BTS and Halsey shut down the 2019 Billboard Music Awards with an explosive live television debut performance of their smash hit single, "Boy With Luv."
The Korean supergroup and alt-pop songbird brought all the moves to the BBMAs to celebrate the collaborators' live world premiere of their new bop. The bandmates — V, J-Hope, RM, Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, and Suga — kicked off their explosive set with some highly-anticipated presentation with some high-energy footwork and choreography in front of a "Persona" ticket booth set design mimicking the same setting shown in the groundbreaking music video for the record. The "Colors" songstress eventually popped into the mix, dressed in black attire and sporting a black, long-haired wig, for a quick dance break before making a quick costume change before reuniting with the group onstage again.
Both artists were nominated in two categories tonight. Halsey was up for Top Female Artist and Top Selling Song for "Without Me," which the singer-songwriter performed ahead of hitting the stage with the boy band. BTS took home both the trophy for Top Duo/Group and for Top Social Artist (for the third year in a row).
"Boy With Luv" features on BTS' latest album, Map of the Soul: Persona, which released earlier this month.
