Recently, it seems like every animated Disney movie is getting the live-action treatment. Beyoncé and her magical voice stunned as "Nala" in the remake of The Lion King while Halle Bailey was recently announced as the face of "Ariel" from The Little Mermaid and it's rumored Harry Styles may be her "Prince Eric."
Not to mention, the new Aladdin was a box office hit and we'll be getting a new Mulan soon — as well as a bevy of other movies from the iconic House of the Mouse. Also, while not a Disney remake, let's give an honorable mention to Camila Cabello for scoring her first lead role in an upcoming retelling of Cinderella. Any way you look at it, it's safe to say the movie biz has live-action fever!
Currently, there are a few Disney movies slated to be remade as live-action including Peter Pan, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Snow White and the Seven Dwarves but none have gotten far enough into production just yet to cast the coveted lead roles.
While it's unconfirmed how many other classic films we all grew up with will be getting the Disney live-action makeover, I've taken up upon myself to cast 20 artists in their perfect role — you're welcome, Disney (Seriously, if you need a Casting Director I'm here to help).
