. Yeah. He was like, well, he was sent

(01:25:41):
this for seventy years plus life. The first person convicted
in New Jersey under the king Penn statue were wrongfully
convicted and spent about seven and a half years in
jail before becoming the prison rap studying law, and he
represented other inmates in their cases and was writing briefs
for the lesser attorneys on the outside. There was approach

(01:26:02):
how to approach the cases and then turned it uh.
He created new case law on some of those cases
because he was defending people who were also under the
Kingpin conviction and he worked on that until he got
himself out of jail, like it was crazy. The district attorney,
the police officer that was his arresting officer had progress

(01:26:25):
from being a police officer to being the chief of
police at that point, and he broke down staying told
the truth about what happened, and the district attorney went
on the run and killed himself. Like how you even
learned about that story? Like you got I know, you
got roots to South Carolina. Yea in South Carolina. Okay,

(01:26:46):
in South Carolina, But what's it in? But Isaac, he
came to me through the fight club, through the BX
fight Club, holding them like they they they wanted me
to come to the fight club, but I couldn't because
I had the license in the state of Divida. Because
me and Floyd was talking about the TMT thing heard
and Floyd was like, man, that was my guy. Trib

(01:27:07):
used to guy to to chef cook for him. I
show him mad luck, Like I don't know what happened. Now,
that's still my guy, you know, still my guy. He's
still my guy. Just I tell you, look, look he's Look,
he's used to people being cold, dependent on around, right,
so he'll do things that are extreme and look at

(01:27:27):
you like and and don't expect you to just accept
it because he's Floyd Maywell. Like a lot of people
around him are waiting for him to feel generous and
to just give him something. If you look around, you
don't see any friends or anybody that's around him consistently
that have successful in their own away from you, know
what I mean. So did you talk to eminem about
going back and forth with Nick Kenny? What was that conversation? Like,

(01:27:48):
I was like, Yo, ain't nothing there, like, you know,
because m he'll get hype and go what like He says, like,
like you challenging him and that way because he comes
from that format, the battle format, Like they actually put
him in a space where he's the most comfortable when
they attacked him. He's giving me about six bars. Yeah
go Nick Cannon did that song used to look up

(01:28:09):
to you And he said that was about you. Yeah,
I know that with Nick Cannon, I would never respond,
never look look, the cameras are right. He's legendary corny.
He's been corny forever, like forever, like from the very beginning.
I thought at one point he was headed somewhere. That

(01:28:30):
was like in the will Smith Will smithfish kind of
because it was comedy stuff like that, and then it
just just never got to its destination, like it just
never got cool, Like you got good business if he
did a good job and he did great and drum
linem dope, he did good. I believed him as a drummer.

(01:28:51):
Nick is a great business man. He just the only
thing that makes him look corny is rapping. Yeah, I
don't know why is your passionate about it? Like he's
what the hell? Lord Brook, you sucked, bro, You suck bro.
I'm gonna just tell you true Like this another moment
when you said something and we was like, oh, bars, alright,

(01:29:12):
it's fifty It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club.
I am Charlemagne has this over his shoulder. Luther promised
to be where once a week until the season is over. Yes, Sleuthor,
Michael Rubin, sleuthan Rique santold you love Enrique balloons, Yes,
thank you Enrique again. He got me a Valentine's Day gift,

(01:29:33):
all these balloons. Yes, so we regifted him a Valentine's
Day gift. That ABC Brown left us some good gifts,
my people, Suth, my homegirl, queen, you're not still dropping
a clue box with queen, You're not the long wolf.
She texts me and she said, one day I will
have a man don't play and she said she actually
asked me if the fire card, uh, you know, will

(01:29:55):
she have one one day? And he said to her,
you will have to have someone sent from Allah. Yes,
suited my guy Ron to Ron hit me and he said,
so do bottom supposed to receive a gift gifts today?
I replied back to him, received Mike, duh. Let's get
to the room. And by the way, my mom made
me this morning to let us know that she did
used to get my brother presence on Valentine's Day as well. Okay,

(01:30:16):
so she just wanted to let you know. And she said,
you could get your son like some Red Boxers little
things like that that he could use. Okay, well, let's
get to the room. Let to talk drag. This is
the rum of Report with Angela so Quick Miller on
the five year anniversary of Drake's if you're reading this,

(01:30:37):
It's Too Late album, He reflected on the impact that
album had on his life. Here's what he said. You
know a lot of people have been congratulating me and
sendem messages about five year anniversary of if you're reading this,
and it's pretty much taboo for me to even talk
about it, you know, I pretty much try to act
like it don't even exist. The biggest project of my
entire career, right Unfortunately, you know, I don't have the

(01:30:59):
good memories about it that everybody has. You know, my
good memories were all murdered. You know what I'm saying.
Like the day Nick Mandela, y'all beuhying that bullet since
he came out of jail, like he's whatever, the day
he you know, put my name out there, you know,
and it just blew up my whole spot, everything up
for me, bro, And he's asking that people would take
a chance on him now, he said, everybody wants to

(01:31:21):
kick me to the curb. He said, just give me
the opportunity. Okay. It was very stressful for him, he said, Now,
Meek and Drake your best friends. So what was all
that even for? I can't lie. I watched that video
yesterday and I must admit it was a real tear jerker. Yeah.
I feel bad for him, man, he was in that situation.
He got the bad cool Now Meek, he got beat
up allegedly. This is all on me to make that right.

(01:31:42):
You're talking about reform. You got to reform that relationship
with quinnin Mill. I'm serious, and they don't got to
be best friend. Wasn't even doing nothing business, doing a job,
not doing a great job at his job. Meek, you
gotta make that right. Yeah, that that young man got
thrown under the bus for no damn reason. None, y'all.
You got beat up, he got lost, lost the leg.
That man went through the leg because of that. But

(01:32:04):
I was like, I'm putting it all in the same story.
The story I'm telling it was the leg because of this. No,
Drake bought him a leg. He did, Yes, he did.
Really Drake bought that leg for him. Wow. I mean
from what I was told, I don't know if that's
this guy I did. Somebody did tell me. I'm not
taking sources, but somebody, a very reliable source, told me

(01:32:25):
that Drake actually bought him the lake. So all I'm
saying is, Miek, you gotta do something to make it right.
He said, I love a guy all right. Now. We
TV has confirmed that there is going to be a
reality show with Waka and Tammy. What the flacca? Listen
to this? I love everything about him, even though he
gets on nerves. That's not even funny. Most people get married,
go on honeymoon, they come home to their new life.

(01:32:46):
For us, it's like a war on the contractors, a
run off for my money. Get mad and her fault.
I don't mind being a house She can have an
R and V career, but she's been Mimi. Studio time
can cross artists. I'm worried about this. I'm my world's following.
You don't please love each other, but we definitely argue

(01:33:07):
a lot. All right, So make sure y'all check that
out that is coming to we TV if you want
to see Walking and Tammy. They were on Love and
Hip Hop and now they got their own show. So
I premier is March twelfth, all right. I'm angela yea.
And that's your rumor apartment. For everybody that is trying
to text me today, I left my phone at home.
I apologize, I know everybody. My mom was just hitting

(01:33:27):
me like why didn't you respond? So if you are
texting me, sorry, he's the phone sitting right by you,
I know, but this is my other phone. Nobody has
this number, so I left my main phone at home.
I have this phone for like, but I don't have anyone,
and then no one has it, so no one can
text me on it. All right, well revote. We'll see
you guys on Monday. Everybody else to people's trade mixes
up next. Hey, this is my little baby. Let me

(01:33:49):
know what you want to hear. Eight hundred. That'd be
Valatie's Day. Baby. I thought you said you was playing
a little baby. I thought you were shouting out a
little bit. Now I was like a little baby baby
got hit records and he's sending out plast my little
baby face. Happy birthday, baby, love you, I said, Happy
Valentine's Day, said birthday, birthday. You don't even know your
child's birthday. Happy birthday. You know what? Good by hanging

(01:34:11):
up on you messing me up. I gotta get to
the mix. You just hung about your doist. You gotta
to a prerecorded mix. All you gotta do with presson button.
It's not like you gotta get up and going to
man so down. This is a special mix because this
is a Valentine's Day mix, And I had to everybody
participate on Twitter to tweet out their favorite Valentine's Day songs,
So I want to see how many of those made
it into them. I'm about to do the mix. Now

(01:34:32):
it's breakfast Slogal Morning. Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela, Yee,
Charlotte and the guy. We are the Breakfast Club. It's
Black History Months, So what are we doing today? Listen?
Today's Black History Month moment on this Valentine's Day is
going to Darius Lovehall. You gotta know who Darius love
Hall is, right, especially if you black of a certain age.
Darius Lovehall was a character played by Lorenz Tate in

(01:34:53):
My Wife's second favorite movie of all time, Love Jones.
Let me tell you something. There is a poem called
brother to the Night that all your brothers should learn,
and when you drunk or hide to night on Valentine's Day,
at some point you should repeat it to your significant
of it. If you don't know the words, let's start
to learn them right now. This is a Black History

(01:35:15):
minded moment. Save baby cannot be your slave. I've got
to admit you, and I'm digging you like a grain.

(01:35:39):
Now do they call your daughter to the Spinning posts?
Sar or maybe Queen of two thousand moons, sister to
the distant yet rising star. It's your name, ye mean y'all? Oh,
hell no, it's got to be your shoe? Is that

(01:36:00):
a smile of me? Put on your fish child? Why
it as a field of jasmine? And talk to and
talk Hunter, walk to walk money, how on legs? I
spit your hope? Who are mine? It's not important? But

(01:36:22):
they called me brother to the night. I'm right now.
I'm the blues and your left thought. You're trying to
become a funk of your racers? Who are mine? I'll
be whoever you say, But right now I'm in sight

(01:36:42):
righted Hunter, blindly pursuing you as my prey, and I
just want to give you injections of sublime erections and
get you to dance to my rhythmic. If you dream
archetypes of black angels in flight upon wings, distorted, contorted
METAPHORICI swim, fuck yo, man, I ain't worried about it.

(01:37:08):
You who? I want to step to my sin just
rather than deal with the fallacy of this dry ass
reality A brother dancing romance show, sweet ass on a
wet drain? Who am well? They all call me brother
to the night. And right now, I'm the blues in

(01:37:29):
your left thigh trying to become the funk in your
right Is that all right? That was a Black History
Month moment brought to you by the Breakfast Club. All right, well,
that was a Black History Month moment. That's right, man,

(01:37:50):
Brother to the night, make sure you learn that poem,
and at some time the night, when you're feeling what
it will vibe you on, whether you drunk, whether you
you're going off from because of something, just make sure
you repeat that to her in some way, shape or form,
even if you just repeat the first two lines, Hey baby,
can I be your slave? And then the digging like
the grave part? Heally, I don't know the words I

(01:38:11):
can tell all right when we come back positive notice
the Breakfast Club. Good morning c j Envy Angela Yee,
Charlomagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club now um.
Happy Valentine's Day to everybody out there, of course, my wife,
my mom, my mother in law, my daughters Madison, Brooklyn London,
and my young kings as well, logo dirty all the

(01:38:40):
mob shout out to y'all. I gotta call I got
a lot of them, but happy Valentine's Day to my family. Man, Yes,
Valentie's gonna be driving Barry. I'm really looking forward to
Valentine's only because you know, when you you know, running
around as a parent, you know, and running around as
a father, and in this business, like, the kids are
always home, so you know, everything is about parenting, parenting, parenting, parenting,

(01:39:01):
which is great. But this weekend is about us, me
and the wife, you know. So that's a beautiful thing.
All right. Shout out to everybody going to All Star Weekend. Yep,
I'm adding that here now this weekend too. Jennifer Hudson's
doing a tribute this All Star to Kobe Bryant as well,
so I look forward to hearing that. All right. Well,
Charlot Mayne leave us on a positive note. Listen, man,

(01:39:22):
it's Valentine's Day. The only thing I can tell you, Man,
it's Valentine's Day. But then you got a whole weekend
and it's a holiday weekend. So I just want to
tell you on this Valentine's weekend, on this Valentine's Day,
it's the only day you want to feel the most love, Okay,
So embrace all the good times with your lover, whoever
that may be, unless somebody else's man Breakfast Club. You
wanta finish it, y'all dumb
