Also she spoke on the beef with Nicole Murphy and so much more. Moreover, Charlamagne was not in today so we allowed our listeners to nominate someone for "Donkey of the Day" and next was topic time where we opened up the phone lines to see who they thought was wrong or right from an email Yee read about a man who was definitly not for spending money on a woman and her friends, when he just only offered to buy a drink for 1.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is your week of Hall Breakfast Club to show
you love to hate from the East to the West,
Coat Dj Envy Ante Charlomagne, the really show on the planet.
This is where I respect this show because this is
a voice of society. James in the game. Guys are
the coveted morning show. What y'all earning? Exacting the coach,

(00:21):
Sure the morning and day. Want to hear that Breakfast
Club the world's most dangerous morning show. Good Morning Usa,
Hey fam, Happy Friday, Hey Years Friday, Good morning Toronto.

(00:52):
Good morning everybody. It is Friday. Hopefully you having a
wonderful morning already if you're up and out. I'm happy.
I'm excited. I'm happy it's Friday. I needed this weekend.
I needed this weekend. I can't wait. I'm excited just
to relax, just to sit back, just to do absolutely
positively nothing. I'm not taking those zoom meetings. I'm not
taking those zoom calls. No Breakfast Club. Sometimes you just

(01:14):
need it, you need a little break. And the fact
that they're opening up the world now I can actually
I don't know where I'm gonna go, but I'm still
not allowed to leave the house. The boss of the
house is. I still can't leave, but I can drive
my car and pass a couple of places. So it
seems like restaurants to open this weekend only outdoor eating
the beaches open where where I'm at over here, still
a little nervous to go out, still a little scary.

(01:35):
But what about you? Ye oh, nothing's open over here?
Is still you know? So we're still in Phase one
in New York and Phase one just started this week
on Monday, and they said phase two maybe you might
start at the end of June. And originally it was
the beginning of July. They're saying maybe at the end
of June. So no, we still don't have any restaurants,
nothing like that that we can go to. Okay, so

(01:58):
what do you do it d the weekend? Just just
TV and read or do you go out or do
you go to the park or what do you do
during the weekend? You know what? This weekend is the
first weekend that I am not packed on my schedule,
And so I mean I do things like I'll go
for a walk around the neighborhood. What I really like
to do, I know, I mean it's weird, but I
like to look at in my neighborhood. I live in

(02:18):
Brooklyn and Bedstide. I like to look at what houses
are for selling, and I walk around and I just
look and just see what everything looks like. And this
beautiful architecture here. So I feel like I've seen like
every single house on every block within a one mile
radius of me. But I just go for walks around
the neighborhood. Yeah, I do the same thing. I do
it more for for energy, give myself, just to sometimes

(02:39):
I get a little lady sometimes and I just like
to go through and go through the really really really
rich neighborhood and just drive by look at some of
the houses. I go online and I do the same thing.
It's just things that I like to do. It gives
me some inspiration sometimes. Yeah, today there's a rally and
it's only a couple of blocks in my house, so
I might go over there. Okay, all right, Well this
morning Lisa Ray will be joining us. Lisa Ray. Everybody

(03:03):
still calls her Diamond from Players Club. I don't know why,
because she's done the other things since then. Huh they
still call her that. Yeah hell yeah, yeah, yeah, they
still call her Diamond. So she's on that she's on
season two of A House Divided, so I know she'll
be talking about that that's on UMC. Yeah. I tried
to watch it. Everything wasn't connected with me. After about

(03:26):
eight minutes, I was like, you know what, I just
maybe I gotta watch season one. Yeah, maybe, yea. Yeah,
it is taped like a soap proper. It reminds me
of a soap proper and it looks like a soap
opera all the way through. But we'll talk to her
about that. And then we got from this morning. Yeah,
and I was gonna say, also this morning we got
to talk about Dave Chappelle and friends, a talk with

(03:47):
punchlines and something that he just released, so we'll be
discussing that this morning at some point. Also, all right,
well let's get the show cracking front page news. What
we're talking about, Well, the Trump administration and will not
disclose what businesses received billions, well five hundred billion dollars
in government bailout, so we don't know what companies. There
were four point five million businesses that got that check

(04:09):
and we don't know who got it. All right, we'll
get into that next keeping lock this to Breakfast Club,
Go Morning Morning everybody is DJ Envy Angela, Ye, Charlomagne,
the guy we all the breakfast club. Let's get in
some front page news where we're starting. You, Well, the
Trump administ administration is not going to disclose what businesses

(04:31):
got five hundred billion dollars in government bail out. There
were four point five million businesses that took that government
Paychech Protection Program loan, and they want to keep that
a secret. So the government will not reveal that. And
that feels like it's some type of cover up. Apps absolutely,
because as we can see, a lot of companies that
didn't need that money got it, like shake Shock had

(04:53):
gotten ten million dollars and then they did end up
returning that money once that was revealed. So we kind
of need to know what businesses got this. And then
what they did was they left it up to the
banks to determine who would get these loans. So what
do you think banks did. They gave money to some
of their best and wealthiest clients, and a lot of
the people who have mom and pop stores that really
needed that money didn't weren't able to get it. Yeah,

(05:14):
that sucks, that's horrible. I mean, it gets to the
point where you know, a lot of these big corporations
are bailed out, and these small mom and pops, like
you said, will never open back up because they can't
afford it. They put their life savings into a restaurant
or a store or whatever they have, and because of
what's going on, they can't be saved. It's like, who
cares about the little guy? We care more about the
big guy, which is fed up. Donald Trump was in

(05:35):
Dallas yesterday and he had an event that was promoted
as discussing justice disparities. It was a roundtable event with
faith leaders, law enforcement representatives, small business owners, and senior
members of the Trump administration. And one thing that he
was doing there was saying not to falsely accuse people
of being racist. Americans are good and virtuous people. We

(05:57):
have to work together to confront bigotry and prejudice wherever
they appear. But we'll make no progress and he'll no
wounds by falsely labeling tens of millions of decent Americans
as racist or bigots. We have to get everybody together.
We have to be in the same same path, all right. Now,

(06:19):
he doesn't see races out there. Everybody's good people. Go ahead,
you now, Another thing that Donald Trump had previously announced
was he's going to be doing his first campaign rally
since everything shut down because of coronavirus, and that is
going to be on Juneteenth. And here's what he had
to say, his press secretary had to say about that appearance.

(06:42):
The African American community is very near and dear to
his heart. At these rallies, he often shares the great
work he has done for minority communities. When you look
at the fact that this president got criminal justice reformed. One,
that this president brought us the lowest African American unemployment
number in the history of our country. That this president
made HBCU funding permanent. Um. So it's a meaningful day

(07:06):
to him. Um. And it's a day where he wants
to share some of the progress that's been made as
we look forward and more that needs to be done,
especially as we're looking at this police reform. Yeah, that's
that's bullcrav A lot of that started with Barack Obama.
And not only that, I'll be honest with you, Donald
Trump is damn they had the face of racism, of
white supremacy. You know, you talk, you look at all

(07:27):
these rallies and everything that's going on in all these
anti protests. What are they doing? They're yelling Donald Trump?
They have Donald Trump flags and banners. None. People have
never racists have never felt so empowered absolutely four absolutely
and felt like they were they had a safe space
to really exhibit who they are thanks to Donald Trump.
All Right, Well, later on in the next and the

(07:48):
next front page news, we'll be talking about Joe Biden
and the appearances that he made yesterday. You know, I've
been thinking about this, and I've been talking to a
lot of my friends, right and I would say, maybe
Joe Biden shouldn't say anything at all, you know, just
not say anything at all. Just just not say anything
at all. Just just chill, just just chill, because every
time he says something, you just want to slap yourself

(08:10):
in the forehead, like no, Joe, no, please, please, no Joe.
Donald Trump talks all the time. And yeah, but the
problem is the people that Donald Trump talked to are
kind of like Donald Trumps. You understand what Joe Biden.
He says like off the wall ish Donald chop, and
I feel like we're just numbed to it, like we
expect it. Yeah. Yeah, but I also think Donald Trump's

(08:32):
follower was like it and and really really don't care
about it. But for Joe Biden, he says that, well, anyway,
get it off your chest. Eight undrip five eight five
one oh five one. If you need to vent hit
us up right now. Maybe had a bad night, bad morning,
or maybe you feel blessed. You want to spread some positivity.
Eight undred five eight five one oh five one. Get
it off your chest. It's the breakfast Club. Good morning,

(08:52):
the Breakfast Club. I'm what's doing. This is your time
to get it off your chest, whether you're mad or blessed.
Five one. We want to hear from you on the
breakfast Club. Hello. Who's this Hey? My name it is Tie, Hey, Tie,

(09:13):
good morning. UM. I just want to get off of
my chests about my job and how they really get
irritating me. This this whole like George Floydson happen them
like rest in peace of him, because I feel real
bad about that. Um. But anyway, I work at the
gas station and the first day everything happened with them,
like the whole protest and everything I live in on
that door Florna. So the very first day it happened,

(09:34):
I got a text message and it was like, um,
if you don't want to come in, it's okay, Like
if you need to day off, Like no, it's like,
first of all, I need to make my money, like
don't put me. Don't put one thing with the other,
Like unless you're gonna pay me, don't tell me. I
don't need to come in because my people are protested
for something that we believe in. Um. And then like
last night, I was having a conversation when another girl,

(09:54):
a customer, about like black lives matter, and we were
talking about having that whole conversation because I always need
to set a breakfas so at night because I worked overnight,
so I don't get to listen to you guys like
usually in the morning, so I like catch up mornet,
like you know whatever I missed if I'm listening to it,
Like yeah, the general was telling me, like yeah, I
like the man. You know. It was like kind of
like comparing on certain stuff in my manager he was

(10:14):
hearing our conversation and he walked passing me and I
was like, well, I think all lives matter. I'm like
I don't care what you think, Like I didn't ask
you anything. Mind your business. I don't want to get
off exactly. Thank you for calling me. Don't knock nobody out, mama,
anybody matter. And then the person lives matter is not

(10:38):
paying attention to the conversation at all, willfully being ignorant.
A lot of people aren't paying to the conversation, and
no matter how many times you explain it, they're just
stuck in their ways. When you see all these protests,
in these anti protests, but like like, hello, who's this?
This is mad? Mad? What's up? What's up? Bro? Get
it off your chest? Oh it was good Now. I

(11:01):
just wanted to um say something real quick. I was talking.
I was thinking about what you said about the DJ.
I mean, damn purposes. He so good Joe Biden keeping
his mouth shut. Man, Can you get back on that
a little bit? Because I felt when he was coming
from Now, I just agree he should I just agree
he should be quiet. At first, I was mad he
didn't go to George Floyd's funeral, But I think what
he should do, and this is no dis to him.

(11:23):
He should let his team talk for him. He's not
a great speaker. He confuses things all the time. As
a presidential candidate, I think that's not what you need
to do, especially when we had somebody like Barack Obama
that it was a great Barack Obama, that was a
great speaker. I mean he forgets things. He says all
types of different wow things that doesn't make sense, that's

(11:43):
not true a lot. So I think he should let
his team talk. He's not a great speak He just
can't win. Man. No, He'm gonna tell you that. Though
he does make a he does make a lot of mistakes.
And then when he doesn't speak, people like, why isn't
he speaking up at a time like this when we
need to hear his voice. He should be out there.
It's like, I don't know, he should tape it. He should.
I gotta reach out to him and let him know
to shut out. No, I don't know him, but I

(12:06):
think he should take a lot of the things that
he says because he makes a lot of mistakes, and
as a presidential candidate, I don't I mean, I don't
think you should be making those mistakes. I almost feel
like right before he speaks, they give him notes and
tell them what to say, and he confuses it. Get
it off your chest eight hundred five eight five one
oh five one. If you need to vent hit us up. Now,
it's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club. This

(12:29):
is your time to get it off your chest. Whether
you're man than from you on the Breakfast Club, but
you got something on your mind. Hello. Who's this? Hello,
it's Nathan Nice, Nathan, Good morning. What's up? Nathan Nice?
Angela Ye, Charlomane the God. What's up? Guys? What's up? Oh?

(12:51):
So I'm in Seattle right now with the Capitol Hill
Autonomous Zone. We kicked, we kicked the police house. So
I just want to get it off my chest. Uh.
Right now, it's very peaceful. I don't know what they're
saying out there, but it's real peaceful here in Seattle.
And uh, I just want everybody to go follow the
Kitchen Couch podcast and the Kitchen Couch dot Com. But

(13:13):
y'all mean you kick the cops out. So basically, the
cops boarded up. They boarded up their windows when got
out of Dodge. They're occupying other parts of Seattle, but
they're just not occupying Capitol Hill right now. Okay, all right,
well y'all be safe out there. Right. Hey, thank you guys,
much love to you, guys. Hello, who's this Vy, what's

(13:33):
going on this month? Calling them down? Bro? What's up?
What's up with you? Bro? Not a whole lot? Good morning,
Andrew League, Good morning, good money? How Charlomagne later in
this morning? Now, I don't think. I don't think coming
into all right, we'll give him a past. Man, you
get a lot of dop man Scharlomagne. Who was gonna

(13:54):
fly you? Bro? Hey, Well listen, this is what I
wanted to tell y'all. Man, I think right now think
it's a good opportunity for HPCUS to really start recruiting
some of these athletes. You got the number one recruiting
the countries for basketball, Mikey Williams considering going for you?
And my thing is what the HPCUS doing to capitalize

(14:16):
on this, Norman, the opportunity and its shift in the environment.
You see what I'm saying as a fellow do you, alum,
a fellow hands because alum, you know what I mean.
I think that it's a big opportunity and I think
that we're gonna need everybody on board. I think the
celebrity player major role, and its people like yourself, Envy,
you know what I mean? What can we do? What

(14:37):
can we do? At this time to step up and
really get this recruiting up for these black colleges. You
know what I mean. I think what we need to
do is continue to talk about it. You see how
much I talk about hand to university and how much
fun I had and what I learned as far as
education and the connections I did, and I push it
all the time. I mean, it's I was forced to
go to HBCU as a kid. I was forced. My

(14:58):
parents wanted like I was the first first of my
family to go to college, and I was forced to
go to HBCU. And I love that. I enjoyed him
that my kids, I want them to go to HBCU.
But you know it's on him, you know, yeah, no, absolutely,
and I agree. But I think, brother, you get to
a point where talking just ain't enough, you know what
I mean, We got to stop putting. I actually put
our on the ground, you know what I mean, even

(15:19):
if it means volunteering your town. Now. I know y'all
got busy schedules and everybody's got to do it. They
gotta do. But if it if it takes you know
what I mean, volunteering time to let's coming out. Let's
make our Black college events as far as athletic events huge,
you know what I mean, as far as like concerts
and whole events, rats around these things or whatever we

(15:40):
gotta do, you know what I mean, to really attact
and bring the interest over to these HBCUs. Man, I
think right now is a big opportunity. And I commend
the young brother Mike Williams and whoever he saw speaking
with in his corner. You can say he's surrounded by
brilliant people and bright people. H And I just wanted
to know brother age, we support on them. I hope he.

(16:01):
I hope he can make the decisions to go to
an HBCU and it's so man, I can't willing to
get on the ticket list. Bro, Yeah, I mean absolutely.
I think what we need to do too is I
think one of the bad things is is growing up
when you look on television, Like for my son who
plays football, you don't really see HBCU games on TV.
You see college games on TV. You see college basketball,

(16:21):
and usually they're not HBCU. So you know, as a kid,
you want to play for the teams that you're a
fan of, Like you want to play for dude, or
you want to play for Clemson or you want to
play for Syracuse. You don't really see none of our
schools on television, and that's what we have to change.
But thank you for calling get it off your chest
eight hundred five eight five one oh five one. We
got rooms on the way. Yes, I talk about somebody

(16:43):
who quit their job because they won't have the Confederate
flag to wave around anymore. All right, we'll get into
that next. Keep it locked. As to breakfast club, good
morning the breakfast clubs. Oh gosh, gods a report now

(17:05):
we teld you about NASCAR and how they're not going
to have Confederate flags anymore. At NASCAR, ro one driver
is quitting at the end of this season once they
announced they were banning those fans from displaying the Confederate flags.
That's when a ray to Trelli's Facebook account. They posted that, well,
it's been a fun ride and dreams come true. But
if that is the direction NASCAR is headed, we will

(17:27):
not participate after the twenty twenty season is over. I
don't believe in kneeling during anthem, nor taking people right
to fly whatever flag they love. I could care less
about the Confederate flag, but there are people that do
and it doesn't make them a racist. All you are
doing is fing one group to Cata to another. And
now I ain't spend the money we are to participate
in any political bs so everything is for sale. And

(17:47):
that was his wife, Sarah to Tirelli posting that Roba.
I mean he didn't. He's not a good racecar driver anyway.
He's never won zero and zero wins. He's trash regardless.
So you can go be an Uber driver. Since you
got nice driving skills, you you know you could be
a taxicab driver just just you know you you got
ill skills. But I want to Nascar driver to drive

(18:09):
my Uber. Sometimes when you gotta get to the air point,
you gotta get to the airport. I ain't gole front
all right. Now here are some good news. Let's talk
about Claudia Jordan and Tamar Braxton. They've been beef in
for like eight years. There was a dispute that they
had online and they had different opinions on things, and
they have finally made up publicly. Listen to this from

(18:30):
here on out. Tamar. You know, we had some hostile
words on Instagram and social media, and I think other
people added fuel to the fire. It was eight years ago.
I would like to think we both evolved and grown
since then. So I would like to put that to bed,
and I like to reinduce myself to you today, Tamar. Hi,
I'm Claudia, and I don't want to build a friendship

(18:52):
or build a whatever based on talkers about anybody else anyway.
So I'm done with that, if you are. If we
can move on from that, we cool on that. Oh absolutely,
Hi'm tam marm and Pisces. I think that's dope that
the two of them buried the hatchet, because sometimes y'all
start your argument and you know, it goes on for
so long and then you even forget, like what's the

(19:13):
reason we were even arguing in the first place. It
wasn't that serious, it wasn't that big a deal. So
I'm glad they squashed their beef. I'm glad that they
spoke to each other and squash it. I hate seeing
our community beefing over nothing, So I'm glad especial because,
especially right now, you see all the things that are
happening in the world, and actually we're beefing over these
little things. Now, this isn't gonna go over too. Well,

(19:33):
since we just talked about squashing beef, let's talk about Nicki,
Minnads and Takashi six nine. They put out their project Trolls. Now.
Nicki had already said a portion of the proceeds from Trolls,
including merch items, will be going directly to the Bill Project.
The fund provides free bill assistance to low income individuals
who can't afford to pay bill while awaiting their trial. Well,

(19:54):
of course this was trending yesterday and they were on
Live Together discussing a lot of things. People were hitting
me up, like, yo, do you see what's happening right now?
One thing that they talked about was rappers versus snitches.
Here's what Nikki had to say about that. Streets have
every right to feel how they want to feel about
snitching because they live that life. As I feel. Rappers

(20:17):
need to play it easy because everybody, you know, integrates
with everybody. And if and if a top executive rat
called one of y'all unsigned rappers right now, sigh y'all,
y'all signing, y'all sail out. So let's let's be clear
when we talk about rappers versus street it's the rappers
that puts guns day another bus a day and they

(20:38):
life and their music all the time. So we're not
talking about rappers. Yeah, I'm very surprised that Nikki did
that record. Um, you know, of course, me and Nicky
have a love hate relationship. I think Nicky bodied the record.
She killed it. I love when Nikki talks spicy like that,
but I'm really surprised she did the record. I mean,
her man is a street dude. You know, the people
that she came up with, whether it's Webb Nitty or

(20:59):
Coke or whatever. It may be that those are street
dudes that held her down and that she held down.
So the fact that she got on the record with
a AKA Snitch is kind of weird to me because
Nikki is about that life. She's from that life. It's
not like she's a rapper, No, she is from that life.
Like people make fun of her because she does those
pop crossover records, but she is from that life, which

(21:19):
was surprising into hero on a record. Well do you
want to hear some of the time Now, these are
the price that people are talking about and are going viral,
And she took some shots at Ushare and Meek Mill,
somebody ushered into a clinic her myself still sick. Don't
talking the pandemic to write my own lyrics to a
lot of comics they study Nikki style now, all of

(21:39):
them wom talking about stitches when the snitches and your
camp never stand alone you when we itch your four
skin now. She also took a shot at Lisa Ray.
And since we talked about Claudia Jordan earlier, she clearly
has an issue with you know what Lisa Ray had
to say about her bowing down to little Kim. So
listen to this shot, La Mill, come get her even Yeah, man, no,

(22:02):
Nikki's doing about her. You don't like me? Can you
want to fight me? I'll wait on my page. Never
double tap like me. Betty's to my left and my
right right. Never cheats a corny put that in my life. Wow.
Now this is all interesting because Lisa explain to join us. Okay, Yeah,
So Lisa Ray was married to the premier of text

(22:25):
and caikos, Michael Music, and Michael Music allegedly cheating cheated
on her with Nicole Murphy. So that's why she said
NICKI Nicky's nicky nice with with with the word play,
I ain't gonna front Nicky Nice with that word play.
And then she said, ullsher you to the doctor, Nicky
Nice with the word play. I don't like to show
on that record, but Nicki, God damnit, Nikki you nice

(22:46):
with that wordplay. I just don't like you to direct though.
All right, well here, uh yeah, So anyway, I'm sure
we'll be talking more about this, and I'm Mantela Yee
and that is your rumor reports. All right, thank you,
miss Ye. And next time we're gonna kick it with
Lisa Ray. So we're gonna talk to Lisa Ray next hour.
All right. I bet we gets out there today so
we could get her response from the record. But you know,

(23:07):
she did talk about the BARB, she did talk about
Nicki Minaj, she did talk about Nicole Murphy. So all
of those things did get addressed. So appreciate you, n
because Emmy was there for the team. Stop it. We're
are gonna love this. I mean he was really there
for all right, yee goodness creation. All right, let's talk
about Starbucks and Black Lives matter. They do not want

(23:31):
their employees wearing anything that supports that. Wow, all right,
we'll talk about it next it's the Breakfast Club. Good
morning morning. Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlomagne na guy.
We all the breakfast club. All right, let's get in
some front page news. Where were starting? Ye? Well, Joe
Biden yesterday took part in a NAACP town hall and

(23:55):
some of the things that he discussed was pleasing across
the country and the type of change that we need.
And he also discussed reparations. Listen to this, why not
say now whether you would be four reparations or not.
I know it has to be done now, and you
know it too. Let's not wait, Let's just do the
study and decide whether it should be direct cash payment.

(24:17):
But in the meantime, you know what has to be done.
If in fact, a calculation comes to you that you
are satisfied with, would you then say I'm for reparations.
The answers it depend on what it was. It will
to include Native Americans as well? What does what does
Native Americans have to do? Now, Yeah, that's a whole

(24:37):
separate That's why I said sometimes with Joe Biden he
should just be quiet, like he should just release statements,
because at first I was mad that he didn't go
to George Floyd's funeral. I'm like, why wouldn't he go?
He's a presidential candidate. Why I send the video? But
now I understand, sometimes you gotta he has to record
what he's saying, because sometimes I think he just speaks
and talks and really doesn't know what he's saying. So

(24:58):
I just sometimes I think his team just has to
talk for him to speak for. And when it comes
to reparations, he also said black Americans should have more
access to purchasing homes and funding should be boosted for
schools that serve children from low income families. So he's
talking about that, but he's not talking about necessarily direct
payments as far as reparations. Now. Another thing that happened

(25:21):
was Joe Biden was talking about Donald Trump and his
Juneteenth rally that's coming up, and he got a lot
of information confused. Here's what he had to say. He's
going down in Texas on Juneteenth, right for the first
major massacre literally speaking of the Black Wall Street right
years ago, years ago. It was long and age. She

(25:46):
ended up going to Texas yesterday, so he wasn't going
June nineteenth, and Juneteenth is not yet Oklahoma. Now, so
here's the other thing. Juneteenth is about emancipation. Right, the
massac was in Oklahoma, So Juneteenth was the emancipation Proclamation.
Was freed all the slaves, and that was back in

(26:06):
on June nineteenth and eighteen sixty five. So that's what
that was. So he got a lot of different things confused.
See that's what I said. He's you know, so it
just you know, he's a presidential candidate, right, and you
meet people out there. We're supposed to, you know, get
things confused at times. But if you're a presidential candidate
and you're supposed to be talking about certain things, shouldn't
I have my issue together? Shouldn't I know what I'm

(26:28):
talking about when I'm speaking, you know, shouldn't not? He
needs a teleprompter at all times. Somebody would like a
you know, they have an app on the iPad where
you can put nobody needs to work around. Yeah, And
I think his team like he should he should he
should stop like stop talking, like and whatever he wants
to say, just release on video because because he's confusing himself,

(26:50):
because he confused me so many different times, Like I'd
be confused. I'd be like I thought this was differently,
ok ahead, all right, well that is your front page news.
Goodness gracious, all right, all right, when we come back,
Lisa Ray will be joining us. We'll kick it with
Lisa Ray. We'll talk about everything. Yeah, yes, And Nicki
Minajs just took a stab at her controls with Takashi,

(27:15):
and I know Envy was getting all the tea about
you know, how she felt about the barbs, and he
was getting the tea about Nicole Murphy. So we're gonna
get into that. You stop it. And also Envy, I
told you when we did this interview with Lisa, y
y'all gonna love this because Envy was I felt like
me and Envy had like a little gossip show, you
know what I'm saying. And he was asking all the

(27:35):
right questions, he knew all the drama. I liked it.
Oh boy. All right, well, Lisa Ray when we come back.
And also Charlomagne is out. So if you want to
give somebody donkey of the day, it doesn't matter who
it is, your mamma, your daddy, somebody's seeing in the press,
whoever it is. You can get on the phone lines
right now and you can give anybody you want Donkey
of the day, so we'll start taking your phone calls.

(27:56):
Eight hundred five A five one oh five one. It's
the Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club back. You're
checking out the world's most dangerous morning show. Morning. Everybody
is DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are

(28:17):
the Breakfast Club. We got a special guest on the
line right now, Lisarey. Welcome. We appreciate you getting up early.
I know you're on the West coast, right I am.
I'm in the lust and I'm at home quarantine like
everybody else, trying to break out, you know. Every now
I'm being I take a little drive. This is still same,

(28:37):
but yes, it's early here. So what you've been doing arantine,
well just a little bit, but I don't trust that,
you know. I have my mother here from Chicago. She've
been here for like six months. My daughter's here, my
grand baby. So I got like two people that's susceptible
to the disease, you know what I mean. I'm elder

(28:57):
and a baby, and so I'm not trying to put
them in any type every end myself, this quarantine ain't
bother me at all. Because I've been able to find
out more things about my house projects that I've been doing.
I've been looking up at the feeling going where did
that crack come from? And oh my god, I gotta
paint the house? And what's for such a breakers like, oh,
this is what time the sprinkler systems come on? You know?
I mean, I didn't know anything, and so now it

(29:19):
started making me feel like you just live here and
pay the bill, that's it, you know what I mean.
And so I've been doing things with the baby, swimming lessons,
picnics outside, cooking, catering, more or less a nanny. That's
what I've been doing. Because you got a nice house,
Lisa Ray. That's why at least y'all got the pool outside,
you got the outdoor area. You have four generations under

(29:42):
one household, which is amazing. And congratulations on being a grandmother,
though I think that's so dope. I saw you posting
the baby, and I know that has to feel good
for you. It feels so good because what I realized
is that I haven't had unconditional love and about twenty
five years, because right now my daughter thirty and she
ain't feeling me and I ain't feeling her either, so
I don't get that clove, you know what I mean.

(30:04):
And then you know your mama and yourself is kind
of like that. So the baby brings that love and
that joy because she needs me and she wants me,
and I need to feel needed. I do. Who's the
boss of the house now? Because you got mama did
and you got your daughter. So who's running the house
Because Mama, even though it's your house, is her house.
She got away and makes me feel fifteen. I locked

(30:25):
myself up in my room about two weeks ago, and
I was like, I am fifty years and I am
locked in my own absolutely not, you know what I mean.
I went through that, but I rule. I rule my
house because not only because I pay the deals, because
I'm smart and my mother trusts me, and she likes
the fact that she's older and she can sit back
and she deserves that, and I want to give her that.

(30:47):
I'm a bit of a caterer. I love cooking, I
love entertaining, so I'm in my element. I'm fine. It's
not stopping me from doing anything except going outside to film.
My job will stop, of course, you know what I mean.
Hollywood is shut down. But otherwise I'm still We're doing this.
This is the new normal. Things like now you know
what I mean. So I got a whole production studios,
you see, I got lights, camels. You know what You've

(31:10):
been still, you've been still really busy during this time,
because let's not get a twisted. First of all, we know,
obviously you're on UMC as a House Divided. Now you're
on season two and they've added you to the cast
of that. But in addition to that, we get to
see you on Fox Soul and we get to hear
your opinion and see your personality. I feel like a
lot more than we've ever had the opportunity to do before.

(31:30):
That's true, That's true, And you know what. It came
with maturity. It came with me living and taking responsibility
for all the things that I've done in my past,
being able to point the thing, get myself, wanting to grow,
wanting to share my experiences with people because I've been
through a lot, and I've been through what most people
have gone through. I've been through the pain. I've been

(31:51):
cheated on, I've been lied on, I've lied I've done
all kinds of things. But I can say, yeah, I'm
not that person anymore, this person now, And let me share,
are the barb still chasing you? Are the barb still
chasing you around? And they still leave in comments? Right?
Let me tell you I didn't know what the hell
they were first of all. Let me just see honest,
okay and so, and I didn't know that they were

(32:11):
coming after me. Vivica Fox is the one that called.
And she texted and she says, are you okay? And
I was like, yeah, are you okay? You know? And
she said, She's like, well, you know before I said,
from what she said, all the comments, I said, comments
from who waits? She said the Barbs said, who the
hell is the Barb's girl? She said, NICKI mna fans.

(32:32):
I said, I don't know them and they don't know me,
you know. So I go on after what do I
find it? So I go on there about maybe twenty
five comments, and I was like, I give a damn
about this because I don't you know what I mean.
I'm way above anybody that want to come out to
somebody that they don't know, want to misappropriate what I
said and take it out of content. I don't have
time to be fighting that kind of fight, because we

(32:52):
are fighting a real fight right now, you know what
I mean. And so, but I didn't want to denounce
them or to exclude them and act like they didn't exist.
I did come back and say what I said is
what I said and what I meant, which was I'm
not saying that you're supposed to kids as I'm not
saying that because I don't believe in that. But what
I'm saying is pay homage to the people that are

(33:14):
there before you. And when I said bowed down, it
wasn't liful. I ain't talking about like that. Of course,
I'm just saying that music shouldn't be about a beat.
It's not my fia, it's not gangster, it's entertainment. It's music,
so let's keep it light. Well, we're not tearing each
other down. That was my point that I was making.

(33:34):
And if they want to take it out of content,
then it was like, okay, that's what y'all want to think.
But that ain't what I said. I understand that because
I actually had the opportunity to it for the first time.
Sent into an interview with Angie Martinez, and you know,
obviously we work in the same building. I love Angie,
but you know, I idolize Angie, So I always make
sure that I let her know just while listening to

(33:56):
her when I was younger and then now being able
to be in the same space that she's in, that's
always going to be amazing to me. So and she's
always like, oh, Angel, let's shut up, like we're friends.
I'm like, nah, it is really really dope. Who are
some people you look up to? Absolutely everybody? And the
reason why it's because wherever you are in your life,
you possess some type of skill to be there and

(34:18):
to stay there for however long you are. So if
you're not an able list or you're a D Lister
artist still at the D list, at the level of
D listing, you still possessed some skills in which you
you are having that position because it's not someone of
would feel that. So it's not that easy to stay relevant.
And I have kind of mastered that staying relevant with

(34:40):
a small body of work. When I came out with
Players Club, I wrote that rollercoat for a long time,
everybody feels done. I mean, I mean they push the button,
you know, dying in here, you know what I mean.
It's like, yeah, you know, and I get all my
dancers free, you know. But I'm just saying that there's
a homed that you have to pay the people as well,

(35:03):
you know what I mean, those people that have been there,
and I have that respect level. It's a lot of
younger influencers, a lot of millennials that see me and
they're like, damn you, Diamond, like you're fine, like we
love you. And I love that they share that with me,
and I love that they tell me that because it's
good for my ego too. It allows me to go, oh,

(35:24):
oh oh, that's right, because we don't always wake up
on the right side of the bay. You don't always
go you know what I mean, sometimes you need that,
and I just want to be able to share that
with other people because I'm not about tearing anybody down.
I got an opinion, definitely, and I'm going to say
that and say that you don't agree with it, I say,
you know what, yeah, Hi, we got more with Lisa

(35:46):
Ray when we come back, so don't move. It's the
Breakfast Club. Gramoney, pj Envy, Angela Yee Charlomagne, the guy
we are the Breakfast Club was still kicking in with
Lisa Ray. Now season two of House Divided. Now, I
didn't see one. I'm sorry, So I tried to watch
season two and after eight minutes, I was like, you
tried to watch I'm gonna tell you because after eight minutes,

(36:08):
I was like, I gotta go back and watch season one.
It was so much going on. So for people that
don't know about how Divided, tell them what the House
Divided is, the premise and everything. Lisa Ray was about
to come to you. She was like, what you mean
after because after because season two it was so much
going and this one, and I'm like, i gotta go back.
I'm he said that that wrong. It sounds like he
was about to say something crazy. I wish I could

(36:30):
tell you about pleasing one, but I was not in
season one and I did not watch it. I could
tell you. Get ready, here you go. Okay to show two.
This lovely lady comes in called Alexis, which is played
by Lisa Ray. You know what I mean. I come in, Um,
I am the sister to the family, but I'm almost

(36:53):
like the illegitimate the sister that had been forgotten about.
But she come and she brings the noise because of
course when somebody shows up, they don't just show up
for no reason. It's always a plot or some kind
of something going on that make you go, oh snap,
something's about to happen. And she holds a secret, you know.
She feels like she needs her do just she feels

(37:15):
like she's been in the background for long enough. Her
sister has passed, and her and her sister did not
get along. So the question then is why didn't her
and the sister get along? Why is she just not
showing up after the funeral Because I did not show
up at the funeral. I have a nief as almost
as old as I am. So we go back and forth,
you know, and then it's the well, my brother in law,

(37:39):
he has actually a young fiance. Our dynamic is what
to show us about. I don't want to say bringing
her down, but being able to have that bird in
the hand allows me to stand toe to toe with her.
And those scenes are written so great till I didn't
really have to do too much to bring her to life.

(38:01):
It was written on the paper, you know. And when
they called me and said that, hey, we got a
role for youth, you know, they always said that it's
like for me you wrote it for me, but then
I start asking make questions of how much, and then
who's in it? Then then then her Wan and they're
gonna revolve around my skilless are going to work. After
all of that, it was like I would love to
play this character. And when I got on the set,
it was easy. The crew was fantastic, everybody was prepared,

(38:27):
it was fun. And I really vowed in this time
in my career not to touch anything that's not fun anymore.
I've worked hard. I want to work smart now, you
know what I mean. I don't want to go to work.
I feel like now I did on the last few
of the single that was Stacy Damn Dead. I didn't
want to feel like what the hell? I got to
get up and you know what I mean, and got
just my personality and attitude. I don't want to feel

(38:47):
that way. I don't have to go through that anymore.
So going to that job was almost like just getting
up and just having a breath of fresh air. So
I want to touch things that make me happy, and
that role was an easy role for me. It was
it was fun role. I did like single Ladies, though
I thought you really did Sad a great job on
that show. I'm sorry you did. What didn't you like

(39:10):
about Single Ladies so much? What? What? What was? Because see,
the production of Single Ladies was fantastic, working with like
Pepa was wonderful, you know, even filming in Atlanta, I adjusted,
you know, But um, when the rivalry started, which by
the way, I never knew it had started. When it
started to get to that point, to get to that

(39:32):
point where she, you know, put the finger in my face,
it was like, what the hell just happen? You can
hear and drop on the set. It was like if
people saw coming out like Lisa, it was like yeah,
because yeah. And she started storming to her dressing room
and I was like, well, hold on, let me come
behind you so we could talk about it, you know
what I mean, I'll meet you in your dressing room
kind of thing. And from very kind of and I

(39:53):
think it was just that she was unhappy. She perhaps
didn't want to do the show anymore. And when you
are someplace that you don't want to be, you can
portrayed on other people and you feel that energy and
it's like not fair, you know what I mean. And
so then we brought in some another young lady beneath vasty,
which is beautiful, and she just slid right in. And
then for me, I was a much older one because

(40:13):
they were in their thirties. I was in my forties.
For our conversations was different, you know. Perhaps they were
talking about, you know, the new Gucci bag that was
coming out, and I was adjusting my portfolio, you know
what I mean. So it was different conversations. So we
jail to work together, but the dynamics change. And I
really liked it when Stacy was on it because you
had two sex symbols in one series. So the white

(40:36):
boys love safety basked because she had the blutchers breast
and you know whatever, and I'm the booty girl, you
know what I mean. So I'm like, you guys gave
them the basketball world. And so when she left, it
kind of took the story in a different kind of
way because the maturity level I had to either I
couldn't I couldn't dumb me down my character because she
was already established. So I didn't want to come across
as an older sister or the auntie at that time,

(41:00):
you know. So you know, when it started, you know,
getting all kind of crazy, maybe it's time to go now.
I heard that the Real Housewives reached out to you
for possibly being part of their show. Is that any
truth to that? She's differty, any truth to that? It is?
It was years ago. Um, that's not my brain. That's

(41:23):
not what I want to do. I'm not interested in
that at all. And so I declining just as an FII.
They had wanted me to be a Real Housewife at
one point as well. No, they definitely didn't want me,
but they didn't want my wife. Oh okay, that was
you my wife and she declined too. Why did she declined? Um?

(41:44):
To be honest, one, we didn't need the money. Uh
to Um, I'm not gonna let them dictate what's going
on in my house, you know what I mean? This
is you know, we have a real black family with
things that go on, and you're not gonna try to
do fighting and try to create tension in my real
household like this is I got five kids, like this
is real. Like, you're not gonna do that. So we

(42:06):
just decided to gracefully, you know, back out and say, nah,
we're good, Seana too. You know, we got enough going on,
you know what I mean? And it's like, and I
do believe in c MIN. You know some things that
c mind is just too much information. And the way
that reality TV is going now, you don't even want
your kids for watch it because you don't want that
to dictate or right their mindset and thinking that this
is cool to be disloyal, dishonest. You know, I'm walking

(42:29):
across tables on you can see first of all, that
wouldn't happen to me at all, you know what I mean,
at the time you stopped up on the table, I'm
gonna I don't have to wonder why you stopped up
on the table because wouldn't be their law. It's almost
like you weren't there at all, Like people who's doing
you know what I mean, I'm wrong for that. Yeah,
we got offered to do several shows, but if I
can't executive produce it and it can't be real. Like

(42:50):
I'll be honest with you. Some days, me and my wife,
you know, some days we allgue, some days we don't.
But you're not gonna put tension in my family for ratings.
That's not what you're gonna do. Like, yeah, we did
with everything else. I got one going to college. I
got one in high school, one going to second grade,
one going to first grade, and one is baby. Like,
we have a lot of ish going on, but I'm
not gonna put tension in there and mess up my family,
now you know what. I love that, But you're showing

(43:12):
a little old enough to hand. No kid in college.
I got five, but she's going to college next year.
She got college the one. I'm twenty one. I had
my first baby at my first baby at one, so
I'm twenty one. So yeah, all right, we got more
with Lisa Ray when we come back, don't move. It's
the breakfast club, good morning, working on a weekend, like

(43:32):
usual way health and the deep and like usual swear
they passed us. They're doing too much. Haven't done my taxes.
I'm too turned up. Virgil got a paddock on my
risk going nuts. Caught me slipping once. Okay, so what
someone hits your block up? I tell you if it
was us, man, I house in Rosewood, two plus, save

(43:54):
my days the number. But I keep waking up. No,
you see my text, baby, please say something fine by
the glass man our chiefs game, hume, gotta move on
my release, staying home. This is fame. Knockclout. I don't
even know what that's about. Watch your mouth, baby, got
an ego twice the size of the crib. I can

(44:15):
never tell it that it is what it is. But
said what I had to and did what I did,
never turned my back on EPG, got forbid. Virgil got
the paddock on my riss doing front flips, giving you
my number, but don't hit me, you don't. I'm dumb,
working on a weekend like usual, way off and it
deepen like usual. Swear they passed us. They're doing too much,

(44:38):
havn't done my taxes. I'm too turned up. Virgil got
a paddock on my risk, going nuts. Call me slipping once. Okay,
so what someone hits your block up? I tell you
it was us man a house in Rosewood, too plush,
it's cool man got red bottoms off. Life is good.

(45:01):
Hart stout for the chief's ring on the fringer little

being the trout look, I was in the trout circle.
It ain't been the same fence branded. She was starting

made them look go a head while and this who

(45:21):

that who gave you to get that? Put him centrol lick.
Too many convicts that rolled me to play in this
drab nine since getting old sum and this who they
had the counter light lighting it up, handing body get it.
I'm on the PGA lighting it up. Oh, I'm trying

(45:41):
to take that for London. And then it's extended. They
got a stretcher. How we're gonna die? But it's yeah,
I ride for my I lied red something poor high
class made it we rich. Yeah, I was at the
bend or got a bin out for a clouds. Oh,
it's like a shan or little on my nick and
my VISI I got thing told that top different language

(46:04):
is in my blood. It's Hartstotle for the chiefs ring
on the finger. Look, how the Fluke were not the
Spain to be in my domain. Automotives who drawed three
dollars on the ring called ben the trout. Look, I
was in the tchout circle. Ain't been the same fence.
That's by the time I call a savine. I got
tremendo for new fettuccini fat door carried the pinky fat

(46:27):
or the FIGI I'm in the loup with Davou. I'm
in the loud which want broken? I put the fast

That man goes up the hearst Cosmeil called a bird
who gets birthday? You a manni yago and ain't yeah
how you spin and got dick. I'm having fun with that,
going birking hartstotars for the chiefs ring on the finger. Look,

(46:52):
how the flu are not the Spain to be in
my domain. Automotives who drawed three dollars on the ring
called being the trout. Look, I was in the holding.
Everybody in dj Envy Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We
are the breakfast club. We're still kicking it. We're still
kicking it with Lisa Ray, you know, with you and

(47:13):
the Brat being both in the industry, right, and let's
say somebody goes at the Brad or somebody goes at you.
Do you guys have each other's back immediately or do
you call each other first and be like, look, I'm
about to strike, let me know if it's okay. Um
I will say this. When she went to jail and
she you know, did the whole you know thing for me.
She called me and she was distraught. And when she

(47:34):
told me I wanted to big system mode up. Okay, okay, okay, Um,
you're gonna be in trouble, you know what I mean,
it was like, damn it, control you know what kind
of thing? Um? But what mostly what I thought is
where her heart was. It was just a moment of instanity,
you know what I mean. It was just that moment
of I mean to you know what I mean, But
sometimes you got to pay the price. And because she

(47:56):
owned up to that and she did that, it was like,
let's just forgive yourself, you know what I mean and
move on. I noticed now since she is on the
Ricky Smiley Show and then she does Destination, me and
Nicole Murphy had some you know exchanges and things, you
know what I mean. And somebody sent me a blur
or what my sister said, and she was like, yeah,
well my sister don't mess with nobody, but you don't

(48:18):
want to mess with her either, like she's a pump.
And they were like yeah, because when she come around,
she showed get you together and she was like, oh yeah,
because I'm definitely scared, always been scared up. And it
was like, oh wait, wait, wait a minute, what you're saying.
You know, so we have this fun way between each
other to be able to have each other's back since
we were young, you know what I mean? So I
know that she gonna have my back no matter what.
And she has a voice she could let from the quirl.

(48:39):
Know have you seen Nicole Monky at all? Have y'all pastors?
I mean, Hollywood is small and lay is small. Have y'all. No.
So I asked her to come see me. You know
what do you mean to ask to come see? You? Like,
come to the crib, pull up, let's have a conversation.
I feel like I feel like when you have a
confrontation with somebody and you sat on somebody's chouching. You know,

(49:00):
said that I was a liar, and I'm telling you no, no,
I didn't lie. If you still think I'm lying, let's
talk about it. Come on, let's meet. I wouldn't come see.
I'm like the brad. I'm scared right now too. I
wouldn't come see. But I think women. I think women
should be able to come together and say because because
it's a thing. When I was talking about this, I

(49:20):
was like, well, am I talking about this something divorce
for ten years? Now? You know what I mean? And
they pushed their words so much, but it's like this,
I mean, girl, you know better you when you sit
there and lie in front of the world, you're calling
me a liar. And we talked about this, We discussed
this already, So now you were nigging And do you

(49:42):
really want me to pull out those repeats. I'm not
that kind of woman to want to do that, but
if you make me, I can and I will. And
if you keep mentioning my name, that's not a good
thing either. I don't want the beast. We don't have
to have the beat. I ain't got to see you.
You do absolute be nothing for me, nothing, and I

(50:02):
do nothing for her. But let's keep it cordial. Aware
when I see you, I don't want to flap the shop.
Let's let's just keep it cool. And that's my point.
And y'all had a conversation already. 'all spoke about this
before all of this. He has receipts at ray Lewis
coming out party. He had a coming out party. Um,
wait a minute, what secret party was this Hall of Fame?

(50:27):
He had a party here and I saw her and
we want in the back and we discussed it. I said,
you know, she said, all these years, you know, I'm
glad that we're just now having this conversation because I've
been wanting to share this with you. And it's like,
but let's get down to it then, because I don't
want to be able to have things between us where
we see each other. At the party, we si eyed
and each other and nobody knows why the energy is changed.

(50:49):
And it was for what, you know what I mean.
I came obviously to have a good time. So when
we talked about it, and she confessed, it's like, you
know what it's like when you're a mother your kid,
Like you got you tell me too? Um cool, if
you lie, I'm gonna get on your last you know
what I'm saying. It's like that you sat down and
we talked whatever, and I was like that I ain't
gonna be your friend, you know what I'm saying, But

(51:10):
that I got it, you know what I'm saying. I
could walk with and this and go. She fought all
that back up when she lied. So for me and
let me be honest and say that path it was
me because it was the whole Laylor shot and I
quan four quad thing that came out with Nicole Murphy.
I made a comment on the shave Room and said,

(51:31):
seem Nicole again, you know what I mean? Like and
for me, because we're on a small circle of Hollywood,
it was like, girl, like we all friend, what you're
doing is what I meant. I meant it. Did I
know that it was gonna go viral and get picked up?
And just no, I didn't, you know what I mean?
But since it did, I couldn't take it back. You know,

(51:51):
I meant that, you know what I mean? And that
people took that at the Holy Surrey and saying that
you know, she took her husband for her from her
and I was like, no, that's not what I said.
I did say that she slept with my husband. I
said that. But what people don't realize is when you
get a divorce, sometimes you find yourself back together being
a friend and repairing the damage. We're cool, so we

(52:14):
have nothing to lose. So when we have our conversations
about I just want to ask you, you know always
that you did blah blah blah, did you ever do that?
And I'm like, no, I didn't do that, or yeah
I did. We've had those kind of conversations, you know
what I mean. Yeah, so he told me. Besides, I
got receipt. Besides I talked to her when it happened
back then too, when she was dating Michael Strahan. She

(52:36):
knows this. That was what the conversation that we had
when we finally sat down about, you know what I mean.
So for her to bring that back up and to
still but it's kids of things. I'm sure she was
trying to save her ass, you know what I mean,
trying to devote whatever and kind of whatever. And she
her damage control whoever she had, did not do a
great job at all, because when she came out and
said that she didn't kiss him, it was like, what

(52:59):
are we looking at? Bit this right here clearly to
show that you nip blocking what do you mean? So
that is what angered majority of the black Hollywood accesses
that her background, because we was like, what is she
talking about? And so that's what I mean. It was
almost like we know that this woman been married to
this man for twenty years. Girl, you know what I mean,

(53:20):
like you we don't do our stuff, you know what
I mean, But you don't do it amongst friends. And
that's what I meant. It's like you got I got
to watch you around our hussins and our boyfriends and
not for y'all places when you then maybe you don't
need to be here. We can't trust you. And that's
what that is. Si Leshan and say anything to you
about it or be like, well let me hear your story, girl,

(53:40):
because it doesn't matter about like a story because they
were still married. You know how she feels, you know
what I mean. It's like it's public. It's embarrassing inside
your home. Like you say, envy, It's like you can
cause havoc inside of our home. We got kids. She
had to handle and deal with that first, you know

(54:01):
what I'm saying. But we was like the bar We
just came out like you know what I mean. We
didn't condone that. You know, like I say, we all
got cousins in our closet. We've all done some stuff
that we feel like I'm going to talk about or
I'm sorry I did that. I won't ever do that again.
We've an't done that, but not amongst friends. Gotta have

(54:21):
some loyalty and boundary somewhere, and she has none. That's
no way you could have explained that picture either, like
there's no real explanation. That feels innocent, like there was
just girl because what you over in Italy four? You're
doing what right? And you don't just kiss your friends
on the mouth like that? Nope, not at all. Did

(54:41):
you call? It's like, hey, he's in town, and are
you here too? Oh? I was gonna go over and
have lunch with him. Okay, that's what you do. That's
respect if you have any you know what I mean,
if you've learned that from anything else that you've done,
and because we were friends, it's almost like I know
what you've done. I knew what you did. Less you
know absolutely, So you're trying to fool up and it's

(55:05):
not cool. It's not cool. It's not cool. All right, Well,
Lisa Ray, we appreciate you for joining us today. Season
two of House Divided is out right now, and thank
you so much for checking in. You'd be safe for
that quarantine. I appreciate you guys too, especially up there
in New York. Alright, and give and give I love
to your family as well. Love absolutely, Okay, all right,

(55:25):
Lisa Ray is the Breakfast Club, Good morning. This is
the rule of Report with Angela Man. This was so dope.
So Dave Chappelle went ahead and released a new Netflix special.
It's called eight forty six. Now it's called eight forty
six because that's the time he was born. And of course,

(55:47):
as you know what, George Floyd, that's how long the
police officer, former police officer Shavin had his knee on
George Floyd's neck. So a lot of things were discussing
on here, and I thought it was pretty amazing. It
wasn't even necessarily like a stand up comedy. There were
some funny parts, but it was more him having a
conversation with some punchlines. As he called it, a talk

(56:10):
with punchlines. So here he is responding to Don Lemon,
who feels like celebrity should have been more vocal. So
the other night, I'm in my little clubhouse and I'm
watching Don Lemon. He says, where are all these celebrities?
Why aren't you talking? You said everybody. I was screaming
at the TV. I dare you to save me. Has
anyone ever listened to me? Do comedy? Have I not

(56:33):
ever said anything about these things before? So now all
of a sudden, this expects me to step in front
of the streets and talk over the work these people
are doing as a celebrity. Answer me, do you want
to see a celebrity right now? Do we give a
with jall rule things? Yeah? I completely agree. I mean

(56:54):
we said that on end when I was I was
actually watching it that night and he was like, where
are the celebrities? Where are you? Ye? I'm thinking to myself, like,
why are we looking for celebrities at a time like this?
We need to just be pulling each other in, just
people at a time like this. We all need to
support each other. I'm not looking for what so and
so has to say, or what this person has to say,
or like Davy Chappelle always says what Jarrou has to say,

(57:15):
Like we should be pulling each other in. Who cares
what celebrities have to say in my opinion? All right?
In addition to that, he talks about Candice Owen and
her comments where she was saying that George Floyd is
not a hero and he was an addict and all
kinds of negative things about him, calling him a criminal.
Here's what he had to say about Candice Owen. I
can't get that number out of my head because it

(57:37):
was my time of birth or my birth certificate. I
was born at eight forty six in the morning. Nick
killed in eight minutes and forty six seconds. I watched
everything everybody says. I think Candice Owen's trying to convince
White America don't worry about it. He's a criminal anyway.
I don't care what did. I don't care if personally

(58:01):
came to someones in her stinky. I don't know if
it stinks, but I imagine it does. If I ever
find out, I'll let you know for sure. I'll tell
I go Zelia Banks, I'll tell all right. He managed
to get in that little shot a little joke about
a Zelia Banks too as well during that time. Yeah,
so I highly recommend you guys watched this. It's like

(58:22):
less than a half an hour, so it's not super long,
but I thought it was very powerful. And he also
gives it up to the younger people right now who
were leading things where he show him did he do it? Commo?
So there was people, it was a crowd and all that.
So you see some people with masks on and it
looks like they were social distancing. Dianelle was there shout
out to Danielle Rowlings and he did this. I think

(58:43):
he filmed it last week on the sixth. Okay, so
maybe things are just starting to open up. Is that
this week? I don't even know what day it is,
but yeah, so he did and people were his family
was there because he references that his family was there
also when you watch the special, So make shall y'all
check that out now, Terrence Jay, he is trending yesterday
and that is for some comments during an IG live

(59:04):
conversation he hadn't. By the way, this is an old
video that somebody I guess reposted and we'll explain more
about it. But here's what happens in their conversation. Listen,
let me just school you on something. Let me school you.
Talk to me. This ain't all about your family. Okay,
your family can't tell you out of this one. But
let me tell you some my family. Tell somebody I'm

(59:25):
talking about family. I don't. I don't never need them
to bail me out of nothing. Something. They raised me,
They raised you. The other thing, I'm great because of
me I'm not because I'm great because of the tribe,
repect the tribe, which is crazy. And I told everybody's
a joke him and they are friends. They like they
are friends. They were at the rally with each other,

(59:46):
they go, they frequently in each other's houses like they
are real friends. Yes, so Terence Jay had to clear
things up online yesterday and let people know, you, guys,
this was a parody. This was not something real, he said.
This show is literally a fake roast written by Marlin
on both of our pages. Y'all tried it though. The
Awful Truth with Me and Marlin is a comedy, parody show,

(01:00:09):
not real. The segment is called what Haters Say, New
episode today. Please tell the people in the back they
was on his ass for that one man. He was
trending and they was going in on him. They definitely were.
So I don't know, people are crazy, but that didn't
work out so well. All right, I'm Angela Yee and

(01:00:30):
that is your rumor report. All right, thank you, miss ye. Now, um,
Donkey to Day is up next. Charlemagne is not in today,
so we're opening up the phone lines. Who you want
to give Donkey to Day to eight hundred five eight five,
one oh five one. Donkey of the Day is up next,
it's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, It's time for Donkey
of the Day. I'm a Democrat, so being Donkey of

(01:00:54):
the day a little bit of a club bitches. Now,
I've been called a lot of my twenty three years,
but donkey ever baying from your wife? Hello? Who's this? Hey? Hey?
This is Jay? Hey Jay? Turn your radio down? Brother? Hey,
hey Jay? Who you won't give donkey to this morning? Jane?

(01:01:16):
And who's gonna be a radiom? Gonna be here alive? Right? Yes,
I'll get fired. Oh yeah, First, you can't get you
out here. You just cursed, you cursed, get us fired, Jay?
Come on, Oh okay, drags down. I want to get
a job, my job donkey today. You know, so you're

(01:01:38):
sexual workers and you recognizing the central workers. They never
off specialty has your stage. I'm a garbage fana. So
we had to be out. We had to be out
here since the day down and the garbage is doubled
and we deal with everybody's charis right hey, and uh,
it's just that to find me is just a little
bit don't make sense that the grocery market, grocery store

(01:01:59):
workers getting up the leaven Worth. But we're the ones
off the chap in the trash off the street. Yeah,
and we appreciate you, brother, which is a super important job.
Absolutely right. Let me ask you a question though, that
garbage book that shoots out the sanitation truck, right, has
that good of us smacked? You jumped, fell on your

(01:02:19):
clothes in your face. Oh yeah, oh yeah, so as
you picked the garbage truck. Okay, that's no problem because
you're in a machine. But when you go to jump it,
you're jumping it with everyone's garbage. And yeah, you desern't bonus,
you deserve has it? Hey? Yeah? My truck, the roan
probably thirty thousand pounds of garbage a days. That's discussed

(01:02:41):
one truck. Wow, Well, thank you so much. Man. We
appreciate you. The one time that one of them garbage
trucks built that good on my car was so tight
my car was smelling for days. Hello, who's this toya? Hey, toy?
Who you gonna get? Donkey too? Quincy and so my
ass he teated all with the girl that shaped like

(01:03:01):
an eight year old boy. I don't hate on the
girl now, what that girl did you? I'm not he
ain't your old boys, your old boy. That's not hating,
that's fun. No, maybe that's what he likes. Oh no,
I see he like everything. He like everything. Honey, he

(01:03:22):
for everybody, for everybody. Cast out and tell no lie
did you leave him? Right? My god? Together oh my god?
Still together? No, we're not together no more. I am
double sure. I am so we would have to give

(01:03:42):
you a double donkey. I know right, No, it ain't happening.
I'm a right. It ain't good that. It ain't that
good anyway, Okay, I was thinking it all right? For hello,
who's this? What's going on? This is definitely are you brother?
Who you gonna give the donkeys you today? Oh? My dollar,

(01:04:03):
I give it to my great mother. She tells me,
I'm picking up my son last night. I said, all right, cool,
come through as I'm coming through. She touches on. Never
mind is setting the third as she does all the time.
And then the next day, so I gets going to text,
you're dead people not coming back up? This fun? How how? Yeah?
That sounds like a little bipolar brother. The other day

(01:04:24):
I was gonna give her a hundred to you for
a hundred dollars. I don't give her a hundred dollars
because I gave her a hundred dollars she said, Oh
you were dead be because why you can't give up
white one fifty one sixty two hundred when I asked,
you asked for one hundred. When I'm closed to through? Yeah, man,
I fail for you, brother? How much? Some time? Much longer?
You gotta deal with this? Oh my gosh, my baby

(01:04:46):
is three time? You got fifteen years? Brother, I'm sorry
for you. Enjoy the ride, my best rule? All right? Brother? Hello?
Who's this Jill? How are you doing that to me?
What's up? Geo? What's going on? Nothing much? First of all,
I just want to say, I'll following your boots this man.
I'm getting that real estate together. Good man, good man,

(01:05:07):
generation of wealth. Who you want to give donkey too? Brother?
I want to give it to Joe Biden because just
like exactly what you said, the man is like two
steps away from being See now, every single time he
says something, no one understands what he's saying. And you know,
if we end up voter for his man, we got
a long roll ahead. So he gets donkey today. All right, well,

(01:05:30):
thank you so much, brother. All right, Charlemagne is out
eight hundred five eight five one oh five one. We
opened up the phone line so anybody could give donkey
up the day. Now when we come back. He was
reading me this interesting email as she received, and you
were very upset about it. Now, now let's open up
the phone line. Let's talk about it. Now, explain the email,
all right. So this guy wrote about his experience. He

(01:05:52):
was dancing with the girl. He's twenty three years old,
and they were at a bar, and he offered to
buy her a drink. So he goes to get a bear.
He tells the bartender whatever she wants. The girl then
orders four double shots of Don julio as for her
and her friends. Right, and he paid for his bear
and left. So he didn't pay the bill, and the

(01:06:13):
girl was very upset about it. And so some people
feel like what you did, tell her whatever she wants, No,
you would drink, not you and your friends. I'm gonna
buy you a drink, one drink. I'm gonna buy it
for you. You come back with four, I'm out peace,
pay for your drink three hundred and twenty five dollars.
Oh hell, he no, So what's the problem. So some

(01:06:38):
people feel like, well, he shouldn't have said anything you
want if he didn't mean it. And some people feel
like she was wrong for taking advantage of him saying
whatever you want. No, that's what she gets. She had
to pay that three hundred and whatever doll and then
he's twenty three years old. I feel like we've done
that to you. Envy. What been at a bar? And
was it birthday time or something? I feel like we

(01:07:00):
were all out of towns where we were all at
the bar and we all ordered a bunch of drinks
and put it on your bell like that happened you
might have And if I said I'm just gonna buy
you a drink, I probably call a mix the next
day and said I only I only try to pay
for one drink. I don't know where these other drinks
came from. But let's open up the phone lines eight
hundred five A five one on five one. What are

(01:07:21):
your thoughts? Was this god supposed to play for all
their drinks? I say, hell no, no, he said, I
will pay for your drink drink to be a baller.
Whatever you want. It's not me whatever you want. No,
he said, I'm gonna buy you a drink, not four drinks,
and then she never whatever she wants yes to her
to drink, not you and your your three friends and

(01:07:43):
double specify that double shots three hundred and nah not
be you on your own eight hundred five eight five
one on five one call us up. What do you think?
It's the breakfast Club? Come morning in right now at
your opinion to the Breakfast Club. Top eight hundred five
eight five one five one the Breakfast Club. It's topic

(01:08:07):
time called eight hundred five eighty five one oh five.
Want to join it to the discussion with the Breakfast Club.
Talk about it morning. Everybody is DJ Envy Angela Yee,
Charlomagne the guy we all the breakfast Club. Now, if
you just joined us, you were telling me about this email.
Explain to the people what this email is all about. Yes,

(01:08:31):
so it wasn't an email. But this guy told his
story and he was saying that he was at a bar,
he was dancing with a girl, and then he told
he went to buy himself a drink and he told
the server anything she wants, whatever she wants. The girl
then ordered four double shots of Don Julio nineteen forty two.
They were seventy five dollars each, and he ended up

(01:08:52):
not paying for it, and she was very upset about that.
And some people feel like, you did tell her whatever
she wants, and you should have paid that three hundred
and twenty five dollars. Bell other people felt like, that's right,
she took advantage. You should have left. What do you think?
I know what you think? Um, I mean, like I
said before, No, I said, yeah, I'll buy you a drink,
not you and your friends, and then you're gonna get

(01:09:12):
a little disrespectful and double shot to drink. Nah, and
get down Holy Year nineteen forty two. On top of it, Nah,
you got a whole at. You got a whole at.
You gotta pay for that yourself. Three hundred dollars you
tried to get me. Now you pay that. I'm out.
I'll take my little bed. That costs me too, ninety
nine And I'm gone. And you feel how you feel.
You just don't disrespect somebody like that. Take somebody's kindness
is weakness. No, he said, I got you as a drink.

(01:09:33):
He was trying to talk to you, not talk to
you and your three friends. No, you're on your own
with that one? What is just ordered that nineteen forty
two double shot just for herself? If you'd ordered those
four for herself, then I still can't mess with you.
Just one, but just one but for herself. But it
is still expensive. One double shot is seventy five dollars.
That's fine. I would be I would, I would, I
would be a little up tight, but one shot is fine,

(01:09:54):
but not four? Nah? What do you think? He? Well,
My thing is this, I wouldn't. First of all, personally,
I would never do anything like that. I think is
whacked that she did that. Um So, as much as
I always like to ride for my women, it's hard
for me to say that this was okay. Because the
thing is also what if he just didn't have that

(01:10:14):
much money? What if he literally just didn't have it?
Take advantage of people like that? Now. I have done
things in the past where I've gone on very expensive
dates with people and went to and they'll be like,
you picked the restaurant and You're like, I'm gonna go here,
and I've done that, but it would be just me.
So yeah, Well, let's go to the phone lines eight
hundred five eight five one O five one Hello who's this.

(01:10:38):
This is Jessica. Hey, Jessica, come on then, where you're
calling from? Nor New Jersey? Nor New Jersey? Now you
heard that situation? Is she foul or not? She was
very foul, so you don't like and not consider her?
Her friends they were bruke to go then looking for
free not just one free double shot. If a guy

(01:11:01):
offers you a drink and you're with your friends, you
think that he should get drinks for your friends too,
or no, I'm just curious, no, no, no, sitting together
and so I want to buy y'all something that drinks
and that's something different. But he's gonna for her drink.
So it was like they were just broken toe. There's
something good old you know, the hoods my personal Okay, Hello,

(01:11:25):
who's this? It's Donnie Man Jacksonville. Donnie, what's up? What
do you think was you're gonna say? Johnny, I could
already tell the way you did that little laugh when
you answer it's Donnie, you know, and be real with you.
You know what I'm saying. And Yo, it's the girl man,
like you know you got by the base base of

(01:11:46):
the price. Man, that's down. Hoo yod nineteen forty two.
That's already like in some in some places it's like
forty five. So you got there in the street and
you get a double shot. That's crazy. Like I didn't
come for you and three other people. I didn't come
about the old couver. I can't for one product. Now.
I just want to say, I can't tell that you
buy nineteen forty two in the club because you knew

(01:12:08):
all the price ranges. That's right, Yeah, yeah, okay, well yeah,
it's the girl. Man. If you come through, you come through.
What say If I come through and I'll say, yo,
I'm buy you whatever you want, I'm saying you, not
everybody else. But if I want four double shots. Now,
if you want four double shots, I can't mess with

(01:12:29):
you because you're alcoholic. If you need four double shots,
you're alcoholic. I can't messaging. Thank you, brother, five eighty five,
one on five one. Now, this this woman she said, okay,
he said I'll buy you one drink. And this woman
she did not say I'll buy you one drink. That's
what said. He said, get whatever you whatever he told
the bartend or whatever she wants, yeah, whatever she wants,

(01:12:51):
meaning for herself, not I'm gonna buy four double shots
too near my girl. That's open to interpretation. Nope, and
that's why she had to pay for her damn self.
But eight five eight five, one oh five one, and
she right call us now it's the breakfast club. Good morning.

(01:13:12):
Call had your opinions to the breakfast club topic on
eight five, one oh five one morning. Everybody is DJ
Envy and Jela Yee, Charlomagne the guy we all the
breakfast club. Now, if you just joined us, you were
telling us this story. You want to explain the story
for people that just tune in. Yeah, So this guy
was dancing with a girl at the bar and he

(01:13:34):
told the bartender, hey, whatever she wants. She ordered four
shots a Don Julio nineteen forty two. My kind of girl,
you know, nineteen forty two. Now I wouldn't have ordered
four double shots, but that's what she did. And he
actually did not end up paying the pill and bill
and just left and she was upset. No, she shouldn't
be upset. She got a whole let you ordered four
double shots, I said you. I said, order what you like,

(01:13:56):
not with you and your friends like, No, that's foul.
That is foul. Let's go to the fourth last. Hello,
who's this Charisma? Hey, Charisma? Where you calling the front
Michigan de Troy? What do you think? What are your thought?
But I know I know what you think. Come on,
give it to us. Um I think the dog was wrong. No,

(01:14:18):
and that's when she wanted. That's her and her friends wanted. No.
He said, she's good. Order you a drink for yourself.
He did not say that. Stop putting words in his mouth.
He never said, ordered drinks only for yourself. You're good.
He said, get whatever you want. Why he bit off order?
He could? He shouldn't have been saying that. No, it
was for her. Order a drink. He was thinking like

(01:14:39):
maybe a sweet drink, something cute, maybe one shot, not
four double shots. He was thinking, better be grateful. Well
he had paid. She said she would have ordered more
than that. What she would have ordered for yourself half
for the bar see see and you would have to
pay half of the bar. I would have loved you
to order me a bottle. That bottle would have came you.

(01:15:01):
And he had jetted out, Hello, who's this? Who's going on?
To brothers? Tyrone from Manhattan? Tyrone? What's up? Man? What
are your thoughts. Brother, hey man, let me tell you
good thoughts. What's what happened? Big brothers? Let me tell
you it was dancing with the young lady and everything.
You know, this happened to you too. This happened to me,
bro I'm talking. This is me right here. Yep, most death.

(01:15:22):
What happened. She shouldn't get thirsty too quick, you know
what I'm saying, Because you're just on the dance for
fire me and talk you want to? Don't you want
to buy me a drink? I said, okay, you know
you said? I said, okay, no problem, went up to
the bar and everything. Now she didn't tell me she
came with no fun. So I did have to go
to the bathroom. So I went to her. I said, listen,
get what you want to the room. Went to the restaurroom.

(01:15:47):
Next thing, you know, I seen about like four shots
of Hennessy and some sharrock for each each blood that's
with the hennessy. I'm listening to everything. So I said, uh,
Schools said, you're gonna drink call that because I won't drink.
I said, you're gonna drink call that? She said, oh no, no,
I've got to tell you my friends and everything. I said,
your friends. I say, I don't even know you, so

(01:16:09):
I act like my phone round. I act like my
phone long right. So I said, huh, I can't hear you.
I can't. I said, let me take this phone call
right quick, so I knock out. You know, I've seen
I seen the bar. I see the bartender serve with
somebody else. So I said, excuse me, sir, how much
is a one Hedden see in in a sharrock of
course and everything? He said fifty something else I say, okay, no, cross,

(01:16:31):
I am gonna pay for the one. I am gonna
pay for the one that the girl offered, now, you know,
because I did say get what you want, right, but
I tell her get for the whole bar and everything.
I don't know who she thought I was. I wouldn't
know the Jimmy Buffaler, nobody coming up in there buying
everybody drinks. So you know, so I paid for that,
and then I just exited exit out from the bar,
big brothers and says, I ain't mad at you, man,

(01:16:52):
I wanted I want to pay for that one. Here's
the discind It sounds to me like your guys need
to be more specific you can't just say at what
you want. What you have to say is, hey, you're
allowed to order one drink for only yourself. No, you
can't say that, no, no, no, no no. You say
get what you want and everything she would have said, like, okay,
I thought my can I get something for my girlfriend's too. Now,
if you think get what you want she was gonna

(01:17:13):
get and she was gonna drink all those drinks, then
that would have been a different story. But she wasn't
drinking all those drinks. She got it for right, right, Yeah,
but you shouldn't even bought that one drink. You should
have let a word. You're gonna try to play me.
I pay for all of them, four drinks two hundred dollars.
Well you know what, ey be a gentleman. I got
to say. No, I couldn't have don that, big brother,
because I did say get what you want. But that

(01:17:35):
was just personally for us, so I said, I'd be nice.
I could have just walked out though the thing. And
like you said, I could have just walked out because
I act like my phone was ringing and you know,
I escaped. I could have just did the same thing
what you just said. You sneak out? Did you sneak
out after that? Did you sneak out after that? After
I paid the fifty dollars, yep, I was gone. I
was gonna let them, let them get stuck with the

(01:17:56):
rest of them pay on their own drink. You didn't
want to say snuck out. He just was on. He
was just going to seconds. All right, thank you? Brother? Hello?
Who's this? Hey? This is a kidney from New Jersey,
a kid kidney whatever would be? What's up with kidney?
I'm chilling, man, chilling and chilling. Who needs a kidney? Now?

(01:18:18):
Kenni kenya? All right? So what's up man? Did this
happen to you? Brother? Yeah? Um? One time I was
partying and queens and Jamaica and Jamaica Queens and the
Jamaica spot. So I give a guard. I saw I
was suck for four friends or whatever was in the

(01:18:39):
was in the party. So I went over and I'll
started talking to one of them and say, yo, we
what we want to drink or whatever? I buy you
a drink whatever you want or whatever. And I give
the girl a hundred to go and buy a drink,
and she came back. So when she was coming back whatever.
She said ten to a drin So I'm thinking, oh,
she's gonna give you my change man. So I was like,

(01:19:00):
yo with the change up whatever. She said, No, she's
because you bought drinks for all her friends. Damn, that's
there's nothing you could do in that position. You gave
her cash. But well that's crazy. Like I came to
you and and U ask you will talk to you,
ask you if I want you to drinks a hundred dollars,

(01:19:23):
you try to be cute and give her a hundred
dollars bill like you just had it like that. And
then she said, oh god that he gave me a
hundred dollars. That was dumb, bro. They got you im.
Queens from Queens got you. Brother. There's no way you
supposed give anybody no money. You should have said what
do you want? You go get the drink or you
should say or to yourself a drink. Well, no I'll

(01:19:45):
do that, No I do that, I do that. No.
If I'm so I'm going about to drink myself, I'm
not doing Are you giving ten dollars? Here's ten dollars.
If you give anybody money, they never really bring you
back a change. I just remember me as a child,
and your mom give you, let's say, twenty dollars and
they black go get one thing. You don't really give
your mom to change back unless they really ask. Other

(01:20:05):
than that, you try to hold that right. They got you, bro,
all right? What's the moral of the story. The moral
of the story. What is feeling like is that y'all
got to be more specific. When you want to offer
somebody you're drink in the club, make sure that they
know this drink is just for you. Or you know what?
I think I changed the moral after talking to him.
Just give cash, but only give what you want to spend.

(01:20:25):
So if you give somebody twenty dollars here drinks on me,
go ahead. Or what you do is when you buy
four shots, one bat to kill it, the other three
just be water. You know what you need to do
for guys I would say this, or for women because
women buy drinks too. I was a seventh student and
she bought a guy drink once. What you need to
do is ask them what they want and you order it. Yep,
you could do that too, all right? What we got

(01:20:47):
rumors on the way, Yes, let's talk about Robert de
Niro he's discussing raising biracial children. All right, we'll get
into that next. Keeping lock this to Breakfast Club. Good morning,
the Breakfast Club. It's about this report Angela Yee on

(01:21:09):
the Breakfast Club. So a little Twist was on Meana
Say What's podcast Mina's House, and he talked about taking
some charges for Justin Bieber in his early career. Listen
to this. I still love Justin to this day. But
his team had their knee metaphorically on my neck for
years just so they could keep one side team sold

(01:21:30):
Justin them. They could put that on me in his
early career because if they would have put weed charges
on Justin in his early career, it would have been
bad on them. So I gotta call one day saying, Twist,
do you really love this kid? I said, yes, so cool.
If you love him, then we're gonna take the heat
from because you can come off a little weed charge
you're associated with a little Wayne your rapper. Yeah, I

(01:21:52):
mean that's what he was supposed to do. I mean,
if if he's a moneymaker in the crew and he's
a weed charge and yes he's a pop off this
and if you take the weed chap means nothing. Yeah,
that's what you're supposed to do. But in return, Justin
Bieber and his camp is supposed to make sure that
you're good financially, make sure you held it down, so
they should hold you down, I would assume, right, Well, yeah,
I mean he look, he used to stay at Justin

(01:22:13):
Bieber's house and drive his cars. He said, though it
did get to a point where I didn't even have
to be there at times, and they were putting it
all on him like twisted it, twisted it, twisted it. So, yeah,
they should have held that man down. If they didn't,
that's what they should have DoD. I also felt like
smoking weed ain't that big of a deal. Like, but
back then, when you're a pop artist and you were

(01:22:33):
like with eighteen nineteen, twenty years old, and you know,
people are bringing their kids to come see you, you
don't want that on you. I smoke we with Justin
Bieber before you did too. So Robert de Nia opened
up about raising six by racial children, and here's what
he had to say when he was on the Tonight
show starring Jimmy Fallon. My children are all half black.

(01:22:54):
My kids well, in some instances, like you know, they
know and we don't say it, not much, but it's
something when you hear parents say that. They tell their
kids keep your hand when you stopped, stopped by anybody
or cops, keep your hands on the steering wheel, don't
make a sudden move, don't put your hands below, don't

(01:23:15):
do this. You understand that. It's uh, that's scary. It
has to change. I forget. He does have six kids,
six kids, so you know. And yeah, so he has
his own thoughts on things and on police and defunding
the police and all of that. All right, Now, let's
discuss some new music that came out today. There's a

(01:23:36):
lot of new things happening. Um Pop Smoke Make It
Rain featuring Rowdy Rebel. A lot of people are very
excited about this record. Pop Smokes album was supposed to
come out, but they pushed it back because of everything
with the civil unrest, because of George Floyd's murder, and
so here is a snippet of that. Look I'm in

(01:23:56):
Karina or whoever I'm in Karina, whoever much? Who double
I got? The thick you I'm making? Who elver I'm making?
RNA Who welcome simmer Cools The flue double, I got
the home makes you happen with these thing not a
hunting truck food, keep duping until the feast, wanted to drug,
keep kissing and kill Drake, keep dumping, Run Ricky Heat running,

(01:24:18):
run Ricky heap funny. All right, So that was pop
Smoke Making Rain featuring Rowdy Rebel. Now and I don't
wait to his album. I know they pushed it back,
but I can't wait to his album. I know right.
And um here's the Baby rock Star remix and Black
Lives Matter number one on the charts. I'm never vicariously.
Oh that ain't gon biasedly pushing negative narratives. I'm ready, though,
Cops want to pull me over, embarrassed, abusing plow You

(01:24:39):
never knew me. Thought I was arrogant as a juvenile.
Police pull their guns like they scared of me. And
we used to hi Cracker's treat. It's not that's the
scared thing. Won't anything. We're good at it. Then we cherishing.
Now we y'all fan up in the coming back for
the air thing rock stars. Just watch the news. They
burning cop cars kill another new break the loud and
call us I lost what happened? Want us to keep
it peaceful. Should have seen him hate and seen him

(01:25:00):
about my middle finger. Baby spit Man. The Baby is
one of my favorite artists right now. Also a Little
Baby too well, and we are going to play a
Little Baby the Bigger Picture. He put that out and
people are loving this song. And before we get to that, though,
I also want to point out that Spike Lee the

(01:25:20):

check that out. It's um about the Vietnam War and
four black men in their sixties meet up for a
happy present day reunion at a hotel in Vietnam. So
they're called the Blood. They call themselves Bloods, and that's
kind of what this movie is about. But everybody's saying
it's a great movie. I haven't seen it yet, but

(01:25:41):
it's on Netflix, so I know everybody's always thinking about
good things that they can watch on television. So that's
something that's out now, just the FYI. So we're gonna
