Let the feud rumors continue.
On Friday (May 31), Priyanka Chopra shut down reports that she met her close friend Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's baby boy, Archie. The Quantico actress' denial came after The Sun claimed Priyanka attempted to mend her "broken" friendship with the Duchess by visiting the newborn and bringing him Tiffany jewels.
"While these are great gift ideas… this story is untrue, and I was actually in town for work," Priyanka tweeted. "I hope whoever this 'source' is starts checking their facts more often."
As previously reported, a source told the British tabloid that the Bollywood star and her husband Nick Jonas brought a "number of baby gifts from posh jewelers Tiffany," including a $250 bubble blower, for baby Archie. "They thought baby Archie was just adorable, and Meg is loving her new life. She looked fantastic and has taken to life as a mum swimmingly," the insider said of Priyanka's alleged visit that apparently didn't happen.
As Royal fans know, feud rumors have surrounded Priyanka and Meghan's friendship for months and only intensified after Priyanka didn't attend the Duchess' New York City baby shower in March. However, the 36-year-old actress shot down feud rumors while on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen when asked if she didn't attend Meghan's baby shower because she upset with her for skipping out on her wedding months prior.
"They said you didn’t go to her baby shower because you were pissed at her!" Andy said. Priyanka then replied, "Oh my god. No, it’s not true."
While Priyanka hasn't met little Archie, Meghan Markle's other BFFs Jessica Mulroney and Serena Williams have. The two ladies reportedly met the Duchess' first child secretly last month in the days after she welcomed Archie on May 6.
