As any Shawn Mendes fan will tell you, the 20-year-old singer is obsessed with the Harry Potter franchise. He's even revealed he'd be a Gryffindor out of the four Hogwarts Houses so it should come as no surprise that he has a crush on a cast member.
At a recent concert, Shawn held a Q&A for VIP fans and answered any and all burning questions fans had for him. One brave fan decided to ask Mendes who he was currently crushing on.
While he's had his fair share of rumors of who he's dating, the "In My Blood" singer confessed he still has a huge crush on Harry Potter's own Emma Watson aka "Hermione Granger."
"I really just do love Emma Watson still," he revealed. "I'll tell her that." Thankfully, he's met the actress but he wasn't as cool, calm, or collected as you'd imagine. Mendes further explained that he's even embarrassed himself in front of the actress because of his crush.
He previously talked about meeting Watson while appearing on a "Carpool Karaoke" segment on The Late Late Show with James Corden. "I met Emma Watson once and that was one of the first times I was really, really starstruck," he explained. "I was definitely sweating a bit, but I think I played it cool. I think I was good."
Mendes has most recently been linked to fellow artist Camila Cabello after releasing their steamy "Señorita" music video but it looks like they're just friends.
