Speaker 1 (00:02):
Allow me to introduce my solo DJing Injury, Angela and Charlomagne.
The guys, Well, y'all came a long way. I think
that y'all have a certain amount of respect for you
know what everybody else does, and y'all are just the
best of what y'all do. This platform, the reach y'all
have that you earned, make space for somebody like you
guys have a direct line to the coaches. Oh my god,

(00:24):
I don't want the radio with Alomagne and DJA empty.
All I do is read about the breakfast Club every morning.
Good you guys are trending every you know, I dragged
my ass out of town. I'm like, uh, what happened
to the breakfast club? To that good morning? Usc yo

(00:53):
yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo
yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo
yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo
yo yo yo Good Angela Ye, good money too. Tamby
Charlotmagne The guy piece too up playing It is Tuesday. Yes,
it's Tuesday. Good morning. One day do people count single
to Mayo's It's like a holiday during the week, it's

(01:15):
on Wednesday. It's more fun on the weekend than Mayo.
Sinker to Maya's also our friend the Tina's birthday, Yes,
oh the marl and the teens born day. Sinkle than Mayo.
Nobody cares, but the Tina's family. Let me. Single to
Mayo is a big holiday. When you're doing it's just
like how James Brown, God blessed the dead passed away
on Christmas. Nobody acknowledges that because it's Christmas, but we

(01:35):
go acknowledge, Like I say, yeah, nobody care, butter family
fun birthday to have too if your birthday is on
Sinkle to Maya, because everybody wants to go out anyway. Yeah,
but you think everybody's having a good time because it's
your birthday, But really it's because it's Sincle to Mayo,
you know what I mean, because of the tequila and
the tacold. Everybody's having a good old time because it
think go to Mayo. Do you know what Sinkle to

(01:55):
Mayo's fort? Nope? What is it for a lot of tequila?
That's what I have no idea tell you. Do you
know how it spent? It was like a word that
they fought and they beat the French Empire. Oh okay, Okay,
so it's a victory celebration basically. Yeah, now, Charlomagne, let

(02:17):
me ask you a question, right, No, every morning I
respect my boundaries. My therapists telling me to tell people
to respect my boundaries. I told you no, I'm still
as he asked me. But that's not I gave you
for that's no means no. But I gave him a
full no. He's still going I'm still gonna go. Wow. Okay,
every morning I see you, you're in your car and
you have a mask on. You don't trust yourself? Why
do you have a mask on in your car? Well,

(02:39):
I'm not answering you because I told you no. I'll
answer you when I'm ready. I see him minute, you
gotta man, I'm like, why does he have a mask
on in his car? And he's by himself? And I'm like,
why do you not trust yourself? I told you no,
I'm not answering. I'm you're gonna respect my bond I
will tell you. I'll tell you later. I won't tell you,

(03:01):
but I'll explain later. But I'm not telling you right
now just because you, you know, are forcing me and
I told you no. Yeah, I don't know if you're
you have to wear a mask by yourself. He's not
answering as I talked to you. Didn't you didn't force me?
But no, because I'm pulling up to the building, so
I put the mask on before I jump out the car.
It's not like I'm riding, you know, the whole commuting

(03:22):
with the mask on. I literally put the mask on
when I'm like a block away from the building, just
because I want to jump out, and you know, I
don't run upstairs. I'll see if I'm like, why is
he is mast I'm at the light. I'm literally at
the light right by the buildings. I put the mask on,
and I'm getting ready to jump out and run upstairs,
and uh, you know, log on all right. The best

(03:44):
feeling is when you get in your car and you
can take your mask off after you've been running around
all day, or you walk in the house and you're like, who,
I can only imagine that's how I feel to take
a broth, I can only imagine. I can only imagine.
That's how let's get the show cracking. Ah, Michael cho
will be joining us this one right, Yeah, not in
the studio though, which I don't understand why because he's

(04:06):
in New York. Yeah, comedian Michael che will be joining us.
We'll talk to him a little. Maybe he's filming something,
because you know sometimes when people are filming, they're not
allowed they have to like quarantine themselves. Well, he's filming
us now, but I mean he's still it might be
too then, No, he can be here. You come in
and get checked and in leaves. He told us, Well,
he actually told us why he didn't come in had
nothing to do with that. He thought it was going

(04:27):
He thought that he had to take one too many
COVID deaths. He told me I had to take four
COVID tests to come in the building. Charlotte, heel him,
is that anto swab test? And he was like, you're
passing one little anto swabs and then they use the
same que tip to do your nose and you're good. See, yes,
I would want to come either. All right, Front Page News.
What we're talking about you, Well, yes, everybody is supposed
to get vaccinated, that's what they're hoping for him. I'll

(04:49):
tell you about some new things, some new initiatives are
trying to use to get people to get vaccinated. All right,
we'll get into that put it in a hookah. Everybody.
Everybody will get vaccinated if you put the vaccine in
a hookah. It's the breakfast club. Good morning morning. Everybody
is stage envy, Angela yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are
to breakfast club. Let's get in some front page news.

(05:12):
Where we starting you, Well, let's start with the Seattle Mariner.
Starting Tuesday, they're gonna be offering COVID nineteen vaccines to
eligible fans during the games there. They'll be administered by
Seattle fire personnel, with Virginia Mason providing staff and volunteers
to assist. I guess what you get to choose between
the Fiser or Moderna Maderna or Johnson and Johnson. Oh, Nazi,

(05:35):
you're even fool if you get that, damn Johnson and Johnson. Okay,
if any vaccine that comes with a warning and tells
you that you made your blood clots, I don't think
that you should put that in your body. But I mean,
you know, don't listen to me because I'm not a
vaccinating a lot of people scared of shots and they
just rather take that one shot one time. But I'm
not mad at them doing that. At the baseball game
me because you got to meet people where they are.

(05:55):
You know what I mean? So why not well where
you where you guys are in New Jersey, they're doing
at in a bear program. So you get a free
bear if you get the vaccine a bear or beer?
A beer bear? Said a bear? She did. I'd rather
a bear, to be honest with you, if it's a
well trained bear. No, if it's a well trained bear,

(06:17):
I can like dance or like guard your property. I'll
take a well trained bear. Because there's a lot of
beans just roaming around New Jersey, big black bess. Some
of them walk on their hind lakes. You wouldn't want
a well trained bear. No, No, you're out your damn mind.
As much as you like dogs, are you gonna put
it in the yard control of dogs, like a big
old bed. It's well trained. Come on, but ain't nobody

(06:39):
want up in your house? You got a well trained
bear in the back yard. House. And the New York,
New Jersey and Connecticut and many businesses will be fully
reopening in May May nineteenth. They're gonna be welcome, welcoming
back restaurants, offices, retail stores. Thereis museums, barbershops, amusement parks, everything,
full capacity gyms, all the full capacity, full capacity. I

(07:02):
believe what I see. No people vaccinate it out here
in these streets. I'm not mad at it. I'm not
gonna be out. I'm a homebody anyway, So go ahead
and open up. I'll still be at the health all right.
And the FDA is uthering fiser to give their COVID
nineteen vaccine for twelve to fifteen year olds by early
next week. Do the kids needed you want to go
to school? I mean, if you want to go to

(07:23):
school and I you know, get it and spread it
to your family. Yeah, I don't know about the kids thing.
They're still developing. I don't know. I mean, and then
they say, I mean it's it's COVID has never really
impacted the youth like that right now, A trip, you know.
I think they're young. Yeah, but I think younger kids
are getting it more than everybody else because older people
are vaccinated for the most part, and so and and

(07:45):
kids are going back to school. So you know what
it is like when one of your kids goes to
school and then one other kid in the classroom has
it and the next thing you know everyone has it
and bring it back to an adult in the house. Maybe,
But if I don't have the vaccines and it's not
really affecting the kids, and they don't, don't necessarily the
effects on the kids right now, you know, it's but
the vaccines aren't. People are still catching COVID with the

(08:06):
vaccine or yeah they are. Yeah, it's a it's a
smaller chance that you get it, and if you do
get it, there's less chance that you'll get as sick
or die. Correct. Hey man, whatever y'all got to do
to make things less complicated, do it? Okay, your kids
got to be vaccinated schooling, right for other things. Yeah,
they get other vaccines, but those are these are emergency use.
Those are tested. I mean, these are these are tested also.

(08:27):
But if not as long it's very short term. They
wanted to get us with vaccines, they could have got
us with vaccines a long time ago. I mean, you know,
people get few shots every year. These kids get vaccines
to go to school. When we whenever we travel with
different countries, different countries in Africa, you gotta get a
certain shots. If they wanted to be us with vaccines,
they could have been got us all right, and Thursday
Night Football if you're ready for that, that's gonna be

(08:49):
on Amazon Prime starting in twenty twenty two. So if
you want to watch Thursday Night Football except for on
Thanksgiving and opening game, that's gonna be on Amazon Prime Video.
They announced that yesterday. All right, well that is front
page News. Get it off your chest eight hundred five
eight five one oh five one. If you need to vent,
hit us up right now, phone lines and open. It's
the Breakfast Club. God morning, the Breakfast Club. This is

(09:14):
your time to get it off your chest. Whether you're
man from you on the Breakfast Club, like you got
something on your mind? Hello, who's this? Yeah? Yeah, this
is a film from Dayton. Phil from Dayton. What's up?
Phil from Dayton? Yeah? I was calling me in a
grin with y'all have the one this morning. First off, everybody, alright,

(09:35):
blessed Black and Hilly favorite kings up. Man. I was
calling because acting on this though I heard you talking
about the bear. Oh boy, we'll be back in a
few years ago. I tried to out here they were
letting them go up to six hundred dollars. Man. My
wife looked me like, on c what what kind of
man black bass fun I can't. And when they trailed

(09:58):
you had When trained, you get club. But the dog
will work with them. But he had it in the
fact to be like a bath. I've seen yeah, no, no, no,
I've seen. I've seen that on YouTube. I've seen the
babies drinking out of bottles. Y'all are bugging If y'all
wouldn't want y'all a well trained bear, bro, Bro, I

(10:18):
gotta be nobody gonna play with you with a bear.
Matt bear for you if you want one, Bro, you
know that even looks harder in your yard. Beware the
bear instead of beware the dog. Pluss, if you've seen
bad trap, you could get it in like that. Every
a cloud, though, you, I mean what, every silver lining
has a cloud, and I think it's everything. I guess,

(10:42):
I guess. I guess it could be the other way
around too, though, Yeah, I guess every single every bear conversation,
every silver liner could have a cloud as well. So
you're right, it's all about perspective. Please, this is gonna
end upsive. I'm with you, brother, appreciate you can't conversation. Goodness, gracious, Hello,

(11:04):
who's this? Hey, what's going on every more than off
your chest. He I was looking at the yesterday interview, right,
and I was thinking, how was Charlomagne like roommates seam
of people and he slept doing the tap. I wasn't
roommate shaming. I think y'all missed the whole point of No,

(11:26):
I think y'all missed the point of the conversation. We said,
a thirty plus year old grown man with another thirty
plus year old grown man. That was the conversation. Some
people are m I agree with you, or maybe you're
saving the house exactly. I agree with you. But you
gotta have more than one bathroom, bro, you can't. That's
all I was saying. I agree with that too, That's

(11:49):
all I was saying. I don't think there's anything wrong
with a grown man being with another girl, man if
it's a means to an end, but you gotta have
more than one bathroom. You can't have to send your
cheeks touching the same toilet. I hear you, I hear you.
Your love for late bloomers right speaking, there's a there's
a there's a documentary on Tina Turner. I don't know
if you guys have seen it. I started. Yes, I
loved Tina Turner. You know that was my mom's favorite

(12:10):
artist when I was growing up. I loved Tina Turner.
Tools her documentary I've heard starting that's really like starting
her career over in her early forties. That really inspiring
thing for late broomers. I was having a conversation with
a friend of day that the thirties and they really
don't know where they want to go with their life
in their career, and I recommended that they watched that
because it's really inspiring figure out. Yes, really it was

(12:33):
really dope because she had to leave Ike Turner and
then people kind of blackballed her a little bit, and
then they were acting like she couldn't do pat and
you know, you keep coming up all the time, and
it come up too many times over the year. But
was able to turn her life around and be the
first that we know today. And it was all in
her late forties, so that the late bloomers, Yes, stacked

(12:54):
a full a little bit of shr bathroom. When you're
not doing you get where you need. But it's a
means to an end. Though it's not a permanent situation,
it's a means to an end. Get it off your
chest eight hundred five eight five one on five one.
If you need to vent, hit us up now. It's
the Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club. Wake up,
wake up wakes. You're trying to get it off your chat,

(13:20):
you man of blass. We want to hear from you
on the Breakfast Club. Hello. Who's this y'all? What's going on?
Ni from Michigan? Man? What's up, nig what's happening? King? Man? Man? Look,
I had a serious debate with my friends and my
group chat yesterday. I don't know how the words is
like for the radio, but they said I'm lame because

(13:40):
I have never received the oral from the back. You
never received oral from the back? How old are you?
First of all three? Hold on you saying that you
never got your buddy toss all out from the back. Man.
It might be that you might just be small. So
my thing is this the positioning of it? Like, why

(14:03):
would you do that? Took that thing up? Mommy, make
it wrong? I told my boy, I'm like, bro, no,
that's not something like from the side from the front,
from the front, from the back to the side. I'm
just curious. How did that conversation start? What do you
guys say, Hey, who's been on their knees before? Like,

(14:23):
how did that started? How started? Was? The homies said,
y'all won't believe what happened last night. That's how you
use the starts exactly, and that's how we started with like, man,
you wilding bro, I think y'all I want y'all to
be more sexually liberated. Man, y'all care too much about what.
First of all, if you in if you're in the

(14:44):
bedroom right and you with a woman and a woman
asked to do that when you're thinking about what your
boys think, that within itself is weird. Why do you
thinking about your boys in that situation? No, no, no,
I don't think anybody was thinking about day boys. I
think I after the fact, it was surprised that it happened.
So either weak man, we make we say like we

(15:06):
tell everything true. It's just weird for me, man, It's
just it's just so. But let's keep it real. You
thinking about it, because he said it was amazing a
little bit thinking about it. That work out something from
the bad that's actually disrespectful. A lot of dudes do

(15:27):
that when they're really trying to disrespect somebody suck from
the back. Why is man blessing? But listen in the bedroom,
do it makes you feel comfortable. If you don't feel
comfortable doing it, don't do it. It was like that
might be painful though, Like isn't it bend back or something? Yeah,
it doesn't hurt. It hurts when you do it, drum.
I've never done it, but I definitely saying yeah, because

(15:48):
that sounds crazy from the back. You see why you
gotta make this what you're saying. Don't make this something
weird for keep your roommates shaming people. This is crazy, John,
I said out Yeah, that's why y'all was roommates that
shared the bathroom. You know if your chest eight hundred
five eight five one five one. Now we got rumors

(16:10):
on the way. Man, this breakup is gonna be interesting.
Bill and Melinda Gates will give you some information, all right,
we'll get into that next. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning,
the Breakfast Club. Oh goshu reports, it's club Well. Bill

(16:34):
Gates and Melinda Gates are splitting up after twenty seventy years.
They met at Microsoft, got married in nineteen ninety four.
They both have agreed to give away more than half
of their wealth, but they are going to keep on
working together on charitable efforts, according to a release, and
Bill Gates also tweeted out, after a great deal of
thought and a lot of work on our relationship, we

(16:55):
have made the decision to end our marriage. Over the
last twenty seven years, we have raised three incredible chill
dren and built a foundation that works all over the
world to enable all people to lead healthy, productive lives.
Melinda out here looking cute? What you're losing weight? Melinda?
What's happening, young lady? That's how you got to approach it.
What's up, young lady? How are you? Well? They're worth

(17:18):
well over one hundred billion dollars and word on the
street is there's no pre nap, but they do have
a separation agreement. And a separation agreement is signed at
the end of a marriage usually and it lays out
the terms of the split. What that means? Now, what
is the separation agreement? I've never heard of that. What
is that? It's like an agreement when you know you're
about to split up, so you come to your own

(17:39):
terms and do it that way. It's like a contract.
It's like, okay, you can walk away with twenty billion
and call it a day or something like that. Like that, Okay,
just think about it. Think about Jeff Bezos's ex wife.
She's married to a science teacher. Now he pulled up,
she's worth over She's worth over sixty billion dollars. He
pulled up, got right in her DM soon does that divorce? Here?
What's up? Sexy? How you he's looking good out here?

(18:02):
How old you? How old are you now? Thirty? She
stopped blushing? All right, Now, money bag Yo, he is
annoyed at somebody who said his performance was boring on
TikTok and the person had posted. So I went to
money bag Yo's content. It was boring and dry af
he only stayed for like fifteen minutes. I want a refund,

(18:22):
and money bag Yo responded, I had four of the
shows that same day. Do you think I give f
tell him post to other ones? So that was his
response on Academics his page. Money bag y'all have to
respond to everybody, all right. When you put out a
song called time today, you always got to have time
to respond to somebody right now, It's only on certain days, okay, yeah,
because I mean I got time every day. I got
time today. I've seen him before me. Yeah, definitely had

(18:44):
a lot of energy when I've seen him perform in Atlanta.
It might have been his fourth show. You might have
been tight. Hey man, you got the number one album
in the country, Drop on a Clues bond for money
bag Yo, Okay, two hundred thous in the show. He's
doing something right all right now, more pop Smoke music
looks like it's on the way. Pop Smokes manager Rico
Beats went on Instagram on Saturday and tease that there
is going to be something new coming. He also said

(19:07):
I see and hear everything kept a cool though, no
worries payback around the corner. Pop Smoke new album loading,
so it should be good to hear that. And he's
also nominated for ten Billboard Awards, by the way, Pop
Smoke Top Artists, Top New Artists, Top Mail Artists, you know,
Top Rap album, Top rap Mail Artists, Top Streaming Songs Artists.
So if he goes are amongst it ten, yeah, that

(19:27):
would be dope. If his actual songs, you know what
I mean. I hate when they like scrapped together bitching
pieces of verses and put songs together a lot of
unfinished material. I hate one album sounded like that. I
hate like what they call it, what they call it
post humus albums postumus. Hopefully some songs he got done
and it's not you know, cutting pasting, but I'm sure,
I'm sure they got a lot of stuff done, all right.

(19:48):
And Marvel has set the dates for the next ten movies,
that including including the Black Parthers sequel that's gonna be out,
Black Panther, Wakonda Forever July eight, twenty twenty two. So
here is some things that are going to be coming
out this year. Black Widow July ninth, Shang Chi and
The Legend of the Ten Ring September third, The Eternals

(20:09):
November fifth, Spider Man No Way Home December seventeenth. So
that's just for this year, and after that, Doctor Strange
and The Multiverse of Madness or Love and Thunder Black Panther,
like I said, but kind of forever, the Marvel's Aunt
Man and the Wasp, Quantumnia, Gardens of the Galley, of
the Galley, Guardians of the Galaxy volume three. Yeah, and

(20:29):
that Marvel's movie is gonna be dope too. That's actually
Captain Marvel two. So that's gonna be a Carol Danvers,
Monica Rambo and Miss Marvel. Marvel just take all my money. Okay,
you can have it all. I mean you're already getting
it anyway, But all right. An Ebony Williams, the first
black woman on Real Housewives Evenue New York is an

(20:50):
official cast member, was on with Wendy Williams and one
of the things that she was talking about was her relationship.
It looks like they've broken up. Here's what she had
to say. When I was here for Hot Topics, I
actually had a ring on. And you know what, this
quarantine I think, like a lot of couples, Wendy, it
made us tell the truth about our relationship. How long
were you with him before quarantine? The most four years?

(21:12):
Did you live with him at the time of quarantine.
I'll tell you what happened. He actually did not quarantine
with me. He has three children, two of which are
young adults, and he chose to quarantine in New Jersey
with his semi adult children. And for me, listen, I'm
not a parent yet, so I'm not I get that
they're number one, right, but I need to be number one. Wendy. Hmm.

(21:33):
I'm not the highest grade weed in the dispensary, but
I'm pretty sure Ebany will have will not have a
problem bouncing back in the man department. That is what
we call a catch ladies and get them. Okay, the
topic though, that that is a good you know, you
you're in a relationship. But your kids, who do you
quarantine with new quarantine? It depends on how the kids
are too, h do you quarantine? I really even even
depending on where your kids are young? How do you

(21:54):
not quarantine with your young children? Oh? Yeah, definitely, but
even if they're in I don't know how old that
that man's kids were, but even he said two of
them were young adults, so I guess one of them
maybe wasn't yet, but you got it was a young adult,
like you know, I mean, my daughter's nineteen a year.
But I think what y'all are forgetting is that last
year was a year that we never expected and it
was something we never saw before. So I would want

(22:14):
to be with my kids in that situation too, because
it's such an unexpected situation. Good topic, It's a good question. Yeah,
absolutely all right. In addition to that, here's what else,
Ebony Kay Williams had to say, how long did it
take you to move on? From the time that you
realized that he wasn't going to come quarantine with you?
Six months? I mean I still was holding out hope.
We were doing the couples counseling and everything, and then
on zoom. Yeah. And he's a lovely man, just wasn't

(22:37):
for me. You know, he was older, he had been there,
done that, didn't really want a new baby and all
that stuff. I want, I want that stuff, Windy. I
wonder why he wouldn't invite them all to be together though,
Like why wouldn't you invite her to come quarantine with
the kids as well, especially if that was a fiance,
but maybe the kids are quarantine with his ex. And
especially being that it was such a such a like
unexpected situation, like nobody knew what to expect from COVI.

(23:00):
Just wouldn't you want to gather around with your village
in that moment? But like like you said, it was unexpected,
so it's not like there was a plan in place
and nobody knew how long it was gonna last. True,
you know, who knows. Some people didn't want to fly places.
I don't know if they're in the same city or whatever.
But yeah, New York and Jersey, New York, he said.

(23:20):
She said, yeah, Well, make sure you listen to the
Holding podcast on the Black Effect I Heart Radio podcast
Network with Ebney Kay Williams. There is not a more informative,
culturally competent podcast out there in regard to legal issues.
So check it out. And no't Real Housewives in New
York start to night. Yeah, I'm excited for that. Yeah,
I'm excited for that. Good for I'll be watching because
of Ebony and Leah. So that is your rumor report.

(23:42):
All right, Now we got front page news. Next. What
are we talking about? Man? And this is a heartbreaking
story and hopefully y'all, I don't know if this is
even considered a happy ending, but imagine working for free
for over ten years. We'll tell you who this happened too.
And now he's finally getting some money back. All right,
we'll get into that. Next, it's the Breakfast Club Morning.
So Breakfast Club, your morning's will never be the same.

(24:04):
Piece to the planet. Charlomagne the god here this year

(24:25):
the God. We are to breakfast club. Let's getting some
front page news. What we're starting you, Well, let's start
in South Carolina man John Christopher Smith. He's a black
man from South Carolina. He was enslaved by his buss
who was white, and he was enslaved for over ten years.
And so if you guys remember this story, we discussed

(24:45):
this before and they had ruled that Edwards had to
do ten years in prison. They ruled this back in
November of twenty nineteen. He cleared guilty to one counter
forced labor for coercing an African American man with an
intellectual disability to work extensive hours a restaurant for no pay.
And this was from two thousand and nine to two fourteen.
And now he's going to get some restitution too, which

(25:08):
is really great. The South Carolina man that was forced
to work, John Christopher Smith is now going to get
five hundred and forty six thousand dollars. Yeah, it saluted.
John Smith dropped on a clues bombs with him. I
hate how they keep saying enslaved. I keep seeing that headline.
I hate that. Well, he was working without Yeah, he
was working without pays. Yeah, but he's not a slave.
I just keep it. I hate the word enslaved, Like, yes,

(25:30):
he was getting treated terribly, but it was forced labor.
He took advantage of his intellectual disability disability. At one point,
he took some hot tongues and burned him with them
because he didn't restock the buffet with fried chicken in time.
And he also punched him, beat him with kitchen pans.
He left him physically and psychologically scarred, and he was
scared what could what would happen to him if he

(25:51):
tried to escape? He said, I wanted to get out
of there a long time ago, but I didn't have
nobody I could go to. I couldn't go anywhere. I
couldn't seen that of my family, so he'd be a
kidnap basically, pretty How did he finally get out? Like?
How did he finally decidedly? An employee and an employee's
relative alerted authorities of the abuse in twenty fourteen, and
that's when the Department of Social Services removed Smith from

(26:11):
the restaurant that year and according to according to Abdullah
Mustafa from who's the president of the local chapter of
the NAACP, said, we are talking about enslavement here. What
was the guy charged with? I don't like that word enslavement.
I think that we do a disservice star ancestors when
we say that. But what was the guy charged with?
Forced labor? Okay, so he didn't pay any amounts and

(26:33):
no minimum wage, even no compensation at all. So yes,
he's going to um ten years in prison. So what
would you call you? So what do you call it?
You just call it kidnapping. His kidnapping doesn't mean that
you have to work for free, kidnapping forced labors. He
was kidnapped, he was consulted over and over. He wasn't
intellectually right to make his own decisions, so he did kidnapped.

(26:55):
He was physically harmed, he was beating, he was beat
a's assault. Yeah. I just don't like comparing things to slavery.
I just know all right now, Wednesday, a woman who
didn't know she was pregnant gave birth on a flight
to Hawaii. So Lavinia Munda was flying from Salt Lake
City to Honolulu on April twenty eighth for a vacation

(27:16):
when she gave birth to her son and he arrived
early at just twenty nine weeks. But luckily there was
a doctor from Hawaii and three ICU nurses that were
also on board that seven hour don't just like to
help deliver that baby, she was lucky. How many months
was you it was? The baby was twenty nine weeks.
She didn't know she was pregnant. Wow, how much twenty

(27:36):
nine weeks at seven months? Seven months? And how you
don't know you're pregnant? She might have been really small,
like like yeah, when she gets pregnant, you really you
hardly see that she's pregnant. And in the first child
we had was only four pounds. Didn't know that period
wasn't coming for seven months. Well sometimes well some people people,
some people still believe. Yeah, I mean it's definitely happened before.

(27:58):
These people that have gone to the bathroom and then
gave birth and didn't know they were pregnant. It definitely
happened some people. Seven month periods, like you might have
a period now and you don't have another period for
four months, like you hit that at seven months is
a long time to not feel something kicking in your stomach. Well, fortunately,
like we said, there were all these nurses and a
doctor on board. All right now, the three main suspects

(28:20):
accused of founding and maintaining are dark Web child abuse
image site with four hundred thousand members has been taken
down in a global police sting. German police have arrested
four members of a gang. They're saying it's the world's
biggest child abuse image websites and so thank god. It
was a police operation involving regional and federal German officers.
They rated seven addresses across Germany and arrested those three

(28:41):
men who are accused of operating. Boys Town is what
it's called a platform within decent images and video of
children who goals. That's just disgusting, Like what type of
people are The fact that there was almost half a
million members on this side is disgusting, But that is
your news. People go to their places, pedophiles, pervert, sick,

(29:05):
twisted individuals. Geezh, all right, all right, well he was uplist.
It's just disgusting your front page News. Now, let's open
up the phone lines eight five eight five one o
five one. During room as we were talking about Emony K.
Williams and she was doing Wendy, and this is what
she said. You know what this quarantine I think, like
a lot of couples, Wendy, it made us tell the
truth about our relationship. How long were you with him before?

(29:28):
Almost four years? I'll tell you what happened. He actually
did not quarantine with me. He has three children, two
of which are young adults, and he chose to quarantine
in New Jersey with his semi adult children. And for me, listen,
I'm not a parent yet, so I'm not I get
that they're number one, right, but I need to be
number one, Wendy. He's a lovely man, just wasn't for me.
You know, he was older, didn't really want a new

(29:50):
baby and all that stuff I want. I want that stuff.
All right. Well, let's ask eight hundred five eight five
one o five one fellas uh pandemic hits. Do you
quarantine your fiance or do you quarantine with your kids
and ladies? If your man doesn't quarantine with you, is
it over? Is it a rap? Let's talk about it.
Eight hundred five eight five one oh five one is

(30:10):
to Breakfast Club. Good Morning, the Breakfast Club Morning. Everybody
is DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlemagne the guy. We are
the Breakfast Club. Now if you just joined us, we
were talking about something, Ebony K. Williams said with Wendy Williams.
Let's take a listen. You know what this quarantine. I think,
like a lot of couples, Wendy, it made us tell

(30:31):
the truth about our relationship. How long were you with
him before quarant for most four years. I'll tell you
what happened. He actually did not quarantine with me. He
has three children, two of which are young adults, and
he chose to quarantine in New Jersey with his semi
adult children. And for me, listen, I'm not a parent yet,
so I'm not I get that they're number one, right,
but I need to be number one, Wendy. He's a

(30:53):
lovely man, just wasn't for me. You know, he's older,
didn't really want a new baby and all that stuff
I want. I want that stuff. So we're asking eight
five eight five one oh five one are you quarantining
with your kids or your fiance and ladies, if your
man quarantine with his kids are not you for months
at a time, what would you do? All right? Now, ye,
let's start with you. M Now, if your man had

(31:14):
had a couple of kids and decided he was quarantining
with his kids and not you, that was your fiance,
you've been together for a while, what would you do
in that situation? Man? That's a big if, because I
my man doesn't have that issue, so I can't. It depends.
I think it would depend on how old the children
are too, Like at your kids grown? Right? Can they
handle things themselves? Can you? I would be okay with

(31:35):
him quarantining for a while, but at some point I
would be like, okay, now let's see each other after
maybe like three months, four months? Okay, Charlomagne, what youre doing?
I don't know the full situation, so I'm only going
off with Evan, he said on Wendy. So I'll take
it out of that story and just say, ideally, you know,
we would all quarantine together, especially if you're my fiance.

(31:56):
But if I had to choose, if I had to choose,
it would definitely be the kid. You know, none of
us knew what COVID was. We didn't know if it
was the end of the world. We didn't know how
to diet. The situation was, I would absolutely, positively, you know,
want to be with my kids in a situation like that,
if I was forced to choose, like I said, ideally
all of us would be together because you are my
fiance and I love you. You're my family too. But

(32:17):
if I had to choose, of course, I'm choosing my kids. Yeah,
And I would say selfishly, I wouldn't want to quarantine
with somebody else's kids, like if they had to do homeschooling,
and I still got to work every day because Evane
was working this whole time still too, So imagine like
the house is kind of noisy. I don't know how big,
you know what it's their house isn't that big, And
now the kids are doing things in different rooms, going
to school, and I'm trying to work. I'd rather be

(32:38):
by myself. Yeah, I'm with you. I'm quarantining with the kids.
I mean, pandemic kid. We didn't know what it was.
We thought it was gonna take everybody's life away, so
we were trying to all be saved. I mean, I
ain't leaving my kids. But failing that is a good
point that you just said, though, I mean, Evane got
a whole life, you know what I'm saying. Evane is
a whole entity unto herself. So she may not have
been able to put herself in that position where she

(32:59):
could quarantine with that family and made more sense for
her maybe to be bars up. Let's go to the
phone line. Hello, who's this? Hello, This is Jessica. How
are you, hey, jess how are you doing this morning? Good? Good?
Now your man did this to you? Yeah, so he's
a truck driver and he refused to come home. He
just wanted to keep working. And so what happened was

(33:20):
he came home to visit and he tried to COVID
from one of us. So there's that. Oh so he
didn't come back once he got COVID in that house.
He stayed away. Huh No, no, no, he was forced
to say on man. Oh, okay, okay, right, Well guess what.
I hate to sound selfish, but I thank you man
for his service. The truck drivers was definitely essential, and

(33:40):
they kept things moving during the pandemics or salute all
the truck drivers out there. That's that's the truth. Hello,
who's this? Ki YadA, ken YadA? Good morning, ke YadA.
Guess what RACI? Wow, you're a liar. I am not

(34:02):
okay if I have a man and he's quarantine and
with his baby mama. I don't have any kids, but
I just feel like, yeah, that's not okay. What were
you doing the rest of the time. Anything can happen
to the kids any time a year, So don't be
with her like that many months. Y'a always sleep together. Now.

(34:24):
I didn't hear Ebany say that was was he quarantine
and with the baby mama and the kids? I didn't
hear say that. I mean that is a good point.
Kids do kids and one was younger, so I mean
you gotta think that, yes, it's probably his ex there
as well. I feel like Ebanie would have said that, though,
But I feel like going back and forth from one
house to the other, some mothers or fathers would be like,

(34:44):
I don't want you leaving and going out and then
coming back and bringing COVID And then the kids get
it because that happens too, Like they go back and
forth between the parents' houses, and as a responsible parent,
you can't go outside of that bubble. Yeah, because even
during the pandemic, my assistant stay with us that whole
time because we were scared, we didn't know what was happening.
We didn't want anybody in and out the house, so
we wanted to make sure that, you know, our house

(35:06):
was clean and safe. So yeah, we didn't let people
in and out our house either. But I get that. Yeah,
I don't know if he was quarantine or with the
baby mama though, I don't want to just throw that
out there, but yes, that would be wild if he
was quarantine with the baby mama and the other kids
and just leaving your fiance alone. Nah, all right, Well
eight hundred five eight five one o five one ebdey
K Williams was talking to Wendy Williams. She said that

(35:27):
her and her man broke up. She said, during the pandemic.
You know, he chose to quarantine with his kids and
not her, and she had a problem with it. So
what we're asking, what are your thoughts. It's the Breakfast Club,
Good morning morning. Everybody is DJ Envy Angela Yee, Charlomagne
the guy. We are the Breakfast Club. Now if you
just joined us, we're talking about eedbndey K Williams. Her
and her fiance broke up during the pandemic. She said,

(35:49):
during the pandemic, her man, Well, let's just hear what
she said. She was talking to Wendy Williams. You know
what this quarantine I think, like a lot of couples, Wendy,
it made us tell the truth about our relationship. How
long were you with him? Four almost four years? I'll
tell you what happened. He actually did not quarantine with me.
He has three children, two of which are young adults,
and he chose to quarantine in New Jersey with his

(36:11):
semi adult children. And for me, listen, I'm not a
parent yet, so I'm not I get that they're number one, right,
but I need to be number one, Wendy. He's a
lovely man, just wasn't for me. You know, he's older,
didn't really want a new baby and all that stuff.
I want. I want that stuff. So we're asking eight
hundred five A five one on five one, what would
you do? Hello? Who's this? Hey? What's going on? Dj

(36:32):
MD Engine Shaw Julius with our brother the morning the morning.
First of all, I just want to say that woman
is a Beyonce and she did not become number one
until those thousand made. So this man already had kids.
Those kids are number one and in those times where

(36:52):
they're unknown, nobody knows what's going on them, kids is
number one. I want to be who my kids? Two? Okay? Yeah,
I mean listen, even after the val made though though,
still your kids, they still your kids. You know what
I'm saying? Like, Yeah, hello, who's this? Chanel? Hey, Chanelle,
good morning, good morning, a good morning? Peace? Pease please,

(37:15):
how are you now? Your man said he's quarantining with
his kids and not you with what you're doing. Nah,
he got it, golf, because if you're not quarantining with me, that,
you know what another one, you're not gonna use you.
So you don't even trust him. But what if you're
talking to him every day though, like FaceTime and every
day and he really is home with the kids. Listen, girl,

(37:37):
I'm gonna saying the time and this pandemic though, you're
not gonna just have random women coming over and you
with your kids in the house. That is true. Hello,
who's this now? What's uping? Man? Now that pandemic kids?
You quarantine with your kids, your fiance. What you're doing?
Quarantine on my kids. Bro. Yeah, you know, I don't
know why any woman would want to put themselves in

(37:57):
that situation. When it comes to power rankings, it's impossible
able to come before the kids, especially when they are
a certain age. That's my flesh and blood. Like I'm
just speaking from expanage. You had up having to follow
anyway with your lady and with each other's faith all morning,
all day. That's automatic. Yeah, Like I said, the ideal
situation would be to have your fiance, you know, and

(38:17):
the kids all together. But if not, I got to choose.
I'm definitely choosing my kids. But y'all keep adding this
other variable of the baby mama being over there too.
I don't know if that's the case. It makes sense
of you because if if they have two kids that's
young adult, one that's younger than that, who the kids
with the kids ain't just living in by themselves. It
might have been it might go to college in Jersey.
We don't know they're there are parents who they had

(38:39):
their kids going back and forth, but only between each
other's houses. And in that case a lot of times
the parents would be like, you're not allowed to go
anywhere and bring anything back into the house with the
kids parents. We ain't nobody coming into that our house.
Hell was this Hi, Hey Jessica, good morning, Good morning.
I feel that I wouldn't want to be with a

(39:00):
guy who kids number one were Yeah, like I mean,
there's no reason for him not the kids firs. I
don't care what age it is. We didn't know what
was going on. The pandemic was crazy. You don't know
what's going on if he has his ex wife there
or if his ex quife is visiting, but that mother
comes first. You gotta respect that. Okay, That's what I

(39:21):
love about black people, just people in general. We added
a whole other variable to the story, and we don't
even we don't even know if it exists, you know
what I'm saying. We just had to I thought it
was a simple conversation about with your quarantine with your kids,
quarantine with your fiance. Now y'all't added a whole other
woman into the equation. This man is shacked up with
another woman and his kids at the same time. We
don't even know if that's the situation. There was at

(39:42):
the hotel, was Lord, the baby mama, him and the
baby mama. Then reconciled and got back together and realize
that they are in love with each other during the pandemic.
The Lord have different sides. All that Lord have mercy.
What's the little story, guys, and most of the stories,
Like I said, I and I deal situation. It would
be the fiancee and the kids. But if not, I'm

(40:03):
definitely choosing my kids. I get. That's tough, bro, Like,
it's tough to even think that he's gonna put his
kids before you. And it's one of the women called
when they said, you know, as one of the women
said when they called, like, I wouldn't trust the man
who didn't put his kids before right before any woman. Right, Well,
we got rumors on the way. Ye. Well, since we're
talking about breakups, let's talk about Drake allegedly destroying an

(40:26):
eight year relationship. All right, we'll get into that next.
It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning morning. Everybody is sej Envy, Angela, Yee,
Charlemagne the guy we all the Breakfast Club good morning. Yes,
that was great conversation. We just had every Kay Williams
actually be on the show next week, to be on
Breakfast Club next week. But heads up, the kids were
twenty eighteen and thirteen. Okay, Yes, that's how old the

(40:50):
kids were twenty eighteen and twenty eighteen and thirteen. Okay.
I was still want to be with my kids twenty
eighteen thirteen, Yeah, especially doing especially because it was a pandemic,
because it was COVID. We don't, We didn't. We didn't
know what that was, right, you know what I mean.
We didn't know what they expect. We didn't know what
was going to happen in the world. Yes, I think
you would want to be with your kids in the situation,
ideal situation, all of y'all together. But if I got

(41:12):
to choose, I'm going with the kids. All right. Now,
did did y'all see that? Did he change his middle
name officially to Love? Yeah? I did see that. Yeah,
did you guys? It's on his license now so he
posted it. Now. Did you guys like your name's growing up? Um? No.
My middle name is Larry, And the only reason I

(41:32):
didn't like my first name, Leonard is because people would
always say Leonard because they would always think it was
a misspelling. But it's not a misspelling. My name is
Leonard Ellie n A R D. But I'm now Letard,
but they would always say Leonard, and so I got
tired of correcting teacher. So I was just like, man,
just call me Larry Man. Yeah, my name is a
little too long to fit on the scan trump you
have to take the standardize standardized test. My name never fits.

(41:54):
So they always called me a shoot because they didn't
never fit. And the way my mom spelled it r
a a capital s h a u n was just
always difficult to explain to people. Two an that's crazy,
that's wow, R double a shau. And my mom wanted

(42:16):
to be different, so she did two a's in the
capital s that she achieved that. I don't know anybody
else nor a capital s J. I know some reshawns
not spelled like that. I mean that's because y'all fake bougie,
and that's just like that's just that's like people say
their names. People say their name is Vell Johnson, like
people let me do for family matters. God, I think

(42:38):
he died, God bless the day. His name was Reginald
Val Johnson. You know your last name Johnson? Like like
like literally, they want to be len You better shut up?
What you better shut I got a good name I
found out your real name. What's his name? Tell him
your name Dramos, Danny what Ramos? No, it's not give

(42:59):
him the whole name, Danny Benjamin, Danny Benjamin. This guy
is a fake Puerto Rican. I've ever met one. What
Puerto Rican you know named ben Danny? Name is Irish?
How are you talking right now? I'm talking to you, Okay,
it's not about me. Our last names we didn't pick.
That's right, but your middle name Benjamin. Shut up trying
to assimilate with white culture. LEONARDA please, Leonard mccalarby, and

(43:21):
little Leper. I'm sorry, hey, Reginald Bell Johnathan is still
a live car from that car. I'm sorry, Hey, man,
I didn't know bro. I thought he passed. Now I'm
gonna fail passed that. I know, guy said, god rest
he's from Queens too. Just killed the guy fro the
Reginald Bell Johns after him. Man, I didn't know. Man,
he's alive. Guys, he's alive. All right, guys, wrapping up.

(43:41):
We don't want y'are killing nobody else rumors next what
we're talking about? That was it? But let's talk about
Drake and this alleged uh situation Ship where he is
being accused of destroying an eight year relationship. The show
was sober for him. All right, we'll get to the
next breakfast club comor morning. Everybody is dj Envy angela Ye.

(44:04):
People love screaming out letters. All right, let's get to
the rum as. Just talk Drake, Right, this is the
report with angela Ye. Well, Drake is being accused of

(44:26):
being a home wrecker. Now, this guy, Jamie's son, who's
a singer, was engaged to his girlfriend who's also a singer,
Naomi Sharon. They had an eight year relationship until allegedly
she got flute out and he was there too. Her
fiance was there too, and that was for Drake certified
Loverboy album recording sessions. Apparently Drake wanted to work with her,

(44:48):
so the couple went out there to meet and they
started recording her vocals for the album. And he now
has posted Imagine having the most beautiful, supportive and the
faithful relationship eight years long with an engagement and wedding planned.
A beautiful woman on your side is ride or die.
Then this major opportunity comes in A world star calls
your fiance to sign a record deal flies you both
over and then out of nowhere. All that trust is

(45:11):
vanished with knives in your back and in your heart,
he said, I am no longer with the person people
think I'm together with. I'm no longer with the eight
years I thought I was together with. I am no
longer with the engagement I thought I was together with.
That's gotta suck. If Drake smashes your chick, now you
got to delete all Drake's music out your playlist. That's
a lot of music, bro, that's a decade. That's a

(45:32):
decade of music, a decade of features. You said they
were married or just no engaged. They've been together for
eight years. I can't blame that, Drake. Blame Drake told
you he's a snipe. What you're supposed to do, it's not.
And the crazy thing is, to me, it's like, Okay,
you've been with this guy for eight years ago, fly out.

(45:53):
We go to work with Drake and it ain't like
that's gonna be You're a new man, you know what
I mean. That's like a okay, a fling or whatever
it is, and we don't know if it's true or not.
By the way, just true. It's all alleged what if
what if she did it for them? What if she
did what if she did that for them? Like? What
do you what if she did it for them? What

(46:14):
if she did it like that put herself in a
position like that movie with Demi Moore where yeah and
there you go. There you like took like took the
L for the for the I mean that's not really
an L. It's not a l's not took the DH.
You would do it, I would do it. I'm gonna
have to don't suation. I don't know. I mean, no,

(46:41):
you can't do that. But I mean, I mean we're
saying allegedly because it is allegedly brain the young man
put it out there, did you know? I mean, Drake
hasn't responded. He might have a whole nother story. And
sometimes people jump to conclusions like if you see a
text message and you're like, oh, you slept with him,
you don't know. And if Drake had to respond to
every guy who's every every guy whose girl he smashed,

(47:02):
maybe all day right his album would be delayed. Oh okay, yeah, yeah,
I think I think it is all right now. Clippers
star Kawhi Leonard went on Instagram Live, and you know
he never does that. And he has his upcoming Culture
Jam project, so he also shared some music from that

(47:23):
as well. So he said, it's emerging hip hop and
basketball together and it's gonna drop later this year. Let
me find excited for that. Actually, I am number one.
Me and Kawhi Lean shared the same born day. So
he's a cancer and I always appreciate cancers and their
autistic abilities. But the fact that Kawhi does not express
himself often, music might be his expression. We might really

(47:43):
find out who Kawuh island it is through his music.
I am absolutely intrigued. Really, yes, all right, well, his
song is gonna be out this Friday, by the way,
this song with a Young Boy never Young Boy and
Rod Wave. I haven't heard it, so I guess we'll
see on Friday music. I didn't see that one coming.

(48:05):
That wasn't one I had lined up on. I ain't
see that one either. I'm here for I don't want
to hear it all right now. Kat Williams did an
Instagram Live interview with Fat Joe, and amongst the things
that he talked about was whether or not drugs enhances
his funny I can't enjoy it as much as regular
people because the whole time I'm thinking, how go did

(48:26):
they think of that? What kind of he was on
to think of some like that? The misconception is that
there are drugs that can help you do your job. No,
there isn't. There aren't job drugs that help you memorize,
to be creative, to come up with something that somebody
didn't already say, to figure out the funny thing in
something tragic. Those are not the side effects of drugs.

(48:50):
Those are the side effects of brilliance. Yeah, I agree
with Kat, and I commend anybody who can think on
drugs because I can't. When I'm on drugs, I think
about nothing. Just what about marijuana. I'm thinking about nothing
except for what I want to eat. That's it, all right.
In addition, he talks about his famous perm that's not

(49:12):
going anywhere. Well, I'm only the greatest comedian living because
I have more female fans than any comedian on the globe.
A perm is a homage to them. Anyway, They know
what that is. They let me end the business thinking
that maybe I was soft out there. You understand, but
it was a misconception. So even as the pimp comedian.

(49:33):
You have to understand the brilliance in the fact that
he's told no pimp jokes. So they downplay me because
they must, because the guy that you're saying is crazy
and maybe a crackhead, has outworked you every second that
he has been a peer of yours. Okay, in addition
to that, he talks about I'm Richard Pryor. My inspiration

(49:54):
has never stopped. So I'm as inspired by the guys
I'm watching on TikTok as i am inspired by a
Richard Pryor or a George Carlin. Richard Pryor really was
a ducking craftman, because he said he was, and yet
he is our kid, don't you gotta stop? In his
autobiography he tells you who he swept with what he did.

(50:16):
That's what made him to go is because he did
not hide the things that were bad in his life,
the things that you wouldn't tell anybody about. He told
that cad is correct again, and nobody ever judges you
when you live your truth. I mean, name might, but
it doesn't matter because it's your truth. When you live
your truth, nobody can use your truth against you. That's

(50:37):
what Richard Pryor did very well. Yes, I remember reading
Richard Price buck and me like he did what And
this is the fact that he was so honest about it,
because most people would never put that in a buck. Yeah,
if I'm correct, he was. He wasn't he was with
trans trans women trans woman, Yeah, and he said he
and then he said, because let's stay for the weekend,

(50:57):
come on already, yeah, said he was high when he
got on there. There's a little something extra. You just
you just went with it. I read his book too,
That's what I read the same thing. He said it
just like Daddy said, it is a little something today, Yeah,
something to that effect. It was some comedic effecting there. Yeah.
And then and then it was kind of like, well,
you're here, so let's have a good weekend. Let's go

(51:17):
all right. Well that I guess some quair coast is
Claire all right, but you forgot to do the tuck
and fold is what he said. I ain't playing with
y'all today. Who are you giving your donkey too? We
need a guy named Francis. What's this guy's named Francis?
Get to come to the front of the congregation. We'd
like to have a word with him police. They say,

(51:39):
America's not a racist country. I can't tell. We'll discuss
four after that, all right, keep it locked us to
breakfast Cloud. Good morning, So Breakfast Club, your morning's will
never be the same. Our Audible pick of the day
is Brooklyn North, a true crime documentary about four wrongfully

(52:03):
is a miracle. There is no question that there are
problems in this country between police and community. Yes, you
are a donkey to the latest on that police killing
of a black man. Now a new developments in the
deadly spawshooting rampage. If they was a really bad day
for him, and this is what he did, and so
we are in a state of emergency. Okay, White suprematist

(52:27):
violence is it always have been the number one threat
to oxcide. But I'm also very proud that my wife
was white. Because the breakfast club bitches. All right, please
tell me why was I your donkey of the day. Well,
donkey of to day for Tuesday, May fourth goals to
a Lancaster County, South Carolina volunteer fire chief named Francis

(52:49):
butch gent. Oh, the mayonnaise is heavy on this one.
I really said to myself, I'm going to attempt to
do donkey at the day this week and not talk
about race once. I mean, South Carolina Senator Tim Scott
and now Vice President Kamala Harris said America is not
a racist country. So I figured it would be pretty
easy to do that, right. I mean, since our black
elected officials say America is not a racist country, then

(53:11):
I must be reaching every day looking for stories of
white folks being racist, because, according to the Senator Scott,
Madam VP Harris, America is not a racist country. Right. Well,
guess what, just because you believe you can fly doesn't
mean you can't. Okay. I don't care who says America
is not a racist country. I don't care what position
they're in, I don't care how much money they have.
It's just a white devil damn lie. Okay. I think

(53:33):
that by repeating this lie over and over, they are
trying to create what is known as the illusion of
truth effect. You know that whole repeat a lie often
enough and it becomes the truth though, that's a law
of propaganda that came from a Nazi. So don't let
anyone keep peeing on your head and telling you as
Mike's hard lemonade, because it's not okay. This is a
racist country, always has been, and unless we make some

(53:53):
radical systemic changes, always will be. See. I'm not a
delusional person who thinks they can change the hearts of people. No, no, no,
not at all. I would rather focus on racist legislation,
racist systems, holding people accountable for their racism professionally and personally,
civil and criminal. I want to weed out racism and

(54:14):
bigotry at his route because that's what America spell with
three k's, was founded on, and that's what we need
to get rid of. Case in point, Francis Butch Ghent. Now,
remember I told you he's a volunteer fire chief. Well,
he resigned recently. Why did he resign because of a
post he put on Facebook? I do not know why
racists who hold corporate jobs, who are elected officials, think

(54:37):
they are only sending these messages to their closest friends.
We all can see you, and in this case, Francis
Ghent had a message for the police. Let's go to
w BTVCBS three for the report. Police, a forty two
year veteran of the volunteer fire Department, Chief Francis Gent,
wrote a racially charged post saying police should stop responding
to calls in black neighborhoods because the people there would

(54:59):
eventually quote he wrote, kill each other and the quote
fake news wouldn't have a story. He has since deleted
that Facebook post. I sincerely apologize. I don't want to
stir up unrisk in our community. I want us to
be together. I want us to heal. I guess it
was racially insensitive. I did not mean it that way.
Again says he was lashing out in frustration at the

(55:19):
national news media and the way he feels cable news
portrays the police, and now everybody's trying to riff them
apart and make sure that they're trying to disband them
and put their lives in Jeffery Again says he wrote
a letter of apology to the city council and is
planning a meeting with leaders in the black community soon.
I love my community, I love my people, and I'll

(55:40):
do anything for any of them, and I didn't mean
this to hurt them. The gat tells me that if
the city council asks him to step down, he completely
understands and will comply immediately. He also has told me
that he has officially sworn off social media. Listen. How
to News reported that store something blatantly racists called racially insensitive.

(56:00):
She says, some say it's violent. Some he literally said,
he just wants to kill. He wants us to kill
each other. Okay, it's killing, not violent. Okay, Francis, we
don't need you given the police any more reasons not
to protect and service. Okay, stop responding the black neighborhoods.
They will eventually kill each other, as if them responding
the black neighborhood doesn't often lead to them killing us.

(56:22):
I'm glad he resigned, and that's one reason I'm glad
social media exists, because it makes it very hard to
hide who you are when you really feel strongly about
something like this guy Francis did. It's hard not to
say something. No matter how hard they try to tuck
their racism, they will eventually reveal it in the Facebook post.
And that's what we need. We need to know who's who.

(56:43):
If we don't know who's who, we can't root out
the evil. When we know who's who, we can stomp
out all the evil. But just remember, kids, even though
this volunteer firefighter, Francis Gain is clearly racist, America is
not a racist country. Please the next person who interviews
send it to Tim Scott. A VP. Kamala Hires asked

(57:04):
them for me. If for America is not a racist country,
what do we call this? Please? Let Kathy Griffin give
Francis again the biggest Hea Hall. Please give this giant
jar of male the biggest Hea Hall. I just want
to know what you call it. For America's not a
racist country. What do you call it? I call a

(57:26):
racist country. A country where people do racist things, a
country where people do racist names. Okay, all right, well
thank you for that. Donki today, sir. Now when we
come back, we have comedian Michael ch joining us from
Saturday Night Live. He's got a special No, we've got
a TV show coming on HBO Maxis Series. Yeah, and
we're gonna talk called that Damn Michael JA. That's right,

(57:47):
So don't move. It's to Breakfast Club. Good Morning, the
Breakfast Club Morning. Everybody is DJ Envy Angela Yee Charlomagne
the guy. We are to Breakfast Club. We got a
special guest on the line, Michael Chay. Welcome. What's up, bro?
Are you feeling man? How's everything? Blessed Black and Holly
favorite King? How you everything is good? Man? I'm excited? Now?

(58:10):
Are you in New York? Yeah? Why can't you come
to the studio? Oh? Because I had to take like
four tests or something like that, and I was like,
I don't rather just do it a test. You gotta
take one test, you take one rapid test. Maybe it
was explaining to me, uh poorly. Damn. I wish you
could be in studio. Man, you got your your HBO

(58:31):
Max comedy series that damn Michael Chay coming out me
six Yeah, man, I'm excited at this. It's coming out
this Thursday. It's uh, it's kind of crazy. I can't
wait if you has to see what makes it so crazy?
You know you work on That's Enough for long enough.
You know, it's a lot of network statuds and uh,
things that we could do on that show that we
couldn't do That's Enough, So it's kind of it's kind

(58:54):
of fun. Now, Michael, tell me what I'm missing about
Elon musk Man. What makes him so controversial? Because I
saw in page six he said the cast won't be
forced to appear with Elon Muslim? Like, what makes them
so controversial that the casts wouldn't even want to stand
next to him? What am I missing? I don't know.
I think white people just don't like their billionaires for
some reason. It's weird because we love our billionaires. I mean,

(59:16):
if Oprah Tyler Perry was comming, we'd be all excited
about it. But whatever reason, I don't think it's a
little bit embarrassing when they realize how much both they
actually have. But I you know, it's the richest man
in the world. I mean, of course I want to
beat him. Yeah, I don't understand it. I'm like, well,
what is Elon done? I'm looking for the comments, I'm
looking for things he may have done. I don't see it. Why.

(59:38):
I don't get it. It's kind of strange to me,
to be honest with you. He's a polarizing guy. Man,
It's uh, you know, when you have that much. But
I think that's what makes the show exciting. Honestly, it's
like he's been on other shows before. I don't know
why it has to know specifically. I think it's a
good thing. I think it means people still care about
the show in some way, at least, because they wouldn't
care if they wouldn't know, if they didn't care, you know. So,

(01:00:02):
I think people still kind of take ownership of even
who's booked on the show, because the show's still relevant
at the forty six seasons, which is insane to me.
I mean, I wish I hope people care about what
I'm doing forty six years into what me doing it?
You know, that's right. It's comedy too sensitive now? Is
things too sensitive? Oh? No, I think it's perfect. I
love it. I love that you do. I love it.

(01:00:25):
It means people ain't gonna want to do it as much. Man,
it's great, perfect for me. Yeah, it's the reason why
y'all do what y'all do, and y'all show is what
it is because you're willing to do what a lot
of people aren't willing to do. Man, You're willing to
take the luks and you're willing to you know, say
what you what you say is gonna have power and impact,
you know, no matter what. And I like that idea.

(01:00:45):
I like that. That's that's the case, because if that
wasn't the case, then anybody would be trying this, and
then you know what would be so cool about me
doing it? Man? That's a good ass point. So because
because to get involved in something like comedy or radio
or anywhere where you expressing your voice and your opinion,
it's got to be worth the risk for you. Yeah, man,
that's what makes it exciting. That's why people want to

(01:01:06):
see you. That's why people want to hear what you
want to say. That's why I doing the show, doing
the breakfast. People want to hear what you're gonna say
on that show because they know that that show is
gonna is gonna come correct. And so for me, I
love when it's sensitive. I love when everybody sensitive about
it because they know that I don't care, and it
makes business better for me. Now. I also was reading
about how Elon Muss was crowd shorts and like he

(01:01:29):
hit his hit his followers up on Twitter and ask
for me. So he called them skip but their sketches,
sketch your idea. Did that offend you? No, man, I
think it's great. I hope he does some of them. Man,
it makes my job easy. I don't gotta writs. But perfect,
Are you writing anything for Elon? Oh? Yeah, I'm right,
I'm trying to write. I'm getting so much done. I

(01:01:51):
want to just give him so many ideas. Man, it's fun,
it's exciting working with the richest man in the richest
man in the world. Yeah, that is baffling. Yeah, I
promise you. I was just so confused because I was like, well,
what I really wanted to know what Law's original sin
was that everybody got so mad that he was hosting SNL, Like,

(01:02:12):
I think that's a great get fastnel. Yeah. I really
don't know either. I mean, I'm sure somebody somebody knows.
I'm sure it's not nothing, but um, we'll see. I
think it's cool. It's like it's it's polarized. I like
going to show kind of has that edge. What's the
goal for a black man at SNL now, because you
know there was there was the Chris Rocks and the

(01:02:32):
Eddie Murphy's, you know who were there for short stints,
but then Keenan kind of changed the game by being
there forever, Like like what fifteen sixty year, what does
Michael Jay want to do? I don't know, man, I
mean I've been there like seven years now, which is
which blows my mind. Doesn't feel like it, but I

(01:02:52):
mean to me, it's I like it then, like you
get your summer because you still get enough off time
to be able to do other things. You know, when
I first started as a writer at US to know,
I was like the only black writers there. I was
the only one who was Keenan and Jay on the
cast and then just me, And so now you got
since I've been there, there's been Leslie, There's been Chris Red, Business,

(01:03:14):
Saint Jay, there has been you know, so many different
black people, so many different but great richardson. So there's
so many different black voices now where stuff wouldn't have
worked when I first got there because nobody in the
room knew what we was talking about. To now when
there's six seven black people in the room, we could
kind of have guests like Chappelle, and we could have
guests like you know, so we could have guests that

(01:03:34):
we probably wouldn't have had before. So there were rumors
that you was gonna leave SNL because of this series.
You're gonnait for it to be successful first before you
I don't think anybody leaves and you still see Maya
Rudolph to the skits man you still see you know,
Alec Baltam has been there for twenty years. He's hosted
more than anybody else. Like you, I don't think you

(01:03:54):
ever really leave S and L. You know, it's just
more like I guess, the workload changes the more you
have to do outside of the show. All right, we
got more with Michael Jay when we come back. Don't move.
It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning morning everybody in stej Envy,
Angela Yee. Charlomagne the guy we are the Breakfast Club.
We're still kicking into with Michael Jay. Charlomagne. So what's
the premises of that, damn Michael Jay. That's a good question, man.

(01:04:17):
It's really just it's a sketch show. It started out
of just a sketch show, and it kind of built
organically what we would do, these kind of tie ins
and these a loose narrative to being the sketches together
to make it different from us and now to make
it different from any other sketches that we've seen before.
So were really just trying to make what we wanted
to watch, you know, And a lot of the topics

(01:04:40):
is the stuff that we talked about, the way we
would approach stand up coming. A lot of the same
subject matter, but you know, just in Sketch Farm. So
you know, we got a lot of you know, crazy guests.
We got to Mary Hardwick, we got met the Man,
We've got, We got gesture Alwins on it, who was hilarious.
We got Ellen cleg We got a lot of just
fun people that we wanted to work with anybody, And uh,

(01:05:01):
it's pretty cool. You must got some great attorneys to
be able to get you a carve out to do
another sketch show. Yeah, that's still man, it's still we got.
You know, I've been kind of lucky. I'm for real,
I've been kind of lucky. Like I can't find I
have people to complain about, you know, the experiences on network,
the experiences at the show, and I really can't complain.
Sketch is tough too, man, because you know, especially when

(01:05:23):
you're black, because the bar is in living color, the
Bar and Chappelle show. You know, sketch Sketch can be
very hit and miss. We have a whole episode just
about that, just talking about you know, following your heroes,
following the goats. I mean, I was raised on the Colors,
raised ball Partners in crime, you know, same as everybody else.
So you know, it's you really just want to, Like

(01:05:43):
I said, you really just want to do the show
that you want to see. You know, you really just
want to because that's the only way it's gonna stay true.
And you know, people, I think people like it. It's
so crazy that you look at the Living Color and
be like, there's no way in hell and liver Color
could live right now with all the things it could.
You think it could? Man, yeah, good man, you look,
I'm telling you what people were saying. It's not quite reality.

(01:06:05):
It means they can't do it. But if it truly
can you seeing it? Like how many times you've seen
somebody on TikTok or some Instagram do something wild, flagrant
and it's got seven million views, million, whatever it is,
it's people. Can people still want that content, People still
want the edgy stuff, they still want to laugh at it.
It's just a lot of people are afraid to do it.

(01:06:26):
And that's good for us. But that's the problem with
the networks, right because your point is very valid. The
problem with the networks is if y'all busy water and
things down and y'all busy playing. It's safe. The people
will just go where they can get that stuff, which
is the YouTube, which is the social media. They don't
got to sit around and wash this water down woke
TV do you absolutely correct, But that's not to me.

(01:06:49):
That's why it's so cool when people are like, oh, man,
who's holding lesson outs He shouldn't be doing that. You
shouldn't be like it's like, wow, you still care about
what's going on on network even though you have all
this entertainment there in the world. You know, we have
all these different outlets, and people still care about what
we're doing. That's a testament to that show, you know.
So it's all good to me because it's room for everybody.
There's only twenty four hours in a day, so you

(01:07:11):
gotta at some point narrow down what you want to
watch and find a way to get to And you
got a bunch of the cast members of SNL on
your show too, right that damn Michael Chay. Yeah, we
got we got Hide on there. We got Cecily, we
got Keenan and christ was some voice on a cartoon.
It's crazy, man, there's a lot of there's a lot
of fun stuff and surprises in there. What's the sketches

(01:07:31):
you did for your show that y'all presented in the
SNL room, But that S and L said it was
two edges. Oh man, nothing, Actually, there was nothing on
this show because we did the show during the summer.
But there's there's most of us. I would say about
eighty five percent of the stuff on this show we
definitely can't do. I mean, we gotta, we gotta sketch about.

(01:07:53):
We had a lot of wild stuff on it. Tell
us that sketch about one now we got we got
a lot of wild stuff. Man, we got it's fun.
It's but it's this way. It's literally when you watching,
you be like, oh, I see what he's saying. It's
directly to a black experience that maybe and now wouldn't
even be comfortable putting on TV. Because that's I still

(01:08:14):
think people when they see and that's enough sketch, they
still think it's like some white dude, you know, and
they'll study thinking about what how black how they see
black people? You know, because you know the show's historically
a white show. I guess you would say so even
stuff that we would do that we think it's funny.
People would be uncomfortable with it because they don't know
that it's us writing it, or they don't know that

(01:08:36):
it's us just kind of talking directly so our audience.
But that's the only thing about being on a variety
shows that all that I could cut through where you
can put all the sketch with out of the ten sketches,
one sketch you're like, I don't get it, and another
group is like, this is perfect, you know what I mean?
This is the one we like. You know that people
come up to all the time and they tell me
a different thing that's the best sketch, and we need
to do ten more sketches like it, and they're all different.

(01:08:58):
So that's, you know something everybody on that show. But
this show is target. Is it hard to find a
comedical approach, you know for topics like racial profiling or
police brutality or do you even go down that role?
I don't think it's I don't think it's hard at all, man,
I think it is. I think to me, that's the
most fun to me, the lightning, the lightning and the bottle.

(01:09:19):
That's when you catch the lightning in the bottle. That's
when you catch that that track with it, what that
energy is. Because people have strong feelings about it, so
when you mentioned it, they know exactly how they feel
about it. You know, it's raw. So it's uh to me,
that's the best stuff. That's the easiest. It's harder to
make comedy about stuff I don't care about. Is it
a limited series or it's gonna be multiple seasons? What's it?

(01:09:41):
What it's gonna be? I don't know, man, I want
to see kind of you know what it does. We're
dropping six episodes on Thursday, and you know, we'll see,
we'll see, uh what it is. It took so long
to do these six because of COVID, because it has
enough schedule, you know. Like I said, we wrote it
in the summer, so a lot of the stuff, you know,
we hope it's still fresh. We hope nobody touched it.

(01:10:02):
It's kind of crazy that no one has, you know,
it's kind of crazy that the stuff still holds up
and it's still kind of exciting. So uh, yeah, we'll see.
I don't know. I'm able to do some more this summer. Well,
Michael Jay, we want you in studio. Man, Man, I
want to come to the studio. I'll do something you
right here in New York. We right and dry becka
pull up, get the anal swab and let's let's do it.

(01:10:23):
And man, hopefully in like two or three weeks it
won't even be that way. It's looking like they about
to open everything one right, Yeah, Charlotmagne gets the anal
swab every day. That's why Nvy gets the anal swab
and then he does the no swab right after it
with the same cueture. But we need you up here, brother,

(01:10:46):
and man, thank you for having me for real. Yes,
Sir Michael Jason, I ain't man that damn Michael JA
makes sure you check it out this Thursday. It's the
Breakfast Club. Good on and thank you brother. It's about
is the rumor report Angela yee f the Breakfast Club? Well.

(01:11:09):
During an interview with Willow from Where's Willow, Burman was
talking about how much money that he makes annually from
the Masters of the Cash money records artists and former
artists as well, and the biggest wire that he's received.
So it starts off with him talking about the biggest wire.
What's the biggest wire you ever received from music at
one time, maybe like four hundred. But I don't like this,

(01:11:30):
like three four five times. Man, I've been around like
real getting real bags. My first big one was like
I always got the ten twenty thirty foters, but we
wanted to get hopping up to two fifty three fifty
four hundred german like. But we've been getting them for
a minute. Two to my guy willow Man, him and
Gilly do not take their foot off the gas. I
love what those kings are doing. So wait a minute.

(01:11:52):
They said he got checks wires for three to four
hundred million a couple of times, all right. In addition,
he talked about how much they make a year on masters.
How do you make money off the masters? If it
has a value, If it don't have a value, just
sitting awesome, this dead but it's still your you know,
that's understandable. But I was value. We licensed the music.

(01:12:14):
I just started letting people sound for much. Yeah, it's
a gang of way as you make money with your masters.
You know, we generate twenty thirty million dollars, yeah, just
on our masters. Yeah. I remember reading I believe in
fours that cash money is generated like one point eight
billion dollars in gross revenue since nineteen ninety eight. So
I don't know if Birdman capping, I doubt it. I

(01:12:37):
don't see the reason. I don't see the reason he
would have to cap. But I do know if you
generated that kind of money, it should never be any
artists on your label just scrumbling about some paper. Not
only that, I just know there was a time didn't
they foreclothes on a home or something that he had
in Miami that was Scott Storch's home or something like that. Yeah,
but sometimes the closure, Sometimes a foreclosure might mean that

(01:12:57):
it was a situation that you just wanted to get
out of it because as the house isn't worth as
much as what is left that you have to pay
on it, you know. So it's all kinds of reasons
why happen. I'm gonna be honest. I sounded like some
hate bro me. No, sound like I thought like some
left field hate for no reason. No, I'm just asking

(01:13:17):
because if you make those amount of checks, you know,
and things are getting foreclosed, and you're having problems with
your artists, and I know, Burt Man, I'm cool with them,
but I just always think, like, where do we go
wrong with our financial Like do we not know how
we invest in? Do we just spending money frivously? Or
accountants a lawyer stealing our money? Like it don't make sense.
So I always try to count somebody's money to see
what they do, because I pet maybe counting people poet, Yeah,

(01:13:40):
because I don't want to make the same I'm with you,
the same things that they do wrong. I don't want
to do. Yeah, I don't think, um, I don't know
them about the foreclosure. But yeah, if you generated that
kind of money, it should never be any artists on
your label just grunted a bossom paper ever, All right, now,
Tiffany Hattish did an interview on the News Daily Popping.
She was talking about adopting. You know, she alls so

(01:14:00):
was onting foster care and now she's taking parenting classes.
Here's what she said. The parenting class was, now I'm
looking at you know, five and up really like step. Now.
I want them to be able to know how to
use the restroom on their own and talk. I want
them to know that I put in the work if
I wanted them. I don't want to pay nobody to
carry my baby. Neither, because then I have to go

(01:14:21):
through a process for giving myself injections and all that stuff.
When I was twenty one, I was really hard up
with money and I gave up a bunch of eggs.
So who knows. I Mike got some kids, don't hear
any street? Tiffany will make an amazing mother. She's a
great person, and she's great with kids, and she's been
through that Falster kid system, so you know she knows
the love of Falster child needs all right. Now, Mike Tyson,

(01:14:45):
he has a upcoming ABC News series that's all about him,
and it's called Mike Tyson Then Knockout. And here is
a piece of that trailer. When you think about Mike
Tyson and the ring, he was unbeatable, but outside the ring,
the only person that defeated him was him. Robin. Does

(01:15:07):
he hit you, He shakes, he pushes um, he swings.
His life started to spiral out of control. It's a
tragic narrative. The obsession remains. It seems that he is unstoppable.
It seems that he is forgiven for his crimes. Be interesting,

(01:15:30):
Why wouldn't he be forgiven for his crimes? I mean,
he paid his debt to society. Right again, that the
whole point. I think the way she was looking at
it was that it wasn't stopping. I don't know that's
what I took from it. I mean, either way, he's
forgiven by God. It doesn't matter what humans think of him.
I don't understand why we act like people can't evolved
from their path, Like how old is Mike typon that
and they say, if a man at fifty that thinks

(01:15:52):
the same way that he did at twenty has wasted
thirty years of his life, right, Mike. But I think
this is old footage, you know, like from him. I
don't know if that's something new that was said, but
it's a two part primetime event. It has archival footage
and previously unaired interviews with Mike Tyson himself, so it
could have been something that somebody said previously. I don't
know that, guys now, so that's not from twenty one. Yeah,

(01:16:16):
he said, this is like a docuseries, so it's old
footage and things like that. So you can watch that.
A premier is on May twenty fifth, and the second
installment will be on June first on ABC. All right,
I'm angel La Yee and that is your rumor reports.

The Positive noticed this because you know it's mental health
Awareness month, man, So I just want to tell everybody.
When you heal trauma, you heal the nervous system. When
you heal the nervous system, you heal the emotional body.

(01:20:36):
When you heal the emotional body, you heal the psychic body.
When you heal the psychic body, you heal vibration. Once
