Billie EIlish Forgets The Words To 'Bad Guy' During Stripped Down Set

Billie Eilish's chart-topping single "Bad Guy" might be one of the biggest songs of 2019, but even after performing it all year on tour the 17-year-old had trouble remembering the words during a stripped down set at UNICEF's annual Masquerade Ball over the weekend.

She and her brother/collaborator FINNEAS took the stage at the fundraising event in their hometown of Los Angeles and played a three song set that also included acoustic versions of "all the good girls go to hell" and "when the party's over." A fan compiled a video of clips from the evening, that includes the anti-pop star laughing (and cursing) when she forgets the lyrics to her own massive hit.

"F**k," she says with a laugh while sitting on a stool onstage. "I don't remember the words at all." She was able to recover from the mistake though and deliver a chillingly beautiful rendition of the song.

The yearly event is organized for UNICEF Next Generation, a diverse group of philanthropic young professionals (ages 21 to 40) committed to improving the lives of children. Though a teenager herself, Eilish was the perfect fit to perform at the ball. This year, she's used her platform time and time again to vocalize her political views and encourage fans to be active in helping make the world a better place.

The young star goes back on the road in March 2020, but before that she's set to perform at the Los Angeles stop of iHeartRadio's 2019 Jingle Ball tour in December and ALTerEgo in January.
